It’s Asexual Awareness Week/Ace Week, so I’d like to share this piece from my backlog.
I’ve been wearing a black ring on my right middle finger since I was ~9 years old.
Back then, I had no reason, but now I do—this is sometimes an identifying symbol in the Ace Community. 💜🖤🤍
I originally made this in April for International Asexuality Day, but couldn’t quite finish it in time.
If you’re curious in hearing more about that story or the ring, I’ve got a full description over on my DeviantArt: https://www.deviantart.com/mysticsparklewings/art/Showing-My-Hand-913608076

A customer reached out recently to request for aegosexual pride kitties sticker.
To be honest, I had wanted to create a aegosexual pride cats design 3 years ago.
it was challenging because the overall shape of the kitty stack is too thin and long for the pattern of the flag.
I did it with bats instead. 🦇
Not perfect but I was able to make use of their wings and the relative size of their heads to show a subtle inverted triangle without looking too forced or weird.
The customer was happy to have the bats instead. And I am happy that she's happy. 😊
@rats-inyourtrashbin And I are cringe and make jokes about relating to Ink and Error, so we drew them with our flags for the hell of it (Error's are just a little less noticeable. His are pins on his jacket;;)
And then the second drawing has the annual redraw we post every year ✌
Happy Asexual Awareness Week love you all 💞💞💞

Happy National (and World) Coming Out Day from Ace Los Angeles! 💜
"National Coming Out Day is an annual celebration which takes place on 11 October every year. It was first celebrated on the one-year anniversary of the 1987 National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights – a date chosen to honour the bravery of LGBTQ+ individuals who decide to come out and live openly. Although it started off as an American awareness day, the meaning of National Coming Out Day is still highly relevant to LGBTQ+ communities across the world today.
Coming out is a unique experience for each LGBTQ+ person. It’s not a one-time event; many LGBTQ+ individuals who come out to their closest friends and family may later come out at work or school, to their extended family, or to casual acquaintances." - stonewall.org.uk
Asexual Awareness Week also known as ACE Week, is an international campaign that seeks to educate about asexual, aromantic, demisexual, and grey-asexual experiences.
