"So I look in your direction But you pay me no attention, do you?."
The hum of the air condition rang through the bullpen as Spencer studied you from his desk. With your hand in your hair, absentmindedly reading files with your body slumped forward, you looked unbelievably and unmistakably tired.
It was another late night doing paperwork from last week's case, and nearly everyone was running on caffeine and pure luck. Spencer had finished his work an hour, thirty four minutes, and eight seconds ago but he still found himself glued to his chair and taking on JJ’s leftover work. All so he could silently watch over you from his desk.
He didn't quite understand his fascination with you. It was almost embarrassing how he hung onto your every word you said, willing to do any and everything you wanted him to. But it was more embarrassing that you never paid him that same attention. Well, that wasn't completely true when he first met you, but as the months went on he could feel your attention from him drifting.
When you first started at the BAU last year you were shy and timid, but Spencer noticed the small chuckles that escaped from your lips at his complex jokes and how your eyes watched him as he spewed some random fact that the rest of the team groaned at. You used to hang onto every word he said, asking him follow up questions with your pupils dilated.
It was natural how you gravitated towards him. He was the only one on the team remotely close to your age, and like you, he was a bonafide genius. But you always wanted to know more and he always wanted to tell you more. It was innocent and pure, the way he thought about you, until you started to pull away.
Spencer knew the chemical reaction that occurs in the brain when someone who used to give you attention pulls away. It creates a pattern similar to drug addiction, something he was all too familiar with, and it had started to get all too familiar for him to know how to properly deal with it. It had reached the point where he was counting each glance you gave him, the small way the corners of your mouth quirked up when you spoke to him, and even to the point where he was keeping track of how many words you uttered to him daily.
He tracked it too. Your conversations with him had been on a steep decline since February, and now in late May he found himself wondering what he had done wrong. He had known the path he was leading himself down was one he shouldn't continue, but he couldn't care. His brain was operating for him, and he was succumbing to his worst fears.
His brain made any attempts to rationalize your behavior, none of which calmed his anxiety. Maybe he was too clingy, always opting to sit next to you on the jet, or partner up with you in the field. Maybe he had said the wrong thing, something that made you immediately sick of him. Maybe you started seeing someone. The last one bothered Spencer the most, but he couldn't understand why.
Spencer did everything he could to convince himself he didn't have a crush on you. As juvenile as it sounds was as juvenile as he felt every time his cheeks tinged pink when you spoke to him. He tried to convince himself that he didn't actually ‘like’ you, he just was preoccupied with you. It was your behavior that triggered his attachment style, it wasn't that he liked you.
And as much as he wanted it to be true, he knew it wasn't. He was infatuated the moment he met you. Spencer knew he could never forget anything, but he knew for sure he would never forget your face. He traced in his mind over and over again, the way your whole face lit up when you ate something sugary, how your eyes blinked up at him when you spoke, and how you would drag your teeth in between your lips whenever you were focused. He'd find himself finding any excuse to be close to you.
Spencer had once made a vow to himself that he would never pretend to be stupid. Not for anyone, and especially not for a girl. Which is why he almost physically smacked himself when he pretended to not have read a book by Jane Austen just so he could have something to talk to you about. He had read her entire collection when he was eight, yet he still found himself agreeing to read it and tell you how he liked it. He never forgot a word of the book “Emma,” but he still found himself rereading it for you. That was how much power you had over him. A power you seemed to be unaware of.
6 months ago - November
“So, did you read it?” you questioned, arm pressing into the hardword of his desk, eyes wide and waiting. He didn't notice you at first, which was a first for him, making him jump as he turned to face you.
“I did,” he answered, lips in a tight smile as he set his pen down, “I still have no idea why everyone seems to love Mr. Knightley. He strikes me as being a bully. I liked Frank Churchill far more.”
“Please,” you scoff rolling your eyes, “Churchill, seriously? All he had were his good looks. He was a total ass!” Your use of ‘ass’ earned a genuine smile from Spencer, whos eyes lit up as he spoke.
“He wasn’t the most sincere,” he starts, shaking his head, “but he still had a far better personality than Knightley. I’d sooner date Frank Churchill over Mr Knightley. At least Frank had a sense of humor.”
“That's true, I guess,” you agreed looking down at his pristine desk. All he had on it were closed case files and a framed photograph of him and the team on it. You weren't in it but you studied it quickly, noticing how Spencer stared a brunette in the picture. Whoever it was, he was looking at her like she held the world in her hands. You would be lying if you said it didn't sting. As if he could sense you deflate he sat up straighter, following your vision to the picture on his desk.
“We have to take a new one-” he rushed out quickly, causing your eyes to snap back to him, “You know, one with you… in it,” He pursed his lips nodding as he spoke again, almost as if he couldn’t stop himself, “You know cause now you're part of the team and this picture is old anyways. From when I first started here and as you can tell, I look completely different and it's time I updated it.”
“Who’s she?” you asked, finger pointing directly to Elle’s face. As you spoke you watched for any clues that would give you insight on how he felt about her.
“Oh, Elle,” the way he said it made him sound defeated, like he forgot that she was in the picture, even though you knew that wasn't the case, “she used to work here, but, uh, she left.”
“You guys were close?” you questioned him, eyebrows raised as you watched him glance over at the picture before leaning back in his chair and putting all his focus on you.
“Yeah,” he sighed, “we were, but…” his voice trailed off, as looked down at his feet, “we're not in contact anymore. She hasn't really spoken to any of us since she left,”
“Oh,” you sighed out. You wanted to be upset that it was obvious he was enamored with her, but you just felt bad. The way his whole demeanor changed as he spoke made you feel more upset than anything, “I’m sorry,”
“It’s okay,” his eyes darted back up to you as his tight-lipped smile reappeared. He glanced back at his desk, before turning his body away from you, “I, uh, have some work I should get back to, though,”
“Yeah,” you smiled, standing up straight as you prepared yourself to turn around. You wanted to say something, anything, but you didn't. You just turned around and went back to your desk, something stinging brewing in your chest.
Present Day
Spencer thought back to that day, wondering if his change in disposition is what made you change. It rang through his head as he tapped his foot, eyes trained on you. He was lost in thought when your eyes snapped up towards him, making him flinch. You offered him a small smile but it hadn't reached your eyes before looking back down at your work.
The interaction made him decide that it was time to go home. That him sitting and staring was doing nothing for him or you. Standing up, he slung his messenger bag across his body, goodbyes prepared on the tip of his tongue. As he was about to speak Hotch exited his office, eyes meeting sympathetically with Spencer’s as he entered the bullpen.
“We have a case,” Hotch announced, “I need everyone in the conference room in ten.”
As the team flooded into the conference room, Spencer hung back, watching as you collected your things and trailed behind the rest of the team with a stack of files in your arms.
“Need help with th-” Spencer began, arms outstretched towards you.
“No,” you replied abruptly, “I’m fine.”
It came out colder than you would have liked, causing Spencer to shiver, purse his lips and head into the conference room with his head hung low.
“Our first victim was 35-year-old Leonardo Ruiz,” Garcia started, remote in hand clicking to display the picture of the mutilated man with his hands bound by rope and publicly displayed hanging from trees. Almost instinctively you flinch. You know it's the job but it never gets easy seeing the images. The man's face was distorted, slashed repeatedly with a knife until he became unrecognizable.
“He was reported missing after failing to report to his shift,” another click of the camera to show the abandoned patrol car, with the door open, it was obvious there had been a struggle, “His patrol car was found 2 miles from where his body was found in Arlington, where there appeared to be a struggle. Ruiz was missing for approximately two days before his body was discovered.”
“There was no dash cam footage from the patrol car?” Rossi asks from his chair, leaning forward as Garcia clicks the remote again.
“Exactly what I thought, but here's the creepy bit: There is no sign of another person on the dashcam footage. He doesn't even mention seeing another person, you can't hear the struggle, in fact there is no audio on the footage at all. Because three days before Ruiz went missing, his dashcam footage lost all audio. He reported it to the department and they were going to look into it but they were unable to fix it before Ruiz was taken,” Garcia answers, sending a chill down your spine.
“So this was premeditated,” you speak up, causing everyone to look at you, including Spencer. You were still finding your footing in the group, trying to be useful to the group without saying the wrong thing, “The unsub is patient, willingly waiting for a perfect moment to strike. Could be revenge,”
“You're on the right track, pumpkin,” Garcia starts clicking another picture onto the screen, “That leads us to our next victim, Detective Luther Hodges from a different precinct was abducted from his home, reported missing for two days before he was found in the same way as our last victim in a public park,” Garcia herself winces as she looks at the pictures of the body strung up to a children's playground, “However this time our unsub left a witness, Hodge’s seven year old daughter, Lucy,”
“If he left her as a witness, it could mean that he used her as a way to get him to leave willingly,” Spencer started, eyes squinting as he viewed the screen, “or he’s simply… devolving,”
“You’re absolutely right, boy genius,” Garcia starts, clicking the remote again to reveal a final body, causing the group to gasp. On the screen was Federal Agent Angela Barnett in the same position as the others. “One of our own, Angela Barnett was taken from a grocery store she frequented, and only kept one day before she was found in this state.”
“He’s devolving and rapidly,” Hotch says, closing his file and standing up, “Garcia contact MPD and let them know we're coming,” he commands, causing Garcia to nod a quick “yes, sir,” before rushing out the office, “I want to be out of here in ten,” he instructs the group, resulting in nods as everyone stands and begins collecting their things.
“Hey,” Spencer calls from beside you gently, his voice close to being a whisper, “do you want to ride with me? I just got this new audiobook on the evolving traditions of the Amish and Mennonites on the East Coast,” he offers you a small smile that you can't help but mirror.
“Oh, uh,” you look down, you know you’ve been pulling away but you can't help it, “Yeah, that sounds… interesting,”
Spencer can't help the grin that spreads across his face as he nods gently, cheeks tinged pink as he picks up his bag from the floor, “Great, I’ll see you then.”
The car ride was awkward to say the least, Spencer glancing over at you every five seconds as you started out the window, watching the passing trees. You drowned out the audiobook, too focused on wanting the car ride to be over that you didn't notice when Spencer had cut it off.
“Is everything okay?” He spoke up, fingers tapping at the steering wheel as he kept his vision focused on the road.
“Yeah,” you sat up, looking over at him and scratching the back of your neck, “I’m fine,”
“Are you sure?” he asked again, “You’ve just been… different with me. If I did anything, I’m sor-”
“You didn't do anything,” you cut him off, “I didn't realize I had been acting different,” you lied quickly, earning a scoff from him, “What?”
“The amount of conversations we have daily has been on the decline since February, decreasing by 4 percent daily in the last two weeks,” Spencer let slip casually, his own tone colder than intended, “Hard thing to not realize, especially for someone like you,”
“Someone like me?” You questioned, arms crossing defensively across your chest.
“Someone smart,” Spencer looked over at you, “And I’m not stupid either, by the way. I would appreciate it if you just told me you didn't want to be friends outside of work instead of avoiding me like I’m the plague.”
You were silent for a beat, looking down at your hands, fingers intertwined with each other. You never understood why you got this way, why romantic feelings caused you to turn in on yourself. All you wanted to do was run, jump out of the car, scream, so you did the next best thing, “I’d prefer if we kept our relationship strictly professional,” your voice came out quieter than you would have liked.
Spencer felt his stomach drop as his breath caught in his throat. He ignored the stinging in his eyes as he cleared his throat, swallowing harshly before replying, “Okay.”
The rest of the ride was uneventful, Spencer turned back on the audiobook and you allowed the blood to rush to your ears, drowning out the rest of the noise. The night was much busier than anticipated, all law enforcement officers on edge with the rise of a serial killer that put targets on their back.
You spent a majority of the case avoiding Spencer, opting to partner with Derek on interviewing witnesses while JJ and Spencer built a geographical profile. When it was time to deliver the profile, you stayed back, only offering minimal input.
Then, you found him: Jacob Raines. Jacob Raines had been a former police officer who was let go due to his use of excessive force and brutality. His rage and anger in turn got geared towards law enforcement, blaming them for his pitfalls.
Garcia found an abandoned warehouse registered in his name in the outskirts of the city, where he was most likely keeping his victims before murdering him. The team dispatched to the warehouse, with you, Spencer and Morgan, entering first.
You wouldn't have entered without backup if it wasn't for the sounds of screams coming from inside, and Spencer rushing in first. As if on instinct you followed after him, gun raised as you cleared behind him towards the screams. In the middle of the warehouse was a police officer still in uniform, tied to a chair with a tear stained face. She was crying as she plead for Spencer to untie her. As he worked to undo the knots you heard footsteps, causing you and Spencer to stand up abruptly. In front of Spencer was a 6 foot man, weapon raised and aimed right at him with his finger on the trigger. Based on the profile, you knew he would shoot and you knew he wouldn't think twice. He planned this, he knew the BAU would come for him and he wanted to take out as many people as he could.
As if on instinct you pushed Spencer out of the way, a bullet aimed for his kelvar vest had made impact with your shoulder, piercing through it as you hit the cold concrete. Spencer was stunned but got up in enough time to take three shots at the unsub who had his weapon aimed and ready to shoot again. The unsub fell with a loud thud, but Spencer turned back to lean down next to your body that was growing increasingly colder. A puddle of blood had began to form underneath you and while it was clear it didn't hit any major organs, you were still bleeding out rapidly.
Through the ringing in your ears you could here Spencer’s pained and rush voice signal over the radio, “Officer down, need medical, gunshot wound to the shoulder.”
His voice and hands were shaking as he applied pressure to the wound with his palm, as he urged you, “keep your eyes open,” he pleaded with you, “just stay awake until they get here,” he begged. But you were so tired, and your eyes were getting heavier, so you let them close.
And everything went black.

