ite shut your assholes listen up bc i HATE when ppl slander my mans blitzo so this is my take

imo i think blitzo is slowly getting character development and i think ppl dont get that fire he caused not only set his crush on fire on accident and he blew up leaving him with scars but also his ther died in that fire and he blames himself for her death and his sister hates him probably for that reason so he also feels guilt for that and his dad idk where he is now but he also hates him too so blitzo being an ass all the time is him just hating himself and thats understandable

and also when he thinks that stolas doesnt like him and only wants to fuck him he is prolly thinking of how when he liked fizz and he wanted to confess to him but the accident happen so he is afraid of liking ppl bc he also doesnt want anything bad to happen again bc when ppl have trauma like that they avoid anything dealing with it like i had trauma with school bc my shit cousin abusing me and shit from elementry school and up until 11th grade and she also controlled where i go and forced me to hate my mother AND now i avoid anything related to school and after 11 grade i dropped,,,i think ppl shld think of blitzo in a psychological way bc yes hes an ass but he has a reason for it and i dont wanna hear any pussy weak ass ppl say "but its still wrong" be openminded cunt and actually take a look at what is happening

also trauma that blitzo had takes literally time to fucking recover from and thats why he is reserved as hell like he can care he does like you saw in episode 7

also little blitzo said he wants to be big in the circus but as he grew up that didnt go well bc of what happened so he went to killing ppl bc its probably an escape and also killing ppl is probably reflecting his hatred for himself so he takes it out on other ppl and OUU also i think since maybe since his mother died bc of what he accidentally did i think him killing ppl is also some sort of control thing like he can control when someone dies bc since his mother died out of his control on accident he yk does that or maybe he just wants kill ppl bc its a connection to the mother in a certain way i feel like his mom maybe taught him how to fight maybe idk but yeah thats also my theories

and also something i want to add is that the reason i think he wants to be in a poly relationship with millie and moxxie is bc its a healthy relationship and he craves the caringness of it but he doesnt want to reveal it bc hes afraid of being vulnerable and he is also jealous bc moxxie and millir is probably a walking reminder of what he wanted with fizzarolli but couldnt so he masks it by being evasive and everyone knows how blitzo is and everyone is use to it so nobody pays no mind and the fact he still likes horses and has horses in his office all around is also bc it reminds him of fizzarolli bc of them playing together so its a coping mechanism for him to keep that close ALSO i think the reason he dated verosika is bc of mommy issues and also he seemed to have a good relationship with his mother and willing to help her and since the dad is an asshole i think he is close to his mother bc yk remember the picture and stuff so maybe dating verosika is why bc its what he was use to

hi hello im a big armor and design nerd, and was wondering if you’ve ever shared your thought process behind the boatem knights’ designs? they are all very cool and I love them

I haven't! I will say there are varying levels of thought process behind the designs, such things usually depending on how familiar i am with the hermit. I WILL ALSO SAY THAT IM NO ARMOR EXPERT IN THE SLIGHTEST! my designs are purely for fun, they're probably not completely functional or accurate.

the designs for reference

Impulse: i was generally sort of thinking that base wise, he was building this big industrial factory. while this doesn't directly transfer into a fantasy knight's design, i was thinking about how just like, tanky, his base is. like big industrial buildings equaled larger plates of armor and more overall protection in my head (im pretty sure, besides pearl, he's the most armored knight). then theres just smaller things, such as a purple collar to match his actual s8 skin and the bowtie, as well as a little decorative "i" . I also have longer trailing pieces of fabric to mimic the long coat he was wearing

Grian: he's sort of the opposite from impulse. for him i was trying to think of light armor that could still allow for flight. its why he has a lot more padded areas. (now ofc im sure his armor is still heavy and flight would be hard but hey this is fantasy im not suuupper pressed) there's a little less thoughts behind the rest of the design as it's mostly just a play on his base skin of red sweater and grey pants.

Pearl: she's probably the second most tanky knight, and honestly there's not too much of a reason for it. her armor is a lot more curved, i guess would be the word, bc to me it sort of made crescent shapes. also i dont think i necessarily had this in mind, but the scalemail segment of her armor is fun to me considering her being a moth hybrid in bkau.

Scar: in s8 scar very much sort of gave me steampunky vibes with his big swaggons, so instead of going with the usual metal armor like the rest of the knights, i figured that leather would maybe match his vibes a little more. on top of that, scar is definitely more of a ranger than a like, traditional knight in bkau, so the light weight armor was also meant to lend to that. the rest is ofc based on his s8 tycoon skin.

