XIAO — never really cared much about finding his soulmate. His entire existence was dedicated to protecting Liyue, even if the nation no longer needed his protection. Besides, with how long he's been around, he just assumed his soulmate was long dead and that he'd never meet them. Though, a small part of him wondered... what was his soulmate like?
And, almost as if the universe had been listening, he ends up meeting you. His soulmate. It wasn't a classic, romantic meeting. He didn't save your life or anything like that. You were just a traveler who decided to stay at the inn.
He didn't think much of you until his eyes met yours and suddenly color was flooding into his world. It made him dizzy, and it stunned him into absolute silence because all he could so was stare at you with wide eyes.
You were clearly going through it as well, because obviously. You just met your fucking soulmate on a damn business trip. What the hell were you supposed to do now? It would be awkward to just... ignore what had happened, right? I mean, he's staring right at you and this was all just very overwhelming.
It was an awkward first meeting, that's for sure.
But during your time at the inn, whenever you were free from work, you spent it with Xiao. He was closed off, clearly keeping his guard up and not letting you get too close. You didn't know the reasons, but you didn't expect him to tell you his entire life story just because you two were apparently bound by the universe.
Honestly, you just assumed he didn't want to be with his soulmate. This didn't upset you. It wouldn't work out, anyway. You're only staying for a few weeks before heading home.
But archons, did Xiao want you. Behind his typical, distant behavior, Xiao was taking note of everything about you. Your interests, your habits, your sleep schedule, your favorite foods and desserts... everything you told him or subconsciously revealed, Xiao was tucking it away in his mind.
He wanted you. He wanted you to stay here, in Liyue, with him. Where you belong. But he didn't know how to express that. He's never been in love before, and it's not like he'll just suddenly become an expert at romance after meeting you.
When it was time for you to leave, he was crushed. He needed you to stay. He needed you by his side. Letters wouldn't be enough to fill the emptiness in your wake if you left. You had to stay.
You will stay.
And when you wake up to find yourself no longer in the inn, and instead in some small home deep within the mountains of Liyue, you're distraught.
Xiao looks genuinely guilty, robbing you of your freedom but... you understand, don't you? You have to understand. He just couldn't let you go. You're his soulmate, you were destined to be with him! You'll love it here, he'll make sure of it.
Just stay.

KAEYA — had always wondered what his soulmate was like ever since he was a child. He would spend hours just staring at the small crescent moon forever stained on his wrist, wondering if and when he'll meet the person with a matching mark.
Of course, as he got older he spent less time thinking about such things, though he did always hold out hope that he might be able to one day meet his soulmate. Little did he know, he's met his soulmate already. Multiple times.
You took over Sara's shifts at the Good Hunter whenever she had other things she needed to focus on, so Kaeya has spoken with you on numerous occasions, he's just never realized you were his soulmate because you keep your wrists covered. He's not one to judge, his wrists aren't visible either.
Him finding out was an accident. You had been handing him his order when your sleeves rolled up a bit, and his gaze just so happened to look at your wrists and he saw the very same crescent moon that was on his.
And for a moment, he froze. He just stared. Long enough that you were starting to feel a little uncomfortable. But before you could awkwardly send him on his way, he was showing you the crescent moon on his wrist as well and thus began your love story.
Or... well... it's what Kaeya had hoped for, but you didn't seem interested in soulmates at all. You didn't want the universe to decide who you were meant to be with, you wanted to make that decision yourself, so you had, to put it simply, bluntly rejected him.
And he gets it! It hurts, sure. He spent his entire life dreaming of this day, and it's not turning out the way he had hoped, but... you guys can be friends, at least, right? No strings attached?
For a while, Kaeya was fine with that. You and he had a really strong friendship. He cared about you, and you cared about him. Though your feelings were platonic, he was holding on to the hope that maybe one day, you'll realize you two were meant to be together.
But it was starting to seem as though that day might never come, because almost a year into your friendship with him, you had told Kaeya that you were thinking about entering the dating scene. He was... not too pleased about that, honestly. It was pretty obvious too, the way his entire mood soured the moment you brought the topic up.
He didn't stand by idly while this happened. Any person he saw you chatting up with romantic intentions would suddenly avoid you like the plague the next time you saw them. Any blind dates would end with you being ghosted. Hell, even some of your friends, the ones who were helping you get dates, were starting to avoid you too. It was so confusing.
But not Kaeya. No, Kaeya was always by your side.
Whenever you needed him, he was there. He always seemed to be able to make time for you. He listened to you vent your frustrations out, never once judging you or telling you that you were being dramatic. He was the only constant in your life these days.
Of course, you were completely oblivious to the fact that he was the cause of all of this. It's not that hard to blackmail people, he's learned. But they didn't deserve you anyway, seeing how easily they gave up on you the moment he approached them.
Maybe... maybe dating Kaeya wouldn't be so bad... I mean, you're the one deciding this, right? The universe isn't having any play in it. This is your decision. Isn't it?

