despite everything, ga ming knew he was lucky.

he certainly didn’t feel like he was. aside from his continued streak of bad luck at his performances, you never attended any of his shows and your vessels never gave him so much as a second glance. you’ve walked right by him on the street before—and yes, he knows you don’t ‘see’ most of liyue, but he was in the middle of a dance. he’s certain that word must have spread at least somewhat, but even when he put on a show during the last lantern rite, you didn’t attend. it was as if you didn’t even know he was there, skipping his meager stage to meet up with yun jin.

part of him wondered if you simply disliked liyue, but that was easily proven false. you took the time to accompany chongyun on his patrols, xiangling was more than happy to talk about when you’d helped her in a competition in mondstat, and you’d even fetched ingredients for the wangsheng consultant last year. it was the simple fact that you had nothing against liyue, and he was an outlier.

and yet, he was blessed. vision wielders were rare on their own, and only a thin sliver of them had constellations. he was incredibly lucky to be one of the few within your spotlight of attention, but he never felt the love that was supposed to come with it. yes, he had a vision, the lion carved on the back a figure he’s long memorized, but even the latest of liyuen rotations had a chance to exist by your side. though the others always tried to reassure him, their words fell flat. xingqiu had recieved his vision long before he became a vessel, but he had several turns in the sky to try. chongyun was largely ignored and ningguang was rarely missing from the jade palace, but that information didn’t help as much as they thought it did.

he didn’t care that he wasn’t a vessel (as much as one couldn’t care about such a thing) so much as he was ignored. you fought by ningguang’s side and helped yanfei out of the chasm, but he’d never even heard his name thrown your direction. it could be argued that he was being selfish or even egotistical, but he didn’t think so. sword and strongbox secure transport agency was a well-known name throughout liyue, and yet you’d never so much as heard a rumor. it didn’t affect his business—nor did he want your attention for business purposes—but with you helping a film show (at least now he knew you enjoyed theater) in fontaine, he may or may not have been hoping that yilong wharf’s name might have been passed your way.

it hadn’t been, though. his days went on and he continued his rounds as usual, doing his best to promote his dance and maybe getting a few mora thrown his way in return if he was lucky.

but that was fine. irritating, sure, but fine. liyue was in the tail end of preparations for this year’s lantern rite, and he was set on attending. as soon as the ministry of civil affairs opened applications for performers, he’d done his best to secure himself a stage. nobody had given him a secure word, though, saying that it was “up to divine guidance” as if your traveler hadn’t taken the transport up to the jade chamber last week. yes, you often found other things to do during lantern rite, digging into liyue’s past, but you still attended the scheduled events. you still walked the streets and saw the stalls, and there was no way that the entirety of the main road was already taken up when he’d made a point of asking early.

it was because they saw him as a guard first and a dancer second. most people did, and he was lucky they’d given him uncertainty over a guaranteed rejection. the only reason they did at all was because of the constellation etched into his vision, and he was lucky to have that too. he was lucky to have this chance when most street performers could only dream of performing at the lantern rite.

‘lucky.’ it was an accurate word, but one he was beginning to get tired of hearing.

it was fine, though. he was determined—his vision blazed as he left the ministry’s office, a constant warmth at his side—to prove himself, determined to perform for you. he didn’t know when his chance in the stars would be, or when he’d have his time by your side, but he would make the most of each day until then. when, not if, he did, he would do everything in his power to make the best impression possible.

he gave a few polite waves to various merchants as he walked through liyue, making the familiar trek over the bridge and past the gate. the millelith didn’t stop him, and he didn’t stop to say hello, only lingering long enough to acknowledge them with a quick nod. he knew liyue’s hills and they knew he did too, easily navigating to a quiet, flat space of plain. the threat of hillichurls was a constant outside the harbor, but he didn’t let that stop him, confident despite the growing twilight.

ga ming reached into his inventory and pulled on his mask, hands easily finding the controls for the massive puppet. he took a breath, then began to dance, his feet sweeping over the quiet grass.

he had no guarantee when or if he’d receive the chance to chance to win your favor. but if you chose to have him on your stage, he was determined to put on the best show you’d ever seen.

Teyvat is aware of their divine using them as a vessel. Teyvat is aware Celestia cannot defeat you either… As Celestia was obviously made by you. However, you have some concerning habits… Some are very very cute in your harem’s eyes ~ While some makes them worry for your health.

You have a problem with making your Genshin self-insert insert having such a gruesome backstory, it makes them wanna cry and hug your self-insert in their world. Apparently, your insert is indeed inserted in the game— ahah, when you shut off the screen and log off of course ♡

Perhaps, let’s say Zhongli would pick up on how you eat a lot of food… It amazes him. You even have a lot of mora, that you only spend it on food and nothing else. It… Does make him worry— But Yanfei would definitely sign the chefs to make your favorite dishes, just in case ~

Xingqiu would pick up on how you write an unfamiliar word called “Fan-fictions”. It has some Japanese words such as “Yandere” and “Tsundere”. He listened further into your works, and goodness, he has never felt so called out in his entire life when you specifically explained what Yanderes are. If you liked writing about Yanderes… You wouldn’t mind him being one for you, would you?

Childe would laugh his ass off whenever he hears you talking constantly to yourself, pretending as if you’re responding to them. But this makes him think you’re trying to communicate with him and Teyvat, makes his heart sore so much. You’re so sweet and acknowledging everyone, specifically him. ♡

Characters such as Pantalone and Baizhu have a realization you love spending Primogems on wishes, and always wasting them. So what do they do? Mischievously somehow gain Primogems for you, which you didn’t complain about at all.

