on movie night, all of the islanders take a seat at a large crescent-shaped table where a big screen and projector is set up in contrast to the night sky. islanders will answer trivia questions about each other and will need to answer fastest and first to earn a chance to select one of the movie titles on the screen:

the first trivia question flashes on the screen, "where did josh go to college?” and naomi answers the fastest : university of wisconsin. as a result, she gets to pick a movie from the options. she chooses ‘just joshing.’

the movie flashes on the screen, showing three clips :

josh and mali are on the terrace together. “i don’t want to be your friend,” he tells her, and mali asks him what he does want. “fine, we can be friends,” he finally relents, smiling at her. “but not, like, best friends. friends made from this weird ass experience that might hang out in greece together in six months, pending other obligations.” mali laughs, “i'll see you in six months, pending your other obligations.” the way they say it makes it sound like work. there’s a pause until mali is the one to break the silence and end the conversation, saying that she should go find the others. she leans over and presses a gentle kiss to his cheek, closer to the corner of his mouth, before leaving.

josh is in the kitchen, talking to adela: “it kills you that badly that you can't have me, huh?” he says. “if naomi and dylan do fuck us...” adela replies, “you’d be last on my list.” josh responds, “you're such a liar. if they screwed us, you and i both know we'd fuck each other to get back at them.”

the last clip is of josh and jenny, speaking in the living room. “i'm no one's first choice,” jenny says. "you could've been my first choice, if you didn't fuck max!" josh replies.

the next question flashes on the screen. “what board game is angel really good at?” callie answers the fastest: chess. as a result, she gets to pick a movie from the options. she chooses ‘frank me later.’

the movie begins playing, showing three clips :

it shows frankie and callie on the terrace, where callie says “what do you want?” and frankie says “you know what i want!” and frankie pushes callie up against the door and there’s this tense moment where they look like they’re going to kiss before they don’t.

frankie’s talking to angel in the smoking area, where she tells him about what happened: “hey, i wanna be frank with you, because you’re a cool guy, and i said i’d give you a heads up if anything happened or whatever, but like… me and callie were chatting earlier and it got kinda intense. you know how it is with an ex—or whatever we are now—and there was this moment where she was like, all up in my grill like what the fuck do you want and it was hot, obviously, and i just kinda… pushed her?” and then she says, “it’s like… i just keep waiting for me to stop feeling some typa way when i’m around her.” and angel gets pissed and replies, “you don’t know what you want. and i don’t think you really care who you hurt while you try and figure it out.”

frankie’s with victoria on the date. “oh, you’ve got a little…” frankie gestures to her mouth. “no, it’s more like… wait, let me do it.” she sucks her thumb into her mouth, leans across the table and gathers up the dribble of chocolate from the corner of victoria’s cheek, bringing it back to lick it off her thumb. “you’re all good.”

the next question flashes on the screen after that. the question, “when did romi get her first tattoo?” marcus answers fastest: from her dad, at age 16. he chooses to see ‘when in rom-i.’

the first clip is romi and jenny in the bedroom. “and who finds you interesting, romi? the guy with all of five thoughts in his head? the guy who fucked your cousin? very impressive. i bet josh would love this side of you. or, you know, maybe he'd pull a marcus and realize you're too fucked up for him too,” jenny says. and romi says, “you know, you can bait with me dejan or marcus or whoever the fuck you want but there's never going to be a reality where i question how josh feels about me or how i feel about him and i know it must be so sad that you can't say the same.” and jenny retorts, “what, are you fucking in love with him or something?”

dylan and romi are standing in the kitchen, it’s just after dejan and max have left. romi says that she thinks naomi has feelings for dylan, but ‘not like what she has for josh.’ but romi also explains to dylan that, “if josh wants naomi back now, it’s only because she's unattainable,” and adds, “josh doesn’t seem like the type of guy who can be with one girl for very long.” she ends the conversation by saying that dylan deserves “someone who is only going to choose him and not have someone else constantly toying in the back of their mind.”

