Michael is a straight up bully to reader, they always argue and never get along, but one night readers car breaks down confidently in front of his home- doesnt help that its raining so she is getting soaked, she tries calling her roommate but because its night they dont pick up.

Michael comes out to see whats going on and he spot her, he rolls his eyes and makes her get inside instead of staying in the cold, grumbling that he will fix it in the morning and she can sleep in his room, he even lets her have some of his clothes- but he makes her sleep on the floor, she refuses to saying its cold and after a bit of arguing he grabs her and kisses her quiet, telling her he knows a way to keep her warm if she wants

Okay, so I’ve never written for Michael before... but I had way too much fun with this. I wrote it kind of like a comedy with smut because I get perverse enjoyment out of bullying Michael lmao. Hope it’s to your liking!

Driving home from the shop, you double flick the windscreen wipers as the hammering rain only gets worse. You’re already wet from the 10 seconds you spent outside, your jeans clinging uncomfortably to your legs and dampening the seat underneath you. 

Mumbling a ‘for fuck’s sake’, you turn down another residential road, still over two miles from your house, the quick nip out for fags having taken up way too much of your night. 

Its then that the worst sound possible could be heard. Your engine packing in, squealing like a stuck pig in a fence, followed by a juddering thud as you’re mercifully able to steer it up the curb outside a house, before it completely dies on you. To be honest, you’d know that this shit-raft hadn’t had long left but really, tonight? Right now? So far from home? After you’d just spent a fucking fortune fuelling up? Bleeding typical. 

You get out of the car, no umbrella or jacket to speak of and are wet to the bone before you can even get to the bonnet and peer inside. Seeing smoke depressingly coming from some part of the vehicle you couldn’t name. 

“What the Hell are you doing here?” Someone behind you says, emphasising the ‘you’ with disgust. Of course you turn, ready to give someone the mouthful of profanity you were saving for this limp cock of a car. You recognise the tallish, messy haired lad immediately and curse in annoyance. Fucking great: it’s Michael Afton. 

You found him such a silly ponce. And he you, a nasty prick. Having known each other since college and now finding yourself studying at the same Uni, your animosity towards each other having grown and matured into a smouldering hatred that caused arguments anytime you were in a room together. “That...” He smiles at you meanly, enjoying the sight of you soaked through and looking damn right miserable. “...is a shame.” He turns to walk up a drive into a house you assumed was his, grinning at your anguish. 

Giving him the wanker gesture behind his back, you pull out your phone, registering the sound of a front door closing, whilst your shaky, wet hands tried to dial your roommate. Eventually you succeed, but it goes straight to voicemail, their phone clearly dead or off. Leaving you stranded as your parents were out of town and no one else was local, it being summer hols and you being home from Uni. You put your hand on your head, desperately trying to find a solution to your freezing cold predicament. 

From inside his house, Michael peeked through his curtains surprised to see you still stood outside in the rain. Surely, you’d have the common sense to get back in your car or something. But no. He watched you looking like a stray cat for a few minutes before his decency took over and he goes to the door to see if you’re alright. 

“You standing there all night, y/n?” 

You laugh sharply, tears of frustration threatening to spill. “Just fucking might.” 

“You wanna come in while you wait for someone?” He says, sighing at having to spend time in the same building as you, but still feeling a shred of pity. 

“I ain’t got anyone to come get me.” You say, hands rising to an irritated shrug.

“Still wanna come in for a bit?” 

And although you’d usually rather stick a spork in your eye than sit around with Michael Afton, it beat standing here, or sitting in your car. But only narrowly. 

He leads you through his front door, showing you a bathroom and after you heavily hint, giving you some dry clothes to wear whilst your own dried on a radiator. You thank him reluctantly, going inside said toilet to put on the joggers and hoodie he’d given you. Scowling to yourself in the mirror as you can smell him on the clothes. 

You come out after promising yourself to not let him wind you round the bend. Finding your way to a kitchen, where stood leant against a counter, after nicely, he’d boiled a kettle for you. 

He hadn’t expected the movement in his trousers at seeing you in his clothes, it felt intimate and kind of sexy. And for a moment he just saw you as a good-looking lass, not the witch that had been haunting him for 4 years. 

“Thanks for the clothes and the hot drink- I appreciate it.” 

“Yeah, you should. I was tempted not to invite you in.” You smile sarcastically at him, walking over to the rack of mugs you’d spotted on the counter, grabbing some kind of fancy-arse tea bag. 

“I don’t know what I’m gonna do. My parents are out of town.” You briefly explain to him, using the mug to warm you aching hands. To which he stood silently, watching your arse in his trousers as you did so. 

“If you promise to keep your mouth shut, you can stay here.” He offers unenthusiastically.

“Why would I want to do that, Mikey?” You laugh.

“Feel free to go back out-fucking-side.” He gestures with his hand in the rough direction of the door, a very familiar sneer on his face. 

And what else could you do? Sleep in your car outside in a neighbourhood you didn’t know that well? So you agree, not hiding the look of despair the prospect gave you. Which only doubled when he told you his dad would be coming home so you’d have to sleep in his room. On the floor. Like a dog.

After about 10 minutes of shivering on his floor, your back already throbbing from the lack of mattress, you grow tired of hearing the shit tik toks he was watching. 

“I can’t sleep here, this is ridiculous.” You sit up, making him jump a little at the abruptness. “What did you just shit yourself for? Forget I’m here?” You say somewhat meanly, a snicker accompanying it, standing up and cracking your neck.

“Shut up. Where are you gonna go like?” His voice takes on a cutting mocking tone, “Get in here with me?” 

You walk over to him, face a picture of annoyance. “That what you want Mike? Me to get in fucking bed with you?” You laugh, bringing you head down to his level as he was sat. “To think, all this time I thought you were a cunt to me because you hated me. When really you just want to fuck me.” Shaking your head, you point a finger at him, “God that’s fucking pathe-” 

Your further insults are cut short when he grabs you and kisses you harshly on the mouth, the only thing he could think to do to get you to shut the fuck up for once. And you’ll admit, you respected the bollocks on him for it.

