I wanted to make a little list of headcanons for mukuro that I either posted on my old blog and forgot to transfer over here or only just thought about them and haven't posted about them lmao :3 It'll be primarily for across all of her verses/AUs, if ones are more specific to various verses/AUs I'll put what they apply to in bold. this is also a list I'll probably come back to every now and again to add/edit

— She loves making people squirm lol which is why she'll wear that type of pheromone perfume from time to time ESPECIALLY at like really fancy parties or in instances where she's around a lot of people lol Mukuro loves watching expressions shift even the slightest amount

— Mukuro, no matter what verse, will always have her nails done in some type of manner. It'll either be something simple like a French tip, or a full set of a single color ( probably either black, dark purple, or nude color ) and she's even been known to do the neon color French tip style before. The shape varies from stiletto, coffin, or lipstick, and they're always long in length.

— She doesn't really stick to just one type of scent, Mukuro's the type to change periodically/seasonally, but she is rather fond of peach or cherry blossom scents.

— the same goes for lip products lol she doesn't typically stick to just cherry or strawberry she'll go for fun flavors like peaches and cream or blueberry smoothie.

— Mukuro will always favor fashion/aesthetics over practicality lmao which is why she learned how to do basically anything and everything in heels and any type of armor she wears looks like it'd do anything but offer proper protection and that tends to show a lot of skin/skin tight. It's also why she'll more often than not get custom pieces ordered/made.

— She also doesn't tend to wear anything that has a lot of layers, mainly because of the scarring on her back and just overall not loving the feeling of how heavy a lot of layers tend to be.

— Mukuro doesn't really consider herself dressing for the ' male gaze ' She honestly wears that type of stuff because she really likes it and thinks the outfits are hot as hell so she'll refer to it as dressing for ' her gaze ' lol

— Also she dresses like that to keep the appearances that she has amazingly high self-esteem, or at least help herself have more of one, when in actuality it's the opposite lol

— While around people, Mukuro tends to suffer from Resting Bitch Face, but when alone ( and even when she doesn't think anyone is looking ) that fades into something that reflects such a deep-seated loneliness

— Physical touch/affection is her main love language but other than the basic stuff like hand-holding and cuddling, Mukuro also loves it when someone brushes her hair or braids/styles it for her. ( plus it doesn't run the risk of her being too vocal about how nice she's feeling unlike getting a massage tends to do lmaoooo )

— When she's standing next to someone and they make a playful/stupid remark, depending on how close they are in terms of friendship, she'll either just do the standard elbow nudge or the playful slap of the arm, but when she's close with someone she'll opt to do the type of nudging she really loves to do and that's a hip check. Maybe it's because her hips/thighs are pretty strong but she loves watching people stagger a bit when she hip-checks them lol.

— LOOK AT ME IN THE EYES AND TELL ME SHE WOULDN'T KISS THE INJURIES OF OTHERS SHE'D PATCH UP ESPECIALLY IF SHE CARES DEEPLY FOR THE PERSON SHE'S PATCHING UP

— bg3!mukuro, when you get on her good side/she finds you trustworthy enough/become her friend whenever she uses deception with someone if you lock eyes with her and the person she's talking to looks away, she will absolutely give a quick sly wink or her lips will quick lift up into a smirk

— Mukuro loves softly singing to herself while she's bathing/showering and cooking, those are really the only times she sings unprompted

— bg3!mukuro, whenever she has armor that would make sense to be barefooted, she'll opt for instead wearing some sort of strappy heel or thigh-high boot.

Incorrect. I am rude to whiny assholes and trolls that feel entitled to share nonsense opinions. I don't just bite. I rip their face and nuts off, kick them, then throw them in an acid container so nobody can find the body.

I'm actually a big puppy to anyone willing to learn. If this is some weird reverse psychology of like trying to jedi mind trick me into not blogging, good luck, chuck.

I do quite enjoy posting ratings, shows, teaching fun mythology, pulling back my old meta, making amends with folks like cyn I didn't get along with or jenn who came back to the server, or other recent rebuilt contacts that came back with apology or awareness. I love teaching people how the industry works, where the money goes, I love people who ask questions without thinking they have a gotcha that always ends up stupid. I love it.

And honestly? At this point? Yeah. I do love ripping off asshole faces. They got too comfortable, sat too long, abused too many people, and are now in meltdown mode realizing that while they were busy pissing around on twitter and annoying jensen with barn photo ops, other people were moving shit, and moving it hard, and it's about to move up their ass so far it comes out their mouth. And good. They can fucking leave. It's not just Robbie's revenge. It's not just Jensen's revenge.

This isn't some world of Everybody Pls Just Get Along. No, this is a world of a show that was directly designed to shred certain people's arguments ground up. This is a world where the old corporate shackles dropped, and new kids are making the rules, and these oblivious bitches didn't realize the pen that got built around them. And there's a few rabid bears about to be set loose in the enclosure. For after I tear their faces off. Just to make sure they smell the blood and go in for it.

Yeah. I'm havin a fuckin blast watching the motherfuckers that abused me and many others watch their worlds burn. For all the times they dismissed my friends hurt by the CW and tried to claim it was just about ship wars, for all the times they grazed over, or disregarded, or thought they could personally Wish away my history by badly doxxing me and, just like this Ari nonsense, not realizing it didn't prove a goddamn thing about production

(and, actually corroborated it, as I openly discussed my escape through texas with kids, my rebuilding, how I was talent scooped, the ongoing rebuilding struggle, and the days my blood ended on every wall, I was almost thrown off a balcony, and every product in my house was upside down. Trying to hold CPS against me in that case or the fact that I adopted my kids out so they didn't have to deal with that? That's legit psychopath shit. But yeah. Then. Around then. Congrats you found the period I said I ditched my media shit to flee the state to Not Die, great detective work)

yeah honestly. having the time of my life here laying on the floor while motherfuckers burn slowly and painfully. I put years of labor into that torment. First them not realizing nobody could hear their screaming; then not realizing the worst of their worst shit talking was fed to jensen as a pipeline that skewed him into spite shipping just to see their reactions LONG before he actually fell into the can in 15.18. But he started playing in season 13. cuz damn the looks on your faces. I've moved shit and pushed shit and blacklisted people and pulled levers and targeted boycotts and all kinds of shit. And now i just enjoy their screaming.

I love watching Suzanne be on her best behavior because the fear of god has finally been put into her.. Given that still comes with tequila, but nobody caught her opening it, threatening anyone, etc, so that's progress. You all keep that up you might get to cling to your shitty little corner of M&Gs nobody's even buying anymore. Enjoy your exclusive elite club of like 6 miserable assholes. I love watching my ravens distribute gifts raised by the hundred in unison while my crows fly in uniform.

Story of a Trap Queen – What is a Trap House Queen

This post is hard for me to write for some reason but fuck it. If you aren’t familiar with the blog welcome. I give unsolicited advice based on experiences. Let’s call it fiction though. It’s just a blog where I write FICTIONAL stories. ONLY.

If you want to be a trap queen, you need to think about a few things first. Do you have any experience in that world? The underworld? The afterparties, backstage, after-hours, strip clubs, the drugs. If you don’t know what I am talking about stop reading now. Go back to whatever normal life you live and stay the fuck away from what I am about to share.

I have been the “queen” of many traps. A trap for people who also don’t know would be a…. never mind. Here is the definition on Urban Dictionary. Do with that what you will even though I don’t think any of those definitions are correct. Being a trap queen isn’t easy. It’s actually super frustrating most of the time. Your schedule isn’t yours. It’s depending on him. And who needs what and when. Sometimes you might go on runs but I would emphasize I’m not a fucking runner. We pay people to do that.

