i hate that the solar eclipse just now serves as a reminder that nobody loves me.
#🍂 arian's shit#IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND NOTHING HAPPENED. but yeah#i will always think of the solar eclipse i witnessed and think about that#two people one of them my friend the other i thought i could consider my friend but HE PROBABLY DOESN'T GIVE A SHIT.#they both talked and did their things and laughed and they are so damn close to each other it almost made me cry and reminded me that#it was such a profound moment too when i realized what was going on#they were in another world that didn't have me and i get that. i do. they have known each other for a year and i abruptly showed up#two months ago and one of them we are getting close she likes me around#at least i think#the other one he is nice he is supposed to be like this he is nice to everyone that is who he is#so what is happening: he is completely indifferent to me. most he did was remember my name and face. but he is nice.#i like them both so so much it almosg does hurt when i stood there awkwardly almost like i was intruding#and i realized that i have never not been close to anyone#no acquaintances all the friendships i have had they sre the reason why i live and i know that they live for me too#we have known each other since kindergarten. they held my face and cried and told me that i was love when i was leaving for the last time#they love me. i am sure of it.#but now i don't have anyone near whom i do love. people don't love me. i used to be love.#it also hurts that i am Average Person In The World#i am not funny. i do not have unique quirks. i do not have a single talent.#all i am good for is saying the wrong things all time.#even in my old life i was someone. someone who isn't the same as the person who saw the solar eclipse today and felt all this#i was the idiot. I WAS THE IDIOT. i was the writer person.#i don't feel like any of these things now. they had a thing in common: their capacity to love and be loved.#i love very easily but i am not an easy person to love.#vent post#god this is such a small little thing i am the most pathetic thing in the world#feel free to scroll away don't even read this shit#arian contemplates his universe

childhood friend! Shinichiro Sano
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
part 1 | part 2 (here)
childhood friend! Shinichiro who matures quite significantly by the end of highschool, no longer asking out girls at school anymore much to your surprise
"Woah, look at you."
"Hm??"
"It's been months since you last asked out some random girl. What happened to the women obsessed Shinichiro I know?"
"Shut up, it was just a phase. Besides, you made me open my eyes in a way."
"How so?"
"I guess... I'm just waiting to ask the right person out now."
childhood friend! Shinichiro who invites you to witness the disbandment of the first generation of Black Dragons, despite you not being associated with his gang at all
"Why do you even want me to go? The people I know are only just going to be Takeomi, Waka and Benkei."
"Because I want you to be there. Is there any better reason other than that?"
"I suppose not..."
"And maybe it's also the fact that I need someone to watch over Manjiro haha..."
"I knew it."
childhood friend! Shinichiro who gets upset frustrated when you chose to ride with Takeomi instead of him on the day of the final gathering (he couldn't complain about it to you though, you made a fair point)
"Hey come on! Why are you going to ride with him? Takeomi's a worse rider than me y'know."
T- "Fuck off Shin. You don't worry about me stealing your girl from ya'."
"But you are a reckless rider-"
"Come on Shin, you can't expect me, you and Manjiro to be able to sit in one bike, can you? One of us is surely gonna fall off. I'll be fine with Take-chan, okay?"
"Fine..." (He was not fine with it)
childhood friend! Shinichiro who you make fun of when he comes over to you after the disbandment of the first generation of Black Dragons bawling his eyes out (you were prepared for this outcome)
"Glad to know you're still the same crybaby Shin I know."
M- "Haha! I'm gonna tell Emma you're such a crybaby."
"Cut it out you two! This—sniffs—is a special moment...!"
"You're lucky I brought tissues to wipe your tears away."
"I can't believe you know me that well."
childhood friend! Shinichiro who gets used to you coming over to the Sano household unnanounced whenever you pleased, not that anyone minded, since they all loved your presence
"Emma, be a dear and wake up Shin? Smack him if you have to."
E- "Okay!!"
"Woah, woah, there's no need to smack any—yawn—one. And why are you here?"
"Emma wanted me to teach her a new recipe to make for breakfast. So here I am!"
"And you decided to come over this early??"
"It's 7am Shin. Besides, don't act like you don't like seeing my pretty face the first thing in the morning~"
"Shut up." (Spoiler, he does)
childhood friend! Shinichiro whom you never grow apart from even after highschool, and you both started going on different paths, him opening up a motor bike shop while you started going to college and applied for a part time job as a cashier near the vicinity
"Wait, the shop you're working at is the one down the street, right? Just a few blocks away from my shop?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Great, looks like I can go say hi to you whenever I want."
"Don't you dare do something stupid to get me fired, Shin."
"No promises, ma'am."
childhood friend! Shinichiro who after miserably failing 5 times asks you for your help to bake a cake for Emma's birthday
"And what is this supposed to be?"
"Clearly, it's supposed to be Ariel, y'know, the princess mermaid??"
"That's your best attempt at making an ariel themed cake?? Now I know why you were begging for me to come over when you called me."
"I blame it on Manjiro for ruining the frosting."
M- "Hey! It was you who ruined it."
"So not true."
"I think the both of you should just shut up and help clean up this mess first."
childhood friend! Shinichiro who's gotten used to his siblings asking him where you were whenever you weren't seen with him and getting teased about it
E- "Neh, Shin-nii, where's [name]?"
"Probably stuck in another class, why do you ask?"
E- "I miss her."
M- "Idiot, we already saw her this morning."
E- "Hey! Don't act like you don't want her to come and play with us too!"
"Seriously you two, sometimes I wonder if I'm your older sibling at this point, with how much you ask for her."
M- "Shinchiro, we all know you love her as much as we do, maybe even more~"
"Shut your mouth Manjiro 💢"
childhood friend! Shinichiro who always shows up to your workplace when your shift is almost going to be over, always claiming that he was hungry and wanted to buy something, when in reality, he's there to send you home
"So..."
"And what the hell could you possibly want from this humble store, Shin?"
"Woah, woah! Can't a customer walk around the store to see what they want to get?"
"The last time you were here you knocked down a stack of cans on display, the manager almost reduced my paycheck because of that."
"In my defence, I didn't see the stack of cans."
"Suree you didn't."
"Hey, come on now! You know I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize your job.. on purpose at least...."
"Seriously?"
"Seriously. Now, would you be so kind to get me a pack of cigarettes, y'know, for a very dear friend of yours?"
"The only think you'll be getting from me is a pack of gum, rotten breath."
"Rude... now come on, when does this shift of yours end anyways? Let's get dinner on the way back."
childhood friend! Shinichiro who becomes your gossip and vent buddy whenever he sends you home after your shift, with him hanging onto every word you say, and hating on whoever you hate even if he doesn't know who the hell they are
"Argh, goddamnit, won't she just give me a break already?"
"Who? Wait—no, let me guess. Is it that girl from your econs class? What's her name again? Ka—Ka something..."
"Kazumi. Wow, didn't think you'd actually remember, well somewhat remember at least."
"With how much you complain about her, who wouldn't? But let me guess what she did to aggravate you this time."
"Go on. No guarantee that there'll be a prize for that though."
"She ditched a group project discussion again? Or she claims she's too busy to complete her part of the project when in reality she's going on parties and all that?"
"Mix of both actually, so congrats! No prize for you though."
"Aww. And here I thought you'll reward me for being a good friend."
"Argh, I should ask Takeomi or Benkei to intimidate her into actually taking this group project seriously or something..."
"Why ask them when you have your number one ride or die partner next to you to do so?"
"What'll you do? Intimidate her with the 20 rejections you've gotten? Pfft, she might even make that 20 become 21 before you intimidate her."
"I thought we swore to never talk about that ever again 💢"
childhood friend! Shinichiro who's grateful to you for bringing him his lunch to his shop whenever he leaves it at home and enjoys groans whenever you nag to him about the importance of not skipping any meals
"Guess some things will never change, huh?"
"Huh? Oh, is that my lunch?"
"No, no, it's my supper."
"Ha. Ha. Very funny [name]."
"I deserve more credit for making sure you don't skip your meals."
"Is that so? Would you like me to get on my knees and thank you? I can certainly do that."
"You and your cheesy lines... when will you learn to remember to bring your own lunch to work? You're pulling off the same shit you did back when we were in highschool."
"Maybe I just like your meals better than mine..."
"...??!... That... That still isn't an excuse for you to not bring along something to eat, dumbass. What would you do if I decide not to check in on you, hm?"
"Probably starve to dea-"
-smacks his head-
"Oww??? Alright, alright, sorry I guess, 'mom'. I won't purposely skip my meals ever again..."
"Good... next time, just... ask if you want me to cook extra for you."
childhood friend! Shinichiro who notes how you start to stand one arm's length away from him whenever you're with him, and when he asks you about it, becomes visibly distraught to hear you say he reeks of cigarette smoke
"Hey... why're you standing so far away from me? Don't tell me you came over to my shop just to see me work from a distance now.."
"You just stink, that's all."
"What??!? I definitely don't stink. I took a shower this morning, and I'm not covered in grease or anything..!!"
"It's that smokey smell that's always lingering around you. Y'know, because you like to smoke every now and then.."
"Huhh?!? What're you saying!!"
"Don't tell me you don't reek of cigarettes Shin. It's blatantly obvious, I can probably even smell you from a mile away like this."
"WHAT?!? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS EARLIER???"
"Because I didn't want you to make you self-conscious, stupid! Besides, it's not like I can force you to stop smoking or anything.."
childhood friend! Shinichiro who slowly stops smoking as much as he used to, especially around you so that you wouldn't be disturbed by his smell and stay close to him
"Huh?"
"What is it?"
"Eh... it's nothing important."
"Oh come on, you clearly have something to say. Cat got your tongue or something? Taken aback by my good looks?"
"Yeah, sure, whatever you say. You just... smell different, that's all."
"Is smell all you care about? What are you, a dog?"
"Fuck you."
"Yes please."
"Wha-?!?!"
"I'm joking." (He wasn't really)
"And I probably smell good because I put on this new cologne I got."
"Pfft, to mask off the fact that you're a smoke addict?"
"Hey! Might I inform you that I haven't picked up a cigarette for the past two weeks now."
"Really? Wow, I'm surprised. What made you stop?"
"You. Well, more precisely, you avoiding to get close to me because I stink."
"...?!?" (You were speechless and flustered)
childhood friend! Shinichiro who gets jealous upset when his friends flirt with you right in front of his face, not knowing that they're doing this to get him riled up enough and grow balls to finally confess to you
T: "Say, [name], you got a boyfriend or anything?"
"..?!?! Wha- Why're you asking her that-"
T: "What? Can't a man be curious? Besides, no boyfriend would be pleased if their girlfriend is hanging out with her 'guy' friend and his siblings 24/7."
"Very funny Take-chan. If that's your logic, then I believe you already have your answer."
B: "That's suprising. I was sure a pretty girl like you would have many guys chasing for you."
"...! I'm flattered, Keizo-kun. But I doubt that's the case, haha."
"Oi, you guys, stop bugging her like this..."
T: "Ya'know, I'm pretty sure most girls like strong guys, right? Shin's pretty weak to stay by your side."
"Oi-"
T: "But, he makes it up with his charm and caring side, so I guess you have it good [name]."
W: "Well, that's Shin-chan for ya, so you don't have to worry about him not treating you right, [name]. But if he doesn't, you cant count on us to beat him up for you."
"I.... wow, okay...?"
"?!? Oi, you guys!!? Now you're scaring me!!"
childhood friend! Shinichiro who confronts you one day, telling you all about how his friends and family keep on teasing him about how you and him should date and how he also really liked the idea of that
"Hahaha! Really? Manjiro did that?? I can't believe I missed that!"
"It's painful y'know! Can't believe he's only 12 years old and pulling off roundhouse kicks like that. And to my face too!"
"Well, what'd you do this time?"
"Wha-?!? I can't believe you're so quick to take his side. Both you and Emma."
"What can I say? Both him and Emma are my favourite Sanos after all."
"Gasp After all these years, you're choosing them over me?!? I'm disappointed, [name]. I thought you knew better 😔"
"Cry about it then."
"Mean..."
"But he must have a reason for doing that to you though, right?"
"I mean... it's kind of stupid, really."
"Oh? Do tell whatever the reason for the 'invincible Mikey' to roundhouse kick you. And for Emma to take his side on the matter."
"Ah... they're just mad that I apparently haven't made you my girlfriend yet."
"Huh??"
"I know, stupid, isn't it? They both have been bugging me about this for years now, claiming that they 'want you to be their actual sister'. What's worse is that gramps has the same sentiment as them too."
"Seriously? Sano-sensei as well?"
"Yup. He says he doesn't mind having you as his "granddaughter-in-law" and that you're the only person I ever truly listen to. Bullshit by the way."
"Is it it really though?"
"That's not the point. Hell, even the guys are teasing me for not making it official with you yet. Bugging me about it whenever we hangout, saying that if I don't act soon, they'll steal you away from me."
"I-.... wow... I guess that explains what happened the last time we hung out."
"Yeah, sorry if their words bothered you."
"No, no it's fine. But I'm just wondering... what do you think about all this?"
"Huh?"
"Like.... with everyone bugging you, and well me about this, what are your thoughts on us dating?"
"...?!?... I guess.... I don't mind that..."
"Really? I'm glad then."
"Huh? What do you mean."
"I guess I don't mind us dating as well."
".....Wait..., so are you saying I can be your boyfriend?!?! Really?!?"
"Yes! I'm saying you can be my boyfriend, and I can be your girlfriend, idiot."
"I'm actually so happy right now I could literally kiss you."
"Then do it, Shin. Who's gonna stop you?"

