Ukai thought that yoga was a no-brainer because if Karasuno was going to win the National tournament, then they had to adopt unconventional means in order to get an edge on the competition

Unfortunately, Takeda, the volleyball club’s advisor, couldn’t exactly find the budget to get the entire team signed up for weekly yoga sessions at the big studio downtown

Because he..... well, lucky for Karasuno, your boyfriend Yamaguchi happily suggested that the team goes to the Karasuno High School’s Yoga Club sessions at the local community centre. The community centre hosts great swim, cooking, and even archery lessons! It would be perfect because it would be within budget and the 7am yoga sessions were always empty, because not many people knew about them.

“How do you know they’re legit? I don’t want my players getting hurt because some kids think it’s fun to twist n’ contort their bodies —“ Inquired coach Ukai. The entire team turned to Tadashi, awaiting his response.

Your annoying sweet man explained that all of the Yoga club members are certified by Japanese Health Standards and they are well-versed in their instructing, it was kind of the point of the club. He was sure the club would love the volleyball team’s company

Your boyfriends’ coach’s face lit up. When Ukai’s next question pertained to how tf Tadashi knew all of this, that’s finally when his face fell

Yamaguchi, quick on his feet, just said that you were his friend and you ran the club.

They believed it obviously, and that’s how it all started

Since there were multiple morning Yoga sessions, Coach Ukai divided the team into years for mandatory session attendance. The first years were scheduled for Monday’s at 7am, the second years on Wednesday’s (same time) and the 3rd years were on Fridays (same time).

You were late to your first session with the boys because even though Yams told you the team would start coming (and to keep your relationship a secret) you were used to being the only one here doing Yoga

You were only slightly startled when you opened the door to your beloved studio and saw Karasuno volleyball’s first years: Tsukishima, Kageyama, Hinata and your beautiful man Yams sitting down on Yoga mats patiently.

You cheerily introduced yourself and greet everyone, finding yourself happy to have the company

Yamaguchi was the only one to verbally greet you back, because the other boys were staring at you with what you would deem odd expressions

Yams noticed his solo greeting too and looked over to his teammates. He frowned because he knew the look on their faces and the lack of a voice very well.

How could he not? It was the same reaction he had when he saw you for the first time he was sure you came out of his wet dreams

You are so hot, and now his fellow first years were noticing

Anyway, the same way you didn’t notice when Yamaguchi had that stare when you two met, you just got straight to business, setting down your pink yoga mat and water bottle and explaining all the rules.

It’s a good thing yoga sessions are supposed to be silent with only the sounds of the rain forest playing loud through the rooms speakers because I don’t think the boys could have spoken anyway

You did basic yoga stretches and had the boys follow your every movement

As you showed them the simple beginner poses, Tadashi caught Hinata and Kageyama sneaking glances at your figure with heavy blushes on their faces

If Tsukki thought you were attractive, which omfg did he ever, he didn’t show it in the slightest

Yamaguchi was happy to call him his best friend

The quick-attack boys could not say the same

Like the schoolboys they are, they relished in seeing a gorgeous female’s flexible body easily contort in front of them

Kags and Shōyō almost had internal panic attacks when you touched them or got close

They weren’t the greatest with girls but they were especially bad when one of the prettiest and fittest girls they’ve ever encountered was touching them and whispering in their ears to ‘turn like this’ ‘open up a bit more’ because of how quiet yoga should be

You laughed when volleyball duo boys started shoving each other when Hinata fell out of a pose and landed on Kags

Tadashi’s eyes narrowed because he selfishly didn’t want you laughing at anything those boys did. Nevertheless, he shook it off

Maybe it will get better once the initial shock of your hotness wears off, Yams thought to himself when he left Yoga that morning.

Sure, because that’s how it worked with Kiyoko right?

Yeah, right. The following Monday you were still hot and the boys were still drooling over you.

At real volleyball practices and at lunch time Yamaguchi has to constantly hear the team (minus Tsukishima) gush about how attractive you are and how it wasn’t so bad waking up early in the morning if you were the view they were getting up to see

Now, Tadashi would definitely describe himself as a pretty calm guy......as would anyone who knows him......

But hearing his friends gush about you like you weren’t the smartest, most creative, genuine, conscientious person...... just an ideal body and gorgeous face not that they would know evoked jealous emotions deep within him

On dates with you he would inquire about the other volleyball yoga sessions you taught and you would tell him truthfully that your class of 3rd years were always fine, well behaved and very quiet because they were too busy fantasizing about you in their heads to talk dkm

and then you told your boyfriend that 2 of the second years were pretty flirty take a wild guess who? But that the one boy named Ennoshita got them to simmer down and then stop with the comments completely

Tadashi made a mental note to do a favour for his future captain

He was beginning to get irritated with the way these strong amazing athletes that he looked up to were reduced to goo when his girlfriend came around

He knew it was irrational to be so upset because he was sure they would chill out if they knew she was his girlfriend but

He just wasn’t ready for that yet.

So he endured the comments because even though the team was full of hormonone-crazy males, they never were vulgar or disrespectful in their remarks that was saved for all of their dreams and shower time

Either way,

None of that could stop the locker room talk.

“Did Y/N teach you guys the puppy dog stretch too this week?” Chirped Nishinoya as he bounced on the balls of his feet. The boys nodded. “Man is she s-m-o-k-i-n-g or what?? Don’t you think so, Asahi?”

Yams looked over from his locker to see the quiet and timid Ace of the team unable to help sporting a blush and nodding in agreement to Nishinoya.

Tadashi did NOT like this conversation. He took to chugging his water in order to distract himself from saying something he was sure to regret

“I-I really like Y/N’s yoga pants. They’re really cool!”

