Rebels Rewatch: "Homecoming"

Hera's daddy issues, and lots of fanservice for TCW fans.

Oh hey, one of my husband's favorite episodes!

Three guesses as to why.

Yep it's because of the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier.

Anyway, the need for such a thing is demonstrated right with this opening scene, with an ill-fated A-wing getting blown up as it tries to dock.

The A-wings get a raw deal in this show, seems like any time they need a fighter to blow up they do an A-wing.

You know by now Hera's started to get to know the pilots under her command, so every loss is a little bit more personal now.

Kanan being silently supportive as Hera goes to call home.

Cham appears and cue TCW fans freaking out.

Not sure why we forwent the fanfare this episode, I don't think the circumstances are quite serious enough for it.

Kanan acting all cutely nervous to be meeting Hera's father kjhkjds.

And him getting everyone's names wrong lol, look at their faces. They're all just like, "Dad. Dad, that's not my name."

Numa introduced and though I have only seen the episode where she appears once I understand TCW fandom's base instinct to sob uncontrollably at how big she's gotten.

Cham being all, "NO I won't let you have this carrier I have to BLOW IT UP as a SYMBOL of RYLOTH RESISTANCE!" is absolutely annoying, Sato and Hera are saints for putting up with it.

I love the immediate cut to Ezra helping Hera tune Chopper up, implying he did his whole "follow you out of concern" routine and got invited to stay. :)

This is becoming a familiar sight isn't it? Ezra's role as heart of the team, peacemaker, counselor, and "bridge" is particularly emphasized this season. Not surprising, we collect most of our finale-important assets and allies this season.

Hngh that vulnerable little, "More important than family?" Fandom sometimes like to portray Mira and Ephraim as workaholics who had no time for Ezra between their broadcasts and resistance but this little line here, that Ezra would be so quietly horrified at the idea of rebellion being more important than one's own family, suggests otherwise.

Also! "Well, there's nothing more important to me." Throw that shade baby boy, love you for it.

Hhhmgngnll shut uuuuuuuuup Cham. When Ezra was preoccupied with concern over his homeworld he wasn't nearly so obnoxious. And, you know, actually accepted that other people and other worlds need help too.

Hera slipping back into her Rylothi accent when talking to her father. <3

Kanan implying his grandmaster Mace Windu talked to him about Clone Wars adventures. <3

Hera's absolutely sour sulk face. XD

This whole scene really, Gobi teasing Hera about "your Jedi", Kanan gushing about Cham, Hera cutting her father off with the doors twice.

It has all the vibes of "surly adult daughter reluctantly visiting estranged home to show off the grandkids and being annoyed that husband and dad get along so well".

Kanan's fake accent here is kind of amazing.

Hera's devotion to authenticity dislodges and reveals the supply of grenades in Numa's sack. Honestly, Cham reminds me a little bit of Saw with how obsessive he is about his own personal cause. He and Saw are both fighting for a good reason, true, but their attachments--Cham to Ryloth's freedom in particular, Saw to being right about the Death Star stopping the Empire from inflicting more loss at all costs--have blinded them, made them single-minded and selfish, hostile to others and uncaring about their plight.

Ezra, on the other hand, though he's always very worried for his world, his people, still is able to put them aside in order to do things for the wider cause, still able to access his compassion for people outside of his immediate circle.

(This would take a brief backslide in Season 3 after Malachor but come back with internal character development at the beginning of Season 4.)

Lol I knew as soon as that mouse droid got trapped that it would be used later.

And I love this moment where they throw each other forward, it's so awesome. Been a while since we've heard the Main Titles theme used to denote heroism too.

Ezra bouncing excitedly once he pulls off the Mind Trick, like Kanan knew he could aww.

Hera's double-take lol.

"I must destroy this ship for Ryloth!" Oh take a chill pill.

This is another case of, "Wow, that's a fast turnaround." but it's way less egregious than Ketsu's turn, since there are multiple other voices chiming in in support of Hera after her speech and all Cham does is take a step back and let Hera have the floor, he doesn't actually help until later.

Sounds like a muted version of the TIE Fighter Attack track here.

Right, so, this moment is touching and all but pulling harder on the yoke wouldn't actually do anything, this is orbit not atmosphere.

Imperial theme here, and then a snippet of "Shenanigans".

Ezra has an idea! Bet Sabine loves it because it involves blowing stuff up lol.

Love the teamwork here with this moment.

Eyyyyy everyone wins! The Rebels get the carrier, Cham gets his symbolic firey ship explosion of justice, way to go Ezra, that was a good idea, nice "bridging".

An almost Stargate-esque cue here (no surprise, Kiner worked on Stargate SG-1) which... it's not Hera's theme I don't think, at least I can't find another occurrence in "Wings of the Master". Cham's maybe? It definitely sounds like a leitmotif.

Aaaaaand a nice moneyshot of our spacefamily.

Another quality Hera-focused episode, expanding on her backstory without contradicting what we already knew. (Which I've already talked about was a bit of a problem with Sabine and "Blood Sisters".) Hera doesn't really develop much but then, again, she never really needed to. Still nice to see her reconcile with her father.

Another variation on the Friendship Fetch Quest--though Cham reappears later he's not a crucial asset to the finale like the other allies we gain this season, and once more the most important gain this episode is a ship. That Quasar carrier is going become a familiar marker and staple of the Phoenix Cell and we're going to get very used to seeing it in establishing shots... which makes the great big hero moment in "Zero Hour" it gets hurt a LOT more.

Honestly it's worth watching just for how seamlessly synchronized Kanan and Ezra are getting in combat. :)

-Haha mf already knows how this is going to end

-He warned you, he really did

-The horror movies DevilDom has to offer are nothing, and I mean nothing, like the ones from the human world

-I’m not going to go into detail but imagine Two Girls One Cup, in a less kinky and more gorey way (then times that by 10)

-But you were adamant into giving it a go and he literally could not deny you in that moment

-Because you were giving him the puppy eyes

-That’s like, the finishing blow you use every time to get your way with him and as far as you know it’s the only one that works so-

-He expected your reaction to the last second

-You were traumatised for lack of a better word and you were basically watching the whole film through the cracks between your fingers

-Seeing you in that state was like a punch in the gut but he couldn’t stop himself from throwing in a subtle ‘I told you so’

-“I told you watching something like this before bed is a bad idea, MC.”

-He might be a bit condescending and judgemental at first, but he’s probably going to baby you a bit for the rest of the night

-Because he feels bad he allowed you to watch it in the first place

-HAHAHAHA SOFT LUCIFER HAS BEEN SUMMONED, USE HIM WISELY

-He will start muttering words of comfort to you later because he’s certain you’re going to have trouble sleeping

-Because of that one time, he’s very hesitant to let you watch another horror film anytime soon

-But he will relent eventually (especially if you want to watch a human horror film as those are technically less extreme)

-If it makes you happy, he will go through with it, even if he has to let you cling onto him for the rest of the day

-Besides, the way you cuddle into him while you’re watching a horror film is very cute and endearing to him

Mammon:

-Ah yes, the most effective method of waking up the entire House of Lamentation at 3:00 am

-Mammon screaming his own vocal cords out in his room as he tries to get through his human’s favourite horror movie without dying of a heart attack

-It was his idea because he’s definitely the type to go: “Yeah let’s do this, it will be fun. Don’t get too scared alright MC? The Great Mammon will be here to protect ya.”

