Miis Are Making a Comeback!
Well, sort of. There aren’t going to be any new mii games, Miitomo is not making a triumphant return. However, Miitopia is being released on the switch this May! This is one of many ports that were announced during Nintendo’s direct yesterday. It’s no surprise that people are a bit disappointed, upcoming releases like Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4 went unmentioned, the Kid Icarus franchise continues to be neglected, and so on. Since COVID-19 has everyone working remotely, I’m grateful to see anything coming out. Especially a port of one of my all time favorite games!
Tumblr media
That’s right. Miitopia is one of my favorite games. I said it. You may be wondering to yourself, why? Honestly, there’s a lot of things I love about it. If you’ve never played it before and you like turn based RPGs, I would absolutely reccomend it. I love being able to customize not just myself, but all of the characters. Many of the class options are unique and unlike other RPGs, Chef for example, or Popstar. Cat is my favorite. Also, the soundtrack is so fun and unique. I’m so attached to the game, that I refused to delete my old save file. I actually recently just bought another copy of the game to play it again. Now I’ll have 3!
Tumblr media
This game really is designed for multiple play throughs. You can change out your characters to brand new ones, change up your classes, etc. It’s a shame there aren’t multiple save files. Tomodachi life on the other hand, gets very repetetive very fast. I can see why Nintendo would choose to put Miitopia on the switch instead, even though I understand why some people are unhappy. One positive aspect of this is if Miitopia gets good sales, Tomodachi Life might get rereleased as well. On the other hand, Tomodachi Life does have homophobic aspects to it, so I can see why Nintendo would want to stay away from it. The ideal solution would be to just allow the game to have same sex marriage but I don’t know how likely that is. Fire Emblem did it, so it’s not impossible. But Nintendo only publishes Fire Emblem, they didn’t make it. Since it could be controversial, I think Tomodachi Life is most likely going to be condemned to death on the 3DS.
Tumblr media
Just because Tomodachi Life isn’t likely to come back, things aren’t all bad. The game isn’t just being ported, it’s being revamped. One of my favorite parts of Miitopia 2016 is when you get to ride Dominic the Dragon. He’s so cute! Now, you’ll have the option to recruit a horse to your party. Not only can you use your horse to get around faster, you can also level up your friendship level as you would with any other mii. The horse can even help you in battle! As an animal lover, this only adds to my excitement for the game.
Tumblr media
One aspect of the trailer that I didn’t like is that the miis definitely look different. There are new options to customize them, like makeup and wigs. But I’m honestly not a huge fan of how they look. The design looks worse than the original game to me. I could just be nostalgic about the old miis. I think the more I see of the game, the more I’ll get used to it. It’s hard to say whether there’s actually a problem or I’m just imagining it. The more I rewatch the trailer, the better I feel about it. There’s only ninety seconds of footage so far so it’s hard to say for sure.
Tumblr media
So what do you guys think about Miitopia? I imagine a lot of “real” gamers can’t be bothered but there’s also loads of people who are excited. Do the new miis look weird? Do you like the makeup and wigs? How awesome is the horse? What other changes do you think Nintendo might make? Will they be good or bad? Feel free to reblog with your own ideas. Also please like and follow because it helps out my blog a lot. Thanks for reading.

Skyward Sword is (Actually) Coming to Switch
Nintendo’s somewhat impromptu direct had lots of exciting announcements. Splatoon 3 and a Miitopia rerelease are definitely honorable mentions. However, I’m most excited to see that Skyward Sword is finally getting a port to the switch!
Tumblr media
This has been a long time coming. Rumors have been swirling about this game since 2018. The release date is set for July 16, 2021. Not everyone is a fan of Skyward Sword, partially because of the wonky motion controls, but that has been corrected for this new version. Rather than waving around your controllers in an awkward attempt to simulate fighting with a sword and shield, there will be an option to fight using the right control stick. If joy con sword fighting is your thing, that will also be an option. If you decide to play that way, make sure to wear the attachable wrist straps that come with your switch. Televisions have been known to break.
Tumblr media
Speaking of joycons, Nintendo will also be releasing a Skyward Sword themed set of joycons with the game. Personally, I won’t be buying them, mostly because I just bought a skin for my own joycons. They are really nice, and I love the little details on them. Most of the game themed joycons to come out before this haven’t had any embelishments. They’ve just been solid colors. Hopefully, we’ll see more joycons like these in the future.
