Tumblr deactivated my account but I am back. And I brought you some chaos.
Now, hear me out. Danny Phantom x Frozen crossover.
Just Danny being somehow teleported to Frozen world and meeting Elsa. They bond over royalty problems and ice powers (and their initial struggles with controlling their powers), and Danny uses his Phantom form to match Elsa's white hair, and they complain to each other about how they were hunted for who they are, and Elsa says something about how she's scared that her powers can hurt people after that time when she froze everything and Danny goes "Me too! A version of me once destroyed the world and I had to prevent that from happening!", and Danny's reaction to Olaf is just "It's like when hotdogs come to life in my house but friendly, so cool!"
* runs out of breath, pauses *
And Danny and Elsa both have red-headed sisters who at some point dated not-good-for-them guys. And Anna was frozen before being brought back to life and what if she's a halfa now? She had her hair turning white like a ghost, and she sort of died, right? She should be at least liminal! And Elsa actually could be some kind of Infinite Realms entity, with that whole fifth spirit thing from the second part.
And then Danny shows this cool new world to Jazz, and Elsa introduces Danny to Anna, and now Jazz bonds with Elsa over having chaotic younger siblings who want to save everyone. And when Dani joins, she immediately goes to explore and cause chaos, and she meets that giant snow monster (did you know that his name is Marshmallow? Adorable) and for no particular reason they form some kind of friendship, so now people can see Dani being carried oh so gently by this living mountain. Well, when she's not out of kingdom, of course. She might be starting a revolution in some authoritarian country, don't mind her.
Danny thinks that Sam probably wouldn't like Anna and Kristoff much because they're just such naive sunshines and Sam is, well, goth. Sam tells Danny that if she hadn't liked naive sunshines, she wouldn't have befriended him and Tucker, and proceeds to have a long conversation with Anna about how being from a rich family sometimes makes having any relationship so much harder. She then starts talking with Kristoff about animals rights, and Danny thinks that maybe he unleashed a power he wouldn't be able to stop.
Tucker probably doesn't find anything that really catches his attention in this world because there's no cool tech, but maybe he tries to apply his tech knowledge to magic and gets some crazy results (what do you mean you can't use "water has memory" thing for phone/computer memory? Well, watch him make this new cool computer that can make pictures out of ice and is even capable of making 3-dimensional ice sculptures images! How? Well, some ecto, some runes that Dani found for him in this world, some science... He's just that smart, yes.)
There are unconfirmed sightings of very confused Dan surrounded by trolls. They might have accidentally adopted this sad angry boy to show him love and affection.

Trans!Danny is stuck at a gala when his period starts and gets caught unprepared. Thankfully, he finds some girls willing to help him out.
~~<◇>~~
When Vlad made him heir to DALV.Co, Danny knew that he would have to go with him to social events such as the gala they were currently at. That doesn't mean he has to enjoy them though. And he especially wasn't enjoying this one. Of course he had to be in public and without supplies when his period started. So now he had to find someone he could ask for a pad, no matter how mortifying it would be.
Danny scanned the crowd, trying to figure out who would be the least snobby if he tried to talk to them. He decided on two girls about his age who were standing semi away from any large groups. With a sigh and silently grieving his ego, Danny made the walk of shame over to them.
"Excuse me?" The girls snapped to attention when Danny spoke up.
"Oh, hello there!" the blonde greeted, "I don't think I've seen you at one of these before. My names Steph and this is Cass". The dark haired girl, who he now knew as Cass, smiled and waved at him but otherwise didn't speak.
"I'm Danny, it's nice to meet you," Danny fidgeted in place and a hand came up to rub the back of his neck, "Man, there's really no way to ask this that isn't embarrassing..."
Steph regarded him with a raised eyebrow, "You aren't going to ask for our numbers, are you?".
Danny's eyes went wide and he raised his hands in a defensive manner.
"Oh ancients, no. Ah- Not to say that you aren't attractive! You are! I mean, you're both very pretty but I don't swing that way-" He's cut off by airy laughter from Steph and soft chuckles from Cass.
"Relax dude, it's okay. So, your question?"
"Would either of you have and extra pad? Or a tampon? My period started and I don't have anything with me..." Danny flushed and didn't make eye contact as he asked.
Danny nearly sobbed in relief when Cass nodded, discreetly slipped a pad out of her bag, and passed it to him. "Thank you, thank you so much!"
Cass made a 'don't worry about it' gesture and Steph smiled.
Before they could say anything else, a tall man who looked like he could bench press Danny without even breaking a sweat came and interupted.
"Hey, have either of you two seen where Dick went?" He asked the girls.
"Last I saw him was by the refreshments table," Steph informed him. Cass nodded in agreement.
"Thanks," the man said. He then turned and walked off, presumably towards the refreshments table. Danny's eyes followed him as he walked away and- Ancients, that ass! Even the layered suit couldn't hide the clear musculature that made up the mans everywhere. He could step on Danny and Danny would thank him.
Danny only realized he was staring when Steph cleared her throat, an amused look on her face.
"Ah! I wasnt- I mean- I was just-"
"Totally undressing Jason with your eyes?" Steph smirked. Danny flushed and made a hasty retreat.
"WOw, would you just look at the time! I should go uh... take care of this!" He gestured at the pad in his hand. "Yeah! I'm just gonna go."
"Come find us when you're done, we'll introduce you!" Steph called to his fleeing form.