KUJOU SARA — never cared about her soulmate. She knew she had one, you were in every dream she had. She found it to be more of a nuisance than anything else.
Her entire life was dedicated to her training, and to the Raiden Shogun. She neither had the time, nor the interest in searching for her soulmate. Besides, it didn't seem as if you resided in Inazuma. Your clothing was similar what people in Fontaine wear, and Fontaine was far away from Inazuma.
She was confident that she wouldn't be meeting you any time soon, so she never gave you any thought when she was awake. She never made any plans on what she would do if she did, by any chance, meet you. It didn't matter.
And she can't help but regret that, now that you're standing in front of her. If she had known that meeting her soulmate would make her feel like this, as if everything in the world suddenly made sense, then... well... she doesn't know what she would've done, to be honest.
No matter, Sara had no time to entertain you. Your stay in Inazuma was only temporary, so she saw no point in trying to form a bond with you. You, however, seemed to have different plans. She was used to seeing you in her dreams every night, but she was not used to seeing you in her waking moments.
Whenever she wasn't preoccupied with something, you were there to offer her company. It was annoying, and she's sent you away more than once, but that didn't seem to deter you. If anything, you seemed to become more determined each time she brushed you off.
At some point, she had given up on avoiding you. It was easier to just let you stick around. And, the more time she spent with you, the more attached she was becoming. It wasn't smart, she knew that, but could you blame her? You're so... irrevocably you.
Her fondness for you didn't go unnoticed.
Many people in Inazuma treated you with the same respect they treated Sara. You were her soulmate, after all. Should someone insult you, they would in turn be insulting her. Nobody wanted to get on her bad side.
There were, however, a few bad apples.
It should come as no surprise that a target was placed on your back the moment people took notice of Sara's attachment to you. She didn't think she'd have to worry much, because no one would be idiotic enough to actually try and harm you under her watch, but she should've known better.
It happened a few days before you were set to leave Inazuma to return home. A disturbance was going on within the city so Sara wasn't with you when you went on your daily walk just outside of it. It was supposed to be safe, but it wasn't.
Some vagrants had got the jump on you, and you nearly lost your life. You were lucky enough to have been found by some bystanders, but Sara was less than pleased when she heard about this. She had never taken pleasure in killing anyone before, but there was a deep-rooted sense of satisfaction deep within her chest when she watched the lives of those who hurt you fade away.
And as she sat by your side, waiting for you to wake up, she came to a decision. You can't be alone. If you are, you'll get hurt, and she won't be able to protect you. She can't let you leave Inazuma. She knows you'll more than likely hate her for making this decision for you, but if it means she can keep you safe, keep you alive and by her side, then... that hatred is something she'll be willing to bear.
Tumblr media
ALBEDO — doesn't have a soulmate. At least, he's not supposed to. He's an artificial being, so it wouldn't make sense for him to have a soulmate. Of course, he does find the concept of soulmates to be intriguing. Who, or what, decides who people are destined to be with? It's a question he hopes to find an answer to.
So he wasn't surprised when he found you passed out in the snow, deep within Dragonspine. He's seen this countless times before, travelers who don't take precautions before trying to brave the deadly cold that comes with being here. He assumed he would just nurse you back to health and you would go on your merry way.
That changed, however, when he was cleaning your wounds and he saw his name inked on your skin, right on your collarbone. In his handwriting, at that. It confused him, because... that would mean that he's your soulmate. But he can't be. And yet, it didn't come off when he tried wiping it off. It was a part of your skin.
This left him with many questions, though none of them got answered when you woke up. You couldn't remember much about yourself, other than your name and a few other details. You didn't even know why you were in Dragonspine, or where you were from. You did hit your head pretty badly, judging from the headwound, so that would explain the amnesia, though he's not sure if it was going to be something temporary or not.
You both decided it would be best to just have you stay here until you were able to recover some of your memories and although Albedo wasn't eager to make friends with you, he was grateful for the company. He was incredibly patient with you too, answering any questions you may have had ranging from a multitude of different topics.
And in return, you helped out as much as you could without overexerting yourself and making your injuries worse. You'd make sure to keep his little lab tidy when he was away. You'd help out with some of his experiments too, if he knew you wouldn't get hurt doing so.
All while trying to figure out how he could possibly be your soulmate. He checked over himself. Four times. Your name was nowhere on his body. So why? Why was his name on yours? As much as he hates to admit it, he thinks he may never get an answer to this mystery.
Though... that's not such a bad thing, he thinks. He finds himself enjoying your company more and more with each passing day, the whole soulmate thing rarely even crossed his mind. At least, until you had asked him why his name was permanently etched into your skin. It was fairly easy to explain everything to you, though he was unable to answer a few of your questions, sadly. Soulmates were still a mystery, after all.
And when you asked if you could write your name on him so you two could match, he found himself unable to say no. He found himself unable to speak at all, actually, as you wrote your name on his shoulder. You even added a little heart next to it.
But no, Albedo was too busy coming to terms with the feelings he has for you. They weren't new. He's been aware of them for a week or so now, he just never gave it much thought until now. Now, with you so close to him, it was simply impossible to ignore.
And once you pull away, you smile at him and say, "There! Now I'm your soulmate too, right?" And oh.
Oh.
There was no way Albedo was going to let you leave Dragonspine now.
Tumblr media
TARTAGLIA — feels a little bad for his soulmate, whoever they are. They can feel his pain, and he can feel theirs. So... they probably hate his guts, considering he's not the most careful person in the world. He pushes himself to his limits and beyond, and his soulmate has no doubt felt every single second of it.
Don't get him wrong, he would love to meet his soulmate. It's been a dream of his since he was a child, always eager to hear the story of how his mom and dad found out they were soulmates. Even as he grew older, the desire never went away. It was just... buried.
And his soulmate just so happened to be you, the significant other of a man who owed the Northland Bank a lot of money. He doesn't normally partake in debt collections, but he didn't have anything better to do so he decided to take this one on. He was going to use you as an example to your husband, though the moment his blade stabbed you, he froze.
He felt the pain. He stabbed you, and he could feel it. Oh fuck, he just stabbed his soulmate. That's definitely not the picturesque first meeting he was hoping for. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to tell his family this either...
Stabbing aside, he was utterly delighted. You, on the other hand, were terrified. Not only did this man just fucking stab you, his expression went from bored to something akin to crazed glee. He stared at you with a hunger that made you want to shy away from his gaze.
He doesn't care that you're already in a relationship with someone else. Not anymore, you're not. You're his, destined by the stars or however the story goes. And if your lover tries to get you back, he'll just kill them. Easy as that. Absolutely nothing will get in the way of him having you.
And he likes that you fight back against him. He especially loves it when you manage to escape. Hell, sometimes he'll even let you go just so he can chase you down again. It sends a thrill through him like no other when he catches you, and you stare at him teary-eyed and out of breath.
You're always so scared that he'll hurt you, but he would never do such a thing. He treats you like you're royalty, spoiling you with a seemingly endless amount of gifts. You're not quite sure how he knows what you like, and you're too hesitant to ask.
Honestly... he'd probably let you stab him. Y'know, he stabbed you, so it's only fair that you get to stab him in turn, right?
You think not. You're very hesitant, staring at him as though he were insane for even proposing such an idea. A part of him was disappointed. He wanted one of the many scars on his body to be from you. But a much larger part can't help but go soft at the sight of you shaking your head, sternly refusing to hurt him.
If he wasn't obsessed with you before, he certainly was now. You're too good. Too kind. He's holding you captive (lovingly, of course) and you refuse to hurt him? You don't even want to pinch him? How adorable.
Why, if he didn't know any better, he'd think that you might care about him.
He was nothing if not stubborn, of course. You might not care about him now, but you will in the future. He'll make sure of it.
After all, he's spent his whole life waiting for you.
Tumblr media
AYATO — never had the time to think of his soulmate. He was blessed (or cursed, depending on who you ask) with the ability to see the red strings that tied people together. When he was younger, before having to take on the duties of the Kamisato name, he would always stare at the one tied to his pinkie.
He even has the habit of twirling the red string around his finger whenever he gets stressed. Only behind closed doors, of course. It would probably appear strange to others if they saw.
Meeting his soulmate was something he had always planned out in his head as a child, and when he finally did meet you, it was so... simple. There was nothing magical about it, you had just bumped into him one day when he was out in the city and that's what started all of this.
For you, it was a forgettable encounter, one that would never cross your mind again. For him, it was everything he had been waiting for. Thoma thought it was a bit strange, but he dutifully gathered information about you when Ayato asked it of him. He needed to know everything there was to know about you.
He already knew what he was going to do when he met his soulmate, the only thing left was to actually do it. And you were definitely shocked when Kamisato Ayato himself showed up at your home and asked you to marry him.
You said no, obviously, because why the hell would you agree to marry someone you didn't know? Ayato had planned for this, of course. That's why he had Thoma learn everything about you, so the moment you declined his offer, he just smiled and made a comment about your family. It was very obvious what he was implying.
And even if you aren't close with your family, you can't live with blood on your hands. You were pretty much forced into accepting Ayato's marriage proposal. He was pleased with this outcome, promising to take care of everything himself.
Marrying him meant that you would, unfortunately, have to leave your home and instead live at the Kamisato Estate. Everyone was under the impression that this marriage was one of love and not coercion. You highly doubt that anyone would believe you if you told them the truth, and you were too concerned about what the consequences would be if you did.
Everyone at the estate was nice to you, at least, though the only people allowed to actually get close to you were Ayaka and Thoma.
And when the wedding was over, it was time for your honeymoon. You were not excited about that, but it seemed Celestia itself was on your side during that time because he was too busy to spend time with you.
If he wasn't threatening the lives of your family, you would have made numerous escape attempts by now. Still, you've made it very clear that you hate his guts.
Your hatred is something he detests, though he can't fault you for it. He understands that what he's forced you into is wrong, but in his mind, it was something that had to be done. He's sure that given enough time and space, you'll grow to understand why he did what he did.
And even though you scorn his existence, Ayato looks at you as if you've placed the stars in the sky.
Your strings are forever tied together, so there's no getting out of this. He doesn't plan on ever letting you go. He'd be a terrible husband if he didn't keep you close, wouldn't he?

I want to talk about Kujou Sara, because she's simply underrated and my girl deserves something.
Kujou Sara, a general hardened by her eternal oath and duty towards the Shogun - she has no time for petty distractions such as love. She's a rational creature, she's not cruel. She understands that people naturally crave affection, the people thrive off positive attention, it's a need that requires some sort of fulfilment.
She just never imagined that she would find herself in such a predicament.
The interactions started out small, you just wanted to talk to the scary looking general. Kujou Sara was polite but a little cold. Why were you bothering her? Weren't you done here? Wait, don't follow her around!
And that's how it starts. Despite her harsh tone I think Sara would actually be... Sweet. In her own way, of course. Ever since she was a little girl, Sara was never allowed to focus on anything else other than her training. Interactions with people that weren't formal were awkward with her, especially those of a romantic nature. Kujou Sara was aware that she had her fair share of admirers because of her strength and intellect but she never even batter an eye at those people.
But now she completely understands why those people get so tongue tied and flustered once they speak to the object of their affections.
What was meant to be a token of appreciation, Sara manages to turn it into a stern lecture. If Sara prepares you a meal, Sara somehow ends up losing her otherwise composed temper and force feeds you everything she made. Panic is not an emotion the warrior is used to.
But the blind rage she feels once someone else manages to sweep you off your feet before her is. She can be sneaky, when she wants to be.
Kujou Sara is also not afraid of spilling blood if there is a need for it.

But really is there anything better than having a character who is aloof in one manner or another, who runs on logic and reasoning or who is simply just cold and withdrawn people, absolutely losing their SHIT and are unable to compose themselves?