Maybe it was the frustration of the night’s events. Maybe it was built up hate between the two of you boiling over. Neither of you are sure. But you let him pull you on to his lap, kissing him back, tongues and hands quickly becoming involved.  

You feel the urge to call him names when you feel the hardness of his cock pressing against the inside of your thigh. The morning quickly rolled around, and you slip out of Michael's bed to go and get something to drink, more than thirsty after last night. "Could ask the same for you." You raise an eyebrow at his curtness. "I'm Michael's... mate." You half-arse explain. The man leans on the doorframe a look of disbelief crossing his face, before he walked into the room smirking and started messing about with a coffee machine.

"What's funny about that?" You ask looking at him, there was resemblance between the two, but Mike would look 10 years younger stood next to his dad. 

"Nothing." He looks you up and down. "Credit to him: you're alright." He answers through a smirk aimed at you. You just laugh, turning your attention to your phone. Not noticing when Mike came to find you.

Glancing up at him you give a nod of acknowledgement before going back to your scrolling. Completely missing when his father gestures towards you with his head, mouthing the word 'respect' to his son, who looked mortified.

"Stop being a dick, pa." Michael snapped. You look up to see what was going on, catching Mr Afton looking away from you with a laugh. And give Michael a raised brow smile, whilst his dad leaves the room, not without another glance in your direction.

"What are you grinning at?" His tone reaks of irritation. Only growing when you point to the empty door saying,

"THAT explains so much." Through a teasing laugh.

"Fuck off."

"I'm trying to, but there isn't a bus for half an hour. And my car is fucked, remember?" He rolled his eyes, going to the coffee machine himself and mumbling when asking you if you wanted some. You did and told him as such.

"Ay, thanks." You say as he sets it down in front of you. Having the curtesy to sit with you while you wait, lest his dad hear his footsteps and sneak in like a fox in a chicken coup.

"You alright?" You ask him, unused to the sensation of being pleasant with each other and so rejecting it, poking him in the ribs.

"Can you be quiet for like 5 fucking seconds?" Each word is near hissed at you.

"What kind of scene would this be, if I was?" You roll your eyes as you take a sip of the coffee he made you. Laughing as you thought of another way to piss him off. "You're one to talk anyway, with all the ‘talking’ you did last night." He turns to your words, face a clear warning.

"Oh fuck, oh fuck. That's it. Like that. Shi- God you feel fucking good-" You mock moan, accompanying it with a lewd gesture that made him look over his shoulder to check his dad hadn’t returned.

"Shut the fuck up!" He rises, "like you didn't have a good time." He says through a face of disgust. You continue giggling, loving how easy it was to wind him up.

"Practically drooling over my cock, like a dirty bitch." You just laugh again; he couldn’t even touch your feelings with that shit.  

Letting silence fall over the two of you, you go back to your phone, giving him a smidge of respite. But he throws it back in your face after a mere two minutes.

"Will you stop tapping your foot, its driving me fucking nuts." And there's your green light to go at him again.

"You're a prick sometimes, Mike." You say, shaking your head. "But your dad- oh, no. He's really hot. Like scary, but scary sexy you get me?"

"Yeah... so's your mam." He snaps, his cheeks red. Instantly looking down when Mr Afton pops back in for something, unsure if you'll continue prodding and dreading if you did.

You laugh out of nowhere, "No. she isn't, Mike. But your fucking face." Mr Afton laughs from across the room, coming over to see the fallout that was about to occur, seeing the indignation on his son’s face and being unable to pity him.

"Ah you've got to bring this one back, Michael. She's fucking class." He says, grinning like a wolf. Mike scowls, despising you even more for ribbing on him with his own fucking dad.

"I should kick you the fuck out." He says exasperated, filled with dislike for you again. Sitting back down but not looking at you.

"Uh.” Mr Afton interjects. “You are not kicking my future daughter-in-law out of this house." You smirk, surprisingly feeling a tickle of guilt at being such a cock to him. 

But you have a feeling that you'll make it up to him later.

her intention was to have them try it out on like. a creature. but while talking to him, she turned to sos and accidentally ascended HER.

in those few moments before everything shut down, she sent out the triple affirmative- turns out it was false, as the ability was used once and never again.

they were created with a dark form after sos saw pebbles' state, so the darkness wouldnt affect her.

after the triple affirmative, sos was gone and dead. several iterators were incredibly concerned, and after sending overseers, discovered only enot, always curiously waiting and watching.

enot, a simple slugcat with a failed purpose, known as a god killer.

(oh yeah btw enot can kind of cause dreams almost, walking through them for short times to speak to the one having the dream- this is how they discovered nightcat in pebbles' can)

enot very rarely lies, instead going silent with a smile if he doesnt want to answer

when she enter fp's can to free nightcat, pebbles was genuinely so scared of the "god killer" that she literally just. let nightcat go bc she was so focused on distancing her puppet from enot

saint remembered them when he returned with nightcat, and immediately tried to convince rivulet not to allow enot to stay anywhere near them (it did NOT work)

saint was very close to sos but fled before enot ascended her out of fear of the other slugcat, and after learning about what happened, doesnt trust enot and likely never will.

If Connor and Mia were reintroduced in GA Rebirth and had gotten a soft-reboot in their origins, what would you have liked to see?

this is a great question but im not very smart so the answer may be bad but lets give it a go. also i barely rememebr rebirth.

im glad you said soft reboot, because i think honestly their origins, especially mia's, should stay relatively the same in this scenario.

so for Connor, this makes ollie a teen dad which is already an in joke i already have with a friend, we kept asking joshua williamson if ollie was now a teen dad when connor first reappeared and he never replied to us, so sad, loser. i think if they were to have kept the retconned origin in this scenario, where-in ollie DID know about connor, it could've worked well for a reason to him abandoning them, in place of the whole "i have a higher purpose with green arrow" bullshit.