-And then ten minutes in, he’s basically in your lap

-Half an hour in, he turned himself into a demon burrito with his blankets

-You were enjoying the movie, laughing at the stupid sound effects and poor quality while Mammon next to you has wrapped himself in like two dozen blankets and pillows

-“Mammon you’re going to overheat.”

-“Don’t be silly human, I’m a demon who lives in hell. I can take high temperatures the same way I can take this damn movie!”

-He doesn’t take either of them well

-Mammon and the horror genre don’t mix well together to begin with

-So even if you might enjoy horror, he doesn’t react well to it at all

-And he’ll be low-key relieved if you tell him you guys don’t have to watch any sort of horror film for your date night

-“Well I guess if you don’t want to, then we don’t have to. Can’t make my human do something they’re uncomfortable with eh?”

-But if you do watch a scary movie with him, be sure to show any sort of physical affection to him as often as possible

-You don’t have to say anything, just hold his hand or let him put his head in your lap or something

-It might stop him from screeching like a female sloth in heat

-The last time that happened, his brothers weren’t too pleased with him

-They about to recreate the horror film scenes onto him, bring the popcorn have fun

Levi:

-For some reason, I feel like he doesn’t get scared easily while watching stuff

-I mean, after decades of obsessively watching animes with brutal character deaths (like Attack on Titan style) and grotesque horror games that are pretty nasty even to demons, let alone humans;

-A horror film, from the human world or even DevilDom, doesn’t do much for him

-It will have to have very good psychological horror in it if you want the hairs on his arms to stand up in anticipation

-Tension is a big deal for him and he will immediately shut off the TV if there are any cheap jump scares

-But, if you manage to find just the right thing for him?

-You’ll both be hiding under the bed in no time under the bathtub more like

-Hell, if the film you’re watching is that good, he might even be holding onto you for dear life without realising it and getting flustered about it

-For weeks afterwards, any sound that is remotely similar to one from that movie will probably send both of you into panic

-You came to his room one night because you’ve had a nightmare about the stupid film and legitimately thought there was a fucking demon serial killer in your room

-So you wanted to stay in his

-“But what if there is a serial killer in your room and now you just led it to me MC????”

-It’s all jokes, there’s no question he would lock both of you in his room and then stay there with you wide awake until dawn

-You’re his best friend after all, he would have to be completely heartless to leave you on your own! (Besides Levi is terrifying when he wants to be)

-One time you were sleeping over and the sound of fumbling woke you tf up

-And Levi immediately turned into his demon form, like he was ready to throw hands with this fictional murderer that supposedly sneaked into his room

-“DON’T WORRY MC, I’LL PROTECT YOU!”

-“Ah never mind, it’s just Mammon breaking into your room again to steal your Ruri-Cham figurines and sell them on Akuzon.”

Satan:

-Believe it or not, Satan doesn’t care much about horror movies

-Don’t get me wrong, he loves watching his brothers shit their pants out of fear in the middle of one while he silently smirks to himself because watching other people suffer brings him euphoria

-Especially if someone actually manages to find a film that is excellent enough to spook Lucifer, because then he will be cackLING

-But, overall, he watches a lot of shows revolved around drama and crime

-That’s his thing

-However, he won’t turn you down if you’re up to watching a scary movie with him

-Any time spent with you is valuable time seeing as it won’t be long before his brothers start hogging you again like the cockblockers they are

-He is honestly surprised to find out you seem to be rather amused by those sort of movies

-So, even if it’s not inherently something he does on the regular, he would definitely watch a scary film with you if you enjoy them that much

-But in exchange, he makes you promise to read with him until bedtime rolls around (imagine Lucifer having a fucking curfew for his brothers and you lmao)

Sometimes one of the Four Devas would wander into your room on their own while you were streaming, and of course, everyone wanted to see the cute little hamsters.

After that, it sort of became an inside joke amongst your fandom. Whenever you showed your audience Cham-P, someone would start the chant, and it was all downhill from there (in a fun way).

Someone in chat asked you a question about hamster care, so you responded honestly.

“I don’t know, actually. These aren’t my hamsters, they’re my boyfriend’s. I keep tabs on them while he’s out doing other stuff.”

-So here's the thing (to finally wrap up my rambling), they were soooo close to Cross. Like I know the batch is going to have to go back to bring them more weapons, but they were sooooo close. I get it that they wouldn't have known he was there and it was interesting to see what is going on in the galaxy outside of the squad, especially with Ryloth's history of being constantly under occupation and seeing how they are dealing with the shift from the Republic to the Empire, but I need them to TALK ABOUT HIM! Like let's at least start there. Where's the energy from E3 about not leaving Cross behind? I know that getting him back is going to be really hard, really complicated, and really dangerous and that's why they haven't got him back yet, but at least try to come up with a plan. -once you’re done, he’d squeeze your hand and take a second to come up with words, as hes still in disbelief that you’re insecure.

-he’s noticed you start acting a little weird for a while, things like wearing oversized shirts or keeping your arms around yourself around him and all your friends.

-once he finally decided to ask you about it, you tried to convince him there was absolutely nothing to worry about, but he’s not dense.

-the boy knows lots on insecurities and self loathing, how dare you try to fool him??????

-anyway, he wont force you to tell him but he wont dismiss it because he’s actually pretty worried.

-once you actually decide to tell him, he’ll be there in a heartbeat to comfort you, giving you advice he wished someone said to him when he was down. he’ll probably say a few wrong things at first but quickly fix it if he notices it upset you! he may be a little insensitive but it doesn’t mean he’ll pruposely hurt you.

-when you were feeling too down on yourself, he’d scoop you up in his arms and lay you on a couch or bed (whatever is closer) and began peppering your entire face in kisses.

-if you allowed him to, he’d also place little kisses on your stomach and places you disliked about yourself.

-afterwards, he’d hold you close and begin asking what he can do to help you feel better. if you decide to get thinner, he’ll help you in anyway he can but reassures you that you should only do this for yourself, not because of him or other people. he will never suggest you doing anything to change yourself though, he loves you regardless and reminds that to you a lot.

-quickly loses his “i am satan himself” act and listens to what you say, all while letting you hold the Four Dark Devas of Destruction. you both can’t help but chuckle at the sight of cham-p rolling around in your lap.

-once you finish venting to him a little, he’d sccop up said hamster and hold him to your face.

-”Cham-p is not the thinnest little beast in the world, it does not change his immense power and potential to rule over all mortals!”

-makes little jokes like that in attempts to cheer you up, obviously takes your concerns seriously though! after getting a few smiles out of you, he’d hesitantly wrap an arm around you and plop the little rodent back in your lap, his cheeks flushing due to the hug and looking up at the clouds while he thinks of what to say.

-”S/O, regardless of how you may think of yourself, you must realize your true power and worth. Although you might not see it now, your beloved believes in you! You will not be alone through your thoughts or journey, I will be here to encourage you whenever you might feel like this again. Nothing is wrong with the way you are, please keep that in mind.”

-anytime you’re feeling low, he’ll remind you constantly that theres absolutely nothing wrong with how you are and will spoil you for the day, won’t leave you alone to drown in your thoughts.