Tumblr media
Ultimately, this announcement is exciting because it sets a precedent for more switch ports of Zelda games. I bought a Wii U exclusively to play Windwaker HD and it would be really nice if other people didn’t have to go through the same thing. Twilight Princess has only been released on the Wii and Wii U, both of which are basically dead consoles at this point. It’s great that Nintendo has been creating ports to help tide people over for the new games. Especially since a lot of people can’t access the older games or haven’t even heard of them. It’s a no brainer too since it takes minimal effort, makes them money, and makes their fans happy.
Tumblr media
Link is happy and so am I. Do you guys think that this has been in the works since 2018? Or was Eiji Aonuma’s teasing just a coincidence? Personally, I think the first time it was a joke, but the second leak was legitimate. I think Nintendo saw that this was something people wanted in 2018, and it was an easy thing for their team to work on remotely. It would bring all of us in quarantine much needed entertainment, and bring in more profit while Breath of the Wild 2 is still in the works. I’m so happy to see this actually come to fruition and excited for what it could mean for future Zelda releases. If you want to see my previous Skyward Sword post click here. Let me know what you think and please follow. If you could like and reblog, that really does help my blog so I would appreaciate it. Thank you for reading.

New Horizons Update Coming Soon
Tumblr media
Anyone who’s experiencing Animal Crossing fatigue (myself included) is in for some exciting news. The New Horizons Fall update is coming out September 30th. Less than a week away! It features some exciting new developments which I’ll be covering in this post,
There’s only so many times you can go diving before you get bored but, with Halloween quickly approaching, it was only a matter of time before Jack reared his ugly head. (No offense to Jack but he’s a talking pumpkin, he can’t exactly compete with all of the cute villagers around.) Anyways, just like in New Leaf, the player will be able to buy candy from the shop in order to prepare for Halloween. Luckily, it seems like the lead up to Halloween won’t be nearly as annoying as Easter, since the candy is obtained this way, rather than by fishing, catching bugs, ect. It’s good to start saving up candy early on, otherwise you risk the wrath of your villagers when the big night finally arrives. According to Animal Crossing’s website, you’ll be able to trade candy in for prizes from Jack. Basically, the more candy you have the better.
Tumblr media
Candy isn’t the only new thing you can buy, the Able Sister’s will be selling costumes as well. Also, using Nook Miles, players will now be able to add new features to their mirrors. Just like before, you’ll be able to change your appearance using a mirror or vanity, but now you’ll be able to access body paint and colored contacts. If you’re interested in costumes, be sure to utilize this feature to get the perfect Halloween look.
Tumblr media
Perhaps the most exciting part of this update, is that players will now be able to grow pumpkins, which can be used in DIY recipies to create spooky furniture. What’s so great about this is the precedent that it sets. There was a datamine awhile back that suggested the ability to grow vegetables was in New Horizon’s software, and this update proves it. According to Polygon we may can look forward to “Tomatoes, wheat, sugar cane, potatoes, carrots, and pumpkins,” (Julia Lee) the last of which we’ve obviously seen. Unfortuntately turnips aren’t on that list, so it sounds like we won’t be swimming in bells anytime soon.
Tumblr media
There’s also some little changes that the developers are making. There will be some new reactions to help players get into the Halloween spirit. Reactions will now be accessible via the Nook phone. If you’ve visited an Island by dreaming, you’ll now be able to revist by accessing a list, rather than having to reenter the dream code everytime.
Tumblr media
Are you excited for the new update? Cyd certainly seems to be. I know I am! Things were getting a little bit dull in Fantasia (my island) and I’m ready to jump back into things. The only thing that would make this perfect is if I could just get Freckles to move out already! Anyways, before you scroll by, please reblog and like this post. (Only reblog if this post suits your blog’s aesthetic of course.) It would really help me out and thank you for reading.

Is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Worth It?