People also have heard about your hatred towards Albert for being a creepy stalker. Now, this made Mondstadt furious at Albert. Not only does he stalk poor Barbara, he even dared to boldly disappoint you. (Barbatos killed him ehe)

Barbara has never felt so loved this much, she wants to bawl her eyes out — to show how much she loves and adores you.

Characters like Razor and Raiden Ei have come to realization you love sleeping around so much, they’ve gotten to know you sleep in work from time to time whenever it’s break. They take this advantage to make a setup room for you, where either of them can hold you in their arms and cuddle as they sleep against you.

Beidou, Lisa and Yae Miko would often see that you especially get easily injured. I’m not saying they’re the only ones terrified— trust me, many people in Teyvat are going to kill whoever hurt you,,, but they are the ones who ends up hearing about your condition. They’re so worried when they find out you don’t scream in pain, nor do you care about it because you’ve always been clumsy since childhood. They’re so worried, they might have a heart attack someday.

The Adeptus’ pick on the fact you like listening to “8-bit” version of music… It sounds hard to play, but they can’t deny you did have taste in music. Makes the guy from Lantern lite quest more inretested with you, and wishes to know you more! Or more so… Perhaps Enjou would take interest in this.~ He’s just as silly as you, why not?

Dainsleif notices how you stare at his character with adoration and love his design oh so much, that he also knows you love drawing, just like Albedo. Hearing this, Albedo loves you to death, like… Literally.

Aether hearing you’re also unstoppable that even Unknown God can’t stop you? Goodness this boy is falling in a deep rabbit hole for falling for you~!

Paimon sees you as a mother/father figure too honestly… Paimon relates to you so much about food, and always gets so happy when you agreed by getting food. Despite your tired expression, she just wants to cry because you did not once call her an “Emergency food”.

How about your complex theories? Tighnari and Al-haitham will have a whole set of a store with written details about your theories. You did die when Teyvat was made, so makes sense why you didn’t know everything. (…. You ate popcorn and watched your show as Archon war was a thing.) Every theories, is about very interesting things.

Snezhnaya and Tsaritsa would be so happy when they find out your world was filled with snow (to those who live in a snowy weather like me), and would flex it off to other nations like cocky little bastards. They see this as a blessing, and would try getting to know your culture by just the fact you and them have snow. That would mean you wouldn’t be cold in their place, right?

How about Fontaine being in horror when they find about your Creepypasta and FnaF books? They’ll keep themselves aware of the woods and will isolate any innocent beings from anywhere that involves woods and trees. Jeff the killer and Jeffrey C. Hodek (canon Jeff) definitely traumatized numerous of the people in Fontaine, considering their skins got burned a lot.

Yelan being also surprised she and other rich people in Teyvat, are in fact not the richest people in their own world after learning that… Moras aren’t actually real money? I can see Mona laughing at their misery, even though she’s sad she doesn’t exist literally in your world. How the fuck is she supposed to kiss hug you huh?

Venti and Nahida being so drawn to your morning voice, hearing you cursing as they didn’t know what the meanings behind those languages meant. Nahida would stare at your face in awe, listening to your stories as Venti would too, making a song about it probably— only for it to go downfall when they realize you occasionally hurt yourself in work. They’re horrified. YOU FELL OFF THE STAIRS??! They’re gonna faint.

Cyno who is in love with a heated face when he learns you love jokes, hearing you making a dark humor that just has him down bad for you— and ends up laughing. Your dark humor never goes too far, and he just loves it that you can accept his jokes. He is definitely going to be very loyal towards you…

Imagine Scaramouche/Wanderer lovingly gazing at your side view as you try to do makeup real quickly before playing your game. It didn’t matter. He loved your little habit of always doing your makeup first— and then play. He’s patient, and will always try his best… Ends up killing Hilichurls under one second, oops~

With everyone in Teyvat learning about your habits, learning about your talents…

Abandoned by The Creator{Sagau}

Summery: After your friend decided to move on from genshin they give you their acc to play with.

Some context before reading!!: in this sagau the characters see their original owner of the acc as the creator

Gene & Warnings: angst(?), fluff, themes of abandonment, also I most likely misscharacterized some characters here and there!

After some more weeks they still haven't lost hope, they still waited in the same spot that they were left at. The creators mains started to panic wandering if they weren't enough for them, blaming themselves for what happened.

After a few days passed and still nothing, why isn't the creator coming back? Every single character was thinking why would they abandon them? We're they doing to low dmg? Weren't they good enough? Are they ok behind the screen? They couldn't think of any other reason why the creator was gone, at the 30th day of the creator not logging in the characters assumed that they were just burned out and were just busy, they'll come back eventually.

But atlas they logged in! But it wasn't the creator that logged in, but it was you, they have heard of you when the creator would talk to you or text you, your characters would visit their world and defeat bosses together once in a while, but where's the creator? Why are you here instead of the creator? Where is the creator in the first place? Has the creator abandoned them? Everything was so confusing but they still were obeying your commands (well not everyone) doing the daily commissions quests etc. Some of them rebelled against your wishes, like for example:

Whenever you'd pres W to walk they would disobey and use their still or their burst out of spite just to annoy you,

or when you'd cook they would never give you a bonus or their specialty,

or whenever you'd enchant a artifact they would purposely try to get the artifact to land on flat defense or hp and never the substat you want.

But this rebellion wouldn't last for that long, because eventually they would notice the amount of effort you are putting on them, from the way you pamper them with new artifacts, new weapons or even giving them some precious constellations, some of them even got a place specifically made for them in the teapot.

