Crossover that is stewing away in my head

So I got duel links recently and have not stopped playing it since (I’m almost to level 17 in the 5ds area because it’s my favorite and I desperately want the synchro aromage monster((she is very cute)).

I was thinking about how cool it was that signer dragons effects paralleled their user and at that same time I had fire emblem three houses brain rot, I still do but i thought of Team 5ds and which houses they’d go into.

EXTREMELY LONG POST AHEAD (I’m so sorry)

Yusei: Blue Lions

He seems like he’d fit in so well in the class, personality wise, he’s quiet but he’s incredibly smart with a pretty good eye for strategy. He’s extremely kindhearted and loyal to the point where it’s unhealthy and damaging to himself, I feel like Yusei could easily get along with someone like Dimitri because of that.

Unit Class: Holy Knight

Other than the fact that I found it necessary for him to be some kind of mount because of the whole concept of 5ds revolving around the d-wheels, I thought that faith magic was a good fit for him. Going back to the signer dragon’s effects, Victim’s Sanctuary could translate into a once-per-battle spell where Yusei’s able to heal every ally on the map up a high amount but it takes a very heavy toll on him, something like taking a turn or two where he has to “recharge” and is unable to move or attack for two straight turns. It’s something of a last resort to turn to when the battle starts to look dire. He also has access to healing magic to keep his allies and those he holds dear safe. Although he’s someone who is mostly a magic user, he isn’t as good at it as Mercedes or Annette. I’d place him at around Sylvain’s level, better than average but not exceptional at it. At close range I feel like he’d be good with a lance or a bow, both keep him at a decent distance but close enough to the action where he can keep an eye on his allies.

Jack: Black Eagles

He’s arrogant and prideful but is extremely passionate about the people closest to him. Because of this, he’s extremely willing to fight for what he believes in, either with words or fists. If he were to meet Edelgard and she told him about her reasons for wanting to take down the church of seiros, he might be empathetic towards her cause and even might join in.

Unit Class: Great Knight or War Master

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to keep the theme of team 5ds all having their own mounts because, as funny and fitting as I found it, it’s pretty restrictive in the long run. Red Dragon Archfiend’s attack points being the highest out of the signer dragons and it’s effect destroying all monster that hadn’t attacked made me think of Jack being a class that is more reliant on physical attack instead of any sort of magic. I’m leaning more towards War Master because of their high crit rate, usually high strength growths and god awful resistance. Jack himself is pretty reckless but incredibly strong, whether that be physically or emotionally, also adding to Jack being one of those units that hit like an 18-wheeler on the odd occasion that he actually lands a hit. Also!! Like how Yusei has his own spell, I think giving Jack a combat art named after one of his dragon’s attack names would be more fitting. Absolute Powerforce (very metal name) being a better smash that has a base 50% crit rate that gets added to Jack’s own personal rate but it’s also a one- time-use art and it gets Dimitri’s crest side effect of doubling the weapon cost just to balance it out (slightly lmao).

Crow: Golden Deer

Crow is the group’s mama bird, he’s also laid back but is an extremely hard worker. He also has something that the rest of the members don’t have: common sense. I feel like he and Claude would get along really well, both with being laid back and on a deeper level considering they both have faced some kind of oppression in their pasts. I just feel like they’d be besties y’know. Plus crow already has experience with dealing with a rowdy group.

Unit Class: Wyvern Lord

Self-explanatory, he’s the bird guy with the motorcycle that has the wings attached, OF COURSE he’s in the air!! Crow is also very crafty and cunning when he needs to be, especially when it comes down to protecting his friends or getting them what they need. I can’t explain it, but I feel like Crow would be a sword user. Light enough for him to still be agile while also being good at landing hits. He’d have high dexterity but he’d struggle with landing hard hits but he’s fast and very good at denting enemies. I had no idea what Black-Winged Dragon’s effect was until today but I think that a combat art called “Shadow Squall Blast” that slightly boosts his attack and he gains around 50% of the damage that he lands on the enemy, it also lowers the strength and defense of enemies within a small range. I think that it’s somewhat fitting both for Crow’s personality and his monster’s effect.

Aki: Ashen Wolves

At first, I thought about placing Aki and Jack in the Black Eagles but I remembered that there was a fourth class and the more that I thought about it, I figured that Aki would be a very good fit in there. The whole idea that the Ashen Wolves house being for those shunned by people above reminded me of the Arcadia Movement and how Aki only wanted to be accepted by anyone, the people in abyss find solace in their solitude. Aki and Yuri might butt heads from time to time but I feel like she and Hapi could bond over their unwanted powers.

Originally, I thought that Valkyrie would be more fitting but Dark Flier stands out as a class that is extremely good at magic and with Aki’s abilities as a psychic duelist, she’d be extremely adept at using magic. She also uses Black Magic, much like Hapi but she does have some physical strength, using a lance to attack her enemies, it’s far enough to keep a safe distance from enemies but close enough to land a hit if necessary. Her special spell, “Black Rose Gale” is a spell with 2 uses, probably something that takes 50% of the hp of the enemies within a large range or an AOE attack where the enemies that are left with a poison effect. She’s the best and strongest magic user out of the four of them, her resistance is pretty good too but her physical strength and defense is okay at best.