Mumbo: he doesn't have all that much behind his design, besides the fact that its meant to match his base suit skin a little. i think at the time i was designing him, i hadn't really watched anything of mumbo's, so i didnt quite know any specific paths to go with him. though being honest, as of now i wouldnt change much either.

anyways those are some general thoughts for the knights. there was probably more thoughts in my head when i initially designed them but i dont remember everything. hope this all made sense :]

romantic first ranchers enjoyers arent gonna be happy w this one bc uhhh jimmy and tango arent together! im a big fan of the canary and his miner so uhhh jimmy and mumbo <3 (do we have a name for them or is it just the canary and his miner?) tango and skizz are in a relationship and they both have a crush on bigb and want to ask him out but hes always coincidentally disappearing when they have enough courage to ask him lizzie and joel are dating, but marriage is a lot different for elves than it is for most other species, and since joel cannot for the life of him figure out what lizzie is, he hasnt proposed bc he knows nothing abt her marriage beliefs martyn has the biggest crush on ren and its obvious to everyone BUT ren. martyns super broke tho while ren seems wealthy enough so he thinks ren is out of his league jimmy and scott are exes. scott is still hung up on jimmy but convinces himself jimmy's the one hung up on him (based on scott referencing flower husbands in secret life while jimmy was just doin what joel told him to do) gem and pearl are ace lesbians. no more info needed impulse and scar have no romantic relationships, impulse bc he just isnt interested in anyone and scar bc hes aroace i havent fully figured out what i want for the roomies + bdubs in a romantic or familial sense. i know for sure bdubs and grian are fae brothers, and cleo and etho have no kids, but beyond that idk if i want cletho or ethubs or roomies polycule, or ffs etho/grian. idk yet man! its hard family like i said, grian and bdubs are fae brothers pearl and scar say theyre siblings but dont elaborate on how ones a vamp and ones an elf jimmy and martyn are biological siblings and lizzie found them one day when they were all younger and decided she was their sister. theyre probably the only ones who have an inkling of a clue as to what she is cleo and gem were siblings when cleo was fully alive, whether they still are depends who you ask. (they both still say they are) pearl acts like a mother to all the mounders none of the heart foundation have family in their little village and neither do either of the scotts enemies sorta the big dogs do not have a good relationship w the heart foundation bc martyn broke into it looking for a place to stay but refused to accept skizz offering them a temp place for free bc it made him feel like they hit a whole new low scar thinks most of the village doesnt like him but theyre just suspicious of him since no one can remember actually buying from him bigb acts like hes suspicious of everyone but hes just anxious and weird lizzie and joel both have a slight dislike of scott but for very different reasons on that note, lizzie also has a slight dislike of skizz for the same reason as scott (angels are more perceptive than most, but still not enough)

my super quick predictions for the guest/hermit duos for decked out tomorrow

skizz: impulse. thats his brother man!!! ya gotta put em together!!! runner up choice is etho, i feel like skizz will need a stronger deck to help him out, and ethos got dungeon knowledge for days to help his BEST/TIES buddy.

lizzie: gem. empires buddies! plus i think lizzie will lean into the "confused and overwhelmed" bit, and gem's casual confidence is a good counterbalance. runner up choice is cub, i cant remember if theyve interacted before (mcc?) but i feel like the vibes would be wild. two chaotic spirits collide.

jimmy: grian. these two are best friends and grian would leap at the chance to tease jimmy while he runs the dungeon. runner up pearl, because she would also tease jimmy mercilessly, but at least her deck would be more helpful.

martyn: scar. this is opposites attract, martyn is pretty focused and tactical while scar has his luck installed upside down, so itd be fun to see how those playstyles clash. runner up is ren, because i dont think its likely, but a gal can dream.

joel: jevin. ive been trying to limit myself to ppl that actually know each other, but this one just speaks to me. theyre both competitive tryhards who enjoy snarking their friends. runner up is etho, for similar "a guy can dream" reasons.

hbomb: false. hbomb is falses biggest fan (og false supremacy truther), and id love to see their roles reversed from their first mcc9 team, with false as the mentor and h learning from her. runner up...bdubs? since h cant collect him in mcc now lol

as for Panthera’s “special mode”, that’s called Mass Obliteration!

Plagg leaving the ring while Panthera is transformed is a marker on how much experience she’s had being Panthera.

When characters are transformed, they absorb that Kwami’s power to wear the suit. Then they expend a lots of that magic to use their powers and if they’re young and haven’t used that miraculous much- or don’t have lots of magic in general- then that magic is pretty much depleted to nothing once that power is used and their battery runs out after five minutes.

The Kwami is like the power source to the holder’s battery/charge, with the miraculous being the chord between them. Usually you need them “plugged in” aka in the miraculous at all time when the holder is transformed. However! Panthera’s gotten so used to Plagg’s essence that even if he leaves the ring for a bit, she can stay transformed as she has a bit of his magic to naturally spare. I hope that makes sense I’m babbling. Thank you to my buddy @ghostatjoes for that lore.

The base was in the original Shanghai episode. Ladybug’s plan was to get vored and break the akuma from the inside. It had organs. Mei Shi had organs. I was so disturbed, I didn’t wanna write that— and also I felt like Ladybug overhauling Fei’s fight was wrong. That was HER villain yknow. Wanted Fei to finish it all by herself.

