Can you do headconon of naruto boys how they would react if their s/o is an unintentional flirt. So if someone comes up and starts flirting but they just think they are being nice and accidentally starts flirting back. I'm talking rock lee level ignorance.

author's note: oh, I love this idea! The request didn't specify which Naruto boys should I so, so I decided to do it for Naruto, Kiba and Shikamaru (since they are the first ones I got the inspiration for). Thank you so much for requesting and I hope you enjoy!

➤ Naruto

I love Naruto, he is one of my fav boys, but the truth is he can be quite ignorant at times too (especially when it comes to flirting).

It would take him quite a long time to realise someone is flirting with his s/o, he would probably think they are just being nice too.

Same goes for his partner - if they flirt back, he would not pay too much attention to it at first, assuming that they are just being nice and keeping up the conversation going.

It would take the other person touching his s/o or getting too close to them for his liking, for him to realise that maybe their intentions are not as innocent as he initially thought.

He is totally the type of guy to butt in the conversation while embracing his s/o from behind and glaring at the person who is trying to get their attention.

I don't think he would say anything at first but given his puffed chest and the slight growl coming out of his chest, it would be so obvious he is jealous.

Naruto would NEVER blame his s/o - he is the type of partner who no matter what his loved one does, he would always justify it and excuse it.

If the other person doesn't get the hint they need to back off, he would just end the conversation with an abrupt "goodbye", before picking his s/o and leaving.

Would totally seek validation and comfort from his s/o through the remainder of the day, as well as clinging to their side and pampering them with kisses and attention.

➤ Kiba

I feel like Kiba is already quite a jealous man, so seeing someone flirt with his s/o is enough to trigger him.

Before his partner can even reply or flirt back, he would be already next to them, giving the person who dared to so openly compliment them a piece of his mind.

He doesn't hold back - he would be quite aggressive, poking his finger in their chest and baring his fangs.

Now, if his s/o actually flirt back, he would be quite upset (even tho it was unintentional).

I feel like he would definitely know his partner can be quite playful with others (this is how they managed to win his heart, after all), but he is so influenced by his emotions, that he would totally start a fight afterward.

Like how can his s/o not know this guy was flirting with them?

And they replied back? They should've just walked away!

I love Kiba, but I imagine he can be quite childish about relationship stuff, so he is totally the one to pout for a few days and maybe even give his s/o the silent treatment.

Luckily, his jealousy and anger pass pretty quickly, so he will be at his s/o doorstep muttering awkward apologies pretty soon after.

➤ Shikamaru

He is not the type to openly show his feelings, so I really doubt he would say anything if he saw such a situation unfolding before him.

Shikamaru is both annoyed and disappointed - more by his s/o than the other person.

I would imagine he knows his s/o can be an unintentional flirt and he already had a few talks with them before about it, so why do they keep doing it?

I feel like even though his partner genuinely thought they were just being nice, Shikamaru would more or less see this as some form of betrayal.

He wouldn't care about the other person as much as Naruto and Kiba, nor he would cause a scene - at the end of the day, he was in a relationship with his s/o, so they were the ones owing him loyalty, and the respect of not flirting with others.

Would TOTALLY glare holes at them tho!

He wouldn't confront his lover straight away, instead he would probably distance himself for a while, so he could cool off and think the situation over.

His s/o better let him be - I feel like he is the type of person that he would come when he is ready. If he feels pressured before that, there is a high chance he will lash out and say stuff that he doesn't really mean.

It would probably take a week or two for him to feel comfortable talking about it and when he does he would make sure to carefully explain to his s/o how to recognize signs of when someone is just being nice and when someone is trying to actually get with them.

Dagny waited for their new arrivals with the rest of the girls, some of them were passing a ball between them while Dagny watched her phone, confused her girlfriend hadn't texted her.

A vibration makes the skipper look down and Dagny sighs when she sees it is just a new post from West Ham women, welcoming their new signing.

Flicking her phone open, Dagny lets out a call of shock at her girlfriend's face staring back at her, Mackenzie laughs, having known about the transfer and spins her skipper to face her girlfriend.

y/n was lent against the tunnel entrance, the new signings of Riko already talking to others with her translator. y/n looked fantastic in the hammer's shirt and Dagny could feel the breath leave her.

How hadn't she known, how hadn't she'd guessed? All the hints obvious now, her Hammer puns, her change in colour for her wardrobe.

"Ertu búin að ná þér, ástin mín?" y/n asked her girlfriend with a chuckle.