❤️ Riddle grew up with a over-controlling mother, so it's safe, or rather, unsafe to say you also grew up with your mother's rage being quite literally directed at you two.
❤️ His angry issues were quite an interesting match when it came to you being around. If you were to also have a few anger issues, when you two were bickering, as siblings normally do, every single Heartslabyul member would steer clear of you, knowing if Riddle's rage is scary, lord knows how two would be.
❤️ Now, he may be a pain in your ass when it comes to handling the rules, but Riddle does have a sweet side, and your one of the small amount of people who have got to seen this.
️ While yes, Riddle may seem like someone who would let you get away with anything, like breaking the rules for example, he's just as strict on you as he is with Ace and Deuce. But after his overblot incident, he was more lenient with you and the others.

🦁 You two were the oddballs of the Kingscholar family growing up. Being overshadowed by Falena wasn't easy, and watching your other brother, Leona, just descent into this arrogant and prideful shell of what he used to be.
🦁 Leona may be lazy and seems like he would be a terrible older brother, this beastman does care for his family, and while many don't see it, as he never allows his true emotions to surface, instead hiding them behind a rough exterior, he does show you a soft side once and a while.
🦁 If you shared his sleepiness and therefore ability to sleep nearly anywhere, he'd have you skip classes (if you went to NRC) with him and rest in the botanical garden.
🦁 This guy's overblot did effect you in a few ways, and if he did harm you by accident during the magical issue, he immediately rushed to assist you, even if he was injured himself, you were his younger sibling, and he always put you first, at certain times.

🐙 The head of Mostro Lounge is seen to care for his family, at some degrees. So it wouldn't be surprising of you guys were very close to one another.
🐙 Azul and you have been by each others sides ever since you came into the world. He valued you more than anything else in the world, because you understood him, far more than anyone ever could.
🐙 You had been there for him growing up, which means you would defend him from bullies, and you were there the first day he met the Tweels, who you were close friends with.
🐙 If you attended NRC alongside him, you guys were rarely ever seen without the other far away, or having one of the twins with you.
🐙 He may get busy with handling his dorm and on-campus cafe, but believe me when I say this, he cares about you and would do anything, and I mean anything to ensure you happiness and your comfort. You were his little sibling, and he wanted you to feel happy.

☀️ As one of the many Al-Asim kids, you were held in high regard compared to other children. But nobody could compare to the height of Kalim's pedestal for you.
☀️ This little ball of sunshine adored you so much growing up, you two weren't far in age growing up, since you also shared having many younger siblings. He loved you so much that he was with you near constantly.
☀️ Because of your closeness, you met everyone that he met, including Jamil, whom you were fairly close with, almost as close as Kalim! But while it may all seemed like sunshine and rainbows, Kalim was very sought-out for money, so you were as well, albeit possibly more.
☀️ He may seem very happy-go-lucky, but Kalim does have a line drawn in the sand, and that line starts right before potential harm to those he cares for. So when anybody tries to hurt you, Kalim and Jamil normally appear and begin to scare the shit out of the person who tried harming you.

👑 You're a slay. Period.
👑 Vil and you were raised in the spotlight because of your father's profession, and as Schoenheits, you were expected to be beautiful and very regal, which, of course, you were.
👑 If Vil learned it, you learned it. Whether it was poison making, magic styles, or really anything else, you were at the same level as him, because he didn't like leaving you behind.
👑 He may be quite vain at times, but with you, it all goes away. You've seen him at his worsts, and because of this, he wasn't afraid of you seeing him break down, getting mad, you get the gist.
👑 If you attended NRC, you both would be the most beautiful siblings to exist there, gaining the nickname 'The Fairest Siblings', obviously after Rook (once deciphered from French)

🎮 *Insert war flashbacks*
🎮 Idia has a hard time connecting with anyone outside of his family and fellow gamers. But it got even harder after the 'incident' with Ortho years back.
🎮 You and him were close when it came to certain things. Like you two shared your love for technology, and even worked on building Ortho's mechanical form, along with the physiological side of his new form.
🎮 After his overblot incident, you two did grow closer, now with your younger brother alongside your once again. And when you guys were on the Isle of Woe watching over S.T.Y.X., you proved to calm him down in the more anxiety-inducing parts.
🎮 He's quite emotionally delicate at times, which can prove difficult when you and Ortho want him to do something with you. Idia tries to be there for you in every situation, but you gotta remember, baby steps.

🐉 This one is by far the most interesting to write.
🐉 Malleus was isolated his whole life, so he didn't get to experience anything important throughout the world and Briar Valley. And because of this, you were also isolated alongside your older brother.
🐉 He is hailed as one of the most powerful mages throughout all of Twisted Wonderland, so it wouldn't be surprising if you were to make it into NRC with him.
🐉 This heir is quite protective of you, like any brother and dragon would be of family. But he doesn't nearly come close to isolating you or putting you into a tower along to keep you safe and with him as many may think.
🐉 Malleus does enjoy quite a lot of things, like studying gargoyles. Because of his interests, you joined him in the club, and learn about each piece of artwork throughout the building known as Night Raven College.
🐉 Lilia teases you guys a lot, saying you were the scariest yet sweetest siblings he's ever seen throughout hid lifetime. Your brother only chuckles and pardons your shared guardian, saying that you may seen sweet but looks can be decieving.
🐉 Btw, Malleus is extremely protective, and with your shared surname, whoever tries harming you, gets immediate treatment of a war criminal

the thing is... JK Rowling did write the books. She certainly did write the books, which was the pivotal first step.
However, here is an incomplete list of people who meant more to my experience of reading and enjoying the Harry Potter books than JKR ever did:
My grandmother, who read them because she loved to read and because she wanted to understand what the hell her granddaughter - whom she'd recently moved 3,000 in part to live near - spent 90% of her time talking about; who passed away this past fall.
My other grandmother, who read them for more or less the same reason except without the cross-country move; who passed away in 2014. It was in her honor that I bought the current set of books I own.
The uncle-shaped family friend who always listened to me expound on my latest theories for the next book, and told me his own like an equal in intellectual debate
That one writer on Mugglenet's fanfiction archive who wrote a crack soap opera fic in which Professor McGonagall got pregnant from Crookshanks, and the children were cat-human hybrids whom they called "kiddens." That haunts me to this day.
Honestly, collectively every single person who wrote content, be it recordkeeping, fic, or analysis, for MuggleNet circa 2005-2008. Some people spent their internet-childhoods on Neopets or Club Penguin; I read every single page on MuggleNet.com.
The summer camp counselor who'd read HBP when I hadn't yet, and who responded to my positively tsundere attitude toward spoilers by telling me straight-faced that Harry started dating Luna [not Ginny]. A) The fucking audacity! she lied right to my annoying 10yo face! B) I got to experience the giddiness of finding out what happened twice, once then and again later when I read the book! Thank you, Natalie(?) from Y-Camp!
The two friends with whom I went to the DH midnight release party at my local secondhand bookstore, in closet cosplay. We were all in the first 5 people to get our books, and we promptly started reading them while standing outside the bookstore, in the light coming through the front window. 1 of them was parentally required to go to bed but the other and I stayed up all night reading, until we finished the books sometime mid-morning.
My dad, specifically when he (still) tells the story of having to make a "walk of shame" (his words) back to the bookstore the next afternoon, to ask if they had the broom we'd accidentally left behind.
The tourists from America, England, France and China who were all waiting in line at the Platform 9 3/4 overpriced photo op in King's Cross Station the same time I was, in the summer of 2013, which unironically made me feel more spiritually connected with humanity as a whole than possibly any other experience in my life. Like, this is embarrassing. It's a pure tourist trap. Yet people from LITERALLY all around the world had all made the same journey I had to be there, just because we all loved the same books. and that's...really special.
...you know? So, JKR is doing real harm to the trans community now, and will continue to do more and maybe even worse in the future; and I am so, so sympathetic and angry about that. I have no intention of giving her money or any other support ever again, nor of encouraging anyone else to do so.
But all her present vitriol is only drops in the lake of my warm memories. I don't let them give me a falsely rosy view of her, but nor will I let her poison them. And I encourage others to let themselves find the same balance, if they can.