I’m glad you enjoyed! This was def one of my favorite chapters ever to write. I think the size is an obvious indicator. I hope you guys enjoy Season 3! It’s coming I swear. I’m just writing a fun chapter before I drag you all into my hole of hell that I’ve been stewing over for years.

Here is my 2 cents on the subject , i really dont believe that they will ever get divorce , the only way I see this happening if she decides to leave and find someone who can actually pretend to love her but we all know she is too desperate to let him go, as for Jensen he got with her when she was at the peak of her trashiness her bitchy attitude, fighting with fans, naked in the movies , explicit sex scenes, her anger issues ( I actually believe the story that she nearly assaulted him at spn sets but giving how chill and laidback he is he probably was fine with it ) her fighting fans online etc.., I still remember that anniversary post she made when she praised him for being patient I mean he must be really patient to put up with a massive bitch like her especially back in the days , anyway my point is he not only stayed by her side but proceeded to insert her and her family in all of his business, buying properites together, having multiple children ( tho I believe he was completely blindsided with twins) , so while its obvious the Jensen is tired with her and he is running out of fucks to give and he is not up to play her games anymore but he is too afraid to leave and he probably thinks he should keep it together for the sake of children and public image, I really just hope he won't become miserable and lose himself while doing so

Thank you for the ask Anon. So I see you do not agree they will get divorced. I 100% do not agree with this sentiment for multiple reasons. The things you did mention are interesting however. When it comes to the said near assault on SPN along with other physical assault stories that are floating around (ex. the scar on his nose being from her throwing something at him), it is very possible a big reason why he drinks is to cope with her abuse. I don't think he is "just fine" with her behavior at all. Honestly I don't believe you understand that: A. Men are not the only abusers in relationships, women can be too and B. How people who are being abused tend to behave, particularly when they think they have no where else to go or think they need to stay with their partners especially "for the sake of the kids" like you said. He looks and acts like someone who is being brainwashed by this type of mindset and it's doing him or their kids absolutely no favors. I don't know what you think of this but him inserting her into his businesses is very possibly the exact opposite of what people think (pulling her more out of being married, not more into being married). Putting her in as an EP at Chaos Machines and as a business partner at FBBC (which some sources say she is actually no longer a listed owner of but would like verification on this) could be increasing her net worth, and therefore make it so she gets less money for alimony if she'd get any at all. As far as why he married her at her "peak trashiness", rumor has it that Jensen was medicated the day of his wedding. Rumor has it also that he tried to walk away on his wedding day but was stopped by his dad at least if not by 1 or 2 others. It's possible people behind closed doors have also stopped him from divorcing at least up to this point when he's contemplated it. Even talking about his wedding day being one of the best days ever "not for the reasons you're thinking" and talking about it being "a great party" was very telling.

Also, it seems he is starting to consolidate all of the real estate he owns as he not only sold the Colorado house in November 2022 but also the Austin condo listed on some of the CT house deed documents that someone voluntarily on their own accord sent me a link to via PM was put up for sale about 3 days ago. Are he and his family really moving out of Texas entirely? Is he looking to expand FBBC to another location in CT (or some other business venture) and therefore needs more liquid assets? Does he need more liquid assets in his so called "divorce researching" mindset he is in? Sometimes when people start selling more real estate while married like this, spouses can get stressed out because this means they may try to spend that money and therefore that money is gone before divorce. This is of course speculation on my part. However, I can certainly say that what you perceive as him tying him to her more in this sense is sometimes the exact opposite, him tying him to her more financially in order to be freed from her.

If anyone reading this believes numerology has any significance, I also would like to point out how interesting it is that a lot of the addresses that he's been moving to and buying up since it seems things started to go downhill for Danneel and Jensen in 2018 contain the number 11. Heck, even the Colorado house stopped being listed as of 11/11/2022! In numerology, the number 11 has a lot of spiritual significance as it's said to be a master number and is said to be associated with what some call "twin souls" and soulmates (read the link for more info as to how this could apply here). Weirdly enough, when I was doing research on numerology and the number 11 this at one point showed up from a site called legalreach.com: "A Rule 11 agreement is an agreement between a divorcing couple that outlines how they will handle the divorce process and any disputes that arise. In other words, it's like a prenup for the breakup! It defines who takes what, when assets will be divided, and who gets custody of the kids." Never heard of it before but it stuck out to me while I was doing this research...