The two pull away and turn to the team who are all mock gagging and y/n rolls her eyes before Mackenzie grins widely and runs at her happily.

"Macca!" y/n laughs as the woman scoops her up tightly and spins.

"Skipper's mrs!" Mackenzie yells and there is an echo of laughter.

"No ring no mrs!" y/n yells back as she is finally placed back on her feet the rest of the team coming to greet her.

Dagny only smiles softly at her lover before the group are called away ready for training.

"You're here." Dagny hums as she takes her girlfriend's hand softly.

"I'm here." y/n reassures as they join the group.

some notes about this absolute madness:

I feel like they fit the element but also some traits of the mlp characters too so I will add that when it's necessary

When I talk about the mugiwara's dreams I assume they've already reached them bc the story is not finished yet like mlp and I KNOW THEY WILL ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS anyways

Please don't have high expectations ahhh I don't wanna end up feeling like I thought something cool and it ended up being lame, I'm not used to writing or explaining stuff this way (and in english tho oof double brain work)

I'll put a everything under a read more bc it ended up being long and also uhh CW: spoilers for both series yeah

✦ Magic: First of all and obvious reason, main character lol.

Character who gathered the group in the first place

Royalty !!! King of the Pirates!!! Princess of Friendship!!! besides the fact that Luffy's dream is becoming the king and Twilight just had to do it etc etc

Very powerful mentor who's far away but encouraged them to start their journey and find their friends

They're not similar in personality at all I get it lmao

✦ Kindness: oof do I need to say anything

Sanji is kind, that's like one of the traits that made him one of my fav characters (more than his totally badass habilities).

and of course that's one of his most important traits

His mother sacrificed everything and celebrated everytime he showed his kindness, he was a sweet child, he's soft with children and helps anyone who's in need.

He's so full of emotion and can go from the softest to the meanest in a second if he needs to (flashbacks to fluttershy literally confronting a bigass dragon, making him cry and leave bc he was mean to her friends)

Also both characters are certified Friends of the Little Critters ™ and can't fly very well

Special mention to Pinkie Pie here, since she shares the "Third child who stands out like a sore thumb from his other siblings because she's weird to her family standards" backstory with Sanji

✦ Loyalty: That's like one of Zoro's main character traits right? He's in the air before Luffy says jump

Cool, they're just cool and probably the most liked characters + the ones who sell more merch for sure lol

Both have a childhood dream, becoming the best swordsman/wonderbolt, but that doesn't push them to leave their friends to achieve it alone + having friends actually helps them reach their goals

hot headed kids + dumbass sometimes

✦ Honesty: The group's voice of reason

Character that pretends to be okay but hell naw she's not ok (AJ harvesting sweet apple acres and almost dying / Nami Pretending to be Arlong's little trustworthy human so she can save her village) until their friends help them to be honest and ask for help

Also they have similar lifes cultivating apples/tangerines with their families and I thought that was cute hehe

✦ Generosity: SCREAMS Chopper my little chop chop I love u my sweet child

The way that Rarity shows her element is usually by giving away something important to her (her time, her talent with fashion, HER FRIGGIN' TAIL) so she can help other people (creatures?) feel better, and there's no signs of repentance after that, she does it with her heart (and sometimes to show that she can make things fabulous)

This brings me to Chopper looking for the mushroom to cure Dr. Hiriluk's illness and showing up at his door all hurt but he's like heyy I got the thing. I understand that's another kind of "sacrifice" The way he showed his thankfulness to his mentor by risking his life looking for the mushroom and trying to prove that he's a good doctor too (even tho uhh we know how that ended)

This was a little bit more difficult to connect with his element and that's why I was in between choosing kindness and generosity for him, but

kindness had to be sanji's element for suree

Dr Kureha specifically told him that "kindness wasn't enough to save lives" and I won't contradict her she scares me so much

AND I feel like Chopper's generosity it's shown all along the show just by treating all those injured pirates over and over again for free lmao

My overall feeling when giving him the element was "He's a little doctor, of course he's generous, doctors are generous enough to learn how to save lives! so we don't like.. die! next question"

✦ Laughter:

This one was pretty simple too, I love Usopp bc he makes me laugh a lot, he's such a comedic relief for the story and also: my best friend in the whole wide world, yes *gives him a lil kiss*

Of course he's not just a comedic relief, he tries to make things easier trying to solve conflicts (sometimes) or joining the sillyness (most of times)