-genuinely just wishes he could do more for you, but tries his hardest to at least take those thoughts off your mind for a little and make you smile.

-hamster boy just wants you to be happy :(

Mondo Owada

-when you suddenly come to him for exersice advice one day, hes slightly surprised. he asks you what you need to exercise for, and when you tell him you’re wanting to lose weight he’d be kind of confused but agree.

-once you open up about why you suddenly want to lose weight, he’ll be really understanding about it yet kind of angry towards whatever is making you feel that way.

-”Insecure? You’re perfectly healthy though, why is it so bad? S/O, did someone make you feel this way? Tell me who made you feel this way and I’ll beat them to a fucking pulp!!”

-you have to reassure him it’s just an internal struggle and he has absolutely nothing to worry about before he gets too crazy, though.

-once you explain further, he’ll understand and assure you you’re damn amazing just how you are! he finds you so so so strong for being able to deal with that and admires your determination to get your head out of that bad place.

-when you’re feeling down, he’ll hold you close in his muscular arms and try to encourage you, all while pointing out little things he loved about you. he’d also suggest to take you out on a motorcycle ride to take some air.

-he might even let you work out with him for a bit if you want!

-it gets really fun after a while, while you’re doing some pushups he’ll come and randomly start tickling you, leading to you losing balance and giving him even more access to tickle you, causing a literal tickle fight on the floor.

-it all just always ends in laughs and you fully forget about your worries, happy to have your huge and built boyfriend by your side to cheer you up and help you.

Ishimaru Kiyotaka

-first he notices the way you look at yourself in the mirror or how your excitement turns to disappointment when you try on new clothing. he doesn’t ask at first, but he begins noticing more little changes in your behavior and finally decides to come to you about it.

-a lot of worrying

-he’d frown and ask what it is making you feel like this, sitting you down for you to be comfortable as you vent. once you let everything out he understands a little more.

-does not mean he stops worrying

-ishimaru is really protective and loving, so on your down days, he would sit you down and let you talk it out and he will give you his best advice then hug you tightly. he’ll point out all your great qualities and give you a kiss on the forehead when he’s done.

-he’ll hold you for as long as you need and provide all the comfort he can give for as long as you need it! after a few days, he’ll leave little notes around places he knows you’ll go to. all the little notes always hold cute little words such as “you look amazing today!” or “remember to drink lots of water!”

-overall just really understanding and caring, willing to do anything to help you. best boy taka!

Hello!! :D I'm super happy you liked the Hiro and Kaito thing, I was worried what I wrote wasn't good 😂💜 Ahhhh I L O V E Gundham so this has made me super happy honestly 😂 As soon as I read this a few hc's automatically popped into my head bUT I think they'd be so freaking cute as siblings and I love the idea!! Like Gundham would try to keep Kaito away once he's more grown cause he doesn't want him to be in danger/get hurt but Kaito's a determined af kid and insists on being with his cool big bro no matter what, so eventually Gundham decides to accept it and they just become inseparable

Here, have some headcanons 🌚💜

-When Kaito was born Gundham decided to step back and protect him from afar, he always made sure Kaito was okay and safe but he didn't interact with him since he was a cursed being (plus that poisonous skin of his was a big issue) he was scared Kaito would get hurt cause of him

-It was hard at first, Kaito was an adorable and loveable baby and despite Gundham's strict "no touching" rule, he really wanted to hold his kid brother and play with him

-Still, he managed to stay away as much as he could for a few years, but then Kaito was grown and he became hellbent on spending time with the other and would have tantrums if Gundham tried to stay away

-Gundham was conflicted, on one hand Kaito's safety and wellbeing came first, but he also didn't want to hurt Kaito's feelings and he truly did want to spend time with the kid

-Kaito ended up deciding for him when he snuck into Gundham's room and hugged him, demanding he play with him

-Gundham had freaked the fuck out and almost cried thinking Kaito got poisoned but when nothing happened, he realized Kaito was a singularity

-From there on, they became inseparable

-Kaito loves Gundham's hamsters, his favorite one is Cham-P

-Gundham constantly casts protection spells on Kaito

-Kaito loves taking Gundham's coat and scarf and wearing them

-Gundham tries his best to speak somewhat normally for Kaito's sake, but Kaito actually likes his speech and thinks it's funny

-Once Gundham found out about Kaito's interest in stars and space, he got him a bunch of glow in the dark stars for his room and a star projector

-Gundham always reads him a bedtime story from one of his many special books, he usually twists what it says so it's more kid friendly

-They often walk around the neighborhood/city looking for stray animals to feed and take care of

-Kaito's tried to poke Gundham's red eye and to take his bandages off a lot, which has led to many conversations about some boundaries

-Gundham always takes him to the zoo and to the planetarium

-Kaito loves hearing Gundham's many stories about taming animals

-Kaito constantly demands piggy back rides/to sit on Gundham's shoulders when they're out somewhere

-If Gundham makes him angry/upset, Kaito will cry and will pull on Gundham's scarf a bunch of times

-Gundham has planned numerous times all the spells and curses he's gonna teach Kaito once he's older, this includes telling him the truth about what he really is

-If Gundham leaves the house/is away from Kaito, he makes two of his hamsters stay to keep an eye on him to make sure he's okay (this is also so the hamsters keep Kaito away from his room cause Kaito always tries taking Gundham's books/cursed objects/charms/etc)

-Before Kaito, Gundham despised being chained to the mortal realm and would count down the days till he returned home, but now he'll try anything in his power to stay for Kaito, at least until the kid fulfills his dream of being an astronaut

-If Kaito's sad, Gundham will tell Kaito that he's made the impossible possible (refering to his singularity trait) and therefore he's the strongest and most special warrior Gundham has ever encountered

-From that statement came Kaito's signature phrase years later, "The impossible is possible, all you gotta do is make it so!", he always thinks of big bro Gundham when he says it

-Since Gundham's the "Supreme Overlord Of Ice", Kaito wanted a cool title like that too, so after a lot of brainstorming, Gundham came up with "Luminary Of The Stars", since a luminary can be both someone who influences others/has a personality that enlightens mankind and a body that gives off light/what traditional astrologists called the sun & moon, it fits Kaito cause his personality shines brightly and he's definitely as important as the sun & moon (at least to Gundham he is), plus he loves the stars so he'll be their luminary!

