Yay! My first ask about JotR!!

The title is actually a spoiler for the fic, so I'm going to throw the explanation under a cut.

So! "Jewel of the Ruins" actually refers to the reader herself! She falls into the underground in an attempt on her own life, then is rescued by Toriel. She lives with her for a pretty long time, and eventually befriends the monsters that live in the Ruins. She's so kind and helpful, in fact, that she's known as "the Jewel of the Ruins" by the monsters inside because she's a human who treats the monsters better than the monster who guards their home. In essence, she becomes a legend throughout the Underground (that is, except for Undyne and Asgore, because everyone knows what would happen to her if they knew).

Hey hey! Hope you have a wonderful day.

I'm gonna assume you're asking for all 8, so I'll throw this under a cut. Thanks for asking!

Sans doesn't have much of an opinion on tattoos. Humans put ink under their skin to have drawings on their body? Cool, but that's gotta hurt with all the needles. His favorite types of tattoos are pun-related.

Papyrus LOVES tattoos. He thinks they're INCREDIBLE!! Of course, he doesn't know that they're put on with needles, and when he finds out about that, he bursts into tears. His sweetest datemate, poked with needles for art?! It takes quite a bit of time to reassure him that it doesn't hurt forever. Tattoos that get his attention are ones with flames or dragons or (of course) skulls!

Blue likes tattoos! He knows that it hurts to get them, though, so he's apprehensive if you're interested in getting one, be it your first or fiftieth. At the end of the day, though, he knows that it's your choice and he won't try to push you either way. Celestial or sleeve tattoos are his favorite ones to look at.

Stretch, like Sans, is pretty neutral on tattoos. They're nice, but he doesn't really mind either way. If you do have them, he'll spend a lot of his time asking about the stories behind each one. His favorite tattoos are cultural ones. They show your pride in who you are.

Red thinks tattoos are extremely hot. His favorite thing about them is tracing the ink with his phalanges (or, you know, tongue or teeth). If he's serious enough about you, he'll definitely try to convince you to get one of his name.

Edge thinks tattoos are TOTALLY BADASS. So what if it hurts? Pain is temporary! Ink is forever! Edge's favorite types of tattoos are ones made in honor or in memory of someone.

Grimm finds tattoos attractive, but that's about as much as you'll get out of him. He doesn't explain it, but he does like them. His favorites are small ones, especially if they've got meanings behind them.

Spooky isn't much for tattoos, but something as small as that would never be a deal-breaker for him. He supports all of your decisions, even if he doesn't understand them!

what are the skellies' ideal body types? like what do they find the most attractive in a partner?

Just a disclaimer for this post! The skeletons are into all shapes and sizes, but these are just headcanons on what I think their favorites would be!

It's a bit suggestive, so it's also going under a cut.

Sans is into women with larger proportions. Stretch marks? Fine with him. Big stomach? More like extra pillow. Shape doesn't really matter to him, but he likes larger women for sure. As for face shape, he thinks that squishy cheeks are adorable. They're fun to mess with.

Papyrus' favorite shape is a strawberry shape! That would be broad shoulders, large chest, and smaller hips. He thinks it's nice to be held. Extra plus if she's muscular! With face details, he thinks that moles (although he refuses to call them anything but "beauty marks") are the highest sign of status and beauty! They're just so unique!

Blue is into hourglass figures, plain and simple. They're curvy. When it comes to faces, he likes round faces with big eyes. They just look so cute to him!

Stretch likes big thighs; that's the only part of the body that he actually pays much thought to on its own. If you ask him, he'll probably say that freckles are cutest to him (and who could blame him, honestly).

Red thinks that hourglass figures are great. There's just so much of the good stuff! He also likes big, pouty lips (and sinking his teeth into them).

Edge likes "flat" women with long, angular faces. He thinks they're dainty and beautiful, no matter what size they are.

Grimm, like Sans, is also a bit of a "chubby chaser". He views fat as a sign of beauty and being well-fed. If there's more to her stomach, that's even better--he's just glad she knows how to take care of herself. Just like his counterpart, he thinks that cheeks are the best part of the face.

Spooky is into pear shapes! Big thighs, wide hips. Like Red, he thinks that lips are beautiful and fun to bite.

Honestly, it depends on where we are!

If we're in the Underground, I'd probably have to say Papyrus. I love Blue, but he puts glitter in his tacos, and Edge likes to lace his cooking with glass and vinegar, so that's completely out of the question. As for Spooky... there's not much to eat in his timeline except some... questionable ingredients, and I'd rather have food poisoning than eat what he hunts.

But when it comes to the surface, Spooky all the way! He's been taught how to actually cook by Grimm due to the scarcity of food, and with plenty of ingredients to work with, I'm sure he could make some pretty amazing stuff.

Oh boy.

This is gonna be a bit long because I'm in the mood for some WRITING, BABY!! Spoilers for chapter 20 of In Lavender Fields And Sugary Springs!

Sans noticed the hubbub last, too tired from the festivities of the New Year. But when he heard Red shouting that angrily, he knew something wasn't good. When he put the puzzle pieces together, he wore a strained, forced smile.

* this isn't gonna end well.

Papyrus' thought process when he saw you, lips parted, face flushed, in Blue's arms, was pretty much an emotional rollercoaster. How dare Blue go back on their contract! But on the other hand, you looked so peaceful in his arms! But he wanted to kiss you! But then again, nobody was supposed to go after you in the first place!

WHAT?!

Stretch went through a similar rollercoaster. At first, he wrote it off as a misunderstanding, but when he saw your smudged lipstick, he knew it wasn't. Then, although he would never admit it, he was actually kind of... annoyed. Blue had gone back on the deal that all of them had made, and that wasn't even to mention Stretch's budding feelings. The whole situation left him conflicted and wanting to talk things out.

well, fuck.

Edge was furious when he saw the scene. You kissed Blue! Blue kissed you! You were both holding each other, like lovers! He didn't know why, but the thought made his mood downright bitter. It surely wasn't because he wanted to do the same, right? Clearly not. It's because you're being sleazy! Yeah! That's it!

Edge didn't really have any thoughts. He just kind of screamed.

Red, unsurprisingly, noticed it first. He was planning on kissing you for the New Year, so when he noticed that Blue snuck off with you to share the special tradition... Yeah, he flipped his shit.
