Sometimes I forget that rats are not like. A common and widely accepted type of pet

In my brain pet rats are just as common as idk a pet hamster

And then I’ll tell ppl I have rats and they’ll be like “sorry you have what”

I have made it my personal mission to convert every non rat person into a rat person. No one has met my rats and not liked them. Everyone should pet a rat at least once in their life. (Unless they have a genuine fear/phobia ofc. I’m talking about ppl who just think they’re gross)