Kageyama rolled his eyes at Hinata's comment. “Of course you do, Boke.”

“Keep dreaming short stack!” Hollered Tanaka as he hopped in a super man pose on top of a bench. “For I will one day marry Y/N!”

Uncontrollably, Yamaguchi’s entire liquid contents in his mouth drenched Sugawara’s back in a spit take. Everyone laughed.

Let’s just say Karasuno’s vice captain made Yams do laps until his legs felt like they would fall off

By the third week, poor Yamaguchi had it up to HERE with the team’s pining after his girl.... be it Daichi’s subtle suggestion to the coach to extend AND increase the amount of yoga sessions, to Nishinoya’s memorization of the exact colour of your lip gloss per session

Yams actually growled under his breath when he heard both I swear to God

Yamaguchi felt like he was going to burst if he didn’t wring any necks first .

The entire team was smitten with his secret girlfriend and it made him insanely jealous. He couldn’t deny it anymore.

You were his. And only his. He wished he never volunteered you to help the team in the first place!

On your dates as a couple, you noticed that Yams was much more tense than he used to be before you started instructing the team. You told him over and over that you would quit this very second because he was so much more important than some silly club. You even suggested easily swapping with your second-in-command as instructor but

He wouldn’t have any of that. Apparently the team was already improving significantly in skill from Yoga like the Coach predicted. You are the best instructor your club had, and his team needed the best.

Plus he knows you love doing it and he puts your happiness before his own

The situation just sucked!

On the final yoga session before nationals, you arranged for the entire team to conjoin in one single morning session that would be longer at two hours instead of one, to go through everything they have learned in a mass session. It was also to make sure the numbers were even because today would be strictly focused on Partner Yoga!

The crows filed in to your studio, excited to see you and set up as usual

You walked in and told them about the partner yoga, and before they could volunteer to be your partner and upset your boyfriend, you told everyone you already had a partner and gestured toward the studio entryway:

Kiyoko walked in with a wave at her introduction and she spread her yoga mat next to you facing the class

Yams didn’t smile back even though he commenced yoga again like his vice captain requested. Yams just wanted all of this to be over so he could somehow sneak you into one of the abandoned rooms in this community centre and take you right there.

Since Kiyoko was only there to demonstrate the positions and not join the class because she had other commitments, she had to leave pretty early

You went around helping everyone like you usually did, and now you definitely noticed how red all the boys’ cheeks were. Yams couldn’t even look at you the entire time he did yoga with Suga and you started to wonder if you did something wrong. Hm.....

Yams couldn’t look at you because he was using every ounce of his restraint to keep from jumping your bones

Before long, Y/N’s final yoga session was nearing completion until you realized that you had forgotten to demonstrate the final pose when Kiyoko was here.

Glancing at your boyfriend who was giving you the cold shoulder, you timidly asked if anyone minded being your partner to demonstrate—

Like zoo animals, all of the boys volunteered!!! You yelped because of how loud they got in the quiet room in a split second.

Yamaguchi felt himself boil over in jealousy. These boys were throwing themselves at the woman who means everything to him, and that was enough to drive any man to the brink of insanity.

While the boys bickered about who would be your partner Hinata and Nishi already started the Rock Paper Scissors tournament, including the usually collected captains, Tadashi briskly made his way towards you with purpose. Without even thinking about it he cupped your face with one of his hands and tilted your lips towards his for a deep kiss.

You felt your knees weaken at the intensity of the unexpected kiss from the love of your life.

Yams wrapped an arm around your waist to hold you steady when he felt your knees weaken.

-ok so everyone knows that this grumpy boy has the biggest soft spot for you

-even if sometimes he’s too shy to upright tell you he loves you, he shows it throught small actions

-at this point you two spend you breaks next to the vending machine so he could get his favourite drink whenever he wants it

-kags gets super flustrated but just nods and everyone is like 🧍

-okay moving on!! he loves it when you play with his hair

-his fav cuddling position is definetly where he’s laying on your chest so you can easily comb you fingers throught his locks or even braid them <3

-as a volleyball player he always makes sure that his nails are neat

oh man oh geez ANON IMMA BE REAL WITH U HERE I DONT. KNOW MUCH. but here’s what i got so far ig ; w;💦

this is probably in a setting similar to post-republic/early empire era, where things are sort of in a shambles and the jedi that survived the purge&force sensitives are being hunted down by inquisitors. if you’re not SUPER familiar with star wars, this is the period of time right after ‘revenge of the sith’ and leading up to ‘a new hope’! think ‘solo’ or ‘rogue one’. (if u know me then u know this is like my fave sw canon era 🤩)

kagome is a former jedi healer, probably a padawan who never got to become a knight by the time order 66 happened. she’s on the run these days, hides her lightsaber in pieces under her shirt, and carries an ultra strong piece of kyber she was charged with protecting, one that broke in two and she and her former master lost the other half of. 👀💦

she’s traveling with sango, a mandalorian bounty hunter whose family was killed during the mandalorian civil war, but under some….not so normal circumstances. along with sango is miroku, a former…probably similar to a guardian of the whills? like chirrut was. so maybe some mild force sensitivity? but not on par with a jedi or your typical force sensitive. shippo is either a lost padawan OR a lil baby force sensitive kid they come across 🤔 not sure which just yet, and koga and the wolves are pirates—and now that koga’s head over heels for kagome she could call in a favor or two if she wanted ;)

inuyasha WAS a youngling but left (ooorrrr got kicked out) of the order before he could really get much training. he and kagome knew one another when they were young maybe? and kikyo was either kagome’s master or her sister, possibly. presumed dead after order 66 but we all know how death goes with her.