Jason Headcanon:

The white streak in his hair isnt actually from the Lazarus Pit

When he gets dunked in there, his hair is still all black. The only thing that changes are his eyes going green (and maybe glowing, i like the glowy eyes), but his hair stays the same. (idrc if he has scars from the wounds or whatever but I am a big fan of the autopsy scar for the angst)

Instead, the white comes in over time. (If we’re going with the resurrection where he was braindead for a while before being dunked in the pit, it starts there, but the point is it’s not actually a pit effect) Slowly, as time goes and his hair grows out, the white starts coming in, and everyone assumes its because of the Lazarus Pit only because they only saw him again years after, Talia is the only one besides Jason that knows exactly why that spot of hair is going white (Damian knows its not the pit either but he doesnt know what else it is)

The real reason is trauma. That spot on his head? Thats the first spot the Joker hit him with the crowbar. Its the first hit he got in, when Jason was tied up in a Robin costume in a warehouse in Ethiopia, with his mother smoking to the side. He still remembers looking over to her silently asking for help and knowing it won’t come, right before the crowbar hits him in that spot with the Joker laughing over him. after that it gets a bit blurry, the Joker hits hard and he mostly remember the laughing and the Forehand or Backand? A or B? and the smoke wafting up from his mothers cigarette, her face only lit up by that tiny glow when she takes a drag and her cold eyes that dont care and how relaxed she is watching him get beaten up and the laughter and cackling and pain pain pain

he likes the eyes because that means they dont look like Sheila’s when she was watching him die, uncaring and unconcerned with the violence bestowed on her son

and he doesnt mind the white because he looks in the mirror (with eyes that arent Sheila’s) and he sees the spot where the first hit landed and he sees the white and hes reminded that he survived and he came back and one day, one day he’ll pay the Joker back for it, for the white in the hair, and the trauma and the death of everyone else that didnt survive and the pain of the unlucky ones that did

and maybe he likes the white streak too because its a visible sign of his death, of that trauma, something that cant just be shoved to the side and ignored, its a reminder that there is trauma from it that he didnt just bounce back to normal with his resurrection that his death did matter and change at least something even if only himself and the only sign is that white bit of hair and maybe that thought…. well maybe its a bit comforting surrounded by people that claim family but would rather he just go back to before to being that kid in green shorts so they dont have to feel guilty about his death and that make him question himself any time hes angry over his own death

(i also like the idea that a bit of his eyebrow and eyelashes are white too - the Joker took great fun in dragging the crowbar across his face from that first hit - the cut wasnt deep so it didnt scar over (or only lightly) but the trauma is still there just like in that spot in his hair)

anyway i think i might have to write a fanfic for this now

The TL;DR 4 them is that theyre little fucked up guys living in a circus 2gether. Skitt is a repressed traumatized clown amphibian, Olive is a sweet jackalope who acts like an asshole as a defense mechanism, and Ena is a chaotic little shithead w a short fuse, whos actually secretly the mom friend. I like to put them in2 situations in my head and then never write said situations down. Also theyre all aspec and trans.

Skitt:

he is simply a little guy! (puts him thru the horrors puts him thru the horrors p) Oh, hes a bit fucked up actually.

-a mishmash of basically any amphibian features i think r cool! It is also a clown! Isnt that silly? Well its actually 4 trauma reasons. Lol. lmao.

-has rejection sensitive dysphoria and wants every1 2 love him so much all the time. Cries and throws up when it inevitably doesnt work out.

A little skrunkly autismic sourpuss. He wishes that he cud b more sincere w people sometimes, but every past attempt has been met w people shutting them down, in 1 way or another. The only person in the world he feels even mildly comfortable around is Ena (and later on in the story, Skitt).

-acts like an asshole around most people bc theyre used 2 being seen as one. And by asshole, i mean a little quiet, sulking, wet cat in a corner of the room who makes angy faces at any1 who invades their space.

-mute! This is bc bunnies do not have vocal chords. Communicates thru sign language and annoyed noises. Screams when overstimulated. Yes, bunnies can scream, just not using vocal chords. There r also other sounds they can make! (mostly annoyed sounds. He does purr as well! Just like a real bunny)

-very in2 music. Plays the harmonica and other woodwind instruments that r easy 2 steal. Can they play good? Uhm. havent decided yet actually.

-has a sort of heart shaped facial scar and a broken antler he got from entirely mundane causes (antler is permanently broke, dont question how that works bc i dunno).

-very incredibly touch averse, only tolerates Ena’s touch. theyre also fat and very fluffy! Great 4 cuddling! But he wont let u. Sorry.

Ena:

Money gremlin!!! Chaotic anarchist motherfucker!!! Probably owes u money! Is currently being gay doing crime. In this world, 1 does not have to pay/steal 2 survive, but Ena does it anyways 2 fuck shit up and stir the pot.

-escaped from a shitty orphanage w Olive.

-horrible anger issues. If Olive is a sourpuss, Ena is a bomb waiting 4 an excuse 2 go off. This is bc in the orphanage, they learned that no 1 wud listen 2 them unless they scratched and fought and clawed and bit and punched. (and shocked!). Shes generally chill tho, just, its easy 2 get on her bad side.

-sorta the therapist friend, bc its good at telling ppl what they want 2 hear. Her charismatic attitude also helps when scamming people.

-uses prosthetics! In this world, aquatic animals r given the ability 2 stay on land 4 extended periods of time via prosthetics! Want 2 know more? Ask me :>

-basically blind. Electric eels have awful eyesight, and shes no exception! She can only see bright lights and colors. They use electrolocation 2 get around. (please ask me what it is if u dont know, i am v happy 2 infodump abt anything oc related!)

