Hiya I have a thought stuck in my head and I thought I’d share it with you :)

Reader has a scar across his face that disfigures his face and the way he generally holds himself is intimidating, but inside he’s a real soft and kindhearted dude (like Aaron). One time the team is searching a place for a kid an unsub kidnapped and R finds the kiddo first, but because it’s dark and the kid is scared, he/she gets freaked out by R and like scrambles away from him in fear. This obv makes R sad that he looks so scary and unsafe to people, especially kids, and it’s something he doesn’t have too much control over. After that incident, he consciously tries to soften his expressions around kids. If he sees a kid near him, he’d subtly turn his face and body away from them so that they don’t notice the scar and not be unsettled by him. He’d paint his nails and, at first, he might feel self conscious around the team, but I’d imagine Aaron would join him and ask R to paint his nails as well. Idk just a sad yet wholesome thought.

When you approach her, she immediately scrambles back, whimpering and your stomach drops. Because it doesn't matter that you're FBI, it doesn't matter that you're trying to help her, because she's seen you and she's terrified.

"It's okay," You whisper, swallowing the sour taste in your mouth. "I'm with the FBI. Okay?"

That doesn't seem to help, she keeps away, still pressed against the wall. "I've got her," You say into the radio, "I need someone else here too," is all you say.

You put your gun away and sit down on the floor, trying to look less intimidating. "My name's (Y/N)," You say softly.

She doesn't say anything, so you stay sat down - rambling about silly little things (different types of flowers, mostly), hoping that she'll get less intimidated. But she doesn't. She only relaxes slightly when the others enter the room.

When someone else is with her, you stand up, making your way out of the room so she'd feel more comfortable. You ignore the looks from your team and just head to the SUV, figuring that it was for the best.

On the flight back, you waited until everyone was asleep before you grabbed the nail polish and began to paint your nails. Granted, a pastel pink was probably not professional whatsoever when working as an FBI agent, but that didn't matter to you right now. You didn't want kids to be scared of you.

"What are you doing?" Your head snapped up, eyes widening slightly as you turn to Hotch.

"Oh, er, painting my nails," You answered cautiously.

Hotch stares at you for a moment before he nods and stands, making his way over to you. He sits in the chair opposite. "Think you can do mine too?"

"You want to match my nail polish?" You ask cautiously.

"Unless you think I'll cramp your style," Hotch jokes with a small smile.

"Just give me a hand," You snort.

Months later.

It was your first time meeting Jack. You had been on the team for six months now and had avoided it like the plague. It's not that you didn't want to meet the youngest Hotchner, merely you were concerned that he'd be scared. You didn't voice this, of course. You just said you had something else going on everything there was a family dinner at Rossi's.

Seeing the child approach, you turn slightly, angling the left side of your face away. You make a conscious effort, letting your shoulders relax, softening your expression. You didn't want to scare him.

Jack stumbles up to you, unsteady. He's only two, but from what you can see, he's a bright kid. But you don't want to scare him. So you kept your face tilted still.

Giggling, Jack reaches up, grabbing your face with his hands. "Hi!" He giggles. "Wha's dat?" His hand clumsily traces the scar down the left side of your face.

"It's a scar," You say gently.

"An ouchie?" Jack's face immediately switches to concern.

"An old ouchie," You give a small nod.

You watch, stomach sinking when Jack let's go of your face and takes a step back before running away. You swallow and turn to Haley and Hotch, ready to apologise for scaring their kid. But then Jack's running back with a small strip in his hands.

He holds up the band aid triumphantly, it's blue with a variety of different dinosaurs scattered over them. "Got a ban'aid!" He exclaims. He works quick in putting the band aid on and kisses it. "All bedda!"

You look at the toddler, jaw dropped slightly in shock, trying your best to blink back tears. "T-thanks, buddy," You managed to reply, giving him a smile.

"Dat's otay! Jack says, running his hand over the band aid gently. "You otay now?"

"Yeah buddy, I'm okay now,"

“Ah, Jiminie will laugh at that,” Jungkook boasts as he put away his phone. “I guess I have to start recording video messages for all my hyungs now.”

“That’s nice of you,” you utter, sat across from him at the desk, head buried in the book you were reading.

“Baby…” It’s Jungkook’s voice only louder and the air around you had shifted, you realize. Looking up from your book, you found Jungkook standing right behind you.

You had been so immersed in your book you never took in Jungkook’s presence that night - and judging by the way he called you and started rubbing your shoulders, he seemed to be getting needy... But as you look up at him, you realize you also never took in how he looked tonight, the weight of it all hitting you all at once. Towering over you, Jungkook’s long hair - which you had always adored - was ruffled as though he played with it, sleeves rolled up to reveal the tattoos on his arm while his chest peeked through a couple of undone buttons, and the thing that got you the most…. he was wearing his glasses…

It shocked you when you found out earlier on in your relationship that Jungkook had poor vision too, since he seemed so perfect. But it also helped you feel more at ease for some weird, unknown reason - like you were glad bad eyesight was yet another thing he understood you on, added to the endless list of shared problems, mindsets, beliefs, and interests that always made your relationship feel safe. Yet, unlike you, he always preferred contacts and only wore glasses rarely around the house. The sight of it - and him - took you by surprise.

“Hey,” you say, taking in the sight of him, your shoulders hunched together.

“Hey,” he laughs at your sudden reaction, as if you hadn’t been in the same room for over an hour after he came home from working late at the studio. “Good book, huh?”

“Glasses,” you point out, tilting your head and ignoring his question. “I like it. You should wear them more often.”

“Thanks, but….eh,” he shrugs. “You know I prefer contacts, but I think I need to give my eyes a break from them...”

“Still, you look…really…good. At least wear them more often around the house, for me?”, you stare up at him through your lashes and flash him a smile, rubbing his arm, unaware of the entire effect that’d have on him.

Jungkook rolls his eyes and pokes the inside of his cheek with his tongue. “Sure, baby,” he says, kissing the top of your head. “But this is a two-way deal, you have to try contacts for me too.”

All you can do is sigh. While Jungkook preferred contacts, you preferred glasses - and for many reasons, as you have made clear to him all the other times he asked you to take them off. Firstly, you were clumsy and the idea of poking at your eyeball regularly felt like a disaster waiting to happen, not to mention it freaked you out, especially the horror stories of people forgetting to take out their contacts. Secondly, someone mentioned once that there were different types and it just seemed like a hassle. And, the biggest reason: glasses helped hide your face. You just never liked the way your face looked. Plus, it didn’t help that your ex once shrieked when you took off your glasses in front of him and told you to keep them on… 

Jungkook’s entirely different. He knew you could be insecure, but instead of feeding your insecurities he never passed an opportunity to tell you that you were beautiful and hype you up, whether you were wearing your glasses or not.... the not being while you got ready every day or during sex and really intense make-out sessions when they just kept getting away.

“Jungkook, you know I -“

“I know, but baby, you’re so beautiful,” he resigns. “I wish you knew that. If only you could see yourself the way I see you. Do you at least see the face I make when you take them off while we kiss?!”

“.....I thought it was just because we're in the heat of the moment.”

“Baby…”, he shakes his head, taking yours in his hands. “It’s like that scene in Business Proposal - it’s funny that I get why girls love that scene more than you do. It’s sexy. YOU are sexy.”

You raise your eyebrows at him, looking down in denial and at your outfit, wondering if you wore anything different that drove Jungkook crazy, but it was just one of his t-shirts and your short shorts that he liked.... but it was nothing special.