Danny practically flew to the nearest bathroom. As soon as the door was closed he leaned against it and screamed into his hands. He completely embarrassed himself! He could never show his face again! Although...
Images of Jason flashed in his mind. Maybe he would go find those girls again... But first he needed to get this pad on!

Half-brother?!?!????
Prompt ig. Don't have enough knowledge to pull it off.
So, Dp stuff happen. AGIT too. So PP is gone and forgotten.
ANYWAY. Time passes, and after another huge battle of Ghosts, Maddie dies. Jack is distraught. He wasn't the most attentive parent before and had completely stopped trying to be one after that.
Danny was 17 and Jazz was 19 when they woke up to a small note with an apology.
Jack moved away. He was in his late 40s, the Ghosts were never his biggest interest tbh, it was Maddie and he loved her and her interests to bits. Now that the driving force was gone he just saw no point.
He got back into Uni. Got a degree and started travelling to different sights.
There he met Janet Drake and the rest is history upto your interpretation.
Tim, when he becomes Robin, does a more thorough check of his family and finds out about the possibility that he might have siblings. Adult, independent siblings. He didn't know whether or not to reach out. If he even should. He found records of them searching for his father. Maybe they wouldn't at all be happy to learn about the fact that their dad had a whole new family...

Dc x dp idea 82
Bernard has a new online conspiracy theorist friend.
Tim is at least happy bernard has less conspiracy theories about the bats. However him going off about a whole branch of the government deemed as guys in white is a bit much.
Now. He sure the two are just feeding off one another.
But it gets a tad too specific at times. Bernard going into detailed accounts of different ghost then ways they may have died?
A tiny ghost in a suit of armor. He is even claiming that his online friend is actually king of an entire dimension of elite ghost warriors? But his friend hadn’t realized it yet.
Honestly if his friend whose username is d3as0rAliv3? wasn’t coming to visit Gotham. Which he has no idea why anyone would come here he’d be hunting him down right now.
He’ll still do his research of course. Tim will also accompanying Bernard for the meet up. Just to be on the safe side.
Now when they got to the library. He most certainly wasn’t expecting a kid their age with a black eye and bruising around the wrists.
Especially not that Danny actually had proof of this GIW and the fact they were actively hunting down beings from a dimension called the infinite realm.
Maybe it wasn’t all a conspiracy theory. How on earth did Bernard find the one person who could prove their was a secret government agency hell bent on breaking the meta protection acts.

Snowflake Proposal
Two halfas met in winter and after an eventful day full of snowballs and laughs Jason offers Danny a snowflake, not realizing that this action was a promise of a future engagement for ice core ghosts.
Since Jason had a fire core, he was taught by the other fire core ghosts when he discovered he was a halfa; the traditions of other types of ghosts completely ignored.
He learned important things for the fire cores like: how romantic the bonfires were, saying I love you through food among other things. Fire cores used to value survival and effort above all else.
However, Jason had no idea about the others ghosts; according to him, Danny had started flirting first (Danny didn't know he was, since he only knew the traditions of ice core ghosts)
It was common in the Realms to investigate your potential partner's traditions if they didn't have the same core. Something most ghosts knew about, of course, this didn't include halfas.
So, Danny has no idea how to respond to this proposal...

random dp x dc writing
i suddenly had an idea for a new dp x dc crossover fic, here's a piece of it!
🦇
“So much for movie night.” Tucker complains.
Sam groans, stretching her legs as Danny gets up, and transforms. The rings come easily to him now, unlike they had just a little more than two years ago. Their ghost-hunting tech had merely been discarded to the side after their patrol before they settled for the movie night.
“You guys can stay here.” Danny says, pushing himself into the air. “I told Skulker and Technus to pass along the message to the other usuals, but maybe somebody else didn’t get the memo.” The Box Ghost surely hadn’t; but, then again, the Box Ghost doesn’t usually get any news from the Ghost Zone. Or maybe he does, and he doesn’t care. Either way, the cardboard-loving menace was stuck in thermosland right now, and Danny wasn’t going to let him out until after they found out if Amelia would survive INVASION OF THE KILLER TEACHERS III: SCHOOL’S OUT or if she would become another zombie student.
“You sure?”
“Yeah. I’ll make it quick.” Danny allows himself to turn invisible and intangible, and slingshots himself through the roof of Sam’s house and into the sky. The clouds that had been moving in during their patrol clouded Amity Park in a dreary autumn rain. Leaves that had begun to turn were blown off the trees by the wind, and a distant rumble of thunder echoes in the distance.
Once upon a time, the storm would’ve terrified Danny. It would bring too many bad memories, of electricity burning through his skin, killing him and bringing him to life at the same time. But now, as a flash of lightning hit the sky, he can’t deny the surge of energy and delight in his core.
Stupid electric core.
“Ah! Sir Phantom!”
It isn’t one of his usual rogues for once. Instead, it’s a familiar face, and an ally. He calms down a bit at the sight of Lady Dorothea. He’s still a little annoyed that his movie night is being interrupted, but at least it’s by another friend.
Plus, he’s sure Lady Dorothea, who’s working hard at modernizing her kingdom, probably wouldn’t understand what a movie night was, anyway.
“Hey, Dorothea!” Danny drops his shoulders. He keeps himself intangible, feeling the rain fall through him. Lady Dorothea is intangible as well. “Is everything okay? Does your brother need to get his ass kicked into next week again?”