Simple, but super effective. Makes you feel like the only person in the entire world

Shouji: literally he doesn’t even need to ask you just say yes lmaojk. He’s another sweetiepie- not too over the top but then again its definitely not simple. He’ll get you a bouquet of roses and use one of his arms to place one of thm into your hair while goving you the most gentle look. He’ll ask “will you go to prom with me?” super chill as shouji is but you die anyways cus hes enfnendnednwdndj ur so lucky

Tokoyami: oh my sweet god above you would swear he was trying to perform on stage. If he’s feeling a little 👉🏻👈🏻 shy, he’ll write you a love letter- describing in deep detail every little thing he feels for you (and it’ll make you cry bc he notices all the tiny things you didnt even realise you did and loves you for them all the same). But so help you lord if he’s feeling confident. He’ll walk down the UA steps like he’s about to fight God and hand you black roses, being all “y/n..my love, will you be my dark queen to the prom?” N ur like “fumikage we’ve been dating for over a year of course”

Kouda: aAAAAAAAAA shy baby please send him help. Takes like a month of the class hyping him up but eveNTUALLY. He does it. Let’s be real if koji kouda has a crush on you you have the personality of an angel and probably love animals so he isn’t afraid of humiliation at all. Aoyama: this dramatic mf i love it. If you’re being asked by aoyama- he’s gonna make it memorable. 1. Do you prefer writing with a black pen or a blue pen?

both really, i don’t have a preference

2. Would you prefer to live in the country or in the city?

country! i hate cities so much! i grew up visiting my grandparents farm all the time growing up! although instead of the country preferably a seaside town such as the one i live in. it’s not too busy but not far away from everything.. plus i couldn’t part from the sea! 

3. If you could learn a new skill, what would it be?

picking back up painting, continue learning norwegian (don’t look at me like that marianne i keep saying i’m learning it but i’ve been so slack asdfdsasdf), get back into marimba

4. do you drink your tea/coffee with sugar?

tea with sugar is so gross! i only drink herbal teas. my favourite is spearmint

5. What was your favourite book as a child?

the harry potter series!! and the rainbow magic books asdfgfdsa, the princess diaries series, anything roald dahl, anything dr suess, captain underpants lol, hairy maclary, mr mcgee and the biting flea asdfdsadf soo many i was such a loner as a child and literally read every single book i could find

i blocked out so much of my childhood eeep ummm probably visiting my grandparents farm, riding horses, my grandfather driving us around on a trailer on the back of a tractor, collecting cicada skins with my brother and starting a collection of cool bugs, stealing berries off the mulberry bush ahaha, finding snake skins (why did we like collecting skins wtf asdfd)

yes!! i was the loner kid in school who sat in the library at lunch reading all the books asdfgfdsa. the last book i read was the raven king by maggie stiefvater because LIBBY got me totally obsessed with this series god dammit what have you done to me and i am currently reading call down the hawk which is a sequel to the raven king (dammit libby asdfdsdfdsa)

i think what bugged me the most is i could say ‘they’re literal depression pills/they made me depressed’ and could reel off the side effect word for word (1/10 will experience mood swings (sometimes in the form of depression)) which was literally the first fricking side effect listed and the most common and she would still refer to it as me being sad literally seconds later in a convo. okay i never went to the doctor but when it occurred to me that, hey, something isn’t right, we were in the middle of a fucking pandemic!! i mean, we still are, but you get the point. this was right at the beginning when they basically closed everything as well so even if i wanted to i wouldn’t have been able to go see someone about it. but it’s whatever now, i don’t take them and i don’t have to give her any advice about them ✌️ i completely get the lack of validity about your emotions. that’s exactly how i felt.

i work so im not bothered about seeing people as i see them enough by my standards already but there is a helpful little voice in the back of my head reminding me that i still need to see my friends!! from before i got a job lol. i worked like 55 hours? my first proper week when i wasn’t on reduced hours and now i work maybe 30? which annoys me so i’m gonna ask for more bc i wanna buy a car and insurance. you still go to school, right? i feel like you’re more stressed about work considering you’re studying too. or were. have you just broken up from school? i don’t study, thank fuck, anymore, so i can do full time but i always get put on evenings so i’m thinking of getting a 9 to 5 bc then i can get the money i need.