Tumblr media
A little less than a month ago, Nintendo hosted a partner showcase that was in all honestly, pretty lackluster. However, something that caught my eye was Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition. I’m in the middle of playing through Final Fantasy VII right now and having a great time. The game looked cute but a lot different from the other Final Fantasy games I’ve played. For this reason, I was hesitant to drop thirty dollars on it, since there was a chance I wouldn’t like it. Luckily, Square Enix has a demo version that allows players to try the first three dungeons. I want to preface this review by saying that I haven’t played the whole game, just the demo. I’ve researched elements of the game I want to talk about that I didn’t encounter, but I’m not an expert or anything.
There is a synopsis on the Square Enix website, however it doesn’t really go in depth. The gist of it is that your character’s homeland is coated in a substance called ‘miasma’ which is essentially poison. The only way for the inhabitants to survive, is for caravanners to venture our and gather a substance called myrrh. The only way to obtain myrrh is by exploring one of the games thirteen dungeons. After you defeat the final boss, you will be able to collect a single drop of myrrh into your crystal chalice. If it sounds like there’s not much room for plot there, that’s because there isn’t.
Tumblr media
The trailer features a variety of different characters, so it was rather surprising to discover that they don’t actually exist. One of the first things you do upon opening the game is create your own. Final Fantasy games tend to host casts of dynamic characters, so it was shocking to realize that essentially there were none. In addition to this, the character creation is quite limited in comparison to games that normally feature that type of thing. You can choose from one of four races, these are the Clavats, the Litlies, the Yukes and the Selkies. Each race has different strengths. After this, you can set your gender and select a preset character design. There are a few different options but you can’t change anything about them, not their skin color, not their hair color or length, eye color, clothing, nothing. Considering the variety of races, one would think there’d be options that resemble people of color, but there’s not.
Tumblr media
Next up you can choose a family job for your character. The options are shown below. The job that you choose can have an impact on gameplay, but this isn’t featured much throughout the lite version. Once your character is complete, you are quickly seen off by your family and encounter another caravan. Here, you are given a tutorial on how to play the game. You learn how to fight, how to use magic, etc. How do you do it? You press A. Want to use your weapon? Press A. Defend? Press A. Use magic? Press A. Use a strong attack? Hold A. Basically, the combat in this game is far from rivetting. You use the L and R buttons to switch what you want to do and that’s all there is to it really. Monsters usually die within a couple of hits, though the final bosses obviously take longer.
Tumblr media
I think the worst part of this game for me is the world map. The player can guide the caravan to different places on the map. Not only are there dungeons, there are also shopping areas and character events. The latter happens super randomly, it will interupt the game as you’re bringing the caravan from one location to another. The map is a little hard to navigate (at least on the switch) so I would often find myself going to the wrong place by accident. Normally this wouldn’t be a very big deal, the thing is, every time you go somewhere or a cutscene occurs, there’s a loading screen in between. The screen goes blank for about 20 seconds with a little moogle animation in the corner. So if you go to the wrong place and have to click out, guess what you have to sit through again? That’s right, the loading screen. It gets really annoying after awhile. Since the game is just a remaster, you would think it wouldn’t take so long to load.
Tumblr media
I wasn’t sure what the dungeons would look like going in, but they’re not very ‘dungeon like’ at all. However, I would say this is more of an observation than a critique. The first is called the River Belle path and is actually quite pretty, as the name suggests. The music is rather soothing and since the monsters are fairly easy to beat the experience is almost relaxing. The only annoying part about the dungeons is if you get out of range of the crystal chalice you start to lose health. There’s a moogle that will carry it around for you, so basically you can’t go any faster than him. This definitely can get tedious, especially if it happens while you’re fighting a monster, but there are definitely worse game mechanics out there.
Tumblr media
All in all, I think that this game has both good and bad to it. It definitely could be fun for kids, the dungeons aren’t very complex so they probably won’t get too frustrated playing through it. There are also probably a lot of adults who played it back when it came out the first time in 2003 and enjoy it for nostalgia reasons. However, I still don’t suggest buying the game and here’s why. While Square Enix wants to charge you $29.99 to play on the Nintendo Switch or PS4, the game is available for free on IOS and Android. If you ask me, that hardly seems fair. The App Store warns that the game includes In-App purchases however, it says right in the description that you can, “Play up to 13 dungeons for free!”