“No, not quite.” Lady Dorothea sighs. “I do need your assistance, but it is not for kicking any asses this time. Something… else has happened.”
“Something else?”
Lady Dorothea nods. “Yes. A few cycles ago, a newly-formed ghost stumbled into the castle gardens. My head gardener, Montagu, had found him stumbling through the hedges, and our healers were able to stabilize him before he could have faded, but then…” She bites her thumbnail nervously. A roar of thunder echoes around them. “… Sir Phantom, I believe he may be a halfa.”
Danny blinks at her. “Sorry, what? Did you say there’s another halfa?”
“Yes, I did— Sir Phantom, as far as my kingdom has come with modernization, I do not believe we have the capabilities of assisting a halfa, let alone one so young. I, no, we need your help, as soon as you are able to.”
A new halfa. Danny’s brain feels like it’s melting and spinning at the same time. He’d never encountered this before. Was that what Danny had felt? The new Halfa, forming? Or, well, maybe transforming for the first time, or something. He felt like pop-rocks were bursting under his skin, and he could feel a few stray sparks shoot off from his hands.
A new halfa.

mini sneak peek to a wip i’m doing in hopes of some inspiration.
context: The Justice League, besides Jason, is frozen solid after attempting to put a blood blossom collar on Danny.
this happens after that.
…..
Danny gasps as he opens his eyes, feeling like a loosen up string that had been held up too tight for far too long, but then stills, as several things register; first the looming unmoving figure of a man who’s shadow cast over most of his lithe frame because they’re just that close, and then, he follows, the same man’s hands overhead where they stretch holding up a familiar red flower collar almost to the crown of his head but again, don’t. Finally, the overlap of ice the entire room glows with, that recalls— he’d just froze everything solid.
oh. oh fuck.
He almost jumps when he hears the click of a gun on his left, “Unfreeze this shit.”
It’s red helmet guy. Danny notes the guy’s core thrums with too-fast thrill, anticipation ghosts have when they want to throw hands. Well, guy better back off, Danny is exhausted.
Maybe too much to instantly retract the ice.
He grimaces, “You do it if you can’t wait for me to rest five minutes.” really, guy has a fire core. why doesn’t he—oh. oh no. Danny hadn’t been able to feel that before.
…before what? the excruciating pain? no, Danny racks his brain and—shit, he’d done that to stop the pain but what the fuck, he recalls going like an idiot and latching blind into some random’s ghost core. He looks up and down the guy.
Guy just feels different, guy— shoots one bullet an inch away from him.
Ok, fair.

DP X DC WRITING PROMPT #18
Handle With Care
So. Danny is more exhausted than usual, his enemies seemingly agreeing to harassing him all at once for the past couple of days. Which is the only reason his Dad gets a lucky shot in on one of their usual chases all across town.
The only thing is, Danny got shot with a new weapon his parents had just finished making that afternoon and it produces terrifying results. Instead of being a regular ecto blaster his parents so love to make, this weapon his an extra special function. It's meant to end a ghost's very existence from one shot alone.
Danny is half ghost though and it's the only thing that saves him. The new weapon siphons away the ectoplasm that makes up his ghost form's very being and forces him into a painful, paralyzing state of destabilization while still partially retaining his form.
Basically, instead of Danny falling apart into puddles of goo like he'd witnessed with Dani, his ice core cracks from the stress of the sudden, severe lack of ectoplasm and in an act of self preservation, slowly freezes him solid from the center of his core to his extremities. He only has time to catch sight of his friends and several of his classmates staring in horror, some even recording everything live on their phones as he slowly froze over. A single tear slips from his eye before he completely freezes over.
The Fenton parent's hoot and holler over their victory to the disgust of onlookers. After they're done celebrating, they make their way over to Phantom's frozen form and were about to proceed to shatter him completely but several of the football players and many other students managed to tackle them to the ground before they could so much as scratch him. Several others set up a human barricade to keep them as far from Phantom as possible, most of them in states of anger or full on crying over what the two ghost hunters had done to their hero.
Sam, Tucker, and Jazz are understandably a mixture of both. They decide to inact one of their back up plans for whenever Amity Park became too dangerous for Danny's continued existence.
As Sam and Jazz carefully prepare to transport Danny to the Ghost Zone to get to Frostbite as quickly as possible, Tucker breaks through the firewalls around the city long enough to open a window for the previous live videos to flood the internet and to send out a single message to the last hope they have of their friend being safe from those who want to destroy him utterly and completely.
They contact the Justice League.

The Uno Reverse Adoption Saga 3
First: Chapter 1
Previous: Chapter 2
Next: Chapter 4
Halfa!Trio Au crossover with Batman
Current Characters: Sam Manson, Tucker Foley, Danny Fenton, Jason Todd (mentioned), Frostbite (brief)
Summary: Forced to attend a gala by her parents as she is every year, Sam Manson was resigned to suffer through the stifling three-night gala until something pulled at her core. The something turned out to be a someone. Just who is Jason Todd and can the trio gain enough of his trust to help him before his struggling proto-core collapses?
Warning for panicking/fear, sort of admitting it and being overwhelmed!
👻 {Chapter 3 Below!)
Sam wasn’t blind to the looks she received as she returned to her parents’ side, from the other guests nor from her parents. Her mother in particular eyed her speculatively, but thankfully she didn’t say anything about Sam’s disappearance.
Yet.
