Anyone who sees you and Reki together will immediately argue that the two of you are soulmates.

You both fit like peas in a pod, mutually loving and supporting each other no matter the issue. So, when you suddenly distanced yourself from him, Reki was instantly concerned.

His attempts to keep his daily life at bay failed, for he was only worried about you and what was eating you.

Mr. Oka noticed, telling him to take a few days off. So, he hung out at Sia La Luce during the evenings. He met with his friends, mind swimming.

Langa and Miya noticed, asking him if he had been taking care of himself. Shadow noticed, offering to fight whoever Reki needed him to. Finally, Joe and Cherry noticed, the pink-haired male cutting into the thick tension.

“Reki, what could be causing you so much stress?”

“(Y/N).” He answered breathlessly, taking his head through his hands, “They’ve disappeared on me. I haven’t spoken to them in about three days, and I’m just so worried about them I-“

“I saw them yesterday.” Langa interrupted suddenly, “They were at our spot in the park last night. I tried to say hi, but they ignored me. If I’m being honest, they’re probably there again tonight.”

Reki’s eyes widened as he jumped out of his seat, immediately looking to Joe for permission.

“Go, Kiddo. I’ll keep your plate warm.” The man said, wrapping the boy in a jacket.

Reki wasted no time grabbing his own jacket, in the event that you would need one, and raced to the park on his skateboard. To his relief, you were exactly where Langa said you were.

“(Y/N)!” He called, sprinting toward you, “Sweetheart, hey, can you hear me?”

You look up at him, shivering violently with tears in your eyes. Your boyfriend carefully placed the jacket on your shoulders. He sat down on the bench next to you, “I’m here when you’re ready to talk to me, love.”

Instead of talking, you simply fell forward into his chest and let out all of your lamentations. Reki held you securely, rubbing the top of your head with one hand, and holding your waist with another. “I’ve got you, I’ve got you. It’s alright.” He whispered.

Your love held you as you finally were able to cry out all of the pent up troubles. You inevitably stained his signature yellow hoodie, but he couldn’t give two shits right now.

“Reki I-I’m… I’m so sorry,” you whimpered.

“There’s nothing to be sorry about.” Your boyfriend reassured you, “Keeping stuff inside will just tear you apart eventually.”

“I- I don’t.. I don’t know if im ready…” you whisper in reply.

“Then don’t be. I have as long as you need.”

After a few more minutes of quiet reassurance, you were finally ready to tell Reki of your week.

“M-My family…” you began, “They’re uh.. heh, being themselves again.”

“I see.”

“I just don’t really want to be here anymore.” You admit. “I-I hate who I am. I can’t stomach a single thing. Even the thought of eating makes me so sick. You shouldn’t be here, I don’t want you to be burdened with taking care of me.”

“(Y/N), sweetie-pie, there’s no place I’d rather be.” Reki replied with a gentle smile, “If it means that I can get you to acknowledge that how you’re feeling is okay, I’ll stay with you till infinity.”

“I want you to know first and foremost, that I love you to the moon and back. There isn’t a thing about you that I would change, and I hope that one day I can help you see that. You are the most incredible person I’ve ever met, that’s precisely why I’ve fallen so in love with you.”

“I want you here by my side until we’re both old and wrinkly, playing card games in a nursing home.” This comment got a watery chuckle out of you.

“I love you, Reki.” You replied, wiping your tears.

“I love you too, (Y/N). You’re so amazing, and I wish you could see yourself through my eyes. You’re worth so much more than you think you are, and there’s just something about you that makes me love you so much more every time I see you. It will get better, I promise you. We’re not going to be stuck here forever, the clock will continue to run.”

“Now, if you’re feeling up to it, I can ask Joe to make you something very light at Sia La Luce, so you can join us for dinner. If not, you are more than welcome to come home with me. We can watch that one video compilation of the cats that you love so much.”

Regardless of your decision for dinner, you opted to join Reki at Joe’s restaurant. You were very pleased to see everyone, especially after a very enthusiastic hug from little Miya(who promptly let go and muttered insults along the lines of “stupid slime, making me worry”).

It would be a long journey to self love and re-discovery. But, you knew in your heart that if Reki was by your side, there’s nothing that you couldn’t do.

Hello everyone and thank you for following and / or lurking ! I am REKI, I am a 29 year old female, with two jobs and three cats, who has been roleplaying for a few years. This is an INDEPENDENT & SELECTIVE blog and is meant for a 21+ AUDIENCE. TRIGGER THEMES ARE PRESENT AND WILL BE TAGGED ! RULES, LAWS, IMPORTANT STUFFS.FIRST AND FORMOST! I love ALL pairings. I will not tolerate any hatred towards any character.

1) These rules are subject to change.

2) There will be no hate messages on this blog. Meaning if I get sent a hate message it will just get deleted. I will not waste my time brooding over your message so you are just wasting your time typing it up.