a woman was rude to me bc her takeaway wasn’t ready bang on the clock when she turned up to pick it up. man it took literally every fibre in my being not to tell her to fucking leave me alone bc i’m a waitress?? what does she expect me to do??? i found out after but apparently our website tells you to allow a 15 minute slot when you order takeaway to pick up. i checked on this woman’s takeaway and told her it’d be ready in 10 minutes and she said sumn along the lines of ‘so 10 past 8?’. imma tell you straight i wasn’t looking at my phone so i assumed that meant the time was 8pm! (it wasn’t) she said to me ‘and i assume you’ll be knocking money off of the bill for that?’ and i politely replied ‘i can’t do that.’ bc i literally cannot. has to be a managerial figure. bearing in mind she’s already paid in full online???????? n she replies ‘do you wanna go suggest that?’ and nods towards the kitchen and i said no and walked off. the AUDACITY??? anyway i told my manager and she rolled her eyes and was like we don’t do partial refunds and said she’d talk to the woman when her order was ready. this woman was all up in my face saying ‘do you think that’s a reasonable time?’ asking if she should come back at 8:10 and im like idfk?? i have things to be doing can you fuck off?? no i didn’t say that but she says ‘i’ve got kids in the car with the engine running’ and i deadpanned ‘i didn’t tell you to leave your kids in the car with the engine running’ bc it was the first thing my brain thought of that wasn’t ‘sounds like a you problem to me’. in the end she left and came back but when she came back she was properly shouting at another waitress i work with and the girl was like 😄 your food was ready 20 minutes ago but you didn’t leave your details to be able to ring you to tell you it’s ready. she even re-mentioned the kids in the car saying they were starving and it was all our fault and the girl was like hmm okay. and then the woman said she was gonna leave a bad review on trip advisor!! and the waitress was like 😃 you do that bestie!! another great day on the grind :D (i forgot to say we were swamped on saturday so that’s why everything was so busy but she was literally the only one complaining that bad, like literally everyone could see we were struggling but they also were saying to wait staff things like ‘i know you can’t make things go quicker back there’ while we were apologising for the phat delay on their food).

another funny one (that made the barman laugh when i told it to him) was a grandma and a grandson in my section. the grandma was dictating his life jesus 😭 (not important but made me go 😳) but one of the girls cleared the table partially when i was doing sumn else so i finished it off and when we get back to kp she tells me the grandma complained the food was cold and without hesitation i said ‘well she fucking ate it all so tell her to fuck off and talk to someone who gives a shit’. she went quiet and i was like,, man i hope i didn’t scare her. but like. they cleared their plates. there was no food left. she didn’t call someone over. she didn’t say anything to anyone when they ask if it was okay. why wait until the end?? anyway i told thé barman and he giggled (he’s got a lovely laugh in my opinion bc it sounds like he’s snickering at everything). i was NOT going to tell my manager bc there’s literally no point. same day, later on, a man said his mussels were cold, i took them back and the kitchen cooked them again. i’d barely put the food down before he called me over (this one is a good one bc he hasn’t eaten EVERYTHING before complaining and therefore we can do something about the problem‼️) respect to that guy.

one of the girls gave me a lift home last night n the barman directed her right to my house without ever having been to my house before (his cousin used to live in the flats down the other end, he says) and when i messaged her later on thanking her and saying it was a bit sus that he directed her perfectly to mine n she said ‘hmm ben seems to go to yours more than he does his own home 🤔🤔🤔🤔’ bc apparently he was absolute shite at giving directions to his flat 😭 n e way he’s a sweetheart n he says he doesn’t like christmas anymore n he made me sad after he said that n i said i’d post coal through his letter box n he said i might as well n i was like okay this is an actual problem n now i’m gone be super nice to him at christmas bc he deserves so much more that the hand he’s been dealt. this convo happened after i let him try this herbal tea he said smelt nice n i said it tasted like christmas to me. he’s such a good person (despite literally everything he tells me about his past) n i cannot have him being a little humbug. god i think this crush i joked to you about is becoming a soft core friendship. like every fucking wattpad story out there. me n the girls agreed someone has to love him 🥺

i’d love to hear your cursed child opinions!

Oh boy, well now you’ve unleashed me :D lol I don’t know if you’re interested more in what I loved or in what I’d critique, so I’ll go for both I guess? And you can read whichever you like :) But tbh you won’t hear anything new from me that you haven’t heard other fans talk about. Anyways, here are my thoughts on the actual play: [Spoiler alert I guess!]

Things I loved:

- THE MAGIC!!! The effects were EVERYTHING. The time warp, the telephone booth, the floo, the underwater, the dementors, the writings on the walls, and so much more… Really cool!!! And I loved the whole vibe and aesthetic of the play too, it felt authentic and fitting! THE SWISHY CLOAKS!! I want them!!

- The scenes I especially enjoyed were Harry’s nightmares, glimpses into his past and scenes from the books in general. I think they executed those quite well, made me really soft! Especially the scenes of little Harry in his cupboard and also him in the graveyard. Gripped my heart. Oh, I also loved that they finally showed Cedric in the end, he was so perfect!!

- Draco. Yes yes yes to dad Draco. Still bitchy, pretentious, and petty, trying so hard to play cool and tough, but a pained softie deep inside—we STAN. The relationship between him and his son I CRI EVRITIEM!!! Draco in the alternative timeline letting Scorpius do what he believes in, Draco in the real timeline hugging his son, I LIVE. And oh my god that scene where Draco walked in to Harry crying.. GOD. Yes emotions, yes vulnerability, yes bonding, yes yes yes. (Though I still can’t get over the ponytail. Would’ve been more than fine if Lucius hadn’t been portrayed with long hair lol)

- I loved Albus!! He’s a good Slytherin boy! That’s all I have to say. He’s a good friend and son who tries his best. I liked him a lot, more so now after watching the play. He really did remind me of Harry in a lot of ways. (Also, unpopular opinion, but I always loved Albus Severus’ name and I always will, fight me.)

