I’m so proud of how this patch turned out even if it does look kinda shitty, simply because I think it looks really good regardless. I hand painted the letters with an old ass brush and oil paint that got literally everywhere.

I’m 100% gonna redo the letters eventually. Maybe once I get my hands on some actual fabric paint/markers.

Y’all have no idea how long the barbed wire embroidery took :,)

The back of this jacket is gonna be so much fun to make. I’m not sure if it’s like, too colorful? But I really like how I laid everything out. The plaid is gonna cover the really blank looking bottom corner, so essentially this design/layout is gonna be the entire back panel(?).

Five of these patches are old (clean) socks that I cut up, and one of them is part of the loop that was on one of my boots that ripped off when I was trying to pull it on, so that’s fun. Also one of them is the tag from an old shirt that I thought looked neat (I then spent almost an hour using a bent safety pin to painstakingly undo the stitches holding it on)

Also yes, I relocated the Mothman patch from the front bc I did a really fucked sewing job and kinda hated it.

Also also the patch I yoinked from that shirt tag is like, silk or some kind of silk-adjacent material so I’m gonna sew it onto some t-shirt fabric before putting it on the jacket. I realize that this could have been avoided altogether by just cutting the shirt, but I still really like the shirt and wanna keep wearing it.

I’m planning on getting a bunch of pop tabs to sew onto the shoulders of the jacket bc I don’t have studs or spikes (and I think it would look cool) so I’ll post an update on that when I get enough tabs for it.

Kingdom AU character introduction - King Saitama with his pet Rover

Seeking thrills of fighting, he goes out expanding his Kingdom through war. Currently the most feared and ruthless.

Ps; So I talked with my friend over how King gave up his throne for Saitama. It went like this

King: Hey Sai, how about 'you' becomes the King? Let's exchange.

Saitama: Not interested, too much work.

King: Then I'll be your advisor.

Saitama: Dude, I'm not even royal blooded.

King: Let's plan to overthrow me, and I died in history but I can still be with you in a disguise of Royal Advisor. So your brute, my plan. We can rule the world!

Saitama: Unbelievable.

Also:

"Now you are monarch" "Nah.. too much work" "Here is the royal treasure.." "I'm in!"

The thing is King has always been afraid when he needed to fight even when he had Saitama as his Royal guard/protector. Of course, Saitama did all the fighting and violence while King with his intelligence at navigating and planning. They are best bud after all.

Coming back to this WIP skin, and it's amazing looking at the code. I've learnt so much this year! It shows even in the little things, like the amount of CSS shorthand I use. But I've got to say I am still very much vibing with the contained feel of this skin. Especially with the header on the header on mobile. I need to stick a new avatar in, though. Alas, the old one disappeared when nickpic went down.

I'm thinking of dusting off the code and selling the skin as a multi-sale. Would anyone be interested? I'm definitely going to overhaul the forum row and board stats, though. I've got a much clearer idea of how I want them to look now. Anyway, it's a fun little side project.

I LOVE THEM I’m so tempted to do smth TMA style, they’re seasonal workers in a national forest, the locals are strange, unnerving, and the surrounding town, as much as it tries to hide it, has a high, unexplained crime rate for such a quaint town, cases of otherwise perfectly kind, normal people, lashing out violently, normally followed by their disappearance, of course our narrator, Maddox knows nothing of this, her coworker Quince on the other hand, knows more of the strange happenings, as she grew up local, though she doesn’t let on a lot of this information to Maddox, Maddox simply is taking the job as, he needs one, and seems to be avoiding home…

{Lil Update🐍}

Yerr here I am…AGAIN!✨ Ok I’m going to keep this explination very short so here I go. Senior year is here, I peak at tumblr here and there but mostly focus on my work so i don’t worry about failing grades, things are going great and I’m starting to see an improvement in my art.

Got it? Got it.

Now onto what else I wanted to talk about in the format of a list:

- I’m going to finally get to those Kei Asks!!! The wips have been sitting in IbsPaint for a while now. If you don’t know what I’m talking about: [X] - Been working on the TWST Yokai AU with @hebidanshi We’ve made amazing progess and went…a little bit insane yesterday that we pretty much made a whole ass plot for this world. If we were ever bored with TWST and separate it from the AU, we would literally just have an original story on its own. Really it’s been fun to plan something like this with the people I apprciate a lot. CORNY I KNOW BUT I MEAN IT!