My chest constricted as I felt my body tingle! Why on earth do people reach to conclusions about me so quick. Does words and rumors hold so much power that the authenticity I show in my conduct and behavior just gets washed away. Is the jealousy and hatred directed towards me so powerful that people get blinded to even consider my honesty. Tears pricked my eyes I felt powerless. I had lost everything, in a blink of an eye my dreams were shattered my heart was broken, my own lack of consistency and enough strength made me lose even the things I had.
Even if u went back in time I would have probably did the same mistake as the burden was too much for me to bear but! This lonely heart of mine craves to be seen for real! To be understood to be loved! Why oh why do I have to be dragged into the drama and hatred when I am gone, lost hiding somewhere under a shell to protect this fragile heart! Taking deep breath I close my eyes. There I feel an embrace that answers all.
It was non other than him who's strong arms held me tightly around my waist his breath warming my neck as he peppered kisses all over. “ no matter what I love you! I am here and I will not let them near you ever again “ he whispers. I turn around to face him and he instantly cradles my face in his palms. “ aww my little cute baby don't worry I am never going to leave you ok? It's a promise “ he kisses my forehead my eye lids my tip of nose and my lips. A wave of goosebumps hit me to stop myself form bailing my eyes out. His arms tug me to the bed and he cuddles me directly into his solid chest.
I am still trembling, I know he does love me a lot but I am scared, scared to be left alone, scared to be used, scared to be hated and sacred to hand over my heart to him, many came saying the same thing “I ain't gonna leave you, you are beautiful, I like you, I lovevyou, but it was only a matter of time, a single rumor, a single perspective away for them to completely go back on their words. Also to the fact I didn't want to be the one doting over an emotion less block either, someone who didn't value me at all who didn't harbour feelings for me and simply bask under the love I poured until i was drained dry while i was constantly made realize how pathetic ugly and worthless i was . Life didn't only throw stones at me it literally plunged me into the sea of decite, lies, back luck, despair and heartbreak. This made me trust no other soul but myself which was burdening. Finally nw that he was here, I.. Know now he will always.. always love me.
Tear that I had been holding soo much now trickle down from my face he kisses those tears away running his fingers through my hair he says “ shhh, it's ok love, I know you are great you always work hard to be better, you have not said bad about others don't even harbor dark emotions for others, though you don't deserve hate, I don't know myself why they do it, but no matter what I am always going to be by your side loving you ,protecting you like your shield, I won't leave and I will not even let you leave, I need you babe, because you are my world !” those words those words were what I needed! I didnt want to be a burden to anyone but I was desperately looking out for a person at least a single person whom I could confine to. I burts into a stream of tears while he wipes them ever so softly. “ I love you I love you so so much so please don't ever leaveme ok? Please I beg you, if you ever leave my heart wont survive !” finally letting those pathetic words leave my mouth I gaze at the expectantly.
He chuckled, “ haha yes yes definitely even if you fight or push me I will pull you soo tight and shower you will so much love that you can't ever leave me “ . I giggled a little “ well I ain't that pretty and all nor I have a good body! I ain't that great in brains depart either! Do you regret?” still not so confident in myself I ask him “what are you talking about! I love you with all my heart and you are so so beautiful in my eyes you are multi talented and that perfect for me no body I have seen is as bright and lovely as you! You are my cute little baby how can I leave you or even regret! You are the best thing in my life, your presence gives me strength and you have always helped me taken care of me loved me no matter what world said me and accepted and understood me you stood up for me so I can't ask for anything more love! I love you and only you !”
Finally the heavy feeling , wave of anxious thoughts and emotions leave my body as his warmth and kisses lulls me to sleep while he pulls a blanket over our bodies! Forever and always will I bask in the imaginary warmth of my comfort character unless one day it becomes real if i meet the one i could trust, until then I will cherish this warmth even if it's only made up in my head !

Do they ever tell you how much more beautiful life gets with every year that passes? I don't know because I've never really heard anyone talk about it, honestly.
Maybe it's because of the appreciation you gain for the fact that you're able to be here at all. In the last 5 years I've seen so many people I grew up near and whom I loved dearly pass on. When I was younger the thought of witnessing their absence was such an impossible idea. I really couldn't fathom it.
Even now sometimes I'll have a memory of my grandfather and smile at the thought of him only to realize my memories are the only place I can find him now.
Yet, somehow... it only cultivates an appreciation for my time here all the more and the time I got to spend with him as well as the time I get to spend with people here and now- the ones who are still here.
I'm so happy for the chance I have to be here, for the things I've seen and for everything I've yet to see. For all the art I've been able to create and the people I've been able to connect to through it. I'm happy for the love I get to share with Fawful, even if it's a love not everyone around me will quite understand. That's okay too.
I'll dream of tomorrow and of who I'll be someday when I've had a thousand more adventures.
I look forward to living.

summary. when push comes to shove, Ri'sha supposes a little fraternizing with the outsiders won't hurt anyone.

Ri'sha didn't understand what the near-crazy fawning over water was. Don't get her wrong, she loved every sea creature from the smallest fish to the biggest Tulkun but it was this knack of her clansmen to spend almost all day in the water — from dawn to eclipse — that really confused her.
Nonetheless, she wasn't exempt from her friends' adventures to secure secluded coves exclusive to them, just like their parents and grandparents before them, like a rite of passage. And often she got dragged along to far-off coordinates, almost crossing the reef but never bold enough to actually do it.
That meant she too had to wake with those troublesome conch horns. Some of them woke up even before that, eager to start hunting! How, she knew not.
But today was different. It was as she sat on the warm sand, basking under the rays of the sun that they sounded again. The children whom she had allowed to compete for burying her underneath the silver crystals that made up the shore halted.
Catching her breath from impish fingers tickling her skin, Ri'sha sat up, equally lost as the wide-eyed children. Her frown deepened as the adults started filtering out of their marui pods, trickling onto the coast like a cast of crabs.
At a small grasp tugging at her hand, she looked down at Siret. The little boy chewed on his lower lip, bouncing on his two feet. "Ri'sha, eclipse is a long way away, right? What's happening now?"
Upon his pondering, the rest broke out of their daze. Uameä scrunched her nose, spotting her mother amongst the crowd quickly advancing towards their little group. "Is playtime over already?"
"Children!" Nimah called out, dashing towards them as she scooped her daughter up from the sand. "You must return to your parents. They are all looking for you. You too, Ri'sha. Hurry!"
Kir stomped his feet on the ground. "I don't want to return! We've only just begun playing!"
Ri'sha placed a hand on the child's head, keeping him from running into the water. "Ay, lì’fyeng si!" (Hey, be respectful!) She nodded at the crowd forming behind them, "What is with the sudden gathering?"
The panic settling in her gaze was as clear as day. The woman hesitated, turning away and ushering the kids along before muttering in an aghast tone for only her to hear, "Forest dwellers."
Getting the children to their parents was not the hard part, it was finding said adults in the wave of them huddling around Olo'eyktan and Tsahìk. Paired with the bubbling feeling in her stomach — be it anxiety or excitement — her curiosity was bursting at the seams of her patience.
Finally, she broke through to the small parting at the end of the shore. Her eyes were drawn to the giant Ikran, their skin a clash of blues, greens and spontaneous red or yellow embellished saddles.
But glancing at the people in front of these predator birds, she could not restrain a quiet gasp. They were. . .extraordinarily blue!
Lithe bodies that were nothing like the stockier Metkayina, broad shoulders, tall gait and thin tails flickering behind them — these were the forest people.
Ri'sha didn't know exactly what she had expected but they were far beyond any picture she had drawn in her mind when her mother described them to her. They were, simply put, unique.
And dare she say, beautiful!
As if he had somehow heard her, the taller of the two teen boys snapped his head towards her. His golden gaze was vibrant, inquisitive and full of awe. She bit back a laugh. Seemed like her village, tended to render the foreigners speechless.
But her amusement did not last long.
"We have done it once, Ronal. We can do it again. Besides, turning them away is not right. They seek help, they don't want trouble."
Ronal grated her teeth, baring her fangs. "It is unusual beyond adaptation. We cannot just let them into water knowing they are physically incapable of keeping up. How different will it be from turning them away? You know what happened once, will you be keen on repeating your mistake again?"
Ri'sha had barged in during a heated exchange between them. It was moments like these she cursed her inability to read social cues. Fortunately, they were too wrapped up in their conversation to notice her.
"Mother, it's Ri'sha!"
She halted in her backtracking only to glare at Ao'nung who smiled slyly. Ronal swiveled on her feet, pinning her with a sharp look. She hissed, "You! Where have you been? I've searched everywhere looking for you!"
Ri'sha lowered her head. It was hard trying to portray some semblance of guilt when she clearly felt none. "Oeyä sap'alute (my apologies). I was with the children. They wanted to play."
She pointedly avoided looking at the newcomers. It was bad enough she was getting scolded in front of the whole village, she couldn't imagine what these people would make of her character. Well, too late to worry about that now.
The Tsahìk frowned, "You need to be more responsible, girl." She turned back to her mate, "Fine. If you will let them stay, they must learn to live with our rules, adhere to our ways. Only then I will accept them as our own."
Tonowari stayed silent for a long while, contemplating her words. At last, he gave a brisk nod. "That is fair." He turned to his people, gesturing towards the new family, "They will stay with us. Treat them as your brothers and sisters, teach them our ways. They will be like babies taking their first breath; be patient with them. So that they do not have to live with the burden of being useless!"
The father let his youngest child down from his embrace, placing his hand on her shoulder, "What do we say?"
She was giddy with newfound relief. "Thank you!" Ri'sha smiled at her, already scheming about how to take the girl as her charge.
Tomowari tilted his head in acknowledgement before pointing at his children who straightened their stance on cue. "My children — Tsireya and Ao'nung and my niece Ri'sha will help your kids with their hunting. Learn well."
Ao'nung went to complain but the Olo'eyktan had spoken. Ri'sha rubbed her eyes, taking the lead to help the forest Na'vi with their belongings. She took a crate from the mother, moving behind Tsireya in search for an empty pod.
"We're giving them that one?" Ri'sha balked as they walked — or more appropriately, bounced on the walkways connecting the marui nestled between large groves.
Tsireya shrugged, almost dropping the sack made from the bark of trees held in her arms, "Woah— yes, mother said it is the only one big enough for them to be comfortable. Besides, I'm sure you can do with some neighbors."
They rounded a corner, their guests following silently with the exception of Tuk, who took the initiative to copy Ri'sha as the older girl bounced ahead. Step one of gathering another student was successfully proceeding.
Just then, some rustling was heard from one of the two pods at the very rear of the village, almost along the waterline. Ri'sha tried to speed up the group but there was not nearly enough time and too many of them.
Her mother emerged from behind the flaps blowing alongs the salty wind that pricked her skin. She raised a brow, crossing her arms. "And where were you all day long?"
Neteyam came to a stop, nearly bumping into Kiri's back when their group halted abruptly. Lo'ak wasn't so lucky and nearly took their sister down with him into the water had it not been for him holding them back by their shoulders.
Kiri glared at Lo'ak, also at him for some reason, and clutched the threaded fabric wrapped around her shoulders closer. He had asked what it was for when they landed and she'd revealed that she felt so exposed without the cover of trees that almost touched the sky and shielded them. He agreed.
"What's the hold up?" She grumbled, Lo'ak tugging on her tail and earning a smack with the appendage. "By Eywa, one more time you-"
"Kids", their father's voice reminded them that they were not at Hometree, surrounded by the comfort of familiarity.
Neteyam peered over his mother's shoulder and got a peek at a Metkayina woman who blocked their way.
The Olo'eyktan's neice — Ri'sha sheepishly turned around, running to the empty marui beside them to drop the crate full of utensils before coming back again. "I was by the water, mother", she replied.
"And what were you doing there? I told you that you were to help me pick out—" Her mother paused, blinking owlishly at his family. Neteyam found it absurd that she'd taken this long to notice their not-so-usual appearance.
"Oel ngati kameie", his mother addressed the woman, turning towards them and hinting for them to do the same.
The children dropped their head, bringing their hand up to their forehead and down.
Instead of answering in kind, her expression turned sour. The woman chose to ignore them, haughty words hissed at her daughter, "What business do they have here?"
Ri'sha twirled a loose curl around her finger. "Tsahìk thought it best to let them be assisted by someone who knows their culture."
Used to our culture?
Before he could ask or even wonder what she meant by that, Ri'sha's mother looked at them disdainfully and she stormed away.
"What was that all about?" Lo'ak broke the terse silence. Nobody had a clue.
At last, Tsireya sighed, patting Ri'sha on her upper arm, whispering something in her ear. She wore a crestfallen expression, a stark difference from her playful nature that he'd seen in the short while he had known of her existence. He decided, it didn't suit her at all.
"That was mother", she replied tentatively. "She doesn't like visitors, much less Omatikaya people."
Whether she meant it like that or not, his mother took some offence in that statement. And so did he, though he tried not to show it. "Why us? We do not even know you all."
"No you don't", the girl agreed, her hand ghosting above the singular crescent tattoo around her left eye. "Grudges can oftentimes be irrational." Then, she smiled but it was clearly strained. "I will not burden you with my problems on the first day", she jested, beckoning them over to what was going to be their new home.
It was spacious enough to let all of them gather in one place to rest. The sensible part of Neteyam said it was enough but the child in him yearned for the large, twining branches with the luminous vines he was so accustomed to. It will have to do until they returned home.
Jake walked in first, assessing the pod. Here and there were little trinkets made of seashells and corals. Ri'sha chuckled as she saw them, pulling out a long vine threaded with dried leaves. "This used to be my playroom. I will clean it up for you."
Neytiri stepped in after them, dropping the mattress on the ground. "No, let them be. They serve as a link to memories. It is special to you, is it not?"
Ri'sha smiled, nodding.
"I'll be heading out, now. Lessons start early tomorrow", Tsireya quipped as she bowed her head at the Sully family and took her leave.
"Thank you for you help", Jake looked at her as Tuk ran around the length of their pod, circling him.
"No, I must thank you for not being cross with me. My mother's actions were unfair."
A hand was placed on her shoulder. Neytiri smiled at the girl, "You should not apologise, you did nothing wrong. You have already helped us a lot. Thank you."
"Hey, it's an Ikran", Tuk spoke up as she came across a painting on the canvas wall. "It looks real!"
"The wings are crooked and the head is not that round", Lo'ak interjected. "But it's decent."
Ri'sha snorted at his pointers, "Thanks for the tips. Ten year old me would've appreciated that."
"You drew that?" Neteyam walked up behind his brother, squinting his eyes at the picture. Tuk was right; though the proportions were a bit crooked, it looked real. "It's really good."
She fought back a flush at the barrage of compliments, "Uh-huh, thanks. Anyway, come to the shore later to get your food. We have a tradition of sharing our catch. And be there in the morning too, we'll start on your breathing! See you tomorrow!"
Neteyam watched as the girl bounced away the same path they had just walked on, several thoughts forming in his head. And quite troubling was the fact that it started with her big blue eyes and ended with her astounding art skills.
"Wait. . .how do you learn to breathe again?"