AITA for not informing my pet's previous owner that he died?
I adopted a gecko off of Kijiji around a year ago. She had a different name when I adopted her but I ended up renaming her Fingergun when I adopted her. It was clear that her original owner cared about her quite a lot and after talking to her, I realized she was only rehoming because she was moving into university and couldn't bring Fingergun with her.
After I picked Fingergun up, her owner messaged asking how she was settling in and I sent her some pictures and said she was doing well with some specifics on her behaviour. Over the next week, her owner messaged every day or two for updates. I was happy to provide them, especially since it was obvious that Fingergun was very loved and cared for. I rescue and rehabilite reptiles fairly frequently (Not as an official rescue, just over Kijiji or Facebook Marketplace, sometimes partnering with official rescues) so it's rare for me to see somebody in as good condition as Fingergun. It's important to note that I got Fingergun for myself, not as a rescue/rehab case (Which I usually rehome or pass on to some rescues I partner with when I can).
Over the next few months the requests for updates kept coming but less and less frequently until around three months ago before Fingergun died, when they stopped completely. I expected that her owner had moved on and I didn't want to send unsolicited updates in case I jeopardized the healing process or annoyed her or something.
Well, around three months ago I had a house fire due to entirely unpreventable causes. I wasn't home and was honestly devastated when I found out. I lost Fingergun and one of my cats (I was at the vet with two new rescues and had just dropped the other cat at the groomers when it happened).
Although I only had her for a year, I really loved Fingergun. I handled her every day and we were working on some minimal training.
The whole issue here came up only recently, about a week ago.
Because there hadn't been any more messages from Fingergun's original owner, I decided not to tell her what had happened. I didn't see any reason to upset her out of the blue, especially when I know it was mid-exams for her uni and I hadn't heard from her in months. I honestly thought the update requests had stopped until she messaged a week ago, asking how Fingergun was doing.
I was honest and told her what had happened. I also sent her a couple pictures of Fingergun from the day before. She was silent for a day or so before she responded and essentially asked why I kept it from her/didn't tell her sooner and insinuating that the fire didn't happen/I made it up to cover something up.
I haven't responded yet since I'm still busy dealing with the insurance and stuff from the fire and I'm honestly at a bit of a loss here. I'm not good with people, there's a reason I refer my critters, but am I the asshole here? Should I have told her when it happened or even just lied and told her everything was fine when she asked?

Arthur Morgan's Depression
(Warning: Spoilers for RDR2 and mental health issues)
Arthur Morgan is depressed. Yes, I know the writers haven't exactly come out and said that he is depressed, but it does not take a genius to see that Arthur Morgan is a man who deals with many demons and monsters. Arthur Morgan has some sort of functional depression, and it is shown in many ways. In many missions, he seems downtrodden and sad, but he goes along with it anyway because what else can you do? He talks about himself in such a degrading manner in the mirror, and not just in a way that we all do sometimes, but in a way that invokes actual hatred of himself.
He thinks he's ugly when he's a conventionally attractive man. He thinks he's dumb when he's very witty and smart. He gets knocked down for his intelligence a lot by both Dutch and Hosea (we, as a fandom, need to stop pretending that Hosea is perfect because he really isn't). I know that dudes generally joke like that a lot, but those two aren't his “friends”; they are quite literally his father figures. It's different. His journal is filled with self-doubt, pain, and a general apathetic outlook on life.
But as I was playing “A Quiet Time,” one interaction between Lenny and Arthur stood out to me.
“Why ain't you never married?”
“'Cause no one will have me.”
In the context of this mission, I think this was written as an “oh damn” kinda joke, something out of left field to make the player laugh. But after thinking about it more, I realized something.
If you guys follow my posts, then you probably know that I love to interpret things from a sociocultural perspective—so let's do that.
Now, this is an obvious reference to Mary and how she rejected him in the end for Barry Linton to keep her family satisfied. It might also allude to Eliza or other female love interests that Arthur might've had at some point.
But it may also be a nod to the culture of 19th century America and what it entailed for men.
Arthur isn't married at 36 years old. Men were expected to be married generally by their twenties. He has no children or legacy—the only one he did have died years ago. He doesn't have property or a home—he's always on the move with the gang (given how defensive he got with that woman he picks up to go to Lagras, it's probably a point of insecurity). He has no respectable profession—he should've had an honest career by now.
He hopes that Dutch will get his shit together and have them put their outlaw ways behind them, but Dutch literally cannot, and Arthur is the one feeling the burn for it. He has missed so many milestones that he “should've” reached by this point, yet he is still doing the same thing he was doing since he was a young teen.
He can't bring himself to leave Dutch either, as he feels like he has a debt to pay to the man (“I gotta try! I owe him that, at least.”) that can never be paid.
And that has to fucking hurt. You already hate yourself on the outside by thinking you're hideous. You hate yourself on the inside because you think you're dumb. You feel unaccomplished, like a damn loser. And on top of all of that? You can't bring yourself to let go of all the factors that make you feel that way because “they're family” and “they need you.”
You're trapped, and everything feels awful. I'd be depressed too.
It might also be another reason why Arthur is jealous and angry at John. He has a wife, he has a child, he doesn't feel particularly obligated to the gang (hence leaving for a year), he has a chance to do better, and he just doesn't care. He's reached so many milestones that Arthur misses not because he wants them, but out of pure luck, and I'm sure Arthur feels bitter about it.
It's just sad, man.