Bad Batch thoughts & predictions Ep 12

Continuing these written reactions/predictions somewhere cause itd be fun I think to see what actually ends up happening and remembering what I thought at the time so im dumping it here, youre welcome. (Feel free to discuss if you want) if you want to keep up with it im gonna be tagging these as #jay rambles about bb

- So I sort of expected it by the end of last episode but it seems like last episode was a start of an episode arc about hera's family, which, for rebel's fans I'm sure it's cool and exciting and maybe answers some questions or will actually show things discussed in rebels maybe, but as someone who hasn't seen rebels yet, I really hope this episode and the next few have more bad batch screentime, cause we were a little robbed last episode lol (but in a way I do still enjoy this stuff too, because im sure when I DO watch rebels it'll make the experience better). -- I'm not disliking this arc or anything, but up to this point we've kind of had almost mandalorian style 'one episode one adventure' sorts of episodes, and personally I really hope we get more of that (which I think we will), because while this is all new content and everything, we all have to admit clone wars had some less interesting filler arcs here and there, and I just hope bb doesn't fall the same way (across all of its seasons, im not very concerned about it so far from what we've seen of season 1) because if there is filler, I'd rather sit through a couple of the one episode stories, rather than a 3-4 episode story that takes nearly a month to get through if im disliking it, mostly for the fact that even if we got those 1 ep fillers, its more stories and more likely I'd like at least one. ---kinda rambling about this unnecessarily atm cause while again right now I think bb is fine, I just want the future to be that way too. - fffff every time I see howzer on screen I think of that fucking audio thats "here comes the boy, hello boy~" and honestly can you blame me he is so precious like ugh I swear dave you better be nice to him -- YOU CAN TELL HE FEELS SO BAD AND GUILTY LIKE IT HURTS - hey admiral can you not be MEAN to howzer when he is trying to be fucking helpful -- ;-; BRO im saying it so much already but I feel so bad for howzer like dude someone help him --- imo it feels like its sort of setting up howzer for something more important in the show kinda, at least for his character. Like we can clearly tell he doesn't really agree with the empire and I think they're going to do something with that. He's probably undercover for someone against the empire but I get the bad feeling they're gonna pull a Fives and have him go against the empire and help everyone else somehow but then he will probably end up dead because we cant have nice things. - hello cross... bet you wont be saved this episode - Ok good, some more bad batch here already. -- ALSO GONKY BEING DEFECTIVE!!!! EVEN GONKY IS DEFECTIVE LIKE BB THATS SO CUTE! - uh, im not the only one getting the leia transmission vibes from hera, right? -- ok, again I haven't seen rebels so I dont know BUT if hera has the ability to talk to bb, couldn't she have done so in rebels? Yeah she's older and im sure better at fighting and defending herself and all that, but wouldn't it still be possible for her to have gotten in some kind of rough situation in Rebels to ask for bb's help again? I super doubt bb made any appearance of any kind in Rebels, so doesn't that imply that she lost communications with them? What happens to bad batch >> - bad batch not wanting to help but because omega really wants to you can see its making hunter soften up and I appreciate it - bruh what??? Taa is dead af, like theres no way the show is gonna pull some magic and be like 'oh yep here he is' thing??? Like this has to be a lie, but even then, what even is the plan here?? Saying "oh hes recovering" well he can't be recovering forever, how does that seem like a good plan to lie about that?? People are gonna find out?? - "Great just what we need" from Wrecker about crosshair MAKES ME ANGRY LIKE??? YES?? DONT BE MAD AT HIM ITS NOT HIS FAULT??? SAVE YOUR FUCKING BOY??? -- oooo then the rest of bb doesn't comment about it literally gsjrkgbdkfbg why do they not care about him???? Like it seems they legitimately dont care about crosshair, even though theyve been together for so long like even before the show came out they

had history together and were all really close. I know people argue "oh well its just difficult to save him and its unrealistic for them right now" but so what? Even if they aren't trying to save him they should at least CARE about him. --- Which is also like the thing with echo and fives!!!! Like Echo didn't seem to care much at all when Rex mentioned fives even a little! Or even about seeing Rex that much!! Dave I'm gonna need some answers my guy, cause you humanized these characters but then you dont make them act that way so like whats up. - Lucky hunters abilities came in handy - Back to crosshair for a second im predicting they 100% arent saving him this season. can't help but feel like its a little underwhelming (but dont get me wrong still cool vibes) because he's kind of already been doing that anyway?? Or has tried to several times?? So I don't get why its a big deal, however, I do have a possible prediction: We know that bb got their chips removed, (crosshair doesn't, I know that) and so that eliminates the idea that they will get caught and actually go bad like crosshair, but it does leave a possibility where maybe they get captured and then *pretend* to be bad? And that could lead to a better possibility of helping crosshair (they wont) or maybe howzer and the other rebels or something? Cause I also feel like its significant that they brought up how the war will eventually come to them and bb will be a part of it no matter what eventually, and it makes obvious sense theyd be on the rebels side of it, so maybe something like that goes on, idk.

BTS as Boyfriends

Jin is definitely awkward at first, but once he’s comfortable with you, he’s super affectionate. He’s shy, so he’s so nervous about everything at first, holding hands, kissing, even hugging you. But he’s also filled with love, so once his walls come down, it’s love 24/7. He makes you dinner, packs you lunch, makes sure you always have your favorite snacks. He’s also super encouraging, always telling you you look good, but not as good as him 😂. Jin is so funny, you laugh everyday. I’m talking from the moment you wake up until you close your eyes. From silly little jokes, to funny pictures or making faces, he’s made it his life mission to make you smile. He’d rather facetime than text or talk on the phone, but he still always sends cute little texts of him posing with RJ or a dog he saw on a walk or a drawing he made. He always tries to plan fun dates. Even if they’re just staying at home, he makes sure to get a movie you told him you wanted to see or that you mentioned was one of your favorites when you were little. He remembers so many little things about you, not just how you like your coffee, but the name of your pet when you were a kid or even your favorite shoes you had as a kid. He can definitely be stubborn at times, but it’s never in an aggressive manor. And if he ever raises his voice, he immediately feels bad about it, even if you aren’t bothered by it because it’s really not raising his voice. He’s super hard working, and that translates into the relationship. He wants to make sure that you know how much you mean to him and you’re a top priority to him. After you’ve dated for a while, he loves talking about getting a pets with you, pets over kids for sure. Not that he doesn’t want them someday, maybe, but for right now, having a fur baby is way more obtainable and feasible.

Yoongi is really just a big softy and wants everyone in his life to have love and happiness. He may have trouble expressing things verbally, but there’s so many other little things that he does to show you he cares. From little notes, to small gifts and flowers, to soft gestures, he makes sure you know how much he cares about you. He’s definitely slow to say i love you, not because he doesn’t feel it, he just doesn’t know how to say it, but he definitely shows it. He loves to take care of you. He cooks dinner, will do the shopping, the laundry, buy you tampons, get your favorite wine. he remembers the little things you like. You tell him one time you like a candy, there’s always that candy in the pantry. He’d much rather have a night in than going out, but that doesn’t mean it’s not still romantic and cute. He’ll even dress up and set the table for you like it’s a restaurant. PDA is almost non existant outside of holding hands, but when it’s just the two of you, you’re showered in kisses. He loves just soft and cheesey moments. If Holly likes you, you’re a keeper. As you get more serious, talks to turn to get Holly a sibling, deffinely another dog or cat over a human sibling. While he may seem closed off or work obsessed, he definitely makes sure you know how special you are to him everyday. Sometimes you get upset because you feel like he’s being stand-offish or ignoring you, and he gets frustrated, but once you begin to understand each other more, you grow to understand how each other work, and the things you thought were him ignoring you are just part of his personality. But he works hard on becoming more vocal and open everyday.