Also they like to tell stories! I feel like that's a cute trait that makes both characters more interesting, even when someone's stories are lies *eyes emoji* I like storyteller characters a lot !!

they're good with kids + tell them stories too !!

also the whole.. alter ego thing, yeah

SO IM GONNA GO AHEAD AND SHARE WHOSE WHO FIRST

Jay- Grian, it made the most sense in my head, but I actually flip flopped on this so many times bc he also works so well as Tim or Alex, but at some point I went "wait it's an au, we can see how the story changes with Grian as the protag" so Grian's the protag now

Tim/Masky- Scar, I'm a transparent desert duo enjoyer and had a similar flip flop with him as I did Grian bc he'd also work as Jay but I was halfway through that drawing and had a similar thought process to the one i had abt Grian

Brian/Hoodie- Jimmy, I wanted to keep the cast focused to life series and evo members and he made the most sense to me lore wise, especially with the idea that in this au he was one of the ones with the earliest exposure to The Watcher (bc I love Canary Curse symbolism)

Alex- This one was the toughest choice bc no matter what a fav is going to loose it. Good thing this based on the Life Series! As much as I Love the idea of Joel and Lizzie as Alex and Amy, I actually went with Martyn. Again, the character is pretty involved with the Watcher Lore so it made the most sense as the character that is arguably most effected by it. (Although for a brief moment I considered Mumbo Jumbo bc,,, how fucking funny would that be)

Jessica- Jessica's gotta be Pearl right? It makes the most sense for it to be Pearl, I don't even need reasoning for this it makes sense

Amy- So who's Amy then? Scott actually! He's not Martyn's boyfriend in this, he's just a really good friend of his who was super involved in the production. Also like in mh, he's Pearl's roommate.

Sarah- Ren. Can't have a life series au featuring desert duo and not have some renchanting. Who else would be one of the leading actors in Martyn's short film?

Seth- Big B, again Evo connection made sense to me, and depending on your own personal theory on who the third person running the totheark account is, both Big B and Ren have interesting implications, even if both their rolls are p minor in this au

With the cast out of the way other questions !!!

It's set in a kind of nebulous time frame that's probably a little closer to present day, but it does still start with a student film project. When asked Why Martyn chose to use tapes he says something about wanting a more authentic feel to the film but in reality he just thought using tapes was a cool idea and doesn't want to admit that it's kind of impractical now.

In this au Scar doesn't smoke, but instead I like the headcannon that he just has boxes of candy/bubblegum cigarettes on him at all times. He'll pull one out, pause, and offer one to someone and when they say no he's just like "Okay, your loss" and watch as they get all confused when he starts unwrapping it asdfghkgkdjhfjsh

Is Grian gay in this au? Whose to say. (Real answer tho, I'm a notorious Jam shipper and while I'm not an active shipper when it comes to hermitcraft or the life series, I don't really mind it so the relationship is left kind of ambiguous)

Normally Prince Bubblegums castle was boring and going over there was only fun if you wanted to annoy the uptight monarch. However, Marshall Lee knew y/n was going to be over there for some council meeting for her kingdom so how could he skip out on that. He needed to spend as much time with her as possible, especially when Fionna would be there as well.

Fionna was his “rival” as of now. Only because it was obvious just how bad she had it for y/n. She was always so nice to everyone it’s obvious why Fiona would like her, but still. Marshall was dead set on charming the girl. Even though Gumball begged the vampire to not “corrupt the mind of his general”. Pfft. As if he, okay he did understand that point of view. However, the sweetest and most badass fighter in the kingdom with the coolest and most handsomest vampire in the Nightosphere would obviously be the best couple.

So Marshall got all ready for the meeting and when he arrived both the Prince and General were waiting for everyone. "Why hello y/n, may I say you look exceedingly dangerous and deadly for this council meeting." Her cheeks turn a soft pink while Bubblegum rolls his eyes, she was so easily smitten.

"Good evening Marshall, why thank you. You look exceptionally lethal as well. I wasn't expecting you to show up to this meeting however, what changed you mind?"

"Eh you know, how could I pass up seeing your pretty face." She giggles as more guests start to arrive. He was always one to flatter. It was like second nature to him by now. Marshall Lee was nothing if not charming.

Before he can speak he gets interrupted by a familiar blonde. "Hi y/n! You ready for this meeting?" Fionna smiles at y/n who returns the look.

"Of course. What kind of General would I be if I wasn't always up to date on the affairs of my armies and the people they protect." She was always so noble. So good. Maybe that's why they both showed interest in her. Fionna was the epitome of a good person, and that obviously drew her in.