- And just all the dad-son relationships, parenthood themes, friendship between the boys, related conflicts… Loved all of them. Touching, inspiring, couldn’t get enough!

- McGonagall was fcking ON POINT. Fcking QUEEN. Get it girl. Show em how to understand and respect children 👏👏👏

- I really loved Snape too! It was nice to finally see him being his self that only Dumbledore got to see in the books. I loved his demeanor too. I know actors change, but the one I saw portrayed Snape in a way that felt more canon. As much as I love Alan Rickman, he was a bit too graceful and sophisticated for canon Snape. In the play, however, Snape was kind of more rough, more rash, less pulled together in a way that he spoke and moved. It’s subtle but I lived for that. Also he was finally short. Yes.

- I feel like I have to mention Harry too. I actually quite liked him, so I’m gonna put him under this list as well. Yeah, that one scene where he threatened McGonagall into strict surveillance of his son is a bit much, errr 😅😅😅 But overall, I like the idea of him struggling as a father, making mistakes and learning from them. He’s a good egg.

- Ron and Hermione, my babies!! I had issues with Ron’s characterization, but I did mostly enjoy the portrayal of their relationship. I liked that their roles within the play were mostly to be together or to find their ways to each other. Since so many fans are against their ship, I was really excited to see them. And I just loved Hermione in general. They got her characterization almost on-point too, I think. I just love her 🥰

- In general, I enjoyed a lot of the dialogue. I liked all those strong, emotional one-liners that make you gasp. Harry saying things, Albus saying things, Scorpius, Draco, Ginny, others… There were good examples of lines they’d say that perfectly articulated everything that they embodied or felt or were dealing with. Well done there.

Okayyy I’m sure there’s more I could think of, definitely, but I’ll stop here since this is already a lot 😁

Things I questioned:

- So the one single biggest thing that I am the most critical of has to do with the plot itself, and it’s about Cedric turning into a Death Eater. I’m sorry but I just can’t. I could write a whole essay on how this makes no canonical sense (and I probably will if you ask me lmaoo), but to sum it up, Cedric eventually turning bitter and evil because he was publicly humiliated directly contradicts his canon character development. Cedric’s humility, kindness, and fairness are the core qualities around which Cedric’s personality was developed in the books. He almost explicitly places popularity, glory, and reputation second, and that’s critical, because if failure and humiliation were to affect him so drastically, his primary core values needed to be broken down and changed beforehand, but they never weren’t. So presenting the Triwizard incident as the turning point for him does not make any sense, and as a result the rest of the narrative falls apart. This is a plot hole and hasty writing.

- Yeah, Bellatrix having a child is still kinda weird 🙃🙃 I just hate that because in the books Bellatrix played the archetype of this anti-mother, the antithesis of motherhood and motherly love. I feel like having her voluntarily bring a child into this world destroys that symbolism. It makes me unsatisfied.

- I had some issues with the very beginning and the whole “montage” of events leading up to the fourth year. I found it overwhelming and disorienting, even though I’ve already read the script and knew what’s going on. Still, I felt like I was hit by a train, watching all the fast-paced scenes, cliché chaotic small talk going on, years going by… It felt messy for some reason. I feel like I need to watch it again in order to fully catch up and process everything I saw, and that’s not a good sign. But I didn’t hate it, I just wish we were more eased into the story.

- Scorpius. Now listen. When I read the script, Scorpius was my favorite character. I LOVED him, this awkward nerd who loves his dad and best friend with all his heart. The way I grew to imagine him was quite not how he was portrayed in the play. I know the dialogue and everything’s all the same, but idk, Scorpius in the play was way more hyper, bolder than I pictured, and worst of all, he was going out of his way to be this wannabe player. He seemed so all over the place, even acting a bit arrogant sometimes, celebrating moments of over-confidence, chasing after girls, trying to be everything BUT himself. But that honestly might just be my takeaway alone. There’s nothing actually wrong with his character, I just found myself slightly disappointed with him in the play specifically. I wish I could see the play again to actually analyze things more thoroughly to explain why I feel this way, but I can’t. I still like Scorpius, but a different version of him. (tho damn did I love those skinny pants on him lmao 👌👌)

- Moaning Myrtle. Like, I laughed, it was funny, but it just wasn’t very tasteful lol and I was left feeling a bit uncomfortable from the idea of this young murdered girl writhing and thirsting over literally everyone. The play really blew that out of proportion and idk it’s kinda awkward when I think about it 😅 And in general, there was just so much thirsting… with Rose, Polly Chapman, Delphi… Not to mention Albus kissing his AUNT… Like damn chill JK please 😂 Weird cliches and teenage hormones aren’t the only source of comedy okay?? 😂😂😂 Also, speaking of Myrtle, I kinda wish there was something mentioned about Draco having had been friends with her in sixth year. Idk it would’ve been nice to see that relationship somehow reminisced since we didn’t really get to see it :) 

- Craig Bowker Jr... If he was supposed to be a parallel to Cedric, both being the spare, why did he get literally zero attention?? We don’t really know who he is, we don’t see anyone hurting because of his death, he’s killed with such apathy. We don’t even see his parent grieving, like we saw Amos (who also happen to be an integral part to the plot of CC!). The whole parallel is so incomplete. Poor Craig and his unsymbolic death..

