Also I gotta ask, how would the RWBY Halo story end up potentially jackknifing into multiversal crossover shenanigans?

Alrighty! So this AU can best be described as one of those cases where you spend all this time and effort coming up with characters, developing their backstories and lore, figuring out how they all meet and come together... and then realize you really have nothing for them to actually... DO.

To whit; this AU imagines Team RWBY as a team of SPARTAN-IIIs who fought in the tale-end of the Human-Covenant War and are last surviving remnant of the ill-fated 'Project ARTEMIS', basically 'What if Beacon was a SPARTAN-III training facility?' There's actually a whole crazy backstory I came up with for their story that involves more or less the Fall of Beacon if it was the Covenant instead of grimm and a lot more people died and also Team RWBY fights a one-team guerilla war against the Covenant for the better part of a year before escaping in one of their ships.

However, that wound up just being part of the background for Team RWBY in this AU, because this story would be starting up two years Post-War, with Team RWBY having become innovators in SPARTAN armor modification and brought on to help design and test the next generation of MJOLNIR suits.

And now we come to everything else, because I also decided to come up with a whole host of other characters for this AU. In this case an entire ship and crew that Team RWBY is just one part of that I put a LOT of thought into that can basically be summarized as 'A ragtag bunch of misfits MADE UP OF ragtag bunches of misfits' (which includes Team RWBY). Just the ship alone I thought up as this refitted frigate that was used as a test-bed for all sorts of experimental technologies but wound up so over-designed that nobody was sure what to do with it, so it go assigned to a crew that nobody was sure what to do with.

(also, the frigate is named the Molon Labe, mostly because I am utterly baffled as to why seemingly no Halo ship has been named that yet.)

I had a ship, I had a crew, and I had no idea what they'd actually be DOING. So because at the time I was really into crossover fics, I came up with the idea that after the ship got some upgrades from a friendly Forerunner Construct by the name of 1883 Pensive Delineation (literally Penny as a Forerunner AI), the ship suffers a freaky slipspace/FTL accident that sends her and her crew rocketing across the multiverse for numerous misadventures.

A few of the places/series I was thinking they'd end up:

Mass Effect - Where the crew has to first get their bearings and figure out they are in a whole other universe and also avoid getting dragged into any galactic conflicts because due to cross-universe tech-levels, they're kind of freakishly overpowered compared to the locals.

Fate/Zero - Where the crew gets embroiled in a lot of magic chicanery and also has to try REALLY hard not to get spotted by 1990s humanity. Also they accidentally take Artoria and Irisviel with them when they leave.

Zero no Tsukaima - More magic chicanery and also the crew isn't able to lie-low in orbit/under the ocean again, so now they just have to try REALLY hard not to get embroiled in pre-industrial political powerplays and backstabbing with a bunch of mages who REALLY don't know how to take 'No' for an answer.

(also at some point I was going to have Artoria start wearing a spare suit of MJOLNIR armor. So that would have been fun :D)

Honestly, if more people are interested in this idea, I'll probably just post some of the more interesting parts of the notes I've been jotting for it over the years XD

I can choose not to write for something if it makes me uncomfortable or I simply don't like it. No hard feelings but I want to enjoy what I'm writing.

Please don't spam my inbox, send up to 3 asks at a time.

I have a limit of 5 characters per request, but I will make exceptions if it's a group that has a little bit more. For example, if you were to make a request for the protagonists of the Quintessential Quintuplets. 6 is over the limit, but I don't want to separate them.

Please dont just write a request that says "do this", it's a bit rude in my opinion and doesn't give me much to work with.

I don't do crossovers. I like to keep the series isolated from each other. But if it's in the same universe I don't mind. On that note, only request one series per ask.

This is a self insert blog, so I won't do ships. But I will write for Poly relationships if the reader is involved.

You can request any character, but if need be I will age them up or down as to not... make it weird? I don't know how to describe it, but I will take a few liberties to think about the future or the past of some characters for that. You can also request characters that aren't "human" and I will make a gijinka version of them to write for.

