Mandalorian Gingerbread Cookies🎉

Hi okay I keep forgetting to post these, so I'm gonna do it right now while I remember!!! Anyways, one of my uncles gifted me these Mandalorian cookies on the 27th and I finally decided to decorate them a couple days ago ‼️ I'm not. Very good at decorating cookies (or anything for that matter LMAO), but it actually went surprisingly well this time! Probably because I had guidelines I could follow wkfjkwjqkfk

I think they came out very cute...especially the Grogu one (I didn't know what to add to the frog, so just writing 'Yay' in all caps above it was apparently my way of improvising. I keep making myself laugh with it)

Every damn year I forget I have to soften gingerbread cookies because they're always so tough, but they still came out yummy. I think that was a success 🧍👍

Anyways idk why I'm posting this, it's days late (can you guys tell I'm bored), but I just felt like the world needed to see the cute Mandalorian themed cookies 🎉 Okay thank you for reading my silly post. Bye bye and Happy (early) New Year ‼️‼️‼️

Hello again ^w^ <3

After not drawing anything for a while I finally managed to update the appearance of my fursona a little bit to make it more similar to how I look nowadays (BTW rare happy fursona sighting). Also, I'm delighted to do so for one of my favorite seasons of the year <3 <3. Finally I got the peace and time I so much needed for myself. College has been hard AF lately...

The background is definitely emo inspired, but the outfit is eh... goth-ish? I mean, the choker with the little cross might give those vibes, but the rest is still kinda ambiguous so... Let's leave it at whatever TF dark clothes were found for the sake of bothering the anti-alt fashion family members at the dinner table.

Maybe many things could be improved but for now I'm very happy with the result <3 Let's see if you can find all the references, heehee ;3

... So back when the Netflix samurai thing first released its teasers and trailers, my thought was “Why does Nobunaga look like Vlad Dracula played by an Asian actor”.

I know the Netflix thing is old news by now, and even I feel bad about beating a dead horse, but this has been in my mind for ages and I wanted to get it out of my system.

Dunno why are Nobu and Vlad watching (probably pirated) Netflix episodes on a computer. It just seems like it’d be funny like this... Maybe they’re hanging out in the afterlife I guess. Also Nobu is drinking coffee from a sake cup for some reason.

I still don’t understand the staff’s styling choice for this. Like I get that maybe Haneda-san (the actor) doesn’t want to cut his hair for whatever reason, but, just... why...? This is a documentary, not a Kazuaki Kiriya funky arthouse movie.

He still has his long hair in the other movie/show he’s in, but he can still be dressed and styled more neatly:

It’s crazy how even though there’s been many Dr. Seuss animated TV specials, How the Grinch Stole Christmas is the only one to have enough lasting impact to influence further adaptations.

The live-action Cat in the Hat film didn’t have any references to the 1971 CitH special. Blue Sky’s Horton Hears a Who didn’t have any references to the Chuck Jones adaptation. Illumination’s The Lorax didn’t have any references to the 1972 special. Netflix’s Green Eggs and Ham didn’t have any references to the GEaH segment of Dr. Seuss on the loose.

But if you’re doing a Grinch adaptation? You HAVE to make the Grinch green even though the original book’s illustrations were just black, white, and red, and you HAVE to include some version of the “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” song. Both the live-action movie with Jim Carrey and the Illumination version had those elements even though they were both invented by Chuck Jones.