A scaramouche x [gender netural] reader story
♫ J’ai pas fait semblant, je te jure. J’ai jamais dit non, j’ai juste. Laissé le temps courir, partir, venir, mourir, courir, partir, venir, et mourir ♫
Tumblr media
"I received news from your soldiers that you acquired my assistance?" An angelic voice came from an elegant woman with long rosy pink hair, she resembled that of a mermaid.
"Divine Priestess. You sure took your sweet time getting here," Scaramouche said bitterly.
"Well, this unexpected snowstorm did prove to be a difficult travel for your soldiers, not to mention that one couldn't breathe through their mouth."
"Oh, so he made it? Impressive. I'll be straightforward with you, Kokomi, I'm not here for idle chit chat."
Kokomi grinded her teeth at Scaramouche, who had very little to no care for his people. "Of course, I don't want to waste your time here any longer, my Lord."
"I'll pretend you aren't mocking me just this once for their sake," Scaramouche unwrapped a blanket to reveal the raven he had been carrying in his arms. Kokomi gasped at the sight.
"A raven? But I thought all of them were terribly massacred."
"I had thought so too. However, it seems as though one managed to survive. But not without being harmed. I managed to stop the poison from getting anywhere near their heart, but only someone with your expertise can fully rid them of this poison."
"Yes, of course, I'll gladly do so. Seems to be yet another effect of black magic. " Kokomi carefully picked the raven off Scaramouche's hold and placed them on a flat surface, "You poor thing, do not fret. The pain will only be temporary."
Scaramouche gave Kokomi space, distancing himself. He had saved the raven purely out of impulse.
The truth was,
He saw a little bit of himself when he witnessed the Raven's begging.
The times he had begged his mother to not toss him aside.
"Please don't leave me! I swear I'll be better, I'll become better!"
But when he begged, no one saved him.
So he saved you, his raven.
It didn't take too long for you to wake up. The immediate soreness rushed through your body. You held your head as you felt a headache coming in.
Though your eyes were blurry, you could make your surroundings you were in an infirmary of some sorts. But most importantly, you weren't home.
Your memories started to flood back in. They were dead, you could feel it. You were alone.
"So you're finally awake."
Your eyes shifted to the doorway where the man who saved you stood.
"Who are you?" On guard, you still had no clue of this man's intention regardless of his helping hand.
"I was expecting a 'Thank you', but I did hear you Raven's were quite the bold ones when it comes to strangers not of their Lord's."
"You didn't answer my question." You carefully demanded.
"Well, to put it simply, I'm your Lord." He crossed his arms.
Your Lord? But that would mean. Now that you looked at him, he awfully resembled the Raiden Shogun. Oh.
"You're her son."
He shoulders tensed at your realization. He sighed, rolling his eyes from you to the bandages on your stomach.
"That I am. Seems your injury has been healing quite well. " he placed a hand at his chest, playing with the fabric. You eyed his strange actions.
"If you have taken place, does that mean the Shogun has stepped down?"
"She died."
Your heart sank. "She - she died? Is that why she didn't come to save us?" You talked more to yourself than to the man in the room.
"The events happened just a mere day before your family's incident. It's such a shame. You all were supposed to be my army."
Your headache was starting to hurt. What now? What now? What now? What now? What now?
"Calm yourself, you swore to me, remember? I don't need a brainless fool by my side."
You were still in shock that all of this had occurred, this- it was too much.
"Ugh, clearly you are still recovering. I will have someone to check on you for the time being. I'll give you some time to think, but when I return, I expect a true Raven to be here"
-☆-
The morning air felt unusually cold, as you waited at a food vendor in Inazuma City for Kujou Sara. Last night thoughts lingered in your mind.
"Hey, you alright?" Kujou Sara woke you up from your thoughts.
Huh? You were confused as to how you exactly made this bench you and Sara sat on in front of a small pond with Koi fish swimming about. Was I that deep in my thoughts?
"Yes, sorry I was just zoning out."
"So, what did he talk to you about? Did he confess his undying love for you?" Sara practically gagged at the idea.
"Nothing really just something about scouting the area near Kannazuka island."
Sara nodded taking a bit out of her egg roll. "Didn't you say you have something to tell me?" You asked.
"Ah yes that. I just wanted to ask a personal question, if you don't mind that is."
"That depends on the question, Sara."
"Do you like Scaramouche?" You almost choked on your food.
"No." You managed to cough out.
"Well you sure answered that quickly, a little too eager to shut it down if i do say so myself."
You gave her a deadpanned look to which she lightly laughed at.
"That couldn't have possibly been your question, stop messing with me, your jokes are not funny."
"Oh but you laughed when I fell down the stairs." Sara sarcastically said.
You covered your chuckle at the thought.
"Wow!!" Sara exaggerated.
"Now see, that was funny." You both smiled at the memory.
You both relaxed in the silence eating your food. You've grown close to Sara during your few months living and working in Tenshukaku, often checking on each other regardless of different positions.
Though you denied it you did trust her and valued her opinions even though they annoyed you or you disagreed with them. However, at this very moment.
She was lying.
So this is how it is. So this is how it is.
You both were lying.
Sara broke the silence in disappointment, "Do you even know who you are?"
"Do not patronize me." You immediately retorted.
"Can't you believe it's been almost 4 months, and you still haven't told me your actual name?"
"What are you getting at, Sara."
"You've thrown your life away and gave it to someone who is just keeping it stored away."
"Such poetic words, it almost touched my heart truly."
"I get it, you've lost so many-" that was it.
"Don't kid yourself, Sara, you don't get it. You never will, but I've never antagonized you for it. So what? Let me throw my life away. You are not responsible for my actions. Don't waste your time on me when I make my decision. I chose this."
"You do love him… don't you?" Sara's eyes stayed on yours. And all you saw was pity and regret.
"This conversation is over."
The koi fish scattered away as you stood up, taking your leave back into the city. Sara did not call out for your name, not that you expected her to.
You were in a rush back to Tenshukaku purely out of frustration, you didn't usually get upset that easily at least not with Sara.
You were on edge.
What did she really want to say? It felt like she was testing my current mindset. And clearly, I have failed. The trust is no longer there. She won't confide in me anymore. Could she be-
You were abruptly pushed back when your shoulder collided with another.
"Oh, so sorry, dear." A lady grabbed your arm apologetically. You turned to look at the said the Lady. No way.
Lady Guji of Narukami Grand Narukami Shrine.
Also known as Yae Miko.
"It's not a problem. What a rare occurrence to see you far into the city Lady Guji. What brings you here?"
"Ah, just a change of scenery. Working two jobs as Chief editor and Head shrine Maiden, a woman like me surely needs a break, don't you think?"
"Yes indeed" Lady Guji's way of speech was always hard for you to read, it's as though she is an open book with no words written on it.
"You look so gloomy dear, it's been quite a while hasn't it. That last time we've truly interacted was when I visited your family." She clasped her hand on yours as a means to say her condolences.
"I must be on my Lady Guji" you broke off from her hold, bowing and continuing your walk.
She called your name.
"Whenever you seek answers you know where to find me."
You gazed behind your shoulder as you watched Lady Guji walk off.
She is heading in the direction of Kujou Sara.

In a discreet room in Komore Teahouse, four guests hold a heavy discussion.
"Raven's are very loyal Sara, they were soldiers and messengers for the Shogun herself. And now only one remains. They aren't just loyal because Scaramouche saved them but because it's their job" Shikanoin Heizou explains.
Sara groaned in frustration as Yae Miko hummed.
"Oh detective, it's much more than that, surely you have realized that?"
"Miko enough of your literature input." Sara barked.
"Sara you can't deny they clearly have something between them that the public eye can't see, maybe even they themselves can't see-" Yae Miko took a sip out of her tea.
"-Regardless, your relationship has cracked after your inputting"
"Which is why I told you not to engage so brashly," Heizou added.
"Yes, I get it, I fucked up. However, I do not regret it one bit. They are obviously very detached from themselves. I simply want to help."
"Relax, Sara, one might think you're the one in love-" Miko teased, though it only upset the ex-general.
"Enough of these games Miko. I had enough about them. The whole purpose isn't about Raven, it's about Scaramouche and bringing him down."
"Alright alright, slow your horses Sara. Raven may not be the whole purpose but they surely do play a part" Heizou defused the rise in emotions.
"With what exactly?" Sara calmed herself.
"Well, Divine Priestess? You've been unusually quiet when you're the one who hosted this meeting?" Miko gestured to the unspoken guest.
"Apologies everyone, I'm just soaking in the many possible outcomes of this rebellion" Kokomi placed the tea she was holding for a while down.
"Of course, because this could always backfire on us at any time. Which might very well cost us our lives" Heizou reminded. Everyone nodded in acknowledgement.
Kokomi cleared her throat.
"There is one factor we might be able to exploit from our Raven's existence-
their heart."

You trashed everything in your room. Glass shattered on the floor. Curtains dragged to the floor.
You were sweating, as your chest was burning up. Your brain screamed at you as you gripped the edge of your vanity table. You couldn't even bring yourself to look at your reflection out of fear on your appearance.
It felt like darkness was cloaking you, suffocating you. Constant whispers of wanting to kill and commit multiple bloodsheds flew into your ears as you told it to "shut up" which to no surprise did not work.
Frequently, Kujou Sara's name was brought up. You always talked big on doing what you must. But the morbid description of putting an end to her clawed at you. She was your friend, after all.
I always seem to contradict myself. You laughed at yourself.
You wanted to rip your skin, you couldn't take it.
You heard your name being called from behind you.
"You're aware when I said this room is for you to do as you please, I didn't mean to turn it into a dumpster." You lifted your eyes to see Scaramouche through the mirror, blurring out your image. You hadn't realized he welcomed himself inside.
"Lord-"
"Don't you ever get tired of calling me that? It's just me and you. You know my name use it."
"I didn't mean to Kuni" he softly sighed as he walked up closer to you resting his hand on the top of your chair.
"I don't know about that, you seemed to make sure to destroy every fragile item here. Mind telling what's the issue?"
"It's nothing."
"Don't lie to me"
"…"
"It's quite embarrassing for me to have to fetch my own soldier when they should've arrived at the said time." He complained but he didn't really seem to care that much about the matter.
"It won't happen again"
"I would hope not. Now-" he grabbed your hair pulling it off your face.
"-Who is the problem?"
"All of them," you answered.
He hummed. "I should have expected as much. Well, there is nothing we can do at the movement. What do you say we just act it out till the moment to strike arises."
"Yes sir"
Sir? You never really called him as such. And it was off-putting for Scaramouche. He chose to ignore it.
"... I never liked that Kujou girl anyways."
He pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket wiping the sweat off your face with it.
"Now we have work to do, dear. Don't worry about the mess, I'll have someone take care of it."
You slowly stood up from your chair with the help of Scaramouche pulling your chair out for you.
"Calmer?" He asked.
You nodded. You peeked through the now wide opened windows thanks to you. "The snow is finally drying up."
"The cold still lingers so make sure to wear your coat, I'll meet you outside."
"No, wait." You called out.
Scaramouche stopped at the door, awaiting your response. "My coat is on the bed, I just need to put it on. So might as well go down together" you swiftly made your way to your bed to put on your coat.
"Well then, hurry up, would you?"
Scaramouche held the door for you, as you walked out together.
And the voices were gone just like that.