sesshomaru was a jedi knight, but not only did he refuse to take on a padawan, he no longer agreed with the jedi ideals and left the order. rin comes along later and she isn’t force sensitive, but he takes her in anyways. i’m thinking he meets kagome when she’s caught by an inquisitor trying to help rin, and saves her. after that… 😏✨ i’m thinking she gets separated from her group and takes up with him for a while, since they’re both former jedi… 👀👀👀 he probably teaches her some things and they get ~close~ because of course they do. 😏 bonus if they wind up with some kind of force bond because whew that. that would really be something.

and then there’s Actual Sith Lord Naraku who has the other half of the kyber kagome has, who’s basically like palpatine and vader rolled into one and in charge of this new developing regime, and his top inquisitors kagura, kanna, byakuya, and hakudoshi. there’s probably a bunch of bs with them but naraku is after kagome’s kyber crystal and that’s A Problem. 😰

so I technically already answered this, but I wanted to reserve my neurodivergent headcanons for this ask so I can have them all in one place! I have so many!!

Hinata, Lev, and Bokuto are all on the ADHD squad. for sure.

I just know in my heart that Hinata is a leg-jiggler and writing utensils fly out of his hand at least four times a day. there’s a reason this kid doesn’t play, like, baseball lmao

meanwhile Lev is the person who will set his feet on the desk of the person in front of him and then jiggle his legs and every time he will not realize he’s done so until he gets told to stop. he will apologize. he will cease for 2 minutes. and then he will do it again. every. single. day.

I think Bokuto’s emotional reactivity and extreme sensitivity to criticism and zero impulse control all speak for itself. the man’s got ADHD I don’t make the rules ok

I am of the personal belief that Kageyama and Ushijima are on the autism spectrum. people can totally disagree with me on this one but I see aspects of myself in them and what are headcanons if not an excuse to project ourselves? lmao

re: Kageyama, he has a really difficult time monitoring his tone of voice, often comes off as rude/aggressive, and has a tendency to say the wrong things at the wrong time. he also sometimes has difficulty interpreting what others say, and he struggles to participate socially or mirror others even though he tries (see: his ‘meat dance’ lmao). when he’s asked to learn to read his teammates better he’s shown to really struggle with it. he also has this whole thing where he doesn’t like to tape his fingers because the feeling of it bothers him and he can tell there’s like a 1mm separation between his fingers and the ball and if that ain’t neurodivergent honey idk what is. also milk is one of his safe foods. I said what I said

re: Ushijima, I feel like this is so obvious I don’t know how people don’t see it lol. he doesn’t mince words, and he doesn’t deal in double meanings or insinuations. he just says exactly what he means, and this is often experienced as rude by people who don’t know him well. his tone of voice is pretty flat, and he doesn’t express emotion overtly like others do. he is also shown to have a hard time fitting in throughout his life. even though the narrative attributes his ‘standing out’ to his left-handedness in childhood, which his mother tried to correct, I personally see this as being analogous in many ways to being a neurodivergent kid. like when his family talks about his left-handedness it doesn’t feel like just a conversation about that, y’know?

ALSO HE READS THE ADS??? HE UNIRONICALLY ENJOYS READING THE ADS IN SHONEN JUMP INSTEAD OF THE MANGA. I LOVE THAT FOR HIM.

anyway you can pry autistic Kags and Ushi from my cold dead hands. I love them so much and if anybody calls Ushijima ‘boring’ or ‘dry’ one more time I WILL fight. just because he doesn’t emote the way you think he should, doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel anything!!!! ugh ok anyway

Tsukki has some kind of depression and at times I really do worry for him lol. like I love him. I love his growth. I love how far he’s come. I also think he should like... see a doctor sjfkd

this isn’t related to neurodivergence but if Kenma doesn’t have some kind of chronic illness I will eat my shoe. like? he has consistently low energy and low stamina that everybody is aware of and accommodates him for? he regularly comes down with low-grade fevers when practice is a little intense? and this is just? how he lives?? my first thought for him was CFS but it could really be any number of things.

FUKUNAGA IS ND TOO. autistic or ADHD I’m not sure, he could be both! you’re probably wondering how I deduced this about a side character from Nekoma who only has like five lines in season 4, but man... I just know this kid is not New Row Typical. there is no fuckin way. the way he speaks and interacts and just ... the way he puts words together .... he gives me improv theatre geek vibes and I know from personal experience that not a single person who is unironically into improv is NT. if it wasn’t for school uniforms, Fukunaga would wear a fedora. not in a m’lady way, I mean he would just think it looks neat and he’d probably stick a bunch of pins in it that he likes and I 👏 SUPPORT 👏 HIM 👏

Fukunaga also seems like someone who would teach himself to do electro swing dances and listen to FNAF and MLP fan songs without even being in the fandoms. gosh I love him so much. he is simply out here vibing. it’s Fukunaga’s world and we’re all just living in it

finally I think Kita and Tendou are good candidates for the neurodivergent squad, though this isn’t a hard and fast one for me. but when Kita started talking about how being methodical and meticulous just feels nice and satisfying I was like,.. we got another one lads. also Tendou is just... Tendou. he’s got Tendou-itis. lmao

ok so I see him being a simp for his s/o and by extension his baby boy uwu

but also he’s so dorky and awkward and cute and can u tell that maybe I’M the simp here

ok anyways 👀

when his son’s an actual baby, he’d probably be nervous and anxious with a bunch of different concerns going through his mind

“what if I drop him?”

“what if he doesn’t like me?”