The rest of the night went smoothly. Sam shut the boys out of her senses so they’d sleep. She knew all too well that if she didn’t they would stay awake to keep her company. Any other night she wouldn’t have minded terribly much but they were heading out to the Far Frozen tomorrow, without her, and they needed to be alert. She ignored her aching feet and almost reconsidered, mind begging for a distraction, but she reminded herself that somethings were worth suffering through. If she was lucky one of the boys would start dreaming soon. Though mainly incomprehensible, a dream would be preferable to hearing the woman behind her prattle on about the various scandals surrounding the host’s sons. The woman didn’t even have the decency to mention Jason, rendering Sam’s eavesdropping to be for naught.
👻 {Boo!)
The next day Sam fussed at Tucker and Danny as they prepared to enter the Ghost Zone.
“-and don’t forget the Fenton phones,” she instructed redundantly. Jack and Maddie Fenton had been thoroughly distracted with the ghosts that had ventured into Amity in their absence and had taken off immediately that morning. Their nonattendance worked out wonderfully for the trio who intended to seek out Frostbite; they couldn’t use the portal if the elder Fentons were in the lab.
Standing in a familiar basement laboratory in Amity, Danny and Tucker gave one another long suffering looks.
“Calm down Sam,” Danny said.
“Between you and Jazz, it’s like I’m hearing double,” added Tucker.
There was a spark of amusement from Danny and a welling of irritation from Sam. “I’m just saying, historically something always goes wrong with these types of things,” she mentally scowled.
Tucker waved her concern off. “Relax! I’m not saying you’re wrong but worrying about something that hasn’t even happened yet is-“ and he added a sentiment, a feeling of it-wastes-time-and-energy-that-I-don’t-have.
Danny hesitated. “Jazz is helping.” Nonverbally, he added that she had a modified Fenton phone through a series of impressions. “You’ll know if something horrible happens.”
That was not reassuring at all and Sam let them know that.
Usually the trio relied on their link. They never found out how exactly it came to be or how to replicate it, but they agreed it had something to do with all of them being caught up on the same accident. Distance didn’t affect it, neither did time travel. There was only one circumstance in which they were out of reach, and that was when the trio was split between the human world and the Ghost Zone. The connection became unstable, not unlike a flip phone call with poor reception in a thunderstorm. Glimpses and fragments could filter through, but the link was largely dominated by a tingly unpleasant static which was often times accompanied by a headache. Needless to say, they rarely went to the zone nor returned without each other. Some situations, however, called for splitting up and thus they utilized the modified Fenton phones. Sam hadn’t dared take hers on the trip to Gotham and now she was sorely regretting it. Everything she’d know would be second hand through Jazz, which was jarring for someone who was accustomed to constant first person updates in real time.
All she could do was nag at them and make sure they were as prepared as they could be.
“We’ll be fine Sam,” Danny assured her as he strapped some ecto-something or other to his side. He felt a tad giddy- even after all this time he still felt cool ‘gearing up’ for their missions.
Fondly, Sam let him know he was a total dork and was echoed by Tucker.
The mellow moment passed and was replaced with a tense air as the boys stepped up to the swirling neon portal. Its spirals were hypnotizing in the worst way, the ebb and flow of the ectoplasm shrinking and stretching like a breathing, writhing mass. Ironically, it made the portal to the world of the dead look alive. Even from Gotham, Sam could feel it’s glow pressing into her eyes, demanding attention, and her heart fluttered anxiously.
Every time she looked at it, an unbidden wave of green raced at her like a raging bull, engulfed her. Every time she looked at it, the accident replayed in her mind for a brief disconcerting second.
Time had taken the edge off of the emotions that assaulted her when faced with the portal. Tucker was still unnerved on occasion too, and he tended to squeeze his eyes shut whenever they passed through it. Danny though… he’d been on the inside and hadn’t seen what they had during the accident. He always felt excitement and dread but not the same fear Tucker and Sam had.
It looked different from the inside, he said. It didn’t look like the portal.
“Alright, we’re going through,” Tucker announced, cutting into the tenseness before it could become suffocating. “I’d say wish us luck but I think Sam needs it more.”
Sam mentally scowled at him as Danny watched mirthfully. “Get out of here,” she told them.
“We’ll be back,” Danny promised.
“‘Course we will,” agreed Tucker.
As they went through the swirling vortex there was a cacophonous wail and then the bond was wrapped in a muting array.
“Stay safe…” Sam thought quietly.
But she knew from the crackles and sense of empty that they hadn’t heard her.
👻 {Boo!)
She hadn’t been to a gala alone, really on her own, for three years. It was odd but not unnavigateable. After all, the times she’d had to put up with them alone outnumbered the times she’d had Danny and Tucker with her. It should’ve been easy to fall back into practiced habit, especially with the predictable behavior that was expected of her.
The operative word was ‘should’.
Sam had already been feeling foul and the constant static with the occasional burst of clarity across the link only made her more so. Her headache was diligently working its way up to migraine and she was miserable. She’d gotten glimpses of shock, boredom, confusion, and excitement but she didn’t know what any of it meant.
Whirling the drink in her hand, Sam watched the slivers of light glinting and reflecting with each turn. It was kind of hypnotizing. It was easy to ignore the shuffling and the oddly rising voices of the room if she only concerned herself with the little lights in her cup.
Her uninterrupted daze didn’t last long.