I don't write for real world people or real life events. Writing for living breathing people sounds weird to me and this blog is for fantasies.

If you want to request anonymously, you don't have to identify yourself. I would appreciate it, but you don't have to.

I like a lot of different AUs! So feel free to describe things you would like changed on the world of a series. Some AUs I like are modern AU, Self aware AU, fantasy AU, and Omegaverse.

The reader will be refered to as they/them to be more inclusive unless you request it to be otherwise.

If you desire, I can Genderbend characters or swap their roles. Those are always amazing AUs in my opinion.

I like writing for submissive readers since I enjoy that more, so I don't like writing for powerful or dominant readers most of the time.

You can ask any sort of question about what I will write or not and even suggest things if you feel so inclined.

1) Justice is Served (Breakfast) - Justice from Helltaker enjoying some Pancakes

2) Ciel's Upgrade - "Look at those E-Tanks!" Recently came across a fan-made game idea called "Project Ciel" which if I could I would throw money at, I feel that she is a character that could be explored more in the main series. Shure we get that she was created by Neo-Arcadia as a super-smart test tube baby, created Copy X, and later on created the Biometals, but we only see her in majority of game time as a "Damsel in distress" or "Guy in the chair" but in the project we see/play her during the early development of the Biometals. Although the main antagonist is a evil copy of herself and the 4-Guardians, which feels like its retreading ground, but I will be following this closely. Hopefully there won't be a Cease&Desist.

3) Dragon Louis - Frankly, I don't know why I drew this. I got the idea that Louis (from Familiar of Zero) somehow fused or absorbed the Ancient Dragon (who looks like a mountain hence the stone texture), but this being Louis she had to improve herself, hence the gold claws & tail unearthed from under the stone skin, and the jewels imbedded in the stone skin.

I was reading Mass effect crossovers and come upon strange one. Its about summoning Legion Geth in to Familiar of Zero universe. The fic was interestingly written and so i decided to look up what is that anime since its the first i heard about it (and just skimmed wiki) but the shenanigans written in that fic peaked my attention. So ... How about this AU. Azula is prodigious mage and everyone expect her to summon magnificent beast as her familiar, but the spell fails and she summons Sokka :D

Zero no Tsukaima… that IS from my weaboo era :’D but I never finished it, the characters pissed me off before I could finish it xD

At any rate, it would be a fun AU, the setting and the situation in Zero no Tsukaima are ripe for fun and crazy chaos, so as long as you have characters who aren’t as frustratingly flat as the original ones (at least, I seem to remember they were), it should flow wonderfully. I wouldn’t follow the original’s storylines at all (heck, I barely remember what they were anymore xD), I’d just build something up from the premise of Sokka being Azula’s familiar in a world he’s very much a stranger to. It’d be pretty interesting if someone tries to write something like this, at least.

Blog rules and introduction!

Oh! I didn't see you clicking on my bog. Welcome! This is the second writing blog I'm making, so I have some experience but not that much. Let's begin, shall we? In this post you will find my introduction, series I write for, rules, and all of my tags you might want to blacklist, so you don't get exposed to things you do not even want to be reminded of exists. Rules of the blog To browse my blog: If you are under 18, please leave, there will be lots of adult themes here alongside toxic stuff no minor should be exposed to (for that reason, the Masterlist will be under the cut). If you are above 18, check my trigger warning tags before browsing. If there is one missing, let me know asap! All works will be under the cut, but better safe than sorry.

To make requests: I like having minimal rules if possible, so these are the ones I won't budge on.

You can send me a request including any characters you have in mind, I can either write a short fic, imagine, or some headcanons, all up to you! Just follow the rules below and check which fandoms I write for.

Max of 6 characters for each request (Unless they are part of a group, for example, the boys of class 1-A or all the Yordles of League)

I don't do crossovers, I just don't have fun writing for them. On this topic, please make every request be on the same series, don't ask for that character or that other character from a different game, makes things messy on the tags.

