Someday I want to do a comic about this witch. The idea came to my mind like 3 years ago, but with work and studies draining my time I couldn't spend the time I wanted with this...Say it project, say it silly thing I want to do. Every draw I made of her was different every time (the color pallete, the clothes, even the style) due the gap of time between drawings, no consistency at all. I've asked for advice like a week ago and I was told to draw character sheets, standing poses, facial expressions...And use them as a reference from now on. I still have to define the fantasy world and make it at least coherent. I have a lot of work ahead, damn. This comic can also improve my drawing skills a lot and get me out of my comfort zone. As a brief introduction. I want to make a comic dealing with controvertial issues, using some dark humor. The main character is an anti-hero, a drug-addict crushed by society. The story starts at the time she's arrested for a public incident and sentenced to do forced labors. The forced labors consists on acting as a fairy godmother for children in order to fight their phobias and fears. I think about the witch like an incorrect, tired and pissed of asshole that follows only her interests. I wanted every piece of cloth to had a reason to be and do the character interesting and complex. Nothing is there just for esthetical reasons. What worries me the most is that it's going to be difficult to deal with some topics, since I don't want to glorify drugs or feel like society can save her at all... I want to fight the body hair and underwear stigma too. That's why, in part, she's wearing panties. She's comfortable wearing them, she doesn't want to wear the work uniform that society is forcing her to wear, but hey, society is always correct and if you don't want to follow the rules, you are "insane". Some of the people that gave me feedback were a little bit against that she was only wearing underwear ("sane people don't wear only underwear", "how you are going to justify that", or just telling me that I don't have to justify it if I just want to "sexualize her", not exactly with this words, but you get the idea). This gave me even more reasons to opt for that design, I don't feel like she's being sexualized at all, or at least is not my intention. PS: The weapon is not an inanimate object, is her companion and guide in some way. Every time i think about the weapon is somehow like Weiss in Nier. if you have read this far thank you so much!