Skitt has a triangular dress with purple and yellow split colors, and purple leggings. Pointy, slender legs. A long pointed yellow hat with a little green thingy on top (idk what to call it). Blue eyes with froglike pupils. Minty-green, short, curly hair. A classic clown makeup look (off-white facepaint, a clown nose, and pennywise-esque makeup lines going from the bottom of his eyebrows to the sides of his mouth.

Olive is a jackalope with short, olive/forest green hair swooping over one eye. His eyes are the same color as his hair. Most of their fur is darkish brown, while his belly, his inner thighs, and lower left arm is beige. their right arm, lower legs, and the top of their ears are black. Only wearing black arm warmers thanks to sensory issues.

Ena is a vaguely pirate-themed girlie. Dark brown skinned, with grey arms and greyish legs. Big thicc tail. Mostly black hair. Tattered black shorts and an even more tattered, dark green crop top. Has red eyes and a red sash tied around its waist. Lots of little spots all over their skin. lazy-eyed.

she's a werewolf she's aroace she stalks people on accident. she didn't know what a crime was until the police went after her. her best friends are a supervillan and a failed actress. she thinks she would make a good detective (she wouldn't). she's fun and friendly and sweet but still a fully thought out character. she runs away from her abusive home to find her sister and in the process finds a whole new family. she even takes down the government.

Pris is a short, pale girl with black hair styled to look like wolf ears. she has brown eyes with diagonal red pupils and a bit of a snaggle tooth on one side.

I like to imagine Buttercup has no shame in wearing a dress because she looks good in one. From formal to sundresses, she could be that one chick that shows off her piercings and wear sandals to show off that one ankle tattoo. I think she's confident enough to dress in a liberated sense going off of the show.

I also like "cover up, Buttercup" because it does show how society could affect even a girl of her caliber. It can mirror how soft and vulnerable she really is. She cares what the people think of her, but it only works, if she's genuinely undesirable.

What I don't like is the "not like other girls" label people sometimes put on her. She is exactly like other girls, except she has power and strength to best her enemies.

It rubs me the wrong way because it's inadvertently saying "She's better without trying" and I don't agree.

"She's ugly, but she has a hot body and a pretty face, and all the guys wanna date her and chase her" And then she doesn't wear a dress because she isn't "girly" enough as if anyone would actually care.

I just want some clarity. If the reason Buttercup is ugly is because she's "tough" then I'm going to need some real "ugly" characteristics to go off of like, shes grown into an actual unlikable bitch, or she's so far removed from societal pressure, she picks her nose and spits in public. Shes gotten ocerweight over the years and lost her physique but can somehow still outtrun a man. Shes extremely annoying and loud and doesnt practice the best hygiene so she smells after gym class. She has scars and bruises all over her face from all the fights shes been in.

Not all of this at once, or hell, do all of it at once!

And, I dont care that people make her attractive. I care that it's overplayed.

Not saying pretty girls don't get flak, nor am I saying you gotta go the whole mile to make her undesirableness realistic. I'm just calling the spade a spade.

Being tough isn't enough for her to feel outcasted when she's a HERO. people worship it, Praise her and love her for her bruteness. And if you give her talents, the only haters are jealous girlies who cannot get on her level.

some guy telling her she isn't enough because she'd punch a man and win, shouldn't be enough to make her throw all her skirts away. 10 guys wouldn't if ten fold are still gonna be up her ass crack anyway.

Buttercup is literally flipping her hair and batting her lashes in the cannon series and people are still trying to give her Bunny's backstory.

Truth is, Buttercups the pretty one too, she's just the pretty one who'd knock a bitchs teeth out. Never stopped those types of women before from being oggled at.

Prime example

lol my response is under the cut because I don't want the post to be too long!

I feel like I've gotten a few ask now that critique stories that focus on the superficial aspects of the girls, like if they're described as "pretty" or "ugly." I'm starting to think that the frustration isn't so much that the girls are described as such but because it's just bad writing (a never-ending complaint I have, haha).

The previous anon also discussed Buttercup being either too feminine or masculine, and I just remembered that I hadn't responded. However, I believe she can be as hyper-masculine or feminine as the person using her character wants them to be. It doesn't matter to me as long as her characterization is consistent. Some people connect with Buttercup because she is the more masculine of the three girls, and that's wonderful and amazing. I love how she's become a character people identify with when they're messing around with their gender presentation.

Beauty and gender are all in the eye of the beholder, so what is ugly to one person can obviously be beautiful to the next. It's bad form then that people often use the word "ugly" when Buttercup is presented as "hyper-masculine." There's nothing ugly about being hypermasculine (and also, while I know you didn't mean it this way in your ask, either is being overweight). However, what's truly ugly is how a person presents themselves. A loud, obnoxious, mean-spirited, "bitchy" nose picker is probably going to be an ugly person like you described.

