i spend so much energy trying to make/find fun creative things to add to my scripts and i’m not gonna gatekeep, so here’s some of the funniest/weirdest/lowkey best things i’ve added to any of my scripts (that I haven’t talked much about before):

-I can always find things I need.

-Santa is real

-People just??? trust me??? I could genuinely tell someone that world war two was between the australians and canadians and they’d just be like yeah that checks out

-I don’t have allergies bc i hate sneezing

-Every pair of shoes I own are comfy as hell

-My hair can’t get knotted/tangled

-no periods because f that for real

-I always win/I’m naturally good at card and board games.

-Babies/Animals like me and will stop crying/whining/etc. when i’m around.

-cigarettes taste good and aren’t bad for you. i wanna be lana del rey coded so bad i guess

-i will literally never be in a situation where i have to kill someone. (useful for more dangerous drs!!!)

-random beef with the funniest character imaginable. hp dr? me and susan bones are arch enemies. fame dr? me and pete davidson indirect tweet each other all the time complaining. avengers dr? me and the ancient one are fist fighting in the mirror dimension idc

-indestructible things. i am clumsy and stupid i need this in every dr.

-pages don’t rip out of notebooks on accident (this has been the bane of my existence since 9 years old)

-I always have a hair tie when i need one. because you think you won’t need one, and then the second you don’t have it, you need it.

-people don’t smell. lifesaver.

-*random character* knows i shifted but can’t do a goddamn thing about it/doesn’t care and just goes with it. my favorite examples are Shane Dawson (fame dr) and Professor Trelawny (HP dr)

-i can’t get hurt in stupid ways (stubbing toe, tripping, etc.)

-if someone tries to shoot me the gun will literally fly out of their hand lmao (again, useful for dangerous drs)

-i know everyone’s phone passwords

-infinite toilet paper (for dystopia/woods/etc. drs, but could just be useful every day tbh.)

-i’ve always got some kind of out of pocket one liner for when the situation is too awkward

-tattoos don’t hurt (i am a pussy)

-adding random side characters/completely new mfers to my scripts because if i’m constantly around these fine ass bitches i know everything about i might actually have a heart attack

-when someone’s mean to me they get some form of karma in the next 24 hours directly related to how mean they were. call me stupid? enjoy tripping up the stairs. push me over? i hope you enjoy biting into a sandwich only to find the bread is moldy.

i’m neurodivergent and hyperfixate a lot but my hyperfixation on shifting is so bizzare because it presents unlike any other hyperfixation i’ve had. like usually they’ll consume me every waking moment for a few weeks/months and then it’s gone until i get interested in it again like two years later. but shifting has like subtly integrated itself in my life. like i’m not CONSTANTLY thinking about it the way i do my other hyperfixations. it’s just…there. looming in the background. is this just what regularly liking something to a non-obsessive extent is? because i HATE it aldjskhdlajs

HP shifters I'm summoning you! Did you guys keep the plot or script Voldemort out? I'm really confused about what I should do. On one hand, I want to experience the plot, but also want to keep it tone down bc of trauma, obviously. What I've scripted so far is that Voldemort died for good after scarring harry, but I'm thinking about changing everything. do you guys think that scripting that the order defeated Voldemort but he came back in the same way, only that this time Harry's parents and everyone else is alive, and everyone fights together in the second Wizard war has too much plot holes? I Mini Shifted After Two and a Half Years of Trying

I’ve literally waited so long to write those words. I shifted. I freaking shifted. It’s real, and you can do it too.

Disclaimer: I am so excited and all over the place at the moment, so I am going to try and make this as organized and coherent as possible, but if it’s a little all over the place I’m sorry. I SHIFTED AND IM EXCITED!

Before the Shift:

I literally didn’t do anything special. I had done this two nights in a row and both nights it’s gone great for me. First night I dreamt of my DR and then last night I MINI SHIFTED, so this clearly works for me but doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll work for you.

Anyways, I just did my normal bed time routine after having a normal day and got in bed. I did a deep breathing meditation and then put on a subliminal (the subliminal I used was one of Slade’s from YouTube) and started to fall asleep. As I was falling asleep I did some affirmations. Here are the ones I’m currently cycling out:

“I expect to shift”

“I expect to open my eyes in my DR”

“I am detached from my CR”

“I am powerful”

“I expect to wake up in my DR”

“I expect to shift as soon as I fall asleep”

The Shift:

OKAY!!!!

I was dreaming like normal AND THEN I HAD A LUCID DREAM! I grounded myself, thought about making a portal, but there was a dream person there (and I remember someone telling me to ask them why I haven’t shifted and what’s stopping myself) so I walked up to them and asked “why haven’t I shifted” and they told me I need to get rid of all my fears. So I turned around and walked through a door and I told myself that walking through this door will make me wake up in my DR. As soon as I walked through the door it felt like I got sucked into a black hole lmao. It felt like I was falling from a really high height which freaked me out but I just kept telling myself “I am not afraid” “I am shifting” and I kept saying that over and over and then I woke up. I didn’t open my eyes right away though (this has something that’s been happening to me because I do the aff “I will only open my eyes in my DR”). Well, I didn’t think anything happened, so I was about to roll over and go back to sleep, but then I realized I couldn’t hear the subliminal that was playing when I fell asleep, and I couldn’t hear or feel my fan. I touched the bed (I still hadn’t opened my eyes) and it felt completely different. Different sheets and everything. Then for a second I could hear and feel my CR room, and then it would switch back again. And it did this like three or four times where I could feel my other bed, and then suddenly I could feel my DR bed and my dog next to me. Idk if I’m explaining this right, but the only way I can describe it is I literally think I was going back and forth between realities. I would be in my CR room one second, and then a different reality bed the next. I clearly wasn’t grounded because I opened my eyes here, but!!!!!!!