One moment she was struggling not to fidget, making an effort to keep a straight back and a serene air, refusing to shift her weight lest she appear skittish. The next moment she and every other guest whirled toward the sound of a crash and shattering glass.
There were cries of dismay as a handful of black clad figures invaded the room, wielding guns and oddly, bug sprayers. Sam counted seven.
“Nobody move!” one of them barked.
They wasted no time in taking hostages and Sam began to sweat. For all the variety of situations Team Phantom could handle and had been involved with, common human crime was almost entirely unfamiliar to them. She’d always been one for action but if her moonlighting as a Phantom had taught her one thing, it was that she had to consider her actions lest she make a situation worse. Sam had no idea how to approach this.
One of the infiltrators stepped into the center of the room. A wide ring was cleared around him as people shuffled backwards. “Ladies and gentlemen,” he began, “no one has to die tonight.”
Sam’s spine crawled. Trepidation. Anxiety. And an emotion she eternally loathed to admit she harbored: fear.
There were so many people- Sam’s eyes darted around the room.
So many people could get hurt.
A voice that sounded suspiciously like Tucker pointed out that this wasn’t her responsibility. Team Phantom focused mostly on human and ghost interaction in Amity and a timid Danny voice that was most-certainly-not-really-Danny asked if it was worth risking her, and their, safety.
Sam knew her life was fifty levels of weird and the fact that she had caricatures of her friends in her head after a few mere hours of their real counterpart’s absences was… it was something. She didn’t know. Jazz would’ve had a field day pouring over whatever that implied.
But was acting it worth it? If she went ghost and did something to get on the GIW’s radar the connection between Sam Manson and Manes would be scrutinized too closely. And if she was caught? It would be game over. Not to mention, she glared around the room through the pounding in her skull, that they might scan the guests. She didn’t want to drag Jason into anything ghostly, much less due to the necessity of escaping the government. And with Batman’s notorious stance on metas… well, she wasn’t a meta and the GIW sure as hell wouldn’t clarify that for him. She didn’t want to get on the wrong side of the so called ‘world’s greatest detective’.
So Manes couldn’t do anything here without the risk of Major Problems For Everyone, but could Sam Manson?
Whatever Sam could do needed to be done soon. She needed to act. She’d done hostage negotiations before. Granted, it was with ghosts, but she remembered the basic setup. Listen to the demand and try to talk with them to find a compromise.
Except she realized that the spokesperson had been talking the entire time she’d been grappling with herself and if he’d made any demands she’d missed it-
Sam wasn’t prone to panic, but with the stress of her parents breathing down her neck, Danny’s annual Christmas gloom, her and Tuckers desolation and vulnerability following the scramble, the mystery of Jason and the possibility that he could out her as Manes since she hadn’t realized he was human-
She couldn’t handle it.
It was all piling up and spilling over. So she might have been panicking. Just a little.
But she was a halfa, she had powers no human nor ghost possessed. She had a responsibility to help people. She had to do something. Sam wasn’t helpless. But as she stood there, struck perfectly still with a steady rhythmic pulse of pain crawling through her body and blurring the edges of her vision, with the gaping void where the frayed connection faded to nix, she might as well have been.
👻 {Boo!)
Danny thought that their expedition was going pretty well. He and Tucker had made it to the Far Frozen nearly unmolested, though the brief altercation they’d had with Baby Face Boyle was hardly worth mentioning. The natural interference of the zone made the trio’s bond erratic and the side of headache was always awful, but with Tucker nearby it wasn’t so bad; the connection liked having him close when Sam was out of reach.
Frostbite and the others had welcomed them warmly (heh) and while Tucker basked in the attention, Danny was more bashful. He was still a little embarrassed from the mishaps that had occurred when they’d trained him to use his ice. The ghost yetis didn’t seem to mind though, so long as there were no ice usage demonstrations involved, and were more than happy to help. Danny and Tucker had barely opened their mouths to ask if they could talk cores and Frostbite was already ushering them into the caverns that housed the medical facilities.
After clarifying that no, Sam was alright and no, no one was about to cease, they explained the situation the best they could.
Frostbite and the medic yeti were helpful, walking them through the basics of cores (though admittedly, it wasn’t anything they hadn’t generally known) and things like ectoplasm circulation and core surface density and the regeneration rate to core size to ambient ectoplasm ratio.
(Danny knew all that and he knew Tucker did too. His parents had cut up more than one blob ghost and they made sure the trio, Danny especially, knew what they’d found out each and every time.)
Still, they listened and Danny took notes on a little notepad. Tucker fidgeted, absently reaching for his PDA a few times before his fingers would curl and his arm would retract.
The proto-core part of the lecture was interesting, it was new, and both halfas listened with rapt attention. Humans, Frostbite said, had fully defined traits. Cores were defined and were defining, much like human ambition. Unlike human anything, however, cores were ectoplasmic. So when humans died and the natural barriers of life were forgone, those definitions were free to collect ectoplasm and forge a core with the human’s traits.
Proto-cores differed. They had a porous structure and would be hard pressed to preserve outside of ectoplasm rich environments without feeding often which the trio had known from the infamous ghostling sitting mission. What they hadn’t known was how exactly a proto-core came to be. Frostbite explained that they were made by the joining of two or more cores and were an echo of the parent cores, but only in the most basic structure. Ghostlings had no ties. They had no obsessions, no ambitions of their own. Those they would define on their own as their cores grew in size and strength.