Tumblr media
TW: profanity, p in v, unprotected sex, AFAB reader, she/her pronouns, soft sex, bonding, praise, name calling, dom! reader, sub bill
Request by @kieraisupset: you should definitely make a fluff and smut about na’vi Bill and avatar fem reader, like reader is Jake, Bill is neytiri, then it’s like practically based off the plot of the movie yk, it’d be so cute! like movie one, then movie two if you have enough energy or want to do that
Rating: explicit content ahead, under 15 dni
Word Count: 1.6k
Summary: After months of learning the Na'vi language, befriending the people, and learning their ways, there was only one thing left to do
Tumblr media
You had spent months on end learning about the Na'vi, and you were becoming less and less close with the human species because of it. But to be completely honest, you didn't care. There was a special Na'vi, bill.
He was ever so sweet, and immediately took a liking to you when he had saved you from the animal that attempted to attack you on your first day in the forest. He showed you everything about their home, and taught you equally as much. How to hunt, how to get food, how to make a bond with a mountain banshee, which was very difficult and you couldn't have done it without him.
You had spent every single day together since he saved you, and you had grown immensely close with him. How could you not? He was very cute and always was down to help you any way he could, even if it was a little minor issue.
You had heard about this thing the Na'vi called, Tsaheylu. It meant that two people who loved each other greatly wanted to bond, they had to do so before eywa. You were head over heels for bill, but you weren't sure he reciprocated those feelings. You had only known each other for three months, and it was a very serious thing to do.
Those who did it were bonded for life, and it was to be taken with utmost seriousness. You knew you wanted to bond with bill, he had shown you great kindness and empathy. His brother, however, disapproved of you. Na'vi were supposed to only bond with their kind, and you were a human.
His brother hadn't liked you since day one, he just didn't want you to hurt bill. He cared for him very much, and he knew what humans were capable of. He had seen it, the forests burned, the trees pulled from their roots because the humans wanted more room, more space, like they didn't have enough already, and he hated your kind for that.
You had tried convincing his brother that you weren't like that, you had pure intentions, but he didn't listen, and honestly? You didn't care anymore. You loved bill, and you wanted to have that bond with him, the one that lasted for a lifetime. You sat in a tree, pondering and staring straight into the distance, thinking about what you were going to do, until a familiar blue face joined you.
"hi!" he spoke cheerfully, sitting next to you on the branch and giving you a small hug from the side. "hey bill" you said somberly, and he immediately knew something was wrong. "what's up?" He turned to face you, his ears perked up in curiousness. You took a deep breath, preparing for what you were going to propose. "what would you think of us bonding?" You asked, hoping a positive answer would come from bill.
"Really?" His eyes widened with excitement. "Yes!" he beamed, and hugged you, his lanky arms wrapping around your waist as he pecked you on the cheek sweetly. You wrapped an arm around him, and pulled him closer to you, his head leaning on your shoulder. "we should go at dark, so no one suspects anything" bill nodded along, agreeing with your plan.
"i'm glad you said yes. I was really worried" you laughed, stroking bill's hair softly. He purred, murmuring cute noises. You both sat on the tree for a little while longer, bill falling asleep on your side. You picked him up gently, holding him tight as you scaled down the tree. You brought him back to his home, his head on your shoulder still. His arms were wrapped around your neck as he snored quietly. You laid him down, making sure he wouldn't wake up.
His brother stared you down as you laid near bill, your hammock right next to his since bill insisted on it. He kept his eyes on you until he fell asleep, trying to see if you were going to hurt bill, but you didn't. When night fell, you still weren't asleep. You knew if you closed your eyes you would return to your human body and you didn't want that. You poked bill gently, and he woke up, his eyes adjusting to the scenery. He realized it was night, which meant it was time.
"You ready?" you whispered to bill, being careful not to disturb the rest of his family. Bill nodded and you started the trek to the spirit tree, wandering through the forest, your hands bound together. You reached the tree, the colors shining. It was beautiful, how could your species want to get rid of such a thing, especially when it was so precious to the Na'vi?
You laid down near a tree, bill next to you. "do you know what to do?" he asked. You had passed the rite of passage and had been accepted as an adult by the clan, but you still needed some help. You nodded, and bill began to explain. He pulled his braid around, small, pink tendrils peeking out of the black strands. "We need to connect these, and then we'll be bonded. They are located at the end of your braid" Bill instructed, gently grabbing your braid. The little pink things showed, and bill connected them all while being careful.
You breathed in, the bond beginning to set in. Bill spoke softly, explaining what now would happen. "Our memories and emotions are being shared so we can have a deeper understanding of each other, more than we already have" his eyes were shut as he said this calmly. "okay" you nodded slowly, being careful not to break the bond.
Once the tendrils were separated, you both put your braids behind your backs again, and bill smiled at you, lying back down. "what do we now?" you asked, your hand beginning to caress bill's lower abdomen softly. "from what I know, we just lie here" bill shrugged. Your face dropped. "that's it? No sex?" you were confused now, wasn't a bond like a wedding night, like consummating the marriage and such?
"Not that I know of" bill responded. You huffed, surely there was more to bonding than this. "well, would you like to add that to the bond?" You smirked. Bill's breathing hitched, should he? Would that be going against the usual events of the bond? You rubbed his hip softly, and got on top of him, your legs straddling his lap. "wh-what are you doing?" he was surprised at the sudden action. "have you ever had sex?" you asked, scratching behind his ear. "n-no" he resisted the urge to let out a mewl.
"well then, I get to be the first to teach you" You became excited at this, and lifted down his minimal clothing. His breathing hitched, his eyes closing as you slid it off of him, your clothing joining it soon after. You held his cock softly, guiding it into you. Your walls gripped him tightly, a low moan coming from him.
"t-that feels good" he whimpered. "that's not even the best part" you smirked, and began to bounce up and down his cock. Your hands placed themselves on his chest, grinding down on him slowly. Mewls spilled out of his mouth, and you leaned forward, kissing him softly. "fuck" you moaned breathlessly, his cock hitting your g-spot unintentionally.
He didn't know what the word meant, Na'vi rarely ever cursed, but he didn't stop to ask. His cock was so thick, so nice and thick, you just wanted to fuck yourself on it all day long. Your ass slapped up and down, creating a soft pace as he writhed beneath you. You held onto his waist, wet noises filling the silence. "f-fuck" bill whined. He wanted to use the word, he just felt so good, and it just slipped out.
"that's my boy" you smirked, leaning over him, your boobs dangling right in front of his face. He flicked his tongue on one, making you moan. He licked the bud, your pace faltering momentarily as he pleasured you in his own way. His tip hit your cervix, a painful yet pleasureful action that made you groan.
You were close to bliss, your legs beginning to shake and your walls beginning to clench around bill. "mm fuck!" you whimpered, your hands grasping onto bill's hair, tugging on his scalp. He was still licking at your boob, but he gasped and his mouth was pulled away when you tugged at his hair. You came on bill's cock with a loud moan, your legs shaking violently.
Cum trickled onto bill's lower abdomen as you rode out your high, your hips grinding down onto bill's pelvis. He felt a warm sensation run through him, one that he had never felt before, but it felt oddly good, and he leaned into it, his dick beginning to twitch inside of you. You knew what this meant, he was close to an orgasm, and you went faster, trying to get him to reach the peak of bliss.
He whimpered, his head falling backwards as he shot his hot cum into you. He let out small breathy pants, trying to regain his breath. You pulled off of him, your combined cum falling out of you. "y-you have something coming out of you" he pointed at your pussy, and you laughed. "billy, that's cum. do you know what that is?" he shook his head. "that happens when someone feels really, really good during sex" you told him. "ohh, so that's what that feeling I felt was?" He asked. "mhm, it's natural, don't worry" you smiled, lying down next to him once more.
You gathered your clothes, putting them back on. You handed bill his clothes, and he slipped it back on. You lifted it up just a little and wiped the cum off, being gentle with him. "t-thank you" he mumbled, burying his head into your chest. You giggled, and kissed his forehead. "you're welcome billy" you smiled, and you fell asleep together, now bonded for the rest of your lives.

The Nights (Drabble)

Hook Tag list: @wickedval ________ Another night, another cloud of smoke encircled his head as he sat on his fire escape watching the city buzzing by. His phone lit up illuminating his face as he read it hoping but knowing it wouldn’t be a text from you.
‘We’re really worried about you man nobody’s heard from you in a week least let someone know you’re okay.’ Setting the phone back on his lap Tyler took another inhale of the joint holding the smoke until his lungs burned then blew it into the dark night sky. Of course, he was okay well at least physically he was but emotionally he probably wouldn’t be the same ever again. Not after losing the most important person in his world.. “This is going to be amazing mamas I can’t wait for you to come back to New York I have so much for us planned.”
Tyler smiled as he put away the last of the laundry making sure his apartment was clean and suitable enough for you. The line remained quiet with the only sound being the tires on the road before you let a breath out. “Actually, I’ve um changed my mind.” He didn’t know this but at the time you spoke these words you passed his exit and continued driving. “I’m sorry what?” “I know it’s a shitty thing to do on the phone but I’m going up to Canada to visit a friend for a few weeks. I didn’t know how to tell you and honestly wasn’t sure how I was going to.” “Why didn’t you just say anything?’ “Because breaking up over the phone isn’t something I planned to do but I think it’s for the best. We’ve been growing apart with your traveling and my work schedule. I’m tired of not seeing you and of not having a boyfriend close by. I’m sorry this is the last thing I wanted to have happen, but I think it’s for the best.”
Thinking back over that night all these weeks later and if he was honest with himself, he knew something wasn’t right. You had been acting weird ever since the two of you started making plans for a visit, you’d trail off or switch the subject to something else.
He was still dealing with all the feelings that came from having a relationship suddenly end, he felt pain that he never experienced before not even in ring. His chest was heavy and often felt tight, he was angry that you wouldn’t even give him a chance to try and make things better or reassure you it would work out.
But he knew it wasn’t just all on you, he’d been a bit too busy with work and didn’t call you as often as he should have. He never imagined he would be at this end, sure other relationships failed but he always had faith that yours would last. And now just like that you were gone, you who was supposed to be Tyler’s future. The love of his life the person he hoped to marry someday not that he ever got the chance to ask you.
Despite the breakup being over two months ago he still felt like he did the night it happened; felt like a whole opened in his chest. It got worse because he saw your mother recently. She stopped by to pick up some of your things and told him that you were taking it hard despite everything she knew that you loved him. It helped a little but not enough to make him want to rejoin society.
He'd called a couple of times and even sent a few texts to try and see if he could change your mind but you never returned them. Tyler knew it was only a matter of time before he would have to get back to real life. Tony was trying to be understanding and give him time, they wrote him off with an injury, but he knew he needed to get back. Most days he spent smoking trying to numb the longing and loneliness he felt for you, but no matter how much he smoked he still thought about you. At night was the worst when the rest of the world was silent his mind and dreams were plagued with different versions of you. No matter what he tried he just couldn’t escape it all. Tyler knew in time he would get over you, knew that one day in the future you’ll be nothing more than just a thought in his mind. As for now? He would just have to take it a day at a time trying to get over loving you.