But not every main reacted the same way to this major change

✧°These characters accepted the fact that the creator won't return and made peace with it and in the end accepted you as their new creator, for now they are enjoying the luxuries that you are gifting them, but there's still a hint of yearning for their first creator:

Kokomi, Kazuha, Albedo, Candice, Thoma, Yungin, Nilou, Ningguang, Xiangling, Yanfei, Layla.

✧°These characters accepted the fact that the creator won't return but they are still way too emotionally attached the the creator but they try to move on and be thankful that they have someone else to take care of them but they are afraid to get too attached to you:

✧°At first they refused that the creator isn't coming back, always hoping that one day they'll be back, but after a long period of time they accept that the creator just won't come back. They may have accepted this fact and might accept the fact that now you are the creator and cherish you but their harts will belong to the first creator and nobody else:

Ayaka, Jean, Nahida, Alhaitham, Beidou, Thoma, Barbara.

✧°These characters need a bit more time to process this huge change, they are still confused and unsure whether not to trust you, will you abandon them like the creator did? They are not sure but give them some time and they will warm up eventually:

Itto, Shenhe, Ganyu, Tighnari, Bennett, Ei, Xingqiu, Yelan, Kuki Shinobu, Sara, Lisa.

✧°These characters wouldn't show any sign of sadness or confusion but they feel betrayed beyond words, and how dare the creator abandon them! Doesn't the creator have at least pity on them? after what they have been though? They would most likely side with the new creator out of spite just to "show" the first creator what they are missing because they "choose" to abandon them:

THE SERIES REVAMP IS HERE

✧xingqiu✧-a creative writing major with a minor in literature, second born son of the CEO of Feiyun Corp. discovered his love and reading and writing at a young age. when he was 10 he wrote a fanfic as a joke but to his surprise it went viral. he forgot the account's password so he never got around to deleting it. comes off as an absolute gentleman, but he's actually a bit of a gremlin.

"me? putting chili powder into chongyun's food? what baseless accusations are these-okay fine, i did, but how else is he supposed to survive living with xiangling?-"

✧xiangling✧-attends a culinary school nearby teyvat university. she does the cooking but not cleaning for all her roommates. she has a pet dog named guoba, and her father owns a famous restaurant. she's known for her weird sounding recipes, but they actually taste really good (except for the slime smoothies, that's an acquired taste)

"so we have jueyun chilis, fowl meat, now we just need some some slime secretations!"

✧chongyun✧-mythological studies major with a minor in theology. he went through a ghost hunting phase when he was younger, which turned into an interest in mythology and folklore as he got older. he met xingqiu in elementary school and they've been friends ever since (even though xingqiu constanly tries to sneak him spicy food)

"i know for a fact that xingqiu put jueyun chilis in that"

✧yanfei✧-a student at a law school nearby xiangling's culinary school. she's great at winning arguments/debates, and already has tons of internship offers from many different law firms. she has tons of rules/laws memorized just in case, and can apply them to any situation

"Ah, this weather's got me in the mood for reciting some laws. Let's see... "Commercial Law of Liyue," Chapter 27, Section 6, Article 3 stipulates that— Wait, what was it...? Oh my goodness, I've completely forgotten! What is wrong with me today...?"

✧hu tao✧-forensics science major, and her family owns a funeral parlor (frequently advertises it, telling people that she can hook them up with a free coffin). a bit eccentric, but she means well. she's also a horror and true crime fanatic (criminal minds, forensic files etc.)

"YOU! YES YOU! what if i told you, that if you plan with wangsheng funeral parlor today you can get a discount on your future coffin!"

✧gaming✧-dance major, and a part time uber driver and the designated driver for every outing with his friends. he's the type of driver that talks a ton to his passenger, but he'll shut up if needed. most of his passengers mispronounce his name upon pick up, and he's very used to jokes about his name.

"hi i'll be your driver for today-hm? yes, my name is actually gaming"

he is Teyvat's Most Divorced Milf

he owns 7 copies of the same outfit and 1 of hu tao's outfit in his size that she kept trying to make him wear because it would be "cute if the funeral parlor was matching" (He doesnt wear it)

he used to just have his Tits Out all the time but realized when hed be giving orders to the adepti literally nobody would pay attention so he started wearing a shirt

knew shenhe when she was a kid and she would tug on his ponytail all the time and also bite his spear and the spear still has teethmarks in it to this day

every few centuries or so venti and zhongli get divorced again (for fun), the most recent time they tried to get a divorce (lantern rite) they couldn't afford it because Yanfei started hiking up her prices exponentially because she was sick of dealing with their bull shit

he has mastered the art of manipulation which is how he manages to almost always buy everything for the price of free and the manipulation in question is smiling at them shoujo manga love interest style, OR using childes fatui bank funds that he never bothered to change the PIN on, btw childe is in huge trouble with the harbingers for using exponentially more than his allotted share of fatui funds, thats why the last time he was in an event (the one with yoimiya) he was talking about how he has to keep an eye on his spending

xingqiu writes in-universe RPF about Rex Lapis under an alias, and gets into multi-page heated arguments in the comments with keqing (also commenting anonymously) about the characterization in the middle of which is user TartagliaLapis asking if he takes character x reader commissions. xiao went to the AO3 message board or whatever in the dead of night when no one can see him to read the rex lapis fanfiction then he adds another comment like "Rex Lapis would not fucking say that"

zhongli and baizhu play mahjong together with old grandmas at 5 in the morning #enrichment

the first time that zhongli painstakingly made almond tofu for xiao he didnt even eat it because he was like Rex Lapis Made This For Me. I Must Treasure This Forever And Preserve His Culinary Creation For All Of Eternity. and he put it in like one of those glass cases you put anime figures in. next time zhongli visited him he was like Oh dear... was the almond tofu not to your liking? Im sorry :( and xiao almost kills himself right then and there but hes like No my lord it was delicious and perfect like everything you do and he smashes the case open and shoves the entire plate in his mouth and swallows it in one go and starts gagging and choking because he didnt even chew and probably swallowed some glass too and then he faints and wakes up in baizhus office and hes like wtf happened then he sees zhongli waiting by his bedside looking worried and he remembers what he just did and passes out again from the sheer embarrassment

About The Cultists II

How some members of the Temple of Liyue joined the cult, what they do at the cult, and where they went when they were told to leave.