“Look at me,” he says, a commanding tone in his voice that you couldn’t ignore. “Take off your glasses.”

“If I take off my glasses I can’t look at you, Jungkook,” you say with a sarcastic tone, but Jungkook doesn’t take any of it, bending down until he was a breath away from your face.

“You can now.”

Your hand reaches up to the frames that sat on your face, and the second you take them off Jungkook’s lips meets yours in a kiss.

“Fuck…,” he sighs into your mouth before meeting it again. His arms wrap around you in an embrace, pulling you up and between his legs as he leaned on the desk. His hands squeeze your butt before toying with the hem of the t-shirt you were wearing, taking it off of you the moment you lifted your hands from his shoulders in permission. You wrap your arms over Jungkook’s toned shoulders and around his neck as he felt your back and kissed you - on your lips, your neck, and all over your face. Just as you had gotten lost in his kisses, anticipating where he’d kiss next, his large arms swerve you around until you leaned against the desk and faced him standing between your legs instead. 

A smirk appeared on his face at the sound you let out, and in a flash, Jungkook absentmindedly takes off his glasses and pulls you in for a deeper kiss… Yet you’re too stunned to kiss him back well, grab onto him, or even feel him up.

“…Fuck, okay,” you whisper against his lips. “I get it now - that was… so fucking hot, Jungkook.” 

“Wh- oh.... I didn’t even realize I did that," you feel him smile against your lips, unknowing if he was sincere or if he planned the entire kiss to get you to understand him.

The image of Jungkook replayed itself in your mind, and with the feeling of his lips and bunny teeth brushing against your lips…. you were about to go insane. You wrap your arms around his neck once again, your hands running through his long hair as you pull him into a kiss and he toys with the hooks of your bra.

When they snap open, he wastes no time reaching for the bra between your bodies and chucking it across the room, unbuttoning and stripping off his own shirt before bending down to kiss your chest. You stare down at him, and when his gaze meets yours, you feel your entire body come alive. 

He looked unbelievable and already showed you so much love… You wanted - no, needed, to do the same to him. Reach for Jungkook’s length, you stroke it through his boxers, and, reaching inside them, he grunts as you feel him hard in your hands, only for him to shove your wrist away at the elastic of his underwear.

“Jungkook… let me feel you,” you moan against his face, his forehead brushing against yours as he shakes his head. 

“Lean back,” he commands, and all you can do is obey, already moving backward to lay on the desk the moment his hands find your shoulders. Jungkook hooked his fingers to your underwear, and after raising your hips for him to swiftly pull them off of you, you lift your legs to wrap them around his body…. but he separates them.

“No….,” he says “You won’t be able to see me, but I’ll make sure you feel me.”

His face disappears from view, leaving you nothing but a blurry sight of the ceiling as Jungkook wraps his arms around your thighs. “Fuck, baby.” 

The feeling of Jungkook’s tongue clouds every other sensation a human being is capable of, you were unable to register or control even the incredibly loud noises you were both making. He got hungrier as you ruffled his long hair, and when you begin feeling Jungkook’s nose rubbing against your heat, you were unable to hold yourself any longer, letting go of him and yourself. Jungkook continued to lick and taste you, before standing up and leaning over you, removing your hand from your face.

“I missed this face. Did you feel me?,” he whispers against your neck. 

“Fuck, did I feel you….,” you reply, catching your breath as Jungkook continued kissing all over your chest as it rose and fell. “But I missed your face too….”

Jungkook snapped at those six words and met you in a kiss, his face remaining millimeters away from yours, even long after he says, “I’m right here, baby,” while you catch your breath.

You try to avert his gaze as he stares into your eyes, but he never lets you, a hand caressing your cheek while the other roamed your body, grazing and scratching at your arms, shoulders, and torso, pinning your arms against the mattress when you tried hiding your face.

“Look at me, baby…..”

When his fingertips took over and his touches got lighter, you were reminded that Jungkook hadn’t had enough… and you didn’t either.

“Ready?”, he hummed against your lips before you nod.

Jungkook kissed you on the cheek before he got up and on top of you, his gaze never breaking even as he aligned himself with your entrance. You only caught glimpses of Jungkook’s focused, aroused face, his necklace dangling over you and blocking your sight, at which your hand leaves his shoulder and grabs his neck, holding both Jungkook and his necklace in place.

“Ffuck,” he moans.

The sight of him in a flustered rush did the same to you, and Jungkook closed his eyes as he picked up his pace, bending down to kiss your body. Topped with Jungkook’s murmurs of “Beautiful”, “My beautiful girl”, “Baby”, and countless other curses and moans, the sensations were overwhelming, and all you could do was cover your face with your arm as you neared your high, but a firm grip attaches itself to your wrist and pins your arm above your head.

“No, baby,” Jungkook heaves. “I - want to see you.”

Almost in obedience, your body responds with just what he wants as he watches you come undone, doing the same at the sight of you. Jungkook catches his breath and returns to normal before you do, kissing your chest as it slowed its movements while you caught up to him.

“My beautiful, baby,” he murmurs against your tummy, moaning when you run your fingers through his hair before he stood up and pulled you up. He brushes away any hair from your face and tucks loose strands behind your ear, his fingers finally resting on your temple and your chin. “This is my favorite face.”

Jungkook nears, tilting your head downwards and kissing your forehead, just above your eyebrows, before kissing your eyelids, nose, and lips one final time.

“I'll get you cleaned up, baby, then let’s move to the bed and stare at each other all night,” he smiles, holding your face in his hands.

You can’t help but giggle. “Sounds like a plan. Can you do it all night though? We both know you pass out so easily.”

“Yeah…. I always sleep after you, you know?”

“What?!”

“I don’t sleep that early! I watch you sleep a little,” he strokes your shoulder. “Then, when I feel you asleep and relaxed against me… when I see your face, so bare and peaceful, so close to me…. It relaxes me and I go to sleep.”

“You watch me like that scene in Twilight?!”

“I do,” he laughs. “Can you blame me? I’m fucking in love with you, beautiful.”

Hello there! Haven’t seen you around for quite a bit now, is everything okay?🥺

I wanted to request a reading on Chan and if he’s really the way he shows himself to us, if he’s all sweet and caring or could maybe hide some mean parts that would come out in a relationship (like him being an asshole).

I’ve had pretty bad experiences with libra men, they all act sweet and caring the firsts days, basically love bombing you, and then they just show their true asshole nature… soo idk im kinda scared he’s like that too hahah

hi baby!!! everything is okay, tysm for asking 🥺 i'm on clinical rotations right now, which is basically where you train to be a different type of doctor each month. it's been a lottttt this past month, so i haven't been able to write or be on here as much :( but hopefully i'll be able to do more in this next month!

first, i'm so sorry you've had a bad experience with libra men! i just got out of a long-term relationship with a libra man, so i understand what you mean. one thing i WILL say is that as far as acting like an asshole, i don't know that that's a libra quality more than it is something else in their chart. a lot of my best friends are also libra suns and i think the love-bombing aspect of that can be very true for all of them. livras just need that reassurance that you like them and they know how to make you feel special. as far as being an asshole though, i think that we'd have to search deeper into the chart for that.