When writers focus so much on describing what a character looks like, especially characters they're writing fanfiction about, they're describing a "person" who the reader already knows what they look like or has their own idea of what the character should look like. Readers don't need to know how pretty someone is or what dress they're wearing if it doesn't lend to the story you're writing, which is really hard for a lot of amateur writers, like myself, because you can see the scene so clearly in your head and want to write it just that way, but giving readers every. single. detail. is actually doing yourself a disservice. Oftentimes, too much description makes the reader mad because "HEY! NO! they look like [xyz]," and then they click out of the fic.

I stay vague when I describe essential features. Like Bubbles has a dimpled smile, or Buttercup's hair is cut short. Maybe even, "Buttercup put on her favorite green sweater." Small shit like that gives readers a clue but still lets them copy/paste their ideas over mine.

But to make readers know "hey people find this person attractive but she doesn't notice," I practice SHOWING not telling. Like, Buttercup walks into a room, Butch observes all eyes are on her, she doesn't notice the attention because it's the same attention she's always dealt with, and because she doesn't pay attention to it, she comes off aloof or "bitchy" from Butch's perspective. How would Butch know any better? He can't read her mind.

That's why writing in other povs and making the character do things is so much more beneficial to their perceived attractiveness than just flat-out telling a reader "trust me, you'd bone her if you had the chance, she's so hot." You get a chance to establish personalities, relationships, and potential conflicts.

Another example is if you h/c Buttercup wears dresses, no other character is going to react to her wearing them. You state, "Buttercup put on her dress." If you want to specify what kind of dress you say, "it was her most comfortable t-shirt dress. She liked it because it had large pockets." Then, boom, that's it. In these instances, describing her appearance is used to convey her personality traits/motives (she likes to dress comfortably. She has a need for large pockets). You're not saying that Buttercup is a "GIRL WHO LIKES DRESSES BECAUSE SHE'S FEMININE, GOT IT?!? BUT SHE STILL KICKS ASS!!" Instead, you're giving yourself the opportunity to explain she likes to collect rocks (??) while also conveying that she likes wearing clothing that people could perceive as "feminine."

If Buttercup is forced to wear a dress that she doesn't want to wear, now, you have a bit of a story to stretch out. Her wearing a dress is odd. People irl would take notice of it, and therefore, you can make a bigger deal about it.

And if you want to show that she's "not like other girls," which I agree is an annoying trope, but I understand some people want to show "feminity" while still preserving their "masculinity," you can do this at the same time you're developing Buttercup's relationships. Example: It is remarked Blossom and Buttercup are both wearing dresses. Blossom and Buttercup both get their dresses dirty. The scene pans to Blossom being frantic about getting the dirt off, bemoaning her appearance. The scene pans to Buttercup, she is shin-deep in a mud pit, stuffing a particularly large bullfrog into her large dress pockets, next to the cool rocks she found.

A scene like that shows that Buttercup likes wearing dresses, but isn't afraid of dirt, rocks, or frogs, as opposed to Blossom, who may be reacting more "appropriately" to their situation, making it clear Buttercup has other priorities ("isn't like other girls" w/out explicitly saying "I'm not like other girls, I like dresses and dirt.").

You mentioned that you like the idea that she'd be confident wearing a dress. Perfect! If she doesn't do it often, and you want to make a bigger deal out of it, you can be like:

Buttercup clicked her tongue as she picked through her closet, pulling out a black halter top dress Bubbles had made her buy two or so years ago. She examined the short number and grinned. When she tried it on, it was a bit tight around her ass, but her arms looked fantastic.

"You're wearing a dress!?" Bubbles gushed walking into the room as Buttercup checked herself out, "What's the occasion!"

"Isn't it obvious?" Buttercup turned around, flexing her arms and shoulders, and they really did look good in that dress, "I got a new tattoo!"

"Oh cool! Is that a bullfrog?" Bubbles asked leaning in to examine Buttercup's upper shoulder.

"On a cool rock!" Buttercup beamed, standing a little prouder, "Badass, right?"

The dress is important to the story. The writer was able to point out she doesn't wear them often, people are surprised when she wears them, she doesn't mind wearing them, how attractive her arms were, the tattoo, and that her ass stretches out the dress, which some people could also find attractive. It doesn't make her seem vain, conceited, or "better" than others. She just knows she looks good.

I mean, I think it gets the job done, and it isn't just a list of what she looks like.

tldr: Essentially, no matter how masculine or feminine you think Buttercup should present, literally, no one cares what she is wearing if it isn't important to the story.

sparknotes version here but when i actually wrote it it was beautiful and metaphorical and shit

this is set in america. undefined time has passed since the collapse of society due to climate change unsustainable system and nuclear warfare. humans now exist in small numbers, but they aint rly human no more. theyre mutated, skins of unnatural colours and four eyed etc something like that. most live in either small settlements or travel around in small groups.