I know I shifted. I know for a fact I was not in my room for a good thirty seconds. I don’t know if it was my DR, but it definitely wasn’t this reality.

I am so excited. It’s real you guys. It’s real. Don’t give up. Keep trying. We’re gonna make it home. ❤️

SHIFTING TO MARAUDERS ERA: FACE CLAIMS

to the lovely anon that requested this chapter, thank you!!! ily <3

but okay, so my face claims list is very very long for this dr, but i'll paste screenshots of it here!

if you're wondering who aadarshini, aanya, benjamin, lavinia and inez are - they're all oc's of mine! i wanted to include more indian wizarding families, so i decided to take matters into my own hands.

↳ The Patil Family

the patil's are the family that the patil twins are born to (and because the patil's are pakistani in my dr, the twins are pakistani/tamil). benjamin is in the same year as the marauders at hogwarts and is close friends with james and i. this is mostly because the indian wizarding community in britain is small so most of us all know each other anyways. lavinia is the oldest, basically the school's golden girl. she's so smart and educated. inez is the youngest of the patil's and is the school's cinnamon roll. it's impossible to hate her! ben's the class clown that is submitting his assignments at 11:59:59. they're all members of gryffindor house, it basically runs in their blood.

↳ The Viswanathan Family

the viswanathan's are an entirely oc based family that i made up. they're a tamil wizarding family (much like us potters in my dr). they have two kids, aadarshini and adya who are three years apart. aadarshini who often goes by darsh or addy, is in the same year as the marauders and i. consequently, adya is three years younger than us. aadarshini is a ravenclaw and adya is a proud hufflepuff.

The three families often meet up for various events throughout the year and are incredibly close knit. We all celebrate Diwali together. James and Ben are often stuck in the middle of five teenage girls, which is a nightmare for them because together we can be very devious >:)

Eventually, Aadarishini and Benjamin get married at some point in the future and have the Patil twins (Padma and Parvati).

i also had some headcanons written about peter, because he's so underrated!! yes i know, canonically he did horrible horrible things. but in my dr voldemort doesn't exist, and peter is a CINNAMON roll, i love him. we're besties <3 so here you go! some pettigrew family backstory from my dr (copied and pasted directly from my script 😭):

↳ The Pettigrew Family

Peter Pettigrew grew up in the quiet suburbs of England with his mother and sister. His father walked out of their life when the siblings were still young, Peter’s memory of his Father is rather suppressed, and his younger sister Amelia barely remembers him at all. Peter was always a mother’s boy, and often refrains himself from getting into too much mischief, but of course with highschool comes peer pressure but the guilt of his first ever detention haunts him, and he’s refused to ever get into something that bad since. He’d rather sit it out with Mary or Remus than be involved in anything that could hurt someone else. Amelia Pettigrew is two years younger than Peter, the siblings are very very close - and Peter takes much care in making his sister happy. Amelia is a shy Hufflepuff, but character development is good to her and eventually she learns to stand her ground.

⊹ Now, the only way to open the passage is by tapping barrel 2 from the bottom, in the middle of the second role, in the rhythm of “Helga Hufflepuff”. The wrong barrel, rhythm, or number of tapping will result in a lead bursting off and soaking the trespasser in vinegar.

↳ Professor Sprout asks for students to stop freaking out for not getting the right beat on the barrel. We get it, you’re soaking wet. But try to relax, for Merlin’s sake! You’re making a trail of vinegar and house-elves keep slipping on it!

⊹ When you’ve passed the sloping earthy passage inside the barrel and finally entered the door of the Rabbit Hole, you’ll see our circular-shaped common room. Here is a very welcoming place to stay. People usually lie on couches trying to snuggle up (which is why we have a ton of blankets) or tending to the sheer number of plants that surround the room.

⊹ Is true that we are in the basement, but it always feels sunny here! There are windows in the common room that look out onto the rippling grass and dandelions of the school grounds, and the common room itself never gets too hot in the summer, and never too cold in the winter either! Here it is always full of colourful flowers, plants and various cacti that do not stop dancing for the students. Oh, and speaking of plants, I might remind you, don’t forget to feed the carnivorous plants!

⊹ There are two round rabbit hole doors under the stairs. They’ll take you to the girls’ and boys’ dorms, and now that you know the common room, you’re free to go to your dorm whenever you like!

↳ Hufflepuff students, please don’t try to play with the Whomping Willow! We all know that is very intriguing, but it’s a big old tree that doesn’t want to be disturbed and has very little patience.

⊹ I think that the common room has two floors. I don’t know why, but it just makes sense to me that it would be because of the large number of students.

⊹ There’s a small barrel passage on the wall of the common room, which leads you to the kitchen, and is only used by house-elves, who bring one of Helga’s food recipes every day to the Hufflepuff students.