Baizhu Bubu: Was introduced to the cult while searching for his missing daughter, and joined them shortly after discovering they saved her life. Spends his time performing check-ups on his fellow members, and if any medicine is required, then he'll give it to them at a seventy-five percent discount. Often lets his snake, Changsheng, wander about the Temple of Liyue. When told to move, he got a two-bedroom apartment for him and Qiqi, which is not only near his job, but also near a park. Currently owns and works as the sole doctor of the Bubu clinic, and is also the owner of the Bubu Pharmacy across the street.

Beidou Crux: Was introduced to the cult by Ningguang and Ganyu after her seventh time going to court, and joined shortly after losing her boating license. She spent a lot of time getting back on her feet, and mainly contributed by fishing up food for her fellow Believers. Eventually, she got her boating license back, started working on a shipping boat named the SS Alcor, and quickly climbed her way up to captain. She spends most of her time on that boat, and because of that, she's allowed to stay in the Temple of Liyue when she's in Teyvat City. Still gets in legal trouble, but oddly, her punishments are far lighter now...

'Childe Stutter': Was introduced to the cult when his team was instructed to investigate it. Originally infiltrated through a contact in the Church of Sneznhaya, and while his teammates were there, he slowly started to be swayed by the cult's beliefs. Thankfully, just as he realized this, his team leader decided to disperse the team throughout the different compounds, and he was sent to the Temple of Liyue. Currently works as a bank teller for a company named Northland Bank. After being told to get his own place, he got a house a few blocks away from Zhongli's new house.

Chongyun Yang: Was introduced to the cult through his Aunt Shenhe, but didn't join until he decided to run away from his abusive family. Spends his time trying to spread the word of Their Grace, which he mostly does by bringing peace to someplace or another. Never moved out of the Temple due to his age.

Ganyu Qilin: Was introduced to the cult by Rex Lapis himself during her college years, and joined shortly after mother did. Spends her time organizing various things, like food orders, taxes, and events, for not only the Temple of Liyue, but most of the other compounds as well. After her mother was turned into an Adeptus, she gained the title of 'Half-Adeptus'. Works as a secretary for the Keqing Yuheng at a city and urban planning company named Yuehai Industries. Due to her half-human status, she was not allowed to stay on the compound, so she moved into an apartment between her job and the Temple.

Hu Tao Wangsheng: Was introduced to the cult by Baizhu, but didn't join until after losing her grandfather. Spends her time trying to convince her fellow members to die, so they can finally meet Their Grace, planning how to convince, or just playing pranks on them. Also spends her time trying to get grieving families to join the cult. Works as the Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. When she was told to move out, she got a suburbian house in between her job and the Temple.

Keqing Yuheng: Was introduced to the cult by Ganyu, and only joined because Ganyu did. At first spent her time trying to subtly convince Ganyu to leave the cult with her, but similarly to Childe, has come to believe in Them. Still dislikes Visions, though, unlike her opinions of Their Grace, she has been open about this from the start. Spends her time training the teens and children of the cult with various physical exercises. Currently works as the CEO of an urban and city planning company named Yuehai Industries. Currently lives next to Ganyu.

Ningguang Tianquan: Was introduced to the cult by Rex Lapis himself during her college years, and joined when he convinced her it would help her with her money troubles. After joining the cult, she dedicated all of her time to it. And after learning that Rex Lapis was looking for representatives for his children, she tried her hardest to become one of them. But bittersweetly, was only rewarded the position of High Priestess. As the High Priestess of the Temple, she did not have to leave and get her own place, so she didn't. She currently works as a Judge at the Jade Courthouse.

Payton Paimon Via: Was introduced to the cult by her Aunt Lumine, just minutes before she moved into the Church of Mondstadt. Has spent five years there, but has yet to recieve a vision, due to the elders not knowing what Vision to give her. Is currently moving from compound to compound with her dad.

Qiqi Bubu: Was saved by a Temple of Liyue sub-faction named The Adepti, but didn't join until a few months later when she was reunited with her father Baizhu, partially due to the severity of the injuries she suffered. Spends a lot of her time either around the other children, physically exorcising to improve her bodily function, or mentally exercising to improve her short-term memory. Currently lives in an apartment in Teyvat City with her dad.

Shenhe Yin: Was saved by Cloud Retainer, a member of the Temple of Liyue's Adepti sub-faction, when she was a teen. Spends her time training to become an Adepti- a task that, when accomplished, will make her the first non-original member of the cult to gain such a rank. Because she's no longer a teen and not yet an Adepti, when Rex Lapis told everyone to find there own homes, she was forbidden from living in The Temple of Liyue or the Adeptal Domain. She was only permitted a few months to get a job- and she eventually found one as a Medium. Currently lives in a studio apartment in Teyvat City.

Xiangling Wanmin: Was introduced to the cult by Beidou, who talked her into joining over the course of a few months. Spends most of her time either cooking for the cult, coming up with new things to cook for them, or foraging and/or hunting for ingredients. Also spends a lot of time with a baby bear with downsyndrome that she adopted and named Guoba. Was forced to leave him with the cult when she had to move out. Currently lives with Xinyan and Yun Jin in an apartment nearby her job, Wanmin Restaurant, which she's the Restauranteur of.

