Day: Monday, March 18th / 19th* Time: 2:35 PM EST

Andrew precedes him out of the room, but Neil snags his sleeve as he tugs the door closed behind them. Andrew obediently turns to face him. "How does it feel to sell yourself out?" Andrew asks. "Worth every penny," Neil says. "Let him have however much he wants. I don't need the money. All I need is what he gave me: a promise that I have a future. I have permission—no, orders—to live my life how I want to. I'm going to graduate from Palmetto State in four more years and play Exy until they force me to retire. Maybe I'll even die of old age." "You sound more like them every day," Andrew says. Neil guesses he means their more optimistic teammates. "You're going to have to come up with something of your own to hold onto. I'm safe, Kevin doesn't need your protection anymore, Nicky's going back to Erik eventually, and Aaron's got Katelyn. What are you going to live for if you're not playing sheepdog for us?" "Aaron doesn't have Katelyn." "Denial doesn't suit you. We talked about this." "You talked," Andrew says. "I didn't listen." "Choose us," Neil says. It is enough to shut Andrew up—maybe only for a second, but Neil will take any opening he can get. "Kevin's going to retake his spot on Court before he graduates. He thinks I can make the cut with enough practice and time. Come with us. Let's all play in the Olympics together one day. We'd be unstoppable." "That's your obsession, not mine." "Borrow it until you have something of your own." Neil holds tighter to Andrew's sleeve when Andrew starts to pull free. "Isn't any of this fun? Having a place, having a team, a different city every week and cigarettes and drinks in-between? I don't want this to end." Andrew yanks loose. "Everything ends."

I have long been obsessed with blue/red artwork but this is some of the most masterfully done I've seen!) @/tamberella Consistently blown away by this person's colors, lighting, and composition! @/pauzamro Very delicious colors and the whole thing has a lovely texture to it! @/ionomycin The colors, mood, and all the little details in this are so beautiful to me! 18.) Any larger projects you'd like to pursue: I would like to some day make much longer, more detailed animatics. One that show more movement and action, as opposed to just a single still image panning and zooming over a static background for each scene. I would also like to make animations some day. Nothing professional, just for fun! :)

It was their first day off after what felt like years, and Neil couldn’t be happier. His excitement and joy practically radiated off of him and Andrew supposed he didn’t mind. He could deal with Neil looking at him with that expression (love) on his face and he could deal with Neil’s breath taking smile and his disgustingly affectionate eyes just as long as Neil didn’t make them get out of bed. Andrew absolutely refused to do anything today.

The King's Men - Chapter Fourteen

Day: Sunday, March 10th / 11th* Time: 11:30 PM EST

Neil thinks about getting undressed, decides it will take far too much effort, and sits down on his blankets to wait on the rest of the Foxes. He ends up in the dead center of the room, with Andrew on one side of him and Matt on the other. His thoughts should have kept him up all night, but with his friends this close Neil can't worry about anything. Neil studies Andrew's face until he can't keep his eyes open anymore. He dreams of facing his father on an Exy court, and in his dream the Foxes win.

aqua: do you thrift?

yes! actually about 90% of my clothes are thrifted, I’m poor (my whole family is poor) so I have thrifted or received hand-me-downs for my whole life :) and I am not ashamed of admitting that I’m poor either, my family is very hardworking (even if you aren’t u are still valid, poor people are not at fault of the situations we are in.) I just live in the U.S. and capitalism is a desease.

pink: what’s your natural hair color?

idk what is up, but my natural hair color has changed throughout my life, when i was born it was dark brown and then lightened to medium brown. then in late elementary to early middle school it changed to like golden brown/dirty blond whatever tf and then later in high school it became medium brown again and then now it is a grey-ish (?) mousy brown i think its called. but my hair is bleached blond almost all the time bc i like the way it contrasts with my dark bushy brows :)

Hey guys omg you are open! I would ask two things if that's okay? First the easier: do you know any ninja/Kung Fu AU's? And then, the second is a specific one - I never got to read the fic, so I only remember the synopsis. It was a twinyard fic, where they pretended to be the same person, bc you couldn't have more than one kid, but then Andrew went missing and Neil appeared and wanted to help Aaron find Andrew, because he knew him. I think it was some kind of a sci-fi or cyber fic, but I'm not sure about that one.

As it turns out, the second part of your ask was a lot easier to solve than the first! It is ‘Crossfire’ by RoseGold_En, previously recommended here.