HOWEVER. i am team fuck the retcon so. connor can still find out about ollie from finding moonday's scrapbook, but this now makes him born in the 90s which i think is very funny and should therefore lead to him reading as many online forums about ollie as he can at the local library. now in n52/rebirth iirc the ashram doesnt really exist? which is hard bc like obviously buddhism and the monastery is like central to connor's character. so i'd say he still goes to one, but probably wouldn't meet ollie there.

instead for them to meet i'd say he starts to volunteer at one of ollie's many projects? and they meet there a good few number of times when ollie goes to help out. then when ollie is once again presumed dead after the whole ninth circle shado broderick stuff he becomes GA to help people while not-actually-dead ollie and co are doing all the ninth circle stuff. then when they all return theres a whole plot around their actual relation etc etc.

for Mia. completely fuck the n52 shit idc about that boohoo die. honestly i'd keep everything from her pre52 origin the same which ik feels like a cop out for this question but. its so important to her character that changing any part of it feels like a disservice to the story yknow.

however obviously the whole youth centre doesnt exist in the same way as her original story, soooo. it's harder to adjust how mia comes to live with him when he doesnt have a place to give her a job yknow. i guess mia comes in at a later point in rebirth, when ollie has that house outside the city. maybeee heee idk gives her resources that he still trusts to take care of her but also gives her his number/address in case she needs a place to crash, and she ends up there more than not, so they make the whole if u wanna stay you go to school deal again. i cant see her becoming speedy before the end of the run in this scenario.

i hope this answers ur question. i think it does. its kinda a mess tho. i do think it would've been funny for emi to come back from the titans and be like what the fuck did i miss while i was gone. why do you have other kids now.

ik quite a bit of people dont like/celebrate valentines day, which i get, but i personally love it. ik the argument is showing your appreciation/love for someone shouldnt be relegated to just one day, and that doing so takes the genuine bits away from it, and i totally agree, but the way i see it, valentines day is just another day to show your affection, for friends, partners, etc. and thats wonderful!

mini i love v day word vomit aside, i do think big mama and lou jitsu celebrate valentines day if only bc they are super lovey-dovey i feel, based off the few moments we see in the show pre-proposal, and the nicknames they use for each other as well. they are dorks in love, and that side is one that comes out a lot when theyre together. so yeah, i def think they celebrate

pre-proposal: date night that consists of dancing, dinner, and a movie at home. giftwise, i dont think theyd go all out, because they already do that like, in general. idk if build a bear exists but damnit, they build a bear. big mama gives lou flowers.

(lou takes her to museum on v day once when they're in some other country (france? italy? i know nothing abt art) and they both like this one painting. he doesnt know it, but big mama steals it later, and has it replaced with a fake. leo is sneaking around the hotel years later and accidentally finds it, not knowing its history)

post-propsal (canon compliant): well, i mean, its implied that they do date for a while even after the proposal. and the feelings are still there. as is the belief lou has that there is good in big mama. maybe the dates aren't the same as pre-proposal, but there is still dinner, walks in the hidden city, a movie at home, and slow dancing in the lounge. there is no museum, but there is a painting. and it lasts, for a while. but they argue; lou doesnt want to be her champion anymore, he doesnt want her to be his boss; he just wants to be hers and for her to be his. but they argue and he's in a cell and he thinks that all she wanted was a champion; she paces, tugging at her hair, because if he wont stay to fight, what else would he stay for? he doesnt understand what he's asking of her, he can't. he's human, wonderfully, brilliantly, human, and she is not. she is ageless, undying, she is Yokai, and he will be gone long before her--long before battle nexus. she can give up battle nexus but then what? he will die, of age, something that won't take her, and them what would she have? nothing but pain and heartache. lou will leave, battle nexus won't. and she is right. because the cell is empty and he's gone, and she thinks he's dead. her valentines day blur with the rest of them--she has her business, she has battle nexus, she has meetings and work. (she has lou jitsu movies, an empty side of the bed, a painting, and a ring) splinter has his memories, a new body he has to get used to, a life he wont ever get back, but all of that has to be pushed down because none of that matters, all that matters are his boys.

Workin on an au and I should probably wait until I have more drawings done BUT...Im pitching my Hex tf2 au, Its pretty barebones atm? it follows the comics closely in that theres 2 teams that then combine into one, but think more ‘A bunch of separately hired mercenaries im forcing to work together and I don’t even give them a matching uniform i just make them wear a patch’ More Info and Rambling below the cut, not really in any order, i just wanna get Ideas Out into the world!

Reginald and Lionel - Blutarch and Redmond Mann Carla - Administrator Miss Pauling stays as Miss Pauling. Shes iconic. Super Weasel Kid - Scout Irving?? - Soldier (Heavily considered him as Miss pauling?? or Classic heavy??? I literally genuinely dont know.) ??? - Pyro Rust - Demoman (Rocky is either the Sword or the Mom back home. except hes a kid) Bryce - Heavy, melee Lazarus - Heavy. Shoots you dead. Rebecha - Engineer (Considered her for Miss Pauling for a bit) Sadie (yknow who i mean) - Medic  (considered jerimiah for a good second.) Chandrelle - Spy Trish - Mirasmus (trust me) Theres No Sniper. In theory I thought about Chandrelle multi classing, and Maybe Lazarus being a sniper instead?? Or Rust could fit sniper and i can make Lazarus Demoman. Im not too fussed about not having a sniper okay. I am a bit bummed about having two Heavys though None of these are set too set in stone, im ironing alot out. The ones I have the most thought out about are Chandrelle, ???, and Sadie, cause ive started drawing them first! Eventually in the future Vallamir gets trapped in a jar (like the spy’s head in a jar in medic’s lab) but Chandrelle has enough like, leftover magic to function. and the help of technology. ??? Is just.. Pyro.. Like i understand Sadie could be Pyro if u wanna go that route but ??? is mysterious..funny little guy...doesnt speak...u dont know what they look like..its perfect. The weapons ive picked out 4 ??? are supposed to connect to the Walking game, like its purposely all fast acting stuff. Sadie is just medic. its perfect. Shes a little insane and shes replacing all your organs with spiders!! Super weasel kid is so obviously Scout aswell, look at that man. Hes fast. Hes arrogant. he gets NO bitches and he tries so hard. Rebecha is engineer cause it fits well but like, im not entirely happy with it. Ik characters wont fit into assigned roles PERFECTLY but man. Though i can see her as one of those beach chair engineers in a sentry nest. Im changing the story with Reginald and Lionel a little bit? Im unsure how their feud entirely started, i know they arent related, and I know Reginald doesnt seem like a grudge kinda guy and id agree with you if it wasnt Lionel. When both of them die in comic im replacing that with Reginald strangling Lionel to unconciousness (slay!!), everyone thinks Lionel is dead and goes on about their day. Lionel ends up replacing Grey mann later ^^ thats All very loose. im unsure Reginald just really hated Lionel. So Carla wouldn’t be too worried about him hes chill, so all the Administrator stuff would still happen. I think im also keeping Saxton hale as the same person?? I dont know if anyone in Hex has the same pizzazz and self confidence as saxton hale. Id say lionel. but in my mind hes a twig, hes already assigned a character, and I like saxton hale more. Irving really fits Classic heavy more then solider, but then id have to figure out the REST of the classic team and that is more characters then the Hex Has i think, Unless i want to make hex Ocs