3) No god modding. Understandably my characters can’t win EVERY single battle and will not win everything. I usually like taking a few and then your character takes a few. I will always, ALWAYS, come to you and ask how the end of the fight will turn out that way I can write accordingly.

4) Writing. I don’t expect a novel back if I write a novel, and sometimes I do. However, I do expect something to work with, please do not respond back to me if I leave you with a detailed post only for you to give me a one liner, it just kills the mood. – In addition! If you would like to respond to an ask please link the ask on a fresh new post, and tag me just in case, that way it looks more appealing. I do that with other roleplayers. C:

5) Original Characters. I love original characters, I personally suck at writing and developing them so for all of you original characters out there I applaud you. However, please don’t use me to come up for ideas of your original character, that’s not my job. If you like for a starter please understand that I will be staring at your character about page for a long, long, long time. It’s a little difficult for me to write for an original character so please be patient!

6) Ships. Here we go … This is a huge one for a lot of people. I am a Multi-shipper or trash – I’ll accept either lol. You are free to jump in my inbox or IM me and be like “Hey baby. You and my muse * suggestive eyebrow wiggle*”. I will most likely be like “FUCK YES LETS GO!” and bam! We ship. But here is my problem with most people: I have a lot of ships that I absolutely adore however, if you don’t like the ship me and my roleplay partner are doing you can either unfollow or shut the fuck up and ignore it, black list it – whatever. I’m saying that in the nicest way possible. I’m tired of people complaining that they “Hate this ship but I saw it and read it so now I’ll bitch on my blog about it.” Calm down, grow up and again, unfollow that person or ignore the post. Plain and simple or else you’ll probably be hearing about it from me. I have been in too many fandoms where this goes on.

7) Exclusives/Relationships. I am a-ok and more than happy to exclusively ship when it comes to main ideas and plot, but please remember that I am only one person and I do like interacting with other people. Exclusives doesn’t mean you own me in anyway. Exclusives to me normally mean that you are a close friend and most likely already have my discord. The more was talk IC or OOC the more likely I will pick you as an exclusive for main plots.

8) Reblogging when you have no permission. During my time of roleplaying on many sites tumblr is probably the worst for this rule. Anyone who reblogs threads, asks or any other communication between my partners that they are not tagged in will be kindly asked to delete the post. If not deleted within 24 hours you will be blocked from my page and I will not remove it.

9) Nsfw. Is only available for people who are of age and adults. I am 29 and I do not take light of being tricked when it comes to age. I will be asking your age if it is not in your mun section or anywhere visible, I will not be held liable if you are lying to me. You MUST be of legal age, please ask if you are interested in rping nsfw.

10) Personal Tags & Passwords. I don’t do personal tags or passwords. Final answer, if you follow me then it means you understand that I will NOT be tagging any personal tags.

11) Triggers. I don’t expect people to tag my trigger mainly because it only happens around Halloween time. I understand people are in the spirit but I absolutely hate seeing scary things pop out at me. It leads me to paranoia and I just can’t sleep at night. Anything paranormal I can’t handle, which is why I can’t watch scary movies. If I do see this on my dash it does lead to an unfollow, but not a block.

The way that argument went? The way the reason seemed so stupid at first but then turned out to have a root cause all this time? Not wanting to lose a loved one again omg? Also although mine were childish I've had many fights with my cousins too even though I didn't actually want to be that mad at him anyway like- omg I cannot

The way you handled the emotions? It's so good??? The pain the frustrations the guilt- the feeling of shame and feeling small- the feeling of wanting to go back again and wishing it could all be 'normal'? the sadness and angst of everything??? was portrayed so good? it was so accurate?? like I felt like I was watching everything go down in real time live action like I literally just walking walked into their fucking house ohmygodd???

and on langa too of all people? the way you made his emotions seem natural tho is so amazing?? like it never felt like all of those emotions were being pushed on him for the sake of plot- it felt like a real human being- real people struggles- its just so right? like the dialogues for all of them were so in character too? the whole thing feels so natural that this feels like its already literally canon??

the way langa is written in this,,,, reminds me of a friend of mine? langa the character himself already reminded me of them for multiple many reasons but? this?? this fic??? oh my god,,,, im literally crying bawling shitting tears streaming down my face,, i cant say a lot because its personal but just imagine me in a puddle of tears ok? ok

I saw some pretty hot takes on Eden lately and I just needed to vent.

I don't understand why Eden is /this/ badly received by the fandom (the whole fandom, even from Adam fans), and that, if you ship Eden, you must do it in secret or attach a post scriptum to say that yes, you ship Eden but, like, in a toxic relationship interpretation.

I have a very long history of shipping toxic and unhealthy age gaps ships, and I absolutely love this kind of dynamics if written correctly. I made my fair share of posts in the past rambling about the proper way to portray unhealthy relationships and not romanticise them (as well as saying that liking bad in fiction doesn't equal to condoning it in canon but we're not even in this territory with sk8).