the story is set in what used to be nyc. starts w a beautiful paragraph, describing this mutated deer drinking from a pond in a meadow, pans out to describing how in the background and ariund, nyc has largely become forested and taken over by nature, collapsed building entangeled in vines and giant trees etc. life continues but not as it was, its devastation but it has been reclaimed and it is beautiful

follows these two sisters, a younger and an older one. their parents died in either a hurricane or tornado or something else i dont remember. these kids after so long live in a cultural mindset different to our own and they largely dont even understand what happened in the past fully, but theyre trying to piece it together. the younger one is the one which throughout the story keeps coming up with theories from the remains that something horrible must have happened by these ppl called humans who they may or may not come from, kinda thinks they were responsible for it. the older sister on the other hand thinks theres no way a people which build such giant cities and other stuff could be so stupid as to destroy the planet

the journey follows them getting to nyc for a reason that i cant remember, maybe because theyre both kinda obsessed with trying to figure it all out, little anthropologists of the future ans anyway theyve got to keep looking for food and shelter. they get to nyc and que a series of sweet scenes of them exploring the city for the first time, its beautiful and sweet but also tragic. they have different views on it tho. they keep coming across things from thr past and keep having different interpretations of them, they get into a fight at some point over their very conflicting attitudes and understandings of the past and the world they live in. over how they are the way they are because they are mutated, over their parents deaths, over their struggles. the younger says any species which would live in such a concrete city would have been mad, so disconnected from nature, more proof, the older disagrees, tensions are rising but are mosrly calmed down and over it, when they notice the weather is changinf quickly. hurricane moving in, an unnaturally giant superstorm, acid rain gently starts and the winds picking up

they take shelter in a skyscraper. it keeps getting worse outside. the older is trying to comfort the youngest. they somehow find a tv which still has electricity, they turn it on and its still playing one of the last messages send out to humanity. talk about how the planet has been destroyed, the climate, the war, the resources, how the nuclear bombs will strike soon. the storn is raging outside worse and worse. the older syster finally breaks down. all her rage and fury comes. she tried so hard to have hope that these people of the past must surely be smarter, that they were victims of something they coulsnt control, she tried to look up to them. but she realizes that indeed theyre the ones that did this to the earth. she hugs her little sister tightly que u were right sobbing etc

anyway. they both end up dying in the hurricane, an unnaturally large hurricane, the leftover effects of the actions of humanity. they die holding esch other, bitter and knwoing the truth, in a skyscraper which collapses, the remains of an old civilization. they die, two innocent mutated kids, thousands of years into the future because of the failures of the past. they die like their parents did, by the hand of mistakes and atrocities which have left scars on the earth forever

Grian's powers reminds me a lot of Monoma's from BNHA lol- also it seems kinda op in a way? maybe he can mimic it but its less powerful as the original power? and cleo being able to ducplicate multiple limbs is so cool (lots of potential jokes-)

and if you dont mind i have some ideas for the ones who doesn't have have powers yet-

maybe stress could have ice or nature-y powers? since it fits her vibes in s6 and s7

Bdubs could maybe have something like sleep touch, and maybe Cub could have Vex powers type thing?

and idk why, it could be funny if Etho just. dont have powers. he's just some guy and no one could catch,

Zed could maybe have smthn like potions? for that mad-scientist alchemist vibe?

TLDR; depeshioumn, mourning n ur typical chinese honoring the dead

White Bone Spirit's motivations in Fruit Twins are different than in canon. That is smth i can't really,,, change, because her Canon motivations become pretty much solved Because of her relationship with Six Ear which happens before she ultimately breaks beyond repair (aka the idea that the only way she can reach what she wants for the world is thru destroying it). Xiaotian in canon proves her wrong by pointing out the positives of life and that the world is worth to keep alive because of people one cares about and for the experience of being cared for

Effectively, Six Ear does the exact same thing except millenia before Xiaotian is born. So with that solved, the canon finale doesn't really,, matters to this au. Just wanna settle that real quick

Now to the actual death part...

WBS dies two months after the end of FT!s3. What the plan IS right now is that after the final fight, Nezha takes her up into the heaven to be judged by the Heavenly Court for her crimes against the mortal realm and the celestial realm. But! Shes already dying so they end up just kinda shrugging n keepin her locked up in some kind of room until she finally fades away so they dont gotta really do much of any work about this. It's a tad complicated why she's fading but basically WBS died in FT during The Journey like she does in the book and then she came back thru a spell that worked only cuz as a Jing she "should be granted justice" against Sun Wukong but he suffers no consequences for killing her, therefore she manifests herself back to deliver the justice herself. Stuff happens in the finale that break her logic supporting her claim this is "justice" what she's doing and so the spell breaks right along

She ends up dying in Six Ear's arms. On request of SWK to Nezha, Nezha brings her down into the mortal realm to live off her remaining time with Six in his kwoon/factory-turned-house. Her memories start slipping before she dies so it's all sad cuz at some point she, all concerned, strokes Six's face and asks him what's that big scar on the right side of his face doing there and by the end of her life she just straight up does not remember him at all

So Six ends up mourning for a long time, probably washes the dress that was left behind after her body turned to flakes and hides it somewhere in one of his closets. He ends up distancing himself from the crew except Sha Dali cuz he has to attend therapy, he's still struggling with the "addiction" he had to WBS' light, prolly drinks a lot- that kinda kush