Traps are an intricate mix of individuals, so you have to be used to being around a lot of different types of people all the time. It’s tough late at night when you have already been up all weekend and just want to be left alone. Turn the music off and fucking go to sleep. Maybe fuck before that.

Trap queens need to be savvy and know when to talk and when to shut up. I learned this the hard way. It’s important to talk to your person and make sure that your role is defined. This goes across the board. You can’t misspeak in this world. It could cost money. One wrong comment could kill a deal or put you in the spotlight. It’s important to stay quiet but vigilant.

The mixture of people means you should have an open mind and always be nice. These people might be connected to others. They might be making other moves, so you never know. You can’t be judgmental about what they look like. This is a business just like any other.

As a trap queen, it’s important to be VERY secure about yourself and your image. There will be other women around your man when you are not around. It’s inevitable. You must make sure that you know where you stand in your relationship. Communication and sharing locations are Band-Aids that help but you have to trust that they will come home to you. So make sure you aren’t bitching at them all night about where they are. That will NOT help anyone. It’s best to occupy yourself but not get fucked up. You are still maintaining a trap. Stay vigilant. But yes, it does require A LOT of patience.

If you don’t know about a scale or how to weigh shit do some research on the metric system and how it compares to ours. The US system and metric are mixed in this world depending on the product. You need to memorize these conversions. See this clip from Neighbors 2 with Zac Efron describing what I am talking about (go to 43 seconds) . It’s also important to make sure you know the pricing that you are giving people. That way if you are asked you can give an answer and potentially make a sale. That being said, sometimes when you are out you will be responsible for holding the bag. Or watching it. Making sure that is it safe. It’s like another thing to keep track of.

Speaking of going out. As a trap queen, you always are on point when you go out. But you also must partake in everything. So, it’s very important to be able to maintain in any situation at any time. You also must look like 10/10. Especially if you are moving any weight. They want to see their girl looking like a star and being absolutely unattainable.

The fact is as a trap queen your nervous system gets used to chaos. Gets used to the life and then craves it over and over. It’s only when you distance yourself from that world that your CNS calms down and you can do normal shit again.

Trap queens need to always look right and act right. You never know what could happen and what situation you might be put in. I’ve been put in some very tense situations, and I would not recommend it. Always look right, know the latest fashions and be able to pull off any look. Don’t even think about this, just buy the clothes and put them on your body. Even better make him buy them.

There are some perks to being a trap queen though. Almost unlimited access to cash and drugs. Bottle service whenever you want it. Fancy dinners. Hotel stays. Pool days. Weekends of sex. Usually, it’s better to be available during the week. The weekend is mostly when they run errands, and you hold down the house. It can be lonely yes. There are super highs and then low low lows.

Get used to loud noises and strange people. Staying up all night on the regular. Having to defend yourself against men hitting on you all the time. Staying classy never sloppy. Unfortunately, in the higher-up circles where we were serving - it was also important to never disclose. Everyone wants product but it’s important to keep those clients private. That means don’t talk about it. Not even here lol.

As a trap queen, you need to remember these people too. You don’t want to seem like an idiot who can’t remember what they buy and how much. Also, never disclose what you have in stock and if it’s been re-rocked. If you are in the kitchen doing work - you are doing it wrong. That is their recipe and responsibility. Stay off the stove and in fact don’t even get close. Plausible deniability.

Being in a trap house is just living somewhere that has a revolving door of people. It requires diligence, patience, and observance. It’s important to be noticeable but not loud. Don’t ever discuss business without talking to your man. Never invite people over without approval. You must always be ready to go. It should be effortless. If you don’t know how to do this and it takes hours to get ready you might be SOL. Car services will only wait for so long and I’m not talking about Uber. Get used to black SUVs. Your man might not always be available but his driver is waiting to pick you up and take you to him. Just be ready for that pick-up.

They are looking for a queen who is going to be dependable. That means you can never be out of place, but you don’t have to be constantly available. Never share what they do. Make something up if you are asked. It’s important to keep him satisfied too at all times. I know this post sounds like you are a complete sub to this trap but it’s true. Because the payout is worth it. Do you want trips overseas? Unlimited cash? Clothes and gifts?

If it’s worth being in the spotlight and worth the risk of being caught (let’s not forget this is all nefarious activity) and dealing with darker individuals in the middle of the night. People who are gone. Fucked up. Girls that hit on your man. Guys that hit on you. Like I said above it’s very frustrating.

It's a longer post, but it sums up what you should expect when entering a trap queen role with your person.

Oh the pathetic nannies who absolutely live to tear everyone else down who doesn’t agree with them are after me again! They think that some blurry picture of TOM and Zawe walking together in London is what has led me to add more topics to my blog 😂😂. Clearly reading comprehension is not one of their strong suits and the fact that I don’t give a flying fuck because did they already forget the orgasm they had about the paparazzi pictures from Spain which were clearly the confirmation of their relationship? Using any kind of logic one might think that if I was upset about this in anyway that that would’ve been the day? Are they going to act like any pictures of them from now are a shocking surprise?. There’s literally no story there, I don’t hate Zawe like they want me to so badly and I have no issues with the relationship. I mean I’m just fucking bored. They obsessively fantasize about what they might be doing right now and re-blog old fucking pictures and talk about Loki all day long. And actually they hardly talk about anything positive -they only complain about the people who didn’t like Loki or me. That’s the whole blog. So insanity clause thinks she’s some leader of the fandom but all she and her cult members do is bitch and complain and are negative and horrible to anyone else who dares to criticize their Lord and Savior.

What’s hysterical (and I know they’re not gonna believe me as they as they drool while they read my newest post because I just can’t wait for me to post so they can run back over to her and discuss it) I never even saw that picture because unlike her I don’t obsessively read her blog ever unless enough people tell me that she shit talking me so badly that I should really go and take a look. I also don’t spend all day searching hashtags on Twitter and Instagram.

And finally I love how they all act like they are experts in the film and tv production industry and I have any idea what’s actually going on with the Essex Serpent. And that they can’t just admit that’s something he’s in might be shitty and they need to do reshoots because he stopped filming that like four months ago and suddenly they’re like oh no you have to come back and re-shoot a bunch of shit -yeah that’s usually the sign of a really well done production but you know Saney and her disciples know exactly what it’s like so 🙄. Why can’t they ever admit that something might not be good? Why is it to be a fan of someone from their point of view you have to absolutely adore everything they do without criticism or critical eye? Pathetic.

‘True Beauty’ Taught Me That You Have A Right To Be Seen & Cherished As You Are

Well, well. For starters, this was such a well-made show. Also, post gazillion discussions with my friend, we've concluded that K-dramas from 2019 have become more progressive, liberal and busters of their own stereotypes.

‘True Beauty’ was all of the above along with being funny, cute and addressing social issues head-on. Speaking of the last one, this show really puts into perspective the pressure of being conventionally 'pretty' and the nature of school bullying that leads to traumatic experiences in the life of young Korean adults. For this, I really applaud the show.

The story is about 'ugly' looking 18-year-old Lim Joo Gyung who is bullied by her high-school classmates for her looks and appearance. It is rather devastating to watch the first two episodes because man, they really open your eyes to the gruesome shit people do to other people.

Tired of being bullied and unloved, Joo Gyung decides to switch schools. In the process, she discovers make-up and its unruly power to help her transform her appearance from zero to hero(ine).