“how am I supposed to change his diaper?”

ya know, normal concerns

when his son’s young, mans is so excited that he wants to start teaching the little boy how to play volleyball right away

but you also have to remind him that his son can only comprehend so much at once at such a young age, so kageyama has to pace himself

eventually when his son’s a little older and can actually somewhat play volleyball, they’ll practice together and bond that way

will bring his son to his own team’s practice if he can and let him be loved on by his teammates (but also the poor kid would probably be intimidated by ushijima so who knows if he’ll want to go again)

but if his son doesn’t end up liking volleyball, then.... poor guy is gonna have to find another method to bond and get over the mild disappointment he’ll probably feel

he’ll do his best to support his son in any way he can, whether his kid ends up being some kind of volleyball genius like him or someone who doesn’t like volleyball at all; he still loves him regardless

since he travels a lot for his job, kageyama will probably bring a lot of souvenirs back (whether they’re good or bad because I don’t think he can tell the difference, not that his son minds)

in terms of discipline and actually raising the kid, I see him being kinda chill but not afraid to scold him (kinda like how he treats hinata sometimes lol) and makes sure everyone is drinking their daily dose of respecting-women-and-other-human-beings juice

will hold his son’s hand when he’s young when they go to the grocery store or walk through the park and stuff idk I just see it

I don’t think he’ll end up caring much about his son’s studies because he’s really not one to talk, only really concerned about his son doing whatever makes him happy as much as volleyball makes Kageyama happy (but passing is a bare minimum)

not sure if his son is going to inherit kageyama’s love for milk, but you know he’s going to be fed a well-balanced diet and all that

he also loves when y’all go to support him at the games you can, like he will literally scan the whole stadium if he has to in order to locate where you guys are sitting

gets really into the game though, so he’ll only really acknowledge you guys before and/or after the game but it’s ok!! he’s got this goofy grin on his face (especially if he wins) because #proud dad moment

overall, I see kageyama being a really good dad who just wants to do his best to give his son the best life possible

even if there are some bumps along the road (which there will be), he still wants to do what he can to provide for his family

* basically u are a giant pillow when he is watching tv. occasionally will even hook his legs around u to pull u closer to him to hug.

* you don't actually have to watch the tv with him, he doesn't mind if you just do whatever as long as u stay his warm pillow

* if he is sleepy he will move his head to rest on your shoulder and snuggle his face into the crook of your neck. that's a sign to turn off the tv or pause the tape and move so he will actually go to bed

* he is ticklish. if u feel like u need attention u can tickle him and immediately he will react

* he is ticklish AND competitive, so u have to b prepared for revenge and a tickle battle to the death

* n e way other than that i don't really see much skinship in your relationship like he is not fond of PDA and not fond of anything more than handholding and if he can avoid it he will

⇢ scenario: how you’d spend the holidays with them!! | read pt.2 here! ⇢ feat. : suga, hinata, & kageyama (karasuno) x gn!reader ⇢ wc & warnings: 1.7k, none ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ this is me trying to psych myself up for the holidays aha... thinkin of doing more if i get the inspo and make it in time ><

sugawara koushi ୨୧ ˻˳˯ₑ*॰¨̮ the holiday spirit with him is unsurprisingly soft and domestic!! he’s the kind of guy that loves to uphold traditional celebrations like the holidays, your birthdays, new years— things like that because it’s important for him to create memories that you can look back on many years later. you bet the holiday decorations will be up mid-november, so once you see him struggling to hang multi-colored lights along the exterior of your house, you have no choice but to laugh at him at first but eventually help him out!! his cheerfulness and child-like excitement nearing the holidays becomes contagious so the two of you start matching everything: penguin sweaters, (ugly but comfortable) red/green pajamas, mugs that have those cringey couple labels on them— basically, you name it, you and suga have two versions of it to wear/use!! suga would be in an extra-baking mood, too!!

if there’s a holiday party (probably at the school he’s teaching at) that you would be attending with him, suga will volunteer to be in charge of baked goodies! sugar cookies, brownies, donuts with cinnamon sugar, maybe even a raspberry choco cake roll?? the possibilities are endless with your pastry chef of a man, and ofc you make it your duty to help him out in the kitchen!! baking til 2 or 3am, sometimes just goofing off with the flour, cookie dough on the tips of your noses, and suga stealing a kiss (or a lick) here and there. all the while your favorite holiday playlist hums in the background of your colorfully lit home, pictures of the two of you hanging around a tree, santa hats bouncing up and down atop your heads the way you dance everywhere, his arms snug around your waist. while you wait for the last batch of cookies in the oven, suga has already prepared his original hot cocoa for the two of you, making sure he adds extra mini marshmallows in your elf mug tonight— you sit by the couch overlooking the decorated frenzy of your surroundings. and you know you made the right choice spending it with him. :) when the actual party happens, o god the kids love you!! calls you his partner for lifey!! sth cute like that and u don’t know if suga taught them that or they just made it up lol either way, you’re so very excited to see how the love of ur life interacts with his students as, you guessed it, he’s so so good with them!! they run up to him, bouncing up and down just to get a bite of his baked goodies and while he’s handing them out, he also gives them a handwritten card. for each n every one of them!! when did he do that?? you question to yourself, but when he seesn you giving him an incredulous look, he just sheepishly smiles and says, “when you fell asleep on the couch last night, i wrote them last minute.” o,, that’s why when you woke up, u don’t even remember lying down in the bed but you surmise suga had carried you all the way there too :’)

they sing a lot of holiday songs, play those party games like trip to jerusalem or once the music stops, you have to stop dancing or you’re out type of game and just overall lots of fun filled moments and you feel thankful for witnessing such a pure, innocent sight right around the holidays!! ofc once it’s all done and he bids them goodbye with a hug, a hi five or a pat on the head, suga doesn’t forget about you and puts up a mini mistletoe by the door when everyone had left. he has that teasing smirk on his face and you’d do more than just kiss him bec of it but uh, you’re still in the classroom so you give in with a chaste yet sweet kiss on his lips. he returns it a little deeper, but you push his chest off playfully, and boop! him on the nose. “later, sir,” you reprimand lightly, yet cheeks blushing at your interaction with him in his workplace. he shows that toothy grin, and intertwines ur fingers together as u walk to your car and finally spend more time together again <333 his most favorite part of this season!!