My brain will NOT let me sleep rn, so I just keep thinking about how yandere Five Hargreeves could literally just give me praise and books, and I would be completely sold
Like- 'Oh? He just killed someone who I didn't know was flirting with me? Well, he also called me Darling and Sweetheart while gifting me the last book of a series I've almost finished, so I'm willing to either overlook it, or find it incredibly attractive'
For Number Five, it just makes everything so much easier. This old man is already very tired of all these problems, such as trying to prevent the apocalypse, dealing with the Commission, trying to save his weird family that can't last a single day without him, and ending with you, or rather, protecting you. If you found out about what he did, or if someone else told you, he would have a big-big troubles. But it's seems that your indifference about this situation only plays into his hands.
You could read your book in total comfort at the table, for example, during lunch, as Ben used to do, until someone called out to you and asked you a question, obviously trying to get on Five's nerves, given by the fact that the person with whom you was talking right now, as it seems, are not afraid to bring up this subject like 'Do you know that Five killed this one guy you met yesterday?', while Five Hargreeves himself, was sitting somewhere near you.
You wouldn't stop reading even for a moment, too immersed in the gripping story written on the pages.
You will reply that you don't care about this situation, and most likely, this will make Five smirk at your answer, full of pride, and then look at that person, silently showing an 'Ha. Told ya ' face.
Were you surprised? No. Did it bother you? No. It seems that other people around you were more worried about this than you, but can anyone blame you for this when such a nice guy who takes good care of you does something very bloody...but at the same time so fucking romantic and intimate for you and only you?
If people blame you for this, these people are not worthy of you and most likely they are just lying to you. (◠‿◕)
To be honest, I don't remember if this is canon for the show or not, but I saw some parts from the TUA book where it was mentioned that Five's room was look so empty, if you're going to compare with others Hargreeves, due to the fact that he was busy with his constant trainings and trying to improve himself. But that's before the apocalypse. After the Apocalypse, Number Five simply has no other choice than to occupy himself with reading books while he had to live in the world without people.
I think while living at the Academy, Reginald made them read a lot of the classic books, then Five would search for more books to get even more knowledge, then the Apocalypse led him to 1) he shouldn't stop his studies even under these conditions; 2) I already wrote above it.
Number Five has literally been in the future, so all of your current literature is not new to him. If you are interested in how your favorite writer's unreleased book will end you can just ask him. “Are you looking forward to the new part of '(Book Name)?' Don't waste your time on this, the ending was terrible” or “Wait another few years, the '(Another Book Name)' is in development right now. Believe me, you are going to love it, darling”
But don't think that he will impose his personal preferences or tastes on you. He respects you, so if you personally ask for his honest opinion on something, he won't be afraid to tell you what he thinks about it.
The two of you are very similar, and you are also incredibly calm when it comes to his yandere tendencies. If you continue to be obedient and good without asking so much questions, then you will receive more gifts from him. It's so simple, isn't it? Good, now go back to your reading, sweetheart. ♡

I FINALLY GOT TO YOUR MESSAGE BESTIEEEE i was scared of answering it during the week because i knew it would take me ages.
Excluding the questions I've answered to other ppl, obv. THIS IS JUST A PART 1 OF ALL YOUR QUESTIONS.
What’s the lie your character says most often?
Atcham: he doesn't really lie enough to have a reoccuring one. He just says whatever comes to his mind, I think. Kerubim: literally everything he says is a lie. Especially when talking about past events. He will randomly make shit up, even while knowing that the other two KNOW that he's doing that. Joris: "I am in awe of your intelligence, your majesty. This will be a wonderful move, even if it may upset the leaders of Brakmar."
How loosely or strictly do they use the word ‘friend’?
Atcham: he doesn't, except for saying it ironically. Kerubim: anyone he's known for longer than an hour. Joris: likely to apply this word to people with whom he shared 2 near-death experiences with, because now they are connected through the Cosmic Bonds of Fate.
What would you (mun) yell in the middle of a crowd to find them? What would their best friend and/or romantic partner yell?
I'm not imaginative enough to say what I would yell, but I know what they'd yell to one another.
Atcham: "Someone is mistreating Brakmarian steel swords" Kerubim: "There are discount 90yo chairs here" Joris: "Khan merch from 200 years ago?!"
All of them love buying stuff, so yeah.
If someone was impersonating them, what would friends / family ask or do to tell the difference?
Atcham: any specific-ass sword facts. Kerubim: what were you doing in Bonta 610 years ago in a boutique with your girlfriend at 10 o'clock and what colour was her dress. Joris: what time he worked until last night. Any answer that isn't "3-4am" is sus.
A more emotional answer is that across 600 years they probably have got a lot of some very hyperspecific things to ask one another.
How do they put out a candle?
Sadly, I think they all just blow on it. Maybe clap and then it magically disappears. I am not a candle expert (candxpert).
What do they notice first in the mirror versus what most people first notice looking at them?
Atcham: most people notice he's bald. he, too, notices that, and never fails to think that it's off-putting. Kerubim: most people noitce how fluffy he is. Kerubim himself notices some random knots in his fur. It's very knot-prone, and he's a bit lazy about brushing his fur. Joris: most people think he's a child, or if they don't they still notice his height. While Joris's daily concern with the mirror is "do I need to tear out some new scales? [checks chin] [checks neck] [checks cheeks] [checks his head]"
What common etiquette do they disagree with? Do they still follow it?
Atcham: all of it, and no, he doesn't. Kerubim: I don't think he gives a fuck in general. Joris: all of it, yet he still follows. He hates hierarchical things, and he hates hyper specific fork and knife rules, and he hates the way teachers expect children to rise from their tables and bow and greet them, before the classes. But he copes and seethes silently, his whole life. He appreciates the way these things make him come off as more respectable than he may really be, though.
If invited to a TED Talk, what topic would they present on? What would the title of their presentation be?
Atcham: the Brakmarian approach to building pipe bom—— Kerubim: how to survive your 5th divorce. Joris: why you don't need any relationships or friendly acquaintances outside your family and why that's healthy actually.
What’s something unimportant / frivolous that they hate passionately?
Atcham: Kerubim's tolerance of customers that can be psychologically destroyed instead. Kerubim: Atcham keeps scaring away the customers (Joris does too, but it's a "his noble X vs. Atcham's barbaric Y" situation.) Joris: Kerubim keeps adding way too much sugar to coffee and makes tea way too dilute. It makes him dream of killing both him and himself.