- Ok I am obviously elaborating way too much so let me just quickly summarize the rest of things I don’t actually hate but might wanna rant about: RON IS NOT A JOKSTER—GEORGE IS. RON IS A FIGHTER. HE IS ALSO HARRY’S BEST FRIEND, NOT HERMIONE, BUT HE WAS MADE USELESS AND UNNEEDED, WHICH IS HIS ACTUAL WORST FEAR, SO WHO THE FUCK DARED. ROSE IS MORE THAN A BITCHY ROMANTIC INTEREST AND A BAD FRIEND. WHERE THE HELL IS HUGO. GINNY’S EVEN COOLER THAN SHE WAS PORTRAYED, I PROMISE. THE SURPRISE SECOND TIME TURNER ERRRR LOUSY PLOT DEVICE I’M SORRY. LACKLUSTER PLOT IN GENERAL, THE ONLY ACTUAL TWIST IS DELPHI’S REVEAL—NOT ENOUGH, JKR KNOWS BETTER THAN THIS, THE BOOKS WERE FULL OF TWISTS AND TURNS (but that’s kinda okay with me because the relationships between characters in CC really made the whole story worth it).

Alright enough :’D I’m not actually upset, just exaggerating haha Because overall, I liked the play. I wanna see it again. And I wanna analyze it more, too. I’m so excited I finally got to watch it. It’s far from flawless, but I’m still happy with it overall and want to approach it positively! Sure, I’ll rant when it’s ranting time, but I do love it (:

Japan Expo Malaysia Closing Ceremony (28th July 2019)

For the closing ceremony I arrived at the venue 45 minutes earlier than schedule since I wasn’t gonna risk losing my usual spot which I have now dubbed as ‘the lucky spot’. When I arrived, Kousuke Atari was doing his performance. About Kousuke, he is a self-trained musician, and performs in the difficult shima-uta (island-song) style of his hometown. He had a really gentle voice and one can feel calm when listening to him sing, and feel the nostalgia hit. Most of his songs were Japanese, but there was one song that he sang in Chinese, which surprised and impressed me. While his singing was not my cup of tea, but that did not mean I couldn’t appreciate it, and judging from his facial expressions, he was clearly feeling it. Respect to this man. For those who appreciate slow music, this man is the one for them.

After his performance, they showed us the highlights from Day 1 and Day 2, and man did I go all hype when Naachan appeared in the video sequence lmaooo. Aki and Austin then came out and called for all of the artists who had come. The first one was ZIPANG (whose concert I attended on Day 2 for a little while), then Himika Natsume, WIN=W1N (whom I will say had a really cool T-shirt by the way), 0TU1, ToumeinaKankei SampunSanjubyo, Sorgenti (whoooo!), Banzai Japan (yaayyy!), Yoyogi Jyoshi Ongakuin, KiREI (YASSSSSS!!! Okay, I will not hide the fact that I immediately screamed Hanapii’s name, and seriously what luck was bestowed upon me that they stood close to me *seriously this spot really is the lucky spot*), Kiiyama Shouten, *Chocolate Bomb!!, cosmic!! (they stood closest to me ohmygodohmygod *pant pant*). When cosmic!! came out I remember I cheered for them and I think that caught Hanapii’s attention and she spotted me and started waving heartily! She’s just so amazing! I love her so much! After cosmic!! Harupiii came in (whooo!!) and since they needed more space for other artists to stand on stage, KiREI members had to scoot closer to cosmic!! members when Riona was called in. Right when Kousuke was entering the stage, Mianyan saw me and waved at me too! OH GOD! At this point it was really hard to focus elsewhere since the girls were standing so close! Not to mention the cosmic!! boys were also having a blast and started dancing so close to me pahahaha! I tried to film elsewhere but my body seemed like it had its own brain and it was right! Cuz when I focused back on Hanapii, she looked at me again, waving and giving the heart finger as she was leaning forward. Funny yet endearing thing was, Chori-chan next to her followed along and now she saw me too! I loved the fact that when she really realized it was me, she tapped Hanapii’s arm and pointed at me. Oh for goodness’ sake, my heart couldn’t take this much happiness (I’m tearing up as I’m writing this down TvT)!