I write for every AU (Alternate universe) you know or can think of, but my favorite are either an Omegaverse AU or any interesting reverse AU.

But the rule most won't be happy with, I do enjoy knowing whom I'm writing for since I don't want to have a massive blog, just have people with similar interests that like my writing. Anonymous asks will always be active, but be sure to give yourself a name so I know what to write for you.

I don't directly write for transgender topics for personal reasons. Comfort for it is fine, I need for mine some times as well. ^^"

I do not write for real-life events. I know the world right now is upside down, so I would like to keep the fiction I write to be as far from it as possible.

About the writer

First of all, thank you for reading all this way! You can call me Lime or Lime-pie, I couldn't decide in the end. There isn't much to say about me, to be honest... I'm 21 and I'm learning psychology in college. I'm having tons of problems with my gender identity, but I'm hanging in there.

As for my preferences when writing... I love writing for a female reader, but I will always default to AFAB to include everyone.

For my gender preferences, I fall more easily in love with those famous ladies in anime and games, but when I fall for a man... I go down bad, trust me.

For preferences in relationships, I'm down for everything, but my favorites are the ones where the character has some sort of control over the reader. They are their boss, teacher, or have some edge on them. This can lead to fluff (comfort) or to some dark stuff.

As for kinks, my all-time favorites are Size differences (Really subtle or extreme ones), feet, vore, sweat, monsters (is this even a kink? anyway, monster boys or monster girls), armpits, stomachs, tighs and spit play.

Lots of kinky stuff... but that's why I left it at the bottom.

Zero No Tsukaima! AU

Adrien is born into a rich and influential family of high class mages

His magic, however, is nothing short of a disaster

His spells all seem to revert to a simple destruction spell known as Cataclysm

His good looks and background protect him from any ‘harm’ that may come his way, and his is constantly busy with modeling jobs and the like

Chloe is the Princess of Germania, a fire mage, and a childhood friend of Adrien (Chloe of the Roaring Flames)

She constantly tries to get close to him but they have grown apart

She uses her status to get what she wants and usually avoids doing work, but is quite good at magic

Sabrina does most of Chloe’s work

She is an Earth mage of considerable skill (Sabrina of the Sturdy Mountains)

Her best spell can create jewels

Nino is a lower-classed noble, native to Tristan

He was quick to become Adrien’s best friend

He is a wind mage with a laid-back attitude (Nino of the Golden Winds)

His favorite spell is a bubble barrier

Alya is a native of Albion and a somewhat powerful water mage (Alya of the Curious Brooke)

She is very friendly and curious

One of her best spells allows her to send water droplets to people and use it to talk or spy on them (she developed it herself and only a few close friends know about it)

Plagg is the Crown Prince of Albion and was in a relationship with the Princess of Tristan, Tikki, before her sudden disappearance

He is a Triangle mage(Water, Air, & Earth) of considerable power, but is very easy going

His real name is Damian, but he prefers to be called Plagg

Tikki disappeared when Adrien was 4

Her real name is Stephania, but again, She prefers Tikki

She disappeared during a battle between legendary familiars

There are rumors that she is in another world

Marinette lived in modern day Paris in the Bakery

She met Tikki at the age of 4

Tikki had merged with her familiar, a fairy-like ladybug creature from her world to save up her energy

Marinette saved her from certain doom when the princess appeared

Tikki gave Marinette a pair of ruby studs to thank her

The earrings gave the girl the power to become Ladybug, a powerful protector of justice

For the next 10 years Tikki trained Marinette to become this protector, while learning French and teaching Marinette her own language

Tikki and Marinette become very close and tell each other everything

Tikki tells Marinette of her past and of Plagg

Marinette tells Tikki about her dreams

Marinette has (officially) been Ladybug for 2 years and is 14 years old when she comes across the summoning portal