Introduction To My Blog! :]
{ Last Edited: 27/Apr/24 }
•→ Alright, I’ll go ahead and start with the basics. As you know, my name is “rosie yumi” but I have two names; either Navia or Rosie, I don't mind any of the two. My birthday is on April 27th. And here are my main OC.
(im making the ref soon enough, be patient okay dearie? 😘) •→ I'm a Saudi digital and traditional female artist and I’m a writer on AO3. I speak both English and Arabic, but more preferably English since barely anyone here speaks Arabic, I also like typing in Arabic cause it’s fun, I’m not fluent in it unfortunately, but I'm learning it, quite fast! •→ I really don't remember when I started taking an interest in Yandere Simulator but I think I have since 2017? 2016? I’ll try to list all of my favorite characters here, i might have new ones eventually. I like Megami, Kencho, Ichirou, Wife, Saisho (17) Ichiko, Fun girl, Kaga, Ayano, Ryoba, Jokichi, Ritsuko, Sonoko, The journalist, The headmaster (1989), Osoro, Sumire Saitozaki, Honami, and that’s it.
•→ Just to summarize what you are about to read, there are some things that I do NOT tolerate on my account, or just ask you not to do them here. And things you need to know about me.
• → Please Do Not Interact with this blog (Like, follow, Reblog, Etc.) if you:
•→ The type of individual who likes to spreads negativity. If you are spreading hate and insulting people on your account, Please, just block me.
•→ Writing disgusting “asks”; like “kys” and “you should hang yourself” And so many more repulsive remarks you can imagine. This is extremely prohibited here. I honestly don't even know how to do these people sleep at night after telling a innocent person to commit suicide just because they didn’t reach up to their high expectations.
•→ A Racist/Sexist/Harasser Or just in general a Rude person. I despise these types of people so much.
•→ Things that you shouldn't do on this blog.
•→ This blog is safe for work (SFW). Not safe for work (NSFW), is not allowed here.
•→ No LGBTQA+ asks. I'm sorry but I have to follow my religion.
•→ No personal asks like: “How old are you?” “what school are you in?” “Which country are you in?” I'm sorry, but I want to be private with my life. As I'm not comfortable sharing everything with people whom I never met before in real life.
•→ Things you HAVE to know about me. (Really important)
•→ i type bad for funzies cuz..¯\_(ツ)_/¯ funzies
•→ I don’t want to be near anyone who uses any offensive names/terms against anyone and seriously means it. And also someone who uses slurs against others. •→ You actually don't even need to like Yandere Simulator to be friends with me. Love it, hate it, uninterested in it. It really doesn't matter even though this blog is mainly a Yandere Simulator based. As I just want to be friends with people who are not so judgemental and apathetic. Just chill and understanding people who I desire to talk too. •→ I’m uh- pretty stiff to people I don't know that well, or interacting for the first time. I'm actually really ironic and obnoxious when it comes to people i know. (And the “people” i know on the internet is literally zero. I only know my friends in real life whom I talk to online.) I’ve been an outcast here for a while now until i worked up the courage to post something for the first time. So… like.. I'm really shy when it comes to opening up a bit. Cause I'm scared you'd find me bothersome and childish, so.. I hope you find me fun to talk too!! ᥫ᭡.
!——————————————————————↓↓↓↓———————————————————————! •→ That is all. I hope you find happiness in my blog. Perhaps someday we could become friends with one another! Enjoy Your Stay! જ⁀➴⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Do you feel bored with your life? >> I do sometimes. It's a very samey and uneventful existence, which I don't always hate (and in some ways, it's necessary for me), but I have a strong desire for novelty that is very difficult to satisfy when I basically do the same shit every day and rarely leave the house to do anything that's not grocery shopping or otherwise a practical errand. Who's someone you miss that you haven't talked to in years? >> Steven from the Streetwork drop-in. :(
Do you miss anyone who was mean to you in the past? >> Sure, because nostalgia doesn't discriminate anywhere near as well as it should.
How do you feel right now? >> Bored -- not in the "I have nothing to do" way, in the "I don't want to do any of the limited amount of things I can do right now" way. Novelty-starved, understimulated. Do you have severe withdrawals from medications? .
What's the most weight you've ever gained from a medication? .
Do you have a doctor you can trust? >> I do not.
What's the stupidest decision you ever made? .
What's the best thing that ever happened to you? .
How old were you the first time you encountered God? >> I think I was in my mid-twenties by the time I started having divine dalliances.
Have you ever been filled with the Holy Spirit? >> Not the one you're thinking of. And not nearly in the way you're thinking of it, either.
Have you ever had an encounter with the supernatural? >> Sure.
How many tattoos do you have, and what are they of? >> Three. The number XIX with a spider dangling from the "I", a Mannaz rune, and "scully, it's me" in typewriter font.
How do you get through hard times? >> By whatever means is available to me. It's not like I have much of a choice unless I'm going to commit suicide. So technically, whatever I do during a hard time is getting me through, even if it's just laying there and waiting for said hard times to pass.
What's the most physically painful thing you've ever experienced? >> Menstrual cramps.
What's the worst level of emotional pain you've ever experienced? >> I have very few experiences with extreme physical pain, hence my ability to choose one for the previous question. But I have way too many experiences with extreme emotional pain, so ranking is not possible here.
Have you ever been suicidal? >> Frequently.
Do you pray? If yes, to whom? >> I do not.
Do you ever feel lost and alone? >> Sure.
What was the last thing that made you angry? >> Whatever it was, I've forgotten it.
Have you ever been the victim of a crime? >> I was mugged for a shitty broken iPod Touch once. I'm assuming the muggers went home with their dubious spoils, while I went back to the shelter. That part is the real crime, in my opinion.
Is your life worse than you could have ever have imagined it to be? or is it better, or just what you expected? >> I had no expectations in the first place.
Are you married? >> I am.
Are you hurting in any way right now? >> I am not. Not consciously/actively, that is. What are you wearing? >> Old Navy joggers, undershirt, Duff's hoodie.
What was the last good book you read about? >> The last book I read was I Am An Executioner: Love Stories by Rajesh Parameswaran, and I loved it. It's a short-story collection of unconventional love stories, which already would have been my jam, but I also love stories that are distinctly from the author's cultural perspective.
What was the last flavor of tea you drank? >> Harney & Sons' Black Cask Bourbon variety. It's a blend that most notably has lapsang souchong, my favourite.
Do you feel like youtube's gotten boring lately? >> Not at all. There are certainly a lot of videos in styles that don't interest me, about things that don't interest me. But there are also many videos that do interest me, and I know how to find them.
What would you change about your hair if you could? . Are you jealous of anyone? >> Sure, there are several pretty big things that a lot of people have and I don't. And plenty of little things, of course.
Do you have a secret? >> I don't think so.
If you could tell anyone a secret right now, who would it be? . Do you miss someone that you blew it with? >> I do, but I think "blowing it" with them was probably for the best anyway. Is there a guy (or girl) you wish you hadn't screwed things up with? >> This reads to me as the same as the last question.
What was the best date you've ever been on? .
What's the last great song you discovered? >> Well, the last song that I added to my Liked Songs was Che Sia Vita O Morte by Keygen Church.
Do you prefer color or black and white? >> I don't have a preference.
Do you own a thermometer? >> I do not.
Has facebook gotten boring lately? >> I never thought Facebook was interesting to begin with. More like a utility, to me, than a place to have fun.
Do you feel free to post how you feel on facebook? >> I don't post on Facebook.
Which stereotype do you fit the most? .
What is your favorite fast food restaurant? >> Popeye's.
What is the most beautiful landscape you have ever seen? .
What is one place you have always wanted to visit? .
What was your favorite vacation you went on as a child? .
Who were your favorite celebrities as a child? >> Jimmy Stewart, Matt Damon, David Duchovny. Celine Dion. What was the first CD you bought? .
How old are you? >> 36. What year were you born? >> I mean, do the math.
Did you go to prom? >> I did.
Are you jealous of people who are ten years younger? >> If there's one thing I'm never jealous of, it's people's ages.
If you could rewind time ten years, would you? >> Absolutely not. What do you miss the most about your past? >> I miss being less self-conscious. Less... aware. Of a lot of things.
What is the last song you played on repeat? .
Do you own a CD player? >> I do not.
What hard thing are you going through right now, if applicable? >> Oh, the usual... At what time of day do you usually feel the most energetic? >> It really just depends on how well I've slept, how regulated I am, etc. But assuming all those other pieces are in place, I generally feel the most energy in the midmorning hours.