one thing i want to say about libra suns right off the bat is that obviously they like to appease everybody. that's why a lot of people find them likeable. libra suns understand what you want them to act like, and that's exactly what they do. so what does this mean for chan? i think he 100% knows that we like it when he is our "sweet, shy, humble father of 7 kids", but he also knows we like it when he's got major daddy vibes. and he knows WHEN to bring them out... now that side of him is what he shows to US, but it could be vastly different from what he shows others. you've probably seen that when he's around other guys, he takes on a more masculine, playful character than what he normally shows us. i think behind closed doors when he's just with his members or friends, he's def more of a "guy's guy" than what he lets on. i think he probably cuts up a lot, makes crude jokes, says stupid boy shit, etc. but it's not that he's trying to be deceitful in not showing us this... i just think that he knows when it comes to stays, he needs to behave a certain way. i think when it comes to GIRLS in general, he knows he needs to behave a certain way. i don't think any of it is insincere at all, and i think he def still has those traits that come out when he's hanging with the boys, BUT in everday life, i see him as more "dude-ish" than he probably shows us. any man that's out here wear shorts in the fucking cold is a dude's dude, let's be honest.

so, whether he's an asshole or not i think depends on 1) his other chart placements, and 2) what your own chart placements are. for example, i know some people got upset ab what he posted on bubble a week or so ago. to ME, i thought it was just all jokes and him messing around (like dudes do) and thought it was annoying but funny tbh. like i don't have time for your shit today christopher 🙄 BUT obviously some people did not like it and really took it to heart.... so in that regard, it's like "okay, is he an asshole, or do i just perceive him as an asshole bc we don't have the same sense of 'joking around'?" i think that's a big factor in it. but let's look at his chart and see OBJECTIVELY do i think he'd switch it up and be an asshole after a certain amount of time.

as far as communication goes, NO, i do not think he would intentionally be an asshole on a regular basis. his personality AND his communication style both sit in libra in the 5th house. i think this shows he's really funny and creative, flirty, and likes to mess around and get people riled up. random note, but 5th house also is heavily involved in children, so i think he'd talk ab having kids or raising a family together a LOT. but on the regular, i think he'd actually be a good communicator in relationships and try his best to make them fun.

something i find interesting ab channie is that both his moon in libra and his venus in scorp lie in the 6th house. 6th house governs work, service, and health. i feel like this makes TOTAL sense for him. his moon rooted in libra here means that in relationships, he probably has to feel very giving and feel that he needs his partner to integrate into his work life in order to feel balanced. i have sooooo much more to say on this, which i will do later. his venus in scorp here also tells me that he pours a lot of love and beauty into what he does in work, and that he is vvvvv passionate ab it. i think with this combo, it could actually come up that he is "married to work" in a way. he could REALLY struggle finding balance between relationships and work. and let me emphasize why:

his mars is in sagittarius on the 6th/7th house cusp. stick with me here. mars represents action and aggression, while sagittarius is a fiery and independent sign. i talked previously about how 6th house represents work and service, but 7th house is the ruler of partnerships and marriage. so put all of this together and what we are seeing is someone who REALLY struggles in balancing work and relationships, and this is happening in the placements that rule aggression and independence. can def be a scary combo tbh.

so how do i see this playing out? overall, i think chan is lovely in relationships. basically will be whoever you need him to be and actually is very loving. he has that 6th house placement, so although work is extremely important to him, so is service, which INCLUDES taking care of you. HOWEVER, he has a very difficult time balancing these two things. i think when things are going poorly at work, he will bring that home and into your relationship. when things aren't great in your relationship, he will really struggle at work.... so as much as i hate to say it, i do think if he's having a difficult time at work, he could accidentally take it out on you. even if he doesn't mean to... either 2 things would initially happen: (1) he gets really upset and bottles it all in and/or gets flighty all of a sudden and acts like he doesn't know what he wants, (2) he explodes on you for no reason... like when he feels like his life is off-balance, he can genuinely get that worked up. don't get me wrong, he would regret it later and do everything to try and make up for it, but i see him having that problem for the time being.

so i think it's up to everyone individually how they're able to handle those traits in a relationship. i see people say something like "when chan gets stressed at work, all he wants to do is come home and lay in your arms", but i genuinely disagree. he may END UP wanting that by the end of the night, but when he's upset, he needs to be alone for a bit. so i think that's up to you if you think that makes him an asshole or not? i think it depends on compatibility and how you also react 100%

You and Eddie have been dating since this past may, it’s now august and you’re getting ready to go into both of your senior year. Over the summer Eddie has been working at a local mechanic shop to get some extra money to help out his uncle and partly to spoil his girl. You’ve been telling Eddie how much you’d like to get some new clothes for senior year and your family is poor too so it wouldn’t really be possible for you to get what you want, especially since you were plus size so finding affordable clothes were hard enough. Eddie hadn’t told you but he’s been saving up to take you shopping himself. You love getting all dolled up and looking cute and he loves watching you so of course he took it upon himself to help you.

“Ughhh I’m so tired of switching up the same five outfits Eds” you say as you’re looking in the mirror getting ready for your day with Eddie. It was Saturday which is your and Eddie’s day. “I know sweetheart but you do look great. I love how those Jean shorts make your ass look” he says with that smirk of his as he comes up and hugs you from behind and kisses the top of your head and admires you in the mirror. “We’ll you’re in an awful giddy mood today Munson”

“What gave me away?”

“Probably the fact that you’re willingly awake before noon and I know you’re planning something because last night after hellfire Dustin told me that you have a surprise for me today”

“That little shit, I told him to keep his mouth shut, but yes I do have a surprise for my girl today. We’re going shopping so you have the best style of any girl at Hawkins” Eddie says very proud of himself

“But Eddie i don’t have any money right now”

“Maybe not, but I do. I’ve been saving up just for you” he presses a kiss to your lips

You felt your heart drop to your stomach as you heard those words. You appreciated him doing that but you’ve never been shopping with Eddie and it’s embarrassing enough going with your mom when things don’t fit right, but now you’ve got to do that with your boyfriend. “Eddie are you sure?” You ask just to make sure you heard him right. “Sure am” he says. Well I guess we’re doing this , you thought to yourself. You and Eddie get in his van and drive to StarCourt mall. The first store when you walk in is (your favorite store) and Eddie knew it was your favorite so he drags you in. The associate looks you both up and down and she scoffs at you “The young men’s section is over there” she says with a smile to Eddie. “Actually we’re here for her today” Eddie says. You would’ve thought you asked the woman to do a backflip. “Oh I’m sorry, the young women’s is this way” she says with a fake smile “not that anything will fit” she mumbled to herself thinking that no one heard her but Eddie did, “what was that?” He said letting her know she got caught. “Oh nothing sir”

“Yea that’s what I thought” Eddie said with a protective tone in his voice. You all got to the clothing section. There were all kinds of cute clothes. Eddie was also helping you find some things to try on, you quickly realized their biggest size was an xxl which you could fit if it was the right material but could still be tight at times depending on the brand and make. “What about one of these” Eddie held up two different color mini skirts that he knew you would love. “Those are great Eddie”

“What size do you need?”

“Ummmanxxl” you mumble not wanting anyone to hear you

“What?”

You give him a look letting him know you don’t want to yell it. “An xxl I guess”

“Ok let’s go try these on, yea?”

You didn’t really see anything else that you thought would fit but you didn’t say anything to Eddie because you knew he was just trying to give you an amazing day. You go into the fitting room by yourself and try on the skirts while Eddie was waiting patiently but they weren’t fitting no matter what you tried. You broke down not wanting Eddie to know but of course Eddie heard you crying. He knocked on the door so you let him in.

“Hey what’s wrong sweetheart?”