After all the artists were in, it was time to call the organizers and the important people for photo taking and some speech (I feel bad I didn’t focus on this). Soon after there was a countdown, and five seconds later, the confetti blower started blasting. But here’s the thing I didn’t realize it was there, and I don’t think KiREI members knew either cuz poor Hanapii was startled more since the blast was right in front of her (^w^”). The hype was exhilarating; all the high tension from the artists, the audience and the beat of the blaring music, it was all just so great to be there! Then Hanapii once again turned to me and waved, and I knew I had to use this chance to communicate with her. With just one hand I tried to convey that I was really grateful they came here, and that I was sad that they were about to leave (I used my finger to trail a tear on my cheek lmaoo and she clapped her hands together while nodding). I should mention it was so cute that she kept responding with the same hand gestures that I gave to her. I should also mention that one of cosmic!! members, Tomi started to dance vigorously, and I just couldn’t help but laugh considering our small distance lololol. I kinda wished that I talked to their fangirls to ask more about them ahahah. After a while the artists on stage were called down to the floor, to interact closer with the fans. Sorgenti came first and man Hiroshi’s smile was so wide it was so cute! Trust me when I said my heart was beating so hard even though I wasn’t expecting anything (more like I didn’t want to hope much in order to avoid disappointment lmao). BUT! KiREI members actually came to my side first! HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS HOLY! As I said before, I CAN’T HANDLE THIS MUCH HAPPINESS!!! Chori-chan was filming with her phone while Hanapii and Mianyan focused on interacting with the fans, and I was so joyful Hanapii took a few seconds to once again look at my camera (gosh I love her!). And Chori-chan had so much fun immortalizing the moment in her Instastory lolol!

Next, *Chocolate Bomb!! came and I’m really a sucker to good-looking people cuz I got enticed by their flawless looks (^v^”). They trotted past me and right behind them was Hiroshi (Sorgenti) and he was walking straight at my way and started passing some tickets (I honestly don’t know what it was) and I thought he was gonna give one to me too but he ended up giving it to the people around me lolol. After going around passing the tickets he came back at my area and looked straight at my camera. I thought he would put some distance between us, but holy crap! He came so close that I was like “Chikai! Chikai! Chikai desu! (Too close! Too close! You’re too close!) But hey, I got lucky to get nice shots of him, yeeeee! From up-close, you could tell that this guy is a chill guy and fun to hang around with. After Hiroshi, the Banzai Japan girls came and I’m glad they did since I really liked their cheery energy. They didn’t really reach me cuz another girl group came in, ToumeinaKankei (for short). They were SERIOUSLY close that I thought in panic, “Girls, girls, too close! Please think about your safety! You don’t know what kind of maniac could be lurking around here!” At least what I respect about these girls were the fact they went to every bit of every corner to reach out all the audience on the floor, making them feel appreciated to be there and for that I was really touched. The girls from Banzai Japan did the same, but with an extra level, in which one of the members crouched in front of two little girls next to me, so there was barely a distance between us and again, I was like “Guuurl, please be careful!” while flutteringly took pictures lolol. Soon after, the cosmic!! members went back on stage and noticed me and started posing for me, SO ADORABLE AND COOL! I need to mention that I STILL HATE MYSELF FOR GETTING BAD QUALITY PICTURES OF THEM (I’ll learn how to use DSLR cameras better after this)!

Okay, by now the artists were slowly climbing back on stage one by one and made their way to the backstage stealthily and I thought that was enough pictures and videos for the night. I couldn’t really see KiREI members since they were being blocked by other artists but I was content with that and I hoped they could get some rest real quick, and wished for their flight to be safe (I didn’t know when their flight was, and I assumed it would be on the next day lolol). So, while at that I was enjoying myself with cosmic!!’s funny antiques and random dances. Just when I thought nothing was gonna surprise me anymore, and I seriously did not expect this because I’m just a regular visitor who happened to really like Hanapii, she totally surprised me by peeking in between Harupiii and Riona, AND THEN STARTED WAVING AND GIVING ME THE FINGER HEART SIGN!!! I swear I’m not making this up, you can actually find this scene in a video on YouTube (I’ll share the gif here). And I don’t care how much I’ve said it, I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! Right then and there I just, I just cried, like there was no way I couldn’t use my towel right then and there. But before letting the waterfall happen, I responded back to her as much as I could until it was time for them to go. I had to leave the crowd and just took a bit of time to take a breather. I then ran to the backstage to see there was already many people gathering and all the artists had a group photo. Knowing that there was no way I could squeeze my way into the crowd I left the venue. Honestly, I don’t know how to end this report, cuz that’s how it ended. I only remember that I walked to the exit with tears and tried to keep it low.