However, Marshall was not a good person. No matter how you spun it he was selfish and did things for his own gain rather than the good of everyone else. Y/n was selfless. The opposite of him. So in some ways Gumball was right, but he wouldn't let that stop him. "Shall we all gather inside then." Gumball says to catch everyone's attention.

All of the attendees follow the two candy people into the royal meeting room where Gumball sits at the head of table with y/n on his right side and a banana guard on his left. Marshall quickly rushes to take the seat next to y/n before Fionna can take it. And when he does the girl blushes almost furiously.

With a triumphant smirk Marshall sits down and waits for Prince Gumball to start the meeting. "As you know there have been a series of attacks on the outer perimeter of the kingdom especially near the southeastern perimeter. Y/n has scoped out the area and we have reason to believe it's thieves that are attempting to steal royal artifacts. I called you here to assemble a team to take them out for good."

Many people look around the room to try and guess who will volunteer or be volunteered. "I have drafted a select group, and I hope there is no protest with the fighters I have picked. Y/n will lead one troop of banana soldiers and accompanying her will be Fionna, Cake, Marshall Lee, and I will allow y/n to bring Lord Monochromicorn. Sound good?"

Of course y/n nods her head dutifully while the rest of them accept the job. "You should go at once. Y/n has packed all the necessary supplies and Lord is waiting for her and Fionna outside. Please let me know if there is anything else you need." Marshall may think of Pg as snobby, but he still was a pretty good leader.

The assigned group follows their pseudo leader to the garden where Lord Monochromicorn was waiting with an unreadable face. He stomps his foot on the ground noticing y/n approach. "Yep. We're all set Lord. You ready?" The stallion stomps his hoof in agreement.

"Great! Come on Fiona and put Cake on too." Fionna looks back at Marshall with a smirk. She was so winning the general over. Marshall huffs under his breath. Stupid show off. Y/n simply starts to have Lord Monochromicorn take flight, not noticing their silly antics.

Fionna looks back towards Marshall before starting to talk to y/n, she just knew how much this bothered him. "So uh y/n what exactly are we facing here."

"Hmm? I think it's just some bandits, but we don't know what magical artifacts they have already stolen so we must remain vigilant. Wouldn't want anyone getting hurt after all." She smiles as Monochromicorn starts to lower and get closer to the ground.

Immediately arrows start to shoot at the group when they start to land. “Those jerks. They won’t even give us a chance to land. Lord just avoid as best as you can.” He nods at the generals orders and dodges the projectiles. “Marshall Lee can you take out the shooting squad?” The vampire nods and makes quick work of the losers carrying bows and arrows.

“Yo y/n those guys are barely a threat! This is kinda fun!” The girl nods before unsheathing her sword and grabbing her shield. She stands up making Fionna and Cake confused, before either of them can say anything the girl just lets herself fall backwards towards the oncoming battle.

“Y/N!” Fionna shouts out watching the general flip through the air. When she lands on the ground her normally sweet face is dead serious.

She points her sword out towards the army waiting to fight. “You have threatened my kingdom and home, for that I must beat you to a pulp.” The bandits look at one another confused until the one woman army bounds forward clutching her sword with insane determination.

Fionna and Cake hurry after her when the banana guards start to arrive. Y/n fights off the attackers almost three at a time. Each one failing against her skill with her blade. Fionna watches in awe at how fluid her movements were until Cake had to save her from a sneak attack. “I think you’d be better off watching your own back instead of hers.”

Marshall leaves a trail of knocked out bandits behind him as he makes his way towards y/n, he’d be damned if she didn’t see how well he fought. “Marshall! Air support?” She calls out when she notices his presence. The immortal smirks before flying over to her and lifting her by her hand.

“Beautiful time to fly huh gorgeous?” Her face burns red before she promptly lets go and drops herself onto a handful of fighters using her shield to cushion the landing. “Damn she’s hot.” Marshall mumbles under his breath before helping her take out the rest of the bandits.

“Hey general! I think this is what they stole!” Fi shouts out from the other side of the field holding up a bag filled with gems and other objects. Y/n walks over while putting her weapons back to where they normally sit. She nods at Fionna and takes the bag.

“Perfect. This is exactly what we had lost in our outposts. Why Pg had artifacts in the outposts beyond me.”

“So what now?” Fionna asks aloud as Lord Monochromicorn soon joins them.