“So wait. If two or more ghosts have to mush their cores together to make a proto-core,” Danny puzzled, “how does it get a body? Is that just a thing that happens over time?”
“The ghostling’s parents donate their own ectoplasm to help form the body. You are aware of where your ectoplasm is, even when it’s separated from you,” the yeti medic shared. Tucker and Danny grimaced. It was weird, knowing exactly where your ghost-blood had been spilled, and they knew it too well. It was still a part of you even when apart from you. That made the samples of team Phantom’s ectoplasm in his parent’s lab extra weird. They could even tell when the elder Fentons were running experiments on the samples.
“This is because it is still a part of you,” the yeti continued, unknowingly echoing Danny’s thoughts. “When given to offspring, it acts like a signal that a ghostling’s parent can sense over long distances. In a place like the Infinite Realms, being able to locate your ghostling is of the utmost importance.”
There was a bit more from the yetis about parents cycling the ghostling’s ectoplasm and how avowing worked, but Tucker was quick to circle back to body formation.
“M’kay, but what if the proto-core doesn’t have parents? Could it find a living body or something?” he asked.
The yetis frowned. “What ghostling wouldn’t have parents?” the medic asked, baffled at the notion.
“There is no such thing,” Frostbite agreed.
Tucker and Danny glanced at each other.
Danny fiddled with his pen. “So, hypothetically of course, there’s a zero percent chance that a human could have a proto-core?”
“Before you, Great One, I would’ve said yes. Now however? I will say it would be extraordinarily unlikely.”
“Great,” Danny said with a slump.
Across the link, Tucker wondered if the core was attached to Jason or if it actually was Jason’s core. Danny jotted the possibility down.
They thanked the yetis and took a quick break to check in with Jazz, who pointed out that Frostbite might be able to help Tucker with his PDA.
“He’s kinda like a ghost doctor, right? You and Sam can’t be the only ghosts with techno-parts,” she reasoned to Tucker. “So ask about it! He might be able to help you.”
Hope fizzled up  in Tucker’s chest. Danny perked up too- he didn’t have any integrated technology like Sam and Tucker, but he knew their misery firsthand.
“That’s a great idea! Thanks Jazz,” Danny beamed.
“Do you really think Frostbite could help us?” Tucker asked, cradling his PDA. The accident had fused Tucker to his PDA and Sam to her camera. Now in ghost form and out, the devices were a part of them.
On the outside the PDA looked fine, new even, but to Tucker it felt like he’d been laying on his arm for hours and it had fallen asleep. But unlike when a limb fell asleep, the awareness never returned and the pins and needles sensation never went away. That was on top of the PDA being a hacked mess.
Ghosts like Shulker and Technus heavily utilized technology, but more in the sense that they manipulated the use of and overshadowed the tech rather than it being attached to their cores in some way. If Shulker’s suit was destroyed, he could make a new one with minute complication provided he could get parts. Sam and Tucker, on the other hand, couldn’t just replace their camera and PDA respectively.
Danny turned to the yetis, who had moved to a table and were hovering over something. “Hey Frostbite, so Tucker and I were wondering-”
The sudden spike of intense emotions across the bond through the unwavering obscurity shocked Tucker and then Danny, both of whom began to feel anxious as they caught glimpses of Sam’s mind.
The pain of the interrupted bond. A paralyzing fog of confusion and reactive anger. The urge to act and the inability to.
Fear. Overwhelming, all-encompassing fear.
And then it winked out, lost to the sea of static.
Tucker’s stunned dismay mirrored his own.
“-if we could borrow the infi-map!”

The SPECTRE AU- Frozen Heart.
Danny Phantom and the Red Huntress was on a mission somewhere in the state of New Jersey.
A truck filled with Fenton weapons had been highjacked before they had reached their buyers.
Considering the location the buyers could were must likely to be people working for LexCorp, Cadmus or a GiW safehouse. Vlad or the MasterBlasters would just pick up the delivery with their own people.
The weapons worried them both because according to the offical documents the cargo was only protective clothes and armour.
But in the in the internal Fenton Database the cargo would have been marked as F-clothes and F-armour (F-Fenton) but instead it was marked with a Project name and number which the details on the computer had then been deleted.
This only happened when the Project was truly messed up.
When even the Fentons realised (to a degree) that what they had created was messed up, that was bad.
They had found the truck turned upside down on one of the minor roads to the north west, checking the cargo the steel crate that should have been welded there had been ripped out, indicating superstrength.
We found the driver facedown a few hundred feet from the truck, dead, very cold to the touch and soaking wet, even though it had not rained for 2days.
They started looking around the truck for clues and they found footprints, heavy and large, custom?, made of metal considering the tracks on the soul.
Red Huntress started following the Footprints as Danny stayed in the truck trying to feel the energy (if there was any) from the weapon, and while it was faint there was something that was very differnt to ‘standard’ ectoplasm or background radiation.
Red Huntress returned after a few minutes saying that the tracks lead to a river.
The thief propably escaped on a boat.
Danny: -I have the scent of the weapon.
They start flying, to the river, the scent or ‘voice’ goes to the south, they follow.
Valerie: -Do you have any clue what the weapon or whatever can be?
Danny is silent for a few moments.
Danny: -The best I have is some sort of enhancement.
Valerie: -Enhancement?
Danny nods.