As she learns to master make-up skills, she is shocked by how she can manipulate and hide what she really looks like. Plot-twist: she's already met our hero Lee Su Hoo by now, who's seen her 'non-pretty' avatar and since her transfer happens to be in his school, he's already dubious about her made-up self.

This is where the fun begins. Joo Gyung slowly discovers that with the help of beauty products, she can finally be a ‘normal teenager’ who has friends. Lee So Hu confronts her with his suspicions and upon them being confirmed, helps her keep her secret.

What follows is how Joo Gyung battles her own insecurities about herself, how the story displays with beautiful delicacy what it means to be truly beautiful and how, the people who love you will always be there, because they can see who you are, bone-deep.

Rather than using make-up as a crutch to keep running away from her lack of self-worth, we see how our heroine comes to terms with this and how she strives to be beautiful in her own might.

I cannot proceed without proclaiming my indefinite love for Lim Hee Gyung, Joo Gyung's older sister and a powerhouse of a woman. What's not there to love about her? NOTHING.

I love how she's 'manly' enough to chase the person she's fallen for and I love her relationship with homeroom teacher Han Jun Woo, which is a complete power reversal than what is usually shown in K-dramas. She's the man here, she wears the damn pants and looks hot in them while she's at it. He, on the other hand, has no shame in being completely vulnerable and letting her take the lead.

Lim Hee Gyung is everything I want to see in female drama leads. She's funny, digs intense video-gaming, smart, independent and a boss of a career woman. On the other hand, Han Jun Woo is kind, makes for a thorough poet through and through, is calm, composed and very sure of himself.

There is no denying how much I love Hwang In Yeop in Han Seo Jun's avatar. Man, little did I know that the swordsman from 'Tale of Nokdu' was going to be a stellar second lead.

Seo Jun is everything Lee Su Ho is not: funny, understands and respects boundaries, isn't an asshole on purpose, loves Joo Gyung, respects her secret, respects her choice to love someone other than him rather than 'fight' for her by forcefully getting in her way, doesn't proclaim his feelings until he's sure she's not seeing anyone and is in general, SO MUCH MORE FUN than our boring, boring first lead. Sigh.

Women (heroines) of dramas, please wake-up. I'm kind of tired of looking at y'all throw away the most beautiful of men because you think being with a stuck-up-arrogant-cold male lead is 'true love'.

It isn't. Really.

Also, I want to highlight how the show has women running the entire storyline on the forefront.

Be it Lim Hee Gyung, her mother Hong Hyun Suk who's the primary bread earner of the family, or Soo-Ah or Kang Soo Jin.

I loved how adorable, funny and cute Hyun Suk’s husband --- insert *one of my favorite K-actors* --- Lim Jae Pil is. Damn, I love gender-role reversals and what a success this drama has been with them. *happy tears and cheers*

Lastly, let's get on to my favorite learnings from the show:

1. Your healing is your responsibility.

Something we see so beautifully through the characters of Joo Gyung and Su Ho. With their own respective healing journeys, we see them own their self-discovery versus piling it on each other in the name of love.

2. Stop hiding your light.

After losing his closest friend, we see Han Seo Jun shut his heart to music despite it being his first love. But with time, Lim Hee Gyung and Su Ho convince him that it is a loss to the world to keep his musical gifts to himself and we see Seo Jun share his light once again.

3. Your heart is what is the most beautiful thing about you.

Not your clothes, not your talents and not your face. Who you are, how you treat others and how you love is what determines how beautiful or ugly you are.

a bit of a break from the normal reading but how did you get the idea for this story? like,, it has so many complicated twists and turns and i just want to see your thought process of going about this story ahdfjn

Oh man, this is gonna be a long one but let me walk you through it hehe, also major spoilers for the original Zemblanity below.

Flashback to June 2nd of 2020, when Kun's Awaken teaser dropped. As soon as I saw that teaser I thought "hm, I can make a fic out of this" so I opened my little outline app thing and started outlining his character and as all the other Awaken teasers dropped I started filling in for the other members. I'll have to dig for it, but I remember making a post about it on the old blog if anyone would be interested in the concept and I got a lot of feedback so I figured sure why not. Back then Zemblanity had a completely different concept, though. I'm not joking when I tell you guys I picked apart those teasers and the MV, I even watched them slowed down to get whatever little details I could about their concept to shove it into the outline somewhere.

My original plan for it was for Sector V to be akin to an asylum, hence the specific disorders I had back then, but then I scratched that idea and instead looked to complexes. For example, I originally planned for Kun to have this sort of God Complex, I planned for Xiaojun to have a Martyr Complex and so on so forth, you can probably catch some of those hints in the original Zemblanity, though. Either way, I originally planned for the big reveal to be that they were never on the moon at all, no, and (Y/N) was one of the asylum's patients. Kun was supposed to be her main doctor, Ten was the patient she shared a room with, and so on so forth. The point of this is that Zemblanity had a dark theme since the outlinings, I just changed the plot significantly as I went around.

Onto when I actually started writing the fic. 2020 wasn't a very happy year for me, for anyone really. And this wasn't even the crux of the fic. I spent about twenty days outlining it then, June 22, 2020, I dropped the first chapter. This first chapter followed my original draft and it got a lot of attention, both good and bad. With all of the asks and replies I got, I started making changes. I went into this fic with the idea of it being strictly thriller, and I came out with some elements of romance, but despite y'all simping in my inbox for certain inmates, I remembered to go back to this fic's roots. Mystery and thriller, I had to keep you all on your toes. Then, as 2020 continued and my mental state, to put it bluntly, plummeted, I turned to Zemblanity to write out my frustrations. I've said it a couple of times before, but writing is sort of like a therapeutic thing for me. Throughout 2020 I was just angry all the time, I was so pissed, I was so lonely, I had all these emotions and no one to talk about it with so I channeled that into a fanfiction and, hey, looks like you guys liked it, haha

In the first run of Zem, I made twists for the heck of it. Xiaojun knowing everything, for example. The locket, for another. Etc, etc. But now, with that original under my belt, I'm fixing up this rewrite so that there's just so much more re-read value, the twists make sense, and the suspicions arise. I made so many huge plot changes and so many huge jumps between the year long run that it just got messy at one point and it was so far from my original outline that the final product was just different. A lot of what happens in my fics and how they end is based on everyone's asks and how they perceived the characters. Sicheng, for example, was supposed to be a much darker character but you all liked him so much so how could I ruin y'all like that? Outlining this story was a real bitch though, let me tell you, and in the end I even strayed super far away from it. All the twists and turns had to be calculated and placed correctly, and in my original plan they were, but as things changed I realized "oh shit I can't use this twist anymore" or "oh man, I might need to establish this now before it's too late" it was all a hodgepodged mess that I'm trying to fix now haha

Either way, a lot of this fic was malleable, it went through so much changes as my own mental state fluctuated all over the damn place. All I knew was that I wanted to make a fic that would be fun to read, one of those fics that you can't put down until you were done with it, and I think I did pretty good for the most part.

Beauty wasn’t in the eye of the beholder, no, it is in the mind. Sukuna was enraptured. Addressed again, he shifted his posture, leaning into the arm of the couch as she did with her chair. The two were close in their cohort. An air of comfortable conversation lingered between them, much to his dismay. Her question wasn’t unusual. He’d been asked it in the beginning of his career and one where he had a planned answer.