it shows dante and romi on the terrace where she asks, “did you just say you love me?” and dante replies “i do. i love you, romi.” she says she’s sorry for how she’s responded and that it scares her, and then she says, “i do care about you, dante, and i’ve grown so fond of you over the last couple of days but if you really want to be open, i mean, if you want me to be really certain about the decision…i think we should do it.” the camera cuts to romi and jenny speaking at the bean bags, where romi tells jenny that dante just told her that he loves her. jenny says, “why would dante be lying?” and romi replies, "i think he's lying 'cause i can't see any reason why he would be in love with me...and, like, you know what's so fucked up about all of this? i think i'm in love with marcus."

the next questions flashes on the screen, “what’s marcus’s dog’s name?” josh answers first : griffin. he chooses to watch naomi’s movie. the screen darkens and three clips start to play :

naomi and dante are in the pool together and he has her pressed up against the wall. he says that he’d “ask about kissing her if he wasn’t worried about getting a concussion.” she says, “but if you weren’t worried about the potential concussion … ?” the clip cuts to show them in the kitchen, dante stepping closer to her as naomi asks, “do you want me to try it with you?” and dante says, “i want you to try with everyone. and with me, yes. i would’ve kissed you yesterday, before jenny.” naomi tugs dante’s face closer, lips nearly brushing when she says, “well, that’s too bad. i’m not really a sharer.” he still has her cornered, pressed against the countertop when he groans in frustration. “you’d better let me out before we get in trouble.”

there’s some really quick clips of her flirting. one where she’s kissing stella outside on the swings, one where she’s showing marcus her ass and laying on him, one where she’s leaning close to victoria and speaking french.

naomi is talking to dylan in the living room and she says, “i didn’t say it would always be him. you said he always there in the background, and i agreed. whether it was always going to be him or not, we ended because you accepted that things were over between us before we even spoke to each other.” and dylan says, “you saying you chose josh because i ended things sounds like an insult to josh.”

after the movie ends, the lights brighten and the next question flashes on the screen. “what’s adela’s favorite type of food?” dylan answers fastest: greek. he chooses to watch ‘under my adela’ and three clips begin to play on the screen.

there’s a clip of adela and josh together in the pool, and he asks if the “offer to have her up against a wall” is still on the table. adela asks him if he would take her up on it and josh says “maybe, yeah.”

naomi asks adela if dylan is her type and she starts laughing and says, “no. like literally not at all. i kind of wasn’t interested in him at all because, yeah, just thought he seemed a bit quiet and… plain ? he IS way hotter in person though, so that had me a bit like oh… but yeah… not my type at all. ” her nose scrunches as she shakes her head. “ i’m into like… dicks, really. honestly, my type’s more josh… ” she smirks over at naomi. naomi asks adela if she was going to say ‘boring’ (and mentions that she hates when people say that about dylan) and adela replies, “oh, i think i WAS gonna say boring. my impression of him going into casa was with you and he just seemed like a bit of a pushover, so that didn’t really excite me.”

josh asks adela, “what’s so interesting about dylan? he’s a bartender?” and she says, “well, if you really want to know— he's from australia. plus i love free drinks.”

after adela’s film ends, the final question flashes on the screen, “what internet trend was jude really into?” jenny answers fastest: parkour. she chooses to watch the film, ‘don’t be jude.’ a movie begins to play.

it’s jude and romi arguing by the firepit where he says, “but being a bomshell has risks, you have to keep a back up option around in case things go pear-shaped. i mean, taking it seriously as in viewing it as a big thing when it's not a big thing. it said kiss people you think are sexy, obviously i'm not gonna kiss angel. jenny is hot, but that doesn't mean i want anything with her. like at all. i don't.”

charlene asks jude, “are you happy to be officially coupled up with her?” and jude says, “maybe. i dunno.”

the last clip is of jude saying, “charlene is fit, yeah. the girl tried to drown me and i’d still tap that. she’s got bags of personality.”

the lights brighten and movie night comes to an end, leaving the islanders to discuss the night’s events.
