“One moment I’m whole and the next I hear your name and I come undone. I’m left with the puzzle pieces of me spread all over the floor trying to figure out how to put me back together again.”

“Sometimes all you can do is stand still below the hot stream of your shower as you embrace your skin and absently stare at the tiles while the tears melt into your cheeks. Sometimes that’s as holy as it gets.”

“It saddens me how far gone I am and it hurts me that I’ve gone nowhere at all. My mind took a journey on its own while my feet sealed on the ground remind me that I’m a coward fleeing from the scene of my very own fraud.”

I’m deserting my own war
“I’m on my knees on the verge of surrender. I no longer dream of perfect redemption. For once, the only thing I want is to heal.”

« I was 7 when my grandma taught me how to take care of a plant. "First," she explained, "cut off the dead leaves; you need to remove the withered parts that can no longer be saved so the rest of them can live." I stared back at her, startled: "No! It will hurt her.” She looked me in the eyes sweetly and said, "It’s going to hurt more if you leave them."
Little did I know that day she was teaching me how to take care of myself too. »

“One day, you find yourself facing the possibility that the friendly fingers that nursed your wounds were the ones who pulled the trigger. After that, you are never the same again. There are few things as devastating as the encounter with the face of absolute betrayal, but there is nothing as liberating as the truth that comes with it.”

Note
Your quotes are very deeply meaningful , what basically inspires you to write these quotes , like how do you find the correct words??
I feel that inspiration is already inside you. To me, inspiration is just a thought that has found its shape. It can hit you anytime, and when it does, you just know that any word that comes out of you is right because it fits perfectly into the puzzle of your heart like a missing piece you’ve just found.
Thanks for the question!

2.30 am and two empty bottles of beer.
“You were a haven to me.
The place I went every time I tripped over the bittersweet sadness that walked beside me.
The place I could hide in when the void trembled in the cracks of my soul, like an earthquake that swallowed me whole.
Since you are gone, I keep catching myself seeking traces of you everywhere, trying to evoke some sense of familiarity from the faces of strangers… Desperately looking for a glimpse of hope, for a glimpse of you.
And sometimes, when I’m lucky, it only takes emptying two bottles of beer at 2.30 a.m. to make my skin forget that you are not touching it.”