However, that's not the case with Eden. We could argue that the relationship kind of starts like this (but it's up to discussion, in my opinion) but how it becomes post canon is the farthest from that kind of dynamics. I could understand where this is coming from from someone who doesn't like Adam and makes him to be Everything Bad That's On Earth, but I also see this kind of reaction from Adam's fans and it's a bit weird to me.

It's clear that Adam has romantic, arguably sexual, feelings for Langa. He makes it very clear during the course of the show and also in post-canon material (i.e. referring to the sk8 six group as "Langa and the (5) others" twice). I saw some people saying that Eden relies on an Adam's interpretation that it's not supported by canon, but I feel like these interactions and banters (VA event, DVD package box, him still showering Langa with flowers in the post credit scene) show otherwise.

Moving onto Langa, since I also saw a lot of people surprised that, wow, Langa seems to reciprocate??? At least it's better than people still thinking that Langa would ever reject Adam's advances in canon. This is probably a point that's very dear to me, since it's actually the basis as to why I think Eden places miles away from the toxic relationships above. The dynamics in these relationships usually goes that the older one coerces the younger and more naive one with something and exploits them in a way. Then, the younger one usually reacts and a new dynamics establishes in the couple. It's a cool thing to explore in fiction, but, again, not an Eden thing in the slightest.

First of all, Langa already is into skateboarding before meeting Adam. He didn't make Langa interested in skateboarding so he could approach him, he just saw him multiple times and only after that he decided to approach him.

When they meet for the first time, Adam isn't very much different than he usually is at S. He's still the extravagant, arrogant and self-confident legend of S. That is to say, he's not trying to appear different in Langa's eyes to install a false sense of security. Adam straight up claims him to be his prize and not only Langa isn't put off by that but this also makes him want to skate more against the other. If he wasn't genuinely interested in Adam, he would've been put off by this behaviour (like Reki is). In fact, Reki skates against Adam to prove a point, Langa skates against him because he wants to, no reasons needed. Again, during the recent VA event, after re-enacting some of the pivotal scenes in the series, Reki states that it's peaceful without Adam (his va wasn't present at the event) and Langa ~immediately~ says that he would have wanted to see some of Adam's scenes. That's not what you say about someone you don't like XD

He probably doesn't realize that Adam calls him Eve for a while, but when he does, Langa doesn't look weirded out or annoyed by it. He is surprised by it. And it's hard to think that he didn't get the reference when someone named Adam calls him Eve. I don't want to say that he agrees to be Adam's Eve, of course, but he's fine with it. Like he's fine with Adam giving him roses and his violent behaviour in general.

Talking about violent behaviour, he's never angry with him when Adam gets violent. He understands that such are the rules of S and during the last episode Utsumi said that she wanted them to fight with fists so she thinks that Langa would be fine with getting violent too (but after the Famous RinHaru Scene I see why she'd think that...) but that's just speculation. In ep 5, he just wants to skate with him, full stop. But also, even after seeing Adam getting extremely violent with Reki in ep 11 he's not actually angry or wants revenge. Instead, he's bent on wanting to know Adam better and teaching him the fun in skating. He rooted for Reki because he wanted to skate against him in a beef for sure but also bc he thought that the message could get across Adam even if delivered by Reki but when it didn't he wanted to do it himself. If Langa was being exploited by Adam, or groomed, or anything, he would've woken up after the Renga makeup. But, oh well, he didn't. That's because Eden was never meant to be abusive. That's not the face you show to your abuser.

Him and Tadashi are the only one in the series with the balls of actually calling out to Adam when he goes out of line. Joe does it in ep 11, but only because he's afraid for Reki's safety. Langa has no problems with flashing Adam an annoyed gaze when he smokes instead of skating against him, and has no problem calling out his bs in ep 12. I'm p sure that if he knew about Adam's warped conception of love, he'd call out on that too. He is able and has the agency of standing up to him and he's not a passive part in the relationship. Very much different from toxic relationships, where making the other unable to react (or them escaping from such a situation) is one of the main points of the dynamics.

There are countless ways Eden could go wrong and get toxic (the last ep showed us a pretty good example when they both got in the zone), but Reki teaching Langa the fun in skating prevented it. In a way, Reki made healthy Eden possible, but we're not ready to have this kind of talk yet XD

miya grumbled as he sneaked quick glances at you from across him. you were both at school eating lunch underneath a tree for shade, like you always do, and for some reason, he was acting strange and awfully fidgety ever since the morning you went up to greet him.

"alright, what is it, miya?" you asked with a sigh "h-huh?" miya jumped as he nervously sipped on his drink, avoiding eye contact as his fingers fiddled with his switch.

