VIOLET SKIES: MULTIVERSAL MELTDOWN Text Doctor Fighting Game, JOTA concept
Character Name: Jay/JOTA

Fighting Style: He rips and tears until nothing remains.
Super Move/Ultimate Attack: I can't think of a good one, i'm open to suggestions
Unique Mechanic/Gameplay Gimmick: Suit Type character, where you rack up damage and their suit activates.
Taunts: TAUNTS:
JOTA holds a tiny statue of his opponent in his hand, he laughs as it turns green, then crushes it into tiny pixels
JOTA spins his hat around and cackles at the camera Jay takes of his hood, stares at the camera while grinning, and shushes the viewer. Jay spins around, and points at the back of his hoodie, it reads the words "GAME OVER" JOTA spins his scythe behind him, cackles at the camera, and his eyes flash with sirens sounding in the background
VICTORY POSES: In JOTA/Jay’s 1st victory screen, there is a cabinet with a game running something themed after whoever lost with jay leaning against it, then JOTA crawls out, striking a pose as little “+87 PTS” show up next to him
one of the victory screens could be jotette doing a little pole dance on her scythe, then flipping it around to point it at the camera, then it like.., zooms out to be a either a poster or a magazine signed "~Love, Jotette <3"
The opponents victory screen, but they slowly gain a green color scheme as they contort into a puppet pose as the camera pans up to JOTA, looming above them laughing like a maniac.
jay writes another tally on his lab wall, then tosses a knife at a hanging picture of the opponents player character
JOTA chases the foe through his arcade, then holds up their head, presenting it to the camera
Stage: JOTA's Arcade, since the arcade is a part of jota, I think if you were to fight on the stage and get a fatality, jota's death sentence of a finisher would change to the opponent literally getting consumed by the arcade
Stage Entrance: Jay crawls out of a arcade cabinet onto the stage. another gimmick - for jay's specials, the suit CAN show up, but only if you press a trigger button while doing the special, but it will cost a slight tick of the meter
MOVESET so far:
Jab/Quick Attack: Jay: slashes with his knives, then a flurry of them as he cackles. Strong Attack: a heavy hit from him. Up Tilt: Jay swings his knife overhead Down Tilt: Jay sweeps the foe on the floor with green strings. Forward Tilt: Jay tosses a knife Dash Attack: Jay flies forward lunging with his blade. Neutral Air: Jay flies upwards with two wings made of green glitchy particles. Forward Air: He lunges forward and kicks the foe Back Air: Jay chucks a knife behind him Up Air: A upwards stab that grows vines. Down Air: A downwards stomp. Grab/Pummel: Jay grabs the foe by the neck, and pummels by attempting to suffocate them.
jay's toss - he uses the strings for most of these throws
up - he snaps his fingers, and green strings throws them upwards down - jay just stomps on their skull with a slasher grin, burying them left - he stabs them backwards right - he points and more strings throw them away Specials
Up - He tosses up multiple knives (If you have your suit charged a bit, it's a upwards slash from JOTA, you hold the left trigger key to use the JOTA variant, it costs 1 tenth of the meter, every hit you land is one notch you get back.) Down - He curb-stomps the foe (suit charged: it's a downwards shout from JOTA, stunning whoever's in his way Left - He points at whoever he's in front of gets sent back via a arcade cabinet crushing them (You press trigger and the cabinet has JOTA crawl out of it, slashing at the foe for extra damage) Right - Jay punches them (Trigger variant is JOTA slashing at them with his scythe) If you hold the trigger button for 5 seconds, the suit activates.. When you fight Jay in this game, it's always a gamble, and you rolled your life away.. NOW IT'S JOTA'S TURN TO PLAY (in the next reblog ofc)

During Bowsette's 2nd anniversary a thought popped into my mind: if such a character were in Smash, what would her moveset be like? So then I came up with a "fusion" concept, combining both Peach and Bowser's Special moves. This is the result.
Of course, in my vision of this concept, this would be a fusion character, and thus, more powerful than a regular single fighter, which is why some of these might seem a bit too... overpowered lol
Fun fact: The NSpecial is mostly based on Bowser's SSF2 counterpart where it's a fireball instead, but here it contains either a Goomba or a Koopa Troopa, and when hit, they'd both break out of the fire and explode, specifically Goomba releasing spores (since it's also a mushroom)
Fun fact N°2: The glider she uses for her USpecial is the same glider Bowser uses during a very iconic Mario Kart moment