Danny: -The Ectoplasm in the container should not be felt this much if it was the normal kid. It’s thicker, more concentrated. None of the fenton weapons I know would be able to use it. It would overload almost instantly.
Valerie ponders this.
Danny: -But it’s more than that.
Valerie looks at him.
Danny: -The machine that is in the crate, it’s custom. Whoever bought it must have paid premium. For a very specific purpose.
Ectoplasm that concentrated, it is very volatile.
Valerie ponders, something hits her.
Valerie: -Phantom..... HOW concentrated is it?
Danny looks like he really does not want to answer.
Valerie: -Danny.... she says more softly.
Danny: -..........20.
Valerie: - 20?
She does not understand.
Danny: ‘sigh’ - Atleast 20 times as concentrated.
Valeries eyes are now very big, the she silently looks forward and increases her speed to just over half the speed of sound.
Danny silently follows.
Less then half an hour later they stop because the trail goes into a waterpump station that leads into a sewer.
The stench of the sewer is 77% there to even kill a ghost, luckily Valeries costume protects her.
They fly into so many forks in the road but Danny never even hesitates, left, left, right, straight, right, right, left.
They enter a corridor, and passes through a looked door that Danny Phase open.
And they enter, some sort of lab.
Everything is in dark blue light and colder then what you would expect.
Lab Equipment covers the tables, High-tech guns- pistols, mini guns, something that looks like a missile launcher combined with a chonky assult rifle.
Large containers that seem to hold........ exo-suits? They are at the moment not lit so it’s hard to see who it could belong to.
While really interesting, they don’t see the package.
So they continue searching, room by room, storage- chemicals, storage -scrap metal, room filled with machines used for smithing.
And finally a large room that ones might have been used to store large amount of water incase of drought.
And there in the middle of it was a steel crate with the Fentonworks logo.
On the ground in front of it was several tools that have been used to start open the crate, on of the edged side had been ripped to a third of.
Seeing part of a machne that seemed to be softly pulsing.
The feeling of Ectoplasm was now very heavy putting both of the on edge.
Valerie had her gun out loaded and ready looking around for the thief Danny’s hand were glowing but the content of the crate  dulled his senses somewhat.
The sound of metal foot on rusted iron walkway was heard above them.
Valerie and Danny both flung themself to the side as energybeams started raining down.
Danny and Valerie aimed there own energybeams at the walkway, it hit and the person firing at them fell to the earth, loosing the energy weapon he was firing in his left hand but manages to hold the one in his right, landing on his feet was one of Gotham citiy’s more infamous citizens.
Mr. Freeze.
Standing over 2m tall in a black exo-suit and a dome helmet, completly bald with glowing cold eyes.
He opens fire, with his freeze gun (lol) this time.
The freeze beam is surpisingly fast.
It is aimed at Valerie but Danny flies in and takes the hit, allowing Valerie to fire at Freezes gun as Danny fazes through the ice.
Freezes gun goes flying, Valerie having hit him in his right hand, stomach and chest.
Danny flies and take the freeze gun.
Valerie keeps firing, forcing Mr. Freeze back.
He almost trips but goes low enough to pick up the energy weapon he dropped.
Danny ponders for half a second and decides to try something.
He pushes a bit of his own frreze power into the gun.
The differnce is dramatic.
The gun when fired by Mr.Freeze was a gentle stream.
When fired by Danny it was a Tsunami.
A second or two was enough to fill a third of the room in ice.
Mr.Freeze himself being stuck 4 meters up in the air almost completely covered in ice, only part of his dome and part of his left still functual arm.
He started to desperatly firing the weapon to try and hit them
They flayed a bit trying to avoid being hit, then one of the shots got into the partaly open crate.
Danny saw the crate started smoking, grabbed Valerie and phased through the nearest wall.
2 seconds later, 3 seconds later, 4 seconds later, 5 sec......
BOOM!!
The crate had exploded, Danny held on to Valerie scanning the ceiling in case of collapse.
When everything seemed to have calmed down they whent back into the room with Freeze.
There was not much left of the room.
The stench of Concentrated Ectoplasm was slowly burning away.
Mr. Freeze did not look to well but the ice seemed to have protected him somewhat together with the exo-suit and the angle kept him alive.
But unconscious they dragged him out of the ice, then his head dome fell of.
With his head still inside it.
A few stunned moments later, they start looking into the exo-suit and only find machinery.
They are just stand there looking essentially at a head in fishbowl.
They look at each other.
Valerie: -Call it in?
Danny: -Call it in.
They go back to the main lab area.
Put Freezes head on a table as Valerie calls it in to the others.
Danny looking around, not really wanting to get rid of the gun he considers keeping it as an ace in the hole.
He strolls around ending up in front of the larger unlit weapon containers trying to see whats inside of it since there is no light switch by them.
Then Costantine and the others arrive in a large very glowy green portal.
And the light fills the display case.
And Danny is in awe of what he sees inside of it.
Many tedious hours of catalouging would follow but Danny’s mind never really left what he saw, and he could not wait to take it for a spin.

Updated "The Puppet and the Key" chapter 17! This story is the second on in my "Phantom in the MCU" series. Many thanks to @phantomtwitch for the encouragement to post more of this story!
Summary of "The Puppet and the Key": Danny is growing up, and facing off against foes that are much stronger than himself. (Freakshow, anyone?) With the support of his family and team, he steps into the role that fate has for him.