I will say that, my experiences with KiREI were so much more fun and exciting than my experience with AKB48. I know, to be fair, I spent more time with KiREI and even had direct conversations with them for 3 days straights, in comparison to AKB’s limited one-day visit. If I had to put the satisfaction in numbers, I’d say my experience with AKB48 was 70-80%, while with KiREI it was around 150%, mainly because of the eye contacts with the members during performances and the way they interacted with me during the meet-and-greet sessions. Chori-chan and Mianyan were very very sweet and charming and I wish I interacted with them more. But that’s just how I roll I guess, the first person who charms me will get me first lmaooooo. I will never forget that first and only wink that Hanapii gave to me which had indefinitely fished me towards her and forever turned me into her fan. So, as a KiREI fan, I’m here to spread their name as much as I can, considering they’re not a mainstream idol group, and they deserve more recognition. I know it’s not easy to follow an underground idol group, but it’s not impossible. Especially when they’re going to perform in Mini Tokyo Idol Festival in Bangkok on October. So please follow their Twitter accounts and discover the other 11 members who are attractive and charming in their own ways. Follow them on Twitter, Instagram, watch their Showroom, subscribe to their mail services, go to their live performances, buy their merchandise, but most importantly, show them your support and appreciation and spread their motto “I want to make everything beautiful”.

1. My first impression of them

He is a ᵗᶦⁿʸ baby… boy i was not wrong lmaoo but i had a hard time figuring out what was the whole hype abt him like, everyone seems to adore him n i couldn’t find That in him¿¿¿ but then i started to see the way he interacted w the members so i was like i see u, superb, you funky lil boy 👀

i think even the members have said it before, that they admired his strong mind, it makes me think that they love to annoy him the most, but if you notice his reaction to it, it’s like he has this “n what abt it” aura. i loved it when Young K was making fun of him while he was cooking the seaweed soup n he was just like, nope gotta cook, gotta concentrate, i’ve got no time for you mister and Young K loves that, also his laugh is life ✨

1. horror. Ok here's the thing. It's less vibe-y, but it's clear as day, it really drives home the mundanity of the horror. Like it could happen to anyone is the thing, and since the thing is bright, lit normally, it drives it home. Seriously I think the horror(when done well) works better.

2. Dean and melanie. Listen. He understood her bright-eyed questions and considered them better not because she was hot(let me have this) but because they were both skeptics. Like bright eyes without the bright eyes, yk?

3. concept. Listen the concept of a cursed locket, but then it's the sister ghost and then the other sister was really fun! like it was an actual mystery, and lily dale itself(being a town of frauds, Dean feeling like fraud, Sam having to be the one that confronts the real psychic) was excellent, I liked that concept.

they were annoying as shit to deal with tho.

4. reading people! I just like that the whole idea was based on reading people(something neither of those fuckers can do) and how they, with the lies and repression, were uncomfy with it. I thought that was neat.

5. the cultural...appropriation? Like it kinda reads as "I wasn't as Flashy or Palatable so I starve and everyone else gets to be fine and profit off of what's fake versions of mine. Like..you can make the reading. The way it was done makes me uncomfy, but also that's a kind of real reading.

6. Sam(and Amy?). IT felt like Sam forgot about the fact that Amy was his friend and was more angry that Dean lied to him. But his lil Huff was in character and made sense for Anger Issues Winchester.

7. Dean's spiral(CAS). Dean's guilt spiral and trust spiral literally after Cas? Like the man is fucked, Ellen from beyond the grave is trying to tell him to shut up, and it's basically...entirely hinging on Cas and his feeling of doubt and insecurity there.

ok read on!!

i went to the g1 special with khiry (who used to be khiryisbestintheworld on here but she’s either gone or barely on here anymore) and to the showcase on friday alone. we’ll start there

i got to meet the young bucks, naito, and shibata in that order. i gotta just...look, i am so happy about how organized that whole thing was because in all the lines i was in, everyone had time to speak to the wrestlers for a bit and then take their photo and get their autographed 8x10 and feel satisfied. all the signings i’ve been to in the past i felt rushed and unsatisfied, so i went into this one thinking i had to spit everything out and hurry but NOPE. also the venue they chose was questionable as fuck on paper (yes let’s all go to the isolated treasure island off the side of the bridge) but once you got there and saw how they set it up (four buildings, three were used for the meet & greets where at least two wrestlers/entities were there and separated by a backdrop) it made a bit more sense. still would’ve preferred they picked somewhere in the city but it’s fine.

i met the young bucks for khiry because she wasn’t able to be there. but everyone who’s said they’re hella nice dudes - y’all were absolutely spot-on. i wasn’t expecting them to be dicks but sometimes you can catch wrestlers on their bad days - with the bucks it didn’t feel like that at all. they knew their line was long and gonna remain long but they weren’t even fazed. nick extended his hand first and said “nice to meet you”, followed by matt, and i mentioned why i was there but they were talking at the same time so all i heard was “that’s so nice of you to do this for her thanks for coming” lol. no problem. got a pic with them but both shots were mad blurry so that’s the karma i get for not caring enough i suppose. fuck it; i can meet them again some other time.