I've been watching a bunch of Shenmue-related stuff recently (mostly moveset videos, I know next-to-nothing about the actual story or gameplay), and I decided to animate one of Ryo's grabs (Vortex Throw, I believe it's called) in NGPC style (with Ryu doing it, I'm not about to make a full set of custom Ryo sprites for one post lol):

OK so I was thinking about a possible moveset or assist Trophy for smash from poppy playtime

Their name would be survivor from project playtime just like hero from dragon quest.
Their moves would clearly use the grabpack with different hands doing things

Being able to take the survivor hand will be easy by the opponent being able to attack the hands 3 times ( when the survivor uses them in terms of grabbing or hitting.
Normal hands such as blue and red have small reach.
Green hand

This hand would shock opponents and can only be used for 10 seconds when selected
Purple hand (Up + B)

When used just like banjo,sonic, and megaman, a thing would spawn to jump higher. ( p.s purple reach is a bit longer)
A Hand pad would boost the survivor up.

(This is all I got for now with me not being sure what the final smash will be. Maybe it can have something to do with huggy since I imagine his face being the icon for the series)

This is the second of the three big discussions focused on potential future content in the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl series I put up like a month ago! In this one, I ramble about characters and stages and also alt costumes and colors that could be fun, like Kitty Katswell, Timmy Turner, Charlotte from Making Fiends, maybe a stage based on Attack of the Toybots or Chalkzone, Spongebob in his Goober Wizard outfit, all sorts of stuff! I got so stuck the day I wanted to upload on what the thumbnail should be haha! In the end I settled on Parker (being a mailman and all) delivering some Nick Brawl invites, and I guess it turned out okayyy, but like...not a greaaat thumbnail...? But whatever! I think the video is fun! And hopefully some of yall think so too!

Mario + Rabbids Spark of Hope: Bwaluigi (Enemy) moveset
ANNOUNCEMENT: I AM MUCH EARLIER BACK THAN ANTICIPATED AND MY REST IS SOONER OVER THAN I THOUGHT. I RETURNED AND HAPPY REUNION! HOORAY
Hello M+R fans, I present to you a fanon moveset for Rabbid Waluigi or as he is known in the game as Bwaluigi. He appeared as a boss alongside Bwario (Rabbid Wario) twice with the second battle having them being accompanied by the Lava Queen, the strongest Valkyrie there is in the Mario/Rabbids universe.
Now let us begin with the moveset:
His weapon of Choice is the Darkmess Spiny Bat, a Baseball Bat with a Spiny Shell on top of it and is a single target attack at close range (5m) dealing 3207-3347 damage.
He can with a team jump 3 meters from his position and stomp on his opponents (on demanding has the same Radius as Bowsers at max, on any other difficulty it’s 7 meters). He also gets Greedy dash that allows him to steal money, he can dash 2 times and steals money and gains a boost in attack power by 1% per coin. In my Bwario post, I added that feature in order to make him a tad bit harder as a joined boss with Bwaluigi and the Wario bros.
His technique is called Intimidate where he lowers their defense by 35% while also on demanding lowering their attack power by 15%. It has higher rage than Exhaust (25 m) and takes 2 turns to be usable again.
He has over 6000 health and can move up to 9 m on the battlefield. He is a Hooligan of the highest order and trashed both his opponents with his strength and his powerful physique, a bully with the power of Darkmess on his side.

Along with making sprites (or, sprite edits, I guess would be more accurate), one of my favourite elements of fighting games are planning out movesets for characters. It's probably what I do most in my spare time, when I'm not making sprites.
So, I might post a few things about the movesets I come up with, from time to time. I'm not sure if there's much of an audience for that stuff on here (a brief check in #moveset showed me mostly Smash Bros. stuff, which I'm not not interested in, but it's not my main focus), but I think it'll be fun to share, regardless.

Came up with this idea for a smash moveset for Filbo Fiddlepie from Bugsnax. Let me make it clear that I did this for fun, and didn't really take into account stuff like how well this moveset would work in a competitive setting. What I'm saying is don't take this too seriously. This is gonna be a long one, strap in folks.