If you’d like to pay thirty dollars for a phone app, be my guest. I can genuinely see why someone might want to support their favorite gaming company in this way. Maybe they want to experience the game on the big screen. To each their own. Personally, I’d pass on this one or play it on my phone for free. There are multiplayer options that might make the dungeons a bit more interesting (I didn’t use them because I don’t have friends who game). Since I liked the dungeons as is I don’t really feel the need to include that in the review. So, what do you think of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles? I’m a little disappointed but, at least I still have Final Fantasy VII.

Nintendo Announces Hyrule Warriors Sequel
Tumblr media
Lately, the internet has been abuzz with Legend of Zelda rumors. First, was Amazon’s botched Skyward Sword listing, which mysteriously disappeared without explanation. Next, with the announcement of the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection, people began to speculate that perhaps a similar collection would be released for Zelda’s 35th anniversary. Additionally, there’s been little news about the Breath of the Wild sequel, unsurprisingly considering the possible setbacks likely caused by COVID-19.
Because of this, what Nintendo actually announced seemed completely out left field and that is Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a Breath of the Wild prequel. The game is set to release on November 20, 2020 but since no one was expecting it, the reception by fans is mixed to say the least. Generally “Warriors” style games aren’t considered to be canon, however the producer at KOEI, Yosuke Hayashi, did say that, “Unlike the previous Hyrule Warriors games, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was developed by working closely with the Zelda team in every step of the process, including gameplay direction, graphics, world, and all dialogue.” It’s hard to get more canon then that.
The previous games, included characters from a variety of Zelda games, and the player was given the option to choose who they wanted to play as. Each had a variety of abilities and different weapons that could be used but generally, the player would be hacking and slashing (quite literally). Players can fight a variety of enemies, with the goal of taking keeps. It sounds unlikely that the scope of characters featured in the new game will be as large, however Breath of the Wild does have a large cast that can be featured. From the trailer it’s clear that we’ll be able to use Link, Zelda, and the four champions but it’s likely other characters will be featured as well. The previous Hyrule Warriors features Ganondorf as a fighter; it would be pretty interesting to fight as the calamity, itself! While that’s not likely, perhaps a younger version of Impa will appear, or an older Purah, maybe even Kass’ teacher will feature. Warriors games have also been known to introduce their own characters, the first Hyrule warriors introduced Lana, Cia, and Linkle.
Tumblr media
Since the developers were working closely with the Zelda team, it’s possible that the typical “Warriors” tropes won’t present themselves. Sometimes these games can get pretty corny (anyone here ever played Fire Emblem Warriors?) but hopefully the involvement of the Zelda team will prevent that. Ideally, fans will be able to learn more about the characters and world of Breath of the Wild and perhaps the events of this game will even be mentioned in the sequel. It’s hard to say for now but luckily Nintendo doesn’t intend to keep us in suspense for long.
Tumblr media
So what do you think about the upcoming Hyrule Warriors game? Personally, Warriors games aren’t my favorite, but they can be a lot more fun if you recruit a friend to join you. Not a lot of switch games allow for multiplayer for one system, so that’s a feature I really appreciate. Perhaps the next update will give fans a better idea of whether this is a game they would like to invest in or not.

Marvel Comes to Fortnite
The season 4 battle pass is here and with it comes new emotes, wraps, gliders, harvesting tools, back blings, and best of all, new skins and styles! This time, the battle pass is Marvel themed, meaning you can unlock some of your favorite super heroes as skins as you level up. If you’re new to Fortnite, now is the perfect time to start playing. The battle pass does cost $8.00 (thanks to new lower prices), but the game itself is free. The skins and other prizes allow you to customize the game and does not give players any advantage. With that out of the way, let’s cover the highlights.
Level One: Unlocks Thor Skin.
Tumblr media
Level Four: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Twelve:  100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Nineteen:  100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Twenty Two: Unlocks Jennifer Walters Skin.
Tumblr media
Level Twenty Six:  100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Twenty Nine: Gamma Overload Emote (Turn into She-Hulk)
Tumblr media
Level Thirty One: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Thirty Two: Sapling Groot Back Bling.
Level Thirty Eight: Unlocks Groot Skin.