Something something of COURSE in the end it's Stolas who has the power to end the conversation and whisk Blitz away rather then keeping at it when things get rough, off script, complicated, and honest. (Stolas decided to start the convo, and when to end it.)
Stolas want's a storybook romance. He's had it fermenting and stagnating in his head since he was a kid.
Stolas grew up in an environment of putting on airs and pretending to be perfect.
Stolas also has no reference point for FIGHTING in a relationship except for an arranged marriage that they both openly did not want to be in, with zero real emotional stakes re: their bond with each other. The primary stakes were playing bare minimum nice for the kid. (Which they still failed at, but that's another topic.)
Of COURSE he doesn't understand that love and resentment at past wrongs (that can be exhumed and dealt with) can exist simultaneously.
How could he? He's never had an emotional investment with an equal, a peer, at all.
Blitz is intensely fucked up. They're BOTH fucked up, obviously. But this one? I kind of put on Stolas? If they'd just continued the conversation instead of Stolas' actively ending it and teleporting Blitz away, they might have GOT somewhere.

i'm so infuriated
I'm not Jewish and I'm so infuriated at the world.
I can't imagine how it must feel to be Jewish. Especially as this entire ordeal has made me dive more into educating myself about Jewish history and how the world truly has always blamed everything on the Jews.
How is everything their fault?
Even the crucifixion of Christ has been blamed on the Jews when it was a Roman tradition?
Martin Luther who is known as one of the original reformers in Christianity's history wrote a book called "On the Jews and Their Lies". In which he advocated for burning down synagogues, Jewish homes and if that didn't work, Jewish people!
Apparently, somehow, Jews caused the Black Death despite the fact that the most predominant modern theory is that due to climate change in Asia, rodents began to flee the dried out grasslands to more populated areas which ended up spreading the infected fleas they carried, thus spreading the disease. The fleas infected not just rats but ground rodents in general, so once the rats migrated the fleas could jump to any ground rodent and the infection spread.
Some of the craziest modern stuff though has come mostly from the Middle East (i wonder why)...
Apparently, Israel has remote control sharks that can attack Egyptian civilians and tourists, at least that's what a Governor of Egypt things. source
According to a fundamentalist group of Muslims called the Wahhabis, the Jews have a secret ally they've been conspiring with... the Gharqad tree. A tree, they call it the Jew tree. source Which is identified as either nitre bushes or Lycium which is part of the nightshade family, it's such a thing that the TREE WIKI PAGE TALKS MORE ABOUT THAT THAN THE TREE ITSELF source
Palestine once said that Israel was breeding super rats that could grow twice the size of a normal rat - just to chase Arabs out of Jerusalem, note this was in like 2008, where are these super rats NOW? source
The Nation of Islam (an organization) accused Jews of tricking people into thinking slavery exists??????? Sorry, "still" exists. This was originally in 1996, the gall this motherfucker had in 1996 to say "Where is the proof?" - oh, his name is Louis Farrakhan btw and there is an entire section dedicated to him on the anti-slavery website iabolish.org - his page
Also, Pokémon is a Zionist conspiracy plot to overthrow Saddam Hussein, at least, in 2001 that was what some Iraqi security personal reported. source
listen... I won't lie. I love a good conspiracy theory because to be honest, the amount I trust my government or anyone in authority is so small that just about anything could come out as true and I'd be so un-phased.
but blaming the Jews for everything when they make up an estimated 0.2% of the population versus say the 23% that is Muslim? Which there are approximately 50 Muslim-Majority countries in the world, though depending on sources the exact number differs.
If anything Christianity (32%) and the unaffiliated (16.3%) should be eyed at. Also, how come no one ever gives the folk religion people a hard time? Not that anyone deserves to be given a hard time as long as they aren't hurting anyone, it just boggles my mind to be honest.
sources for numbers cited came from this website: https://worldpopulationreview.com/
anyway, woke up this morning and just wanted to say this cause I'm mad and I want to show my support but also call out stupid people. I'm here to fight for Israel and the Jews, fuck off pro-palestine simps.