Upon rereading tgcf, one of the biggest complaints I have is how lackluster all the extra chapters were. literally none of them were good and all contained rlly gross and harmful sentiments (like the amnesia one which.. yea.. or all the things implying xl should get pregnant for hc thus equating gay relationships with hetero ones and playing into the wife thing and just GOD I HATE MXTX) 

There were a lot of little plot points i wish that had been further elaborated on more in the extras as opposed to hualian being ... like that. I had enough. Like mdzs had actaully good extras (minus the incense burners) that were nice side stories that elaborated more on the characters. Like the hook one with the juniors was so cute and i loved seeing them grow more. Or the lotus pod extras omg.. im such a lotus pod extra stan. those were so cute and gave us a lot of good insight into just how lovestruck lwj was during the times when he didn’t see wwx. mxtx should've stuck to those sorta extras in tgcf but NOOO. SO I have a list of so many other more interesting things those chapters couldve been spent on like:

A resolution on He Xuan’s revenge and his character arc. Bc its implied He Xuan is still hanging out and watching over sqx and that taking revenge didn’t fully satisfy him bc ok.. yea shi wudu is dead but he xuans family will never come back. Now what does he have to live for?? i wish we couldve seen a look into his life during the entire ordeal. like a chapter from his perspective while he was posing as Ming Yi  and maybe a look at a conversation btw he xuan and the real ming yi or a chapter after SQX was banished to see what he’s doing now. Also what did he xuan owe hua cheng money for anyways?? Like ik not every little thing has to be explained but I Want to Know. PLEASE more goth boyfriend content now I just wanna see him :,((

a better resolution of yin yu and quan yizhens storyline. im still mad abt how that plot point was split btw books 3 and 5  when it was rlly out of place and  there were other more pressing plot matters and it just rlly deserved more time. Also i thought yin yu died!?!?!? but apparently one of the extras says he’s alive and man... i;m not reading any more of the extras to see that, give me a full yin yu and quan yizhen chapter.. fuck.

a day in the life of the guoshi fangxin or general hua PLEASE especially like one where hua cheng was SO CLOSE to meeting xie lian but had no clue that xie lian was there at the time but the two did smth that inadvertantly helped the other and they still were connected even though they hadnt met omg pls that’d be so nice. like imagine Hua cheng catching a glimpse of the guoshi in public in yong’an while he’s trying to follow some lead that points to xie lian or maybe following a lead to capture qi rong bc he said he knew qi rong was a part of the yong’an stuff and originally thought the guoshi was one of qi rongs pawns. like can you IMAGINE him getting so close. but at the last second he did smth small that impacted xie lian. like they bumped into eachother on the street or smth. god i’d go crazy

OR vice versa.. like a day in the life of the young ghost king hua cheng. Like again, one of my biggest issues was that hua cheng just knew everything and its never really explained how he got all of that info. like yes he’s been alive very long and has eyes and ppl working for him everywhere but like... how did he build that network?? I’d love to see a chapter of young ghost king hua cheng travelling around trying to learn as much as he can abt the world and how it can help bring him to xie lian. and the two maybe are in the same kingdom for a bit and they don’t meet exactly but hua cheng stops some fight or something and helps xie lian indirectly or maybe xie lian is performing on the street in some costume and hua cheng doesn’t recognize him and smiles and gives him a coin or smth. idk i’m just dying for any sorta extra chapter or fic like that. i’m honestly so tempted to write my own but i cant write

also!! we’ve seen how xie lian picks up people down on their luck near him and show them kindness (like banyue, lang ying, xiao ying, he tried to with san lang but we know how that ended lmao) so i’d love to see another little vignette of him doing that on his travels and how every person he meets teaches him smth about life and being a good person and idk, i just think it’d be rlly sweet. i love this facet of his character and feel like we didn’t see enough of it towards the end.

ALSO hua cheng only seems to respect one heavenly official besides xie lian and thats yushi huang.. i assume thats mostly bc she was the only one to help xie lian and let him use the rain master hat to bring water to yong’an. I was thinking maybe when he was a new supreme he had run into trouble and maybe was picked up by the rain master and helped him heal and in return he promised to help protect her village from harm in the future. Like i know a heavenly official wouldn’t cooperate with a ghost like that but yushi huang is different and doesn’t really care about the heavens so i think she would protect him if he could do something to benefit her village. ik this is kinda far fetched but when he first became a supreme I’m sure a bunch of ppl probably tried to mess with him and didn’t rlly believe him to be undefeatable bc he hadn’t proved himself yet also i doubt all his power came overnight. he had to learn how to use it once he escaped the kiln. and some group probably thought they could weaken him somehow. I’m thinking maybe a rlly well formed group of ghosts actually caught him off guard once and he had to retreat and was picked up by the rain master and stayed with her and learned from her a bit. i think it’d be a cool concept also i just rlly want more yushi huang content and i’m on their friendship agenda bc he rlly did seem to actually respect her when she first appeared and i think it’d be cool if the two had some history together.

