The night of the event, you stare at your reflection in the big mirror you have in the hallway. You had chosen a sapphire blue dress, with a modest neckline, nice heels and a beautiful black coat to go with it. You spent a pretty penny for the whole getup, plus the makeup and hairstyle, but it's old Targaryen money, they will not miss it and have probably earned it shadily, so they deserve to lose a bit of it to make you beautiful for the night, and for your friend.

As punctual as usual, Aemond rings your doorbell and you run hastily to the lift, not wanting to have him wait when you know he's not happy to go, to begin with.

He's dressed to the ninth, the back suit, the crisp dress shirt, his long hair in an elegant braid, waiting for you propped against his everlasting old car Vhagar. You can see his eye pop up in surprise at your whole getup; he's seen you in casual clothes, wasted beyond words, at your graduation ceremony, but never so elegant and formal, like a model ready for a glamorous shooting.

"See? I've spent your money right" you laugh twirling around

"I had no doubts" he answers, taking your hand to help you inside his car

"How affectionate do you want me to be?"

"Not overly - he says, schooling his voice - a decent amount but I am not someone for extreme PDA"

"Ok - you smile - unclench Aemond, tonight is going to be a success!!!".

He tries, but you've just hit him like a punch in the face, all these feelings dormant in his chest furiously trying to crawl out of the cage he'd hidden them in for years. He's fucked beyond saving and has no one to blame.

I'm not super back into Bakugan (that five-year solo special interest phase will be missed) BUT impulse buying a Shun funko pop has reignited something in me

SO I'm gonna write some random headcanons of the core six (anything after season one doesn't exist to me lol sorry) and their Bakugan:

-Hitting Shun with the Autisti-fication beam. Only talks when he feels it's important, super observant, can't tell you how he feels for the life of him (I am him, actually). In my hc, he's pretty sensitive to bright lights, fucking hates people touching his forearms or neck, as is over-empathetic.

-Runo wants to be a lawyer. No one's 100% sure where this ambition came from, but it likely has something to do with the constant sexual harassment she faces in her current workplace under the watch of her criminally ignorant father... but who knows🤷‍♀️

-Always designating this hc to the loudest mf in the show, but Dan is a youtuber. That guy is an absolute Clout Chaser. He'd do a lot of irl stuff I think, like challenges, pranks, storytimes- and of course, a lot of Bakugan content. Some would compare him to David Dobrik. He'd fucking kill those people.

-Julie lifts. Girl could bench-press you in a heartbeat. When she gets excited, she'll just grab whoever's closest to her and twirl them around like a doll. However, she's learned to ask people if they're okay with this beforehand since becoming friends with the aforementioned autistic ninja. ^^^

-Alice listens to Death Grips when she knits. That's it. Guillotine has the best rhythm for knitting in her opinion.

-Marucho had a big "in a silly goofy mood😋" phase after he stopped being his parents' bitch. He tried really hard to do silly and "outlandish" things that were actually like... bare minimum. He used an empty chip packet as a hat and thought he was going completely off the rails.

-Obviously Runo swears the most out of the group- girl has a lot to say, and a lot of it consists of "you dumb fucking bitch." Dan tries to swear just as much, but it doesn't come naturally to him so it always feels very off when he does. Marucho, Shun, and Julie don't swear as often, but when they do, it's always unexpected and very hilarious. Alice is the only one who actively doesn't want to swear.

-On the Bakugan's end, Preyas uses a lot of old-timey slang for swear words. Dan told Drago that "fuck" is interchangeable with "play" and insanity ensued. Gorem tries not to swear because he knows it's impolite. Tigrerra also thinks it's impolite, but sometimes you just need to call your fellow Bakugan a bitch (and damn does it feel good, even if they have no idea what you're talking about). Skyress only swore once, when she told Shun's grandpa that she fucked Shun's mum. Hydranoid has never heard a swear word in his life and Alice is determined to keep it that way.

-Little self-insert shipper Laz would kill current me for this, but it has to be said: Dan, Runo, and Shun are in a polyamorous relationship. Three bisexual icons. It was bound to happen. I could write a whole post about their relationship if I could be bothered. Maybe I will be bothered one day.

-Actually maybe the entire gang is bisexual (except for maybe Alice... we need a lesbian other than the pretty evil Vexo lady). At first I thought about making Julie a lesbian, because then she'd be a pink femme lesbian (just like me fr), but I do kind of like her relationship with Billy, so she's yet another bicon. I've also heard of this dude named Tsubasa Ren that Marucho has a thing for, so *slams fist on table* ANOTHER BICON.

-Okay maybe the Vexos and the Resistance and whatever other fucking aliens they added do exist to me, I'll just ignore their entire storyline and how they fucked over my three leading ladies.

Aight that's it for now. Idk if headcanoning works the same way here as it does in the beyblade world, so if you're upset by me making them autistic and gay, I offer you my sincerest eat my ass.

I gotta stop falling for suicidal people. Like my first bf/gf we were cute cuz we were 11 but like even before we started dating they tried to kill themself. At a Halloween party no less. I'm glad I was there to talk them out of it though. Don't want their zombie costume becoming real lol. We broke up cuz I'm too touchy and can't read the body language that says 'stop'. I didn't even think I was touchy I would just like tap their hand with my pinky during class. I only even got one kiss and it was through two layers of mask cuz COVID.

Were still friends I think. Not as close as we were but we're still friends. Still married in tomodachi life and we just had our second kid <3 there's all these remnants of the friendship and I just miss them so much.

And then there's the current boy. Didn't even mean to fall for him. I guess no one does. But this was like a 'he tied my shoelaces and laughed in my face' type of fall. It started one day when he accidentally grabbed my hand when trying to grab a book and I was like 'no were holding hands now'. Rookie mistake. But we held hands all the way to class and it became a habit after that because my hands are very warm and his are very cold. After this I was like 'okay am I fr in love or this a crush or something or do I just like holding hands' and it was really big deal for me cuz I was questioning aromantism at the time (I'm p sure I'm demi now) and then one time we accidentally kissed cuz we were trying to pick something up and I turned to face him and my mask touched his lips. I didn't even get to FEEL it but I still get sweaty thinking about. That sounds weird but like there's a heat radiating from my stomach and hands. Maybe it's the coffee. But still I just. RAHHHHHHHHHH. and then his friends thought we were dating and we kept joking about it and I thought I would get my teen romance or something but I kept second guessing and wondering if I was just in love with being in love or if I was in love with him. And then. Heartbreak. And that's how I knew I was in love with him. Cuz he had a crush on someone else. And now he's dating another someone else. Or he was the last time I checked. And he even said verbally in pe 'i always have a hard time telling the difference between platonic and romantic attraction. I thought I liked you at some point but I don't think I do' and at that point I was like. Clinging to straws and then he just threw the hay bale off a cliff.

And I want to hate him. I want to hate him so much and I just can't. And now. Rahhhhh. He wasnt responding to any of my texts so I was sad cuz abandonment issues and I TOLD him. (I communicated my feelings!!! Yippee!!!) And he said he was going through some stuff so I was like okay and I kept texting him stuff over summer so he could reply at any time but at some point he stopped reading the texts. And it's been like a month and I have no idea if he's even alive. But I WANT to know I NEED to know and I can't talk to my mum about it cuz she'll tell his parents and then he'll get in trouble cuz his parents suck and I don't want ANOTHER friend to hate me cuz I got them in trouble with their parents cuz I thought I could trust my mum not to tell their shitty parents. And I'm fucking sick of falling in love with suicidal people. I want him to be ALIVE so I can HATE him. And I can't do that if he's DEAD.