Our Love Will Never Die (Ayaka x Thoma x Multiple)
CHAPTER TWO
Five years had passed since her marriage to Kujou Kamaji. In these past five years, Ayaka had transformed into a beautiful young woman full of poise and grace. She had birthed three children in the meantime. Her three strong sons had proved to be strong heirs to the Kujou as well as the Kamisato household. And Ayato's influence had spread throughout the Kujou household and seeped into every single affair of theirs. Ayaka had become head of the Kujou household, a titled that was rightfully her husband's. But Ayato had alas made it so that Kamaji was no more than a pawn who danced on the whims of the Kamisatos'.
 Ayaka and Ayato were not the only ones to benefit from this as Thoma was now the Chief Retainer of the Kujou household and hence, held the authority of running the business of the house as he pleased. The only person brave enough to object to this was Kujou Sara who noticed the dwindling influence of the Kujou household. This was a matter she wished to bring up with the Shogun herself but it did not slip Ayato's claws. He had her transferred to Kujou Encampment as a foot soldier instead. A Vision bearer becomes a common soldier. Thus was Ayato's foothold.
 Kamaji's influence was little to none; a fact to which he was oblivious. Another fact to which he remained blissfully ignorant to was his children. The trueborn boys of the Kujou household were indeed not trueborn. All of them possesed a good amount of their mother's features but none of their fathers. All three boys were blond of hair. Even though their mother bore silver hair and their father brown. This was a fact which was whispered about in the Kujou household but the childrens'  legitimacy was never questioned any further when Lady Ayaka herself cut down a servant who dared to call her children bastards.  In all honesty all three children had been fathered by Chief Retainer Thoma. Every night whenever Kamaji initiated sex with Ayaka, she'd give him some of the tea Thoma had prepared. Kamaji would slip into a dreamless sleep while Thoma fucked Ayaka's brains out. Ayaka came to bear all three of children. Though their passioned had burned intensely for the past five years, something had changed in the last. Thoma did not wish to commit any further.
 The situation they were in was quite complicated. Kamaji truly loved and worshipped his wife. He loved "his" children dearly. And Thoma was slowly starting to realise how unfair what he was doing was. Everytime he prepared the laced tea he'd stare into the cup listlessly. Every time he watched Kamaji go limp and slide onto the ground he'd feel a pit in his stomach. He loved Ayaka, he truly did. But right now he was crushing on Kamaji's happiness. Was that fair?
 Ayaka sat by the shrine in the Kamaji household. Thoma sauntered in, a dishrag in his hand. "You asked for me?" he said.
She cocked her head. "Yes. Yes i asked for you," she said, "I asked for you three days ago. Where were you?" She asked.
Thoma looked away in shame. "Ayaka..." he started but she furiously cut him off. "Are you seriously blowing me off right now?? After everything I have done for you?" she said. "Everything you have done for me?" he asked.
"I birthed your children! I gave you a name, a title, a place! Do those things mean nothing to you???" She said, her voice high.
Thoma huffed, screwing his eyes shut. "I think...I think it is time you made a choice Ayaka." he said.
"A choice? What choice?" she said.
"It is either me or Kamaji. I cannot keep doing this." He said.
She paused for a moment. Time felt placid. "Thoma." She said. "If I chose you, what would that mean exactly? What; will we go to Mondstadt? Will we live in a hut with our three children? Is that the life you wish to give me?" she said.
"Ayaka," Thoma's voice broke, "How can you say that?"
"Thoma I am not being rude," Ayaka asked,  "Do you think love is enough to sustain our lives?" She asked.
They stood together in silence, both unmoving. Neither ready to speak a word. Speaking would only imply one thing. And neither of them was ready for that.
A guard entered the premises. "Lady Ayaka," he announced, "Your presence is required in the meeting with the Kanjou Commission."
"Right away," she said, moving past Thoma. He turned around, watching her leave. "And Ser," Ayaka said, pausing to speak to the guard. "Please escort Chief Retainer Thoma back to the Kamisato Estate. I believe his excellent services are needed there more than ever."
She did not see him again after that. Nine months later another babe was born off Ayaka. And this time she was brown of hair.

Hi! Congratulations on the 100 followers! Your building god series is so beautifully worded and the worldbuilding is absolutely to die for. I especially love the different spins you put on how each region and its inhabitants view/revere their creator.If you're still taking milestone requests, I was wondering how some characters (of your choosing) would be like with a creator who's free with their affections? Like a bow is met with a kiss, or creator insists on embracing instead of them kneeling?
Thank you! I, uh, think I went a little overboard with this prompt... Sorry for the wait!
A/N: Note that the reader’s gender varies between the snippets!
Word counts: 634 / 702 / 954 (163)
Warnings: Reader touching (kissing, hugging) acolytes

One, two, three, four, five, six.
One, two, three, four, five, six.
Zhongli measured the paces required to walk across the room, then counted the steps to return. Pacing was certainly not part of his usual repertoire, and even now he worried how much wear he was putting on the old soles of his shoes. Gah, he should have gotten them replaced when he heard that their Architect would soon arrive in Liyue City! No, he should have gotten all his clothes sorted out and more presentable, that would have made a better impression. Or… would it have been better to send Xiao to clean up that old residence he used some five hundred years ago?
Was it right to make that deal with Keqing? She had come up with that plan to ensnare Ningguang, and with her busy, the most likely candidate to soak up all of Her attention was out of the picture for now. All that was left now would be to ingratiate themselves with Her and ensure their standing. It was no sure-fire solution, but with the wildly short notice, it would be the best that they would have.
Zhongli snapped to attention. Out in the hallway, he heard two people approaching. One was Keqing’s voice, the other sounded on strings of gold. The latter voice laughed, a clear chiming sound that he cursed the wall for muffling. It was airy, it was cheerful, it was a balm to his weary ears and heart.
“–And I would like to introduce you to my associate.” As Keqing continued speaking, Zhongli hurried to make himself look fully presentable. “He’s in the employ of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, and he’s quite knowledgeable about the corners of Liyue and its history.”
The door glided open, and Zhongli turned and kneeled. “Dearest Creator, History’s Author, Forge of Days and Orator of Order. It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you to the City of Liyue, Land of Contracts and Order,” a shadow neared. Considering the finery just in the shoes and socks, this had to be the Creator. He raised his head slightly and held out a hand, “Demesne of that Archon Rex Lapis.” She set Her hand in his- the Creator, touching him at last! Her gilded caress on him was ten thousand times better than he could have imagined- and he brought it to his lips to kiss. “I sincerely hope that You may find our city–” Zhongli tipped his head up and his next words died in his throat.
There was not a hint of kindness or fondness on Her countenance, only dispassionate indifference. In the space of a heartbeat, Her hand snapped out of his and seized his collar, snapping him up to his feet with an urgency he hadn’t felt in centuries. In the same breath, She pulled his head down, tilted his head to the side, and–
Zhongli’s thoughts stopped dead.
Her Grace, the First Arbitrator, had pulled him in for a kiss. Not a chaste kiss on the cheek, but one to be shared between lovers.
She broke the kiss and pulled away. “There. That oughtta keep you quiet for a hot second, Rexie.” She released Her grip on his lapels and he scrambled to catch himself at the last second. “I’ve tolerated ‘Your Grace’ this and ‘Your Holiness’ that, and I’m drawing a line in the sand here and now.” She spun around to face a Keqing that was too shocked for words, “That goes for you too, Kaykay. Am I clear?”
A blush formed on Keqing’s cheeks. “C-c-Crystal!”
She turned back to him. “How about you, Zhongs? …Zhongs?” She paused, kneeling to more closely inspect the near catatonic archon, a look of frustration crossing her face. “I’m starting to think this stunt was a bit counterproductive…”

Jean fiddled with the pen in her hand. She wasn’t sure how she should be reacting to this whole situation. The Creator. Here. In her domain. Who specifically requested to talk with her alone. Her. Specifically her. And no one else. With the Creator. In this office.
Stressed? Her? No. She didn’t even know what the word meant!
Someone knocked on her door and she swore she jumped a foot into the air and fumbled, trying to catch her pen. “Jean?” Lisa’s voice was muffled through the door. “Your special visitor is here.”
“O-oh, right.” When had she been gripping the pen so tightly? “Send Them in. Please.” She shook her hand as she stood up, trying to release the tension as she made her way to the front of her desk.
The doors clicked and swung inwards, revealing Lisa, ever with her calm smile. She stepped aside and let Jean see Mondstadt’s Liberator in the flesh. It’s not as though she hadn’t seen Them before- no citizen of this city could avoid the myriad statues, paintings, ore reliefs, but seeing Their Grace was something else entirely.
“Unser Emanzipator,” Lisa swept her hand to Jean in a grand gesture, “may I have the pleasure of introducing you to die Stellvertretender Großmeister, Jean Gunnhildr.”
Jean knelt, her heart hammering in her chest and her pulse sounding in her ears. She tilted her head down and closed her eyes. If only these could truly hide her state from Them. “Atem Führen, I hope to give you the warmest welcome to our city on this fine day. Mondstadt opens its gates and its arms to you on this day and for every day to come. We–”
“Jean…” The tone in Their voice made her freeze. She was no stranger in wanting some connection, some interaction to her dearest Creator, but hearing this hesitation from Them made her lock up. What had she done wrong? How had They judged her wanting? “Please, rise.”
She hurried to stand, her thoughts racing to find what her mistake was, alongside some way of wording her apology. “Y-Your Grace, I–”
Lisa chuckled, snapping Jean’s attention towards her. This is how she was acting in front of The Creator?! “I’ll leave you two to your little chat.” She grabbed the doors and turned to leave, but addressed Their Grace briefly. “Do remember to return those books on time, dearie. I haven’t had to come up with a punishment for someone like You, but please don’t give me a reason to get… creative.” She shut the doors behind herself as she gave one last chuckle.
They had given Lisa a brief glance over Their shoulder, then looked back at Jean. “Look,” They crossed Their arms, “I get it, you’re stressed, meeting a deity- ‘creator’-” They made air quotes at that remark, “is a big thing. But you need to calm down.”
“Calm–! I–!” Jean had a hard time figuring out what to parse first. “Löwenzahn, please tell me that there is some mistake here!”
“Jean. Calm down.”
Jean balked. “I am calm!”
They rolled their eyes. “Clearly not enough, as this can attest.” A hand snapped to hers, turning it over and revealing the ink splotch spread across her gloves. “Here,” They stepped forward, “this should help.”
“Your–!” she tried to take a step back from Their approach, but They were faster. They slipped their arms around her, pulling her in and keeping her from fleeing. “Your Grace, what are you doing?”
“I’m hugging you. Is your work taking that much of a toll on you?”
“Creator–”
“There’s that title again. Look, you can just call me [Y/N], alright? Much easier than remembering all those titles.”
“…Crea–”
“Uh uh! What did I say?”
Jean grit her teeth. Her hands were shaking and she could feel the blush on her face. What was going on?! “[Y/N]. Please let me go.”
“I’m not letting go until you calm down.”
Jean tried to focus on her breathing, on the doors ahead of her, on the sound of birds chirping outside, but she couldn’t stop the heat rising in her cheeks.
They sighed, shifting Their grip on her. “We may be here a while…”