“We go home? I mean I can whip us up some food or something when we get back to celebrate if you want.” She smiles at the three before the incoming argument.

“Y/n I love you!” Marshall slowly turns towards Fionna who covers her mouth from her outburst.

“You sneaky little witch! I was gonna ask her out and here you go ruining stuff!”

The two continue to bicker while Cake, Lord Monochromicorn, and y/n all watch in stunned silence. “Uh Cake did you have any clue about this?” Cake nods. “So why didn’t you tell me?”

“I didn’t think the two dummy’s would fight right in front of you.” Cake’s insult finally catches their attention.

Marshall pushes Fionna to the side and rushes towards y/n. “What do you say y/n? You, me, dinner? Maybe even a concert?”

Fionna bumps him out of the way in return. “Nuh uh! Y/n! We can sharpen our swords and then go on an adventure together!”

Y/n stands there when they start trying to push one another out of the way. “Ahem.” She clears her throat to shut them up. “I’m going to be honest, Marshall Lee I was interested in you since we met at Lumpy Space Prince’s party, but I was also interested in Fionna when we started going t battle together.”

Both potential suitors watch nervously waiting for her to choose. “Gah I just can’t pick! You both are so amazing! Why do I have to choose!”

“If that’s what you want princess.” Marshall Lee smiles at her and grabs her hand.

“I mean I guess I don’t mind sharing with Marshall.” Fionna mumbles.

“Wait huh. Really?” Y/n questions still not believing. Both of them nod. Y/n lights up and smiles. “That’s perfect! Now can I still make some lunch?”

Hotel Heart by Laughsalot3412 (and its sequel Safe as Houses): not quite romance but not NOT romance ot3 leverage psychics au where eliot is a hitman who used to be under the control of a horrible empath who left him with major mental scars and huge trust issues. he reluctantly ends up protecting another empath (hardison) and thief (parker) and sloooowly starts to work through the aforementioned trauma while they take down the aforementioned evil empath together. excellent series with excellent pangy plot. also i knew nothing about leverage when i first read it and it’s what got me to watch the show.

Hold my Eyes to the Sky by myrmidryad: an enjoltaire/les mis longfic set in a 1970s(?) wizarding au in which grantaire is a very sad and lonely werewolf and the idealistic activist he’s hopelessly in love with just got himself turned as well, and grantaire has to help him navigate the changes while dealing with his own self-worth issues and tragic backstory. you want whump? look no further.

Occultation by Geese_in_flight & pineapplesquid: a novel-length au of the book Winter’s Orbit, in which the main difference is that kiem, not jainan, is the one dealing with a previous, horrible arranged marriage. somehow this simple switch brings so much fresh potential to the characters (i loved seeing how this played into kiem’s self-worth issues, and also loved this exploration of what jainan’s character would be like if he had been able to flourish the last few years), with a whole new set of pangs. i recommend both the book and the fic!

爱不释手; never let me go by yiqie: a post-cql wangxian getting together fic with the classic amounts of yiqie pain & pining & h/c & devastatingly beautiful writing about the devastatingly beautiful experience of being in love. also blood. honestly most fics by yiqie probably fulfill this request (are you into vashwood, perhaps?)

Morning, keep the streets empty for me by feyburner: a wangxian modern au oneshot with self-sacrificing wei ying getting into trouble and landing himself in the hospital while pining very very hard for his cultivation partner. i’m reccing this one out of all feyburner fics because it has the obvious physical hurt but fey is so good at weaving pangs into fic that tbh there’s emotional whump to be found in most of them. also, god-tier writing in general.

the kite string and the anchor rope by fleurdeliser: a wangxian canon-divergence au that falls into the sickfic whump subgenre. the pangs! wangxian’s love for each other and for a-yuan and the way wwx’s desperation and powerlessness in the face of a sick child (and his own illness) clash with how the world perceives him at the time is so 🤌🤌. this is saved in my h/c favs folder for a reason.