"you're acting so weird" you said as you throw a candy wrapper at him "you've been looking at me strangely all day" you said as you narrowed your eyes at him

miya gulped and shook his head "no way!" he denied "you're getting too confident, you slime!" he said as he stuck his tongue out playfully

you rolled your eyes and laughed at his antics, throwing another piece of wrapper at him as you tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. "whatever" you said

"and don't call me a slime, im your best friend!" you whined with a laugh. miya blushed and jutted his bottom lip out in a sort of pout. "you're still a slime if you keep acting like that.." he muttered

you raise a brow in confusion "acting like what?" you asked. "a-acting so... so.." he stammered out, looking so flustered as he tries to maintain eye contact with you, even though he could practically feel his heart palpitating.

"so what?" you asked again, this time even more confused as his face visibly becomes a brighter shade of red all the way to the tip of his ears.

"so cute!!" miya finally admitted, accidentally raising his voice a little too high, causing a few students to turn their heads.

"aghhh" he groaned out as he ducked his head to avoid their gazes out of embarrassment.

"oh.. is that so?" you cooed out with a laugh as you cover your cheeks which were heating up from the compliment.

"well, you're pretty cute yourself" you teased "even for a slime"

miya looked up and glared at you, despite his quivering lips and shaky voice he still managed to let out a small "im not a slime.."

you smile and pack away your bento, standing up on your feet and pulling him along. "im gonna keep calling you a slime if you won't stop acting weird around me" you said

"anyways, let's go. lunch is about to end" you say as you take his hand in yours and proceed to walk away. miya gulped as he stared longingly at your intertwined hands.

more specifically, your ring finger which seems to be quite bare.

"hey, y/n.." he muttered. "yeah?" you reply

"remember our promise?" he asked ".. yknow, when we were kids?"

you hummed for a moment before replying, "i think so.." you said "i mean.. i remember promising not to tell anyone when you fell into a canal when we were like five-"

"not that!!" miya shrieked with a bit of a pink tint to his cheeks "forget about that whole thing, that's embarrassing!" he whined

"then what?" you asked with a laugh "i can't name every promise we've ever made all in one go, you know?"

miya huffed and abruptly stopped in his tracks, causing you to halt along with him.

"i meant.. when we promised to marry each other." he said in a soft whisper

"miya.." you mumble as you stare at him in surprise. miya simply looked away, avoiding eye contact as his lips quiver into a small frown.

"um. yeah, i remember" you replied with a nervous smile as miya takes your hand in his and locks your fingers together.

"y/n, i think.." miya stammered out "i think i want to get married already."

you blinked in shock and confusion before letting out a sheepish laugh "haha, miya you can't be serious" you said

"we're too young, plus, you're saying that as if you like me or something" you said in a joking manner as you playfully hit his shoulder "but you don't actually like me, right?" you asked with a nervous gulp

miya shook his head and placed your hands over his chest, holding them tenderly as he stares up at you with his eyes glimmering with admiration.

"i like you a lot, y/n" he admitted "i've liked you since we were kids and-" he cut himself off

"actually, i think i love you. so um.. i wanna get married so nobody else can love you but me." miya said with a look of determination on his face as he nervously waits for your response.

"well uh.." you stammer out as you nervously look around "i.. i love you too, miya.." you finally admitted as you send him a bashful glance

miya's eyes widened as his smile turned into a wide grin. "really?" he asked with excitement

"yeah i guess" you muttered bashfully as you try to avoid his entrancing emerald hued eyes.

"that's great! let's get married." miya said as he took your hand and pulled you along as he ran towards the infamous cherry blossom tree in your school.

"miya, slow down!" you whined as he practically dragged you along while you struggled to keep up with him since he was basically sprinting.

"hurry up, you slime!" miya exclaimed with a laugh as he slows down to match your pace

"geez. you know we can get married at like 20 or 25 instead, right?" you said as you let out a breath of air

you were both underneath the cherry blossom tree. the beautiful pink blossoms fall and sway around due to the wind as the both of you lay on the grassy ground.

"we don't even have rings" you laughed as you turned to look at him. "don't worry i already have those" miya said with a cat-like grin

you watched in amusement as he dug into his pocket and pulled out two rings made of paper with small cat and video game stickers and both of your names written on the inside.

"oh gosh you actually have them" you sweat drop "ofcourse! i made these this morning and put a lot of effort so you better accept it" miya playfully scowled

you both sat up as he held out his palm, urging you to place your hand on top of it.

"my vows would be.. uh i'll love you forever and let you play my games. and i won't ever leave you and call you a slime ever again" miya muttered as he slid the ring into your finger, blushing madly as he does so.

"wow, nice vows. very heartfelt." you say sarcastically with a laugh, causing him to grumble and gently hit you with his fist.

"just say your vows, you slime!"

"you just said you wouldn't call me a slime anymore!"

"that only applies after! we're still not together since you still haven't told me your vows, slime!"

you sigh as a fond smile grazed your lips. you stare at miya through your lashes, chuckling to yourself as you see him waiting expectantly with a concerning amount of blush on his cheeks.