Xiao Wangshuu: Was introduced to the cult by Rex Lapis during his teen years, and joined to escape his abusive father. His fighting prowess got him rewarded the title of Adeptus, and later got him the title of Yaksha- a council of five meant to lead the Adeptus. Sadly, the his fellow members were driven mad and murdered each other, and one of them mysteriously disappeared. As an Adeptus, he's one of the few to know Rex Lapis is safe and healthy. Also as an Adeptus, he was permitted to stay on the original compound chosen for The Creator's Grace, which has now been renamed to the Adeptal Domain. Although he doesn't; opting to spend his nights in a treehouse hidden nearby the Temple of Liyue.

Xingqiu Feiyun: Was introduced to the cult by Chongyun. And not wanting his friend to be living alone with strangers, he half-lied to, half-talked his parents into letting him follow his friend. But quickly fell in love with the dedicated yet simple people of the compound, and soon started to believe in Their Grace. Spends a lot of his time reading, or hanging out with the other teens and kids. Due to his age, he never had to move out of the Temple of Liyue.

Xinyan Rock: Was introduced to the cult by her friend Xiangling, but didn't join until Xiangling convinced her it would ease the numerous troubles in her life. Spends her time making or playing music for her fellow Worshippers. Currently works as a musician on YouTube and Twitch, and makes her money by streaming concerts. Currently lives in an apartment building together with Xiangling and Yun Jin.

Yanfei Xiezhi: Was introduced to the cult by her father, but didn't join until after she befriended Eula from the Church of Mondstadt. Almost joined the Church of Mondstadt, too, until she learned of the unfair rules in the Temple of Liyue. That, combined with her father being a member there, convinced her to change courses, so she could, at the very least, advise her fellow Believers on what to do. Currently works as a legal adviser for Xiezhi & Kuki General Law Firm, and currently lives in an apartment with her friend Eula, and Eula's friend Amber.

Yaoyao Rambler: Is the second child to be born into the cult, and the first one to be born with Adeptus blood, due to her mother being Streetward Rambler. Recently got her Dendro Vision, finally making her an official member of the cult. Spends most of her time hanging out with various members of the Temple of Liyue. Was allowed to stay at the Temple of Liyue due to her age, but not allowed to stay at the Adeptal Domain due to only having one Adeptus parent.

Yelan Yansheng: Was introduced to the cult by Ningguang, after serving as an anonymous informant for some of her lawyers. Joined shortly after making a deal with Ningguang to continue helping with legal cases. Spends a lot of her time with a fake smile on, helping cultists she's slowly starting to agree with... Works as the owner of the Yansheng Casino, although is seldom recognized when she's there. When she was told to move out, she had her Casino renovated so she could live there.

Yun Jin Heyu: Was introduced to the cult by Xinyan, and joined when she convinced her it would help free her from her sheltered childhood. Spends her time either performing for her fellow members, or writing new performances, thanks to them unintentionally inspiring her. Works as the head writer and performer at Heyu Opera House. Offers a fifty percent discount to all members of The Creator's Grace, so long as they contact her beforehand. Currently lives with her friend Xinyan, and Xinyan's friend Xiangling.

Zhongli Xiangsheng: Is currently hating his life. He's managed to kidnap you, and has you trapped in his basement (why did you trust him?). Hates that he has to make you food (he gives you one half-assed sandwich a day). Hates that he has to take out your waist (the basement has no toilet; you're being forced to poop and pee in a trashbag with no trashcan). His only relief is when he takes out his anger on you-- and he's starting to hate that, too (You feel like you're going insane)...

Sagau and what that character would feel when they realize you hate them. Part 1

Characters: Childe ft: Yanfei and various others

I have/had grudges against them after incidents in their banners and so I thought I'd make a short drabble or head canon abt how they'd feel about how I treat/treated them. This is part one and ends with part 2 which is another character.

Warnings: OOC little shits and based on fics I've read, also not proofread, is this considered angst? brief descriptions of violent tendencies and slight body horror? (idk, i searched it up and I'm still confused but im pretty sure i should add it just in case)

ALSO REMINDER BEFORE YOU ATTACK ME: I don't rlly hate them as a character, it's just my luck I hate and I had to blame someone-