Kujou Sara counted the steps as she crossed the room.
One, two, thee, four, five. She had been accosted by a certain noble time and again today, doing everything in his power to try and edge his way into Tenshukaku Palace.
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten. She wouldn’t have minded so much if it hadn’t been so clearly stated that the Shogun would not be entertaining the thought of visitors during such an important time.
Eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen. And if he were the only fool trying to worm his way in, this wouldn’t be such a huge problem. Word had reached her ears that other, less prominent nobles as well as unscrupulous merchants were seeking the same ends.
Sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty. All of this stress built on top of her work in the past days: ensuring the defenses were adequate (though she supposed that she should thank those intruders for testing them for her), directing the guards and their proper rotations, and training to be the personal guard for His Eternal Light.
Twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four, twenty-five. The Shogun required her to intensify her training- not that Her Eternity doubted her abilities, but she fully understood that any lapse in judgment, any gap in the armor around His Grace would be ruthlessly exploited in this vulnerable time, and they were not to show weakness while He was–
“Sara?” She almost tripped on her twenty-sixth step. “Kujou Sara? Is that really you?”
Sara recognized that voice. In her dreams, she had heard of the Shogun’s thundering commands echoing into infinity, but intertwined with it, echoing behind and though it was the essence of the Eternity from whom she drew her power and authority. One could not escape the shadow of its presence in Inazuma City, in Tenshukaku, least of all in the presence of the Shogun herself.
She turned and saw and felt Him, not as a reflection nor as an echo. Him, who forged the islands they stood upon and the shores of the infinities. Him, who engineered the thousand components in a human. Him, who set the paths of millions to their proper places, who set the Shogun in her throne, her servants in their places, and who brought her to this position.
And who brought the two of them together in this very room.
He was garbed in the finest that Inazuma had to offer. The deepest, most vibrant violets. The softest, finest silks. The insignias, threaded with gold and silver. Sara wondered if the Shogun harbored the faintest glimmer of envy of His attire. “Thank goodness I finally found you,” He chuckled. “I can’t believe I managed to sneak away from all the guards.”
And who was looking for her?!
She failed to stutter out a response before he continued. “I wanted to find you. A-and to thank you.”
“–Your Grace?!”
“Well,” He brought a hand behind his head, “I mean, you were the first person I pulled way back then. …and, to be honest, the, uh, only good character I pulled. For a long while. I just wanted to thank you for all the work you’ve done, and…”
‘Pulled’? She hadn’t heard that word used with this context. Perhaps there was a meaning that He was using that she was unfamiliar with? Something archaic or poetic? She could at least take a stab at the intended meaning. “Rest assured, Five-fold Light, being in Your service is a delight I would do all over again.”
“… I also wanted to apologize for all the work I put you through.”
“–Your Grace?” She didn’t expect a meeting with The Creator to surprise her in this way this much.
“I mean, I asked so much from you. All the domains, all the bosses, all the commissions and lay line outcrops, all the material runs… all those pigeons of Timmie’s…”
“No, Your Grace, I…” She didn’t recognize most of what He was referring to. She knew that He had called her between her duties for tasks beyond her knowledge and understanding (and beyond what her memories could recall) … but the pigeons? “Please, think nothing of it all. These were tasks You had called me to do.” She knelt in respect. “If You would but call upon your humble servant again, I would follow your every command without hesitation.”
“Sara, please,” there was something in His voice- surprise? Confusion? “You don’t need to kneel in front of me. Uh… Rise. Please.” She complied and He visibly sighed in relief. Was there something she was missing? He glanced over His shoulder. “They’re going to start searching for me soon,” He mumbled. “I should go soon, but first–”
He stepped forward and, before she could react, grabbed her and pulled her in close. Kujou Sara had found herself blessed to have had contact with the Shogun before, but she could have never considered the possibility of the events in front of her.
The Creator, Author of All Joys and Sorrows, held her gently as He kissed her on her cheek.
In that moment, she wondered if her current desire for eternity, to disentangle and remove time from this very moment, outmatched that of the Shogun’s.
Just as quickly as He approached, He pulled back. “I’m sorry to cut this short,” He turned to leave, waving as he went, “I hope to see you again soon!”
Sara’s hand rose of its own accord, first to attempt to wave back, then to caress the spot where He had set a kiss on her. A warmth blossomed in her chest- pride, embarrassment, respect for The Creator, she let her feelings burn through her.
…She turned back to her path. How many steps had she taken?
==
Shika flinched as she heard the sharp crack behind herself. Cleaning under the Guji’s watchful eye was always a stressful chore- one could never tell where her eyes were, in truth. She risked turning around and checking on the priestess’s condition.
Yae Miko sat in her usual place, eyes closed and a concentrated, furious look across her face. Her slowly closing hand was empty but covered in tea; the same drink splashed all over her lap. What could have made her so upset? Was it related to that shadowy fox the other shrine maidens had seen heading towards Tenshukaku Palace?
“Shika, darling.” The Guji’s voice made her flinch anew. “If you’re going to stand and stare, the least you could do is clean as well.”
“I-I’m sorry, I–!”
Yae sighed. “Please, save your excuses. If you’ll excuse me, I must find a change of attire. If you perform poorly in your tasks, I might be able to procure some roast crow for you.”

My team!
Noelle
Hu tao
Kujou Sara
Sayu
Tumblr media
Note: Hello Hello~!
Team Comp: Noelle, Hu tao, Kujou Sara and Sayu
Team Comps Request list: Status: Closed
Sara didn't remember how many times she sighed after she was placed on this team. She didn't get Hu tao’s eccentricities really and occasionally found them annoying. But as long as the girl was serious in her fights it wasn't like she could complain here. Sayu that girl is always sleepy and when you are gone the girl would always hide away sleeping instead of training but Sara knew the girl’s potential, helping them in their time of need with healing and such. Noelle is the only girl that Sara respected to a high standard when she heard about the girl’s training regiment.
Really that day was the day when all the soldiers under Sara started to suffer so much. Sara had asked Noelle for a list of things that she does for training so that Sara could pass it to the soldiers telling them it was their new workout. It was for the sake of the Raiden shogun and you, after all, she has much faith in her soldiers that when they become strong they too could protect you.
But really the team is a mess sometimes, when Hu Tao would try to drag Noelle into the crazy things that she does and occasionally when you are not there and the team gets into trouble Sayu isn't there to help with healing and support when Noelle couldn't. Sara sighed again, but at least... at least they are serious when you are around.

please please please please pleaseeeeeeeeeeee continue the sagau, its so good!!!!!!!!
Hnggg okay since y’all asked nicely, here’s the next part (pt 1 here) that I originally had partially written. This is legit the rest of it, so I have no more prepped after this. It’s Dottore Centric since I was originally supposed to cycle through most of the harbingers, and is such mild yandere I hesitated as even tagging it as such.
Doctor’s Orders (on your knees before me) - SAGAU ft. Dottore (pt 2)
After being brought back to the Tsaritsa’s Zapolyarny Palace, a familiar doctor is put in charge of your health. Happily, he takes on the role, and you learn a bit why the world loves you, and why the people hate you.
cws: allusions to temporary death, mild yandere, fading memories of a past life.
700 words
~~~
As it turns out, not letting the creator, well, be the creator leads to adverse side effects. Abnormal ley line flows, early deaths, and an unprecedented amount of power given to Celestia. Something Dottore explained to you in great—very confusing—lengths as he treated your hypothermia.
Huh.
You did not remember any of that from when you played the game.
Was the real world even real, or was this one the falsehood? You had a family and a life, for better or for worse.
Your skull began to ache whenever you thought of your home… logically you had a family, a world you hailed from, separated from your own. It faded from you, slowly, as if it was never even there to begin with. It was difficult to mourn it.
Dottore was speaking, you refocused your attention on him, as he strode over holding a hand out for your forearm, a syringe prepared for you. You gave it up easily.
“Creation, as we’ve found, is a hard task. After making a world, said creator often must rest for millennia. This gave Celestia time to attach to our world—to you—like a parasite. You should have awoken long ago. The archons were all expecting you to descend a few hundred years back. When you didn’t, the Tsaritsa’s war against Celestia began.”
“Ah.” Okay… sure. You’d accept that as fact for now. “What happens now that I’ve descended? Is this war against Celestia over then?”
“Hm? Oh, of course not. The Tsaritsa will personally drag Celestia down from their stolen thrones and gut them in your name, before returning their power to you.”
A violent, gleeful edge tinted his tone, then. Under his mask, a sharp smile spread as the thought crossed his mind. You paid it no attention, it was just the way he was.
“How are you so sure I’m the Creator? Others thought me to be an imposter of sorts.”
“How wouldn’t we?” Dottore laughed. “Your blood is gold, your deaths left the world weeping, the stars in your eyes shift to the constellation of whatever person you look at, and you know so much about each of us. Not to mention, we were the ones who awoke you.”
Your eyes immediately tore away from the syringe he was drawing blood with, shooting to him. “What?”
Dottore smiled, lips curling back to bare sharp teeth. “Oh, they didn’t tell you?”
“You couldn’t have awoken me.” You whispered, brow creasing. “I first appeared in Inazuma, where Kujou Sara killed me.”
The arrow was swift. After hours of wandering across familiar landscapes, the soft buzz of electro on your skin, wonder bright in your eyes. All that was cut short when the tengu woman shot you without hesitation. As you faded away, you heard her mangled scream as you bled gold.
“Awakened, not summoned. We could not control where you descended once your body awoke.”
You nodded. No wonder they were so… prepared to retrieve you, then. Brought back to the Tsaritsa’s palace, you were met with staff, a personal chamber, and every harbinger present to receive you. Even the Tsaritsa herself lowered herself from her icy throne to meet you.
You were very relieved that you met their unknown expectations for this ‘Creator’ you were expected to be.
You felt fingers on your chin, cold, the skin to skin contact separated by his sanitary gloves. He tilted your face up, locking eyes with yours, even if they were hidden by his mask.
He let out a soft, utterly enchanted sigh. “My creator.”
You brought your hand up, cupping his face in turn. Immediately, he slumped into it, like a cat, mumbling again; “My creator… my creator.”
You wondered if his eyes fluttering closed at your touch, if the slump of his shoulders, almost purring sigh, was due to your rank as creator. Was your very touch ecstasy?
His eyes remained closed when he next spoke. “The tsaritsa wishes for your presence, once you are medically cleared. It will be a little bit though. I guess you’ll just have to spend some time within my laboratory. Your health will be observed by me, of course.”
The way he said it, slightly cheeky, made you question if you actually were still sick. Alas, you were out of your depth, for now.
So, you drew back your hand, watching curiously as Dottore’s content look shifted to that of a small frown, lifting his head curiously. At his look of slight disgruntlement, you laughed a bit. “I’ll stay here, just for a few days.”
After all, you needed time to prepare to meet the Tsaritsa.
~~~
So this is all that has been prepped for the Sagau stuff, everything else is just passing thoughts. Thing is, SAGAU is way less popular, which means I read way less, and get less ideas. This is a very traditional SAGAU au tho and I’m happy people liked it!