Also idrc if this was addressed I couldve missed it But!! Did xie lian ever tell Hua cheng that the reason he got the curse shackles and was banished again in the first place wasnt bc jun wu wanted to punish him, but because he requested it. And specifically requested it bc he felt guilty abt letting wu ming take the human face disease and disperse for his sake. So he took the shackles and descended to atone for that?? Bc I dont recall hua cheng learning that bc his soul was already dispersed at that point so it didnt follow him and xie lian didnt say anything so uhhh... someone should tell hua cheng that. Like I dont think xie lian rlly said how much hua cheng meant to him and didnt show him he was loved in grand ways. Like xie lian did always care for bc in other ways but I think if hua cheng learned abt this on screen it wouldve been such a great moment and I'm rlly surprised mxtx didnt address this iirc!?!? Like imagine jun wu telling Hua cheng this in the kiln bc xie lian wouldnt say it himself. Imagine how cool that would be.

Also a small thing adding into the whole young ghost king Hua cheng stuff. Its implied and p much stated that hua cheng isnt his real name. That he likely doesnt have a real name bc his parents died? (It's not clear. I'm still mad at mxtx for not making his childhood clearer). So I'd like to see when and why hua cheng chose that name for himself. The new tgcf ending song kinda hints at its meaning with the lyrics "for you I'd fill a city of flowers" as xie lian is the flower wielding martial god so it's probably inspired by that. Also xie lian saved hua cheng from leaping off the city walls but I'd love to hear him say it bc the implication of his name didnt dawn on me for quite a bit and I dont know if everyone made the connection. Again I sure as hell didnt. So itd be cool to see a chapter that takes place in his past after just ascending as a supreme

Overall I rlly think tgcf had a lot more potential to be even better and a lot of that comes down to fleshing out the side characters and letting hualian have more of a storyline independent of one another. like i know the appeal and message of tgcf is that through love, people can overcome anything, but fuck man. i just wanna see what these two (mostly hua cheng) where like in the absence of each others presence. Part of what I really liked abt mdzs is that we got to see that longing develop btw wangxian when the two weren’t together and how they thought about each other and did things in thei others spirit bc they knew the other wouldve done the same thing. but whatever, mxtx was too consumed by her own unhealthy idea of what devotion and true love looks like but still. i rlly think the extras couldve helped the story be better rather than be fujoshi fuel that i try to bleach from my mind -_-

i was in the middle of another drawing and this idea hit me after listening to the mp100 ost for like the 20th time (some parts remind me of horror rpgs) but im having some Thoughts™ and want to get them out

mp100 x ib crossover/au (or as i call it, mib lol)

mob = ib obviously (they both even have red eyes, and i think thats neato) reigen = gary (do i even need to explain this one) minori - mary (more of a puppet role in this case than solely acting on her own - ) mogami - weiss guertena (both world famous, both put a lot of stock in their skill/profession, AND both created a twisted world after dying that is a hazard to the people trapped in it) also this was all inspired by me seeing the phrase "world of mogami" in a comment and my peanut brain instantly connected it to "the wonderful world of guertena"

im also thinking in this au, mogami still saw spirits and those are the subjects of his paintings, hence why they dont come from "real" dead people. minori/mary could be the exception that is hinted at in the game (im pretty sure there is a hint of one, but i think in reality none of them were based on real people) she could be someone mogami knew when he was alive, but she passed away when she was still young, and thus immortalized only her in a painting

so then the fact that all the paintings come to life and start attacking people makes a bit more sense (minori/mary is seeking a friend that she can truly trust, something she never had in life)

i think at the start of the game, ritsu is walking around with mob and at the moment they look at the ??? world painting, only mob disappears, leaving ritsu to freak out and try to find him back in the real world, but to no avail

an alternate ending could be where mob ends up the brainwashed one, and believes that he's reunited with ritsu, but its actually minori and he is still in the other world idk if this would take the place of the ending where ib chooses to stay with mary, but that could also still work (we all know mob has a good heart, but i dunno if he would sacrifice himself to help someone he doesnt really know, especially when he does already have a real sibling - ib was an only child and likely felt lonely, even if she had parents)

another idea on endings, the good ending where ib/mob returns, they go to the rose statue and standing there talking to ritsu is reigen, and mob is relieved to see both of them alive and well

rose colors: mob - still red reigen - dusty pink minori - blue

if you're wondering if mob still has his psychic powers, im thinking he does, but in the world of guertena/mogami, he isnt able to use them. hes got to figure out how to do things on his own, and that just makes everything even more terrifying for him.

oh and after thinking about dimple, he takes the role of the ant in the green room

Honestly I loved both parts, but I’d say I loved part two just a little bit more for the time that James wasn’t under the curse anymore and LOVED Cordelia

which scene in the book was your favorite?