“They don’t fit, nothing here fits. I’m really sorry Eddie I know you want to buy my cute clothes and stuff but I’m too fat and ugly anyway”

He looked at you with almost a hurt look in his eyes. “First of all, I never want to hear you talk about the love of my life that way. Secondly I don’t care if you’re fat or not, you’re beautiful. In fact I love your curves. Third of all fuck this place for having shitty sizing and not having the right size for you, that is ridiculous on their end… not yours princess. If you don’t feel like shopping today, we can go home and watch a movie or something”

“I just know you were really looking forward to this”

“ I was but we’ll go somewhere else on another day that actually has good clothing and not this shithole”

You all got back to Eddie’s trailer and you put in your favorite movie while Eddie made Mac and cheese and once he finished it, he came to the couch and cuddled you and offered you some.

“I don’t think I need any but thanks Eds”

“But you love my Mac and cheese, I made it just for you” he gave you his puppy dog eyes but he could tell by examining yours that something was wrong. “Does this have something to do with that stupid store”

What would you say is the pros and cons of EMS work?? Or like, things you would say to someone looking to be an EMT?

I have a full time job I don't plan on leaving, but tbh learning about what you do and reading your stories has kind of put it on my heart and I was curious if volunteer EMT jobs are a thing. Like, getting all the training done and then volunteering when I can?

Hello Anon! :D That’s so exciting to hear!! I’m glad you’d rather just do it volunteer, as career EMS pays very little (my nursing job is what keeps a roof over my head, not my EMS one lol), but nearly every agency in my area has volunteers so I imagine it’s the same for your area!

So general pros and cons for EMS:

Pros

Tight knit work crew - These people see some bad things together, and trauma bonding is a thing, so they tend to be pretty close and have a lot of fun together. A note of care, we all have dark senses of humor. It’s a natural coping mechanism for people, and it can make life really funny too. But generally, working with EMS providers is quite fun! There will probably also be things like banquets, cookouts, and other fun bonding activities!

Boo boo bus - Driving is one of my least favorite parts of the job, but it is very fun to drive the truck around with lights and sirens and have the power to stop traffic and go through a red light lol. Super dangerous, but very fun

Knowledge - You learn so much in EMS! Medicine and our understanding of diseases and injuries is constantly changing, so you’ll always learn something new if you keep up with your training. Speaking of which, your agency will provide training opportunities to help you grow!

Patient care - You’ll find that the majority of your calls aren’t actually emergencies, but when you can actually take care of someone who needs you, you’re gonna ride that adrenaline high for ages. I still remember calls from years ago where I actually made a difference in someone’s life, and it’s a thrilling feeling.

Shift style - We work in 12-24 hour blocks, which means you knock out your work week in 2-3 days. As a volunteer your hour requirement would be much less than 36, but you could knock out a 24 hour monthly requirement in a single day if you wanted. Also, depending on a few factors (day vs night shift, busyness of your run area), you could literally just be spending your time chilling between calls. Sometimes I bring video games to work and play the switch because we have so much downtime. At night we get paid to just sleep if nobody’s calling 911.

Cons

Management/staffing - Like most jobs, somehow we’re all cursed with idiots in charge. Obviously this is variable, but a general trend in EMS is to overwork its people and toss them out to sea before they sometimes feel ready. And also like most jobs, we’re perpetually short staffed and everyone gets stretched thin to make up for it. Luckily for you, this shouldn’t be as big a problem because volunteers are usually treated very well!

Patient care - It’s a pro but it’s a con too. 85% of your calls are going to be for things that people should have never called 911 for. Your big pretty Boo Boo Bus is mostly going to be an Uber. And it will get frustrating, and you will have frequent flyers, and some people are not kind at all. They’ll call for your help and then get pissed off at you for trying to help. Anyone who’s worked customer service can relate, I’m sure. You get trained to handle life and death emergencies and then instead you’re picking someone up for a cough they’ve had for three days and you’re wondering when you became their mother/father and have to take the baby to the doctor when they haven’t tried anything to take care of themselves at home or see a less urgent health facility. It will burn you out if you’re not careful.

TMI - Speaking of patient care, get ready to see people at their absolute lowest. Hoarder houses, maggots, abusive households, all that jazz. Another reason for trauma bonding with your coworkers! 👍🏻 (This won’t be the majority of your calls, but you’ll see them)

Physical strain - If you don’t take care of your body, this job will hurt you. I’ve thrown my back three times working EMS; there were times where I was hobbling around like an 83-year-old and I was 22. You’ll be lifting patients of every weight, you’re gonna be contorted in weird positions trying to splint someone, CPR is a cardio exercise in itself (lol), you will probably be sore after some calls like you just went to the gym. Also, we don’t take meal breaks - you eat when you can, and you will become a speed eater very quickly in this line of work.

Mental strain - You’re gonna learn a lot about yourself and others in this work. How do you cope with stress? You will watch people die, you will see suicides and shootings and stabbings, you will watch family hurt each other and grieve over lost loved ones. You will be on edge for the majority of your shift as you wait for the tones to drop, you will be stressed trying to find an address or navigate the road and make sure nobody gets into a wreck with you. Military and first responders are so alike because the stress level and distribution is quite similar - downtime with boredom gets interspersed with spikes of huge adrenaline rushes. Have good coping skills, have a strong support system, take care of yourself. 95% of the people I know on duty are in therapy to stay sane.

Overall, I adore EMS. If I could survive off EMS pay I’d work it full time and do nursing as a side gig for funsies lol. The majority of the work is fairly mundane, but when you get to make a difference boy do you get to make a difference. And you’ll have so many funny stories to share. And the people are awesome.

Yesterday I went downloading for like 7 hours... I went through the poppet hairs tumblr all the way as far back until before v2 was made and opened tabs of every creator there was and downloaded 1000+ alpha hairs in poppet v2 textures/colors. Then today after weeding through and deleting anything I didn't actually like and/or duplicates I've ended up with 658 different hairstyles. 👍

Why did I do this? Well, three primary sources are to blame. 😆

But also I've always kinda wanted to try poppet hairs 🤔 in fact I did try this exact thing a few weeks ago but my download sample didn't convince me so I kept using clay. Then platasp released her defaults which tbh I feel a little bad about giving up on already but I've been losing interest in clay for a while now I think actually. the defaults gave them a bit more life but I'm not quite so sure atm.

Back in the day when I used more realistic cc my primary hair system was pooklet/io/digi etc but back then I also downloaded anything and everything. When I first switched to maxis match I started with NHS but at the time there wasn't enough styles in it for an addict like myself and I ended up switching to simgaroop. Then I switched to using only clay hairs in eaxis colors. But I've always kinda liked poppet's colors and wanted to give them a shot. I haven't downloaded any defaults yet (although I know rudhira and loosiap will have me set) because I just wanted to focus on custom to start.

I haven't yet put them in my main game so everyone in Strangetown still has their clay hairs atm (and obviously will for the rest of what's currently in my queue) but my plan is to make a backup of the hood and label it clay and then go in and give everyone new hairs and see how I feel. In the meantime, here's my fav cc model Ben with kewai-dou levi. It's the only hair I specifically searched for by name to make certain I had because it's been my favorite alpha hairstyle for years idk what it is about it but I needed to make sure I had it if nothing else.

So yeah... I guess new cc hair aesthetic just in time for 2024? I'll still be keeping all 500+ clay hairs in a backup so I can answer any wcifs and obviously in case I've made a terrible mistake and wanna switch back 😂

Oh I have. So many thoughts. You asking abt it even made me get up off my ass and draw again. Putting everything under the cut to avoid having a mile long post.

