I'm gonna be honest? Against the bots? I'm full break action shotgun against them. It feels so good to use against the bots (compared to the bugs where the 2 shots then reload screws you over in the frequent swarms of high difficulties), and with good aim can take down everything but heavy armor.

I still want it to be a primary weapon, and at that maybe pretty please with a cherry on top, it gets medium armor piercing and 60 shells (+full reload from supply like the punishers get)

#i think medium armor penetrating would make it competitive with the other shotguns #kind of like a limited ammo buckshot alternative to the slugger #it'd also make it good against the bugs if you're using a machine gunner support weapon to clear swarms #sorry im a big fan of the aesthetics of old obselete loading and firing systems in fire arms #break action/lever action/pump action/revolvers and the like just hit aesthetic for me like giant axes and swords do #lemon rambles #helldivers 2

i find it very interesting that we find out this episode that the use of physical ammo is forbidden due to pollution

but then nika recognizes that the attackers are from earth specifically BECAUSE they use physical ammo

and yeah it makes sense that earthians wouldn’t have easy access to the best technology so they have to resort to using physical ammo. but this calls into question whether the ban of physical ammo is also another way of oppressing earthians so they can’t revolt easily

When somebody only uses my chosen name while putting me down, it kind of makes me wish I didn't have a name at all.

And when somebody only uses my pronouns when they try to coerce me into something, then switch back to they/them when talking about me to anybody else, it kind of makes me uncomfortable af.

I sincerely do not enjoy being labeled or referred to. Being referred to is such a negative experience for me irl.

Yet not giving people a set of name/pronouns when they ask automatically seems to make them think you're secretly a serial killer trying to cover up something?????? Or like you're untrustworthy and must be hiding because you're a Bad Person instead of just not wanting to label yourself.

Can I just please not be forced to label myself for everybody else's comfort?

I feel like that information is so personally intimate anyways like unless you know me and we're close, why do you even care? I don't think it's necessary for the first stages of getting to know somebody even though in this culture we've normalized it to be that way.

Plus if I don't give you a name then I have the opportunity to earn one. Give me a name that you think I deserve and let it be what you honor me by instead! How about that? It's probably the only way I'll be comfortably perceived since some people will change my labels as they see fit regardless. Just call me what you like, I feel like my name/pronouns have been corrupted as is

I am for banning guns 100%. If you "need" one for hunting - it should have a minimum of 1-4 rounds. Ammo can only be purchased in limited quantities & you cannot have an excessive amount or you face penalties. Otherwise you can hunt with spears & crossbows.

A 100% ban on tactical gear, gas masks, & bullet proof vests - if it's not part of your certified most likely government job then you don't need it.

If regular citizens are caught producing, selling, trading, storing or purchasing these items - terrorism charges.

Oh & if you're military - your gear remains at the base or a designated local quartermaster. Same goes for cops. Fight me over this. Once you're off duty - no weapons or tactical gear for you.

No special circumstances. Done with impunity. It will fuck with the job market, but we've bounced back before. We'll do it again. Lots of jobs to be gained in green energy.