EVERY scene that had Matthew and James being wholesome parabatai in it!!! my favourite chapter in this book was Blue Ruin, the one after Grace takes the bracelet back from James  (aside from the whispering room ofc).

what scene (or scenes) made you cry the most?

ok ngl i didnt spend much of this book crying, but the only scene that actually made me tear up was when james was dying and matthew could feel it and jesse (WHO I FUCKING LOVED MORE THAN I THOUGHT I WOULD) gave him his last breath :(((((

what scenes were unsatisfactory?

there were not enough Christopher scenes (but to be fair, even if the entire book was just Christopher it still wouldnt be enough for me)

what bored you?

this wasn’t boring, but the whole charles/alastair plot line didn’t have me very invested. I did love the alastair/ cordelia scenes tho, so it was just charles that was the problem

also no offense to james bc he was my first actual fictional crush after reading TMH/NBS but like whenever he talked about being in grace i would literally zone out lol the bracelet curse makes him so boring but whenever he isnt in the curse/ is with someone who is NOT grace i just!! love him!!

what disappointed you?

cassie honestly had me kinda shipping matthew/cordelia for a solid FIVE SECONDS there when he stepped in to dance with her after james left her standing there, but that was one of the only scenes that made me feel like they had natural chemistry (along with the scene where he drops her off at her house). I felt like the during the rest of their interactions in the book, cordelia was kind of uncomfortable, which made me really sad because even tho she has every right to feel that way, i felt bad for matthew. I kind of want him to fall for someone else completely and for it to be reciprocated. also, i just really want for matthew and cordelia to become good friends because i feel like they could have such great natural chemistry if matthew didnt love her.

what are some things that were really unexpected?

ok there’s quite a few things here so bear w me babes:

- James genuinely loving cordelia from the start. I wasn’t expecting him to naturally feel nothing for grace at all, so i was expecting a slow burn jordelia, but finding out that he actually loves her makes me so happy but the end where cordelia thinks he was just pretending breaks my heart :(((

-matthew liking cordelia lol definitely was not expecting another parabatai love triangle but i hope it doesnt last. i do think it adds to the plot and i love it, it just hurts to see matthew so emo :(((

-I was expecting to like cordelia as a character, but i ended up LOVING her so fucking much???? she’s so three dimensional to me, and it’s interesting to see how her personality adapts around different characters as people adapt around different social circles irl

-liking jesse as much as i did

-ok so james’ entire character was a surprise to me. it’s so fascinating to see how the bracelet actually affected his personality.If you recall him in The Midnight Heir from TBC. he’s like an entirely different person. i still loved him in TMH but i went into CHOG thinking that if he was gonna be like that the entire time i’d probably get over him really quickly. i was pleasantly surprised by how much i ended up loving him even more tho

-i didn’t expect oliver hayward to die and im going to stay emo about it

- Christopher is so much more clear headed than he was made out to be prior?? like there were so many scenes where he was fully there and when he defended anna to alastair i just kfdsnfkld i love him

are there characters that you didn’t like before that you like now?

yikes umm... Alastair, maybe? he’s somewhat okay to me now, I dont dislike him as much as I used to. ooh and Hypatia Vex. the only scene i remember liking her in QOAAD was when she helped out kit, ty and dru (me, going a whole TSC post without somehow mentioning kit? not possible)

are there characters that you liked before that you don’t like now?

I started CHOG ready to give Grace the benefit of the doubt, and I was surprised by how timid and shy she seemed at the start, but it was interesting to see how it was all an act and how she doesn’t have an actual personality yet. one could argue that she actually does love james, but i doubt it at this point. i dont hate her yet, even tho she IS fucking up james’ life, but she’s on thin fucking ice.

who was your favorite new character?

does new character mean completely new or just never been in a novella new? because for the first, it would be Cordelia (i LOVE her sm!!) and other wise it would be james, matthew and co. also!!! jesse!!

what places in the book would you like to visit?

that hell dimension sounds pretty lit ngl

did you like the ending?

ok so. we KNOW that jordelia is gonna be endgame. cassandra clare always takes the hardest path to get there, but when has she not delivered? it’s just a matter of waiting. so, yes, i did like the ending in sense of the plot because it was a great twist, but i also feel really bad for all of them even tho ik they’re eventually gonna be together :(((

what did you think of the epilogue?

i wasnt surprised, since we alr know that Tatiana is shady asf, but i just really wanna know how she partnered up with a GREATER demon like lol wtf. again, im really happy in terms of plot with this

what are your thoughts on the engagement?

i feel so. fucking bad. for cordelia. and james too, even tho he’s under the bracelet’s curse so he doesnt even KNOW he’s being manipulated. but i love how even through the curse, james still loves cordelia in his own way.

what did you want to see that didn’t happen?

matthew getting therapy periodt

umm honestly i just want more “merry thieves” content like i just love. all of them.

what do you wish had been resolved that wasn’t?

i really want matthew to tell james or cordelia what happened because i just need him to be loved and supported lol i want to give him a hug.

jordelia!!! and lucie and jesse are kind cute rn, and i like them if theyre gonna be pining after eachother but i feel like if they actually get together i wont like the relationship as much.

"They're moving in,"

You step back from the window overlooking the battlefield, gaze turning to the woman standing at a table with a man laying across,

Shuri glances at you, fingers moving through the screens of her computers, frowning,

"The process is taking longer than usual, only because its a stone," Shuri steps back from the computer, as you walk up to her, hand fiddling with the sleeve of your armor,

"I'm going to go help them," You exhale, "Stay here with Vision, get the stone out and stay safe,"

"You're going out there?" Shuri questions, as you nod, picking up a gun left by a guard and pecking her cheek,

"We're defenceless up here. The longer we stay here, the quicker time they have to get to us,"

You turn to the open doors of the lab, gasping when a hand wraps at your throat and backs you up,

"You're not going anywhere," A firm voice causes you to drop your gun, Shuri spinning around and eyes instantly meeting the red of one of the villains, Proxima Midnight,

Proxima shoves you backwards, watching you stumble into the edge of the lab table and sink down, hand at your head,

"Hand over the stone," Proxima orders firmly, sticking out a clawed hand,

You crawl forward, picking up the lost gun and stumbling to your feet, shooting two bullets so you could inch towards Proxima while she was distracted,

You elbow Proxima in the face, hissing when she catches your wrist and twists, pinning your arm behind your back,

"Shuri!" You call, "Get-" Your free arm flies in front of you when force presses to your back, falling onto your stomach and rolling over, coughing as Proxima plants her booted foot to your chest,

Your teeth grit, eyes peeling open in time for Proxima to press the front of her gun to your forehead,

"The stone," Proxima raises her eyes to Shuri, who had pressed her hands to the edge of the table, one arm slowly behind her back,

"The stone!" Proxima repeats, voice louder as she presses the gun harder to your temple, your eyes pinching shut,

Blasts sound, your eyes opening in time of Proxima stumbling back to cover her blasted eye, Shuri grabbing your arm and tugging you upwards, tossing you a Wakandian gun and pointing her own to the enemy,

"You'll have to get through us first," She snarls, your figure moving next to her to block Vision on the table,

"Easy," Proxima chuckles, dodging your quick gunshots,

You move forward, ducking when she throws her fist, and your gunshot hits her side, Proxima backing up to growl and grab at her uniform,

"Shuri!" You look over your shoulder, reloading your gun, "Get Vision to higher ground, get that stone!"

