God’s deepest desire is to live in human flesh.

Like Mary, we accept God’s invitation,

allowing Jesus to become flesh in us, too;

to be seen and experienced in good thoughts, words and actions,

in deeds of loving-kindness which bring life to God’s people.

{Just a short x-mas fanfic. I didn’t have much time for pokeshipping week, sorry!, so here’s a cute and short fanfic!} __________________________________________________________

All I want for christmas is you...

The song echoed throughout the room.

Misty Waterflower, the 20 year old leader of the Cerulean gym, crunched her nose in disgust as the song played for the thousandth time.

There was a party held at the gym for christmas. Her sisters had invited some of their friends and distant family.

Misty had wanted to invite her friends too, but Brock was busy with his own family, Tracey went home and so did all her other friends too.

She grabbed some fruit punch. The party was nice, but she barely recognized anyone. The only people she did know were a few of her sisters friends. The distant family that were there...she had no idea who these people were.

She leaned against the table and sighed. If only her parents were still...

She shook her head.

No.

She shouldn't think about that.

Misty quickly drank her fruitpunch in one gulp. She then put it down onto the table next to her.

She should enjoy herself. It was not often that they held parties. (Mostly since her sisters were out modelling and acting and she and Tracey, who sometimes came to help, weren't really the greatest party planners.)

"Misty?"

She heard a male's voice and turned around, expecting for another one of her drunk uncles to come up to her and ask her about her love life.

But instead she was greeted by two familiar brown eyes, a red cap, a red jacket and a pikachu.

"Pikachu-pi!"

"A-Ash?" Misty stuttered.

He grinned sheepishly at her. "Hey..."

Pikachu leaped into her arms and nuzzled against her. Misty gave him a hug back and then looked at Ash again.

"What are you doing here?" She asked. "I thought that you were in Sinnoh for the anual pokemon champions competition."

"Pikaa..." Pikachu jumped down onto the table and grabbed a ketchup bottle to lick from.

Ash rubbed his neck. "I was...but now as a pokemon master, I actually don't have to participate!"

Misty narrowed her eyes at him and sweatdropped. "So you just skipped it?"

"Well..." Ash stepped closer to her. "I rather spend time with my girlfriend."

Misty blushed and avoided his gaze. "Right...I-I like it too...with my boyfriend..."

Ash noticed how she got a little bit embarrassed. Not that he would blame her. Although they had been dating for a year, they never really called each other that much by 'boyfriend' and 'girlfriend'.

"Misty..." He took her hands into his. Misty looked back at him with the same blush onto her cheeks. Ash smiled at her. "I really like you as my girlfriend."

Misty gulped as he moved closer and closer. She heard him whisper something, but she barely heard it as his lips made contact with hers.

Suddenly the party didn't seem to bad anymore.
