MIA with the flu🤢
Guyssss!! Wtf is going on? I seriously took one little rest day and since the last 3 days I’ve had to miss out on the gym cause I contracted the flu...😞. Sadly I know it came from the gym. I have only been back to the gym for a week and I already get sick. This happens all the time at the YMCA I go to. My kid doesn’t even get sick at his day care but he will get sick from the Y. Either they need to clean it more or I need to boost my immune system.

Anyways, I’ve been living off of chicken noodle soup 🍲 and Gatorade🍹 for the past 3 days. I woke up at 1 o’clock in the morning to let he puppy out and I was drenched in sweat and today I think is the worst day of them all. So wish me a quick recovery so I can get back into the gym!!💪🏼🏋🏻‍♀️💊😷

I did at least sneak in a nap 😴 with the cats 🐈 so that was refreshing!! Well I hope everyone is out there smashing their goals and not catching the flu! 🙌🏼

Another Day. Another Workout in the books!
Today I smashed yet another workout. I got to the gym late due to my crazy morning. But I made the best of it. Today was leg day for everyone it seemed, so I had to improvise. I wasn’t able to get ahold of a squat rack, so I did goblet squats instead. My legs are on fire but I think my swim helped stretch them out. here’s my workout for today:
Monday Nov. 27th 2017
Leg Extensions: 1x12 @ 35/40/45 lbs
Leg Curls: 1x12 @ 30/35/45 lbs
Goblet Squats: 1x12 @ 15 / 17.5 / 20 lbs
Seated Leg Press: 3x12 @ 140 lbs
End Swim: 1,000 yards
Calories Burned: 550 Calories
It wasn’t a bad workout. I wished I had more time in the beginning to do a pre cardio workout to get my heart rate up. Also I need to either tighten my polar watch band before I swim or make sure there isn’t anything wrong with the one I have. When I’m swimming and I know my heart rate is clearly above 145 or even 160, it’s trying to read my swim suit because it keeps reading 119 which I know when my heart is thumping and my face is red as a tomato there is no way I’m at a 119 haha. So I’ve just been calculating the swim the best to my knowledge. Could be more, could be a little less...but today I’m saying 550 is what I burned...however I think it was more but I will never know for sure. Hope everyone had a great day and got their workouts in and smashed them! Thanks for all the support lately...makes me feel awesome!!!
I saw some more weight loss today, but I’m not going to post in my weight loss page until Wednesday when I do another official weigh in!

Today would’ve been a day the old me would’ve threw in the towel at 7 AM. Told myself the morning was too hectic that I couldn’t possibly make it to the gym. By 8 AM I had cleaned up 9 piles of dog bile🤢, called the vet to get advice on said dog, had to separate puppy and our older dog because over excitement meant more bile, gotten breakfast for all animals and children, made coffee, and now finally sitting down an hour later to drink said coffee☕️. I luckily got a cup just in time before the last call chimed on my coffee pot. I still have to get both kids in their day clothes, myself in my gym clothes, and pack my sons lunch🍎, let the dogs out, and get to the gym💪🏼...in 25 minutes⏰. It’s a Monday right?! Oh and did I mention today of all days is a leg day 😅🏋🏻‍♀️ what am I doing to myself hahaha???! Well at least my gym bag is packed! That’s one thing I don’t have to fret about! Wish me luck? Side note: my 16 month old is trying to sing old McDonald...and it’s adorable!💕

Curse you Thanksgiving! Up 2 lbs. It’s ok though. I enjoyed the good food and company. However it’s time to get my shit together and my ass back to the gym. Today is upper body: chest, back, and arms. All ready in my gym clothes and ready to smash today’s workout...using my weight gain as motivation today. Also going to be drinking plenty of water to flush out anything lingering. Hope everyone is having a great day and is out there smashing their fitness/weight loss goals!!

Today my legs are on fire. It’s been 2 days since my last workout and today is upper body. I’m so sore but I’m so ready to smash my workout. Lifting is one of those exercises that no matter how fat I am, I feel so strong afterwards. 
I started swimming again. It’s a lot harder to get back into after years of not doing it instead of a few months. After I lifted I went and swam and I thought I was going to drown. I even thanked the life guard cause I seriously thought my arms were going to give out. I have a lot of rebuilding to do. 
Wish me luck..today is another “get shit done” kind of workout! I’ll be posting workouts daily. Also I’m going to weigh myself to see where Thanksgiving took over and where I need to make improvements. Fuck me hahaha.