I knew some stuff about it before, but it’s really rich! I hope it’s not too information dense for you guys. Either way, Punk!Sukuna is now my comfort au and writing him is an absolute delight!! Also, Sorry for changing from ‘you’ to she/her ;v; it’s a lot easier for me to write/edit this way.

Sukuna had a lazy grin as he lounged back into a modern cream sofa. His arm stretched across the back of it, ankle crossed over his knee. Eyes staggered from the two cameras set up to the woman talking with some other chick. One held a small stack of papers, the other was grandly gesturing. He breathed out a short-stop breath, wishing they wouldn’t waste his time with bickering. Annoying as it was, it left a thick self-satisfactory lather over his ego.

“-didn’t you say the band?”

“Yeah, but this is better.”

Quite frankly, he hated most press and avoided it, so to just have him in the hot seat was a double-edged blade. They didn’t get the whole band, but they did have The King himself. Whatever publicity he thrived off of were live shows, signings, fancams, tangible and real-time events. Interviews were a complete and utter waste of his time. He did a couple in the beginning, but found them pointless, callous even. They all asked the same shit. So, him coming alone was absolutely a note to pin to the fridge, even if it were a passive-aggressive post-it note.

His head turned to the two going back and forth. It wasn’t until the third minute ticked by that Sukuna felt the flashpoint of his blood plummet, “Yo! We doing this or what? You’re wasting my time here, Eros.”

The blogger whipped her head to the man with an indignant, “Excuse me?”

“Eros. Known for being reckless and unreliable? Like your scheduling.” He leaned forward, elbow on knee and chin in palm. The aura of shit-eatery exponentially growing, “You’re not excused, sorry, not sorry Princess.”

“I think you have the wrong God,” She quipped as she dusted off the front of her outfit. It was a smart look and an intentional one for an interview with a punk rocker. What would strike the best complement than a khaki academic outfit? It consisted of a white high collared button up, sleeves billowing before cinching at her wrists. The blouse was stuffed into high-waisted, cuffed khaki chinos, pleated at the center of each pant leg. Over top, a gray woolen sweater vest. Accessories included various silver rings, a black ribbon to tie under the folded collar, and small silver studs as earrings. Makeup remained that done-up natural with brow, liner, and mascara. Hair had been swept into something similar to a faux 1920’s bob, pulled loosely back. The overall silhouette made the perfect contrast.

Sukuna wanted to peg her as your average superficial fashion bitch, he really did. Even at the concert, she dressed smartly despite the pathetic look on she wore on face. It wasn’t until afterwards when he saw the burn in her eyes, that he craved for her to prove him wrong.

Black flats clacked as she approached her own seat, a matching armchair to the couch. She held a certain command once she walked in, instructing him on where to be, which camera to look at, and what the introduction would be. He listened, admiring how her small frame moved to and fro, fixing up last minute edits on a paper, chattering with who he assumed to be a videographer. It was a whole production. One that was hers. The set itself was practically out of a home décor magazine. It was a general space used across the publisher, but she was born to be there. Deserved to be there. Her calculated glee and deliberate positioning of each member made him feel as though he were looking through a mirror.

The interview process began.

She sat professionally, legs crossed and leaning on the arm of her chair closest to Sukuna. He was unmoving, that slit to his lip curling upwards as the cameras began. She introduced the blog, the channel, her social media handles. With a smile, she introduced herself, “With me in this special is lead singer of Two Face, the King of Curses – Sukuna.”

The camera panned to his lazy wave, “Yo.” He looked to her, she looked to him and for a moment she thought she saw a flicker of interest. Maybe the man was meant for cameras after all.

“After looking more into the punk scene, there’s a pretty interesting history behind it. Revolution, social discourse, poverty, violence, and unity. As someone in the scene, can you talk a little bit about what you know of the background?”

Sukuna drank in her voice, smooth and warm like the steady strum of a bass guitar. For a moment, he wondered if she sang. He quirked a brow, “Sounds like you didn’t research enough to summarize it yourself,” Eyes flickered to her features, watching as slight annoyance crinkled onto her nose then smoothed, “Let me learn you, Daisy. Starting back from rock in the 50’s, take that, strip it, build it with shit you find in the backyard…” His wrist rolled as his harmonious voice sang on, lacking even a single stutter as he summarized the movement top to bottom, inside and out, “…So, people would make their own records, sell them in plastic bags, they’d scan and reprint photos to make their own ‘zines. Shit was hard to distribute without tech…”

Much of his dissertation, she hadn’t even found on her own deep dive into the culture. Sure, the anarchist and nihilistic ideologies were well known to pretty much anyone who would listen, but the deep history and connection between communities was far beyond the surface scratched into.

“There’s a crowd of sub-genres now. Fuck ‘punk is dead’ what even is that bull shit?” Sukuna scoffed, jerking his chiseled chin to the side, “Only thing that’s dead here is – ironically – peoples drive to change.”

His interviewer sat in silence for a moment, mind spinning. He spoke in the way a well-educated University professor gave a dissertation to his peers, dripping in confidence from his storm of information. He was articulate despite the fowl language, even including a tie in to modern perception. Excitement curled into the recess of her mind. In a delightful turn of events, expectation and reality didn’t match up.

She leaned forward slightly folding her hands over the arm of the chair, “That was comprehensive. Thanks!” She chuckled, causing the man before her to freeze and thaw with a nod. She continued, “With all of this mention of D.I.Y. culture in punk, let’s talk about Vivienne Westwood.”

Sukuna kept his attention to her profile as she spoke to the camera, catching himself in the glow of her enthusiasm, “On Kings Road in England, she kickstarted the fashion movement into gear. Now, many would think that with a style such as this, it would’ve been hand-me-downs, pins, self-stitching, but contrary to this belief, many of the clothes in her store were expensive. Knock offs circulated, and seeing as much of it did have that hand-done finishing touch, many decided to take tailoring to their own hands…” Not that this was a competition, but she found herself trying to prove his ‘research’ comment wrong. Her ability to scour and exhaust her resources of fashion history is the furnace that kept her going and she would make it well known that she was not to be challenged.

The approaching lurch of a stalemate stuck to the walls of the vocalist’s stomach. Something he didn’t think he’d feel for a while. Small stuff over here may not’ve known all there was about the cultural history, but he could feel the crashing wave of fascination washing over him as she spoke. Sure, some of it he knew. Some of it he naturally garnered from stylistic preference and others he learned for marketing, however there was just a certain target she aimed for with such precision that he bled a newfound admiration.

“You’ve answered it already, yeah, I know. I saw the interview,” Her head tilted to the side, pleasant smile hinting at her trick, “but enlighten me for a second about how your natural style transitioned to what it is on stage. We’ll put up some of the photos taken from last night here,” her hand gestured to some empty space, “You basically turned chiaroscuro and made it a performance. It’s obvious in how each member contrasted with themselves and the stage.”

The chick didn’t even know who he was a week ago, yet somehow watched every interview since the start? An answer tumbled from the tongue readily, “Punk is like a renaissance of music. Like I said before, it tore down the foundations of what was before and built something new out of it.” The words were succinct, but as her pretty lashes bat, he was goaded into continuing, “Contrast is important. I like art. I like plays. Just ‘cause it’s punk doesn’t mean I can’t have it look aesthetic? Or is that a word only snobby fashion journalists can use now?”

“Hm. Change ‘journalist’ to ‘vocalist’ and you’re a word away from meeting the requirement,” It was a sour candy treat traded for his lemon warhead.

“Ouch. Miss Blog-Spot here has some sass,” His large frame leaned further into the armrest, cheek resting on that fist.