hinata shouyo ୨୧ ˻˳˯ₑ*॰¨̮ be prepared for a very hyper and energetic holiday week with this guy!! imagine you two are still in college, he has a break from playing professional volleyball to spend these times with his family. and he chooses to spend most of those days with you!! he is actually very excited to bring you home to meet his mom and (not-so) little sister, and it’s very nerve-wracking knowing that it’s an important holiday for them to be together as a family— and then you’re just gonna crash it like that??? BUT sho doesn’t see it that way! he already sees you as a person he’ll definitely experience even more holidays the next year, and the one after that, but in order to ease up the anxiety that has been building up in your system, he tells you of his extravagant plans for the two of you before going back to his parents’ house!! think amusement parks in the winter, ice skating in frozen lakes, walking on boardwalks with two styrofoam cups of hot choco for him, and a peppermint mocha for you!!

o, and if there’s some downtime with your adventure, he’ll drag you outside where the snow is ankle deep, tells you to take a picture of him in the cold, earmuffs hugging the sides of his temple so warmly that you find so adorable. you’re about to pull your phone out until you feel cold, wet, melting ice smacked onto your cheek!! “SHO, WHAT THE HECK—” you don’t even have time to protest because WHACK, one more snowball, but he missed and it got to your jacket this time. luckily, your phone was still okay but your boyfriend definitely won’t be once you find him as he had started running, your voice calling out to his name in the breezy wind. so that whole afternoon, you were seen having a ridiculous snowball fight around campus (you guys stayed in the dorms until you were ready to leave), laughing when you threw one directly at his open, cackling mouth. shouyo started choking on the snowball, but you were still wiping tears from your eyes at the hilarity of the situation. “STOTPF IM LITERALYLYL DYUINGGG” “don’t be ridiculous” “JDFSKFDJH” and that’s when you actually run towards him, patting his back rather forcefully because oh god what if you did make him choke and his family won’t have a son coming home this time around?!

while you worry in your head, shouyo had already tackled you to the ground, snow engulfing your bodies together. “let’s take a picture here, this is the perfect spot!” he’d chuckle, peppering you with winter kisses, sending shivers down your arms not just because they were cold but also wow, you’re so lucky to be with a guy like him during this season. suddenly, you anticipate meeting his family :)

kageyama tobio

୨୧ ˻˳˯ₑ*॰¨̮ you know what you’re very excited for that kags isn’t? his birthday falls on the week of christmas, and any other normal person would just think, “ah, i can just combine his gifts into one!” but for you that’s a big no-no. and kageyama knows it, and he’s flustered and shy because everyone in his life up until the point he’s met you had always just given him a 1 for 2 type of gift. not that he minded, that’s all he’s ever known in his life so when you promised him a big birthday bash and a special holiday gift, he’s scared for what’s to come,,, although, you know he’s not big on surprises or bigger gatherings, but you wanted to see his reaction as to how you planned it all out! in reality, you just wanted to spend precious time with your bf on his bday and an early christmas before he leaves to go visit his family :(

after tiring hours of vball practice and finals (he’s gotten better at studying, don’t underestimate this guy!) he sleeps in on the day of his birthday, not even realizing the night prior he’s turning a year older that day!! you creep up to his dorm with the spare key he has given you, place the milk and berries cake you ordered yesterday on his desk, and surreptitiously clasp the paper birthday hat on his sleeping head. the guy doesn’t even stir!! stifling your laughter, you pull out your phone and snap a picture of him and you together, your lips puckering to kiss his cheek and— you forgot to turn your phone into silent mode! apparently the click was loud enough for his eyes to flutter open, and when he realizes you’re next to him he feels a sense of relief, but at the same time the rubber around his face became bothersome… only when you start singing happy birthday did it dawn on him… and he can’t get mad, it’s you, how can he??

you eat a piece of the milk n berries creme cake on his bed, talking about the day you’re gonna spend with him.. and you ask what he wants to do bec it’s his special day!! this gets him blushing since he thought you had this elaborate party with lots of people come, and now he feels guilty and grateful as to how thoughtful you’re being for him… he asks if he can sneak in a practice session for vball for at least an hour and you agree, guessing that would’ve come up sooner or later. anyway, aside from that his birthday was spent strolling around the town center near campus, snow underneath your boots and snowflakes showering your hair,,, he places his beanie on yours so it doesn’t get messed up and you thank him with a nose kiss… rudolph, is that you??

you take him to shops so you can buy matching sweaters <3 and he OBLIGES, seeing the gleeful expression in your eyes and smile, how can he resist the beauty radiating off you today? this is the best birthday gift he can ask for. you end the day by grabbing some milk tea, spending the rest of the night getting cozy under blankets, and watching cheesy romcoms to which kags just shields his eyes away… the embarrassment!! >< you end up sleeping in his arms, the ending credits with christmas music playing in the background. the next day, you both wear your holiday outfits (he has polar bear and yours is a panda!!) and take lots of pictures bec you know you’ll miss him when he goes back home :(( he immediately makes one of the selfies u took as his lockscreen: the two of you squish yourselves in between the snowman you both created. your face is lit up with utmost happiness, and kags is just looking at you with a loving grin to his smile as well. :)

OFC ANON!!! I hope i wrote it properly and I hope you like it!!!

