bitches be like "he's my comfort character, I love him, his awesome, uwu" and so on, and then will show you a morally grey character who has committed thousands of crimes, is probably cynical and would stab you at any given chance.
Hi, I'm bitches :3

I went to Barter Books in Alnwick today on the last day of my holiday. Awesome book shop, purchased myself a very early birthday present-a signed copy of Armada by Ernest Cline.
I got an L Ron Hubbard book out of sheer curiosity and a Tad Williams because I really enjoyed his Otherland series.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the absolute masterpiece that is the Dune 2021 soundtrack?? Like there is a scene when they land on Arrakis where you see the full might of House Atreides and there is this epic triumphant music playing, and then during the Harkonnen attack when they are being absolutely destroyed, there’s this moment when Gurney attacks and kills these Harkonnen soldiers and turns back to his men with a smile on his face and says: ‘With me.’ And as they charge into a battle they are doomed to lose, just for a few seconds, you hear that valiant, epic House Atreides music playing once again before it gets swallowed up. THAT is combining visual and musical storytelling to their truest potential. Absolutely stunning, I definitely just listen to the soundtrack on its own sometimes. Definitely good mood music if you’re working on an epic sci-fi scene in writing.

The magical activities of Britain have always been highly organized. Anoyone who doubts this should consider the Spanish Armada and the winds that so conveniently dissipated it – and perhaps further consider why even the most skeptical of historians accepts this convenient hurricane so calmly, as a perfectly natural occurrence. Or the doubter might also consider why Hitler, or Napoleon before him, never got around to invading Britain, and why we accept these facts, too, so easily.
A moment's unclouded thought should persuade anyone that these things are too good to be true. But of course, no one's thought is unclouded, for the very good reason that the organization has, for centuries, developed itself to clouding it and making sure that most people perceive its activities as messy, futile, and mainly concerned with old ladies astride broomsticks.

'Rio Bravo' Movie and 4K Review
The following review was written by Ultimate Rabbit correspondent, Tony Farinella. When you think of the western genre in cinema, it’s hard not to think of John Wayne.  Perhaps the only other actor who might be synonymous with westerns is Clint Eastwood, but he would frequently venture into other genres to expand his repertoire. For the most part, John Wayne lived and breathed westerns. When you…

‘Queen Elizabeth I: Life and Legacy of the Virgin Queen’ by Paul Kendall
‘Queen Elizabeth I: Life and Legacy of the Virgin Queen’ by Paul Kendall
Thanks to Pen & Sword for a copy of this book to review. I’ve previously read Paul Kendall’s book ‘Henry VIII in 100 Objects’ which I really enjoyed. Both that one of this goes through 100 different places and objects from the life of each of the monarchs. This book on Elizabeth I covers books, tombs, palaces, statues, paintings, and engravings. Her reign is often seen as a Golden Age, and this…

Comic Report: Transformers Armada UK comic
A Clutter Report Comic Report reworking an old BW article about the Transformers Armada UK comic
The project for this week hit some snags and I don’t have time to do a full article going over those snags. A plan for next time perhaps or maybe I’ll just move on to something worthwhile. So to make up the time I’ve reworked an old article from my other site for the more casual crowd I expect comes to this site versus that one.. For those of you who don’t read that site or haven’t seen me…

Armada, by Jim Eldridge. The character Thomas Hobbs is of no relation to the philosopher Thomas Hobbes. They probably should have considered that because the typo does appear once, though I attribute that error to Scholastic and not to Eldridge.
There’s a subplot involving the antagonist that escalates unnecessarily, and gets resolved at an awkward point in the story.