Interview Archive 2, 5.1994 - Ongaku to Hito Special Edition
This interview is on pages 62-67 of the magazine. Footnotes can be found at the bottom of the text.
ISSAY – the aesthetic man who “continues to spin round and round in a dead end with nothing to do”, from DER ZIBET, who debuted in ‘85 as “the founders of Japan’s aesthetic-style rock revival”. Sakurai Atsushi – the aesthetic man of “complete self-deprecation, going mad in any case”, from BUCK-TICK, who debuted in ‘87 as “the first aesthetic-style rock band dominating Japan nationwide”. This will be the first interview between these two. Whether you call it visual kei, makeup kei, aesthetic kei, or Japanese-style decadence kei, this movement became dominant in Japan’s current rock scene before we knew it. Although it’s been analyzed from various perspectives, in a nutshell, I wonder if at the center of this movement is “an exceptionally large desire to escape a difficult reality”. Not liking to look at reality, they seek out a place of repose that’s “somewhere that isn’t here”, and they hide thoroughly within themselves. And while Japan is a peaceful country and they were born during this moratorium [on violence], they are “hippies”. Those who have become the beacons of this are, without a doubt, Der Zibet and BUCK-TICK. With that, a meeting of two giants who rely on each other – but it really suits these two.
Ichikawa: I’ve had pending questions for when this interview happened for a long time, since I was working at a certain other music magazine, but now that we can finally do it, somehow I’m still feeling shy.
ISSAY: Hahahahaha.
Ichikawa: First, I’ll start with the perfunctory questions.
ISSAY: The story of BUCK-TICK and DER ZIBET’s formation?
Sakurai: Hahahahaha.
Ichikawa: Hahahaha. I’m tired of hearing that sort of talk already.
ISSAY: Alright then, how we first found music? (laughs)
Ichikawa: (Ignoring him1) Sakurai, around what point did you learn of DER ZIBET?
Sakurai: Around when I was 19 or 20, wasn’t it? I’d come to Tokyo from Gunma, and during the time I was living together with a friend, I borrowed a tape from someone and listened to it.
Ichikawa: Was your first “Violetter Ball (Murasaki no Butoukai)”?
Sakurai: Yeah. I thought it seemed good and listened to it. And then, by chance, I was passing by Eggman in Shibuya...and it was written there, “DER ZIBET LIVE!”. I thought, “I wonder what sort of feel it’ll have, this is my chance” and bought my ticket for that day. That was the first place I watched them…
Ichikawa: Der Zibet are decadence at its finest, aren’t they.
ISSAY: Yeah. We’ve been told by those around us to tone it down. (laughs)
Sakurai: By the way, ISSAY-san, you were singing with a mask on.
ISSAY: Really? ...That’s not great! (laughs)
Ichikawa: (laughs) The first time you saw them it was that sort of live?
ISSAY: ...I think it wasn’t that sort of pantomime pantomiming, at the time at least.
Ichikawa: What hairstyle did he have?
Sakurai: The same as now, I think. Yeah, like that.
ISSAY: Was it black? I think maybe it was red. Red or green, one or the other.
Ichikawa: (laughs) This guy, he was giddy2, wasn’t he?
Sakurai: No...well, I thought he was cool…
ISSAY: I’m glad! (laughs)
Ichikawa: Hahaha. Did you listen to Der Zibet after that too?
Sakurai: I think after that was around the time when I had first started with BUCK-TICK, not yet as the vocalist, but as the drummer.
ISSAY: Oh?! Atsushi, you were the drummer at first?
Sakurai: Yeah.
ISSAY: I had no idea. (laughs)
Sakurai: After that, while we were touring around during our indies era, at Nagoya’s ELL, DER ZIBET’s video was playing. I thought again that they were cool. Then, when we came back from touring, among our few (laughs) fans, there was a kid who loved DER ZIBET, and they gave me that video. I watched it again and again in my room like I was devouring it.
ISSAY: You watched it again and again! (laughs)
Ichikawa: What parts of Der Zibet did you like? Don’t worry; just be honest.
Sakurai: Hmmm, well I’ve performed vocals as well, so that’s where my eyes go, don’t they. ISSAY-san was cool.
ISSAY: (laughs) See~?
Sakurai: It wasn’t just singing...the added value of his performance on the stage was really impressive.
ISSAY: We were trying various things at that time. Like where I’d sit on top of a stepladder and sing, or I’d have an enormous clock.
Ichikawa: Wahahaha. You’d go onto the stage holding candles.
ISSAY: Not candles! A lantern. All four of us wore black coats and appeared on stage holding lanterns.
Ichikawa: You did as much as you could underground, didn’t you.
ISSAY: When I think of it now, I wonder if was Japanese gothic. (laughs)
Sakurai: Hahahahaha.
Ichikawa: Is this guy embarrassed, I wonder?
ISSAY: No no. (laughs) Well, performing something itself isn’t really embarrassing. Just, when it’s said right to your face...that is embarrassing, a bit. (laughs) There’s a kind of embarrassment when someone says, “A long time ago, we all went to this picnic, right?” and they bring out a picture of you from your high school days, right? It’s embarrassing.
Ichikawa: So Sakurai, you felt there were some commonalities with Der Zibet, right?
Sakurai: …...Hmmm…...how can I say this – I felt like they were a young boy’s words. There’s a boy who has his own world and there is a girl who yearns for him in it, like that? Yeah, it may have a girlish perspective to it. Or it could be like a so-called father complex.
Ichikawa: Sakurai, you’ve had a complex about your lack of personal worldview as an artist, on that note.
Sakurai: Because I still can’t express myself in words, I haven’t gotten to that point yet. The person named ISSAY-san who has already achieved it is right before my eyes…
Ichikawa: Then, the heart of a young girl longs for him, and he also ends up a father figure – a person having difficulties, and you are too. (laughs)
Sakurai: (laughs) I envy him, that’s the kind of feeling I have.
Ichikawa: The first time ISSAY saw BUCK-TICK was in London in ‘88, wasn’t it. This was while Der Zibet was recording “GARDEN” and BUCK-TICK “TABOO” respectively, and you performed in a foreign country.
ISSAY: That was my first time seeing them live. However, the first time I met them was at the public TV recording of Meguro’s Rokumeikan.3
Ichikawa: That was the time that SION, Der Zibet and BUCK-TICK all were recording on the same day. When you went to the dressing room, they were there and you became acquainted?
Sakurai: (embarrassed laugh) Yes.
Ichikawa: Was that around the time BUCK-TICK debuted?
Sakurai: Yes, right around the time we debuted.
Ichikawa: When you went to the dressing room, there were these boys with their hair straight up.
ISSAY: That’s right. But they were such good kids. (laughs) Atsushi and Imai were adult-like, but the two on rhythm (Anii and Yuuta) really talked to me a lot. It was just a “We’re BUCK-TICK!”, “Oh, hello” sort of exchange, but. (laughs)
Ichikawa: Sakurai didn’t speak?
ISSAY: He said, “I’ve been to see one of your concerts once.”
Sakurai: (embarrassed laugh) Is that so?
Ichikawa: The Sakurai of that time was a guy that consistently didn’t talk. Right before their debut, when I was doing my first interview with BUCK-TICK, Sakurai and Hoshino, they were a fleet of silence, the two of them, you know? Despite their gaudy hair standing straight up. (laughs)
Sakurai: (laughs) Waah, we were useless guys.
Ichikawa: Well, you were eyewitness to BUCK-TICK’s live in London.
ISSAY: There was a message from Atsushi in my voicemail. “I heard you’re going to London to record around the same time as us, so if you can meet up, let’s meet”, something like that.
Ichikawa: Sakurai, what are you embarrassed about?
Sakurai: Nothing, nothing. (laughs)
Ichikawa: You’re blushing like a schoolgirl, you know. (laughs)
Sakurai: ……...(laughs)
ISSAY: Hahahahahahaha. So, I heard that BUCK-TICK was going to perform live there, so I went to watch them with the other members [of DZ].
Ichikawa: I think I can ask this now, but, performing live in London was tough, wasn’t it?
Sakurai: Yes, it was tough. But, well, it was just a rush of performing and coming back home. I didn’t think I could perform sober, so I don’t remember it, but. (laughs)
Ichikawa: Just drinking up like crazy before the show. (laughs)
Sakurai: Yeah.
Ichikawa: Sounds desperate. (laughs) Were Der Zibet your only Japanese audience members?
Sakurai: It looked like there were a number of exchange students as well.
Ichikawa: Wasn’t it embarrassing with Japanese people being there?
Sakurai: And they were in the front row. (laughs)
ISSAY: Right. I was thinking that they may have come all the way from Japan to see them. I thought, “Wow, BUCK-TICK is awesome.” (laughs)
Ichikawa: Bottom line, what were your impressions from the live?
ISSAY: I thought they were doing their best. (laughs) They had a lot of spirit. I think it was the ending, that was amazing. Like BOOM, BOOM.4 It was like, “ooh, they’re really doing it.” (laughs)
Sakurai: Hey, that’s something you’d say about a sports player. (laughs)
ISSAY: It felt like you guys were like, “Listen to this, you bastards!”
Sakurai: We might have seemed like nasty guys. (laughs)
ISSAY: No, not at all, there wasn’t a feeling of nastiness to it; you were greeting them with smiles and properly did the MC in English.
Ichikawa: MC!!!
ISSAY: In the middle, speaking English got troublesome so he ended up speaking Japanese, but. (laughs)
Ichikawa: Woooooow. (laughs) This guy who can’t even speak for the MC in Japan, there’s no way he could do it over there, right?
ISSAY: Hahahahahahaha.
Sakurai: Right. It was impossible.
Ichikawa: But this is a nostalgic story.
ISSAY: Yeah, nostalgic. But I remember stuff from that time.
Sakurai: Me too. And I was glad you came to our dressing room.
Ichikawa: Thinking about it, both BUCK-TICK and Der Zibet recorded internationally as a one-time thing.
ISSAY: For us, it’s because when we go there, we end up making dark stuff. Like, the dark and extremely heavy “GARDEN” that was so heavily criticized by the people invested in it, when we listened to it in London it seemed normal. You don’t think it’s dark at all.
Sakurai: That’s right. Ichikawa-san also completely disliked our “TABOO”, so. (laughs)
Ichikawa: Well, when you go to London, it suddenly ends up feeling quite frightening, doesn’t it? And artists need to have a strong sense of themselves.
ISSAY: I ended up having the constitution for it, undoubtedly. I had fun, being in London. Wasn’t that the case for you?
Sakurai: Certainly mentally speaking, it was very comfortable.
Ichikawa: But Sakurai, you’ve been on vacation to Hawaii before.5 (laughs)
Sakurai: That place is totally harder. (laughs) There’s this obsession of like, if you don’t go outside you’re missing out...(laughs)
ISSAY: Aah, I get that! (laughs) Well, did you end up going outside?
Sakurai: I did end up going out.
ISSAY: Did you swim in the ocean?
Sakurai: I did. (laughs)
ISSAY: Isn’t that nice~, that you swam in the ocean~? (laughs)
Sakurai: Hahahaha.
ISSAY: Let’s go next time, it’ll be fun. Let’s go, let’s go. (laughs) Last summer, for the first time in 15 years, I also went to the ocean, sooo (laughs)
Sakurai: What sort of fun? (laughs)
Ichikawa: Decadent people going for a swim in the ocean. (laughs)
ISSAY: After that, we’ve met in passing a number of times. Definitely, I think it was when we were coming back from touring in Nagoya or somewhere, but we were refueling our gas in the parking area off the highway and (laughs) these guys with long hair came in. I was thinking, “Huh? I’ve seen these guys before”, and there was the bassist. He went, “It’s BUCK-TICK!” (laughs) And from the back, making an extremely embarrassed looking face about it, came Atsushi. (laughs)
Ichikawa: Wahahahaha.
ISSAY: I was like, “Oh, it’s Atsushi!” (laughs) Besides that, we also met up in front of Nakano Sun Plaza when Peter Murphy had a concert there.
Sakurai: I remember that well.
Ichikawa: Because events like that are few and far between, right. You guys live withered lifestyles like retired old men. (laughs)
ISSAY: Definitely. (laughs) Events that move me are few and far between. But look, I was moved at first when I met up with Atsushi, I was like, “It’s Atsushi~!”
Sakurai: Hahahahahahahaha.
ISSAY: Atsushi, you’re a homebody too, right?
Sakurai: Going by car from a metropolitan area to a suburb is okay, but getting to the point of leaving my room is difficult.
Ichikawa: This guy would probably be happy if you came over to his room to hang out. (laughs) You would just be idling away the time, though.
Sakurai: Well, there are no enemies from the outside there. (laughs)
ISSAY: You get tired of it right, the stuff that comes with going out.
Sakurai: Yeah, it’s tiring. I wonder why that is.
ISSAY: Because people other than you are there. (laughs)
Ichikawa: Wahahahahahaha.
Sakurai: Hahahaha. 100%. (laughs)
ISSAY: Thank you very much.6 (laughs)
Sakurai: For me, even though I’m at this age, I still happen to get embarrassed and scared about it. I want to go to Toukyuu Hands7, but I can’t, things like that. (laughs)
ISSAY: I can’t go either, you know. (laughs)
Ichikawa: Sakurai, what do you want to go to Hands for?
Sakurai: My light bulbs burnt out, so to go buy more. Places like supermarkets don’t sell them, they’re a special kind. In the end, I had someone else buy them and bring them to me. (laughs)
ISSAY: Right? I do that too.
Ichikawa: That’s no good, you guys. (laughs)
ISSAY: For me, there was a time where I wanted a takoyaki set, so I sent the manager to buy it for me.
Sakurai: Ah, I bought that too. The one from Toukyuu Hands, right? (laughs)
ISSAY: Ah, really? Next time, let’s have a takoyaki party, just the two of us. (laughs)
Sakurai: We’ll do it, we’ll do it. (laughs)
ISSAY: A dark, decadent takoyaki party. (laughs)
Ichikawa: While listening to the Sisters of Mercy.
Sakurai: Hahahahahahaha.
Ichikawa: I’m coming too.
ISSAY: Please do. (laughs)
Ichikawa: So, in “Masquerade”, the song you costar on in Der Zibet’s “Shishunki II”, it became a “decadent duet between teacher and student”.
ISSAY: Weren’t you the one who planned that? (laughs) But, that really was extremely fun. (laughs) And the finished product is quite interesting.
Ichikawa: Like the way the qualities of your voices are so similar.
ISSAY: Right? (laughs) Like, there are many parts where you can’t tell if I’m singing or if Atsushi is singing, even for me.
Sakurai: That’s been said a lot.
ISSAY: I was surprised by that. So, if you listen to how Atsushi normally sings, it’s completely different from me, right? But, when we happen to be doing a part in the same artistic style...you know?
Ichikawa: By the way, ISSAY, what do you actually think about the music BUCK-TICK is performing?
ISSAY: I haven’t listened to all of it completely, so I don’t know for sure, but I think it’s interesting. It’s weird, isn’t it? There aren’t guys performing that kind of music on major labels, are there? So I’m really happy about that, and that it’s so well received. I think that’s a really good thing. From the time they came out, I’ve thought, “This went major. That’s great!” (laughs) Even though the things they perform are quite often actually grotesque.8
Ichikawa: I think the people at Victor who gave them the OK are great too. Here are these “amateurs” with incomprehensible lyrics who didn’t know the fundamentals of their instruments, so you get a lot of weird sounds. At an average record label, they would have ended up getting the boot.
ISSAY: Normally, most likely.
Sakurai: I think so too. (laughs)
Ichikawa: If I’m speaking frankly, and I’m still thinking this, but I can’t help wondering why they were sold on BUCK-TICK.
Sakurai: Fufufufu.
ISSAY: Me, I somehow understand. I suppose the melody was easy to follow and that had a lot to do with it. I don’t think it’s necessary at all to persist in that, but as an element of their work that’s easy to accept, I wonder if it wasn’t a big part of it. Although their lyrics seemed muddied, and although their hair was done like it was. I think their melodies were amazingly alive. I wonder if they really felt that.
Ichikawa: Well, if Der Zibet had also debuted four years or so later, maybe they would have sold big.
ISSAY: Hahahaha. I wonder. (laughs)
Ichikawa: But you know, on the point of how what we call aesthetic kei or visual kei’s “weird sounds” movement gained a following in Japan, I think BUCK-TICK’s contribution is huge. Especially when you think about how aesthetic kei is currently flourishing.
ISSAY: I think so. You’re great, Atsushi!
Sakurai: (laughs) Not at all, the me of today wouldn’t be here without ISSAY-san.
Ichikawa: You guys are so creepy. But lately, the number of lovable “aesthetic fools” are getting increasingly scarce, aren’t they?
Sakurai: Because fashion comes first.
Ichikawa: Stylers9 are born on after another, but it’s just the shape of one. In the amateurs, in indies, and on major labels too.
ISSAY: Hahahahahaha. Styler (laughs)
Sakurai: (laughs) What is that exactly, a styler?
Ichikawa: Hm? Someone who personifies STYLE10.
Sakurai: Hahahaha. What a great way to say it.
Ichikawa: In the middle of the ‘80s, there was an underground aesthetic music scene centered in Shinjuku, and it was nothing but fine fools, wasn’t it?
ISSAY: It was, it was. Jean Genet11 was doing well.
Ichikawa: (laughs) There were no bands that I think a major label would be willing to spend production and advertising costs on thinking like, “This will sell!”
ISSAY: That’s right. But it’s because they had power.
Ichikawa: That underground power, it comes from a scene that has a sad history where, regardless of how good they were, their values were different from the above ground, and for this reason alone they were not recognized, right?
ISSAY: But isn’t that how it ends up in the world?
Ichikawa: Der Zibet is also still the odd one out among that group – because even while ISSAY’s “aesthetic of spinning circles in a dead end” stands out, the sounds have also been properly done.
ISSAY: It was still weird though. (laughs) However, we really were criticized for it. At the time we first put music out, it was written about as “kayou rock”.12 If you had slightly melodious lyrics, you’d quickly be branded with that.
Sakurai: We were as well. (laughs)
Ichikawa: But now there are no fools. And that’s regrettable. Because as I see it, rock is pulled along by fools. It improves the expression and the like.
ISSAY: Well, but…
Ichikawa: Guys like us need to keep going, is what I’m saying.
ISSAY: That’s what you meant. (laughs)
Sakurai: Hahahahahaha.
Ichikawa: I’m asking this right at the end, but ISSAY’s solo album production project is actually now going on in secret, but of course, Sakurai Atsushi, I think you must be obligated to participate in it in any case, right?
ISSAY: Hahahahaha. Will you do it?
Sakurai: I’ll do it!
1 This is literally noted in the text, lol. 2 This could also be “restless” or “flippant”, but those fit less well to me. 3 A live house in Tokyo. The internet tells me this show was on January 17th, 1988. 4 Onomatopoeia translation hard. 5 I felt this transition was weird in English, but it’s clear in Japanese at least that he’s implying London shouldn’t have been comfortable compared to Hawaii. 6 This is basically the first time in the whole interview that ISSAY speaks formally, and it’s for exaggerated effect. Very opposite of Sakurai, who has been 100% formal. 7 Now just “Hands” – a home center store for housing and lifestyle products. 8 “Egui” means a lot of things, but it’s apt for B-T’s music: dark topics on emotional things, taboo social subjects. 9 I spent like 5 minutes trying to figure this out before reading on. He made this word up. Sakurai and Issay didn't know what he meant either. Thanks for keeping me on my toes, Ichikawa. 10 “Style” was written in English here. 11 This appears to be a reference to this playwright’s style of work more than he himself. 12 Better Japanese music historians may know more than me, but this seems like the pre-Band Boom name for this kind of music. THE ALFEE, for example, is listed as one of the founding groups of this sound on JP Wikipedia.