Oikawa:

* Okay he’s working as a banker or something HAHAHA HE JUST GIVES ME THE VIBES (I READ THE MANGA BUT I DONT WANT TO SPOIL IT IF YOU DIDNT SO let’s just stick with him being a banker for now HAHAHA)

* He’s so proud of his girl for being in medical school!!!! But it makes him so sad and angry that he’s unable to spend much time with you.

* But he understands that you need to study and graduate with flying colours, and he tries his best to adhere his schedule to yours.

* Of course it’s really rare for the both of you to actually have free time and meet up for a proper date, so he evolves it to coffee dates and video calls with you!!!!!!!

* For coffee dates, you bring your notes and schoolwork to the table, and he’ll bring his computer and his files to the table and the both of you will just work in silence.

* It’s actually very productive for you!!! Because whenever your attention starts to waver he’ll be there reminding you to focus.

* As for videocalling you, there are times where he knows that you’re so swamped with your work and revision that you can’t even leave the house.

* So he suggests videocalling!!!!

* The both of you’ll will just probably skype each other, and you’ll do your work and he’ll do whatever he needs to do, and when it’s time for dinner he’ll insist that you get something to eat and make sure to watch you eat something in front of him!!!!!!

* He isn’t a medical student, so he doesn’t really know much about medicine, but if you ever need him to quiz you on something, he’s happily holding your flash cards and asking you the questions, and pressing a quick kiss to your cheeks when you get it correct!!!!

* He’s just so PROUD OF YOU!!!! And he knows that you’ll do so well in your studies and you’ll be a brilliant doctor.

* He also can’t wait for you to finish your studies because he wants to hurry up and marry you already.

* Okay THIS MAN is probably a medical student as well AHAHAHA (well i read the manga AND I DONT WANT TO SPOIL IT IF U HAVENT KALALALALALA)

* I MEAN LOOK AT HIM. He’s brilliant at chemistry and probably second in class for biology in high school!!!!

* So it’s an unspoken path for him to take.

* He’s in your class, and he’s so HAPPY that you’re there with him!!!!!!!

* But of course it’s really hard to juggle his revision and studies while dating you at the same time.

* So he comes up with... STUDY DATES.

* Y’all are literally meeting up with each other nearly every single day of the week to study your asses off.

* The good thing about you studying with him is that you remain focus nearly the entire time.

* The exception is when Kuroo decides things are getting a little too serious and he tells you a silly joke LOL

* He also makes you take breaks when the both of you study together.

* In fact, one of the reasons he suggested study dates was because he wanted to make sure you were eating properly and drinking enough water.

* Whenever you don’t know anything, you can always ask Kuroo, and he’ll happily teach you how to answer the question!!!!

* He also tries to get you to do a practical for anatomy but LALALALA THATS A STORY FOR ANOTHER DAY.

* He’s just so proud... you know??? Like you’re this amazing person that’s studying medicine like him, and you’ll probably go to work at the same hospital as him after the both of you graduate, and then the both of you can do...THINGS in the hospital. 👀👀

Kageyama:

* Okay. He’s probably working as a professional volleyball player...

* Bc as much as i love him...do you see him???? He can’t even pass his exams???? SO ANYWAY HES GIFTED in setting so he’s a professional volleyball player.

* A professional volleyball player and a medical student???? Both things take up so much time.

* Your schedules always clash and it always makes him so sad whenever he’s unable to meet you and can only look at pictures of you.

* But anyway, he’s going to videocall you every. single. day.

* You’ll be poring over your notes and writing something down when you’ll see his name pop up on your screen.

* LMAO ITS LIKE A LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP but y’all make it work bc the both of you love each other so much!!!!!

* Whenever he has days off from his practices, he’s SPEEDING to your apartment and he’s pulling you into a super tight hug.

* He doesn’t really understand the medical jargon that you occasionally spout, but he’ll try to search it up when he can and one day he’ll try to relate to you!!!!

* You laugh at him when he uses the wrong words but it’s so endearing that he’s trying, and you just press a kiss to his lips.

* But you’ll always make it to his games no matter what, even if he says it’s fine if you don’t, and he’ll always be there for you after a major exam, bringing ice cream over for you to eat and relax with you.

- you guys have a joint tiktok account but it really just consists of you and oikawa doing popular tiktok dances. sometimes matsukawa and hanamaki joins in too

- poor iwa-chan always gets pranked on by the four of you but it's his fault that he always falls for it smh

- anyways, the guys were skeptical of you when you first joined!!!!

- since a lot of girls have joined just for the sake of being near oikawa

- so they were beyond shocked when you only talked to kunimi and paid no attention to the rest of the team for the first few days

- like the other members, you would throw out any compliments to bring out his full potential for the match

- the different thing about you is that you do this 24/7, even outside the match or practice

y'all REALLY liked that last one omg so here's a few more.

(a/n: i have written kageyama's part three times and oikawa's twice why can't this stupid app SAVE MY DRAFTS)

anyway this one is dedicated my one and only follower you're a real one homie 😌

Kageyama Tobio

he was the one to ask you out

tbh he had probably been pining for a hot minute before he finally got himself together

you had been helping him in class during free time because ya boy isn't the smartest and needed someone to help him study

and one day he was watching you explain a concept and he couldn't help but notice wow uh,,, y/n is really cute,, wait what??

anyway there's a big test coming up and our boy kags is stressing

so you volunteer to help him after school

but he has practice

so you both decide that you'd go to his house after practice

so you meet him at the school and you guys walk together

and you hadn't really talked about your personal lives

but he told you about how much volleyball and his friends meant to him

which was kinda wild because you had always thought of him as cute but intimidating

so anyway you stayed over for a little over an hour but it was getting late

and as you're getting ready to leave he volunteers to walk you home

you oblige because it's getting late plus you don't mind the thought of being together in the dark

and turns out he's just an absolute dork because he's cracking jokes the whole way home

and before you go inside he gets kinda flustered

"hey y/n?"