When I first had the idea I really struggled on who was a weapon/meister but after deciding on wanting to pair ruikasa/emunene up I was like tsukasa and emu need to be the meisters bc 1) it fits with them being the founding duo of wxs 2) I really wanted nene to be a gun 3) fitting tsukasa’s goals into the SE universe worked better if he was a meister. I elected to make rui a whip first and then I realized I could fit a bloodborne reference in there and reference becoming potatoes with the cane. I’m not entirely satisfied w the first pass at designs for the universe (not super close to the SE aesthetic, I cannot draw guns, I’m not very good at character design, etc) but i kind of tried to pull inspiration from:

- tsukasa and emu’s happy Phoenix costumes (split colors on tsukasa’s coat, tsukasa’s boots, the corset/bell sleeves/little cape thingie for emu)

- for tsukasa specifically: piano (b&w colors and stupid long coat tails), his second wxs costume

- emu: bc I drew her last and it was getting late I did less searching and more winging it but I did try to combine the style of her wxs costumes (shoes, dress, striped socks) & general darker Lolita (for lack of a better word) fashion.

- nene: her gaming event card (weird energy ball device thing? Which I would imagine functions similar to dtk’s shooting soul wave lengths thru the thompsons)

- rui: his ugly ass coat (fond) he wears as his first wxs costume. Also becoming potatoes cane handle thing. Him being a trick weapon (bloodborne term, essentially a weapon that can switch between two forms) also kind of lines up w him being a tech genius.

Ok done talking abt the designs onto the in universe stuff

- not basing any au story off the soul eater plot bc it didn’t work out very well (too many pjsk characters) (going with the main story wxs plot w a soul eater spin. Kinda. Gonna have to think abt that a bit.) but if I did mafuyu > crona, miku & the kagamines > dtk and the thompsons. Would that make cfm lord death. Emu would fill a similar role to maka with mafuyu in that situation but in general (besides the surface level similarities btwn tsukasa and black star) nene is too different from soul, emu is way too different from maka, and rui is literally NOTHING like tsubaki so I can’t justify just swapping out emunene/tsukasa with soul&maka/black star&tsubaki. No equivalent to that fucking cat in this universe. & the pjsk characters get to wear clothes when they’re in the weird place weapons’s bodies go when they’re transformed.

- idk maybe the regular soul eater plot is happening/will happen/has happened but this is the Japan branch (oceania branch in canon?).

- vocaloids are professors (not the kagamines. Forever babies.) but if there needs to be a lord death equivalent making that miku would be so funny. Also the normal vocaloid personalities and not the WXS ones for conveniences sake. Uhhh first thoughts for M/W would be meister miku, weapon meiko, meister kaito, luka can go either way tbh, kagamines are both weapons but are each other’s meister.

- similar to how rui did shows on his own for a really long time I think he was his own meister for a while (like Justin Law was). He doesn’t have many souls bc dwma in this universe at least pretends to give a fuck abt student safety so they don’t want to send him out alone on anything dangerous (despite his talent) and he can’t resonate soul wave lengths with most ppl bc they don’t get him. He ended up giving up on finding a meister when he was younger bc of this & just worked really hard on his own. He experiences a similar isolation from his peers that dtk did (ppl find him intimidating/envy at his skill/etc).

- equivalent of him transferring in to kamikou (? Spelling) second year is the kamishiros spending ~10 years in America. He’s still childhood friends w nene he just moved away after they drifted apart and then came back. Mizuki probably did something similar just 2 keep the mizuki & rui connection still there.

- tsukasa’s SE universe goal is to be the best meister - he wants to protect & help people (inspired by saki. I’ll get to that) but the equivalent of tsukasa forgetting he wanted to make ppl smile & believing he just wanted fame would be tsukasa believing he wants to be the best meister for fame/power.

- saki’s chronic illness is a result of black blood due to an incident w a kishin egg monster when she was younger. I think she would be a weapon but along with the canon typical chronic illness symptoms (not erasing those) she struggles for a long time w controlling her ability to change in and out of weapon form. Tsukasa & her *could* have been a m/w pair & have compatible soul wave lengths but 1) he’s overprotective and I think he realized he would not be able to fight without being too scared of getting her hurt 2) saki’s illness means she can’t really enroll in the dwma (yet. She gets there eventually.)

- nene was in the not classes before the plot picks up bc she didn’t think she had what it took to be a weapon. In universe equivalent to her forgetting her lines would maybe be freezing when she was supposed to transform during an important test when she was younger? Not baby age like in canon (bc I know the DWMA likes child soldiers but 7ish is a bit much even for them) but old enough to be taking classes & old enough to be put into not classes as a result. Im not reading SE NOT! to understand how those classes work though so thank god she gets out of those classes

- nene *is* a really powerful weapon she just lacks the confidence and struggles to resonate with people (& unlike rui she can’t wield herself)

- on that note emu can resonate with just about anyone but she hasn’t found anyone that felt right yet, and Tsukasa needs someone who can keep up w the intensity of his soul wave length and hasn’t found anyone who can do that yet.

- ^ similar to tsukasa being a piano prodigy or whatever in canon tsukasa *is* a really good meister, he just needs a really good weapon. Bc his peers would need more training to get to that level

- I toyed with making emu dtk adjacent (daughter of death) (bc PXL -> DWMA) but that would be too complicated with her brothers/dad/grandpa so I disregarded it. Maybe I’ll come back to it. I think it would make more sense for emu to come from a long line of really talented meisters so she grew up training for the job and running around the dwma.

- emu approaches tsukasa and is like we should work together!!! We’ll do better on missions and be able to take down harder kishin & maybe witches!! & he’s like sure why not every star needs a sidekick (obnoxious laugh) even though emu could kick his ass without breaking a sweat (in line with canon). & like the angel she is emu is like (ignores his pre main story dickheadedness) wonderhoy!! (Deathhoy?) okie dokie we need to find weapon partners then!! (bodily drags him to class)

- tsukasa sees rui training on his own and is like wow he’s really talented! Fitting for a future star like me! & approaches him to ask if they can pair up. Rui is like on the condition that you can find my friend a partner in your class (wants nene out of the not classes bc he thinks she’s far beyond that skill level). Emu jumps on the idea and is introduced to nene who is placed in the higher level courses to accommodate this partnership. Idc if that can’t happen in SE canon I think the Otoris have a lot of sway and any potential issues w nene being less powerful (not the case but it’s the assumption made abt not students) can be made up by emu’s skill.

- emu is instantly very taken with nene and they resonate well. I know what u are dot jpg. Rui & tsukasa can resonate but struggle to unlock their full potential (similar to soul and maka struggling with using the witch hunter form) bc tsukasa needs to realize what his real motivations are.

- tsukasa assumes nene has a low skill level at first (similar to his issues w nenerobo. God I wish I could think of a way to fit nenerobo in this au. sorry nenerobo) but is proven wrong when emu wields her.

- equivalent to the climax of the wxs main story in this is nene freezing again during an important mission and the group losing an important target -> tsukasa gets mad and yells at her -> rui fights w tsukasa over this and tells him that he’ll never be a good meister if he cares more about fame and power than people.