Tikki urges her to go, telling Marinette that it leads to her world

She and Tikki both go through it

Adrien is 14 when the class performs the summoning spell to acquire a familiar

Chloe gets a prideful lion, a female with astounding strength (needless to say, she is quite satisfied)

Sabrina receives a kindly but uptight Hippogriff, whom she bonds with quickly

Nino gets a Fenghuang, which he adores (He doesn’t realize what it means about his loyalty until later)

Alya gets a Raijū, which she is quick to adore and smother in love (She likes to think that her Thunder Wolf is better than Chloe’s plain old lioness)

The others all go up until he’s the last one left

When he casts the spell, it doesn’t blow up in his face

Instead, Marinette falls through the portal

Marinette falls through the portal cursing rapidly in french

Adrien just barely manages to catch her

Chloe screeches, her lioness growling at her side

‘Who are you, plebian?!’

‘It’s not polite to call people plebian, you know. I’ll have you know that living in Paris is quite expensive.’

‘Excuse me?!’

‘Damn snooty rich people.’ Marinette says to Tikki in French

Adrien steps in hesitantly, pulling Marinette up from her seat on the ground

Gently, he places a kiss on her hand to seal the contract

The runes appear on the back of her hand, marking her as his familiar

Tikki whispers urgently in her ear, unseen

‘Marinette, something is wrong here. It didn’t feel this way when I lived here. Be careful.’

Marinette vows to protect everyone, as she had in Paris (She also vows not to panic over the cute boy she’ll be staying with)

The runes on her hand are quickly recognized by their teacher as the mark of a legendary familiar

She is gifted with the power to use anything as a weapon

Nino and Alya quickly take a liking to Marinette, but Alya feels the need to double check

That night, when Adrien slept, Marinette walked outside to observe the new surroundings

Alya uses her water spell to spy

‘What do you think, Tikki?’

The red fairy creature zooms out from her breast pocket, motioning franticly

‘Keep your eyes open. His power is of Void, and people will be after him.’

Alya doesn’t understand a word but deems Marinette as a neutral force

The next day, During the familiar bonding time, Alya tries to reevaluate Marinette

She discovers Marinette’s love of design and fierce protectiveness over her ‘master’

Alya begins to deem her as Trustworthy

She quickly gets into a fight with Chloe, who challenges her to a duel

‘This is a Magic duel, Marinette’ Tikki warns, ‘Are you sure you don’t want Ladybug to step in?’

Marinette just smirks. ‘I’m fine, Tikki.’

She pulls a Yo-yo out from seemingly nowhere and starts using it, looking smugly at Chloe

Chloe gets even more annoyed ad sends a fireball at her

It’s easily deflected by the spinning of her yo-yo

Marinette wins easily without harming anyone

The Aristocracy of Tristan visits their school and a high-ranking guard recognizes her earrings

At night, he comes to visit and ask about them

‘They were a gift to me when I was young. Why?’

‘They look like our missing princess’ old earrings. I suppose I was wrong.’

‘Hm.’

He leaves, but not before leaving a task to Adrien

Damian (Plagg) has requested an audience with him and his familiar

Tikki urges Marinette to go

They go To Albion, where Plagg tells them about the rising force of a man named Hawkmoth, who is planning to take over the world using the power of the mythical Miraculous stones

Plagg entrusts Adrien with a ring and his familiar, a black cat-like fairy creature

Tikki communicates with Plagg through it, relaying tales of her adventures in Paris, all while remaining hidden

A week after they return to school, Plagg is assassinated

Plagg sends his spirit into his familiar and tells Tikki

Hawkmoth, using void magic, uses Plagg’s body as a host for his akuma

He attacks the school and nearly burns it to the ground

Marinette evacuates the building and is forced to go into Ladybug mode

As Ladybug, Marinette saves the school and restores it to it’s former glory

The akuma escapes before she can purify it

She slips away and reappears as her normal self

Adrien and Alya are instantly enamoured with Ladybug

Plagg and Tikki are highly amused

Marinette starts sneaking out to patrol the school at night

Ladybug quickly becomes the local legend and receives praise at meals alongside the founder (Ladybug of the Lucky Stars)