The Long Way Home by itsnatalie: extremely whumpy batfam tim & jason fic, which i’ve definitely rec’d here before but if i’m reccing whumpy longfics it HAS to be on the list. good god this fic is a masterpiece, both for the angst and for the absolute beautiful worldbuilding/navigation of its horror tropes.

and since you like bbts, i’ll also self-rec a few of my older fics! i think you’d probably enjoy this river runs to you, a wangxian/mdzs modern cultivation longfic feat. (sort of) identity shenanigans, angsty backstories, self-worth issues, and the main character getting all manner of hurt. also: you’re the trouble that i always find, a wenzhou/shl dreamsharing/amnesia/sort-of-timeloop fic in which the main character is supposed to dream about killing his love interest but said love interest keeps dreamcrashing to change the plot.

this reclist could’ve been dozens of fics long tbh. i live for The Pangs which usually go hand in hand with good whump, and seek those fics out whenever possible, so as always this is a super incomplete reclist! also i welcome any and all recs in return.

so this is my take on human Caine

keep in mind that this is all my headcanons and imagination, and I'm going with the theory that he is an AI and he wasn't a human before

(again it's my hc!) also minor tw for drvg mention

so going with that logic, man is an AI, for his whole life all he was, was lines of numerical codes and suddenly he's thrown into this world and becomes a human, as we all are aware a human body needs to comply to the laws of physics, biology, etc., it has needs that need to be taken care of for it to function right which an AI in a digital world doesn't need to do so imo all of that had to mess with his head a lot, I think that there is a high possibility that he would experience some kind of body dysphoria, he would feel that this isn't HIS body, that something isn't right, something doesn't fit etc., that would be pretty logical

complete change of how his brain operates (idk what he had as an AI but let's also call it a brain lol), human body operates on five basic senses, which is something that he didn't have to submit to, the list of "senses" he had as an AI in a digital world is probably long as fuck and now he has to lean on only five basic ones? that gotta suck and be absolutely difficult (which should be obvious, imagine suddenly becoming blind or deaf, now you need to learn to operate with even less senses than you had, fucking sucks), back in the digital world he could do practically everything with little effort and now? he is limited by this human body/world and all the laws it needs to obey

still on those senses, I think they are all over the place because of the sudden change so he would be prone to sensory overloads or something like that

he literally needs to learn all social rules, written and unwritten, and overall the basis our world works on, which we had YEARS to learn about as we grew up, and yeah as an AI he had some info about humans and our world 'cause he had direct contact with us back in the digital world but it wouldn't be even close to enough to live here among us (heh) completely out of nowhere

because of all of this, I think that he would be a total train wreck and he would be very prone to fall into some unhealthy habits, like for example imo he could easily get addicted to drugs (idk what kind tho), he takes some pills and he can "get back" to his old life at least for a moment? sign him up! for that short period of time, he could feel "right" again, he could have control again [I'm also leaning towards the idea that he could develop some kind of control issues considering who he was back in the digital world as an AI], drugs give you a high which on you can imagine/hallucinate/feel a lot of things so yeah, he could easily get addicted to those, especially if his trips would revolve around him being back in his digital world, his home

and nope, it's not me projecting onto my fav character yet again, not at all (I'm a big liar)

but fr tho, I think it would make sense if he actually was an AI who was never a human and somehow he got out of the digital world with all circus crew

and I made a visual of him in a picrew! (if anyone will want it, I will drop the link to it)

I made some small adjustments in ibis paint lol, like the eye color and the roughly drawn Glasgow smile scars (for some reason it just fits him??? cause he was literally all teeth and it connected in my brain??? idk but my mental imagine of him as a human has those scars, can't do anything about it) + a bit longer lines under his eyes

he would look like he's in his really late 20's or early 30's

like reader has the BIGGEST crush on larry but they’re way too anxious to confess. so their pokémon are constantly pushing them towards larry n vice versa so they can confess already. also pls give the reader ghost type pokémon bc i love them so dearly <3 mayhaps you could give them.. non-paldea pokémon like aegislash and cofagrigus bc those are my top favs. it’s up to you tho!!

Larry With Reader Who Is Too Anxious To Confess

- Larry is a very busy man - that overtime isn’t going to work itself - so the time you spend together is rather limited. And rather awkward considering both of your pushy Pokemon who seem to have made it their sole priority to get you to pester you about something or other. (Not that he has much room to talk, his Staraptor manages to nag him at least once per day.) Your Aegislash subtly guiding your hand near his or your Cofagrigus attempting to trip you into him does not work like they want it to. Still, he greatly enjoys your company and his practice at work has honed his skill in ignoring things into a fine blade.

- His self-esteem isn’t the best, so Larry will jump through hoops to find an explanation for your Pokemon’s behavior, no matter how obvious the real answer may be. Come hell or high water, Larry is almost determined to be as dense as humanly possible. He likes you, a lot, and he doesn’t want the friendship you have to be ruined. You can do better than him.