“Mister Eight-Track here is some a–“

The videographer clapped his hands, “We have sponsors, you know. We can at least censor him.”

It was Sukuna’s time to laugh a loud, hyena-like cackle. A large hand smacked his leather-clad knee. She scrunched her nose again, biting back her tongue from childishly jutting out at him.

As soon as the videographer clapped his hands again, she recollected herself, shuffled her papers, and continued on, “From what it looks like, you took a mixture of old and new high-trend brands and added a touch to them to keep with theme. Even now, you’re wearing a Real McCoy with cone spikes embedded. Is that custom made? McCoy isn’t cheap.”

Part of him hated her keen eye, but reveled in her raw talent all the same. “I’m not going to bull shit you and say I dumpster dive for my clothes. I like high quality things. What’s the point in making money if I can’t spend it? What’s a bigger ‘fuck you’ than having your version of a top-brand item being worth more than the original?” With a proud glint in his eye, he rolled the jacket off, sure to make a grand display of strong, bare arms as he did so. The muscle tank he wore was similar to the concert before, white with a pocket, neckline was stretched and worn. It hung over the dense muscle of his shoulders and chest. Sukuna could feel the trail of her eyes on him. His chest puffed from her approval. He threw the jacket over his knee, flipping the leather inside out to show where the studs had been placed, “See this? Did it myself.”

Manicured fingers touched the inside of the jacket, thumbing the connecting points that the studs were pressed in by and sealed. The work was immaculate. Sukuna leaned back, canines gleaming as he saw her mouth move in a silent ‘wow’. He picked the front of his tank top, snapping it up and allowing it to billow back to his body, “Embroidered this, too.”

He waited for her comment, her praise. Why? Like he needed some two-bit Vanderbilt bitch’s validation. He chalked it up to being praised by a master of the craft. He hadn’t been prepared for her to take the fabric between her fingers and rub it, concentrated brows cinched like a corset. Well-toned abs flinched in response to her delicacy, but she didn’t notice.

The embroidery was messy and chaotic, but it was obviously intentionally. The way the needlework was so clean, barely leaving a hole from the pull of the exceptionally soft fabric. It wasn’t floral like in the concert, but abstract stitching created crosses and streaks here and there, using the composition of the fabric as like it were a canvas. Experimentalist. It was like touching the work of Westwood herself.

God, she hated how perfect it was. It squeezed her heart to know that he was so effortlessly multi-talented. She rubbed the fabric between her fingers once more, attention being stolen by his baritone voice. She could practically hear the treble in it, “Ey Princess, you think it’s okay to just touch me?” His breath caught under the arrogant teasing of his words. Not from the words themselves. Couldn’t care less about that. What choked him up was whatever resplendent emotion flared from them when she peered up to him.

“Let me check the tag.”

“What?”

The blogger leaned back, cheekily snapping the shirt as she did so. “Your shirt, can I check the tag? I want to see what its made out of. Also, sorry.”

Sukuna blinked twice, mouth stupidly hanging open before he leaned forward, “I’ll allow it.”

He may have tinnitus, but he wasn’t deaf enough yet to miss the mocking ‘I’ll allow it,’ muttered under her breath. He wanted to laugh, but for the second time, the graze of chilled fingertips along his skin shut him up. Along the back of his neck, she fiddled to flip the collar and tug it. Her eyes squinted and a hum escaped her throat. Sometimes she wished she could read upside down. That’s when she sat on the back on the sofa and leaned closer, pulling the shirt to better read the small print. If Sukuna were a cat, he’d lean his head into her. The thought physically bothered him.

“I knew it. It’s American Pima. Thanks for letting me check.”

He missed the shiver her touch gave him as she sat back into her chair.

“While I have more questions for you, this video’s gotten pretty long already, so we’ll have to cut it a bit short here,” She gave a closing statement, motioning for her guest to do the same. With a thanks, the cameras were cut.

While the editor and videographer chatted together, She leaned heavily into the back of her chair, poised posture slipping into something more comfortable. Long lashes slid closed and a heavy drag of breath lifted her chest. Sukuna’s eyes trailed along her form, contemplating Eros once more.

She exhaled sharply, “I do appreciate you coming on stage. It’s disgusting how talented you are.” She laughed, cracking an eye open to meet his, “I prepped a lot of questions thinking you’d be short with me. It’s a shame I only got to ask a few.”

He was surprised himself. It was more than just her talent to make him talk - she may have been the first to see him as an opportunity rather than a commodity. ‘She would be the first and last reporter to see me as a meal’ was the thought he had going into this interview. He had every single intention to shut down her buffet, make it apparent that he was not to be dined on by a single soul. Yet, if his dish were ‘opportunity’, hers would be ‘intrigue’. He wanted to devour it, to know its palette and identify its spices. It was a compulsory urge to order, just to see why he craved it in the first place.

“Film the next few concerts. Backstage.”

1.Vic3mage "the secret bjdivaz vip group is just pictures of boxes coming in and going out". Yeah, between the bitching about d0llshe, asking people to post on doa for them, dunking on ex-customers, posting pics of random doll parts that they can't identify which doll they're supposed to go with, whining about how little money they make, whining when ppl e-mail them, whining. 5. RE: BJD Divaz

I’ve been a customer of BJD Divaz since they first started, when it was only run by Chart3rline. I even contacted other BJD companies trying to persuade them to work with Divaz as their US representative. Most declined because they didnt like D's commission fee, but I was able to persuade a few of them.

I asked them to purchase a doll off DOA because I couldnt afford the asking price, and while they did, I found out later that instead of agreeing to purchase the seller's price, they negotiated the price to be lower. This significantly cheaper price was not passed down to me. I paid the full price +the commission fee based on that full price. I am disappointed I was not told this. This is when I stopped viewing them as a "friend" and instead, as a business. I dont hold this against them, it’s context to what Im going to say later.

I’ve stopped purchasing from D after my recent order from them. This company usually takes 3 or less months to make a doll. I’ve ordered the doll from D and it took 11 months. They let me know it arrived to them in March and that it will be shipped soon, except it only shipped on July, and only after I sent them several "reminder" emails. Before people in the comments try to put the blame on me for not sending a reminder soon, please keep in mind that I acknowledged the email in March and confirmed everything and they keep stressing to not send them emails because they are busy, I’ve emailed once every month since. I’ve since switched to ACBJD and Ive been happy with communication and the dolls ordered. I imagine ACBJD gets the same amount of emails, but they dont berate their customers if they email more than once.

I regret when people wanted a D0llshe, but not deal with him, I always recommended D. I would warn people of ordering directly and instead go through D. They assured buyers they would be handling communication and all the efforts so they wouldnt worry, except they didn’t. A person that I’ve recommended D to, who surpassed 2 years, keeps messaging me for help because D wouldnt reply to their emails. She is respectful, sweet and a timid person, not a Karen. This person, emailed D without a reply so would email a week later, only to be told that their email would be pushed down to the bottom if emailed again. No response, so she goes to FB and IG, who both tell her to email because they arent the person running orders. Finally got a response that they would get their refund, after D0llshe sends D's payment, but minus the PP fees. 3 months later and theres no refund, only a promise of them getting it later. Why is the customer missing out on fees when they have no doll? Customer emails d0llshe and he says he cant offer refund, because they didn’t order through them, which is understandable, but when all options are out for a customer, do you blame them for chargebacks?

