so every now and then I keep seeing people on here saying Handsome Jack is canonically bad at sex? Is there any actual proof of that said in the games somewhere like from Moxxi or is it people who really hate Jack saying that?

Open starter for Niragi: There is no way to escape

Niragi slowly blinked, his mind still being far aware, making him stare at everything and nothing at the same time. He felt numb, like his mind and body were disconnected, a feeling that could be hardly put into words. The male knew he had taken part in the last game but he was unable to recall what had actually happened.

As his mind became more clearer he glanced down at himself, to find he was covered in blood. Niragi had no idea whether this was his own blood or the blood of other players and he honestly didn't care. He guessed some of the blood must be his since his body felt weak, but he decided to brush that feeling aside. Other's didn't care about him either.

A voice could be heard that seemed to come from far away which only resulted in a snort coming from him. He then briefly lifted his head up and his dark eyes scanned around the room. "Why would you approach me? You have no idea whether it's safe to stay with me." Niragi asked in a whisper, his tone suggesting he was ready to leap at someone if he had to. Of course this could mean more pain, but pain had become the new normal for him.

[ok since I'm here, i might as well do this post

For 'regular' Jay (like the version of him in the 'sinner in hope county' verse tag), I may retcon the whole B/L Pandoran & Eden-5 origins portion of that, I mean references to the tech and such haven't been made too much, lately, anyway. There have been references that he came from a chaotic zone (Pandora), but I can just, say that chaotic zone is somewhere else on Earth. A place that used to be a normal Earthen city, but, uh, he fucked it up and basically turned it into a chaotic, lawless zone several years ago where its basically constant fighting and survival tactics at all times, 24/7.

It'll be like an enhanced, further down the road version of his Bloody City verse, where he has some form of chaos power that's caused a lot of destruction. He is still enhanced in strength abilities, as well. And, well, why not keep the slowly turning into a monster bits, too? Because nyeh.

Jay is basically walking ruin. He'd destroyed a mega-corp where he came from, and kind of everything else. The environment got a bit fucked up, too.]

Also while I’m thinking about it, do you guys think the ridiculous amounts of parallels between Fran and Gaige were intentional? Or does Gearbox only know how to write so many character archetypes, leading to the series now having 2 unrelated disabled anarchist punk redheads who struggle with emotional regulation and whose backstories involve them accidentally killing classmates with anti-bullying robots?

Borderlands verse.

Born on Athenas, Fíann was the only daughter of Tadgh /Tige/ and Clodagh /Kloda/ Foghladh, doted on as an only child. Ever since she was young, she exhibited siren-like powers the way her mother and grandmother had (as well as the tattoos; unlike her female ancestors Fíann had them on both of her arms). While she was young, there were few signs as to the change in her character that would take over once she met Merric Murchadh /Murphy/.

Running into each other in highschool, they slowly became close friends - or so Fíann thought. After they started to know each other better Merric became obsessed with her and tried to get her to date him, spreading rumours about her and her family after she turned him down. As he came from a rich and powerful family, Merric succeeded in ruining Fíann and her family’s reputation to mess with her, which caused them to clash countless times, often with Fíann starting the fight, attempting to claw Merric’s eyes out and having to be dragged away from him. Because of his family’s power and because Merric’s parents did not wish to make things more serious, the false claims against Fíann’s family were dropped, although for a long time people believed them to be bandits.

Though Fíann gained a reputation for being chaotic and unpredictable - traits often associated with villains - she took after her parents and became a researcher, wanting to distance herself from her history of violence so as not to bring trouble to her parents. Eventually, she was sent to Pandora to uncover its Vault’s secrets. Used to Athenas and its people and a bit shaken from the journey, Fíann stumbled onto Pandora, curious yet confused. What the hell would she be doing on a planet as barren as this? But soon she got to find out not everything is what it seems to be...
