Well, it has been almost 3 months since I last made (digital) art for fandom, but I'm slowly getting back into it again! Kicking things off with some Ineffable Husbands...and what?! How have I not drawn them in their natural forms until now? You can also view Wish You Were Right Beside Me on AO3. This is a little @gospexchange giftie for @willow-tea, who gave me Under Your Scars by Gobsmack as a song prompt to work with. Let me just say I ran with this song as soon as I listened to it because the vibes and energy offered so much potential. As a music lover, I always love a good song that I can pull apart and piece back together visually because words and such can be interpreted in so many ways. And they tell so many stories. I guess this art piece is a mix of feelings and angst, but I'm going to be hopeful and believe that Aziraphale and Crowley find a way to shatter the glass wall separating them so they can be reunited again. it's nice to hear, especially because you don't doubt he's being completely genuine — but you still keep your face neutral, adjusting your sunglasses as you fiddle with your water bottle. "well, thank you, kirishima. i appreciate your apology."

he continues, eyes wide and full. "i want you to be happy, i want him to make you happy, i want you to get the effort you've always deserved," but then he pauses, expression torn as the moment hangs between you. it catches in your throat suddenly, and you're all too aware of the eyes that are on you from across the villa.

"but i have to know," he murmurs, "if i've got even half a chance left, because if i do, i wouldn't waste it for the world."

your smile is stubborn, and you have to sink your teeth into your lip to stop it from growing. "willing to step on some toes, are you?"

"baby, i'm stompin'."

and you can't help but to laugh at that, having to turn away from the relief that washes over his face. behind your glasses, you meet the curious stare of the man you've coupled up with, his mouth pulled down in a deep frown. a surge of guilt washes over you, but —

kiri is too easy to get lost in.

"i wouldn't say you have half a chance," you tell him finally, "maybe 1/16th."