Childe: [getting him on his 3rd banner] *I may or may not be showing off a character* [Why did you come home instead of her?] Denial is the first stage of grief. Because you really don't mean it right? I mean, you leveled him up to 60! it mustn't be that bad right? You didn't level him up just for the free fates, right? You gave him artifacts even if they're not his right set and aren't just leftovers- Right? You started wishing on his banner again sighing in frustration, only getting 4-star weapons and occasionally, Chongyun and Ninnguang. You were getting more irritated by every wish but you stopped and went to farm more primogems. But you didn't have enough time. You just had to get him the day before his banner ended. You switched characters and put him on your team for the first time. Your team consisted of Xingqiu, Fischl, Zhongli, and him. He greets everyone excitedly with a smile filled with relief as they introduced themselves. That smile was wiped off of him instantly. "How...I had only just..." You jumped off a cliff using him. You revive him right after, the feeling was shocking to him. His thoughts were erratic. He died- and he was brought back to life just like that- You drop off again. This time he could tell how every bone cracked in his body. You teleported to a statue of the seven, reviving him once more. And just as he was processing what was going on, you jumped off for the 3rd time. Hate. You hate him. You hate him. You hate him. You hate him. You hate him. You hate him. You hate him. You hate him. After the nth fall, you stop and switch him out of the team. He was just so dumbfounded. You fought him as the traveler countless times before and he didn't mind the countless defeats because every time you visit the Golden house, you were able to defeat him faster and stronger, he even felt so proud of you- yet this... this was the first time he felt so afraid of you. It was a mere fall but he couldn't move to even open up his wind glider and fell to his death countless times. And then you just revived him so easily each time. It was a sign that you really are Teyvat's god, and he feared you. Anger. Pink hair, white antlers. Always has a big book with her. He's been staring. He can't help it. You already had her in his banner early on, yet why were you so upset when he came home? "WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT YANFEI?!" Was all he could think about. She's just a damn 4-star, how is she better than him? He watched as you spoiled her with level-up materials and talent ascension materials. You even farmed the Crimson Witch domain just for her. Gave her the best weapons, and the best artifact stats. He watched as your team slowly died out for her materials. Watched until she reached level 90. Watched until she could easily obliterate enemies with 4 simple moves, all attacks being 10k or more. You were known for collecting each character's specialty food, even going as far as cooking it over and over again and even buying all the stock of a certain ingredient from the shop. But the only time you have his specialty is from a letter he gave you on his birthday. If he was violent in fights, he's even more violent now. If the enemy is already dead, he'll turn the corpse into bits until it's only blood that remains. He constantly seeks Zhongli for a fight, which Zhongli didn't mind until he started visiting almost every day. He tries to talk it out with Childe but- "THEY GOT YOU ON YOUR BANNER WHEN THEY DIDN'T EVEN WANT YOU LIKE THEY DID WITH ME." "YET THEY TREAT US SO DIFFERENTLY." Zhongli couldn't reply. He was right after all. He was on your team almost every time ever since you had enough materials to get him up to a decent level. Childe just walks away as he processed what he said to the god. The silence was all there was that accompanied him on his walk. Bargaining. You liked him before. He knows that. You were really upset when you didn't get him the first time. He liked the idea of playing hard to get and so he played. But maybe he should've come home to you the first time because he didn't know if you loved him as much as the others. It took months for Venti's banner to go up and have him on your team, yet you persisted and finally got him on his 3rd banner. While in his 2nd banner, you clearly had lost interest already and just pulled to build up pity. "I came home later than expected, and now I'm just a disappointment..."

Depression. If you used to use him as a guinea pig, you even forget you have him in the first place now. You:[So who's going as Childe?] P2:[I want to try out Xiao again after a while so can you be Childe?] You:[Oh right, I have that ginger-] You like to "play co-op" and have other gods join your world. They're always the same ones, and he can hear their voices, unlike the other gods that come by for materials. He would see the "other Childe's" sometimes. He'd see them on a higher level than him, with better artifacts, better weapons, and better treatment. He didn't put much effort into his "fights" anymore, since you'd replace him with a character you like more anyways. The praise he heard you say to the others, the joy in your voice when you finish a commission with them, hearing those things were torture to him. One could say it was worse than being stuck in the abyss for merely half his life. Then you just placed him in your teapot, the emptiness eating away at him. Acceptance. He's been in the teapot for months now. The occasional visits from the others helped him carry on a bit. He was placed in the kitchen so he's been cooking things to pass the time or to serve others. He'd write letters more often to his family in the library, even reading a few books whenever. Yes, you hate him. But maybe, not entirely. Being able to stay in the teapot, do chores, and cook like he usually would for his family towards others, gave him a sense of calm. Maybe this was your way to show him that fighting and becoming strong to conquer the world isn't the only path to life. He still comes to spar with the others, teaching them things he knows even. The time he had away from you made him able to be vulnerable towards others, telling them what he's feeling sometimes, creating a bond with the others who he can confide in. Things he couldn't tell his family, he tells Kaeya, who has a somewhat same situation as him. He decides his good enough. Not for you, but for himself. And he's alright with that. Then Came The Dawn Pt. 3

Ever since the execution of the ‘imposter’ Ajax had not used his Vision. When he fought, he did so using only his Delusion. If asked why, he would have given a rather blunt answer. “If Celestia cannot be bother to intervene on behalf of the Creator; I want nothing to do with them or their gaze. I’ve no desire for a gift from gods who stand by while something so catastrophic occurrs. They can have their Vision back for all I care.”

The Fatui were a rather efficient force. However, there were some things that even they struggled to carry through. Which is why four whole weeks after Tartaglia sent out his subordinates to search Guyun Stone Forest; they finally had returned with news. The harbinger had wasted no time, setting out for the cluster of islets immediately.

Upon drawing near to them, the Sigil of Protection began to respond, a sort of invisible tugging urging him forward. He reached what seemed to be a plain and featureless wall of rock, but suddenly the talisman flew from his hand, floating in front of the wall, glowing brighter and brighter.

Childe’s eyes widened slightly as the wall seemed to melt into thin air, revealing a passageway behind it. Shaking off his surprise, he grabbed the now dull sigil and entered.

If his instincts were correct; Osial would know what happened to the so called “imposter”.

You were a bit surprised at how much of a conversationalist the overlord was, but the surprise was soon to give way to appreciation. He was happy to talk about anything and everything with you, from the mundane affairs of your life before waking up in Teyvat, to your slime companions you’d made on the run. You miss them dearly. In return he told you of times before the archon war, lore you’d never heard before coming straight from something who witnessed it transpire.

While on your journey of trying not to get murdered, you’d grown to not talk very much. In fact, it was your capture that brought the first words out of you in months; resigned words of disappointment aimed at the characters you’d once loved. You hadn’t been merciful with them, each statement had been crafted to cut deeply; each one aimed directly at their most sensitive areas.

“Guizhong would be disappointed.”

“So much for your ‘new age’ Kequing.”