Adrien fawns over her and gushes about her to Nino and Marinette

Marinette only smiles and nods

As time goes on, the akuma get more and more powerful

Plagg reveals that his gift to Adrien, the ring, will allow him to become Chat Noir, Ladybug’s partner

Ladybug meets Chat Noir for the first time the next night

He is quick to become her most trusted friend (other than Tikki), but she decides to keep her identity a secret

He falls in love quickly, but she pushes him away

Her complete loyalty lies with Adrien, whom she is determined to protect from the darkness she knows lies beyond the school walls

Their first fight together shows Chat this

He doesn’t understand her loyalty to the place, but he decides to stay at her side anyway

They are repeatedly given multiple titles as their superhero forms and Their Normal forms are given lower but significant titles

She discovers his identity first, returning to the room with a basket full of clothing when she overhears him talking to Plagg

‘You should tell her. She is your familiar, after all. What if she goes into a panic the next time you disappear? I’m surprised she hasn’t noticed yet.’

‘Plagg, I can’t. She’ll try to stop me. I won’t have the freedom that comes with the title of Chat Noir, and I won’t be able to see my Lady.’

She walked in then, feigning ignorance

She doesn’t stop him from going out to patrol, but she protects him more than she used to and scolds him when he puts himself in danger

In civilian form, she teases him lightly, like she does behind the mask but more toned down

Sometimes he looks at her oddly, like hes trying to remember something but he cant bring it to mind

It becomes a sort of inside joke between the Royals and Marinette

Adrien finds out about her on accident (a bigger one then her own, at least)

He’s observing the sky when red flashes across his vision and she lands. He watches her drop her transformation and leans forward a little more before-

He falls out of his window and out into the open, where Marinette stands, gazing at the flower beds and the sky.

She looks up and sees him falling

She catches him reflexively, grabbing the collar of his cloak just as he’s about to touch ground

‘Easy there, Kitty.’ She giggles in smooth French. ‘I almost lost you.’

He stares at her, wide eyed and in shock

She gently lowers him to the ground as Plagg meows loudly from the windowsill

It’s well after curfew and the doors to the dorm have long been locked

With an exaggerated pout, Marinette hoists Adrien onto her back and scales the wall, sliding into the window with ease and closing it tightly behind her

Tikki flies out from under the lapel of her coat and smiles at him

Marinette crashes, falling onto her bed

He just stares at her in shock before slowly going back to bed

When they wake up there is chaos (Mostly for Adrien though)

He starts connecting the puzzle pieces until he realizes

‘Oh my god I love her’

They become a syrupy sappy mess of adorableness

((Nino and Alya totally ship it))

Then Hawkmoth makes his final ‘winning’ move, laying down his final trump card - Plagg’s old body

But there is no true love of his to be heartbroken and turned, no dear friend to sob in defeat. Both are at Plagg’s side, protecting him in his familiar’s body.

They fight and the students of the school fight with them

Ladybug convinces Nino to put up a danger detecting bubble barrier to protect them, one that will only disappear when the danger is gone

she shoves them all into it, including Chat Noir-

And she makes her final move

She releases every ounce of her power into their world and cleanses it

The darkness in Hawkmoth’s heart fades and with it the akuma is cleansed

The world fixes itself and Plagg returns to his body

Tikki gets her old body back

Ladybug and Chat Noir are no longer needed and the transformation fades away

Marinette smiles, bows, and disappears

Adrien sits up quickly in bed, eyes wet with tears,

He makes his way to the bathroom and looks at himself in the mirror

For a split second, he swears he sees the bright blue of her gaze on him

But she never existed. That world was just a dream

And when he goes to school the next day and sees the baker’s daughter across the street, He falls in love all over again