"my vows would be.." you muttered "that i would never leave you and i'll be with you and support you in whatever you wanna do." you said

"and-"

"that's enough" miya cut you off by waving his hand at your face, while covering his with the other. "u-um.. im fine with just that, you don't have to say anything else.." he said

you blink in confusion but agree anyways. "okay then" you smiled

miya gulped as he shakily lends you his hand, watching in astonishment as you slid the ring onto his finger.

"there, we're now officially together forever" you said with a laugh as you intertwined your hands together

"yeah." miya mumbled as his lips slowly curled into a loving smile

you gave him a smug grin as you point to your lips "this is the part where you kiss me-"

miya didn't let you finish as he suddenly tackled you into a hug and pressed a soft kiss onto your lips before moving along and pressing his lips onto both of your cheeks and nose.

"thanks for marrying me" miya muttered against your neck as he buries his face against your skin

"anytime" you chuckled. you wrapped your arms around him, causing him to sigh in satisfaction and relax against your body.

"mhhm, love you y/n" he mumbled

"i love you too miya"

"man, you'll never understand since you're too young" reki said with a smug grin as he patted miya's head to emphasise his point

"love is just too complex for kiddos like you" reki teased

miya simply grumbled and glared up at the redhead, causing reki to laugh even more. "oh yeah?" miya taunted

"well, it's not like you have a lover of your own" he scoffed "you can't flirt for the life of you, and girls wouldn't even waste their time of day to look at you"

reki let out a pained smile as he sulked over miya's harsh words. "ahahaha, those are some big words for a little kid like you" reki squeaked out with a chuckle

"tch.." miya gritted his teeth as he glared up at reki "you have no room to talk when your ethe one who doesn't have a s/o, you slime!" he exclaimed

"eh??" reki mused "why? do you have a s/o?" he taunted "i think not-"

"yes i do." miya cut him off with a smug smirk

"ha?! how?! you're like three?!?" reki exclaimed in surprise, which seemed to catch the others' attention

"ha?! im thirteen idiot!!" miya yelled back with a scowl

"what happened?" kaoru asks with a raised brow as he looks between the two boys. reki seemed to be in shock and suspicion, while miya was sticking his tongue out at the redhead.

"cherry, miya said he has a s/o!!" reki exclaimed "how is that even possible?! he's a child!"

"im a teenager!" miya exclaimed

"really?" kaoru hummed in amusement as his eyes slowly trail over to you, who was too busy munching on burgers with langa to even notice their arguing.

"who is it??" reki asked "its y/n." miya replied with a proud smirk

"Y/N?! IMPOSSIBLE!" reki exclaimed with widened eyes. he ran over to you and hugged you protectively to his chest. "y/n, answer me honestly!" he said

"are you and miya together?!"

you blink in confusion and look at langa for an answer, though he simply shrugged and carried on eating. "um, well yeah." you said

"no way?!!!" reki exclaimed "oi you slime, why does it seem so unbelievable to you anyway, huh?" miya asked him with a raised brow as he pulled you closer to him

"it's just a shock to me!" reki said "i never would've guessed that.." he let out a sigh

kojiro sweat dropped and patted miya and yours' heads. "well, it was pretty obvious they'd end up together" he said

"yeah, we even got married." miya said in a nonchalant tone as he intertwined your hands.

"EH?!" now this time, everyone had let out a scream of their own. they looked between the two of you and blinked in shock.

"impossible. since when?" kaoru asked

"a week ago" you replied with a smile as you raise both of your hands to show them the rings on your fingers.

"but thats just paper-" kaoru slapped langa's mouth with his fan and smiled proudly at the two of you.

"that's wonderful. are those your rings?" he asked with a hum

"yeah. miya made them" you replied "it was really fun. the 'wedding' was a bit unexpected but its fine." you said

"the children are growing up!" kojiro exclaimed as he covered his mouth, while he wipes the stray tears of joy away.

"kaoru! the children are grown!!"

"shut up, you gorrila! you act like they're our kids." kaoru rolled his eyes. he then turned to you and smiled softly once again.

"congratulations" he said

"heh. hows that, you slime?" miya sneered at reki as he flaunts the paper rings with a smug cat-like grin.

"those are just paper anyways! so you're not really married- ow!" reki yelped as he felt kaoru's fan hit his head

"tch. whatever! im gonna get real rings soon!" miya exclaimed.

"no need to rush things, you know?" you mused as you patted miya's head

"yeah.." miya muttered "paper rings will do for now.. right?" he asked.

"right."

Note: I JUST FINISHED SK8 THE INFINITY(atleast up until episode 8, I cant wait for ep.9 omggg) AND IM SUCH A BIG REKI KINNIE OMFG.

Miya sat with Langa and Reki. The three boys talking about the mext beef and how else to improve, Miya sprinkling small comments through out the whole conversation. Careful to not actually hurt the ither two boys but also keep them in check.

They sat comftorable talking together until a voice comes up behind them, "Miya, we have to get going".