Black hits your vision when weight rams your front, your gun sliding to Shuris feet as she looks up, your figure hitting the glass window you once stood at, glass flying outwards of the battlefield,

Shuri gasps, dropping her gun, rushing to the edge of the window and catching sight of you on your side, Proxima feet from you on her back,

A beep from the machine connected to Vision makes Shuri look over, glancing at you feet down before rushing to Visions aid,

You groan lowly at the pain in the arm you landed on, sitting up to cough on smoke from fires, head snapping up at yells on the field,

You sit up in surprise, looking over your shoulder to see a group of aliens rushing towards you, yelping when a clawed hand grabs your arm and jerks you up, flipping you onto your back,

"You'll die alone. Just like that pathetic friend of yours," Proxima leans down, gun at your forehead a second time, and you swallow, fingers at her ankle in an attempt to push her off,

"She's not alone,"

Proxima raises her head to search for the sudden voice, eyes finding three women surrounding you,

Okoye spins her staff in her hand, pointing the dagger in Proximas direction, "Release her, now,"

"What is so important about her?" Proxima laughs, force of the gun pushing your head against the concrete, your eyes pinching shut in case she pulled the trigger,

Natasha pulls out two blades, Wandas hands glowing red as she stepped forward,

"One step," Proxima threatens, red eyes meeting Wandas, "And I'll shoot her. If shes so important," Proxima raises an eyebrow, "Get the girl up there away from the stone," She jerks her head to the floor with the shattered window,

"We cant do that," Okoye says lowly, Proxima flicking both eyebrows, cocking the gun,

You inhale a sharp breath, air releasing when Proxima is wrapped in red dust, thrown back, rolling onto her side and dropping her gun,

You sit up, eyes wide, Wanda moving forward to attack Proxima up close,

"Get her up top!" Okoye shouts to the blonde running up to you, and she takes your hand, helping you upwards,

Okoye jabs her staff towards Proxima, who dodges to the side to avoid being stabbed,

"I cannot leave my soldier," You gasp in, Natasha looking at you before she reaches the thankfully working elevator,

"You're one of the queens, right?"

You nod, and Natasha nods back, "If I was given orders to protect you from a specific person, I'm doing as told because I am an avenger,"

The elevator opens, and you move inside, foot bouncing as if it would speed the process,

"Who are you married to?" Natasha asks suddenly, trying to ease the tension in your shoulders, "King Tchalla?"

"God," You breathe, "No, I have no interest in men," You lean against the wall of the elevator as Natasha raises an eyebrow, "I was originally assigned to marry Tchalla by my father and his mother, but I realized I loved the princess instead," Natasha smiles when your shoulders relax, "I'm just glad its not looked down upon,"

"Are you two close?" Natasha asks, noting there were still three floors to wait on, "I've known marriages that were forced and no love was between them,"

"Very," You smile back, "It was weird at first, I'm not from a place like Wakanda so now suddenly having guards with me almost twenty four seven is different,"

The elevator dings, and you step out, moving downwards to the last door of the hall; The lab,

Shuri stands up from her knelt position at the machine connected to Vision, turning around in time for you to set down your picked up gun and extend your arms,

"Are you injured?" Shuri puts her hands at your shoulders, running them to your wrists, "You fell almost six floors down,"

"Im okay," You breathe, "Natasha here along with Wanda and Okoye saved me,"

"She was very calm," Natasha speaks up, and you glance at her to smile,

"How's the process with Vision?" You ask, Shuri taking your hand to pull you to the table,

"Almost complete. This is the slowest process Ive done, I almost didnt have the tech for it," She looks at you, and finds you rubbing your arm,

"Where does it hurt?" She leads you to a table against the wall, demanding you to sit,

"I just landed on it," You try to reassure, but Shuri carefully lifts your arm, watching your face for signs of pain,

She presses into your upper arm, instantly releasing when you jerk and hiss, "Ow, that hurt," You mutter,

Shuri frowns, stepping back and grabbing supplies to wrap your arm, "You sprained the upper half. Guess youre stuck up here with me," She teases,

"I'll stand at the door incase one of Proximas men come up," Natasha steps back, nodding once before stepping out,

"You had me worried," Shuri says quietly, your eyes looking up at her. You could hear the screams of your people and soldiers in the distant, and it made your stomach turn,

"I'm alright," You tuck a finger under her chin, lifting her head to press your lips to hers, "Now that I have you as a personal doctor,"

"Shuri!?" You push through a prickly bush, looking around the silent field, "Shuri!!"

"Your highness!"

You spin around to face Okoye, eyes wide and full of tears as your hands clench, "Stop calling me that!" Your voice makes Okoye halt, her own eyes dull, "Shuri-Shuris missing, I-I cant find her,"

"Y/N," Okoye tries again, quieter, inching towards you as you caress your throbbing arm, "Shuris gone,"

"Gone?" You swallow, "Where? I-Is she dead?"

"I dont know," Okoye exhales, "Shuri along with Tchalla himself both vanished into dust,"

"That's ridiculous," You scoff, "They cant just vanish into dust, I-" Your eyes watch as a man with a gun and long hair falls forward, disappearing into ashes himself,

Fairy Tail Unpopular Opinions

ok so. im taking this idea from @mika-milano bc their post was very well written, entertaining, and just a rly good idea. so check their post out!:) and thank u for the idea!

and now. a disclaimer.

so im 19 now. i started watching fairy tail when i was 14. this show has been very near and dear to me for a long time. it was one of the first anime i ever watched, and it has my favorite all time ship (gruvia ofc). also i would kind of be lying if i said that most of the reason i still keep up with the manga and show wasnt bc of gruvia. bc it is lol. but. it DEFINITELY has its flaws. and here r some of my opinions on them.