to kill a god - sagau.

oh, how cold you were, awake on the dim floor of a cave. your body shivered and ached and you felt as if death lurked at every corner. how did you end up in a world you thought you'd love, only to find that teyvat was not as kind to outlanders as shown in game — especially not to those bearing the face of their "darling god"?
you didn't want to be here, not anymore. not after seeing the glares from people you idolized. not after being chased across the world the day you awoke in teyvat. not after being forced into this unknown place, now cold and starving, on the verge of death just to escape impending doom.

you knew you would die anyways, and you never liked life before, so why now? why are you running so fast, trying to hard, just to survive in a world where your perish is the hope of all citizens?
as you sobbed into your tattered clothes, thundering footsteps sounded from outside your little shelter. your eyes, though bloodshot, snapped upwards, fear clouding your vision. your head was pounding, and so was your chest. slowly, you rose to your shaking feet, backing up into the furthest corner of the cave as you covered your mouth.
your heart was thumping, racing so fast at the thought of fighting so hard to live. you weren't even doing anything but running. how cowardly, you ran do much, only to have your last day spent holed into a cave, sobbing until your eyes were red.
you fought so damn hard, so why? why did life persist on throwing its hardest obstacles your way?
yeah, you didn't exactly enjoy your life on earth — you had little friends, and your family was never around, so you would spend your days envying those more fortunate — but now? you'd kill to have your old life back.
your eyes widened at the realization, and soon, the outside world had drowned itself out.
a simple solution was brought into reality, and soon, you were running outside of your solitude, the gloomy and thundering skies welcoming your presence.
the leader of a small search party — you recognized her as kujou sara — turned to you at such a speed, you were worried they'd gain whipslash.
" there's the imposter! " kujou announced, pointing her bow at you. " capture them to bring to the shogun! her highness will be pleased to know that— "
your hair whipped and thrashed with the storms, and you felt the slits on your wrist opening with the harsh weather. it hurt, it hurt so so much, but you persevered, shutting her up as you took steps away from the cave.
" tell your beloved shogun, " you huffed, rushing to falcon's coast with the shogunate's behind you. your body ached, but you continued your fast trek, shouting to your pursuers, " that i'll meet her in hell! "
you stopped at the cliff, turning to stare at the tengu. her eyes widened, " you wouldn't dare— "
but without warning, you took a step off, closing your eyes as the wind increased tenfold. finally, you'd be free from this hell, and you wouldn't have to run anymore. their lovely god would remain untarnished, and you'd escape the agony.
slowly, you faded away from reality, tears slipping out of your eyes. glitter surrounded the tears, but your vision was too hazy to see it's sparkle.
the sparkle that was once in your eyes had faded as you shed your last tears. your body was numbing, why weren't you dead yet? your wrists ached more than ever, more than when the pain was first inflicted.
slowly, you smiled, eyes fluttering shut. your body fell limp, collapsing against the coarse sand of the shores. you heard heavy thumping from behind you, but you paid it no mind. finally, you were unbound, your ties to this world forever severed.
and etched into kujou sara's mind was the masterpiece of gold that was falcon coast — a masterpiece she'd witnessed created first-hand. a masterpiece born out of the anguish of her god.
"blood runs cold," they say, and for sara, that certainly was true, but for you? no, your blood runs gold.

MERA!!!! MERA MERA MERAAAA!!!! hear me outtttt!!!!!
yandere!idol!scara! imagine being one of idol! scara's biggest fans , having bought all his albums and merch, unaware that your oshi/bias is stalking you in the shadows. you are completely oblivious to the fact that your favorite idol, your very own oshi, is more obsessed with you than you are with him ... eubeheheheheheheheheheheeeee
it's important to note that he's the eldest son of a CEO, so he'd have all the money and status to keep your mysterious disappearance under wraps. just listen to him and you'll be fine. after all, isn't he your oshi?
AAAAAA YES YES YES ever since I saw this oshi no ko parody of Scara idol!Scara has been rotting my brain. Your concept feeds me so well omg!!!! <3
Imagine being such a dedicated fan, always using most of your paychecks to purchase merch and albums and even concert tickets. You adore him. He shines so brightly when he's on the stage, and his voice is the most beautiful melody you've ever heard. You memorize all of his songs, you try to follow his routines for exercise and eating well, and you've even had the blessing of attending one of his handshake events!! Even if it was only a few seconds, being able to look him in the eyes, shake his hand, and greet him in such an intimate proximity meant the world to you. You were so happy following that day that your coworkers were left wondering what happened for you to come to work in such a bubbly mood.
Unbeknownst to you, your idol makes it a mission to search for you amidst the crowd, even if he knows it may be impossible to spot you from afar. The day he shook your hand was also a special moment for him. He's only ever watched you from the shadows, admiring you as you go about your daily life, so being able to touch you, to see you so closely, to hear your voice as it addresses him and only him... You make him so happy and you don't even know it! One of his songs was even written with you in mind. You inspire him, you give him life, you give him feelings he's never known he was capable of feeling before. He's hopelessly, dangerously in love with you, his fan, and you're hopelessly, adoringly in love with him, your idol.
Scara doesn't shine so brightly behind closed doors when he's following the whims of his obsession. On the stage, he's Scaramouche, a star who can effortlessly charm with his beautiful vocals and sweet smile. He's a great actor, enthralling the crowd with a wink or a twirl or well-calculated sarcasm. Fans adore it. They love the divide between sweet and sour, and he does both so flawlessly. But beyond that, he's just Kunikuzushi, eldest son of the business magnate Ei. With so much wealth and success, one would think he'd be in paradise. But Kuni's always so hollow inside, so lonely and sad. He pushes these feelings away and tells himself he's better off alone, but when he's following you home late at night he feels so whole. Suddenly his lonely life doesn't feel so terrible when he knows you're in it. Suddenly he thinks it's okay to be alone as long as he's alone with you and only you.
Ei never polices what he does. It's much the same for his sister Raiden. They're free to do as they please, as she's too busy running such a large, expansive business with her Vice President Yae Miko and secretary Kujou Sara to bother with the lives of her children. But Kuni doesn't care. He doesn't need to be coddled or loved. He just needs to drown in you, in your life, in your interests and hobbies. He's certain that, if he were to steal you away for himself, you wouldn't mind it because you're his fan. You'll forgive him because you love and support him, won't you? After all, it's every fan's dream to be recognized by their idol.
He won't subject you to a terrible life either. He lives in a very expensive penthouse on the highest floor, and it has all kinds of luxurious, comforts. It overlooks the city; he's almost like a god when he peers down at the streets below, where people are free to look up but can never reach his level. You can live up here with him, isolated from the world and its horrors, and only know of him. He's all you'll need because he can provide for you in ways normal people can't. He's so certain you'll accept this way of life, and even if you don't it's not like you can go anywhere. Not that he cares much for reputations, but his entire career will shatter if you escape and try to get him in trouble. He might even be taken away from you, and that's more scary than a reputation in shambles.
Besides, he has more money than he knows what to do with. And for the right price, he can control anyone, even the authorities you seem to have so much faith in. :)

do u have crumbs of any of your au's to spare? 🤲 it could be au lore, character lore, little random tidbits of info - any teeny weeny little crumb. I am on my deathbed and having yester withdrawal symptoms and the only thing that can save me is your au fanservice blurbs
well! not lore drops but i have been thinking of starting another au which is witch! genshins and their specialized fields. i love funky magic yanderes. i've also thought of a fun character for the mc, who is just absolutely dead and numb to magic that the yandere could be pouring a whole love potion in their cup in front of them that they'll just sit and stare blankly. idk, i'll probably work on it after i finish up my other aus.
anyways! here's some lore drops for the academy au bc i miss those homicidal students!:
most of zhongli's former batchmates (ningguang, beidou, lisa, jean, etc) are quite amused that he used to be the student council president and at how much he's changed. he used to be a big, gruff delinquent, after all. ningguang, in particular, likes to tease him about it whenever they meet.
third year fem students are: candace, dehya, eula, keqing, ganyu, kujou sara, navia, rosaria, faruzan
2nd year students: amber, ayaka, charlotte, hutao. kirara, kokomi, layla, lynette, nilou, sucrose, shenhe, yoimiya, yunjin, yanfei
1st year students: barbara, noelle, xiangling, xinyan, fischl, collei, furina
graduates (zhongli's batch): beidou, jean, ningguang, lisa, nahida (💀), yae miko, yelan, raiden miko and ei.
although venti's the same age as zhongli, he entered school a year later.
neuvillette is the same batch as zhongli and has graduated! the two have a very tense relationship.
the current student council president is keqing. ganyu is the secretary-general. other student council members are: aether (first year representative), navia (second years representative), there is no representative for third years because childe started dissing venti onine and zhongli declined the nomination.
furina's age is around the third years' age but because of her acting career had to stop her education for two years.
the people currently competing for valedictorian is zhongli, keqing, and faruzan. kaveh was once in the running but his grades began to drop halfway through the year. baizhu could be in the running if it wasn't for his abysmal pe grades.
nahida was last years' valedictorian. and no, she has not skipped any grades.