Summary of TPatK, chapter 17: Danny is taken to the Far Frozen for treatment. There he meets Frostbite, the Leader of the Ice Yetis, who offers him training with his ever-developing ice-powers.
Teaser:
Wulf stared at his no-longer-a-cub with a small smile. *Your ghost half is maturing, at last!* He finally said. *I was unsure if it ever would because of your human side.* The full ghost walked behind the barrier just in time to be hit by one of Danny’s sneezes. His green fur frosted over with the temperature of the blast. *It appears that your Ice Core is getting much stronger.* He went intangible and the ice fell to the floor. The ghost returned to solid form. *I am afraid that no one else in our clan has an ice core—they are exceedingly rare outside of the Far Frozen.*
*The Far Frozen?* Maddie asked.
*The Far Frozen is when the Ice Yetis live. They have ice cores. I am afraid that they are the only ones who can help you with this transition.*
*How do I get there? You’ve shown me many places in the Zone, but not the Far Frozen. Why?*
*They are wary of outsiders, but I have an acquaintance who is a border guard there. If I can find him, he will lead us to his leader, Frostbite. The ghost is kind-hearted in regards to young ghosts. He will help you.* He touched the halfa’s arm in pride. *My cub is a cub no longer. Can you transform?*
Danny nodded and got out of the bed. He was wearing simple pair of sweats. When he shifted to ghost form, he was out of his armor, and wearing his traditional jumpsuit. He briefly felt something cold against his chest, but when he reached for it, it disappeared. Maddie gasped and he instantly forgot what he was doing. He followed his mother’s gaze and looked down at himself. Instead of dark tan, his skin had taken on a more blueish hue, and his nails were longer and sharper. His ears were tapered, and he was also noticeably more muscular than he had been just the week before. The jumpsuit was now too small, so it fit him like a second skin. It highlighted his new physique. *You are growing nicely, wolfkin.* The ghost remarked.
Maddie looked at her son with concern. *Your eyes—they’re changing color and flickering from green to blue.*
Wulf frowned. *Let us go now. Ice cores are tricky things—powerful, but tricky. We need to get you to the Far Frozen as quickly as possible.*
The werewolf ripped a hole in the space in front of him and Danny looked through. The familiar landscape of the Ghost Zone was marked by a strange tunnel of ice in the distance. *Is that…*
*Yes, that is the entrance to the Far Frozen.* Wulf grabbed his charge by the arm and stepped through into the green sky.
The pair flew for nearly a half-hour before they were close enough to be met by the perimeter guards. *Halt! You do not belong here. You will go no further.*

Dc x dp idea 47
A villain figures out how to make a portal gun to another dimension. The plan was not the infinite realm but the in between area.
I read it on the wiki. I can’t find it again so maybe i imagined it. But it was the place the portal opens if not done correctly. Essentially a void where no powers or anything works.
So said hero gets the ground underneath them shot. They are now falling in the realm. The same realm Danny is currently in. Danny just acts. Grabs whoever it is and shoved them back through the portal him included.
Good for the hero not so much for Danny. The portal closed and now he is in another dimension. Danny sees the guy with the portal gun his first thought is to get the fun away from him.
Danny freezes it with his ice this breaking the gun.
Danny perhaps was in the realm because his dimension turned on him. Tried to or did vivisect him. He was quick to dispose of the portal him as he already had to destroy the one in his dimension. He wouldn’t risk anyone else coming into the realm.

Phantom Fever
When Danny left Amity he was pretty sure it would be a quick trip. He wasn't expecting a few days' visit to Gotham to check some annoying "co-workers" of Vlad's, a gala and a serious case of fever.
Being fair, Danny didn't know that ghosts could get sick, or how much damage this could do. His powers went completely haywire, activating and deactivating in the middle of the street, and it was only thanks to Vlad that he was able to come up with an excuse or two.
Vlad obviously didn't expect him to get sick either, if his disgusted face was anything to go by. The two had a truce of sorts but it was obvious they were only on friendly terms thanks to Jack Fenton.
Danny didn't feel like locking himself in a room and drinking soup. He wanted to call Frostbite, but he was too far away from the Realms, and the halfa refused to let Vlad check on him.
So he ended up on the streets of Gotham, spreading early winter and ice stalagmites in his wake. It was just luck that Vlad found him before the bats, who were obviously interested in the new development. Danny wondered how he was supposed to attend the gala in those conditions.

DC X DP PROMPT #9
Danny is a meta. Danny does not know he is a meta. Danny's power only activates in death so how should he have known? It's not like he's died before the portal accident. Right?
Danny has been dying from his parent's neglect repeatedly. The first time he had died was when he wandered outside into the snow while Jazz was at school. He had frozen and never noticed as Jazz had claimed that she came home just in time.
Danny still dies to the portal opening up on him, he still becomes a halfta, but his human half is just as instructable as his ghost half. He just doesn't know it.
When Danny turns 15 the Justice League step in with the GiW and shut down the anti-ecto acts before they can even pass. It's great. The JL talks to him and even offer him a spot in their teen group!
Danny found out he was a meta from Robin (either Tim or Damian,, can't decide),, not even BATMAN , and it was during a CASUAL HANGOUT
R: "What's it like being a meta?"
D: "wdym"
Everyone thinks Danny's meta powers are ghost-themed. They are not. He only got them AFTER the portal accident!! Danny fights tooth and nail to convince them he is just dead lmao. No one brings up that he is both at the same time.