- tsukasa chats w the death scythe kaito & realizes the Error Of His Ways -> emu is considering dropping out bc she feels that she fucked up all of their futures as weapons/meisters by putting this into motion but tsukasa has the heart to heart with emu and they agree to continue being a team -> emu and nene partner back up -> they approach rui who has gone back to working solo and he refuses to partner back up w tsukasa

- idk what a good equivalent to the lonely alchemist show would be. Tsukasa and rui need to resonate & work together to help emunene because they’re in peril or something? & rui through the resonance realizes that tsukasa is genuine? Some sort of hand wavey plot device is used to resolve everything.

- I think that emu & rui and nene & tsukasa are also able to resonate and they do occasionally switch it up just for funsies. Emu and rui bc they just get along very well and nene & tsukasa argue with each other but can still function as a team.

- I don’t think that rui & nene can resonate because. Put down the pitchforks please. *Because* similar to their dynamic in pjsk despite their bond and their care for each other there’s a lot of baggage that needs to be worked through. Too many things left unsaid. Etc. they could probably achieve resonance later on but there’s not really a need to given that they’re both weapons and both have meisters.

- Rui thinks it’s a great training exercise to fight tsukasa “how do you expect to get better if you don’t try fighting against a weapon without a weapon… I’m just trying to help you… (fake crying)” “I’m already good at fighting without a weapon!! This is never going to be relevant knowledge anyways!!! You just want to fight me because you think it’s fun!!!!!!” “(switching manipulation tactics) Someone who wants to be a star would want to be prepared for any situation no matter how small the chance is of it happening” “hm…that’s true… ok let’s do it!!”

- cut to them in the nurses office. This is a weekly occurrence.

- emu also thinks it’s good practice to use tsukasa as moving target practice but this is less dangerous and more just continuing tsukasa’s never ending torment (he is a willing participant in said torment mind you)

- like in canon emu pulls nene out of her shell and hypes her up constantly which is huge in getting nene to have more confidence in herself and her abilities. It’s also incredibly helpful to have a meister who will never judge her for freezing and will always meet her halfway.

- also like in canon nene is very helpful with reeling emu in. She’s a very helpful voice of reason/impulse control but one that understands that even if emu’s ideas are unconventional they still have merit (even if they need to be refined a little)

- similar to the soul eater main cast having the self preservation skills of very small stupid suicidal animals hell bent on getting themselves injured or killed (Liz excluded), emu and Tsukasa are very prone to charging in to a situation w/out thinking. Tsukasa is more reasonable but unfortunately his weapon parter is not and rui usually cajoles tsukasa into doing stupid shit. Nene is suffering.

- maybe someday I’ll design rui & nene if I ever go back and refine these designs but I’m really lazy.

- not really sure how I would go around incorporating the wxs arcs into the soul eater universe with regards to PXL selling out and stuff. Making peace with the witches maybe? Something will probably come to me eventually.

- unlike atsushi ohkubo I’m not a terminally horny freak so there’s zero weird shit in this au.

- initial thoughts on the other units: minori(w)/haruka(weapon that chooses to be a meister) + airi(m)/shizuku(w), kohane(m)/an(w) + toya(weapon who was trained as a meister before deciding to be a weapon)/akito(m), mafuyu(m)/kanade(weapon… don’t make her exercise) + mizuki(w)/ena(m), leoneed swaps pairs frequently but shiho & izuka are meisters + saki and honami are weapons. Open to debate for most of these I haven’t given them much thought.

plurality experience rambling under the cut

weve been mulling over what we'd say to someone if they asked us what our plurality is like, or how it works. so far the best we've come up with is that it's like a slider between disco elysium style (everyone is present and speaking and controlling to some extent) and singularity (one person is fronting, silence from the rest) depending on circumstances and Randomness. there is definitely always one front, and that switches more or less often throughout the day but usually many times. if we're doing fucking bad, we're more likely to be less DE mode up to a point where we snap straight to singularity, or maybe only one of us shrivels up and disappears for a while. we like to think of it as them sleeping, we say good morning to them when they come back. above doing bad we're basically always DE mode except for those days where only one of us wakes up and the rest stay in bed all day. theres no real way to tell when this will happen afaik, we keep it polite but its always sad. external loneliness is nasty but internal loneliness feels like being hollow. where did my dog girlfriend and my big brother and my dog (dog) go? Who really knows, its my turn to drive the car all day or until one of them comes back, dont think about it too hard. they dont have any memories of what happened, they didnt participate and they need to be caught up. another thing is memories, its kinda like private folders or hard drive partitions. we cant really know what the others do in singularity mode, in DE mode its more flowing but we'll still have to ask depending. its a spectrum, so it depends, its somewhat rare but i can remember their experiences as if they were my own if we're in the right headspace for it. meditation and opening a text doc to type to each other helps a lot with organizing too. we're pretty vigilant about catching up because like. this is a sort of disability, and if we're having a singlet day at work and only a sleeping headmate knows what the fuck we're supposed to be doing from yesterday we're screwed. work usually tilts us towards singularity too because it just fucking sucks so god damn bad. as for what plurality is like, feelings wise, it's fuckin nice. Penny's happy about it because it doesn't have to be so damn alone all the time and it knows who "the voices" are now. i like it because i was just "the motherly voice that keeps "me" from hurting "myself" too badly" and now i get to actually be an individual. hierarchy is... he's pretty ambivalent, would like not to be a "headmate", would rather be a separate individual. he's fine though, he likes us and gets along well with lunes. lunes is a dog, there's nothing more to it than that. we've had hints of a fifth fronting, they seem completely brand new. like no prior consciousness, almost a sort of amnesiac. they front very occasionally and they always get overwhelmed and go away fast. i try to help, they don't seem to understand why a voice is introducing herself to them in their head. maybe they'll figure it out someday idk. for now they're just the stranger that stares blankly around our room trying to figure out what's going on before disappearing for another few weeks. hierarchy's been a great new addition/realization because he's like... he's like a big emo bear brother who always knows the right answer and can calm penny and i down when shit heads south. and he's better at taking care of lunes than either me or penny. you'd think the dog connection with penny would help but they mostly just rile each other up lol.. it's cute. we've been made significantly happier with our discovery of plurality and it's made life easier in a lot of ways. we used to be so destructive to each other because we didnt even know we were different, didn't know we weren't "just, like, textbook insane". life got harder as we figured this stuff out, but that was just the transmisogyny dam breaking in our local support system. overall its been very positive ♥️

Alright. So, I agree in your assessment that Karolina is more of a switch - my girl contains multitudes. She primarily presents as a top, and tops a lot and tops well (just ask Shiv) but she's def a switch. I wouldn't call Lisa cold, but guarded. And I think she's right to be, like you said. As they relate to Shiv, I think they just got to know Shiv in different capacities, at very different points in her journey, and in different forms of insufferable (affectionate). If you think Karolina has her work cut out for her, ooooh Lisa has a few things to say about that.

I think Lisa got a lot of Shiv's messy era, maybe even met her at the height of it, and had to put up with a lot. Girl's got piles of trauma, and she's also this entitled little shit. You know? She's still a lot of those things but she's...matured. A little bit. But we're not talking about Shiv.

Both Lisa and Karolina are ambitious and career driven, and they're callous to a degree. Karolina covers up crimes, while Lisa, you know, represents victims of sexual abuse. So. You know. Different people lol

In terms of Top Style (and again this is just as they relate to Shiv because I do think the circumstances are dependent on their partners), I do think Lisa is more dominant and no-nonsense and definitely needs to assert that she is in charge (hot). Karolina is the same in a sense but with a more playfulness that comes from, again, just knowing Shiv in a different way.