left that line and got into naito’s line and let me tell you: when i saw that actually-large-in-person man in his white suit from wrestle kingdom (without the cape) that i won’t shut up about i almost lost all concept of how to breathe ;_; held it together though and when i was closer to meeting him, the guy in charge of taking people’s vouchers saw me trying to chill out and was like “it’s ok!! don’t be nervous!!” OK EASY FOR YOU TO SAY, GUY; YOU PROB HANG OUT WITH NAITO FOR ALL I KNOW. I’VE ONLY LOVED THE DUDE FOR FOUR YEARS AND NEVER THOUGHT I’D MEET HIM IN MY HOMETOWN IN THAT SUIT™. ...anyway so the time comes: he extends his hand, i shake it and - i really wanted to get a sign together translated to japanese that said how much of a fan of his i am but i was worrying so much about it that i just let it go and decided to wing it. so all i said while giggling was “you’re my favorite wrestler ;_;”. naito was like “oh thank you so much” and semi-bowed and i was too busy like jesus christ tetsuya god damn naito is right here and i just told him he’s my fave to remember to take the pic. my camera is officially old and trash and took ages to take pics so we got three and he was really patient about it :’) then he graciously gave me his autograph, we shook hands again, he said thank you again, and i was like “thaNK YOU” and yeah. NAITO!!

i calmed the fuck down and went around the building because that’s where tanahashi, kushida, and shibata were signing together. i guess everyone got their shit already because there was no line outside or inside for any of them when i got there which was cool with me; i needed to chill out before almost collapsing meeting my ultimate guy. i stood in shibata’s area while he was on the other side taking some professional pics with tanahashi and someone else in the middle (not kidani). after they were done shibs came hustling over and was like “sorry sorry!!” for the wait and i was like “noooo it’s ok!” because why the fuck would i be impatient staring at shibata and tanahashi live in person just a few feet away??? i shook shibata’s hand and told him as well “you’re my favorite wrestler” because i’m losing brain cells at this point but i also managed to fit in a “i hope you come back! i’m rooting for you!” he was thinking of more responses in english but all he got out was “oh! [holds up fists] thank you! i will be back!” which was fucking fine with me!! my camera was trippin’ again but i got two pics of us doing the arm crossing pose so GOOD ENOUGH. after the first photo the guy taking the pic was confused if he even got the shot so i went over to check before he was like “we’ll just take another”. then after that shibata was like “check it again!” lmaoo. he asked if it was good and i offered to show it to him while saying “yes” but he just took my affirmation and trusted me. that feel if i lied though... anyway he gave me my autograph and shook my hand again and i kept saying thank you (i think i said it like two or three times) before i left but yeah. SHIBATA IS A CUTIE CONFIRMED.

and that’s that on that! the next day was the g1 special, so if you saw it, you saw everything i saw and i don’t really need to explain a lot. here are some highlights though:

- everyone in my section was great; nobody was acting like a moron, no one was complaining, everything was fine - we (me and khiry) were right by the entrance/production crew so i could see harold meij watching the show and the referees and young lions running to and fro the back - new japan themes are 10x more bumpin’ live than when you listen to them on video or even on your own devices. highly recommend going to the show for the music as well as everything else lol - everyone in the cow palace save for us and about four other people HATED jay white and i was living. i support switchblade so damn much and have since his young lion days so to see people complain back at wrestle kingdom about this character/gimmick only to give him that much heat made me so damn happy. i was sad that he lost the belt in front of my eyeballs but i was so happy for his performance i let it go like seconds later lmao. he also looks amazing in red - what the hell are those hangman page, okada, and suzuki themes?? page’s is this hip hop cowboy BOP though?? and at first i thought they mashed up okada and ospreay’s themes for whatever reason but then that remix came and i was like ok?? i’m here for it??? folks were talking about okada and suzuki’s themes after strong style evolved uk but i thought it was just for them and we’d go back to the regular themes for this show but apparently not! - i have no idea what’s going on with hiromu but we all know what spot may have caused the injury and i did not see it because i always close my eyes when i know wrestlers are gonna land somewhere on their necks and/or heads. i just can’t take watching it anymore no matter how safe or soft the landings are; shit like this happens so accidentally and so randomly (remember when bushi got injured?). i really hope he’s okay because i watched that match with bated breath and now it’s just a dark cloud over the show for me :( i love hiromu a lot so i’m nervous - i watched omega/cody mainly for the atmosphere and it did not disappoint. the best was after the match of course, because as soon as the bell rang, a bunch of people ran off (so i hope y’all were rushing to get home or catch buses/trains). then after kenny’s usual speech people ran off (again, hope y’all got home!!), and meanwhile me and khiry were taking pics of him and the bucks on the entrance way before we heard screaming and commotion and realized it was tama, loa, and king haku!! the hell!! a lot of folks clapped and chanted for tama lmao and i honestly had to clap too. tama’s gotta be one of your boys, come on fam - so then while the white-and-one-japanese part of the bullet club were doing their group hug and reconciliation, i went down to the floor section and grabbed a couple of championship streamers and uh...i didn’t realize they were that long? but i gotta go to another new japan show and if the folks allow, i want kenny to sign it since it was for his celebration

so overall i am so fucking happy about this show. i was getting too annoyed with people caring about ticket sales and this show not selling out and it was kind of bringing my mood down but once i got into the building i let it go immediately because i got to see a fantastic card and buy a shibata towel. ticket sales be damned.