“And here you claim to be a pacifist. Lying doesn’t make you look good Ganyu.”

“Judging someone for their appearance is rather hypocritical of you Xinyan.”

“I see your concept of chivalry is as fake as your pen name Xingqiu.”

“All the mora in the world won’t make you a better person Ningguang.”

“Did the other Yaksha murder people too, or is that just your personal habit Alatus?”

“You should get those red strings looked at Shenhe: they don’t seem to be working.”

“Last time I checked, a person who truly pursued justice wouldn’t go along with a witch hunt Yanfei.”

All of Liyue had been there, and you’d made sure to hit each and every one of the vision holders with your blades of harsh words.

Your words had been cruel, and you knew it. Occasionally you regretted them, but then the memory of what you’d gone through, of what they put you through, would come to the front of your mind and the guilt would wither and die on the spot.

Regardless, it was rare for you to speak after what you went for, and you appreciated Osial filling the silence.

While on the run you had loved silence. Silence meant peace: silence meant a moment of respite.

Now though, now that you no longer had the shadow of death lingering over you at every moment, the silence gave your mind ample time to reflect on your woes.

But Osial seemed to understand, as he gladly kept you company, and his companionship kept the demons in your mind at bay. It was only in his presence that you felt safe enough that you could fall asleep, and he would remain with you while you rested, there for you should the trauma of the hunt torment you with nightmares. Osial was always nearby when you awoke.

Which is why your heart was currently pounding loudly. You’d woken up, but he wasn’t here with you. You begin to frantically search for the overlord, only to freeze when you hear Osial seemingly speaking to someone. You know you should confront the situation head on, but you couldn’t work up the courage to do it. Interacting with someone aside from Osial isn’t something you think your ready for yet, and so you opt to stay hidden in the shadows.

“I cannot tell if you are simply a fool, or overly courageous. Walking into a god’s domain never ends well for mortals, so let’s get to the point immediately here. Who are you, and why have you sought me out?”

“Their Grace, you saved them right? They’re okay, right?”

Osial’s voice turns guarded and tense at the others words.

“And if I did? What does it matter to one of the mortals who forsook them?”

The seabed trembles ever so slightly, and the overlords voice hardens. If you likened his usual tone to a gentle current; this would be a raging maelstrom in contrast.

“If you have come to harm them further, I recommend you turn around and leave before I strike you down personally.”

The reply you hear is a familiar voice, but it takes a moment for you to place it. You cautiously peek into the room where the two are speaking, and sure enough, it’s exactly who you’d thought.

“…A-Ajax…?”

Both the god and the harbinger freeze before turning to face you. Osial visibly calms down at the sight of you alive and well, while Childe on the other hand takes you by surprise. There’s practically tears of relief in his eyes, and before you can even truly process that information, he kneels in front of you.

“Your Grace I’m so relieved to see you are safe.”

“H-Huh?”

The explanation that the ginger provided certainly helped you make sense of things, but that left you with a choice. A choice which in all honesty, you weren’t sure you’d be able to make. You had no shortage of options, but you didn’t know which was the truly “right” answer, and that’s assuming there was a right answer at all.

You could remain with Osial here in this small haven of peace you’d managed to find.

You and Osial could leave with the harbinger, and work with the Tsarita to overthrow both your mimic and Celestia, though a run-in with Morax would be certain; there’s no way he wouldn’t notice Osial being outside of the seal.

Or you could lash back at Liyue for the suffering it’s people caused you; paying back their cruelty with destruction.

While a small part of you wanted to pursue vengeance, to make them pay, you couldn’t find the resolve too. You were just so tired of the fighting. So tired of chaos. You just wanted to rest. There had already been enough bloodshed. You didn’t want any more.

The thought of staying here was a comforting one. Hiding away from the cruel world that had deserted you had been blissful so far, and you weren’t entirely sure you wanted to give it up.

But…

That thing…

It was still wearing your face, speaking with your voice, going by your name.

The fact alone made you feel nauseous. You weren’t like them, not an abusive tyrant like you’d seen them be; yet they sullied your name, your identity; with their acts.

No, you didn’t want vengeance on Liyue.

You wanted vengeance on the accused creature that had ordered your death, and it alone.

“……Alright. When should we leave then?”

“[Name] are you certain you wish to do this? Once we leave this place, you will be in danger again.”

“I know. But I can’t just let that thing hurt people, especially not while hiding behind my identity.”

“…If you are certain, then I will not oppose. I pledged my service to you, and whilst I may not be as strong as I once was, I will do everything in my power to keep you safe [Name].”

Chaotic reader and a calm best friend. Do you know that scene in Euphoria where Maddy fights Cassie and then their two friends is like ‘Maddy, NO!’ and the other being ‘BEAT HER UP MADDY! SHE FUCKED YOUR BOYFRIEND!’ That’s how I see things right now I’m sorry.

The moment you first opened your eyes in Teyvat, the first thing the calm best friend did was to hear the nature first in case something potentially is near and you know what you did? You looked at your best friend and said ‘Grass :D’. And then it went down from there. Calm best friend trying to watch their steps in case you two come across some enemies, went to look around to see where you two are and before they know it, they already lost sight of you and found you having a dance off with hilichurls.

Nothing and no one is safe from your chaos and by ‘nothing and no one’ I meant nothing and no one. At one point you became close friends with Hu Tao and Xingqiu and oh boy Teyvat is ending. Tourism in Wuwang Hill stopped because someone allegedly witnessed two figures doing bad rituals, acting possessed and throwing talismans at each other. No one knew it was just you and Hu Tao playing Uno.