If anyone files a chargeback, D will be blacklisting them from every company they rep, as in blacklisting you from buying direct from those companies. I urge everyone who has negative experiences with D to email the companies they rep instead of venting on confession blogs, and writing your experiences on social media. Make it count and send letters to the companies they represent, and please provide proof because they will try to make you out to be a liar.

Speaking of, they made vague posts on cl0ver singing for charging paypal fees, and that they offer guarantees as an official dealer, except when offering refunds, to non delivered products I might add, they are keeping the fees, and offered no help with d0llshe, even before they ended their dealership with them. Someone on DOA was told to not email them unless the wait time surpassed 1.5 years. They are even so petty that they post screenshots with the full name and address (dox) of the customer on purpose and then delete it out a day later as if they just realized their "mistake".

Before you try to make excuses for them about the fires, keep in mind, I am dealing with a business. The lower price negotiation with the DOA sale, I am in no way obligated to give them a pass or treat them as a friend when they made it clear that our relationship is strictly business. Their issues, are not my issues. D0lk got dragged for not shipping in time, others, including artisans, got dragged for being so late with communication and sending back refunds for cancelled orders. Why does D get to be exempt?

The supporters are the worst part of this, because of instead of being honest so D can improve, they support them for being "real". For example, look how micemage words it, to make it seem like this criticism is from one person, when there are people on addicts who didn’t have good experience. Check the bjd dealers tag here, you will see the supporters in the comments going off on any and all criticism of D. Some have sane comments, but the majority are cult like and try to identify the person venting as if it’s one person. Addicts deletes threads with criticism asking people to instead direct it to their feedback group; which lets be honest, no one is going to do because its "not that bad", and most dont want to join a new group, which is mostly dead.

This is my first and last confession on D, I’ve emailed each company they rep and told them my experience as well as contacting the 3 month wait company, with screenshots of my order, how they handled it, and the excuse they used to put blame on the company for being so late (package arrived march to D, 4 months to be shipped is on D, not the company). I’m not using company or order details because I know they are petty enough to try to identify me and publicly shame me like they have to others. This and the threat of suing is why not many people like to go public with their experience. They just keep feedback neutral, move on and never deal with again.

6. Listen, I can't take you seriously in regards to BJD!vas because you're posting on a confession blog. If you were serious, you would have posted in buyer beware groups, DoA reviews or the board to get things resolved, or you would have made a complaint to the BBB. And your language makes you come off more as someone with an agenda rather than someone who is trying to warn people. If shipping is the issue, stop buying with standard shipping and pay the extra price for express shipping. I saw one of you complain that it sat with them for 20 days; that's probably because you're not the only one and they more than likely have a queue to check and then ship out. Do mistakes happen? Yes, because we're human. I've been in this hobby for a few years now and it seems like most people know you're going to have to wait, sometimes even outside the expected wait time. And shipping something as big as a doll is a timely endeavor. I shouldn't have to say that.

My point is simply to stop complaining on an confession board and either take it to the places previously mentioned. Posting here behind the anonymous mask makes you sound like a petulant child who didn't get their way right away.

7.My only issue with BJD Divaz is how I never get any updates. Every email, they tell me to join their facebook page for status updates. I dont have a FB and I dont want to create one. I bought my doll through their website, updates should be posted on their website, or they could send me an email. That isnt asking much.

8. Since there seems to be a lot of either "completely negative everything sucks" or "everything was sunshine and rainbows" confessions about bjd!vaz I thought I'd chime in with a neutral review.

PROS

-They were always polite and professional in their emails, and gave me very detailed answers to my questions.

-I got exactly what I ordered, so no mix ups or missing parts or anything like that.

-I think them being forthcoming about personal issues (only one person on staff, illness, the flooding isue etc.) on social media is good, since it keeps customers updated as to why there might be delays.

-If you live in the US their shipping is very reasonable.

CONS

-Reply times were varied. Sometimes it could take over a week, sometimes a couple hours.

-My order took about 10mo which, when comparing to other people who ordered through the same company around the same time, was about 3x as long as if I bought it direct and 2x as long if I had gone through a different dealer. I get some of the waiting time is out of their control, but it was kind of ridiculous.

-They dont necessarily ship the same day they send you a tracking number. I wish they said something like, "Here's your tracking number, our pickup is Xday so it should start moving after that" just so I could be aware.

All in all no major complaints. I got my doll and all that. Their lone employee is clearly overwhelmed. I hope they hire another person, if only to give the one a break.

Truthfully, I most likely won't buy through them again. I'd rather pay the international shipping and go direct, than deal with the extensive wait time. I'd still recommend them to someone looking for a very long layaway, though. I paid in full, but if I had a 12mo layaway I would've never known they weren't ready to ship my doll until month 10.

Rn it's 96 lbs. I certainly could get there by the end of the year but knowing me I probably won't. A bitch can dream. A bitch can also undo a week's worth of progress in one day.

I tried veganism out a few years ago, but I'd never go back to it. I don't need stress dreams of accidentally eating meat or dairy products and binging. Fuck the cows tbh

I actually don't know. I have memories of trying to stop eating altogether and then binging on uncrustables from when I was younger, but I only really got into calorie counting like 2-3 years ago?

Idk the last time but my family gets it pretty often. I used to use it as an excuse to binge but once you learn the low cal options it isn't rlly scary anymore

I don't really go by any specific diets, I just try to stay under a specific amount of calories

Idk at this point. It varies too much depending on the brand so I just try shit on and don't pay attention to the size

I've tried, but I just. can't. I rarely ever vomit and honestly I think I'd rather fast it off than go through that. I wish I could just make myself do it but I keep removing my fingers once I gag

There's this cute two piece beach set I've had in my Amazon cart for so long that I'll finally be able to wear without hating myself. Hopefully lmao I may still be fat by then

Update on TTB’s obsession with me and a quick explainer of why I’m so... exhausted tonight.

It started with this dude (I originally wrote a different word but then I remembered what really gets under her skin) sending me the above email on Christmas Day. Now I don’t celebrate it but for why? Did she have nothing better to do? Literally nothing better to do than send me my government’s brochures from 2014 on Jesus’s birthday? Poor Jesus. That’s so disrespectful to him. And also it’s sad for her. Btw it’s actually a very helpful brochure it taught me two important things: 1) sexting is bad and 2) TTB is cyberbullying me. These were useful facts I guess. Don’t sext, kids. It’s bad. My government told me so it’s true. (It actually is true if you’re literal kids, again, read the brochure it’s v helpful). Thanks TTB for educating us this way! Now we know! KWEEN SHIT.

Having learned these two valuable pieces of information from the government brochure, and having imbibed, I - despite being confused as to why she chose to continue speaking in the third person - decided to respond. And what did I say? Well, I was recently aware of how bad sexting and cyberbullying are so I said:

Now let’s deal with the final claim first and then we’ll go back to how she plans on proving IN COURT that a Harry Potter reference on the internet is a legitimate death threat.

Publishing these emails is not breaching copyright. This falls under fair use. I am reporting on her, on this blog, because she is a menace and tbh a public figure (and also an anonymous entity like she’s not a person so her case is really tricky). She has no solid legal case against me. But, as my lawyer pointed out to me, if she does sue civilly she will go off anon and we look forward to going to court to discuss my Harry Potter references about an anonymous entity on Tumbles like that sounds iconic af and we’re now both looking forward to that. I’m sure a bunch of you nutcases will attend in the gallery for the sheer lulz that situation promises. It’ll be great.