This man right here was designed to be a boyfriend. Like every cliche is him, in the most adorable way possible. Flowers because it’s a Tuesday, a little plushie he saw at the store and remind you of him, matching hats, matching sneakers, matching bags, he’s all about that. He always makes sure his hoodies are clean so you can take one if you want to. He also loves making you playlists of songs he’s been enjoying or remind you of him or he thinks you’ll like. He also loves taking you out and showing you off. He wants everyone to love you, but not as much as he does. PDA doesn’t bother him, he’s so affectionate 24/7. He loves holding hands and kissing, cuddling, tickles, everything. He just wants to be with you. Sometimes you have to tell him to give you some space because he would smother you with love all day if he could, just so sweet. You have little tiffs sometimes, but nothing ever blows up into a serous argument. He’s definitely great at expressing what’s bothering him or upsetting him and working on finding a resolution to anything that’s bothering you. He loves surprising you, just showing up at work to take you to lunch. Telling you to be ready by 10, he’s got an exciting day planned together, gifts all the time. Once he’s serious, he has no problem planning your future together. He’ll stay up late talking about how many kids he wants and what names he likes, where he wants to settle down, growing old together. Once he’s in love, he’s in love deep.

Joon definitely struggles between being the strong and masculine boyfriend vs the soft and cuddly boyfriend and tries to find the balance between the two. He’s very traditional, so there’s a whole courting process before you’re officially a couple. He loves taking you out, on either dates to 5 star restaurants or a picnic along the river, if he could take you on a date evrynight he would. At first, it can almost feel like he’s trying too hard, and it’s partially because he’s trying to find a happy medium of being a masculine and soft boyfriend. But once he finds that happy medium, it’s so special. He loves traveling with you, he wants to go to every museum with you, always telling you things like you belong in a mesum or you’re more beautiful than the art. Definitely cheesy, but it’s so cute and endearing. There’s definitely moments at the beginning where you get upset he doesn’t feel the same about you as you do about him, but it’s just because he struggles showing his affection. But he’s such a good listener and so good with his words, you have great talks about what you’re feeling and want and need from each other. Once you get through that, it’s seriously like a movie. He’s the picture perfect boyfriend, and once things get serious, it’s dinner with his family once a week and planning the next 50 years. He talks about how he can’t wait to have kids and how you’d be the best mom. It seriously would grow into such a warm and comfortable friendship and partnership. Once he’s commited and serious, he’s in it for life.

Jimin is a cheesy romantic, so you have such a fun and loving relationship. He wants to take you around the world and take pictures every step of the way. You definitely go to every Disney park, like he has to have some kind of connection there becaue you go to the secret clubs and in every castle. He’s also super affectionate, will kiss you at every change he gets, pda isn’t a worry for him. He hates being alone, so it seems like he’s clingy at first, but you realize it’s part of his cham, and it makes you fall in love with him. When he falls in love, it’s 110%. He’s naturally flirty, which can be annoying, but he makes sure to let you know you’re the only one he’s thinking about. Gifts, so many gifts. It could be a $2 keychain at the gas station to a $10,000 bag, if it reminds him of you, he buys it. He also makes you little notes and drawings all the time. You have a whole little box of the notes and cards he’s gotten you. Matching outfits everyday of the week if he could. It can be as obvious as wearing the same jacket to something subtle like the same bracelet. He talks about starting a family with you, but only after you’ve traveled every place he wants to take you. He talks about wanting to move out of the city and back to the coast when you start a family so you can have pets and a yard and grow up away from the crazy that city can bring. He just loves every cliche, and wants it to feel like you’re in a romcom everyday.

Tae is very closed off at first because he’s been screwed over in the past, but once he realizes you like him for him, he’s so sweet. He was designed to cuddle all day everyday, so he’s constantly trying to get you to come over just to cuddle on the couch and watch tv. He writes you little songs all the time and gets too embraced to ever sing them for you, but he gives you all the poems and songs he writes. He loves just doing everyday things with you like walking Tan or doing laundry. He also loves planning cute dates at home, making a blanket fort and watching movies, turing the living room into a dance floor, painting together, he always makes the cutest little home dates. Like pinterest level cute. You love to just sit together and listen to music or read, and it’s just comfortable. He’s shy in public with you, but he’s so loving when your alone. He loves taking you to museums and galleries, he just loves art and wants you to love all of his favorite artists. Once you’ve been dating for a while, he’s definitely talking about a family. He wants a little Tae army, and he wants to move out of the city and have a farm. Horses, sheep, chicken, dogs, cats, and a huge garden. It would definitely be slow and hard at first, but once he knows you he can trust you, it’s so cute and perfect.

This boy is an angel on earth and is made of 100% pure love. The most hopeless of romantics, he makes everyday special. It can almost feel like he’s trying too hard at first, and it may be becaus he is, but it’s just because he’s so full of love. The most loving and respectful boyfriend you could ever have. It’s like a month before he stops asking if he can hold your hand and two before he stops asking to kiss you. He’s awkward at first just because he wants everything to be perfect. This boy wants you to feel like you’re all the sweet scenes in K Dramas ans RomComs. So many sweet gestures, like flowers, thoughtful gifts and hand written notes. He also loves taking pictures and videos of you when you’re not paying attention. It’s 75% of his camera roll. He tells you he loves the way your face looks when you’re reading or the way your nose scrunches when your laugh, then shows you the picture of it so you can see what he’s talking about. He loves taking you on trips and to fancy restaurants, but loves going to hole in the walls or staying home and ordering takeout more. He loves going on adventures, too. Like hop n the car and just drive, go on a hike, driving to the beach just because, always down for a road trip. All for matching tattoos, like you have to talk him out of tattooing your name in a heart. He struggles to say I love you at first, but once he knows it and you’ve said it to him, it’s non stop. Random texts and calls just to say I love you. He can not wait for you to meet his family, like would have introduced you in the second date, but waits until you’re ready. He also loves talking about the future with you. How many kids you want, living in the country, having so many pets, somewhere that’s close to nature so you can just go one hikes and adventures.

I have a few questions about some plot holes in the new Mandalorian episode.

SPOILERS for Chapter 7: The Reckoning Below the Cut!

The episode came out a few days early for those of you who may not have heard or may not have watched it yet.

Just in case the cut doesn’t stick here’s a few more spoiler warnings so you can skip ahead if you don’t want to read anything too spoilery.

Okay. 

So, I have just a couple things to nitpick, and usually I don’t try to nitpick too hard even when we obviously need this turning point for the narrative of the story, but I am just a little baffled at how we got to where we are by the end of the episode.

PROBLEM #1:

My first problem is the arm wrestling scene. 

I’ve seen some people posting on that already and I guess it’s true that Baby Yoda is learning and growing, teaching himself to be more protective and such, but he did see the Mandalorian and Cara Dune literally beating the crap out of each other and did nothing but sip his soup just a few weeks prior, so....? 

I assume he can sense their emotions with the Force, and at the level he currently is in his connection to the Force (his infancy notwithstanding) he should be able to tell malice from friendly competition.  

What could have been a cute “oh, I’m going to use the Force to help Dad win” scene got really dark really fast and *whispers* I don’t like it...

Now... it is entirely possible that Cara Dune isn’t as much of an ally as we think she is and Baby Yoda can pick up on that, but at this point, I’m not really sure, and I’m afraid this is setting up something less wholesome than we’ve been dishing out since the first episode.

 PROBLEM #2, and what is probably my most important nitpick of the episode:

The distance traveled between the Razor Crest and the guild city on Nevarro makes no sense to me!

For starters, the whole party spent the night setting up camp and hunting for food. This means that the guild city was too far away to get to on foot/ Blurrg-back when they left the Razor Crest’s landing spot.