Hiii! I saw ur account is open to Twisted Wonderland requests and I do hope I can make one request!
Maybe a request for Mozus Trein with an S/O(ofc they’re the same age as him) that is shy and timid but was once an outgoing teenager when they were young and how the two bond now that they’re seeing each other again with both of them knowing that both of them obviously had a crush on one another since teens but separated due to familial circumstances(def didn’t inspire this by an oc of mine, hahahahahaaa-)
Thank you so much for the request!! and yeahh, many of my ideas are based of OC's- Since you didn't specify, I decided to write this as a short fic, since i've been wanting to write one for quite a while now, i hope that's okay!! (tbh I'm so used to writing headcanons, that if you really want to, you can also read this as headcanons) Hope you enjoy :) Also, i refuse to take Treins girl dad privilege's so i simply turned his marriage into an arranged one-
---------------------------------------------------------
Trein and Childhood crush!Reader reconnecting after years apart
Characters: Mozus Trein
Format: Short Fic (972 words)
Warnings: None that i can think of
Tumblr media
Trein was rummaging through some old stuff, with his wife's death a few years ago, he decided to declutter, when he stumbled upon an old box. An old box, filled with memories of his time as a teenager. Many of them included pictures of the two of you, how could they not, when he used to spend most of his time wishing he could spend every waking moment with you. Trein has always been an orderly person, perhaps that's why he loved you, you and your outgoing personality, never shying away from anything. If he was completely honest, he still does, and there is nothing he regrets more, than not marrying you.
He still remembers the day like it was yesterday, when his parents told him he was to be married, to a woman he didn't even know, once they were both eighteen, how it broke his heart. Of course, it had to be the same day he planned to finally confess to you. So, when you met him at your favorite spot, instead of a carefully planned speech about his feeling, one he knows he would have messed up anyways at the sight of your smile, he blurted out that he's engaged. He had never felt more pain, than as he watched your heart break, seeing the pain in your eyes. He only wishes that you were able to see how it hurt him too. And the two of you coming from a generation before phones existed made it hard to stay connected, so, in the end you lost sight of each other. Oh, how he wished he could have rebelled against his parents, he still wishes he did, but he always followed the rules his parents set, believing they only wanted the best for him, so how was he supposed to just stop? He is truly happy with his life, there is nothing he loves more than his daughters, and yet to this day, you have never left his heart. To this day, it wishes it were you with who he lived this life.
And it seems that his wishes were heard for once, as the doorbell rings. He is confused at first, the person at the door seems familiar to him, he just can't quite pin point it, at least not until the familiar stranger speaks-
"Long time no see, Mozus"
No matter how much you've changed over the years, the way you speak his name as you smile at him is something that remained the same, something that he could never forget. He invited you inside, the shock of seeing you so long painted clearly on his face. The two of you sit down at the coffee table, as he hands you your drink. He has many questions, and he can only assume you do too. It doesn't take long before you two are talking as openly as you did when you were younger, reminiscing about the older days, discussing what each of you did during your time apart; he tells much about his lovely daughters, talking about each of them as if they're a piece of art, before asking what you did during your time away. He noticed rather quickly that you spoke much quieter than when you were young, holding yourself back during stories instead of making them as big as can be, where he wouldn't have gotten a word in when you were young, he was now leading the conversation. But he couldn't say that he minded, it was only normal to change with age, and he's afraid his aged body wouldn't be able to handle the adventures attitude you had as a child; the change is welcomed with open arms, just as you welcomed everything that changed about him. The conversation lasts well into the night, it is already dark out when the two of you finally become tired. Being the gentleman that he is, and always was, he invites you to stay the night, perhaps even a few more if you have travelled from afar to meet him. As he goes to sleep, he feels a warmth he hasn't felt in years.
It was an early morning, when the sound of meows awoke you. It seems it didn't take long for Lucius to warm up to you either, as the tuxedo cat lets you pet him, albeit only for a few minutes, before elegantly walking of to eat breakfast. Deciding to follow suit, you get dressed and make your way to the kitchen. When you arrive, Trein is already making breakfast, wishing you a good morning, before returning his attention to the eggs. He is already dressed to a tee, you can only imagine how early he woke up. You decide to help him, carrying the finished food to the table, as you started to properly wake up. "Didn't you say you work at a college? don't you have to go to work soon?" you ask as you both sit down at the table. "Luckily, you visited me during the holidays, I have three more weeks before i need to return to work." He responded, a smile on his face. Very quickly the two of you made plans for these weeks, to reconnect.
And reconnect you did. Your plans very quickly turned into dates, as the two of you realize that neither of you ever got over your feelings. You finally do all, or rather all the things that you can do at your age, that you wanted to do as teenagers. Eventually, you even meet his daughters, who luckily seem to like you. They know their parents marriage was arranged, and seeing their father happy with you, makes them happy.
It may have taken many, many years of longing, but it seems that, in the end, fate still had a happy ending in mind for the two of you.
Tumblr media
Very fun to write, very happy that i finally had the chance to try and write a proper fic!!
Feedback is welcomed, just be nice please :)
Hope you have a nice day/night!