Miya looks back, shocked to see his brother there, not expecting you to be here so early. Usually you wouldn't pick him up since he didnt like you too, but you decided to surprise him this time. Im sure he wouldn't mind if you bribed him with some food.

"Huh? ...mm fine, give me a second"

Miya quickly grabs his stuff before starting to walk towards you, looking back and giving the red haired and blue haired boys a goodbye.

Both Langa and Reki sat there confused, they had never seen you around. So to see you just casually picking Miya up wasnt something they ever expected.

You peeked their interest, especially Reki's, so he was determined to find out who you were.

Reki ran through S, hoping to catch up with the others and look for Miya. He hoped Miya would actually answer him instead of ignoring any question he made about you.

He ran faster when he caught a glimpse of your brothers neon green hoodie.

"Miya Miya Miya!!"

The people around looked at Reki as if he were crazy, why in the hell is this high schooler yelling for a middle school cat boy.

"What do you want?"

"Who was that guy that oicked you up yesterday?" Reki seemed like he had stars in his eye, for some reason he really wanted to get to know you. Not even Reki knew why he wanted to know more about you.

"Why do you want to know about my brother?" Miya says with a scoff, visibly confused as to why Reki of all people wanted to know more about you.

Langa, who was right beside Miya and Reki, gasped. Both Reki and Langa looked at eachother with wide eyes.

"YOU HAVE A BROTHER??"

The two boys scream out, everyone in a 5 mile radius defenetly heard them. They could probably get the cops attention with how loud they yelled.

Everyone around them hushed the two boys, both of them now looking at Miya as if he were the crazy one.

"Yes I have a brother, now what the hell do you want to know about him? You guys are weird"

Reki grabs Miya by the shoulders before viciously moving him back and forth, even more exicted then he was before.

"Why didnt you tell us? Why havent we meet this guy before? Where is he right now? Does he skate as well?"

Reki had millions and millions of questions, while Langa just wanted to know if he could do a beef with you. Certainly Miya must have learnt skating from someone else, maybe that someone was you.

Miya yelps as he gets thrown around in front of everyone. He grabs his skateboard before hitting Reki in the chest, effectively making Reki lose his grip on Miya's shoulders and Miya finally being able to move around freely.

"Idiot stop asking so many questions! If you really wanna know about my brother just ask one question at a time...god"

"Okay okay" Reki says and then takes a deep breath, "is he here?"

"He-"

Before Miya can respond Reki hears a shout from behind him.

"Hey boy!"

As Reki looks back he spots the one and only boy who he was seemingly obsessed with, atleast in Miya's eyes it seemes that way.

Reki had a big smile and he sees you skate towards him, looking incredibly cooler then he could ever be, or atleast thats what he thought.

You stand in front of him with a smile, extending your hand for him to shake.

"Heard you were talking about me?"

At that, Reki blushes. His face now comoletelt red, noticing that he indeed was talking about you. It embarrased him more then he wished it did, he didn't want you thinking he was obssesed with you or something if he hasnt even talked to you once.

You chuckle at his expression, placing your hand on his shoulder before starting to talk to him again.

"Dont worry about it, i dont mind"

Reki lets out a big sigh at what you said, thankful you didnt think of him in a bad way.

The moment you shared gets broken as both Miya and Langa look from behind Reki's shoulder, directly at you.

You quirk a brow as Miya glares at you and Langa just stares in awe.

"Did i do something?" You say before Langa jumps up and starts speaking.

"We should beef!"

At that, Reki and Miya pale up. Miya now worried you would beat Langa's ass, and Reki worried he wouldnt be able to spend some more time with you.

You let out a laugh at Langa's words, excitment couarsing through you now. It had certainly been some time since you've beefed with anyone.

"Is that so? I guess we can arrange something"

At that, Langa is now satisfied. He gives you a quick thank you before running over to Joe and Cherry to talk about how he could improve. He knew it wouldn't be easy to beat you, you were Miya's older brother after all.

Skill runs in the family.

While Langa ran off, so did Miya. Groaning about how he couldn't stomach looking at you and Reki talk, saying something about how you would probably start flirting with him sooner enough.

Reki ignores him as he keeps on talking to you, not noticing the relaxed face and posture you had on while talking to him. He didnt know in that moment, but you usually weren't like that. At least not with people you had just met.

The conversation rolled on smoothly, its almost as if you guys had met before. No one would have guessed you guys weren't friends already.

Soon enough it became very late and everyone had to say their goodbyes, Reki was sad that he would probably not be able to see you for a few days since you studied at another school.

You notice his expression and decide to give him your phone number, he immediatly lit up again. Its as if you were staying at the sun in the middle of the night.

You didn't mind it at all.

You ruffle up his already messy hair before grabbing your skateboard and walking off with Miya, not forgetting to say some last words before leaving.

"See you later cutie, text me!"