@fat-fem-and-asian @harrietdyker and I discussed the scenario wherein Shiv, Karolina and Lisa have a threesome and Shiv thinks it's a great idea because she's obviously going to be ravished to hell, but in reality it's just Lisa and Karolina trying to out-top each other. Just a failed attempt all around and I think that pretty much says it all lol

-i really don’t like watching the covid seasons of tv shows. it just makes me depressed

honestly I feel like cahiers are decent with posca because theyre not really absorbent and posca marks tend to sit on the page as opposed to soaking through anyways. umm i wouldnt like... use it to do a whole posca piece or anything but i use poscas just for pops of color in my sketchbook pretty often and it holds up ok. sometimes u can see the shadow of the color through the paper bc its thin but thats mostly it. i took pics of some sketchbook pgs and how the back of the page looks so you can see for yourself ( cw for bakudeku LOL ) ...theres a lot of like.. normal brush pen ink and india ink that penetrates the paper more like even compared to the black posca

I feel like I’ve probably talked about this before in another ask post but i dont really think about style because its one of those things that artists should try to change depending upon intention, what you’re drawing and what you want to communicate etc. what people often recognize as style are quirks that an artist maintains throughout changing their subject and approach.....ANYWAYS. thats all to say my style probably just comes out of normal stuff like looking at other art and thinking “I want to do that” or trying out different mediums and methods and settling with whatever feels the best LOL. It’s always changing & growing! Because I’m always learning new stuff!

Theres a lot! I really like the scene when daisukes lying awake in bed thinking abt how ken’s heartbeat felt. And the scene when they have a sleepover and ken wakes up first and looks over to daisuke sleeping LOL idk subtle stuff you can read very clearly as like burgeoning queer moments.. theyre recognizable from my own queer childhood and i love that in a kids anime. also at the end of the series when theyre fighting the final boss dude and ken grabs daisukes arm to ask him to jogress but hes shivering and daisuke just turns to say “youre shaking....” and in revenge of diaboromon when ken goads daisuke into endurance running by taunting him about soccer LOL (jock romance). but one i rly want to mention is theres this youtube video about how ken and daisuke’s honorifics change over the course of the series and how significant it is when they switch over to first name basis and honestly i think about it a lot THEY HAVE GREAT SCENES!! I love ken and daisuke

riot forge games i want for my top 10 league champs

making a long ass post for funsies about what kind of riot forge games i want to see in the future revolving around the champs i like, most of this might feel like a shit post but thats kind of the point since i dont know anything about game design Ezreal i want ezreal to be the male version of lara croft, just the annoying gay version, give him a tomb raider styled game in shurima, ixtal or even targon and have him just be the narcissistic bisexual man he is, brownie points if he has multiple different ship endings cause that mf is shipped with everyone. Aphelios and Alune aphelios i have multiple ideas i kind of like, i like skooches idea of a fps shooter adventure game with skill trees and stuff, but i also have grown really attached to the idea of a Kid Icarus Uprising styled game with aphelios going on missions while alune is just casually talking to the aspects and granting aphelios his weapons much like Pit and Palutena. maybe have the 2nd act of the game be with Aphelios actually being voiced due to stuff in act 1 idk idk just spit balling. Sett ok ok ok so what if it was announced that sett was getting a game and it was called something like Sett's Fighting Simulator, where its literally just a fighting game with Sett, but you pick what kind of fighters you want sett to sponsor (idk if thats the right word) so he can earn money, obviously have sett do some of the fighting too. but you might be wondering what would you use this money for? well you could go the boring route and just have it be to upgrade Sett's fighting pit, but you could go the more wholesome route and have the 2nd hidden half of the game be a house decorating simulator for Sett's mom cause WHY NOT. basically do a fnaf pizza simulator but the opposite. Rakan its really hard to make a game with rakan and not have xayah included (don't get me wrong i like xayah shes just not in my top 10 champs), so I decided for a niche idea thats kind of already been done with the Star Gaurdian event, but it would be a dating simulator where you play as Xayah dating Rakan (duh) and it takes place before things go to shit and they get corrupted. basically have all those pictures of xayah and rakan in Everything Goes On be cute little dates that we actually get to see and maybe have it end tragically idk idk i forget if rakan mf dies in the last event or not lol Yuumi how tf am i supposed to create a game about Yuumi, her lore is dull af and shes just a stupid cat. anyways i love her and her game would be like Talking Tom/Hey You Pikachu where you yell at your phone to get her attention and the microphone just doesnt work and she does the exact opposite thing you want her to do. Nunu and Willump song of nunu is already looking to be everything id want in a nunu gaming game, but if there is no willump hug options in song of nunu then make that its own game

I’m looking at the First Six and trying to piece it all together. *wild theories begin*

We all know Dorian /pos (bottom right).

The entity above Dorian (middle right) wears a veil so I’m wondering if that’s Delusion.

(middle left) They look like Eri with the bob, pose and clothing/silhouette but have wavy hair instead. I think I saw Aeron putting on this appearance like a mask when they said they could look like anyone. I wonder if this is the original demon of Delirium that gave up the mantle? Or maybe it’s Delirium themselves rather than the previous holder or the Eri we know. Delusion being there too might support this.

(top left) I’ve seen her face and hair before when Aeron was wearing them, switching rapidly between many who were probably these guys. I’m not sure yet who she is.

(bottom left) She looks oddly like Iris who I think will become a recurring character. Will she perhaps undergo the demon process to try and cure her of the parasight then, and take a demon mantle?

I don’t think I’ve met the Fog before, not sure which one she is. Perhaps she’s from God Is In The Radio which I still do need to check out.

Other thoughts -

I’m wondering if the actual demons are the entities with the D names/titles, and the characters we know are more like their representatives on the physical plane. Who have nicknamed and visually customised themselves to their taste. Kind of like angels do the ‘form you can understand’ thing.

This is maybe why they need to fuse their matter with human bodies, it’s material required for embodiment on the physical plane. They literally need to be made flesh. (And it’s why Genesis still needs hair conditioner. He’s a physical avatar. Or do I have this the wrong way around and Delusion, Delirium, Dissonance are the physical manifestations affecting the world? Dissonance isn’t seen when Genesis kills you but it seems it is heard - is it acting through Genesis as a vessel?)

And maybe the ones that were once human need to mesh rather than just be taken over like a shell. So it’s more complicated and painful - if it fails they are destroyed or die. They could retain a fragment of their old consciousness (Eri is still traumatized from life and so is Dorian) and prefer to retain some resemblance to their form in life.

(I wonder if I am looking at the wrong demon for Delirium? Going by the hair the demon I think is them had dark skin and a wavy bob when Aeron wore their appearance. Pre-demon Eri was pale and had long straight hair before cutting it. But Delusion does look different to Aeron.)

Maybe the form we’ve met is just chosen by Eri who kept and hates too much change from his original body. Or maybe there’s a limit on how much you can change an original human body and he just made a few adjustments to feel more comfortable in his gender, plus adopted the haircut (but he did that pre-demon?) and dressed in the archive style.

Dori does still look mostly like he did in life too, aside from the demon eyes and muzzle. (Did Delusion punish him with the muzzle in the same mocking way they pranked Eri with the snake demon eyes? Did silver tongue Dori try to manipulate or lie to them? 👀)

I can’t find the post with the timeline of when they all met though, I don’t remember it matching up like that. And Dori must be extremely forgiving if they’re besties and get intimate. But then Dori does expect forgiveness and intimacy of the murdered Fallen so… When he says he doesn’t know who has the key, is he lying? Aeron does make it look like the muzzle is off. Casanova has a key around his neck. Maybe God did it when Dori went to Hell or maybe Dori made a bargain with Aeron/Delusion during or after being killed. Do you need to still be alive to become a demon?