I've been playing the last 5 min of the ep on loop for more than an hour and holy shit. I have so much to talk about.
At first Blitz’s attitude towards Stolas reclaiming the book is understandable, from a business POV: he needs the book to perform his job! It makes sense he gets a little desperate, tries to keep up the bargain, begs for Stolas to rethink.
Tumblr media
But then. Then Stolas gives him the crystal, in one of the sweetest ways possible.
Like a marriage proposal.
Tumblr media
The crystal is supposed to be everything Blitz wants, because, supposedly, fucking Stolas is just part of the deal… in any other situation, with any other person, he would’ve been like sure! Cool, thanks :)
But not for a single second he looks happy with this. We all know it’s because deep down he feels the same way… But he gets upset, worried, afraid. From the get-go.
Tumblr media
And Stolas is telling him the loveliest things. He’s pouring his absolute heart out. I don’t think I expected him to tell Blitz exactly how he feels but he does. Just like in his texts, he’s completely honest with him:
“Blitz, I’m giving you this because… I care... VERY deeply for you. And I have for some time.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
How he places the crystal on his wrist like a ring on a fiancée’s finger. This is Stolas’ absolute biggest gesture of love. He’s setting Blitz free! From this transactional thing… That’s what Blitz wants… right?
Tumblr media
“I want you to continue to… be who you are. Your business!” This was such a kind thing to say. In his eyes, Blitz is perfect as he is and I wonder how often - perhaps if ever - Blitz has heard something like this. The music reflects Stolas’ honesty and affection, the soft and beautiful melody that we know so well… This is Stolas’ big moment, his declaration of love.
“You don’t have to stay here with me... But... I want you to. I want you to stay here with me. Because you want to. Only if you want to.”
And honestly… the shock on Blitz’ face when Stolas says that first line (the "you don't have to stay" one):
Tumblr media
Like seriously?? Biggest shock so far? Blitz doesn’t want to separate from Stolas! He wants to stay with him! But when Stolas reveals his truth… that he wants Blitz to stay because Blitz himself wants to and not for any deal or arrangement…
Tumblr media
And Blitz, who still can’t believe someone could genuinely love him, responds in the only way he thinks he should: in their “business language”, the language of sex. Because he cannot let the truth sink into his heart.
Tumblr media
Of course this hurts Stolas, for whom this reaction is only proof that his feelings are unrequited. If Blitz can’t respond to him in any other way than this, there’s little chance he feels the same…
And still, he is so so kind:
“Thank you Blitz. For… awakening me. For making me… so happy… if only for a little while.”
He was trapped in an unhappy, abusive marriage for so long and Blitz saved him from that. Thanks to Blitz, Stolas had a chance to find out who he was, change his life for the better, and experience true happiness. But if Blitz can’t give Stolas what he needs emotionally, then this is where it has to end.
Tumblr media
And Blitz retaliates in the only way he knows how: self-protection. He doesn’t want this to end, but he also never expected Stolas to feel genuine love for him. He HAS no time to think about this, in his eyes Stolas is ending this on his own terms. But he doesn’t have the full words; he hasn’t faced his own feelings and, if he can’t even be genuine with himself, how can he be genuine with Stolas?
But his words, that he’s saying partly because he truly believes them but likely also because he wants to protect himself from the pain, cut Stolas like knives. Stolas flinches when Blitz calls him "asshole" and "bitch":
Tumblr media
Blitz's words... shatter his heart.
Tumblr media
Stolas has been on the receiving end of hate for a long time. But to hear this from the one he loves so much... It's simply too much to handle. So he sends Blitz away.
As Blitz’s apology still echoes through the air.

so i was just thinking. solomon's like super in love with mc right? so that would mean he'd have a soft spot for them and would be nicer to some extent towards the mc. but like, how much contrast? i've seen instances where he's straight up sarcastic, snarky or "lmao idc" to some extent with other characters, and do you think if the same instance took place w mc as the subject he'd act the same way? most probably not right? as an ardent solomon lover, i just find the thought funny that it would be a running joke (it more or less is a thing with all characters and mc anyway but im just imagining it w solomon) amongst everyone about how nice solomon is with mc but is whatever w everyone. to what extent do u think is the contrast in character? how nice do u think he is in general, because i see many posts about how lovely he is to mc but is it the same with everyone? and how much sweeter do u think he is to us?? i just love thinking abt this because like...im so specialz yay pls love me solomon :')
Oh yeah. Solomon is notoriously down bad for MC. (At least, this is my opinion and I know others feel the same way.)
And I think this translates most in that he does things or acts a certain way with MC that he doesn't do with the others.
He has a general respect for most of the other characters and I think he keeps things civil. Some of them he likes more than others. But in a general sense, Solomon is a smart and powerful guy who is likely always aware of the fact that he's a human among demons and angels. I think he tends to hold everybody else at arm's length out of a sense of self preservation. He eventually opens up more as the story progresses and he becomes more friendly with everyone.
But he doesn't let anyone get as close to him as MC.
I don't know if I'd say he's nicer to MC, necessarily. I would say that he has more trust for MC. He tells MC things he would never tell anyone else. He's also very protective of MC. He's unlikely to go out of his way to protect the others or to defend them to people. But with MC? He shows up when they need him. He stands up for them even when they aren't around.
And I'd say that Solomon would do anything for MC. The others might ask him for help and he's often willing to give it, but he has no problem saying no to any of them (except perhaps Asmo, but even then I think he would if it was a big deal). But for MC, Solomon would lay down his life. Nobody can convince me that a man who would travel back in time just to help bring MC back wouldn't also take a bullet for them if it came down to that.
I don't think a situation like that would ever actually happen. And I also think that Solomon would try to find other ways of fixing things - like I said, this man is smart.
Still I think perhaps the most obvious evidence of him treating MC differently comes down to how much he's been willing to tell them about himself. He's told MC about his childhood, his loneliness, the way MC reminds him of his humanity, how he's jealous of the brothers. He's said these things to MC directly. He's honest and forthright with them.
Not that he lies to everybody else - in fact, I think he's a pretty terrible liar. But he keeps his secrets. He just doesn't tell them to anyone else.
Sure, he still has some secrets from MC. But I think he's keeping them because doing so is keeping MC safe. And I think in the end, he'll tell MC everything.
And THAT is the biggest difference. Solomon loves MC, but Solomon also trusts MC with the deepest truths of himself.

To be honest I was very underwhelmed by this episode. It might have been the overabundance of stills that gave away a lot of the emotional beats. But they just didn't land as they were supposed to. The episode felt choppy. Just like this whole season. They just tried to cram too much into too little time.
Don't get me wrong. There were some scenes and story lines that I adored. But overall, I was not a fan.
Athena going rogue is still my least favourite Athena. Angela acted her ass of and I'm actually really glad it was not Amir who set the Grant-Nash house on fire. That was a good choice. I liked his talk with Bobby at the end. Malcolm was just glorious. A joy to watch. And I loved, loved loved, the scene with Harry and May in the hospital. That was very sweet.
I liked that Maddie and Chim took Mara in until the situation is resolved. This is a good set up for next season. It gives happy present with potential for future drama. And I'm guessing there is going to be a lot. But I liked how both Hen and Maddie clocked Athena acting weird. I really enjoyed the friendships on this show. They are getting better with each episode. I hope we will get to see more of the Wilsons and the Buckley-Hans. But I need for them to include the Buckley-Diazes next season as well.
I skipped the bummy scene because who cares. I just want that man gone.
On the other hand the Buckley-Diaz mess was so wonderfully painful and earnest (even though they still insist on the Buckleys not really being shitty parents. I will never buy what you are selling).
Ryan and Oliver really acted their hearts out. I wish the scenes had a little more room to breath and we got a hug after Chris left but overall it was not the worst set up.
The Diaz parents had some good points though that doesn't make Chris asking to go to Texas any less heartbreaking. Buck's subtle headshake after his talk with Chris about broke me. Eddie really has a lot of healing to do. And I hope he gets the chance to and I know Buck will be there for him every step of the way. I mean, they could have hardly intertwine them any more if they tried.
I hate that people were right about Gerard coming back as the 118 captain. Nothing good can come from it. But I guess we will need to wait till autumn to find out how much the shit will hit the fan.
Overall, the season was not a total loss but it definitely suffered from too many plot lines and too little time.