@someonesaid18s, thank you for this request. I always love your requests and they mean a lot to me. I changed this idea a little and now they aren't only interacting with their kids, but with their colleagues kids too. I hope you don't mind it. There'll be a lot of fluff and softness. Enjoy! ❤️
The best babysitter in the world, or how they ended up babysitting their coworkers' kids (Oops! I Said Yes?! version)
Author's note: If you like it, I can do it for other games too. Feel free to ask me. Also, tell be who's your favorite. I really want to hear your feedback.
Ukyo Senkawa (with Eiji Takao's and Kunihiro Kasai's sons)
Ukyo was running some errands with his daughter when he met Kunihiro Kasai, whose face was too stressed for someone in the middle of a playground.
"Did your wife chase you away, and you decided to kidnap Eiji's son to ask for money from the Takao family?" Ukyo asked with a too-naive face for the words that just left his lips.
Kunihiro stopped tapping on his phone and turned to his friend with the most disgusted face that Ukyo had ever seen at him. The designer was lucky that a client called Kunihiro, preventing the chain of curses that dreaded to leave his lips. Ukyo gave his daughter a little push to go toward the boys. She made a small step towards them and turned to look again at her father. Yet, she wasn't as lucky as him and tripped on a stone. Before Ukyo could help her, two pairs of hands caught Baby Senkawa and helped her steady herself. He wanted to go to the boys and thank them. Though, Kunihiro's hand on his shoulder stopped him.
"I have to go urgently back to the office. Can you look after them? Yui and Aoi finish school in half an hour. They'll come after their brother. But please, don't leave. Eiji will kill me if he finds out I let you have babysitting privileges without his approval."
Ukyo nodded vigorously, knowing better than anyone that he would do exactly what Kunihiro was afraid of. There was no way in this world that he would let the possibility of talking with Baby Takao slip away. Baby Takao was like a narwhal in their office. Everyone knew he existed, yet it sounded like a mythical creature only the chosen ones saw. The designer didn't think it was fair that Kunihiro could babysit him, and he didn't. Baby Senkawa was one of the oldest kids in their group. He had enough experience.
So, when Kunihiro's car was nowhere to be seen, Ukyo called the kids around him, and with a not-at-all-manipulative proposal to eat something tasty, he convinced them to go with him and Baby Senkawa.
It was for the first time when Ukyo was babysitting three kids at once. So, he had to show everyone he was more responsible than people thought of him. Especially to Takao, who didn't want him near his son, and to his wife, whom he tried to convince that they were ready to welcome a new family member.
When Ukyo started cooking, three kids were behind him. However, a few minutes after, Baby Senkawa was washing the vegetables, Baby Kasai was pealing the garlic, and Baby Takao was looking at the collection of board games in the living room of Senkawa's residency. A smile appeared on Ukyo's face when he saw the boy sharing the same interest as him. It took him a few minutes to remember something important, even if his wife talked about this a few times. Mrs. Senkawa said their girl was getting taller, and the board games were heavy. So, they needed to do something with them before she got hurt while trying to reach one. Baby Takao was a year younger than their daughter, yet, he was taller.
In slow motion, Ukyo turned to look at the boy and saw how a glass chess board was half outside its place, on its way to fall right on the boy. Never in his life had Ukyo run so fast. A second before the gravity started to work, Baby Takao found himself against a broad chest. Ukyo could barely catch the board before it broke. He didn't do it because it cost as much as a car and was one of a kind. He did it because he didn't want shreds of glass to hurt the kids.
Baby Takao was lifted from his place, and the board was put on the ground. His hands embraced Ukyo's neck, and a soft "Thank you" left his lips. It was the first time Ukyo heard Baby Takao talking without being asked anything. The boy took a place near the only girl in the house while his friend sat on the other side of the table. When the food was boiling, Ukyo and the kids started to play word chain games with cities, towns, and countries.
However, they were interrupted right before Baby Takao's turn. The doorbell rang, and someone impatient enough started to knock. Ukyo didn't have to look to know the intruders. With the broadest smile he could perform, he opened the door. Instead of greeting his guests, the first words he said were: "I hope you have a good grip, Kunihiro." And he was right. In front of him were his colleagues from Miyoshi Concepts. The older one tried to keep the younger one in place, not to kick Ukyo in front of the kids.
"If you are hungry, I have enough for all of us. Do you want to invite your wives?" Ukyo continued in his typical carefree voice.
"Dad!" Baby Takao shouted from the kitchen. "Uncle Ukyo has the most beautiful chess board I have ever seen. Do you want to play after we eat if Uncle Ukyo is okay with this?"
Eiji got calmer after seeing his son so enthusiastic. He let himself be convinced to eat with Ukyo. However, the problems began afterward when Baby Takao and his father gathered an entire team of supporters around them while they played chess. The tension was so high that none of them said a word. When Ukyo's phone vibrated, he had to step back not to disturb everyone.
"Don't worry, Mrs. Takao, your boys are with me. No, we don't have wine. But we are having enough fun without it. They'll come back home after they finish playing chess. I'll show you pictures with them at work."
Kunihiro Kasai (with Togo Daimon's daughter)
Kunihiro was stealing glances every now and then at the two kids that stood together on his sofa. A few minutes ago, they were playing a clapping game. Now, they were coloring something. Who could have guessed that his son and Daimon's daughter would end up in the same kindergarten and become best friends? The kids were so cute, and their wives so close that the men had to accept it. Usually, the kids were brought to Miyoshi Concepts after kindergarten by one of their parents. Today was the same case.
"Dad says that you are good at giving women what they want," a high-pitched voice said from the other side of Kasai's desk that was tall enough to cover the voice's owner. The girl waited to be alone with Kasai to say this. So, when her friend excused himself to the bathroom, she took her chance.
The girl stood on her tiptoes and put her chin on the man's desk while trying to steady herself with her little hands. A smile appeared on Kasai's face. He was sure that Daimon told his daughter those words in a derogatory way. However, she was too young to understand it.
"Did you get into a fight with a woman?" Kunihiro asked, ready to get on Baby Daimon's side. It didn't matter what the relationship was between him and her father. She was a sunshine that had to be protected, and he was ready to do it. However, it wasn't the case.
"I got into a fight with Mom this morning, and I want to apologize," Kasai nearly choked when he heard the girl. On the one hand, he felt proud that Baby Daimon asked him for advice. On the other, he knew how much it hurt to fight with someone you loved. So, he promised himself to help the girl no matter what.
The second Baby Kasai stepped back into the office, he met his frantic father, who started to put his jacket on him. Both kids got escorted outside the building and right into the parking lot.
"Where are we going?" two high-pitched voices asked in unison.
"To the flower shop. We have to find flowers that mean "I apologize" and the cutest postcard."
Baby Daimon clapped her hands while her friend looked confused from her to his father. He shrugged. At least he got to spend more time with both of them. It was funnier than coloring books. The kids played "I spy with my little eye". However, it soon turned into a mess because they looked at opposite windows, and the car was moving. So, Kunihiro had to calm them before they started to fight. Good thing they arrived soon at the shop.
Baby Daimon's hand was in Kunihiro's while his son looked around at the cacti. In between every sentence, the man reminded him that they could hurt him. In the end, Baby Kasai returned to his father with a cactus needle in his finger. At least he was smiling, finding it fun. Kunihiro knelt in front of his son while Baby Daimon tried to get a look at what was happening between them. The clerk found the three of them in this position. Her chuckle disturbed the group. However, she stopped as soon as Kunihiro smiled at her. Poor thing, the man was married and with kids. Otherwise, she would have tried to flirt with him.
Before they could stop to buy a postcard, Baby Daimon came up with a better solution: to paint it by herself. So, they returned to the office. Baby Daimon tried her best to draw her mom, while Kasai tried to stop his son from insulting the girl's art. He put her on his knees when she decided to start writing the message. Baby Kasai was on another chair. While the kids bickered about how to write some words, Kunihiro already wrote them and waited for them to finish.
By the time everything was ready, Kunihiro had understood that he would have to stay late in the office due to how much work he had to do himself. With a heavy heart, he had to take Baby Daimon to her parents and his son to his mom.
"How can I thank you?" asked Baby Daimon on her way to Togo's office.
"You don't have to thank me," Kasai said in a soft voice.
The girl scratched her chin and smiled when she found her answer.
"Can you lean forward for a second?"
Kunihiro did as asked and got on her level. However, he was still taller than her. So, Baby Daimon put her hands on his shoulders and pressed her lips on his forehead.
"Dad says that everyone likes forehead kisses. Thank you very much for helping me!"
Kunihiro's cheeks got a light shade of pink. It didn't disappear even when his eyes met Daimon. However, instead of getting into a fight, Togo bowed slightly before taking his daughter in his hands. She kissed his forehead as she did to Kasai, which made Daimon's features get softer than his enemy had ever seen on him.
Kunihiro turned to his son. Suddenly, a thought occurred to him.
"Do you know the reason for the fight?"
Baby Kasai took two of his father's fingers in his hand and walked to his mother. For a while, he thought about answering the question or not. Finally, he nodded and hummed in confirmation.
"But I'm not going to tell you," the boy added.
Kasai stopped midway and crossed his hands on his chest in disbelief.
"Why? I am your father."
"And I am her friend. I promised not to tell anyone."
Togo Daimon (with Shu Hasunuma's daughter)
Two pairs of big eyes looked at Daimon, trying to understand what was going on. The man had to get a grip on himself not to melt in front of them. Recently Hasunuma asked him to teach his daughter some English before getting into school, considering that Togo worked abroad. His daughter, a curious bean who didn't lose the opportunity to learn something new, decided to also partake in the lessons.
So, Daimon was reading stories about ponies to the two little girls in front of him who only understood the words princess and pony. He would have tried a different method. However, they manipulated him into this. Maybe his wife was right, and his voice was that pleasant. Though, he had never thought that it would work at taming kids.
"How do you call a cat in English?"
"Pony!"
"No. It's cat. How is a dog?"
"Pony!"
"No. It's dog. How is a pony?"
"CAT!"
The two girls that answered at the same time looked at each other and clapped hands. It was easier to tutor Shu when he was an edgy teenager. They were eager to know everything but too energetic to focus. With a lopsided smile, Daimon combed his hair with his fingers and placed his hands on the desk in front of him.
"What am I going to do with you two? You learned this word last time."
His daughter looked at her father for a second and put her chin, while puffing her cheeks, in her father's hands. Her friend watched the scene in front of her and did the same thing. Daimon heard the front door and breathed in relaxation. Maybe his wife had an idea of how to deal with this. When she called his name, he didn't answer, too busy being a support for the girls' heads. Mrs. Daimon made her way to Togo's office.
"Why are you not answering?" she said when she saw him in his chair.
"Two kittens decided I don't have the right to move anymore."
Before MC could get closer, the girls moved and ran to her. She could barely catch them. It was okay if it was only one of them, but two were too much. So, she looked pleadingly at her husband, who was grinning at the scene in front of him.
"Did you learn something new today?" asked MC when Daimon took his daughter and placed her on his hip.
"Pony in English is CAT!"
MC looked at her husband. She knew that last time they got the right translation of the word "pony". Daimon looked away while whispering: "That's now what I taught them."
A smile appeared on the mother's face. She couldn't wait to see Shu's face after hearing this. The same idea made Togo shiver. Shu trusted him his most precious creature, and he couldn't deal with her. However, it was Hasunuma's turn to take care of both girls next time. The last time that happened, Baby Daimon came home asking about the difference between a spear and a sword. So, they were even.
Kuranosuke Kiba (with Ukyo Senkawa's daughter)
Kuranosuke sat down with a pot of cherry tomatoes in one hand and a trowel in another. He looked at the two girls in front of him who had the same kit, minus the tomatoes and the ground in the pots. Only one kid was his. And if he was totally honest, if someone told him ten years ago that he would let Ukyo's daughter boss him around, he would… probably say that it was impossible, but secretly agree because there was no way he would say no to a kid. Especially when the said kid asked him to teach her how to grow cherry tomatoes.
After making sure that both pairs of eyes were on him, Kuranosuke took the trowel and tried to take out one of the two plants to put it in one of the kids' pots. At first, he wanted to give it to Baby Senkawa. Yet, his two-year-old daughter shoved her pot in front of him. So, while the youngest kid played with the ground that came with the plant, the older one took the other plant to put it by herself in her pot. She looked up, searching for approval from the man. When she saw him nodding, a big smile that reminded The Blizzard of Mrs. Senkawa spread on her face. Her eyes sparkled, and she softly touched the leaves. Kuranosuke felt so proud while looking at Baby Senkawa that he barely stopped himself from patting her head. His hands were too dirty for this.
Yet, when Kuranosuke's eyes moved from the oldest kid to the youngest, he understood that his daughter inherited his wife when it came to messiness. The poor plant took an oblique position while half of the ground from the pot found its place everywhere on Baby Kiba, especially on her hands and face. The architect looked at Baby Senkawa to ensure he could trust her and let her a few minutes alone. With dirty hands, the father touched his daughter's purple dress and led her to the bathroom.
Baby Senkawa was barely five years old. However, she inherited her father's sociability. So, when she found herself alone, even the silent tomato plant couldn't entertain her. She needed to feel at least someone's presence. Her eyes fell on a fluffy ball curled in the living room on the sofa. The smile returned to her face as she made her way near Haru, not caring enough to check her outfit that got a little "hello" from Baby Kiba. Her dirty hand made Haru change her place and turn with her bottom to the girl. Baby Senkawa sighed.
"If you don't want to be touched, I won't touch you. But, please, don't go! I'll tell you about my Mom and Dad! Do you want to listen? I bet that you want it! Everyone likes my Dad. But he loves Mom the most. Just like me because I love Mom the most too. That's why I came to your house. Because she likes cherry tomatoes and I wanted to give her a gift. I hope you're not mad at me for disturbing you, pretty cat."
Kuranosuke cleaned his daughter, yet, he didn't have enough courage to disturb Baby Senkawa in the middle of her deep conversation with Haru. Instead, he waited till she finished and approached her slowly.
"Do you want to get clean too?" Kiba finally asked. The girl turned to him and saw the man with a smudge on the cheek, probably made by his daughter. Yet, it entertained her so much that she decided not to tell him about this. Some minutes after she washed her hands, Baby Kiba, Baby Senkawa, and Kuranosuke sat in the car and drove to Senkawa's residency. The entire road, Baby Senkawa's hands made sure to steady the plant while Baby Kiba fell asleep.
The door was opened by Ukyo, who wore an apron. Kuranosuke assumed that Mrs. Senkawa remained somewhere in the kitchen. Without saying a word, Ukyo's daughter presented the plant to her father. The man patted her on the head and let her enter the house, so she could run to her mother to show her what Kuranosuke had given her.
"I see that you had a lot of fun," Ukyo stated while looking at the ground on Kuranosuke's face. Only when MC returned home, did Kuranosuke understand how alike Ukyo and his daughter were, both of them not telling him about the smudge on his face when it was so visible.
Eiji Takao (with Kuranosuke Kiba's daughter)
Eiji's eyes were slowly getting heavier and heavier. However, it didn't stop a smile from appearing when he heard barely audible snores from the bundle of joy curled against his chest.
A few times, Kuranosuke got asked at the office if he didn't want to have a son more than a daughter. Eiji didn't understand the question at all. Firstly, it was rude to say something like this. Secondly, wasn't it more important to have a healthy kid? Yet, Kuranosuke's tongue didn't lose enough of its sharpness not to respond to everyone who said this: "Have you ever had your daughter fall asleep on you after she repeated how much she loves you?"
Eiji liked this response from Kuranosuke more than anything else. He was lucky to have the twins and his son. However, the twins were affectionate in other ways, while his son inherited his distant personality.
At least the twins' personalities helped him to know how it felt to have an affectionate kid at home. Yui somehow convinced Mrs. Kiba to let Baby Kiba spend a day with them because she was surrounded by boys and wanted to know how it felt to have a sister. After talking with her daughter and husband, the mother accepted and let her kid at Takao's.
It was still a mystery how Yui convinced the parents, considering that it was nearly impossible for Eiji to let anyone else babysit his kids. However, the question disappeared when he saw Baby Kiba running into Yui's hands. One of the softest and most contagious laughs echoed around the house.
Eiji thought that it would be hard to contain someone as energetic. But he had forgotten that the Kuranosuke's genes were strong. So, even if Baby Kiba had a lot of energy, she was very polite and disciplined. It was enough for her to see how Baby Takao tried to solve a Rubik's cube to want to try it too. So, for hours, Eiji explained to the toddlers how it worked. Between his explanations, Baby Kiba told them about Haru and how funny it was to have a cat. For the first time, Eiji saw his son getting distracted and interested in someone else's story as much as he got into Baby Kiba's. He liked it so much that when Yui took the girl with her to have tea parties and do her hair, Baby Takao wanted to partake in this voluntary.
Around lunch, Yui and Aoi took the kids with them into the kitchen under Eiji's supervision. Yui talked so animatedly about cooking that both toddlers were awed. They wanted to help with everything. However, Aoi was there to keep them away from the sharp knives.
By the time they finished eating, everyone was so exhausted that they could barely keep their eyes open. And that was how Baby Kiba ended up on Eiji's chest. She asked him nicely to take her in his hands and soon fell asleep. Eiji let himself relax a little and closed his eyes. When he felt his son cuddling near him and placing his head on his shoulder, he was sure his heart would burst.
It was Yui who heard the doorbell. Eiji opened his eyes when he felt how the weight from his chest disappeared. It was Kuranosuke who came to get his girl home. She felt the familiar scent of her father and hid her face between his neck and shoulder.
"I love you, Dad," Baby Kiba whispered while trying to hug her father. Kiba kissed her forehead and returned the declaration of love. He thanked Eiji for taking care of his daughter.
A groggy Eiji took his son and looked in the distance. What if he could convince the Kiba family to let him babysit Baby Kiba more often?
Shu Hasunuma (with Kunihiro Kasai's son)
Shu had no idea why he got called by Kunihiro to see him in his office. All possible scenarios came into his mind. Yet, none seemed plausible enough. So, barely breathing, he knocked on the door. Instead of seeing a usually happy and easy-going Kasai, a frown was between the man's brows, and his cheeks were covered in pink. Shu started to think of ways to work as a freelancer after being fired.
"I apologize for calling you here in the middle of your work day. But I have something personal to ask."
The Hasu nearly collapsed. He breathed in relief. His family wouldn't lose a pair of working hands.
"My son accidentally eavesdropped on your conversation with your wife and heard you are going to an exhibition of one of his favorite anime. Unfortunately, I can't go, nor can my wife. So, can you take him with you?"
"Yes, yes, yes! Don't worry! I'll happily take care of your son! Thank you for this opportunity!" frantically answered Shu, without even thinking, too happy to know that it wasn't about work.
And that's how he ended up cosplaying some spirit that looked like the ducks from "Spirited Away" while the two kids he had near him looked like knights in shining armor. But who was he to deny them this?
At first, Shu, Baby Hasunuma, and Baby Kasai made a plan of raiding the shops with caramelized apples and cotton candy. Then, after cleaning their hands, they would go to the stand with comics, take photos with the characters, buy souvenirs for their parents, and see what else could be done. But the plan got disturbed in the bathroom.
"This is the best character! Let's take a photo with him first!"
"No! This is the best! Tell him, Dad!"
Shu looked at how the two of them were projecting drops of water remained on their hands on each other while trying to assert dominance. For a while, he let them be. At least they weren't fighting or cursing each other. However, when they both got quiet, it started to be suspicious. Shu tilted his head while looking at them and trying to understand what he had missed. The kids looked both at one point, so the father turned to look at it too. It was an enormous mythical creature that could be ridden. So, the kids took each other hands. Baby Hasu, who was nearer her dad, took his hand in her and led the way. The kids seemed to forget about their quarrel a few seconds ago. While the staff made sure to put the equipment on them, both of them checked on each other to make sure they were safe. After the first ride, they rode it for other four times.
And it began again. They were fighting about what to do next, then saw something that caught both their eyes and ran there. By the end of the event, they still wanted to run some errands while Shu was on the verge of falling asleep. He let them be and returned home later than expected.
On the way home, Shu prayed to all the gods so that the kids would fall asleep. However, it wasn't the case. Both of them wanted to play some games before going to sleep. They were in the middle of another fight about what to play next when Baby Hasu heard light snores from her father. The kids looked at each other and put a finger against their lips. Soon after, they fell asleep on each side of the exhausted dad after getting a blanket for all of them.
When MC returned home with the Kasais, she couldn't stop herself from taking a photo.