I would also like to say I do not believe I am manipulating young people - I have never asked anything from young people except for asking for many many hot takes on Josh’s playlist from @agronshizzie. If that’s manipulation, sure, I guess I’m a manipulative bitch but that girl likes it. However, I have explicitly said I am not reporting her blog because it’s a lot of effort and don’t encourage anyone else to, and having said this in chats I’m now FORMALLY saying to anyone reading not to engage with her. She is dangerous and a proper bitch so I would advise to laugh, sure and mock, sure, but I wouldn’t advise engaging. If you choose to do anything that’s on you. And if you’re a minor you shouldn’t.

Finally I think it’s funny that even here she is bad at math. She says she sent me only one email but - prior to my response - I count two. The first one which I gave to @karliesbuzzcut to work her magic on and the second one which sits atop this post.

She’s right on one thing: I probably do need a healthier hobby but lowkey TTB it takes one to know one and I think you’re a cowboy like me because your hobby was literally making up wild ass shit about two blonde ladies and sending yourself riddles lol like mine is at least more diverse and interesting and not the cornerstone of my identity. Like if this blog gets taken from me I’m not going to respond by doxxing people I’ll just start being marginally more productive.

Study Tips for Chronically Ill Students

Most bloggers aren’t writing for the chronically ill audience. Typical tips, tricks and hacks on productivity, motivation and studying just don’t work for us. As a chronically ill student who’s in her last year of undergrad (yay!) I decided to share what I have learned over the (many) years.

1. Get comfortable. Seriously. Don’t force yourself to sit at your desk, or go out to a coffee shop to study. Most people will tell you not to lay in bed while you read your books but if you are anything like me, getting ready and driving to the library or Starbucks just takes too much energy. I recommend making yourself a nice set up with everything you need. If you can tolerate sitting at a desk don’t skimp out. Buy yourself a decent, ergonomic office or gaming chair. Make sure you have a drink, a snack, your medication, charges, books, and anything else you need within arms reach. The less you have to get up the more energy you are saving.

2. Take frequent breaks. Okay, this may sound contradictory to tip #1 but hear me out. Everyone person is different, every body is different, and every day is different. Some days your symptoms are just so bad you need to get comfortable and try not to move. But other days you might be fighting brain fog and mental exhaustion. So get up, or even just stop and sit for a minute to rest your mind. Some days I will stop every few sections and get up to do something small like apply a face mask, go back to studying, and then get up in 15 minutes to wash it off etc. Just find what works for you.

3. Write shit down. Write everything down. And write it in multiple places. Again, brain fog is such a bitch, but writing things down multiple times in multiple places will help you remember. I have a paper calendar that I write all my assignment due dates, doctors appointments, and other important things onto, but I also have an assignment check list with all of my upcoming assignments in my notebook. Also, I keep a huge running list titled Never Ending List of Shit To Do with boring chores and tasks that need to be done like doctors to call, bills to pay, letters to mail etc; and I use that list to pick and choose what I’m going to do each day and fill that out on a sticky note or another small insert that serves as my daily to do list.

4. Establish a routine. But don’t be discouraged if you can’t follow it to a T and don’t be afraid to change it up. My routine changes a lot because my symptoms and body are constantly changing too. Also, it’s important to note that a routine is not the same as a schedule. This is important for those of us with chronic illness because its just not feasible to assume we will be able to get up at the same time every day, eat lunch at the same time every day, and study for the same amount of time every day.

5. Stay (way) ahead of schedule. You never know what life is going to throw at you, especially when you are chronically ill. Unfortunately, we can’t plan our flares, but we can prepare for them. If you know you suffer from migraines that will knock you out of commission for 3 days then make sure you are always 3 days ahead of schedule. Something I highly recommend is doing a little bit every day, even if its only 20 minutes of reading. Of course, sometimes we need a break and that’s okay too! Self care is important!

6. Online classes are the best. So many people say online classes are hard because you have to be super disciplined, and that it’s easier to have the accountability to show up to class, but I highly disagree. Online classes give you the freedom to read when you want, listen to lectures when you want, sleep when you need to, and stay comfortable in bed when it would be impossible to get to class. I work solely online and if it weren’t for the option of online classes I would not be in college right now or anytime in the near future.

7. Audio is your friend. Honestly, this is a tip for everyone in high school or college out there. Sometimes we are too tired or in too much pain to stare at a book or screen, or sometimes we need to utilize our energy wisely and multitask by listening while we clean the house. And this isn’t limited to audio text books. There are so many YouTube videos, podcasts, documentaries and more that you can easily just pop on while you are resting or doing chores! I listen to my lectures while I do my nails every week.

8. Don’t rewrite your notes. Don’t write them at all if you can avoid it. Almost all of my professors supply chapter outlines or summaries that I can just print off and fill in extra notes on. If you do need to write your notes I suggest typing them, or only writing them out once, and only what is most important. Whatever you do, don’t rewrite them, and for the love of god do not waste your time trying to make them look like an Instagram photo. Ain’t nobody got spoons for that.

9. Try to balance your course load appropriately. If you are taking a full course load try to even out the number of upper division classes you take with some easy classes, as well as some boring and some interesting. Alternatively, don’t be afraid to drop classes and go down to part time, even if just for one semester. I have tried to stay full time all year round since I re-enrolled in school fall semester of 2017, but spring of 2019 my health took a drastic decline and I did drop down from 5 classes to 3. I also took summer of 2019 off to focus on my health and came back this semester (fall 2019) ready to rock and roll. Seriously, do not be afraid to drop classes. It felt like the end of the world when I did it, but it was absolutely the right choice for me. It saved my GPA and my sanity.

10. Talk to your professor. And your university, and your classmates, and your adviser, and anyone else around you who can offer resources and support. Every university and college has a Disability Services Coordinator Student Center available to request accommodations. The information to contact the center should be listed on your syllabus and the school website. They can help with everything and anything disability related. And if you feel comfortable you should really talk to your professor. Just give them a heads up and inform them of what’s going on. As for your classmates, its always good to connect and find a study buddy or someone you can borrow notes from whether you have a disability or not!

I really hope this list can help some fellow chronically ill students out there. This is what I have learned in my 5+ years of attending college with various chronic and mental illnesses. I truly live by everything I talked about in this post and I have been fairly successful in my academic career. Okay, so I LOVE TALKING SKINCARE. This is a huge topic for me and I often write up a blog post once a year where i recommend skin care products. So here is this year’s recommendation! An insanelyyyyy long and detailed post nobody asked for!! HERE WE GO:

I am a long time skincare advocate...before it really blew up and people started really getting to know more about their products and ingredients. I’ve just always had very acne-prone skin so I’ve had to pay attention to what products and ingredients I was using and how their formulas worked for me. As a result, over the years I tried A SHIT TON of products. Many expensive, fancy, high end, etc. But now I have my skincare routine down to a much more manageable and quality ingredient list. Obviously everyone’s skin is different...but this is what I use on a regular basis these days:

Serums:

- Krave Beauty’s Great Barrier Relief Serum: Honestly, this is THE SHIT. My favorite moisturizing serum to really help balance your skins hydration barrier and stay hydrated. It’s thicker and almost feels like a moisturizer. It’s so great. - The Ordinary’s Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Drops: Niacinamide is an amazing ingredient for your skin and can help a tremendous amount with clearing the skin, resurfacing, fading scars, and more. This really does a good job helping with my acne, so i really recommend to anyone. And I am pretty sure it’s like $5 cause it’s from the ordinary.