Idk how the demonification process works or what the rules are. I’m just busily looking for clues and grasping for the lore of the little guys.

My concepts of all this are also somewhat shaped by the Endless from ‘Sandman’. ie. Death appearing as the mortal Didi, or demi-mortal Daniel inheriting the mantle of Dream/Morpheus but slightly altering the form. Morpheus also had a supernatural accessory as keeper of his realm (helmet).

Not a comparison! AWB is its own new thing. Just saying I’m coming from some preformed understandings about archetypes/gods/angels and demons that might not be true here.

the middle-right is greed. she lives in opulence, and i based her design partially off mourners. greed, named prudence, likes her luxuries quietly. she decorates her hands in gold, but the paint melts off. she likes it that way. gilded. she doesn't flaunt it, and she prefers to keep to herself.

gluttony is the one to the middle-left. they're a hunter who likes fine things. i dont know why i gave them a long, fur coat. i think it's because it was cold. it rains with freezing rain, and he indulges. he does not discriminate in the flesh he salivates over.

top left is limbo. i wrote something about her that i can't remember now. there are lots of lost souls in her caverns. she walks with a lantern and cares where she can. there is a lively community of souls in the caves of limbo.

you are correct about what will happen to iris. bottom left is anger. he hurts himself and others in his rampages, sinks into the swamps and swims around. he just loves to fight.

top right is lust. she walks along the water, strolls through the sand in a long, white dress. references to the birth of venus. she is a virgin of eternal light.

you're more or less correct. the D names was just because having three with the same letter was satisfying on my tongue. they can change their forms at will. aeron does it more often. genesis does it when he feels he needs to. erebus refuses.

in ways they're vessels. due to story reasons, the only entity you see in awb is delusion. for delusion, it lives in aeron's chest. they're the same entity. they act separately but together. aeron can cut their chest open to allow "delusion" more control. they blend together when aeron spaces out. delusion observes life through the eyes of everyone it has ever come in proximity with. it is looking through your eyes right now. it lends aeron with the ability to scan for people to find them, as long as they know who the person is.

dissonance for genesis is used more as a tool. like a weapon fused with his spirit. it is in his music, in his instruments. genesis can use it to create awful sounds in certain proximities to find things or to wreak general havoc. but it's used mostly for the love of music. it's also a bit harder for me to design dissonance. i'm already redesigning delusion. delirium doesn't really need a physical form because it's in the words. you picture delirium yourselves when you read.

the entity and the body are the same, but it comes down to the love of the human world for how they present. the molding with flesh stuff i added just because i thought it was cool, but it can also be because the entities are sort of manifestations. they cannot make physical interactions. you will make a contract with something that looks human, not a ball of energy.

the ones that were once human were chosen by forces they can never hear in more than screams. it is painful. dorian cares little for his time as a human. he remembers it, but he knows that is not the person he is now. erebus is just mad at the world and how it has treated him every step of the way.

delusion and dorian look similar (in delusion's current form, which i may redesign) for other undisclosed reasons. aeron and dorian met when dorian was still alive, but aeron had no say nor any involvement over dorian becoming a demon. no one has a say unless they force it. their meeting was accidental.

genesis does mention he once tried to turn a human into a demon who ended up going insane. brutus hungers for flesh and the sinews in your shoulders like a rabid dog. if the person does not erupt into gore, they erupt into hysteria.

just as limbo must always be in gloom, just as lust may never touch another person with her skin, dorian must be chained. i have no reason for this other than "muzzle look cool" and angst. i do not know who has the key. it doesn't matter for dorian's story. he is fine as-is.

• Right so, you're the perfect matching opposites. Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw. Soft, grunge. But you also have similar interests and are just super cute together.

• Youse only start dating in sixth year but become close really quickly. He thinks it's really cool that you have a piercing and your style, and that your American. He loves when its the weekends because he gets to see your personality through your outfits, seeing how the Ravenclaw uniform can only have so many small accessories added to it before Flitwick starts deducing house points.

• After a few months of you dating, Cedric would find his mornings consisted or arriving at your dorm, after sneaking past the portrait for 'prefect things'. He'd lounge about in your room and watch you doing your hair sometimes, still fasinated on how you managed to tame the small curls whilst he stuggled to keep his hair looking nice when it was hardly as hard to look after. Once he found out that you need to buy certain shampoos and conditioners, he saves up to get you a new set for Christmas.

• Okay so everyone knows that Hufflepuffs are loyal and kind and that Cedric would literally be the sweetest to you, but that doesn't stop him from stealing your glasses every now and then ~ "You don't need them ." Anyways, in any other setting, he'd be the perfect gentleman. Also, idk if you like rock music (like Green Day or Nirvana or smthin) but introducing muggle rock to him would literally be the best. Like he'd just be so confused for a moment as to how exactly a walkman works but soon enough you wouldn't be able to get it back.

• Agh ! Right so he knows you love animals and when you tell him you have a pet he's like 'it's probably a bunny or something like that'. Then you reappear with a snake to show him and he's all like ... WTF. Anyways, soon enough he's become bestest buds with your pet and is drifing off in morning conversations to where the glass cage is set up in your dorm.

• He begs to move COMC classes so he can be with you. ~ "It's for my prefect duties." "Whatever Diggory " ~

• Dates happen at least once a week because Mr Diggory is a true romantic and won't let you go without time together since both of your friend groups aren't friends and pratically refuse to hang out with each other. It's mainly the Ravenclaws stereotyping the Hufflepuffs and the Hufflepuffs stereotyping the Ravenclaws. But they put their differences aside so you and Cedric can be happy together.

Charles has to win Monaco. After what Ferrari did in 2022 (and 2021 but he made the mistake in quali also and let’s not talk about the 2019 mess) they owe him that win.

My theory is that they switched all development last year to this year car to make 2 cars. One to fight redbull everywhere (a fail at Bahrain but I will only loose all hope in April) AND a car for Charles to win in Monaco. That’s why we seem to have been tight on the budget side. That was Binotto master plan to make up for 2022.

Nos if they could feed that first car so that we can see Max and Charles fight at least 2 or 3 times that would be nice. Their driving styles are so similar they need to be able to meet on track past turn one to play a bit.

Eh, I mean. We hear a lot about teams having this super secret B-spec up their sleeve that's supposed to ~save the day, using it as a thinly veiled threat to unnerve their rivals...but idk how much of that is, 1. credible and doable, especially in a cost cap era where teams seem to be stretched thin trying to build ONE competitive car let alone think about a b-spec, 2. actually going to make a difference. Aston introduced their b-spec car around Spain last year, and while it allowed them to develop in the right direction, it wasn't a game-changer by any means, and mostly just became a source of jokes and ridicule with the Green Red Bull comparisons and memes.

Owing him or no (Charles undoubtedly deserves to have at least a fighting chance of winning his home race and it's something a lot of people would like to see, I think, even if they're not necessarily Charles fans) with the way things currently look, I can't see him winning it, unless he's in the right place at the right time to capitalise on someone else's error. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic, theories and the "on paper" predictions don't always align with reality, but with Red Bull being so competitive and the Astons having characteristics that suit Monaco... we're probably in for another year of ~traditions~ around that track🥴