"mhm?"

"would you uh,, wanna hang out this friday?"

"but we don't have any tests or anything monday??"

just bc you're tutoring him doesn't mean you're not a dumbass

"no like a,, uh like a date"

you agree ofc because who in their right mind would turn him down

i really think he would do something like taking you to an aquarium

mostly because he likes to watch you get excited over all the colorful fish

i've decided that kageyama doesn't know what to do with pda

because ya boy definitely gets flustered easily

however

he could never get upset with your affection

so you guys talked a lot during school but i feel like the most pda that would happen would be like hand holding

anyway after a couple weeks of dating you're walking to his house with him

and you mention that you're kinda chilly and wish you had brought your sweater

this boy has his jacket off in an instant

and also insists you wear it when he walks you to your house after "studying"

and you're wearing it at lunch the next day

and hinata asks kags why you have it

and since our favorite tangerine cannot keep his mouth shut, half the school knows by the end of the week

he asked you

he knew he had almost all of the school wrapped around his finger

except you were always one to call him out on his bullshit

and he found that hot

anyway he was kind of low-key flustered when he was asking you out

the two of you were both the captains of your volleyball teams

so you had that in common

and his excuse to talk to you was for you to teach him how to gain the respect of his teammates

you said he couldn't get anyone's respect if he continued to act as arrogant as he did

which kinda threw him off

but he asked you out anysay

you. laughed.

"are you serious?"

"why wouldn't i be serious??"

you agreed to ONE date

but it turned into several

anyway

this boy LIVES to show you off

would literally swoop by your locker in between classes just to give you a kiss

low-key clingy asf

one day you mysteriously found his volleyball jacket in your locker

you could take a hint

he saw you wearing it after school and OH BOY

he was whipped

you probably could've gotten away with murder if you had been wearing his jacket, he thought

lots of movie dates at his house

and even though he liked to talk a lot he was surprisingly a good listener

mostly because he thought it was hot seeing you angry as you wanted over the latest bullshit

it took him a bit to open up to you tbh

but he became very vulnerable about how he was scared to let down his team

on another note

and surprisingly it's tsukishima who notices you with it on monday because you had first period with him

"hey what're you doing wearing shorty's jacket, y/n?"

"y/n's and i are dating, thank you very much! they can wear my jacket as they please."

tsukki couldn't believe it

neither could anyone else tbh

but you were both happy and that's all that mattered :))

!!! omg thank u Ceru! u might be one of my favorite mutuals <33 (putting this under a read more just so I can speak at lengths about each individual character)

Why I like Kagami: this is where I sarcastically ask “why DON’T i like him” but that’s literally the next question so; he’s everything i want to be and more. He has the determination and the willpower to make his own dreams come true, he’s gay as shit, he’s tall and buff and well-adjusted, mature enough to live on his own at an annoyingly young age, he’s funny and dumb and a total himbo as well as an excellent advisor bc of how grounded he is.

Why I don’t: I’m... not really good with explosive people. Violent men with loud voices especially scare me, and I’d think I’d flinch around him a lot and that would make me rlly anxious.

Favorite episode: it’s a toss-up between the Seirin fam visiting his place for the first time (is it where Kuroko confesses his love to him and then passes out in his arms? idk), and the onsen episode. I also loved all his plays against Kise and Aomine. AND the training camp w him running a lot in the sand.

Favorite season/movie: season 2 probably because he’s not a jerk anymore, but he’s still on his way to shed off any asshole behavior stuck to him. And I actually liked Last Game?

Favorite line: “There’s no such thing as useless effort.” and “This is our drama and we write the plot.” because he’s so ridiculous.

Favorite outfit: all of his casual fits... comfy but manly is my Jam

OTP: AoKaga....they’re truly soulmates, star-crossed lovers, canonically brought together by fate.

Brotp/otp no. 2: KagaKuro, I love them

Head Canon: I have several collections because I think too much about this boy, but here’s something I think about his family: he doesn’t know what happened to his mom. He never asked, because it wasn’t relevant, and he didn’t want to inconvenience his dad by questioning him. Occasionally, as a kid he felt like he was missing out on something (seeing other kids with their moms, feeling like they’re being treated with much more gentle care because they have moms), but as he grew older he realized that nurturing behavior shouldn’t have been limited to only a mother, and that he was just straight up neglected without any regards to missing a parent in his life.

Unpopular opinion: I never realized this was an unpopular opinion but I’m glad he went back to America at the end of Last Game. Obviously, it’s sad that he had to separate from the others, but I felt like Japanese basketball has always been just a stepping point to him, and now that he’d beat the best of them, it was time to move on. And it also warms my heart that him getting scouted in the US gave Aomine hope to aim big, too. I felt like both of them would’ve felt trapped in Japan with their skill sets.

A wish: I want him to be happy and gay and to confront Himuro and tell him how hurt he was by how he treated him and probably do the same to his dad too

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: ....whatever I’d say Shinsun has probably written it/will write it, but I don’t want him to forget about the GoM just because he becomes a world-famous athlete.