Eventually he bounces back thanks to Sha Dali being there for him n also cuz he still has Clementine there who he loves way too much to not try and get out of his grief at LEAST for Her if not for himself

Long term-wise, he will probably forever miss WBS. Even years after her death he stays in love with the idea of her and what she used to be before everything went wrong, though he does end up recognizing how much hurt she has also caused him after she was let out of her grave by the Bull family. His lowkey obsession/hung-upness about her ends up creating some rifts between him and Clem that they will have to deal with thru communication, since Six has way wider variety of experiences with Baigu than Clem

To say the least, he ends up burning incense n leaving food at a shrine he builds for her either in his home or somewhere nearby where he can attend to it

When did you join the fandom?

i was about 12 if memory serves, and my sisters and one friend at the time were all really into minecraft, and we all got onto minecraft seeds pro to find cool seeds and maps. the app still exists btw. it’s sort of like a social media thing, you have a little blog where you can post about your worlds and builds OR—off topic things.

and over in the off topic section was, naturally, a thriving community of artists and writers. including warriors fans. i didnt even know what fandom was yet, but i played in that sandbox for a summer, then moved to wattpad. somewhere in that time i also found the map community on youtube, and though i never learned to draw like a lot of fans i loved watching them. then i moved off wattpad and kinda fell out of actively participating in fandom for a few years and now i’m back!

Best canon design?

i was just saying earlier that snowtuft’s scar is cool character design, but idk if i want to call him the Best. i really like sol’s, he’s iconic. and now that i think about it yellowfang’s is also very good. and scourge of course but he’s such an easy answer for this. oh and i love brambleberry’s, assuming i’m remembering her right. dalmation kitty. that’s not really answering this question but shhh.

Scene that made you cry?

well, none, but that’s a boring answer. i think the one that stuck with me longest as being really sad is falling feather and jackdaw’s cry killing each other. dotc was my first arc, so.

i wanted to give this a better answer so i searched my discord channel where i infodump about warriors for “sad” and remembered that time i reread tallstar’s revenge and OH BOY. yeah that’s my answer actually. two moments from that book.

when tallstar and jake return and are separating, anx jake says tallstar shouldnt come with him to be a kittypet bc he wouldn’t be happy, and “i’d hate for you to be unhappy” “then why are you leaving?” maybe it’s just bc of that tenelle flowers reading of the scene but oh it breaks my heart. like outside of ship reasons (talljake 5ever) talltail at that point really had no one, or thought he had no one. not even his revenge mission. and now jake is leaving too? fuck, man.

that one moment where palebird talks about finchkit early on. tallkit is like “did you kit her wrong? did starclan want her?” and obviously palebird is experiencing postpartum depression and grieving and at the SAME TIME fucking brackenwing is like “oh i dont know why you had to name her, starclan would’ve given her a name” like shut up!! shut up shut up!! i feel so awful for her and that’s not tallkit’s fault, he’s just not Helping, and she still has to be his mom and it’s just. yeah.

A handful of headcanons on the man himself, just for you!

Headcanon A: realistic

I know most people already headcanon the Divinity Machine made him bigger, stronger, and immortal, and a lot of people like to think it gave him a scar/wound/brand/tattoo similar to Davoth's on his back, but I like to think it changed his eye and hair color too! Something something two different primevals' energies mixing something... But that's why he's got the Blazkowicz blue eyes and blond hair in the classic Doom games, then in Eternal (and presumably 2016, though we never see his face there) he has darker hair and sort of gray green eyes.

Maybe when he killed Davoth and severed the connection the Divinity Machine gave him, his eyes and hair went back to normal, I haven't decided yet.

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

Alright, alright y'all already know my headcanon that he will happily put anything in his mouth, so how about something else.

I hadn't read the Doom Comic until maybe a year or so after I got into Doom, but I think it's absolutely hilarious that Hugo took a silly one liner from the comic and turned it into an angsty, dramatic battle cry of a madness-fuelled man who refused to die. Not only did I fully accept this on learning of its origin, I embrace it. I think Doomguy is screaming it in his head at all times and you can't convince me otherwise.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

He can't actually remember much of his life before he landed in Argent D'nur. Sure, he knows the basics, he was a marine, Hell invaded, he stopped them and beat the snot out of the Icon of Sin, Hell invaded again, and this time he stayed there... and that's the reason he can't remember, because he spent so long in Hell, it began to mess with his head.

You know the saying, "It's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?" That was their goal, to take even the memory of everything he had ever loved from him, make him think that Hell and fighting and violence was all there ever was and would be, and make him lose hope and give up. They ultimately failed- he's fuelled by rage, not hope- but it still left him with a broken mind, only fragments of his past life before he regained his senses in Argent D'nur.

That's also why he clings so tightly to the memory of Daisy: because she's all he has left. She's the only thing he can remember clearly from his past, and even more clearly, finding her decapitated head when he first got back to Earth.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