However, later in the episode, we see Kuiil riding a Blurrg back to the ship, but he never had to stop and make camp or take a break due to any supposed long distances from the night before, and he was twice as far away because this was the next morning.

Even later we see two speeders closing in on the ship’s location, but they also did not need to take any sort of break and they cut through the terrain like a lightsaber through butter with how fast they were able to close the gap between them and Kuiil. 

Getting back to the camping scene... I assume most of the people in Greef’s party, the Mandolorian included, knew a bit about the planet, and they probably knew that there might be some savage bat-things around the area. So why would they stop to make camp if the distance between the Mandalorian’s ship and the city weren’t really at a camp-worthy distance? 

Why not have a different rendezvous time to avoid travelling during the night?

I may be wrong, but I don’t remember them saying anything about a surprise factor when meeting the “Client”, so why bother meeting at that time if they weren’t even using the night for cover? 

Greef and his buddies traveled to the Razor Crest’s rendezvous so they knew the time and distance it took to get from point A to point B. Why settle for that time and place to meet if they knew it might be dangerous during the night? And why camp for that matter? Especially when the whole thing was an ambush to begin with?

Now back to the Blurrgs...

In Star Wars Rebels s3 ep 5 “Hera’s Heroes” we see Cham Syndulla and Numa outracing a couple of Imperial Scouts on speeder bikes while riding away on their Blurrgs without losing the gap between them. 

And yes... okay... maybe Ryloth Resistance Blurrgs are trained to be a bit more athletic than Kuiil’s farm Blurrgs... and maybe Speeder Technology has advanced a little in the years since the war ended to make the bikes a bit faster, but I still don’t think that those scouts would have been able to catch up to the Blurrg after Kuiil had been given such a large head start.

This is of course also factors in the whole “pointless camping stop” and the “supposed” distance between the Razor Crest and the city. 

The timing of it all just doesn’t add up.

...

I don’t know... I may need to re-watch the episode and see if I missed something they were talking about between landing on Nevarro and setting up camp. If the whole ambush vs healing scene had to play out the way it did, fine, but I don’t think they needed a camping trip to come to that convenient conclusion when the distance or element of surprise wasn’t even really there to begin with. 

IG-11 could have a role in all this as well. I guess we’ll find out next week?

All that said, I really do like the show and I’m not complaining about the things that happened in episode 7 which tipped the mood of the story, but I feel like there were some minor plot holes used in order to get there.

Then again, I maybe just missed something. That is entirely possible.

I’ll Be With You From Dusk Till Dawn

A/N: This is my first time ever writing a fanfic, so I hope you guys enjoy it. I had to sort of leave the story in a cliffhanger, since it was getting a bit long, so there might be another part to it. This was written for @cleolemonfanfiction ‘s Marvel Men Writing Challenge

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Black Reader

Summary: The setting takes place somewhat between the ending of Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther. When a telepathic outcast becomes the caretaker of an outcast on the road to redemption, they form an inseparable bond

  It has been a few difficult months when it came to working with such a broken mind. Hydra was very thorough with their brainwashing program, especially with their super soldier, James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes, also known to the world as the Winter Soldier. Any normal doctor or psychologist would’ve given up ages ago, since Bucky’s mind was so damaged. But lucky for him, you were willing to step up to the plate. Not only were you T’Challa, who was to become the new king of Wakanda, and Shuri’s cousin,  but Hydra had also caused you great pain in the past. Despite all the hardships you’ve endured, you took on being Shuri’s assistant in order to prove to yourself that you can be a great use to your country, and to prove that Hydra can’t win.

 Thanks to your telepathic powers and through trial and error, you have made great progress with Bucky. With each passing month, there were many breakthroughs when it came to piecing together the very complexed jigsaw puzzle that was Bucky’s mind. Though very hesitant at first, Bucky had taken quite a liking to you. When he first was unfrozen from his cryogenic chamber, the first thing he saw was you. He saw compassion and intensity in your Y/E/C eyes, but he also noticed that you had scars around your body that looked like stripes.

“Hello, Sergeant Barnes. My name is Y/N,” was the very first thing you’d said to him, and the rest was history. While Bucky was very guarded at first, he slowly was able to bring his walls down when it came to you during your telepathic sessions with him. Little by little, you each were able to open up to each other. He told you about his childhood, his best friend, Steve Rogers; and his time in the army. During the sessions, Bucky learned that you were captured by agents of Hydra at a young age and was tortured relentlessly, resulting in the scars around your body. He also learned that they had experimented on you, which resulted with you receiving telepathic abilities. It took four long years for the Dora Milaje to track down the Hydra base that you were being held prisoner in, but after that incident, you were treated like some sort of outcast. The royal family had kept you under heavy surveillance until you able to fully control your newfound powers. When you were rehabilitated back into society, she were immediately given sympathetic yet scared looks from your fellow Wakandans, even earning yourself the name Omnyama from the small children who couldn’t help but gawk at you . “Even though I’m not self-conscious about my scars anymore, I still feel like if I wasn’t part of the royal family, I would still be tortured and experimented on.” You drifted off, trying to swallow down the sadness that was threating to burst out of you as you recalled those haunting memories. With his right hand, Bucky lightly traced the skin of you cheek with his fingertips, causing you to look at him. Your intense yet sad Y/E/C eyes have captivated him yet again, causing his heart to skip a beat. Still keeping his hand on your cheek and keeping his eyes on you, he said, “I don’t mean to be forward, Y/N, but when I first laid eyes on you, I thought you were beautiful, even with your scars.  With everything that Hydra has done to you, I admire the fact that you don’t let it define you. The strength and courage you carry makes you even twice as beautiful, and I’m so thankful that you’re the one helping me. And to be honest, I’m so damn happy that I’m not alone.” With that confession, it caused you to let go of a single tear. A simple, “Thank you,” was all that you could let out. From that day on, a spark grew between the two of you.

Over time, you were able to convince Shuri and even T’Challa to give Bucky a room in the palace in order to further evaluate him, and to also give him a sense of normalcy. During your time together in the palace, you and Bucky were able to get to know each other on a more personal level, especially since the two of you had the habit of going to each other’s rooms to hang out.  The both of shared your interests and your likes and dislikes, even when it came to music. “Music use to be simple back in my day, but the stuff that is out now in this day and age is complete garbage, “ said Bucky, rubbing his temple with his only hand. “Geez, you sound like an old man! Not all music is garbage nowadays,” you retorted, twirling some loose strands of his hair around your fingers. Bucky looked up at you, arching his eyebrows, “Oh yeah? Care to enlighten me? And for the record, I may be over a 100 years old, but as you can see, I don’t look old.” With the way the he was looking at you, you became a blushing mess. “I-I don’t know! There’s lots of music that is good out there. E-Especially the ones that have a deeper meaning to them or story within the lyrics. I can’t name ones of the top of my head right now, but there’s plenty of them.” Bucky let out a slight chuckle, “You’re so cute.” Clearing your throat, you tried to gather your composure. “We just have to find music that suits you. I honestly take you for a Rolling Stones kind of guy.” “Well…,”Bucky sat himself up, facing you directly to give you his full attention, “I’ll definitely check out their music since you have such interesting tastes,” he said giving her a soft smile, one that was filled with adoration, but with a hint of seduction. With that being said, you couldn’t help but to let out a soft giggle, “You won’t be disappointed.”