1. so much doesnt make sense

ok listen lol. i think we can all say that its kind of obvious when mashima hasnt thought things through or just pulls things out of his ass out of nowhere. i dont wanna go too in detail about this because if im being honest, there is a lot that i just flat out don't remember. what i can remember is that as the story continued to go on, things seemed to make less and less sense.

2. the best arc is the tower of heaven arc

wow ok. i cant really tell u why i love this arc so much. but i do. im not even a jerza or erza stan (i love them both, but like not my fav pairing or character by any means). but idk. something about this arc was so intriguing, intense, emotional, and just enjoyable to watch. seeing the depths of erza's background and her relationship with her past, jellal, natsu, and the rest of the guild was just amazing. idk why this arc sticks out so much to me, but it really does.

3. lisanna shouldve stayed dead

now this one isnt even bc i hate lisanna or anything. i like lisanna! i even like nali! (not as much as nalu but still). her death had such a great impact on her siblings, natsu, and the rest of the guild and watching them all have to grow past it was incredible (especially for mira and elfman!). and then they just brought her back. not only did they bring her back, but they brought her back for NO REASON! she just became another side character! when she came back to life she had no further impact on ANYTHING! and it made the whole "natsu's childhood love/bestfriend" thing seem so much less important and way more fake.

4. more ppl jus shouldve died overall

with this one im mostly just talking about makarov. but still. waaaay too much death bating. like they died and then magically came back to life. too much of it. felt like nothing was ever really at stake. im saying this but like if juvia had actually stayed dead i would have thrown a FIT lol

5. i wanted more of cana and gildarts

thats it. all i really have to say ab this one. they r cute and i wanted to see more<3

6. juvia is underrated

ok now i am SUPER fucking biased lmao. bc juvia is the BEST character in fairy tail imo. but like come on! she's beautiful, loving, smart, sweet, powerful, funny, badass! shes perfect! and shes waaaay stronger than everyone thinks she is smh. clearly she is the best choice to stan.

7. lucy is overrated

ok look. i like lucy! kind of! idk man shes smart and nice and cute but like. not as powerful as everyone thinks. she's definitely one of the most developed in terms of her strength FOR SURE but still. not very strong. and her character just aint for me:/ sorry!

8. levy should be a lot stronger than she's portrayed

it seems like for some reason since shes small that also means shes weak, but like, that just aint it. solid script magic should be really sick and she should kick ass way more than she does especially for how smart she is but no. mashima always makes her the helpless one:/ rly sad bc i like levy a lot and ik she could be way more badass.

9. the only ship that i rly just flat out hate is gr*ylu.

like nali? i like them! nerza? fine! grayza? also dont like and are second to gr*ylu but i mean i dont have a fiery hatred! lyvia? cool! gratsu? sure! all of them i can get behind in some way ahape or form but i just HATE gr*ylu. idk why i hate them so much but i just really do lol.

10. fairy tail's old animation was way better

while i do think every character got like way more attractive with the new animation, the rest is just bad. not nearly as pretty, crisp, consistent, or colorful. its just blah. sorry sis thats the tea.

so like im actually kind of excited to plan my funeral???? the schedule is: survive uni until this coming spring, go on that kr / jp trip w the sis and have the best time ever, come back & graduate, plan my funeral, and Then, and only then, can i finally start living my life w.o any worries cuz everything will be accounted for! i rly hope i dont mcfreakin die between now and my trip cuz i cant plan until after i come back lool so im praying some freak accident doesnt happen :’^)

anyways i already started looking into it a little, and i deffo need to appoint one of my friends as my agent cuz Fam do Not interact also ik they wont follow my instructions like i need someone to go online and post so all my friends kno i’ll never reply to them again cuz im Dead and they wont be left hanging! and i want to be cremated in v specific clothes sooo... and can u be cremated with photos? papers? ik u need to remove jewelry and combustibles but mayhaps print outs or letters are ok LOL i tried googling this but i cant rly find info ig i need to wait until i meet w a director or smth also imo it makes no sense to spend an absurd amount of $ cuz im Already Dead there are better uses for my money sooo we r gonna make it as cheap as possible hahahaha which means no embalming, im thinking Direct cremation, miss me w a fancy ceremony or viewing or whatever. also bodies get real ugly real fast after death so nty the funeral can be After the cremation, with my remains and a nice photo of me, i think that would beat having my actual corpse in the room lool Also, theres gonna be like minimum decoration cuz... save money... can u have like.. a private ceremony? ig u can do whatever u want after u get the ashes back cuz im thinking,,, like a chill birthday party with friends kinda setting w... my friends and my sis and cake, at one of their houses LOL relatives what family gathering who? also we r not gonna spend $ on getting 3131065 flowers even tho that’d be very aes, but Instead i’ll have a Death Playlist and u can watch naruto or smth haaaaaahaha omg what if i make a powerpoint or smth Highlights of My Life ksdjnksjhkrg *laugh crying emoji*

still thinking abt what to do w the ashes idm if my sister kept it, id have her make a mini shrine for me LOL or any of my friends can keep it idk split it up, rotate one urn idc.... putting it into a niche and decorating it sounds nice too! anyone i kno can visit it anytime then! my sister has first dibs to any of my possessions but most of my clothes dont fit her so anything else she doesnt want is up for grabs for my friends the only things i wont give away number two atm and they are stuff i got custom made for myself so ya those rings and norigae are staying with me (my remains aksjdakjfh) im gonna incorporate them into design of the me-shrine / niche setup or whatever i have it all thought out u_u

i wish i could attend my own funeral / party and check out the setup w my remains pls can i hang around as a ghost until then?