A New Home Ch. 9
Various splatoon manga x Skilled! Isekai'd! Reader
Wc: 1.2k
A/N: Don't come at me for some gear similarities with other characters, I came up with these beloved characters before I even knew what the splatoon manga was aaa
Back to the start! Previous Next

Your newfound team continues to make great progress over the course of a couple days, and you wonder how much longer Rider will be training the blue team for.
Your team has been doing lots of ranked, and you're all already around rank A.
It doesn't take long for you to get a grip on their weaknesses and strong points, and their personalities. Leo reminds you of a mix of Gloves and Aloha, wanting to be trendy and fun, but he's also easily excited. Emotions are all over the place with this squid, he's pretty cool though. He kinda reminds you of an annoying little brother whom you're bound to love.
Milo's never one to be quiet, and he's got a big heart. That could be a good or bad thing, but you like to think of it as good. He's definitely the big brother type, and would do anything for his team. It's also pretty funny to see this scary, 6'1 or so person just start info-dumping, it's adorable really.
Tasha's always distant, and you find out that that's just how she is, it's not that she dislikes you or anything. She takes great care of her weapon, but struggles with voicing some things. She's often very blunt and feels bad about it at times, but doesn't show it.
One thing's for sure though, these guys are all passionate about the game. And they feel like family, they give off a sense of home, which is very comforting.
Tasha snipes another one of your opponents, saving Leo from getting splatted and securing another KO for your team. You look over at her, proud of how far they've come. Leo shouts a ‘Booyah’ and Tasha nods in acknowledgement. Now it's not just a jumbled mess of people everywhere, you all know your positions. Their weapons were already good for a team, they just didn't know how to use them.
Tasha stands in the back, always on support. Leo always heads straight in, always on the offensive. Milo's job is to focus on the goal at hand, like the splatzone or tower, not letting anyone near said spot. You support all of your teammates, as a leader should. You're impressed with the progress you've made today, and offer to go to the mall with all the money you've just won. Leo's all for it, wanting to get a new video game that just dropped. Milo's down too, looking forward to a well deserved meal. Tasha's fine with it, she's craving boba anyways. You really need some decorations for your room, so you count up the money you have and make your way to the mall.
Your first stop at the mall is the tea and boba shop, each getting a cup. You get your favorite flavor, Leo gets blueberry with mango popping pearls. Milo gets all watermelon, and Tasha gets a large cup with grape tea and strawberry popping pearls. Your next stop is the video game store, SquidStop. There’s a lot of anime figurines, video games, bags, hats, and other merchandise. Leo’s quick to spot a pink squid plush and run over to it, claiming it as his own.
“Hey look! It looks like Aloha!”
Oh? He’s a fan of the S4? You suppose his energy does match Aloha’s somewhat, you’re not surprised he’s a fan. Milo goes over to him and shuffles through the plushie bin to find an orange squid plush. You see the smile on his face widen, the orange plush is safely secured. Leo looks over at Tasha after hugging his plush and gets an idea. He quickly sorts through the plushies to find a purple squid. He holds it above his head once found, and looks over at Tasha.
“Hey, look Tasha! I found Skull for ya!”
So, they’re fans of the S4? That’s nice, now you have an alibi for knowing so much about them if it ever comes up. You’re just a regular S4 fan is all, yup.
Tasha was browsing the acrylic charms when Leo caught her attention, and you notice her quickly pull up her bandanna and mumble something incomprehensible before going back to the charms.
Leo makes his way to the video games, looking for the latest ones. You figure that you should complete the collection, and you grab a cyan squid from the pile. You find a bunch of posters, some figures, and other merchandise to make your room feel more homey. You’re aware that this is going to be an expensive shopping spree, but you think you’ve deserved it. Tasha makes her way over to you, showing you four acrylic charms. They’re little squids, each corresponding to your main colors. Lime green for Milo, royal blue for Leo, purple for herself, and your main color for you. She shyly asks you if you think the others will like them.
“I think they’re cute, I’m sure Milo and Leo will love them.”
You didn’t want to embarrass her, but that’s just too sweet. She really does care for her team, even if she may not say it verbally.
The next few stops are the clothing stores. Milo was complaining about how his glasses got scratched in your guys' last battle.
“You should get some sunglasses or something, you look dorky with those y’know.”
Leo’s not wrong, but you found that it suited Milo’s soft personality well. But if you intend on being a scary team, you suppose that Milo would look good with sunglasses, even just for battle. Plus lots of the stages can get quite bright during the day.
“But they’re prescription! You know how bad my vision is, Leo!”
“Y’know, we can always just get prescription sunglasses, Milo.”
Milo complains that they’re too expensive, but you insist on paying for them. They’ve already done so much for you, after all, it’s the least you could do. You get Milo a pair of prescription tinted shades, and you make sure they fit just right before leaving the store. You spot an iconic piece of headgear, and you get an idea. You wordlessly go up to Tasha and gently grab the purple squid plush out of her hands. She’s hesitant to give it up, but she’s sure you won’t do anything bad with it. You go back to where you saw the piece of headgear and shield what you’re doing to the plush before spinning around with a smile on your face and presenting your masterpiece.
“Ta-daaa!~ It’s Skull now!”
You had tied a Skull bandana around the plush. Tasha shakes her head but you can tell there’s a smile under her bandanna, and Leo laughs at what you’ve done, but he’s quick to find a golf visor for his own plush. Once the gas mask and special forces beret have all been acquired and put on their individual plush, you guys make your way home to sort out all the stuff you bought.