DAYDREAM PARTNER | LANGA HASEGAWA

A/N: YES I AM WRITING FOR SK8 THE INFINITY NOW!! send in requests im begging you im so in love with these boys-

LANGA X FEM! READER

Langa hasn’t felt the ache in his legs in what felt like forever, skating non stop for literal weeks. The muscles in his legs had finally given out. Lying on his back against the cool concrete, his skateboard still by his head.

“You tired?” you asked, standing over him.

With reluctance, he nodded. The stinging and his muscles and his skinned hands and knees were only getting more intense now that his adrenaline had calmed. You let out a hum, digging into your school bag only a few feet away from you two.

“Here.”

You set a cold yogurt flavored drink on his sweaty forehead, waiting for Langa to catch it. Langa and you hadn’t been hanging out for very long. Since Reki had been taking so many errands for Oka for a raise, he’d asked you to help him out with tricks. You weren’t the best at skating, you knew the basics and some tricks, and you perfected them to the best of your ability.

Langa mumbled a quiet, “Thanks,” before chugging the drink.

You sat on your own board next to him. He was quiet, and being around a loud person like Reki it was a little unsettling. Reki talked a lot already, you always depended on him to carry the conversation. Langa on the other hand was the opposite.

Does he not like me? Maybe it’s cause I’m new…

The blue haired boy sat up, “Can you show me how to jump again?”

“No, rest some more,” it was clear how his body slightly shook at how exhausted his muscles were, “Your palms are all scraped too, they were bleeding earlier. Clean it.”

You threw him a small bottle of disinfectant and dug through your bag for a clean towel or a clean shirt. Eventually, you threw your clean gym shirt at him. Langa didn’t think about it too much when he rubbed the stinging alcohol on his skin, but when he saw how small your shirt was it all settled into him.

(Y/n) is a girl.

Langa’s face erupted with red up to his ears as he looked back at your bored expression. You shot him a weird look. For some reason it had crossed Langa’s mind that you had taken the shirt off that you were originally wearing.

“It’s literally just a shirt, it’s clean. It’s all I have right now, so-rrrry.”

At the same time you couldn’t blame him, he’d probably never been close to a girl like this, but even then you weren’t probably ever going to see him ever again. You knew Reki through S, and you ended up commissioning him when your board had snapped in a race. You don’t attend S anymore, your parents are way too strict and it’s too risky now.

Flustered out of his mind, he looked back between you and the cream colored gym shirt that lied in his hand. His cheeks swollen with red, he used the disinfectant on himself and rubbed the dirt out with your shirt. Handing the bottle and the now soiled clothing back to you, instead of paying mind to his outreached arms your mind was in another world entirely of its own. Spaced out with your eyes fixed on the afternoon sky above you, without much thought Langa followed your gaze to the sky and spaced out with you.

The annoying stinging in his hands seemed to almost disappear, it was nice to just stare up at the sky.

“Ah,” you mumbled, snapping Langa out of his daze, “It’s already 4:00pm, I gotta go. Reki should be here in a half hour, you alright by yourself?”

You stood up and dusted your sweat pants off, hurling your school bag over your shoulder.

“Yeah, but-” Langa started, your shirt and the disinfectant now in his lap.

With a nod and a push off your skateboard you yelled back as you descended downhill, “Sounds good, thanks for skating with me. It was fun!”

Langa felt speechless for some reason, skating with you was fun and he was glad you were willing to help him out. However, something seemed to be taken away from him as your presence left him. It wasn’t the fact that he was alone now, but more of the fact you left in such a rush gave him the impression you didn’t like his company. A block of ice had settled into his stomach, gradually melting when he saw the shirt and the bottle in his lap.

He was excited to have a reason to see you again.

“Hey Reki,” Langa started, his heart beginning to race, “(Y/N), does she come to skating races and stuff?”

Reki turned his head, “(Y/N)? Not that I know, she’s a model student so she her parents don’t really let her get away with sneaking out at night or big injuries. She’s a great teacher though and has perfected basic tricks, so I had her babysit you.”

Langa deadpanned at the word ‘babysit’.

“Why d’ya ask?”

“She left her gym shirt with me and I’m not sure where or when to give it back to her... I don’t think she likes me very much either,” the blue haired boy’s mood sank a little when he though back to you zooming off.

Reki pointed up, “I don’t mind giving it back to her, but if you wanna hand it in yourself you can always stay after hours. She comes around every night to drop off her board.”

That entire sentence made Langa’s day, he could see you again.

- I’m just going to say that she knew from the beginning you will be her bestie for life (accentuate the words FOR LIFE)

- You two really clicked in an instant, which kinda annoyed the other members of the league ( “Since when became the League a kindergarten?” yes, Dabi, thank you for your sarcasm)

- On mission, around the hideout, or simply going out to steal shop some clothes, the two of you are always together, basically joined to the hip at this point.

- You have weekly sleepovers, that in time became daily. You start by doing eachother’s hair (Toga especially loves your red locks, she thinks they are so beautiful and she is right), then painting your nails and bitching about literally anyone.