Have a little W.I.P of Ungaikyo!Kei as a treat!

- I’m also working on a TWST AU myself with the help of my mutuals on our Discord server. Of course I’m doing it slowly bit by bit as to not overwhelm my poor self. After all I still have school. But I’m so excited to finally get it done and draw the main cast’s outfits. Let me tell you something…when this releases, I’LL BE SO ANNOYING ON GOD‼️😫

- Now here’s something I haven’t talked about in a long ass time… Celestial Horizon Academy. My TWST Fanschool based on Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is an extremely big project of mine that I’m still passionate about to this day. But although I’m passionate for it, I do know my limits. SO! From now on CHA will be put on hold. NOT POSTPONED! But on hold. I think it’s for the best right now since I have a lot on my plate. I’m pretty sure yall understand. Just wanted to make that clear.

AND THAT’S ALL I WANTED TO SAY! YIPPIE! This was long but I’m glad I got a lot out of my chest.

Weekly progress report

Just to stay on top of everything, here's an update on where I'm at so far.

Chapter 8 of CiC has been combed through by my wonderful beta and I'll be reviewing notes and making changes probably tomorrow.

Chapter 9 of CiC has begun, we're in the early parts so it might take a few days before it hits beta stage.

And we've begun revising the outline and general plot to one of my OLDEST wips. With any luck, you'll be seeing more of that, and possibly some snippets, in the near future.

I have a DNF fic that's in editing stages, but because of the backlash I've seen a number of authors face recently, I'm most likely going to post it either privately or anonymously. The subject matter is incredibly Explicit, and fairly kinky, but we'll see what happens I suppose.

That's it for now! I'm still working on a full schedule, but I think I'd like to start doing progress reports on Mondays and Fridays if I can, as this will leave Wednesdays for snippets.

Inside her room was a bright naive child-like wondrous world of color. Her wings were a brilliant white, her skin a fair ivory color, her hair a glorious coffee brown and her eyes a cobalt blue. In her hand was a wooden toy sword and before her was a bag mannequin, holding its own shield and mace. Her stance stood firm, a foot before her and a foot back. The decoy stood no chance as the flying zip came before it could react. Finally, the toy sword took its aim and removed the soldier's head off its shoulders. The flier bounced from the corner of her room and behind the mannequin, her sword stabbing into the flimsy backing of the doll. Once the bag fell to the floor in defeat, the girl removed her sword and folded her wings.

An applause erupted the silence. Out of the shadows came a darker skinned Aviarian with mint green wings and brown curly hair pulled into a tight bun behind her head. "Good job, Ludibrio," said the Aviarian. "Though your speed could use some more control."

On her body was silver armor, the crest of the royal kingdom broad on her chest: a pair of wings that carried a heater shield with two curves at the very top. The shield itself was colored in four equal parts; a fiery red, a calming arctic, a pearlescent white and an enlightening yellow.

The princess bowed her head to show appreciation of her praise. "You taught me the best there is, Captain," the princess said gratefully. "And I've more to teach you as you grow," the woman added.

The captain moved to the head of the mannequin and lifted it from the floor. She placed the removable head back to the piston neck that carried it. A click settled the jawline into place and the decoy was ready to take another battle under its fabric purple wings- whose nocks were coming loose anyways.

She kneeled and patted the princess's hair down and smiled. "Why worry about fighting when you're so young?" She inquired. "Enjoy your youth. One day, it will be the most precious thing you own..."

The princess smiled back brightly. "Promise me you'll live through every moment. I want to see you flourish like the winged warrior you are." Ludibrio pondered for a long moment. Then she nodded with the same caring grin; "I promise, Vigilia..."

Blurb: 

A magical thief who depends on her secret identity is forced to work with a team of people when her city comes under threat. Out of nowhere, she must juggle her dual personas as her heart is pulled in more than one direction, and her life begins to spiral out of control as danger closes in.