- His Staraptor is worse than your Pokemon combined. It’s fussy and loud. When it’s not plucking stray gray hairs from his head, it’s trying to get the two of you sitting as close as possible. Eventually, after a frustrating amount of mutual pining, it started wreaking havoc on Larry's couch. He knows what Staraptor wants, but he truly doesn’t believe you feel the same.

- You Cofagrigus succeeded once or twice in getting you in his arms. Larry is perceptive when it comes to you, so when he saw you trip, he caught you. His hands lingered on your shoulders for a little too long as he steadied you, and you could see his face turn a cute shade of pink.

- One time, Staraptor got Larry to trip onto you. It did not go as planned. Larry is tall and not exactly coordinated from all those hours sitting at his desk, so he finds himself sprawled on top of you before he realizes it. You’re laughing. You’re laughing when all he wants to do is sink into the dirt and never return. At least it’s a nice laugh.

- Larry eventually confesses after getting a little tipsy at the Treasure Eatery. He had a horrible day at work so you offered to buy drinks. Fortunately, he’s a lightweight with very loose lips, and all those months of build-up come to a head when he confesses. When you tell him you return his feelings, he looks stunned, and when you tell him your Pokemon kept trying to get you to confess, Larry’ll let out a rare laugh. It’s deep and contagious and straight from his gut.

- “Really…? I thought they were sick or something.”

- “Sick for six months?” You laugh.

- He scrubs his face with his hands to hide his blush. “...Yeah.”

I truly made this acc so I can ramble about my favs so I’ll start with random headcanons for my girlfriend Johnny cage <3

-> I believe he gets REALLY pissed when he gets called a “nepobaby” or something along those lines by the media because 1) his family wasn’t famous before him and 2) he is really prideful of the work he has put to get to where he is.

-> daddy issues..mommy issues…everything issues (it was obvious 😭) I do believe while he has complica feelings about it he does get along with his mom, keeps it very superficial tho. He definitely hates his brother and dad.

-> his parents divorced while he was a teen and it was MESSY part of the reason why his divorce with Cris crushed him so much was because he felt just like his dad

-> his family (including extended family) always had a very obvious preference for his brother, part of it is because growing up his brother was the more “charismatic” one and also he was doing excellent at school while Johnny struggling in most of his classes and he was an awkward kid.

-> also his family took his brother more seriously because he pursue “serious” careers while Johnny always wanted to be an actor.

-> part of me believes johnny was a child actor and that was probably the worst period of his life, he got taken advantage of not only by older directors and producers but also his own family.

-> all of the money he did as a child actor was never used on him, not even for important things, most of it went to payments for all the debts they had (courtesy of his dad) and the left over was focused on payment for his brother’s college since he was studying for becoming a lawyer (courtesy of his mother since “Jimmy is becoming a lawyer to help the law he’s priority”)

-> to elaborate more on his and his mom’s relationship: I do believe she later own realized her own mistakes although since she’s stubborn as hell she never properly apologized and also realized wayy to late so the damage is already very done. He still loves her dearly because she did showed more care to him than his dad, it’s just too complicated so he rather keep her at arms length.

-> since going through the burden of child acting, he have always advocated for them, when he has young co-stars he always treats them with respect and it’s even super friendly with them joking around and even offering them junk food or desserts. A popular backstage story about him is the time he work with a crew of teen actors and after a hard day of filming he took them to an arcade and paid for absolutely everything, till this day even after the kids grew up they still recall that story with fondness.

-> another popular story of his was when he stood up for a kid who was being treated unfairly by the studio of one of his films, stoping the whole production until the issue got solved and the kid was ok.

-> I just think Johnny likes kids man, he’s like the weird but cool uncle, he is lowkey afraid of being a father for the fear he will end up like his

-> in a funnier note, in his universe he was the one who said the legendary Tom hardy quote: “I’m an actor, of course i had gay sex”

-> bisexual Johnny 100% he’s not even officially out but everyone and their mother knows

-> he was in the “my wife and I saw you from across the bar” situation with a popular Hollywood couple but he won’t say who..

-> he met Cris when he was still a unknown actor, she was the producer’s assistant in the short film he was in, she was the first person who not only saw through his bs but also actually believed he was going to be a big actor one day, definitely one of his closest friends before dating. Unfortunately we all know how that ended..

-> I do believe some day long after their divorce Johnny does reach out and apologizes, they definitely never go back to date since she moved on and is genuinely happier with her new partner, but they slowly rebuild their friendship, at the end they were friends first and foremost.

