Reference sheet for the skrunklies as they appear in Sunspots, Craters and Mortal Things, a DCA fanfic told from Sun and Moon's POV.

What begins as a brand new acrobatics and silks show (with a new human dance partner to boot) spirals into questions of sentience, freedom for the animatronics, and surviving the festering horror lurking in the labyrinth below the Pizzaplex.

Ask: Astrology Placements for Dancers, Gymnasts, and Yogis

I am thinking of doing a creative healing project involving pole dance, aerial silks /aerial yoga, and some sensual dance. To free the body, free the mind, and unite the body-mind connection for people with trauma (so a Somatic healing experience if that makes sense). This would combine music therapy, visuals, recorded performances, affirmations, and grounding work. I may even include some shadow work journals and additional grounding tools on the website. I want to gently guide others through evoking the root and the strength in their trauma (survival state) from where they feel most comfortable. All of these would be presented in an interactive format. I used to dance ballet but I am hesitant to start this project solo. I will be taking about a year to do this with the level of care and professionalism that I want to provide. Can you give me indicators/placements of the dancers/athletes mentioned? If you are a dancer of any kind feel free to drop your personal placements and any thoughts.

If you would like to give me personal tips, some of my placements are Aries SN(3H)/MRC(4H), Virgo MN(9H)/MRS(9H), Sagittarius ASC, Pisces VN(3H), Aquarius JP(2H), Libra MC, Virgo Lilith (8H), and Scorpio Chiron (10H - R) at 0'. My stelliums are as follows: 2H (Capricorn ruled with Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Ceres, Eros, and Sappho) and 3H (Pisces ruled with Sun, Venus, Saturn, and Vesta). Special mention to 8H and 9H near stelliums. 8H (Cancer ruled with Virgo Lilith 0', Leo Vertex 8', Virgo Psyche 7', and Leo Chariklo 4"). 9H (Virgo ruled with Virgo Moon 10', Virgo Mars 24', and Virgo North Node 28', Libra Pholus 9', Libra Haumea 3', Virgo Makemake 11').

My first time on silks in nearly 2 years. It’s an absolute miracle.

I’d like to extend my sincerest thanks to my stellar orthopedic surgeon as well as my incredible physical therapists.

Sun and Moon Acrobatics

I got an ad from Nike a few days back showing acrobatics for Pole Dancing and Aerial Silks so figured Sun and Moon fit perfect for this! Nothing lewd or sexy, just two boys having fun, goofin off, and playing around!

Since they're flexible robots I headcanon that with access to the internet access provided by Y/N, they can easily pull off some very elaborate dance moves and poses! Y/N is single handedly responsible for the influx of kids who are asking their parents to join gymnastics programs cuz these two make everything look effortless. Moon and Sun skip anything naughty and just go straight for the things they know will blow the kids minds and, even better, impress Y/N with its complexity!

After 9 years of missing dance, I finally went and tried out an adult ballet class last night. It was so wonderful and honestly very easy and low-key, being a beginner class, which is exactly what I need right now as it’s more important to listen to my body and not push myself than ever before since btw, y’all, I’m pregnant! Due this Christmas ☺️

I’m trying out a beginner jazz class tonight too and I’m so excited. I won’t be able to keep up with jazz as well as ballet (due to the pregnancy I’ll have to sit out anything with movements that are too sharp/jostling and some floor work), but since this is a super beginner class I think it’ll be fine and a great refresher.

Jazz has a special place in my heart; it’s what I fell in love with the most as a kid and was the most empowering and meaningful for me, but I was forced to give it up because of it being too “sexy” (though even the sexiness/sassiness of jazz was good for me back then as a traumatized kid because it gave me the opportunity to take back and own what had been taken away from me). I’ve had some more experiences with jazz here and there since then that convinced me it felt like coming home, but I’ve never gotten to really reclaim it. It’s what I’m hoping to really pursue after my pregnancy because I want to feel that freedom and power again and proclaim to the world how much I’ve healed.