- Expect a lot of praise from her, you know how she is with people she loves!

- She likes that you are someone that understands her and you always have her back with your upbeat and funny personality. Really, she couldn’t even dream of a better friend!

- The others of the league were pretty worried about you two, since you took the expression: “partners in crime” to literally. The most suspicious were Shigaraki and Dabi.

- Really, what did a sunshine ball like yourself did there with them? At first you seemed so chatty and talkative, basically glowing in anyone’s presence.

- It was also weird, since you had mixed views over a lot of things, really! Shigaraki heard you saying that you like cats, but during a mission you got so scared by one of them. Man was kinda shocked and that says a lot.

- I’m not even starting on Dabi, you know how he is…

- Anyway, all the suspicions vanished into thin air when you started to quote from Dostoevsky during one of your weekly hangouts with Toga.

- Dabi was so impressed, he couldn’t articulate any words (and yes he knew what you were talking about, Endeavour made him read the book when he was 10). Shigaraki however thought that Fyodor Dostoevsky was an anime character (mind his poor soul).

- After that, they started to see how intelligent you are and how your opinions and ideas helped them in their plans so much. (Tbh you saved their asses a lot of times)

- Now they’re all your friends. Deal with it, you have like 6 criminals that are whipped after your bright, kind and smart aura. 😌

- Also expect random sweets from all of them after missions. They started to stock them up in a cupboard and just give you one daily, for existing in their lives.

THE WAY I SCREAMED WHEN THE SCENE CAME ON

LIKE WE COULD ARGUE ALL DAY BUT I WILL STAY MY GROUND THAT THAT WAS THE BEST WAY THAT THEY COULD SUBTLY SHOW US THAT RANGA IS CANON.

I will gadly explain even tho no one asked.

Starting off we LOVE her. Best character fight me I will might for her.

Off the bat Nanako is clearly an overthinker and cares deeply about Langa, she wants the best for him 10/10 and that is shown everytime she's on screen!

Their dialogue on this episode on the scene:

"Hey, Mom..."

"What is it?"

"This is tasty"

"You think so? It went ratger well today, how well it's cooked...-"

"Hey, Mom..."

"What is it?"

"Will it be sunny tommorow?

("This is... Langa is trying to consult me for something? Come to think of it, he hasn't been that cheerful lately! Oh, there it is! My son talking about his troubles! What should I do Oliver?!")

"Hey, Mom..."

"Yes? (Calm down! Don't make a big deal out of it! Adolecent boys are timid!")

"I kinda screwed up. And I'm being avoided"

"I had something similar happen to me."

"Really?"

I will stand on pin and needles because not only is this the perfect way to actually lay out Langas type of feelings towards reki aswell as probably a coming out scene thats not really a coming out! OH AND LETS NOT FORGET HOW THIS WILL AFFECT LANGAS SKATING IN THE NEXT FEW EPISODES.

First off laying out Langas feelings towards Reki aswell as what those feelings are

that "huh... well..." that comes before the "yeah" is so dam important im rolling on the ground.

Because, yes, he hesistated and he thought, HE HESITATED AND HE THOUGHT ABT IT

Its the whole "Well do I like him? Well dam I guess I do" ordeal and its *cheffs kiss* beautifull.

And if anyones curious yes this is 1000000000000000% romantically.

Taking in context what Nanami said in before that with the whole "I had something similar happen to me" "You just keep missing each other but neither of you are in the wrong"

She's clearly talking about her and Oliver's past here. Something similar happened to her and Oliver, a fight or missundertanding maybe and they parted ways temporalily, but then they came back to each other.

Thats why this isn't in any way platonic. And she knows it and it's talking to him thinking that he is talking about a crush or something like that.

Langa knows that she's talking about it like that and he's thinking about it like that.

And my friends that's why this scene happens

YALL CAN SEE THAT ITS NOT THE ASPECT OF "its someones you like" THATS HE'S CONFUSED ABOUT, BUT THE FAACT THAT SHE SAID 'her'

AND ITS HILARIOUS BECAUSE LANGA HAD IT IN HIS MIND THAT SHE KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABT bcz she probably knows Reki and all... and the baby is SO confused hahahhaha

And then before the scene ends Nanami has a "Eh???!! (ohhhh)" moment and its gorgeous because Langa also has a "eeh???" and t the end.

She realised he wasn't talking abt a girl and he realised that she didn't already know, because to Langa it was like "She's my mom so like obviously she must know" kind of thing.

Ngl I could hear the cogs clicking toguether in her head plz hahajkzj

Now not only is this the perfect coming out, but also laying out what Langa feels towards Reki.

His sexuality by this scene is probably something he never thought he needed to explain, and it fits so well with his character I think i could cry to be honest.

also because of this

after the scene Langa is looking for reki and it looks like he needs to tell him something AND HONESTLY ITS BEATHTAKING.

The way the next episode could possibly be something special is ahhhhh you know???!