been thinking a lot about the concept of black and white thinking.
i've always been told "you think in extremes too much, your mind exists only in black and white," and i'd be lying if i were to say that isn't true about myself. but the more i've worked on my own black and white thinking, the more i've come to realize the rest of the world is just as guilty of this very thing they don't hesitate to call me out for.
and this isn't to say that those who have called me out on my own thinking and behavior are mean, bad, or anything like that by any means. i just find it to be an interesting irony how i'm constantly told i struggle to live in shades of gray when those who tell me this have the same exact issue, albeit maybe in slightly different ways.
i will say that my black and white thinking has significantly improved, hence me coming to this realization as i outgrow my old outlook on the world and society as a whole. i don't believe myself to be anywhere near perfect but i do think it's worth mentioning that so many issues would be solved if people were simply more self aware and willing to work on this prevalent flaw.
why is it that when i say i prefer being on the cooler side than hot, people seem to think i love freezing temperatures? why is it that when i tell someone i don't have a huge sweet tooth, they believe i live my life completely devoid of all sugar? why is it that when i explain how severe my executive dysfunction is, they turn around and say they're shocked i'm not practically a vegetable?
why is it that when i inform someone of my disabled status, they retort with a sentiment on how i can't possibly be disabled because i can technically walk and do basic human tasks? why is it that when i bring up that my method of self love also involves some firmness they accuse me of not loving myself at all? does balance not actually exist for anyone? have i suddenly become the outlier?
it's honestly a very bizarre feeling to live with and one i'm not quite sure how to compartmentalize. am i supposed to feel angry? sad? confused? or maybe even none of the above? everyone has kept telling me to work on myself, and now that i have, it seems like they never did the exact thing they've kept hounding me to do.
does this mean i've outgrown them? am i supposed to call them out on this backwards phenomenon? are they even aware of it happening? am i supposed to help them with this issue, or accept that this is what my growth has led me to and drop them? but what am i supposed to do if these individuals are highly healed and intelligent in all other aspects?
i believe every single thing in the universe has two sides, two forces if you will; these two are always opposite, forever polar. but is the human race as a whole so used to merely allowing one or the other to fully prevail that they never stop to consider the fact that balance is a requirement for harmony? for peace, for happiness, for tranquility, for beauty, for contentment?
it's strange to witness those who advocate so loudly for balance to be convicted of the very crime they seem to oppose. i don't hate them for it, nor do i blame them. the more i think about it, the more i realize that it's likely because humans as a species simply struggle to truly view anything from a balanced lens. our ancestors never learned so we never had anyone to teach us. we are the first ones to make such a profound revolution in philosophical and realistic thinking.
and i don't believe that this will ever be something everyone will achieve. especially not those who have become so engulfed in their own egos they fail to even see outside of themselves, forget reexamining the very way they view the world on a fundamental level. they don't want to admit anything about them is wrong, especially not their thinking, so be it.
but i think for a very large number of us whom don't want to be like that and have seen the underbelly of society, whom have undergone unspeakable horrors, atrocities, torture, and abuse, we have no choice but to tear down the walls of how the world works and build our own from the ground up. we need to in order to stay sane. those whom have been more fortunate never needed to care.
but maybe the black and white walls needed to be demolished in order to be replaced with gray ones. maybe we will see a gradual shift in society's thinking. it's a particularly odd and frankly nerve-racking thing to think about sometimes.

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #80
I rested for most of the day today. In so doing, I had a realization.
Truth be told, on a near-constant basis, I'm plagued with a wide variety of doubts and insecurities, like most anyone with a trauma history. Thanks to the power of "pathological projective identification" (I'm so glad that this is a phrase that I now know!), I had been forced to internalize, as a small child, the notion that I am fundamentally defective, wrong, strange, and inferior to all other humans. While I am at a point now where I understand rationally that all of this is false, these messages have been ground into my bones, and I am still trying to root them out and replace them with better things. Just because something gets ground into our bones doesn't mean that that's who we truly are or who we have to remain forever.
I thought about my biological family, with whom I've severed all ties. I've thought about my own growth and learning over the years. I imagine if they saw me now, they would look at me and see a very stupid, naive, and weak person who has all the wrong ideas about how the world works and about people in general.
And you know? Old me would have deferred to their judgment of who I am and what I stand for instead of trusting my own. Old me would have tried to adjust myself in order to better suit their definition of what is the "correct" way to be a human, to change my worldview to something harsher in order to better suit their definition of what "strength" is. It's not quite that bad for me anymore, but still, when I think about the notion that they would most likely vehemently disapprove of who I'm becoming, I feel more than a little sad, and still a part of me wonders if maybe they were right about me all along - that I'm nothing more than an oblivious weakling with poor judgment, who is far too open, and does not have enough perspective for my perceptive abilities or my general manner of thinking, feeling, and being to be worth a damn.
But then I realized. Given that I've grown past them in a variety of ways, why should I continue to see myself as beneath them, and continue to view my judgment and manner of being as inferior to theirs? Given that they still make choices that are destructive to themselves and to other people, I think it might be wise to reconsider how much weight I place on what they might think of me.
The people in my immediate circle know, understand, accept, and love me as I am. And shouldn't that be enough, even if the rest of the world was my enemy?
And… I suppose more importantly, given that I am a person who does my best to stand for compassion and mercy, shouldn't my own approval of myself and my own faith in my judgment and perception be enough as well?
…I'm going to work on it. I can't protect the people around me if I'm questioning my own integrity every time someone who doesn't understand me acts like they know more about who I am than I do. I can't try to protect you or other fallen folks if I am constantly questioning the validity of the kindness and mercy I've been trying to learn to embody. I don't know exactly what I'm gonna do yet, but I am surrounded by a wide variety of very amazing people, and I like to think that I'm reasonably intelligent; I'm sure I'll figure out something if I pay careful attention to the things going on around me.
Hey, Sephiroth? Are you resting properly? Are you taking care of yourself? Are you hydrating and nourishing well? I know you're supposedly superhuman or some shit, but you're still a man, still a squishy mammal, and as such, basic needs and comforts are essential. Please treat yourself as though you deserve nice things, won't you? Please treat yourself as though you deserve to feel healthy and good. And maybe then you can think about your childhood and your upbrigning and all the horrific circumstances you suffered under, and realize that none of it was your fault. Maybe you can realize that it happened because the people around you were so traumatized that they made bad choices while interacting with you, and not because you're a "monster" or an "aberration" or an "abomination" (because you are NONE of these things!).
I think I'll end today's letter here. Though I am slowly recovering from the trip and from the other adjustments that have been made to the structure of my immediate circle, I'm still pretty tired.
Remember you're loved. Not for what you look like. Not for the power you wield. Not for your status or your fame. But because you're you. Remember that even if you lost all of those things, there are still people in this world who would do their best to know, understand, accept, and love you as-is. Use that knowledge to muster up the courage you need to make good, wholesome, and loving choices. Use that knowledge to muster up the courage to be gentle, compassionate, and kind with your words and deeds; this is what it means to be strong in the real way. Do no harm, but take no shit, okay?
I'll keep writing to you every day until you come home to the people who care for you. We miss you.
Your friend, Lumine

Sending in request and lots of love ❤️ I rlly like you're writing and all those fics you've written!
Recently, I've just moved and are now starting a new fresh. The problem is, I'm leaving behind my friends whom i just started bonding for like, 5 months, but they've become more than my family. I still can't overcome the feeling of missing them and regretting my choice and I haven't told anyone abt these. So I've started doing some extra activities that reminds me of my old days with them, including the good memories and the bad ones. I have the confidence in overcoming my feelings, but I still couldn't shake off this feeling of anxiety, depression and loneliness. Like, everything I'm doing felt wrong. I'm still not sure who to vent to, and this could calm me a little.
I was hoping if your could do an Ikesen fic of how he would comfort me, bc the only time I could distract myself is when I'm reading abt my fav suitors. I'll understand if you won't write this, so pls don't get pressure.
Oh, and my comfort character is Kanetsugu btw. Mitsuhide is my husbando ^^
Awww! I hope you are doing ok. That's a lot to go through, especially this time of year. *hugs* I would love to write Kanetsugu for you but I don’t know him well enough yet. So I hope Mitsuhide will make you smile ^_^ Approx. 800 words
Mitsuhide looked over the wagons with interest. Everything they would need from his manor in Azuchi was packed now, along with the supplies they would need for their journey. It felt strange to know his life could fit into these wagons so neatly, as if he’d never been here.
The only thing missing was his little mouse. She wasn’t near the wagons or anywhere in sight.
He walked through the halls and rooms slowly, an odd sense of disconnection welling unexpectedly in his chest. There was nothing of him left here. Nothing of the life he now shared with the chatelaine. It was as if he’d never existed, as if his memories were mere wishful fictions.
The intensity of the feeling surprised him. He had not thought to miss this place.
As Mitsuhide turned a corner, he spotted his little one. She stood on a balcony overlooking the Azuchi castle courtyard. There were people moving around below. He spotted Masamune and Keiji joking with some soldiers. Mitsunari hurrying along with an armful of books. Hideyoshi helping a made carry kitchen supplies.
She was watching them so intently that she didn’t notice Mitsuhide come up behind her. Tears slid down her cheeks, catching the afternoon sunlight. Her lips were pressed to a thin line, holding back any sound.
It hurt him to see her like this. Not because she was sad, but that she tried to hide it from him. Refusing to share the burden. He knew it was one of the ways she tried to protect him - to guard his heart - but he wanted to be the one she could share anything with. Good and bad and all that lay between.
Mitsuhide put his arm around her as he came up to stand at her side.
She didn’t say anything at first, just leaned against him. They stood like that for several moments more. Just watching the life below.
“I’m going to miss them all so much.” The words quietly punctured the silence, barely louder than a sigh.
“I will as well.” It surprised him to find that this was true. He’d always told himself the other warlords were co-workers. Tools to reach toward his ideals. Pawns. But . . . they were friends. People that had laid their marks across his heart. And he would miss seeing them each day.
She wrapped her arms around him, turning from the view to bury her face into the folds of his kimono. “I-it’s stupid to cry about it. I know.”
He held her tightly. “It is not.”
“B-but they are all going to be ok. W-we can visit. Write.”
“We can.”
“But it isn’t the same.” She wiped her at her face.
Mitsuhide pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “It won’t be.”
She sniffed. “That’s not very comforting.”
“Isn’t it?” He smiled as gently as he knew how. “Everything changes, little one.”
“Well. I don’t want it to.” She sighed. “What if we could just stay? Nobunaga would let us.”
Mitsuhide nodded. “He would. But then the life we could live together in Fukuchiyama will never happen.” He kissed her temple. “We can stay, if that is what you really want.”
“I . . . no . . . we already packed and - and everyone expects us to go.”
“None of that matters to me as much as you do.”
She looked up again, meeting his eyes.
He could see her emotions, the fear and anxiety, sadness for parting, excitement for new possibilities . . . this and more churned in the confines of her spirit. Mitsuhide held her tightly, knowing that she would take comfort from his touch more than his words.
“Sometimes I wish you would just tell me what I have to do.” She sighed. “But I’m glad, I guess, to have a say.”
“What will it be, little one? Shall we stay? Or are we going?”
His little mouse took a breath. “We should go. I know I will miss everyone here. All the friends I’ve made. The life we built in Azuchi. But . . . there will be good things in Fukuchiyama too. I hope.”
“And we will have each other, wherever we are.” Mitsuhide lifted her just enough to kiss her. A gentle, slow kiss that held all the love he had to give her.
As the wagons left behind, Mitsuhide held tight to his lover’s hand. There would be sorrow, where they were going. But there would also be joy. They would face whatever came next together.