*Entrance-Filbo rides in on the flying ship from the beginning of Bugsnax.
*Jab Combo-A couple of slaps, followed by Filbo flailing his arms around like he's catfighting.
*Forward Tilt-A headbutt.
*Up Tilt-Filbo swings his paw above his head.
*Down Tilt-Filbo reaches out with a slap while crouch.
*Dash Attack-Filbo trips and falls on his face.
*Forward Smash-Filbo's hand turns into a Noodler, and he jabs it forward.
*Up Smash-Filbo hops in place as his horns turn into Banoppers.
*Down Smash-Filbo's hand turns into a Spaghider and he whips it to both sides.
*Neutral Aerial-Filbo flaps his hands wildly, as if he's trying to stop himself from falling.
*Forward Aerial-Filbo's hand turns into a Cocomite, and swings it downward.
*Up Aerial-Filbo's hands turn into Rainbow Sweetieflies, and he claps them above his head.
*Back Aerial-Filbo's hand turns into a Dr. Sodie, and he swings it behind him.
*Down Aerial-Filbo stomps downwards as his feet turn into Big Bopsilces.
*Grab & Pummel-Filbo grabs the opponent with the bug net, and elbows them.
*All of his throws were essentially copied from Villager.
*The Bugsnax series icon is a Strabby.
(The two Kirby hats are just two different ideas I had for them, pick the one you prefer)

*Neutral Special: Sauce Slinger-Filbo pulls out the Sauce Slinger (which can be held like Link's bow), and fires chocolate at his opponent. If hit, the opponent is covered in chocolate and will take 1.25x damage from your attacks (like Inkling's ink mechanic).
*Side Special: Snakgrappler-Filbo uses the Snakgrappler to grab whatever's in front of him. Against opponents, it works as a quick grab and throw, but it can also be used to grab items and ledges.
*Up Special: Lunchpad-Filbo uses the lunchpad to spring up into the air. It basically works like Sonic or Banjo & Kazooie's Up Specials.
*Down Special: Buggy Ball-Filbo places down Sprout the Strabby on the stage. Pressing Down B again while he's out causes him to run to you. Sprout damages any opponents he runs into, but he can't jump, so he can only follow you horizontally, he can jump off of the Lunchpad, though.

Sprout will follow opponents covered in chocolate automatically as long as they're close enough.

*Final Smash: Feeding Frenzy-A massive horde of Bugsnax run across the stage, damaging any opponent they run into. It ends with a legendary bugsnak dealing the finishing blow.

*Up Taunt-Filbo does his funny little dance that he does at parties.
*Side Taunt-Filbo gets surprised by a Bunger.
*Down Taunt-Filbo hugs one of his plushies.
*Victory Screen 1-Filbo chases a Strabby back and forth.
*Victory Screen 2-Filbo builds a campfire and sits down next to it.
*Victory Screen 3-Filbo finishes an interview with the Journalist, then he stands around awkwardly.

*Filbo's colors are all based on other major characters from Bugsnax. I chose the colors based on color combinations I liked, but also tried to pick colors that had visual variety.

*Stage-SnaxBurg: Players fight on a flat plane, but can jump up onto the SnaxBurg sign in the middle. In the background, other residents of SnaxBurg hang around to watch the fight. (The houses are just in the background, you can't interact with them).

*Filbo's music list and spirits (The pink triangle marks remixes). I know Bugsnax has been out for a couple years now, but Smash sometimes tries to avoid more spoiler-y stuff for more recent games, so that's why I left certain songs and spirits out.

*Mii costumes that get released alongside the character pack.
*The PvZ costume comes with a music track (Brainiac Maniac).

*Filbo's Classic Mode-First Come, First Serve: The theme of this classic mode is characters known for eating. There's a twist to the gameplay in that food is constantly raining down (except for in the boss stage).
*Round 1-Alph (Garden of Hope): The Koppaites are known for their appetites, and Pikmin 3 (Alph's debut game) is all about collecting food.
*Round 2-Pac-Man (Battlefield Pac-Land): I don't think I need to explain this one.
*Round 3-Pit (Palutena's Temple): Pit loves food. He also wasn't used in Kirby's classic mode, so this helps Filbo's route stand out.
*Round 4-Bowser (Paper Mario): Putting Bowser on the Paper Mario stage and choosing the song "Tough Guy Alert" was a reference to "Bowser's Inside Story", a game about Bowser eating things.
*Round 5-Yoshi Team (Super Happy Tree): Another self-explanatory one. To differentiate from Kirby's route, I made it multi-man fight.
*Round 6-Kirby & King Dedede (Fountain of Dreams): You already fight Dedede on Fountain of Dreams in Kirby's classic route, but hey... Now Kirby's here too.
*Boss-Rathalos: Fighting a giant monster in the harsh wilderness is something that happens a few times in Bugsnax, so I tried to reflect that here.