In that moment, something went through Bucky like a bolt of lightning. With all the time that he has spent with you, he has viewed you like a little sister or a very close friend, but this time is so different. He wasn’t so sure about his feelings at first, but at this very moment, he is certainly positive that he has deeper feelings for you. Just everything about you was so intoxicating to him, and oh God, the way you looked at him with those intense Y/E/C. He just wants to drain in them and never return to the surface.

‘Cause I wanna touch you baby

And I wanna feel you too

I wanna see the sunrise

On your sins just me and you

Bucky leaned into you, gathering up the courage to prepare himself for what he is about to do next. He reach out with his hand and gingerly stroked your cheek. You were slightly taken aback when Bucky softly planted a soft kiss on your lips, but then returned the kiss, coming to the realization that you too had strong feelings for him. Within that moment, you both started to passionately kiss each other, and before you even knew it, you both were getting into a fierce make out session. Bucky desperately wanted his primal male instincts to take control, but his old-fashioned side got the better of him. He broke away from the kiss, but kept you cuddled up against him. From all the excitement you’ve gotten into, you had said something in Wakandan that caused Bucky to laugh. “I take it that what you just said was a good thing?” Through labored breath, all you could mustered up was a simple, “Yeah.”  After that excitement, a few hours had passed with the both of you just cuddling up in bed, enjoying each other’s presence.

 The day that T’Challa ascends the throne has finally arrived, and everyone has been ripping and running to make preparations for the coronation. Your main focus was supposed to be on the coronation, but all you could think about was spending the day with Bucky. Even though the two of you enjoy spending time together listening to music and watching movies in each other’s rooms, you have yet to have a proper first date. The amount of time that the two of you had spent time together hasn’t gone unnoticed by your cousins, especially with your aunt, Queen Ramonda. Your cousins were somewhat acceptant of you and Bucky, but it didn’t exempt you from constant teasing. Your aunt on the other hand wasn’t afraid to show her concerns about you spending excessive amount of time with Bucky. She strongly believed that Bucky was supposed to be your ward and nothing more, but she did understand your need to make an outsider feel welcomed. “Now, Y/N, I need you to be on your best behavior today. Don’t forget that your cousin’s ascension to the throne is important to us all. I know that your emotions are running strong for this man, but you cannot afford to be distracted,” the queen said, trying not to sound hard but stern. You lowered your head, wanting to fight back with a retort but knew it would be futile. “Yes, Aunt Ramonda,” was all you could say. “Good…now get ready. We all need to look our best for our future king.” You’ve left the queen’s chambers a bit frustrated, but you have been formulating a plan to spend some quality time with Bucky after the coronation.

It was midday when everyone was preparing to go on the boats to the ceremonial site. You were dressed in a ceremonial gown that represented the royal family’s colors, and your face was adorned with ceremonial markings. You’ve promised your aunt and your cousin that you’ll meet them on the boat, but you couldn’t help but to visit Bucky. When you got close to Bucky’s sleeping chambers, there were two guards keeping watch. You had given them the Wakandan salute, which they had given in return, temporarily relieving them as you’ve entered into the room with the biggest smile on your face. “Wow…,” was all Bucky could say once he caught sight of you, which made you blush. “Stop it,” you said, letting out a small giggle. “What? Can’t help that your beauty amazes me every single time a see you,” he smiled, wrapping you in his embrace. “You and your chivalry,” you said as you lean into him to give him a soft kiss upon his lips, “I’ll be away for a few hours, but I think I have a way for us to have an actual date tonight.” “Isn’t the guy supposed to take a girl out on a date?” Bucky said, tilting his head. “Times are changing, old man,” you said teasingly, giving him a kiss on the cheek.  “I have an idea in mind, but I’ll let you in on the details as soon as I get back. I’ll be back before you can say when.” “When,” he gave a playful pout, making it even harder for you to go to the coronation since he looks so damn adorable. “I promise that tonight would absolutely be perfect.” The two of you gave a last embrace before you left for the ceremony.

Several hours had passed, and everyone in Wakanda was in full celebration mode. Once T’challa was crowned king, you immediately went back to the palace to meet up with Bucky. When you got into his room, you jokingly expressed to him that the coronation was a completely snore fest, but he knew that you were immensely proud of your cousin. You had then taken his hand into yours and lead him over to the bed. Once you both sat on the bed, you began explaining your romantic rendezvous. “I honestly think that you’re ready to rejoin society,” you blurted out. With that statement, Bucky immediately became hesitant. “I-I don’t think I’m ready, Y/N. I know that I don’t feel Hydra’s influence on me anymore, but I don’t think society would be so acceptant of me, “Bucky huffed, getting up from the bed. “I feel like that there’s so much blood on my hands, that I don’t deserve a second chance like this.” You immediately went in front of him, placing both of your hands on his cheeks, “Hey, everything is going to be alright, and you know that I won’t let anything happen to you.” A sudden calming wave went through Bucky’s body, which he knew was your telepathic abilities taking full effect. Once he had felt calm again, he was eager to find out what you had in store for your date.

 A/N: The word Omnyama was the closes translation to the Xhosa language (which was the language used for the people of Wakanda if some of you didn’t know) for the word Black Tiger.

This boy has had a crush on you for a while

(I mean you were the first one he got all the hope shards from after all)

You manage to make life on the island not so bad

Had he thought of confessing to you? Perhaps, but you deserve better than someone who couldn’t remember his own talent.

The morning started off as normal (Akane wolfing down inhuman amounts of food, Nekomaru cheering her on, Mikan tripping for the fourth time this day, Teruteru making his many perverted comments, Nagito creepily laughing. You know normal things)

He was always one of the last ones to leave (Those blasted Monocoins could be anywhere!)

That’s when you approached him with a small blush on your face

“Is there something you wanted to ask me C/N?” (Stay calm Hajime)

You took a deep breath then confessed

He almost forgets to reply to be honest

When he asks you what’s wrong you, frustrated, blurt out that that was a love letter that you worked two whole days on writing and now it’s gone.

Even more frustrated you stand up and kiss him

He’s still at first but then starts to kiss you back

You two eventually part when you need air

He was terrible at hiding his crush on you, absolutely horrid

Hell even Akane knew, Akane!

For once in his life NEKOMARU NIDAI was acting like a coward

He just couldn’t get the nerves to confess to you, every time he tried he instead ask you if you wanted training

You found his attempts adorable tbh

And you decided since he couldn’t confess you would and you decide to do it in the loudest way possible

You borrowed one of Ibuki’s many megaphone and waited till Nekomaru was training by himself

You took a deep breath before shouting into it

“NEKOMARU NIDAI I, FIRSTNAME LASTNAME, HAVE ROMANTIC FEELINGS FOR YOU! WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?”

You scared him when you started yelling but once he processed what you said he let out a loud laugh.

“OF COURSE I, NEKOMARU NIDAI, WOULD LOVE TO GO OUT WITH YOU!”

Of course he shouted it back

He also picks you up and spins you around in his arms

(You guys didn’t need to tell anyone about you two dating because they all heard the yelling)

Teruteru Hanamura

While he always flirts with everyone you were one that he always manged to flirt with at least 5 times a a day (Yes he counted)

There was just something about you that attracted him in a way that no on else did

Though you seemed to be up to something today

You and Mahiru took the kitchen away from him after breakfast! Something about baking lessons?