Introducing myself
Well this feels awkward •ᴗ•
I rarely make posts like these on any website but hey I gotta start somewhere, and having a blog was something that always interested me. Be it a hobby or something I can professionaly work with. And I do love yapping. So that's a big plus
Not but fr, who am I you might ask? Why am I introducing myself to the tumblr void?
Truth be told I am a silly little writer. Currently I post on A03 since I am hyperfixated on Genshin Impact, and I love love love writing. In fact I have wrote a couple of series now. Word count can reach up to 150k words. Crazy stuff.
Here are some fics I wrote that you might recognize or enjoy if you feel like looking into them!
A Puppet's Heart series
A series of 3 main books and one extra short fic, focused on Scaramouche x reader, sprinkle of Cynonari, and exploring friendships/tension between Wanderer, Cyno, Collei and Tighnari
Canon-compliant
<𝟑 The main 3 stories:
Lotus and it's Thorns
Blossom of the Divine
The Withered in Bloom
<𝟑 Extras/short fics (be warned that the second one is a smut)
1. Dendrobiums and Mourning Flowers
2. Darling (Don't order me around)
You can read the series here: Click me
A Loving Promise Series
A work-in-progress series, focused on Childe x reader, in which Childe is a bit yandere (ok maybe a lot yandere) and forced marriage is a big thing. Childe's lore is very impactful here, especially abyss stuff
Canon-compliant, will have multiple parts of the series
The Main story:
Ornament of Heart
You can read the series here: Click me
The Ghost of Inazuma
A standalone fic, focused on Kazuha x Kazuha's friend (Tomo) and detective Heziou. In this one Kazuha has a side-hustle as an assassin and things get very heated when the Tenryou comission starts hunting him down. Heizou is among them, of course, as a lead detective
You can the book here: Click me
Ambush and Revenge
A short whump fic centered around Heizou and the dangers of his job. He gets ambushed and hurt, and explores a bit of Heizou's friendship with Kujou Sara
You can read the fic here: Click me
Murder and Drama - A Midnight Case
A short detective fic about Heizou and the Arataki Gang, mostly focused on humor (wow me not writing hardcore angst?? shocker). The Arataki Gang gets framed for murder and Heizou has to solve the case with Itto's brilliant help (Itto lies when he is nervous).
You can read the fic here: Click me
In conclusion
As you can see I write a lot and yapp a lot, and if you enjoy my writing feel free to follow my tumblr blog. I want to write more and am thinking about opening comissions. So if you enjoy my writing style and ideas I would be more than happy to take requests! I generally have a lot of ideas/headcannons and thoughts to share about Genshin and their characters, even if its not related to my fics. Always happy to discuss stuff with people so don't be scared to share your thoughts or questions!
That is all for now! Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction <3

Our Love Will Never Die; Ayaka x Multiple (Thoma, Kazuha, NPC)
CHAPTER ONE
In the heart of Chinju forest lay the abode of the Kamisato Clan. They’d been there for centuries, establishing a strong influence over the Yashiro commission. After the demise of Lord and Lady Kamisato, Ayato Kamisato, the elder of the two Kamisato siblings was crowned as the Lord of the Household and the Yashiro Commissioner. Inside the estate sat a council of ministers, surrounding the Lord Kamisato. The topic of discussion; the future of the Kamisato Clan. Very precisely; the issue of Lady Kamisato’s marriage in order to produce heirs. The council members had brought in several prospects. One of the most contested ones was General Gorou of Watatsumi Island. His influence spread all across Watatsumi and him and Ayato had become close friends over the war as Ayato had secretly aided the resistance. Priestess Kokomi had taken a vow of chastity which meant that a match between her and Ayato was impossible. Which made General Gorou the next best prospect. This idea was however rejected as it did not make much sense logistically and the people of Watatsumi would never accept the influence of the Kamisatos especially through marriage. The second option was to wed her to Sasaki Hiiragi of the Hiiragi Clan. The heir to the Hiiragi clan and the overseer of the port of Ritou. Marriage there would create a stronghold. But Ayato figured that the Hiiragis were a weaker clan and a political marriage would be wasted on them. All Ayato needed to do was bide his time and wait for them to be in need of financial assistance. That’s how he’d reel them in. Someone suggested the Raiden Shogun herself but this idea did not even make it to the table. The Shogun had no need for a marriage of convenience. And Ayato’s goal was to spread the influence of the Kamisato family over Inazuma. They finally settled on Kamaji Kujou, the new leader of the Kujou Clan. Their clan had been in turmoil since the Vision Hunt Decree ended. They’d jump at a chance to marry Lady Ayaka. And then Ayato would have them eating out of his palm. He smiled in contentment as the council members made further arrangements to further this marriage agreement.
Lord Ayato stood tall over six feet and had a stern and menacing presence. When he spoke his entire council would fall silent. Though no older than 20 himself, he held a strong influence over the political matters of Inazuma. But his ambition was to never stop. He’d never stop until he had all of Inazuma in his palms. Lady Ayaka Kamisato was a woman grown at the sweet age of 21. Though younger than Lord Ayato, she handled the affairs of the Kamisato Household and was a warrior skilled beyond her years. She had already bested Lord Ayato in combat and he respected her in that sense, holding her in equal regard as himself. Lady Ayaka was described as ladylike and polite but she was also strong headed, independent and was known to always speak her mind. Lady Ayaka; the only person missing from her own marriage proposal meeting. She was off, as always doing what she liked. She was down in one of the foothills under the Narukami shrine, her skirt hiked up to her waist. She was bent over, back arched and on her hands and knees, the jacket of her dress ripped off and her corset pulled down leaving her breasts to hang out. Moans escaped her mouth as the blonde thrusted into her with great speed. Here she was again, sowing her oats with Chief Retained Thoma again. It had been on going thing for the past two years. She had seen him first when he arrived at the estate, a tall blonde man with a bright red Vision. His accent suggested he was from Mondstadt and he was asking Ayato for a job. Her brother had hired her and ever since then Thoma had dutifully taken care of the Kamisato household. Her obsession of him had grown immensely and the only thing she thought about was him, day and night. Almost every night she’d find herself thinking about him and would have to relieve her wetness with her fingers. One night when she couldn’t take it anymore, she summoned him to her room. How cluelessly he had walked in. “Are you having trouble sleeping, My Lady? Shall I brew some tea?” he had asked. She had stood in front of him, fully naked, her wet cunt and perky breasts on display. It had positively scandalised him. “Thoma,” she rasped, “Come serve me,” she sauntered over to him. “Deflower me and make me yours.” She whispered tracing a wet kiss down his cheek. He had obliged and they hadn’t kept their hands off each other ever since. They’d fuck almost every night; either in her quarters or his. Sometimes when the staff had been ushered off to handle commission work, he’d fuck her right in the yard. They had fucked on the very tables where political strategies would be thrown about. They’d do it in forests, by lakes, by the riverside. Anywhere that they could. Their passion burned like ice and fire, their Visions always burned brightly when they’d be entangled with one another. Same as now, Ayaka’s knees scrapped against the ground as Thoma rammed into her from behind with great intensity. “Did you hear?” he said between breaths. “Your brother is wedding you to Kamaji.” Thoma said. Ayaka scoffed. “Could you not talk about me being another man’s wife while you’re still inside me?” She replied. In response he began fucking her even harder. Ayaka moaned his name like a prayer. This was the best pleasure she’d ever received. The way he’d tear into her walls. She felt him tighten soon and knew he was going to cum. Her own dam burst soon enough and she squirted her juices all over his dick which he kept pumping into her. Soon after he came all over her thighs, a feeling Ayaka relished. Fucked out and spent, she turned over and lay on his stomach as he lay down in the grass. She traced circles on his chest absent mindedly as shethought about what he had said. “Will you do it? Will you marry him?” Thoma finally asked. “I have no choice in this matter,” she replied, “If Ayato wants me wed to him, then wed to him I will be.” They lay there in silence, basking in each other’s company, considering the possibility that this maybe the last time they could experience it.
The wedding preparations were in full swing and the entire city was abuzz with the news of their union. Ayaka had approached Ayato earlier to make a request. “Brother, you decided it was best to wed me to Kamaji and I agreed. I have always done my duty to you and this house. I only ask for one thing in return.” “What is it you what?” Ayato quizzed. Ayaka huffed. “Give me Thoma. I will take him with me to the Kujou household. I feel safe having him around.” Ayato considered her request for quite some time before finally agreeing. Soon the day would come when she married Kamaji Kujou in the Narukami Shrine. She saw him there for the first time. He was no older than 25 himself and a plain and simple man. So very plain. Ayaka tried not to roll her eyes too hard. Yae Guuji had officiated the ceremony and they were wed before the council of tree lords. Yae had sauntered over to her slyly and slipped her a powder. “It’s a potion. Helps with performance…in the bedroom.” she winked and left. Ayaka entered the household of the Kujous. Her hand entangled with Kamaji’s, her new Lord Husband. Thoma trailed behind silently, his head hung low like a dutiful servant. Behind all three of them trailed Kujou Sara, watching them like hawk. Kamaji stopped before the estate and turned to Sara. “General Kujou, please show Thoma to the kitchens. Since he has been appointed as our new Chief Retainer he must familiarise himself with the duties.” Sara nodded and led Thoma away. Ayaka entered their shared chambers as Kamaji shut the door behind him. Now was the difficult part; bedding this poor old fool. On their bedside were two flutes of wine which Ayaka graciously accepted. Kamaji down the entire flute in two sips before setting it down. Ayaka softly huffed before disrobing herself lightly, her undergments still on. She climbed into bed, urging him to do so as well. He climbed in, stumbling a bit but finally regaining his posture. He kissed her sloppily, trying to undo the straps of her undergarments. She laid down underneath him as he went to work, hoping that it’d just end sooner or enough. “My lady,” he slurred. She looked up at him, tense wondering if he was alright. Suddenly, he went limp and collapsed on top of her with a plop. Alarmed she tried pushing him off and on his back, trying to resuscitate him. He had passed out and from god knows what. The door to their chambers opened slightly and a slender figure sauntered in. “Thoma! Something’s wrong with him!” she said. “I know, my love.” His voice was as cool as ice. She cocked her head at him. “Just a mild sedative. He’ll be fine in the morning.” “Wh…” Ayaka trailed off as realisation dawn on her. “Now you didn’t think I’d just stand by and watch as he bedded you, now did you?”
Ayaka plopped Kamaji on the ground lightly before giggling as Thoma climbed on top of her. There she was, consummating on her wedding night. But with a man who was not her husband

