As I was cycling home today I realised I was smiling and I felt so relax. I feel so happy today and thankful. Happy because I am taking good care of myself. I eat healthy most of the time, I started to dance and stretch more, and on most nights I get 8 hrs of sleep. Therapy is going so well, even the hard sessions where I cry my eyes out, because for me it means I’m healing. Since I started this therapy I found self love and self appreciation. My inner child is healing. I love her and I love the woman she is becoming. I’m also happy because after so long it feels nice to finally be able to wear high heels again and to fit in normal sized clothes. It’s nice to be able to wear sizes Medium and sometimes even Small. It’s nice to see men turning their heads when I walk past them. It feels good to be seen and to be confident about it (mostly hehe..) I’m happy to have energy and do the things I want without being tired all the time or have pains here and there in my body. 21 June it was exactly 2 years since my Gastric Bypass surgery and I’m still convinced that it was one of the best decisions I made. I’m so thankful for having my life back and that I’m doing well. I’m so happy! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :’)