-> Cris and him definitely gossip a lot after rebuilding their friendship, she constantly pokes fun at him once she figures who is his crush 👀.

-> he definitely has a big crush on kenshi, it’s almost ridiculous, sadly he is severely emotionally repressed (just like his man) and thinks kenshi deserves someone better than him he also still believes kenshi blindness it’s his fault for being too weak oops

GUYS!!

I was listening to Charlotte's ending (because, being honest, that anime has the most beautiful music in the story of anime and sometimes I just need to hear it again— damn it why does it have to have such a story) and I thought 'I wish there was a lcf crossover with og cale of this'. Which, great idea, actually.

So I started to daydream about it (instead of writing anything as the procrastinator that I am) and my first thought was that it has to be a sort of happier life, since the anime ended like that (specially for the Otosaka siblings, overall the Otosaka siblings). So my brain said "hey, why don't put the main cast in the Northeast families? Nao now has to deal with Eric's dorkness". So I went with it and tried to figure out 'which northeast family gets what charlotte character?'

I wanted to put Yuu in the Henituse family because the ending destroyed me, damn it, I want him to be happy. And his little sister— wait didn't they had an older sibling too? (I can't believe I forgot about Shunsuke ;∆; I'm so sorry. You were my fav)

Then I realized—

OG CALE AND SHUNSUKE ARE BASICALLY THE SAME FUCKING PERSON!

Protective older siblings? Check. Selfsacrifical bastards ready to throw themselves for their family? Check. A strange relationship with time? Check. Elegant warm smile that reaches the eyes? Check. Absolutely badass hidden character? Check. Charming as fuck? Also fucking check.

They both even have the same 'I hold the key to salvation you need' and 'I wnt back in time so they won't be doomed' roles!

So—

Nao, Joujirou, Yusa, Misa, and Kumagami (he's the guy who located people with powers in the map and he was Shunsuke's best friend. He matters to me, okay?) are all reborn in the northeast families. Nao is Eric's younger sister. Yusa and Misa are twins and Gilbert's pain in the ass. Koujirou, the poor bastard, is born in the Stan family and runs away at the first chance. Kumagami is Amiru's older sibling who owns a shop because Ubarr is a matriarchal family (fuck thanks) and he needs to pay his meals (he may or may not be going for his third life. And he may or may not be a certain someone).

And the Otosaka's? They're reincarnated as the Henituse siblings... who have no idea the others remember their past lives.

They do, however, know who the others were.

Lily is the first one to remember. It take her some time to put the pieces together and realize that her dreams are not just dreams. That said, she recognized Bassen immidiately. He's still as sweet with her as before and, although her oppa may not realize, he can be quite unhinged sometimes. (That's fine tho. Most of them are.)

She lasts more to recognize Cale. She and her orabeoni aren't so close, she doesn't know him that well. That's why it takes her some old blurred memories from when she barely could walk and a bad night to notice. Ayumi's Shunsuke and Lily's Cale are the same person. After that the soft spot her orabeoni has for them becomes so obvious to her that she has to ask herself if she was blind before. Scary? Trash? Pshh, orabeoni was the biggest softy in the world. Let alone people, he doesn't like harming bugs. He picks them up and puts them outside so the servants won't squash them. Why do people think he would hit anyone?

Bassen cringes at his past life choices. He can't believe he used to be so— so— irresponsible. How embarrasing.

He's kind of surprised and sad at how good student his brother was. Not because he didn't think he's smart enough, but because he didn't expect him to effort so much at it. And if he did before, why did he drop his studies this time? Knowing all what he does now, he has the feeling that it must be either something stupidly self-sacrifical or something really important he decided not to tell anyone.

Lily seems to him pretty much the same but with a liking for swords. Good. Luckily, this way she would be able to protect herself this time. And gosh, isn't he reliaved they don't have those powers this time? No more accidental collapsing buildings for her.

Cale is the last one to remember that life. He's also the only one to remember their future life and probably the only one who knows why they remembered. Just like he tends to do with most things, he doesn't tell anyone about it (except Kumagami) until it comes up in a conversation or it's needed. (Alberu is a little bit jealous about this. Why does that guy gets to know but not him? Aren't they close too? Does he not trust Alberu as much? Thankfully someone has the mind to tell him that that's just how they used to be. And also because Kumagami seems is, as far as they know, the only one of Shunsuke's circle of friends that came to this world with them.)

His siblings? Oh, he knew it instantly.