Tumblr media
Level Forty One: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Forty Six: Battle Brother Emote (Appearance from Rocket Raccoon)
Tumblr media
Level Forty Seven: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Fifty Two: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop
Level Fifty Three: Unlocks Storm Skin.
Tumblr media
Level Sixty Five: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Sixty Seven: Unlocks Doctor Doom Skin.
Tumblr media
Level Seventy: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Seventy Eight: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Eighty: Unlocks Mystique Skin.
Tumblr media
Level Eighty Eight: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Ninety Two:  100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level Ninety Three: Unlocks Tony Stark Skin.
Tumblr media
Level Ninety Nine: 100 V-Bucks that can be used in the item shop.
Level One Hundred: Suit Up Emote (Turn into Iron Man)
Tumblr media
In addition to this, there are also the Wolverine Challenges. As the season progresses, we will learn more about how to unlock the different prizes associated with these challenges. Most importantly, in one month there will be a challenge that unlocks a Wolverine skin!
You may have noticed that there are enough V-Bucks to cover a battle pass. As long as you purchase one battle pass, if you save the V-Bucks you earn, you can purchase the next one without spending real money.
However some skins from the item shop can be pretty tempting to purchase. It is likely that more Marvel characters will show up in the item shop such as the Silver Surfer, who is currently available. According to data miners and leakers, it is possible that Spider Man, War Machine, and Black Panther may also show up though there’s no guarantee.
All of these developments are very exciting, but ultimately don’t have much of an impact on game play. Personally, I prefer to have the battle pass as it gives me motivation to level up and unlock new things. However, it’s definitely not necessary and it’s still fun to see other people, either as allies or enemies, dressed up as cool characters. The new season brings new challenges and all sorts of interesting changes in the game’s setting, such as the robots strewn about or the crash landed jets. There are new bosses that you can take on and cool new weapons that you can obtain by beating them. All of that is totally free! Which skins are you most excited for? Are you going to buy the battle pass? Whatever you decide, this season is looking to be the best one yet.

Skyward Sword Switch Port Leaked (Again)?
Tumblr media
It’s been almost two years since, Eiji Aonuma “jokingly” suggested Skyward Sword might recieve a port during a LOZ concert. The internet went wild, with most fans opposed to the idea since the game wasn’t exactly what you’d call well recieved. Nintendo was quick to shut these rumors down, the Link’s Awakening remake was announced several months later, and most people seemed to move on.
For awhile, we all believed that Skyward Sword would be consigned to live out it’s days on a dead console, condemned by Nintendo’s insistance on incorporating motion controls into basically every game. Just because technology exists, doesn’t mean it’s worth using. Anyways, it’s a shame the game flopped since it’s the first one listed on the official Zelda timeline. Such an important story deserves better treatment than a 2011 Wii game. However, Skyward Sword is currently trending on Twitter. So what happened?
Amazon UK recently posted a listing for Skyward Sword on their site with a release date of Janurary 2030. This isn’t much evidence to go on, but combined with a Legend of Zelda producer mentioning it not too long ago, it’s definitely not impossible. Games take years to develop so it’s possible Nintendo was working on it or making plans to work on it back then. Additionally, the pandemic has obviously had an impact on the company’s ability to develop games. It’s possible some projects might be easier to work on remotely, and maybe Skyward Sword is one of them.
Until Nintendo responds, no one will really know for sure but it’s fun to speculate. It didn’t take too long for them to comment last time so hopefully we’ll hear more soon. In the meantime, there’s still plenty of hype for Breath of the Wild 2, which was announced at E3 2019.

Fire Emblem Heroes: Choose Your Legends 4 Releases August 18th
Who Are the Heroes?
If you’re only a casual FEH player, you may not have participated in the voting for Choose Your Legends 4. Unsurprisingly, Three Houses dominated this time around. In the Women’s Division, Lysithea recieved second place and Edelgard recieved first. In the Men’s Division, Claude recieved second place and Dimitri first. Finally, these four heroes are joining the roster.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Luckily, everyone will get one free summon, so if you only have one favorite, you’re set. However, if you’re looking to recieve all four, it’s not as impossible as hopelessly summoning over and over. Players will be able to get a free summon of their choice every forty summons. Hopefully, you’ll pull at least one or two of the heroes before you hit forty. But if the scales aren’t tipped in your favor, you may have to summon 120 times. Most of us don’t even have 120 orbs!
