Good Fences Make Good Neighbors by sophene - In which Bruce Wayne is a stay-at-home helicopter dad and Hal Jordan is the irresponsible flyboy who moves into the house next door.

strip down to his feelings by BoyishStutter - “I still don’t understand,” Diana admits, after staring at the magazine, critically, for ten minutes in silence, “Why is this causing such a strong reaction? Bruce has done photoshoots before and no one cared.” Clark, having already buried his face in his hands seven minutes ago to hide his growing blush, refuses to answer.

“Is it simply because he’s naked?”

Or, Bruce does a nude spread in a high end fashion magazine and gets quite a few reactions. It all works out in the end.

What do you mean I fucked Batman!? by arrowupmysleeve - Batman did not know how it had happened, but he was willing to bet it was Green Arrow and Superman’s fault. Possibly even Wonder Women. However, it had happened the Justice League was sitting on the floor of the Watchtower’s conference room playing Never Have I Ever and Batman wanted to break someone’s face. Possibly Green Lantern or Aquaman’s faces, they were the ones who had insisted that if they were doing this, they needed to be sitting on the floor.

He was not sure how Superman had talked him into this, something about team bonding and trust-building exercise, but he had and now Batman was sitting in between Black Canary and the Flash, a mediocre drink in hand and the quality of the drink was Green Arrows fault. How a man that rich could drink alcohol this bad on purpose was incomprehensible.

Some Rhys/Taika RPF Recs for anon:

the body believes series: The original Rhys/Taika series. I’m dying a little waiting for the next one. It got me hooked on the complexities of character bleed in this kind of longtime friend ship.

wounds series: A slow simmering build with lots of rich NZ texture; ongoing, with character bleed and focus around filming OFMD.

Double Vision: A lovely look at the past and present of them, reflecting on an early hookup and Taika’s feelings around deciding to play Blackbeard rather than cast someone else opposite Rhys.

caught in my ear by velcroboyfriends: Taika can’t stop thinking about the sound Rhys made in the kiss scene.

Sometimes writing is opening up your laptop by imperfectcircle: The tag “yes-and-ing into sex” should be one of the dominant tropes in Rhys/Taika tbh.

running scenes: The practicing the kiss scene trope is a core one, and this is one of my favorites. Between Fiction and Fact by cherryvanilla is another great one.

~ thegildedbeeloves~ is a side blog for me, {thegildedbee}. It's mainly to corral my fic rec lists (bbc sherlock), but it's also eventually going to serve as a place for me to collect two related kinds of posts: sherlockiana (from the Strand until today) that I've come across in my main blogstream, as well as my own posts on fandom in general (when they start appearing :-)

I may do something with all of this at a later point, but for now what's gathered together is simply for sharing, pondering, revisiting, and speculating.

Inu-Mothership Spotlight Saturday: Holiday Edition!

Hi everyone! We here at @inu-mothership are back with a series of very special fic rec lists, just in time for the holidays!

Over the next six weeks, we'll be posting a new list with a special theme. This week (Week 1), our theme is Snow, and we have 13 fics (listed below the cut) to recommend with this theme!