Moisturizers:

- CeraVe Moisturizing Cream: It’s a very cheap drug store moisturizer that has good, clean ingredients. After using fancy moisturizers for years, I finally gave into my dermatologist’s recommended lotion. LOL. They do have a lotion that is lighter, but my skin tends to be dryer, especially in the winter so I use the cream not the lotion. It’s thicker. (For high end junkies--it’s like comparing Drunk Elephant’s LaLa Retro to their Protini cream). I also sometimes throw in drops of a marula oil into this cream if I am really dry. Make myself a little face smoothie.

Eye/Lip Creams:

- Mario Badescu Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream: Now honestly, I still haven’t found my perfect eye cream yet...but I have used this one for a few years now. It moisturizes well and is cheap to buy. It’s probs not the most effective but at least I am moisturizing my eye area. One day I will take on more eye creams that target certain things, but that is one day when I have money to spend lmao. -Glossier Bubblewrap Lip/Eye Cream: This is a very unique moisturizing product that is meant for sensitive skin like your eye area and lips. It does say it plumps a bit, which I don’t ever feel a plumping effect, but I do love to use it on my lips. It’s so moisturizing and is kind of like using a primer before you apply chapstick or lipstick.

Exfoliators:

- Glossier Solution: The OG chemical exfoliant I tried and loved. These types of products aren’t great for everyone, and may have to be used less or more depending on skin type, but as an acne-prone human, I love a chemical exfoliant. This works and lasts a long while.

- Krave Beauty’s Kale-Lalu_AHA: Another chemical exfoliant. I recently tried this one because I do believe Krave Beauty uses better ingredients than Glossier Skin typically does (no shade tho). They were close in price, so I made the switch and have enjoyed the results so far. The packaging is also beautiful.

- Dr. Brant Microdermabrasion Exfoliant: This is NOT a chemical peel, this has aluminum oxyde crystals in it to polish the skin like a normal exfoliant would. It also has a lot of ingredients that help renew and refresh the skin while exfoliating. Now this product is HELLA expensive...I only have it because I once bought it for way cheaper when I had a subscription box. I don’t know if I would spend the full $80 bucks on it, but your skin does feel smooth.

- Tatcha The Deep Polish: This is an enzyme powder that you mix with water and exfoliate fro there. It is from when I used to buy the highest end products in hopes it would help my skin. It is pricey, but again does leave your skin feeling soft. So I rotate it in from time to time.

Masks:

- The Ordinary’s AHA 30% BHA 2% Peeling Solution: AKA THE BLOOD MASK. Now hugely popular on social media, the “blood mask” is a chemical mask that peels off dead skin and essentially works to eliminate the top layers of your skin and begin rejuvenating a fresher layer for softer, healthier, plumper skin. I do this once a week and it is way cheap. I can compare it to Drunk Elephant’s Sukari Babyfacial and it definitely beats that expensive version.

- Glow Recipe’s Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask: This is an overnight moisturizing mask that you simply wash off in the morning. It really helps lock in moisture and feels nice on the skin. I use this when I am feeling really dry.

- Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask: This one you have to mix the dry clay mixture with water and apple cider vinegar to create a goo that you can then let dry on your face. It may be intense for some, but I find it really helps dry out my acne spots and reduce redness in my skin. It’s always a fun one to do with other people too because you do have to prepare it. Good sleepover activity.

- GlamGlow Bubble Sheet Mask: This one is honestly more so used for when I am traveling and want to keep a mask on hand or when I am having a fun girls night or something. It’s a bubble mask--so to me that just means fun. I typically avoid sheet masks (unless I am traveling) because I think you end up throwing a way a lot of product you are paying for. But this one is fun, it’s cute, it’s different. I don’t notice a huge change in my skin tbh, but it is a fun activity for girls night.

Honorable Mention/Random Products:

- Youth to the People’s Kale and Green Tea Superfood Cleanser: I stayed away from this one for a long time because it’s expensive and I could rationalize buying such an expensive cleanser, but I got a gift card to Sephora and finally decided to try it. And ya know what?? I guess I am fancy now because I really love it. It does not overly strip your skin at all, and for the first time in my life I really know what that means. It’s so great, it smells so good. Ugh. Can’t get enough of this bougie bitch of a face wash.

- The Inkey List Retinol Cream: A recent purchase, but I have enjoyed seeing the results. Everyone imo should be using an eye cream and a retinol. This is a nice introduction to retinol, so I recommend to those looking for one.

- Glossier Mint Balm Dot Com Chapstick: THIS AGAIN--IS THE SHIT. Many will say they would never spend more than two bucks but one tube of their’s is seven bucks and it is WORTH IT. I buy the three pack once a year and i’m good. This is the best chapstick you will literally ever use. Fucking buy it. If I could tell you only three products that are a must from this list this would be one of them. (the other two would be great barrier relief and the kale cleanser)

- Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I like this lip mask, it’s not needed everynight, but I do like to use a lip exfoliant (made or buy one, whatever) and then use this to really retextures my lips.

- Bag Balm: Now this is a very unusual product to recommend lmaooo. Originally, bag balm is used for chapped cow udders on farms--which is how I discovered it. Farmers eventually noticed that it helped your skin retain moisture and repair cracked skin in their hands. So now it is known as a good thick ass cream for hands and feet. Now this shit is again--used on cows originally, so the formula feels thick and greasy. I like putting it on at night and letting it soak in for a while as I lay on my phone. It really works--I swear to you.

- Sagely CBD Cream: I use their relief and recovery crea which smells like lavender and has a cooling effect when applied to the skin (kinda like biofreeze or icyhot would). This is only a 50mg CBD lotion, but I do like it.

- Mad Ritual CBD Muscle Recovery Balm: Now this is thick and definitely a balm, not a cream. It is much higher strength though, so I break it out when needed and a little goes a long way. This one is 200mg of CBD.

- Mario Badescu Drying Lotion: This drying lotion is now so popular but has been a staple of mine for at least a decade now. You leave it on over night and it really does dry up and reduce zit size. Helps a lot. There must be a reason why super models are told to use this shit before a runway show.

- Tatcha The Essence: Essences are a new and kind of weird thing, kinda like priming the skin to allow for better absorption of a product. Now this product I received as a Christmas gift one year, but I am pretty sure it’s like $100...breaking the bank as always, tatcha. Anyway, it does allow for better absorption of products and feels light and refreshing on the skin. One bottle has lasted me two years now. I don’t know if I would recommend it, but I do use it somewhat regularly and it does make you feel like a bougie bitch.

Now I’m by no means well acquainted to all the different popular socials media, but here’s my humble take:

Reborn on Instagram.

He only has pictures of Leon first and foremost, with him in the background in one of his ridiculous but very well-made cosplay. Leon of course also wears the same cosplay as him.

He never shows his full face in any of the pictures, but just enough his followers know he’s handsome as fuck.

The artists/photoshoppers among them regularly put the pieces together to see how he could look like, but in a funny-and-obviously-purposefully-wrong way only.

Reborn loves them and saves them all.

Once in a blue moon he does post a picture of himself where you can see him clearly all dressed up and fancy, and then immediately deletes it.

But only after he’s sure it has been seen, so he can watch his followers lose their shit while drinking a nice espresso.

They try hard, but so far none of them managed to save any of the pictures before he deletes them.

Often there’s what suspiciously looks like blood stains on their clothes and straight up dead bodies lying in the background, but Reborn went so passive-aggressive with the few who dared to ask, everyone is too afraid to ask now.

Anyone who badmouths Leon in any way is instantly blocked. But only after Reborn ripped them a new one AND let his followers do it too.