MCL New Gen ep 4 spoliers !
alright alright ! the new episode is out for VIPs, and just like the previous one I got to play Roy's route early, I'll play Thomas' once the ep releases for everyone !
without further ado, click on "keep reading" to see my full opinion !
so first we got to go to the Cosy Bear for potentially meet Castiel serving, but sadly we've arrived late and didn't get to actually meet him, we did get to see Lynn however, tho I understand how Castiel's fans must be disappointed, like I would have loved o see how mister rockstar deals with serving customers, it could be really funny !
then Lynn and Thomas have a small discussion and Thomas just casually told her he was in love with her in he past (I will not go into details about him because, again, I'll make another post about his route later) which led to the topic of romantic relationships. now there was a quick scene with Brune before going to the cafe about her relationship with Roy and the bet the night before, and honestly I was kinda worried about it with the way she approached us but it turns out she's not mad about the kiss, so that was a relief.
to go back at the cafe discussion we got to know each characters' relationship statues and, surely, we got to Roy and Brune's, and while I did expect them to not have an actual serious relationship, I was surprised by how honest they were about their true feelings, and I was ESPECIALLY surprised by the fact that THEY DID NOT EVEN KISS. so anyway they ended up breaking up in a calm and mature way, which I did no expect but honestly ? as uncomfortable as the whole thing was I'm glad it turned that way instead of being messy, however it seemed like both Thomas and Devon were pretty disappointed with the lack of drama which is hilarious.
now we get to Candy's relationship with her ex and we've got the choice to got into details or not, I've chosen the first option which raised my LOM with Roy and as much as I should have expected this I did NOT expect how nice our coworkers were, especially Roy and Devon ! first Roy saying that he hopes karma will get to our ex is the sweetest thing, I'm even more in love with him ! then Devon who says they will not make business with our ex-workplace which is so awesome from him, couldn't ask for a better boss than him !
then we see Jason and the topic of why he's our enemy is brought up and honestly ? I hate him even more... basically his company is just to spite the fact he was disqualified to the contest because... he cheated... and took the opportunity of working with the city hall so he could copy Devon's project... good job, dickhead, you've played yourself ! now I want even more to mess with his plans and drive him to ruin ! *insert maniacal laugh*. now about his past relationships is none of my business, he can have many conquests I don't care, I'm definitely not into him anyway. (anyway sorry for those who do like him, nothing against you, I just don' like him at all)
and FINALLY we get to the illus scene which in the case of Roy happens in the bus and wow, I do wish I was in the place of Candy there ! the way he holds us close to him so we wouldn't fall while potentially not thinking much about it just because he might think it's just normal I just... aaaaaahhhh I love him ! then we discuss more about our expectations in a relationship and it's clear he would be such a good partner, I wish I had one like him...
Tumblr media
and here you go, many people may think nothing much happened but remember that we're still in an introduction state, this episode was clearly about learning the LIs' view on relationship, and from what I see on the preview it seems like the next episode might make things more serious in terms of story, so hold on, be patient, it could still be great !
anyway, that's all for me, have a nice day !

Oh boy! I love this! I'm gonna do it as romantic because why not? I love this li'l twink spider so much 💗 🥰
🎃
At first he's just as over the top sexual with you as he is with everyone else,
That is until he realises he might actually have feelings for you.
Then he'll try his hardest to tone it down, really he will! Though he's still likely gonna make an insane ammount of innuendos, inappropriate jokes, or just plain sniggering at every conceivable comment from you or anyone else.
Once he's certain of his feelings, he'll be really hesitant to approach you about them, thinking that you wouldn't want anything to do with him after he drops that bombshell.
It's likely going to take a lot of encouragement from the others for him to even contemplate confessing to you, deep down he's so insecure and scared he'll lose you for good.
It will probably have to be you who approaches him, to be honest; He's fine with casual stuff no matter how kinky or depraved it may be, but actual feelings? What the hell is he supposed to do with those?!
Once you do open up to him, he has a mini panic attack; you actually like him back? How? What? Aren't you like the exact opposite of him? Flustered Angel is adorable TM
There will likely be a lengthy talk about what your limits are so he knows not to overstep any boundaries, but damnit, he's determined to make this work! He doesn't develop feelings like this often, or at all, really, so this is big for him.
Surprisingly, he ends up being fine with it all; something he once told you when you were feeling insecure was that sex was his job. You are not his job. That's how he's fine with it. He doesn't love very often, if ever, so for him to love you was something special that he wasn't about to give up for something as trivial as sex.
This still doesn't mean he'll stop being a dirty minded little shit. Sorry, that's just Angel.
Expect lots of cuddles. He loves cuddles, in fact, and he will wrap all six arms around you like you're a teddy bear and *cling*.
You can't tell me that he isn't cuddly. Look how fluffy he is!!
He likes to be the little spoon a lot of the time but isn't opposed to switching things up from time to time if you want.
He'll give you lots of kisses, too.
He's a very affectionate spider, and he needs some way of showing it!
Not shy when it comes to pda either. He'll love it if you hug or kiss him in public, and honestly, showing him genuine affection in public probably one of the few times you can actually get him to blush!
He still can't decide whether he prefers when you sit on his lap or him on yours during movie nights, but either way he loves it.
Is super defensive of you. If anyone says anything bad about you, he will make them pay one way or another. No one, NO ONE, speaks ill of his (y/n).
And vice versa: if anyone starts badmouthing him +/ your relationship, you are the first to jump to his defense.
Bottom line here: he loves you and accepts you and would do pretty much anything for you... but still struggles to tone down the filth most of the time.

Tumblr media
Chapters 1 to 8 here on AO3
If you like the tattoo AU give it some love on my AO3, please. It would mean a lot to me. TYSM!
+++++
Just to give you a heads-up, this AU is not finished with today's prompt.
But it will be tomorrow!
I wrote a longer ending and I don't want to cram all of it in here today. Therefore, there will be a "mayprompt 32 determined". 😊
+++++
White Pony Tattoo - Part Eleven (pride)
Have I ever wondered about the shop’s name?
John took his time to think about it. Answering Sherlock’s agitated question correctly was of utmost importance. Not trying to guess what Sherlock might like to hear. Sherlock would probably detect any lie in a matter of seconds anyway.
John did not want to jeopardize the trust Sherlock had shown to him so far by opening up about his troubled past. Therefore, he decided to be completely honest.
“Actually, no. I just thought it was a very catchy name and the design of the running pony was beautiful.” John admitted. “Sorry, if that’s disappointing but it’s the plain truth.”
Sherlock laughed but it was a pained and unhappy sound.
“The White Pony is street slang for cocaine, John.” Seeing the involuntary widening of John’s pupils, Sherlock carried on, his voice dripping with self-contempt.
“Yes, I’ve been a junkie. A full-blown cocaine addict at the age of 22 and when I overdosed the third time I died in the ambulance on my way to the hospital.”
Sherlock’s agitation manifested itself in restless pacing around the tattoo parlour while he talked in rapid-fire mode.
“The reason for my phoenix is not as glorious as the one for yours. It’s neither heroic nor is it noble. It’s just pathetic. The tattoo covers all of the damage the needles inflicted onto my veins but the scars are still below the ink for everyone to see if I let them. Which I don’t. My phoenix is reminding me on a daily basis that I’ve been weak and stupid.”
Sherlock stopped in front of the computer, pulling visciously at his curls and staring wildly at John.
John was baffled by the amount of self-loathing Sherlock felt. If all of the caustic derision and acidic hate in Sherlock’s rant had been directed at John, he would have dissolved into a puddle right on the spot.
Carefully, John got out of the recliner chair and walked up to Sherlock.
“How long have you been sober?” He asked calmly.
“Eleven years since my rehab following the reanimation.” Sherlock snorted. “That doesn’t change anything.”
“Sherlock, believe me, I’ve had my fair share of dealing with addiction. Not myself, but my sister has been an alcoholic since her teens.” John spoke slowly and firmly, making sure that every word found its way into Sherlock’s brain.
“She had multiple tries to get sober and been to rehab. But sadly, she never managed to stay that way. The addiction always claimed her back, sometimes it took two years, sometimes it was just two months.”
Sherlock calmed a bit. Curiously he watched John, listening intensely.
“Yes, you are an ex-junkie.” John nodded. “But the emphasis is on the ex and not on the junkie.” John stepped up very close to Sherlock and fixated him with a stern stare to really drive his point home.
It didn’t work.
Sherlock’s face became hard and in a flurry of motion he pulled the black t-shirt over his head and flung it away onto the ground.
On part of Sherlock’s chest and over his right shoulder, John saw a masterfully tattooed realistic head and neck of a pony.
“But that’s exactly it, John! The cocaine will never leave me!” Sherlock exclaimed and slowly turned so that John could see his back. It was covered with the body of a running pony.
“The White Pony is always running behind my back, following me everywhere. It looks over my shoulder, watching and waiting that I’ll cave someday and invite it back into my life.” Sherlock spat furiously.
The total lack of understanding sparked John’s ire. “You totally misunderstood what I’d meant to say. How can you be so fucking thick?”
John’s voice raised in volume. “My sister, Sherlock, she never made it. Nine months after I’ve returned to London, she died of alcohol poisoning and acute liver failure.”
John fought back the stinging sensation in his eyes.
“So don’t you dare,” John poked his index finger right into Sherlock’s chest who immediately flinched over the silent rage in John’s eyes, “to think that you’re weak. Eleven years of sobriety is a fucking long time, Sherlock.”
Another poke.
“You had to be strong to resist the siren call of substance abuse every time when life got difficult again and obstacles have turned up.” John poked the chest once again, forcefully and this time it was intended to hurt.
“You have been strong and you have achieved perfection in what you do!” A vicious double poke followed.
“You should be fucking proud of yourself, God dammit Jesus Christ holy shit!”
