I'm digging like a mad-woman at all the old places I once was

The last places I saw myself alive

All I'm getting is dirt under my nails and bloody fingertips

It aches beyond words to haunt yourself

I still feel her in those old walls and when I look at those old photos

All the people who she loved and loved her back

I wonder if they think of her

I still hear her voice in my head reminding me of who she was

But she's gone and now I'm the husk who doesn't know how to live

Einstürzende Neubauten at Slurpen for “Tidskonsept II”, Oslo 1983.

Artist collective Lambretta invited Einstürzende Neubauten and Holy Toy to perform in their studio that they converted into a gallery space for the evening.

The locale was decorated with painted tv-screens, painted tarps, sheet metal and hanging oil drums, and playing documentary and propaganda clips from wartime Germany and the Soviet Union.

The performance was attended by the art elite, punks, and a tv-crew from the Norwegian national broadcasting network NRK.

The night ended with band members from Einstürzende Neubauten throwing Molotov-cocktails into the crowd, and the crowd reacting similarly by setting fire to the instruments and set design by Lambretta.

When I moved away from home to my current dorm situation I didn’t bring my earring organizer with me. I realized I needed one again and started looking on amazon. I then paused and said to myself -

‘F.M. You hate capitalism - buying one isn’t very punk rock of you’

So I went onto Pinterest for inspiration and ended up making one myself! I didn’t follow a pattern - I ended up just making a large swatch of fishnet followed by a chunk of single crochet for my post earrings.

Dostoyevsky's 'White Nights' (1848)- a work I learnt to love more and more in time #one of the first manifestations of pure selfless love in his writings - and I mean TRULY selfless in a way so shock!ng at first reading #contemplating it over time I understood the intention better and I can't help but love Dostoyevsky's dreamers #by that I mean his intellectual dreamer type of characters and following them through their plotline makes one's heart b!eed constantly #especially if you yourself resonate with the type #the original quote has different punctuation - 'A whole moment of bliss! Isn't that enough for an entire human life?..' #more like the b!essed type of happiness as well as 'a whole minute of happiness' remaining true to the plot itself too actually #(seriously I can't forget that one specific scene implying 'the whole minute' itself Iamheartbroken) #after a long time the nameless dreamer became very dear to me.. he leaves me in wonder and melancholy... and suffering #for an early writing 'White Nights' already hints at the psychological and spiritual deep-dives of much later works #so do all early works featuring dreamers I'd argue - 'The landlady' 'A faint heart' 'Netochka Nezvanova'... well 'Poor Folk' too #where Gogol's dreamer artist from 'Nevsky Prospekt' failed - Dostoyevsky's nameless dreamer from 'White Nights' overcame & survived #these tags are rather distracting from the fanart itself.. but are words necessary?... for... #*continues inact!vity per!od*
