LOOK, I GET IT, we all (TMNT fans) want a crossover movie/special between RoTTMNT and TMNT2012. BUT, and I'm gonna be brutally honest, if we did get a crossover between the two versions, TMNT2012 would probably be getting dragged like how they dragged TMNT87 in their crossover special and how Teen Titans dragged Teen Titans Go! Not that Teen Titans Go is good, dragging it was understandable, but if a TMNT show is able to drag another TMNT show, a crossover between RoTTMNT and TMNT2012 would make it likely to happen again. No, you need not reveal the details to the world but you can never run away from your own realities. Being brutally honest to oneself is the first step towards truthfulness and it is truth and truth alone that ultimately liberates. When was the last time we even sat with ourselves, all alone and by oneself, with no show, no pomp, no pride, just a plain introspection into the journey so far. Ah! Such vulnerable moments are the need of the hour, in a world where we have glorified exhibitionism to an extent that there isn't anything left of our lives that's private anymore. So what am I even proposing here? Nothing but to recollect ourselves, the paths we have chosen, the decisions we have taken - the good of it, the bad of it, all of it - let's own it. And in places where we were compelled, either out of pressure or of the intensity of the situation, let's even forgive ourselves of what we had earned of our actions. Let's be plainly humans, neither are we pure angels nor are we obstinate demons. We exist in that vast shade of greys, sometimes we falter and sometimes we get through. But such moments are needed where we go deeper into all the details of the journey so far, or a self-history check perhaps. You may break off in tears or you may hysterically laugh or perhaps it would end up in gratitude or a deeply felt prayer. Whatever it be, the world will not get better until each one of us take the courage to confront ourselves in all its rawness. Only then can we expect some peace...
