Louis' exit song last night was The Stokes - The Adults Are Talking and I knew I had put that in some Louis or Harry related playlist recently and !! asdkljaslkdjklsdjf I just found it:

So I had made a playlist of songs similar to all songs on Harry's House (this is the final one, yeah some suck) put The Adults Are Talking as "the equivalent of As It Was" (in this dump of a playlist). Decide for yourself if you hear the similarities, but it's a little bit funny I thought to hear these songs sound alike... only for Louis to put it as an exit song not long after.

Seven for a secret, never to be told 🐦🐦🐦

I believe in kind, self assured, successful Draco who has made something of himself after the war, but I also like to daydream about how he took those difficult first steps on his journey to rebuild himself.

In eighth year Harry decides that he wants to bridge the gap, close the circle of him and Draco and make peace so that they can move forward with no regrets.

Draco doesn't reject Harry's attempts but is only capable of superficial courtesy and strained smiles in return, too insecure and uncertain after being so thoroughly deconstructed by his mistakes.

Harry is simultaneously frustrated and fascinated. He takes opportunities wherever he can (and makes them wherever he can't) to be around Draco. Draco continues to tolerate him, even gets used to his company, and Harry likes what he learns.

They face off in the quidditch finals, Harry makes Draco swear to give Harry his all and promises he won't hold back. They're evenly matched of course, because neither of them are there by accident.

Their final snitch chase is fierce, they chase it through the towers and behind the banners. When they both make a desperate reach they collide with each other instead, getting caught up in the fabric and falling together. They're sprawled in the sand, untangling themselves from each other when Draco opens his hand to reveal the snitch.

They're concealed from the outside world, and they have a few moments where they're the only two people who have realized that the game is over, and Draco has won.

Draco is stock still, shocked, staring at the snitch in his fingers. Then he looks at Harry, eyes wide and a little glassy but Harry's come to learn what Draco looks like when he's biting back a grin and realizes that there was no other way that the game could have ended. He feels giddy, like he was the one who caught the snitch, and practically hosts Draco onto his shoulders like a palanquin to parade him around with his prize.

Harry tells Draco that he's proud of him. Draco's smiles at him with true warmth from that day on.

sibiling things that happened between sirius and regulus as children

-sirius and reg used to play ninjas. when sirius was 13 and regulus was twelve, he bought a katana, it wasn't sharp but it was still metal. One day they were play-swordfighiting and regulus blocked a hit (from the blunt katana). he started bleeding so much while sirius was just begging him not to tell mum because they'd be in so mich trouble. Regulus never said anything but still has a visible white scar on his palm

-regulus used to take sirius in rooms then turn the light off,run away and lock him inside

-sirius once hid in Regulus' closet for hours after dinner only to jump out ON him hissing and pretending to be a monster

-regulus used to pretend to go crazy and start chasing sirius telling him quite violent and scary things, chasing him with a kitchen knife. it happened more often than you'd think. (there was one time when after they finished running and sirius had locked himself away from reg and made him stop playing because it was scary. when sirius got out and they went on the couch they realised that their parents and some.family friends were in the other room and had heard all the screaming)

If you could miraculously save one character from their canonical death in Harry Potter and have it make the biggest impact on the story, who do you think it would be?

I honestly think there's an argument for Regulus. He was the only person in the entire decade of the 1970s who knew about the existence of the horcruxes. That secret died with him and stayed dead for close to two decades.

Imagine if it had come out in 1979. Imagine how differently the Order would have operated if they understood their mission and the villain they were up against. Because they had no idea. Even Dumbledore didn't know. It took him 18 years to figure out what Regulus knew in 1979. If Regulus could have communicated it to someone (anyone - maybe Sirius, if not Dumbledore) it would have changed everything.

james would be the kind of dad that everyone thinks is like the super chill one, but in reality he’s kinda overprotective and just a bit controlling because well you have to be consistent with children everyone knows that.

meanwhile, no one expect regulus to even raise his kids himself, but he’s always the one that breaks as soon as one of his kids pulls out the puppy dog eyes.