Even the Electro Cicin Mage in Wuwang Hill tries her hardest to watch her surroundings because the last time she was doing her job there you lured her deeper in the Hill horror style and gave her a jumpscare. Rumours from other agents that she still has nightmares about it.

You’re banned in Wanmin kitchen from trying to do the ‘When mom is not at home’ vine with Xiangling herself. Yanfei loves you but the amount of laws you break in one day is enough to fill up a whole book and because of that she has to restrain herself every time she sees you.

PS. The leash joke was a joke until you stepped foot in Mondstadt. Like you know how those windmills have doors at the very bottom so you can enter and climb the ladder safely? Yeah you tried climbing a windmill except you didn’t use the ladder and climb it like a resinless player.

One time you smuggled an anemo slime inside Mondstadt and used it as a trampoline. Let’s just say that the water on the fountain diminished to half on that day including minor casualties like a Calvary captain who was innocently passing by and ended up having a shower.

Tsurumi Island is a no no place to go because the two of you are asked to go there to light candles for spirits but you know what you did? You played fetch with the wolves. The only places that you’re allowed to go in Inazuma are Narukami Island and Watatsumi Island. Why? Because the last time you saw an electro barrier, you tried licking it.

Characters like Zhongli tries his best to keep himself calm because one Hu Tao is enough and suddenly there’s two of them and the new one is even more troublesome. Amber has to keep watch as well, she loves the chaos but challenging Andrius in a fist fight is not a good idea. One time, your best friend was having tea and talking with Cloud Retainer and then you suddenly went missing. Where did they find you? Napping inside Azhdaha’s domain.

The friendship between the two of you is often questioned by people around but none of you two cares. Yeah sure you get into trouble a lot and they save you in trouble a lot but at the end of the day, it’s not the chaos or the calm. It’s friendship.

So what if you’re chaotic? Maybe you’re troublesome but your chaotic curiosity always leads you to knowing your environment and knowing which road is dangerous. You get to see the things first and made sure you get to protect them as well. No harm will fall on your best friend, just like how no harm will go down to you.

As what Yin and Yang means, in bad there is good. In good there is bad. That is life…but it doesn’t mean you get to run in the morning and scare Timmie’s birds. Poor kid.

The students

Noelle is repeating her first year. She overworked herself to the point of falling ill on the day of the final exams and was held back as a result.

Everyone thinks Dori is an elementary schooler who wandered into high school. She claims not to be, but nobody knows the truth.

People often mistake Kaveh for being a second year student and Alhaitham for a third year, but it is actually the other way around. (Which very much upsets Kaveh)

Venti has been a 3rd year student forever. Nobody even remembers when he first enrolled at Teyvat High. If you ask him, he will simply respond with 'ehe~'

Albedo skipped a grade because he is too big brained.

The class presidents for each class are Ayaka (1st year), Yanfei (2nd year) and Ninguang (3rd year). Keqing volunteered to be class president but it would be too much to combine with her responsiblity on the disciplinary committee.

Similar situation with Chongyun who did not know which club to join so he followed his best friend Xingqiu to the literature club. He likes to read supernatural stories about demons and evil spirits.

Ganyu might eventually convince Xiao to join the gardening club with her. He finds being surrounded by plants and flowers strangely soothing. His favorite is the Qingxin flower.

Mona tried to make her own astrology club but there were no other members, so she eventually joined the art club instead.

Sara joined the cooking club with Ei so she can be there to stop Ei from setting the school kitchen on fire.

Cyno joined the debate club with the sole intention of making bad jokes for all of his arguments and annoying the heck out of his clubmates.

Wanderer is in the drama club because he's a DRAMA QUEEN.

There's several sports clubs so I'll leave it up to you guys' imagination which specific sport these characters would choose. uwu

Hi, i noticed you started playing Genshin Impact! Are you enjoying the game so far? What are your favourite characters? Do you have a team you play the most? :) (you dont have to answer i am just curious haha)

hiiiii! yes i did unfortunately start playing genshin… i honestly have some lingering issues with the gameplay (mostly the artificially inflated playtime everywhere, and the ipad controls continue to be a chore) and the gacha is, you know, infamously what it is, but there's lots of very nice things about it also and i'm clearly still playing! there is much to enjoy, the open world is very beautiful and a lot of care is put into the characters' idle animations to give them a lot of personality and charm >:3

my favourite character is Gorou obviously, so i maybe do have to keep playing this game until he's 90/90 triple crowned with cracked artifacts and such… i would like to realise my dreams of DPS Gorou… that is basically my main goal in this game 😊

(after Gorou my favourite character is Paimon. she is so cute and wonderful and my best friend in the whole world. iN THIS HOUSE WE RESPECT PAIMON.)

as for teams, i got Jean on Itto's banner, i got Ayato by accident while trying to get Sayu (😒) (but it's okay i've forgiven him now), and i recently lucked into winning the coin flip on Alhaitham… at the moment i mostly run around with Ayato, Yanfei, Kaeya/Razor and Yaoyao for overworld farming, but my besties squad for exploring is Gorou, Yanfei, Alhaitham (for his big jump) and Sayu 💕💕 right now my Ayato and Yanfei are especially powerful because they're non-burst-reliant, low-skill-gap DPSes who make mob clearing easier for me, a fake gamer with no skills. i haven't been brave enough to really make progress in the Abyss yet but i'm working on my Xiangling and i will be adopting Xingqiu from the lantern rite so perhaps soon…!!

i'm also joining the ranks of the people who have been coping for Baizhu to become playable since the game launched. btw. and Kaveh obviously. every time my Haitham looks at his gay little keychain i am comforted by the thought that he is literally also waiting for Kaveh to come home 🤧🤧🤧