Oooh~ can we get Yandere Ei and Yandere Yae miko x reader headcanons~ seperate please
I'll start with Yae Miko for now- I'm finally trying to finish Inzazuma's storyline so I really hope I can make this work.
If she's OOC, I apologize. I still need to get better at writing Genshin and I can take tips 😥
Possible spoilers for Genshin Impact's Inazuma storyline.
Yandere! Yae Miko Concept
Pairing: Romantic/Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Stalking, Kidnapping, Threats, Manipulation, Implied murder, Protective behavior, Slight possessive behavior.
Tumblr media
Yae Miko is a very mysterious individual and yandere.
She's a kitsune and used to be a close friend of the Raiden Shogun.
Wielder if Electro powers, she spends a lot of her time in The Grand Narukami Shrine as Guuji.
Despite this, she's somehow always where she needs to be to help someone in exchange for something
If you catch her attention she shows interest.
There's a good chance she'll know nearly everything about you while you know nearly nothing about her.
The kitsune has various opinions on humans.
They have such trivial arguments and she thinks of them pitiful and foolish at times.
Although, sometimes humanity peaks Yae's interest.
The Traveler is one of these examples.
You are the other.
Your origin doesn't peak her interest much in this case.
A friend of The Traveler, a merchant, or a poor Inazuma citizen...
The list could go on.
No, what matters to her is the fact you visit her shrine so often.
Your response is so cute to her for a human.
You find the shrine calming, a place for renewal.
You comment on the blossoms that surround it, how the air buzzes softly due to the Electro energy in the air...
In your mind... it gives you the most comfort in Inazuma.
Yae Miko finds your reasoning silly.
Sometimes humans are funny creatures.
Despite this, she welcomes you to her shrine.
You treat it and her with respect, so respect you'll get.
Similar to Kujou Sara you are a frequent visitor.
Nearly everyday you stop by to chat.
At first Yae Miko just had a mutual respect towards you.
Although soon she starts to grow a strange fascination towards you.
The familiar often humors herself with you while you visit the shrine.
She sometimes offers you books as she owns the Yae Publishing House and has an adoration of books.
Trust her, you'll enjoy the novels she picks.
She also enjoys a few pranks with you.
Her excuse is that if you want to be around so often, you have to indulge her in her antics at times.
Her yandere behavior is Manipulative, Protective, Possessive, and Obsessive.
She isn't sadistic and is more of a guardian.
Partly due to being a familiar-
The closest she gets is mischevious with her behavior rather than sadistic.
Harming you does not bring the kitsune joy.
Yae Miko is simply playful towards her darling.
She is a kitsune which does make her manipulative.
But she does it both for your interest and hers.
Yae Miko feels since she's so interested in you she should try to keep you alive and well.
If you aren't happy by her side? Well... you'll learn to.
The human mind is very fragile.
Yae Miko is a very observing yandere.
It's hard to tell her origins and she seems to know a ton about her darling.
After all, she'd be a poor guardian over you and her shrine if she didn't do her research, wouldn't she?
Her darling may not know she's a kitsune without the proper research.
That glow in her eyes is haunting, however.
Yae Miko also harbors protective feelings towards her darling.
She wants to keep those she cares for safe, even if she is blunt with them.
The kitsune would prove to be intimidating when protecting her newest curiosity.
She's strong and not many would get very far with opposing her.
Most of the time she likes to keep you at the shrine.
You like it there anyways, right?
If not, she always seems to hover close and keep and eye on you.
If you're in danger then she'll be there to help you.
Strangely it's nearly everytime-
At times, Yae Miko can be seen as possessive.
She eyes those around you with judgement, purple eyes scanning them to see if she needs to step in.
She doesn't want you bothered by visitors if you don't need to be.
Yae Miko also seems like the type who'd say threats so calmly it's terrifying.
She may even giggle afterwards.
It's amazing how you can get such reactions from humans with just a few words.
Yae Miko wouldn't necessarily kidnap.
She may encourage you more and more to her shrine, though.
If you stopped coming, however...
She finds herself stalking you to see what's wrong.
Only then would she maybe kidnap you.
Perhaps if you two fought or something she'd be a bit more forceful.
Murder is something she's in the middle with.
She probably could do it, she just finds threats and tricks more entertaining.
If she did trap you in the shrine with her, she acts rather patronizing.
If she kidnapped you it was for a reason.
You pushed her a bit too far.
No need to worry, in her eyes at least, she'll take care of you.
You always did find the shrine calming...
So hopefully you won't try/need to leave it anymore, right?

Hello, it's me again! As "requested" I would like to submit another request in your current event, if there is still some space left for it, please! :) Yandere Kazuha 🍂 🐝
Title: Threw Caution Into the Wind
Character(s): Kazuha (Genshin Impact) Summary: You found him wounded and decided to help him. You took him to your house and tried your best to patch him up. Maybe you shouldn't have done that. Warnings/tags: General yandere themes, gn!reader, gaslighting and manipulation, a little over 900 words
[ - A little present~! Event - Closed - ]
Tumblr media
You wondered what happened to him. That man who you helped, a wanderer. You found him wounded deep within the forest. Wounded and in pain, in your conscience, it was hard to ignore such a person. You took him to your house, a small one as you lived alone, and tried your best to heal the man, but called a village doctor when you realized how severe it actually was.
Many expressed worry over you when they found out that you housed a stranger, saying they were willing to help if you ever needed it but you told them that it was fine.
The man was a respectful person you thought after you got to know him more. He woke up quickly and was surprised at where he was, expressing thanks to you when you explained the whole situation on how he got here. To thank you for healing him and your kindness for letting him stay while his wounds healed he tried to help you around the house. You tried to stop him at first but he was stubborn and wouldn't take no for an answer and after a while, you would let him deem that his wound was healed enough to do some easy task in the house.
He was a kind guy.
But you also remember how much it got out of hand.
You remembered how clingy he had become the more you spent time with him. He relied on you for affection and comfort, a longing for something in the past that maybe he seemed to miss. The closer the two of you got the more he acted like a clinging friend while a little cute but strange at first… later he acted almost like a lover. Yet even when you ever brought it up he would act as if it wasn't the case, sometimes making you question why you thought that it was the case or change the conversation naturally. It made you feel weird and question your mind and thoughts while he continued to get closer to you.
You didn't know how to feel when he placed his hand over your, the slight blush in his face. You were uncomfortable as he told you his beautiful dreams that were once rare before meeting you. He acted like you were rope, which he desperately clung to knowing that when he let go he would break but you just didn't understand why.
You wondered how far can this make belief go. How far can he go with these thoughts, wondered how long this would go and how long till either one of you snaps. You wanted to speak about it to someone, tell your thoughts. But you knew that Kazuha knew more than he let on that he could hear the wind and understand somehow. It was weird how he told you many things, that time you were so focused on his well-being and being there for this broken person and you never really stopped to think.
In a sense you were unconsciously scared.
However, you didn't need to wonder for long when Kujou Sara came looking to see you. Somehow you knew she was looking for Kazuha. As much as you were worried and if not scared for your situation you could not turn a blind eye and watch as a broken man be taken away. Even if his eyes were so love-sick they were also desperate, you thought that once he was gone everything would turn back to normal and that this would be your one last act of kindness towards him.
Running to your home, opening the doors you saw that Kazuha had disappeared and gone like the wind… as if he was never there.
The general interrogated you yet somehow you managed to leave, Kujou Sara found you suspicious when you told them that you didn't know he was a wanted man, and seeing how far this village was from the city it could happen that news did not reach. So they let you go, they didn't have any evidence so in the end you were freed.
You thought that this was the end of this chaotic story, you thought that Kazuha would have left Inazuma and choose never to come back, could never come back. You thought that you could go back to your normal life, the daily routine that you took for granted in the past when Kazuha came felt almost like a comfort. You thought that this was the end.
Yet it was not… You should have been more cautious when you heard that the Sakoku decree and the Vision Hunt decree were abolished. That those who have been falsely accused could come back and that Kazuha was one of them. You thought that he would not come back, that maybe he had a life outside Inazuma now if not that and he came back… why come back here in this small village when he could go back to what he had before.
You should have been more careful but it was too late as you walked down the forest near the village. The gentle wind blew a little harder than before. You were surprised as you covered your face with your hand to prevent the dust from coming to your eyes. You didn't see him… but you heard him. It was like the sudden wild wind made a tunnel for his voice to reach you loud and clear. Your heart froze, you didn't want to move in fear that this might be reality and not a dream.
Your name so lovingly called by him and as the winds stop and you step back, your breath stops, staring at those love-sick red eyes only forever meant for you.
He came back for you.