He was a bit angry about being kicked out of his favorite place but more hurt that you didn’t ask him for help.

It was a small heart shaped cake with the words “I like you, will you go out with me?” written on top of it in icing

“C/N this is one of the sweetest things someone has done for me.. of course I’d be your boyfriend! What fool wouldn’t want to tap that!” (cue eyebrow wiggle)

He’s another one whose obviously fallen for you

The way you talk, your laugh he generally loves everything about you

Soooo he tends to follow you around like a lovesick puppy

You were thinking of confessing for a while but didn’t know how to, luckily Kazuichi brought you the solution for your problem

“Hey! C/N Look at what I made!”

It was a small robotic cat

He pushed a button on it’s back

“Purrrroud to meet you C/N” The cat said in his voice

“It can copy back anything you tell it. Pretty neat huh!” He huffed proudly

This gave you an idea and you whispered something to the robot.

Then you gave it back to him and told him to press the button

He did

“Kazuichi Soda will you be my purrrfect boyfriend?”

He yells yes and hugs you tightly (the robot gets thrown to the floor and breaks in his excitement)

He’s so happy that he’s crying

Gundam Tanaka

This boy is such a blushing mess around you

Like if someone can faint from blushing then he could have by now

He can’t help it do.. your just so perfect.

You accept his uniqueness and even play along with him

You listen to everyone of his tales with such bright eyes

Plus the Dark Devas are completely smitten with you

And hiding his face in his scarf

He arrived at the beach to see you standing there, you smiled as you saw him and walked over to him.

“W-well what the fuck do you want?” (smooth Fuyuhiko smooooth)

You let out a small laugh and confessed

Poor baby gansta’s face is cherry red when he hears that

He stammers a reply

“M-me? You want to go out with me? You sure about this C/N? I am the Ultimate Yakuza after all…”

You reassure him that you are positive and that it could only be him.

He blushes brighter red… “T-then.. can you lean down for me real quick?”

You are confused but comply

And he takes that moment to kiss you

What were the OCs like as children?

I googled the faceclaims as children for this and it does not disappoint, they were very cute.

 Kalyani Kapoor - I think Kalyani was one of those kids who could never sit still. She would never just sit down and relax, she was always doing something. Road trips with her were an absolute nightmare. I think she was a really chatty kid too, just talking a mile a minute (I also think her sister was the same way, so their brother never got a word in). She was also the biggest tomboy, and her mother would never let her cut her hair because then everyone would think she was a boy. 

 Tobias Blake - I think Tobias was more of a quiet kid, but quiet in the way where he can go on forever once he finds someone who’ll listen. He was pretty awkward and really goofy, so he was not popular at all as a kid. He was maybe a little clingy, like he would latch on to people really easily and then they would sort of be his person. 

 Arcelia Cortez - I think Celia was absolutely awful as a kid. Not like she was bad or anything, but such a know-it-all. Brutally honest and with zero sympathy, I think that whenever her dad introduced her to a new boyfriend or girlfriend she would just tear them apart. Not to be mean or because she didn’t like them, she just made observations and didn’t really know what not to comment on. 

 Hazel Aria - I think that more than anyone else in the club, Hazel was the younger sibling who really tried hanging out with her older brother. She would always try to keep up with him and his friends, but not necessarily in such an annoying way, she would just want to sit with them when they played videogames, or get to watch or judge if they played sports. It was so endearing, and I don’t think Zach minded most of the time. Besides that I think she was a sweet, obedient kid, and a little silly. 

 Aminah Cham - Aminah was the goofiest little kid. She would always be telling tall tales and had the craziest imagination. She also loved playing dress up and was constantly sneaking into her mom’s make-up drawer. I think she played the most with dolls out of any of the kids. 

 Omar Salib - Omar was much more cautious as a child. He was such a little nerd too, very book-ish. I think he was obsessed with puzzles, and that was always what he wanted for his birthday. He was also such a goody two-shoes. He would never break any rules, and hated being the one to make decisions. Because he had just gotten to America and had a pretty heavy accent, he was picked on a lot when he was younger. 

 Diana Harding - I feel like Diana went through a lot of phases as a child. She would constantly get a new obsession and would take on new personality traits to fit whatever she was obsessing over. Her vocabulary would change and she would always try to learn new skills that her favorite character had. She was also one of those kids that were constantly talking, and the only time she was really quiet was when she was either reading about her new obsession, or watching whatever show she liked at the moment. I think she was a fairly bossy child too, always telling her brothers what to do. Noah was her baby and she would always take him everywhere to show him off.

 Liliana Mendoza - Liliana was much like she is now when she was little. She was a very talkative and happy child, always the center of attention. She was friends with everyone as a child, and could make anyone her friend within two minutes of meeting them. Lily was always taking the other kids on little adventures in nearby forests and parks. While she was one of the happiest kids, she was also one of the ones to cry the most. She would cry whenever she got something wrong during figure skating, and whenever her homework was too hard, or she just didn’t want to do it. 

 Spencer Barnett - Spencer was a huge class clown as a kid, to no one’s surprise. Most teachers found him hard to handle in class, but he was never a mean kid, just boisterous. He was very sensitive as a child though, and if he wasn’t found goofing off on the playground, he’d be hiding behind the school so no one would see he was upset. His mom was definitely the strict and disciplinary parents, so his mom would be laying down the law about “no dessert before you’ve finished your homework”, while his dad would secretly sneak him snacks when he solved a problem in math. 

 Isaiah Campbell - Isaiah has always been very extroverted and he definitely spent most of his time outside playing with the other kids in the neighbourhood. That said, he was a good boy. He didn’t give his mom any trouble and obediently went to church with her every week (always getting dressed up). 

Avery Shaw - Avery was a very quiet child, and he was very hard to get close to. He was an avid reader and would rather read than play with the other kids. He had that brutal honesty that children have, and would actually tell the other kids that he didn’t want to play with them, instead of just ignoring them. 

Meredith Clarke - While Meredith was always a shy kid, she was a lot sillier and brighter as a child. She loved to read, and I think she had a lot of fun playing pretend with other kids. Like Aminah, she would often be telling made-up stories, and she loves getting lost in other worlds. 

Iris Phan - I think Iris was quite like she is now when she was little. I imagine she was a real goody two-shoes, but I think she would have these little moments of mischief with her mom where they would stay up late and have ice cream for dinner and I think baby!Iris loved those nights. She was also a bit of a clingy kid, she wanted to go with her mom everywhere and never leave her side. 

Cameron Sullivan - Cameron was probably the most different as a child. He was sunny and playful and open, he was the least secretive child around. He could not keep a secret to save his life, he would always be giggling if he tried to get away with something. He was a dorky kid, and pretty good with people, he was always well-liked. 

 Lee Sang-Jin - Sang-Jin was always a little performer, he would always be putting on shows for his family, singing along with the radio and dancing. He had the same enthusiastic and lively qualities that he has now, but even more insistent. He could be very annoying when he was little, driving his sisters crazy. Hye-Jin especially was often close to murdering him, while Eun-Jin developed the ability to tune out his babbling.