Tips to Get Orbs:
Log in daily. There’s almost always a free orb (sometimes more than one) just for entering the game.
If you haven’t already, beat the main story and paralogues. Normal mode especially, is easy orbs and can usually be completed on autobattle. Hard and lunatic modes aren’t quite as easy, lunatic especially can be time consuming. However, the orbs really add up this way, so it’s definitely worth the effort.
At least once a month, there will be quests that involve beating the latest lunatic paralogues or main story chapters on lunatic with a certain type of hero. For P49-1 you’ll need an axe ally, for P49-2 you’ll need a sword ally, for P49-3 you’ll need a lance ally. Completing these if you haven’t beaten the paralogues already will get you six orbs total. If you have beaten them, you’ll get three orbs total.
The Three Heroes Quests can currently net you six orbs. They also award the heroes needed to complete the quests. Since Jagen, Cain, and Abel (the current heroes) are pretty common summons, you probably already have copies. I reccomend using those, rather than the ones the challenge gives you since they are only three stars and will need to be leveled to complete the quests..
Beating the hard and lunatic stratums a certain number of times on the training tower will get you one orb per straum. Note: all four allies must survive.
For the tenth stratum if you beat it fifteen times with an all armored team, an all calvary team, an all flying team, and an all infantry team you can earn one orb per team. Personally, I feel this isn’t worth it. It’s pretty easy with a decent armored team, sometimes this can even be done on autobattle. However, with the other three it’s much harder.
The Feh’s Summer quests can get you ten orbs.
Get K/Os with Alfonse, Shareena, and Anna. These three units are free and even if they aren’t five stars yet, this can easily be done in beginner mode in the arena or a variety of other places.
Win 4 arena matches in a row to earn one orb.
Check out the special maps. The normal event map always has a free orb if you beat it and since it’s normal, autobattle will usually do the trick. Best part is, this map doesn’t take up any stamina.
Additionally, the Bound Hero Battle also gives out orbs. If you’re having trouble and you swallow your pride, there are youtube channels that will provide guides to beat the bound hero battles. My favorite channels are KumaTheta and Phoenixmaster1.
Some of the tactics drills also have orbs as rewards for completing them. In Basics, it’s pretty easy to beat these without relying on an outside source. Skill Studies and Grandmaster are definitely harder. Some youtubers will also provide guides on these.
Check out the events. Currently there’s a Tempest Trials event. Even if you haven’t been getting the orbs from participating daily, earning all fifty thousand points will net you 42 orbs. However, this event currently only has two days left so be sure to hurry!
In addition to the Tempest Trials, the Rokkr Sieges are starting soon. Participating will get you one orb.
Participating in the Resonant Battles will get you one orb.
Check out the Multi-Map Battles. My favorite mode is the Chain Challenge. If you’re in lunatic mode, orbs are always the awards for these. Two for a shorter chain and four for a longer chain. These definitely can get tricky, usually I will rely on a powerful armored unit (Christmas Sothis is my favorite) to take hits, and use reposition to move them around. This doesn’t gurantee victory but it’s a solid strategy for sure.
Whatever you do, don’t buy orbs it’s not worth it!

How to Get Free Themes for Persona 5 Royal
If you love Persona as much as I do, you may have noticed a lack of themes and avatars in the playstation store. This is made worse by the fact that in Japan, each character has a (buyable) theme of their own. Don’t start making Japanese PS4 accounts just yet. If you live in the west, there’s a way to get all of these themes for a grand total of zero dollars.
Do you have Persona 5 Royal? Have you opted into reciving emails from Playstation? Well, that’s all you need to do to recieve the themes. The only other step is to play the game. It’s that easy! The themes were released in four different batches. Once you complete certain palaces, Playstation will send you a code that you can use to unlock the first three bactches of themes. A fourth code will be emailed if you platinum the game. There was a rumor going around that the themes were only accessible this way in Europe but, that’s actually not true.
The pictures included below are only one of two screens that are part of the theme. Also, they move so if you want to get a better idea of what they look like check this out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Vr4rpW0RNE (One character featured in the thumbnail is a spoiler and is the first to play in the video).