Why I like Momoi: she is SO nurturing and sweet and she cares so much about her boys!! I’m sorry it always turns into “how they remind me of myself” but actually I get feeling like a background character and being the moral/emotional/physical support of those who are more talented or in any way better than you. I feel a strange kind of kinship with her and also,,, feminine girls make my heart stop, and it doesn’t get more feminine than Momoi. Added: Aomine aside, the Touou team wouldn’t worth shit without her skills tbh, and she’s not in any way less than the GoM. Also, I appreciate her being the one person to try to keep their friend group together.

Why I don’t: Analytical People Scare me like!! how do u know stuff people are Unknowable!! I usually am also irked by her pointing out Riko’s breast size but I can just pretend that’s in a gay way (maybe Momoi likes girls with small boobs and she’s just bad at flirting) (also I don’t exactly liked her calling Aomine a “ganguro” but I have too little knowledge on the use of this word to say exactly why)

Favorite episode (scene if movie): uh the one where Aomine made her cry? It really came through how much love she actually has for her friends at that one.

Favorite season/movie: she was great in all of them!!

Favorite line: I can’t remember the exact quote and Google isn’t really helpful either but the one where she made Kuroko promise they’ll always play together or something? Or that they’re gonna beat Aomine?? idk?

Favorite outfit: I like all of them but mostly I just appreciate her wearing so many hoodies, she looks so cute in them

OTP / Brotp: it’s both AoMomo. I feel like the have the most special and strongest bond in the entire series.

Head Canon: She’s never been shown to do, but I feel like she wears Aomine’s clothes a Lot. Also, they definitely have sleepovers To This Day.

Unpopular opinion: Momoi is good at basketball and she loves playing!!! But try being successful in it when ur opponents are Giants and Way More Buff than you are

A wish: I wish people appreciated her more!! Both in fandom and in canon. She’s an amazing person and she has her own skills and strengths that are rarely explored or even mentioned anywhere.

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: her falling out with her boys ;-; I do not want that

My nickname for them: Satsuki :> I feel like it’s a little too much to call characters on their first names sometimes but hers is so cute I can’t

Why I like Alex: yet again another woman with an extensive skill set. I love her persistence and again I appreciate getting disillusioned and finding your way back to the thing you love. Also it’s just sweet that she did that by teaching (again, something I can relate to)

Why I don’t: the whole “kissing children” thing rubbed me the wrong way but again, just like Momoi’s obsession with comparing breast sizes, it’s just bad/sexist writing from Fujimaki probably

Favorite episode (scene if movie): adshg any and all where she expressed that Himuro and Kagami are equally important to her <33 that shit makes my heart burst

Favorite season/movie: she only appears towards the end of s2 and in s3 so... I guess s3?

Favorite line: its so Bad that u literally can’t find the iconic quotes of these iconic ladies anywhere but... her story on finding her passion again through teaching kids, and anytime she mentions her fondness of Kagami and Himuro.

Favorite outfit: her iconic olive green coat with the short red shorts... wtf was that I loved it.

OTP: she doesn’t really interact with people her age but I’ve heard she’s shipped with Masako Araki and I’ve seen some seriously good fanarts and like... Yes Good I’d Love To See It

Brotp: I feel like her and Himuro would be that sassy pair that Kagami tries and fails to contain and they get into all sorts of weird, absurd situations asdjs what I’m trying to say is Kagami has to bail them out of jail from time to time

Head Canon: fck me if I’m wrong but she’s the lesbian single mom of the two gay kids she reluctantly adopted from the streets

Unpopular opinion: it’s more like another headcanon, but she can dunk and she taught Kagami how to do it.

A wish: I’d love her to coach the Seirin fam more!! Pls let her be part of her children’s lives (she could also judge streetball games between the goms it would be fun)

Why I like Himuro: em dash Asdgsdj I’m joking, I’m becoming more and more fond of the boy. Once I realized that he shouldn’t have been the “bigger person” in that situation and one year doesn’t really mean much when you’re that young and that hurt, I realized he’s actually a good and hard-working kid and I’m sorry for giving him so much shade. Also I really like his snark and sass, but that might not even be canon at this point tbh

Why I don’t: I’m still sort of irked by him beating down on Kagami because he was envious/mad, but I realized the aspect of that situation that Really got to me was how devoted Kagami still was to him after all that. That devotion was what felt toxic, nothing that Himuro actually did to him.

Favorite episode (scene if movie): the time they met up w Kagami just to exchange a dramatic socially distancing bro fist and a few encouraging words.... gays be Like That

Favorite season/movie: I really didn’t mind s3 Himuro

Favorite line: apparently he’s said some iconic stuff that I don’t remember (and my sources don’t seem really legit) but I’m gonna say “let’s see you become number 1, bro” because again, that’s just so ridiculous and endearing. On one hand he really went from loathing Kagami to rooting for him and wanting him to reach his full potential and on the other, honey ur like 17 stop speaking like That

Favorite outfit: his knitted V-neck sweaters and the black coat with the white fur.... boy’s got all the fashion sense that’s missing from Kagami

OTP: can I say.....AoHimu asdfh I ship 3/4 of these characters with Aomine what does that say about me

Brotp: KagaHimu. They can be sweet, but I’ve only ever seen Jake write them really well

Head Canon: I’ve been entertaining the idea of....trans Himuro.....

Unpopular opinion: everyone thinks that Kagami is the violent kid and Himuro is the chill, sweet child who’s somehow wound up with this mess of a fiery tiger, but it’s actually Himuro who taught Kagami how to fight and Kagami learned quite a lot of aggression from him

A wish: I feel like Himuro should’ve gotten a separate episode to explore his thoughts, feelings and past. He had so much potential as a character Is2g

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: him quitting basketball would fucking destroy me. I’d be devastated for others too, but it would really pull on my heartstrings if he just dropped the only thing he’s been so passionate about.
