WARNING NSFW!! :)
butcher/homelander
the enhanced senses heighten each touch billy makes, heat sparking through his body.
he makes sure to nestle the side of into the pillow, gloved fingers curling into the blankets, crushing them in his vice-like grip like a handful of grapes. butcher mirrors the action, digging his dirty, anxiously bitten nails into the supple skin of his waist. he anchors his fingers into homelander’s hipbone, guiding him body back. he splayed his other hand across the curved expanse of homelander’s back, putting pressure on the area. his erect spit-slicked nipples scrape the bedding. homelander twitches. he sucks in a sharp breath and squeezes his eyes closed, his damp lashes fanning against his pinkish cheeks. he’s shaking like an autumn leaf, and his hair cascades over his eyes when he drops his head forward, the nape of his neck exposed. butcher groans, he digs his fingers deeper into the jut of his waist, bucking forward, provoked by the way homelander fucks himself back against his cock. he clenches around the aching girth stretching the sensitive rim of his derriere, stretching and pulling everytime billy sways his hips back, then forth, then back.
he digs in it deep. homelander moans, his breaths trembling and wet. he reopens his eyes, a soft pink glow budding. the gathering heat vision makes his skin grow noticeably warm. butcher’s chest is inches away from homelander’s back as his splayed hands slips up to grasp at the blonde strands. homelander presses his forearms into the bed, closing the gap, he hinges his head back, the back of his neck and head pressing against the firm muscle of billy’s neck. billy angles his head, draping his hand around homelander’s throat, and with a breath-cutting grip, he squeezes. he digs his fingertips into the column where the vertebrae rests.
he digs in it deeper, holding his hips still.
homelander whines, at least he tries to. billy angles his head once more, slipping his hand from his neck. homelander inhales sharply, gathering oxygen into his lungs without the faint pressure on his throat. yet then, his face is being planted into the sheets without warning. he kicks his legs up in the air and curls his toes while billy continues to lay between them, driving his cock deep inside.
“face down until your eyes stop fucking glowing.”

I have feelings and I have to talk about them.
in my head only thoughts about the sheriff.
a lot of thoughts btw. this is loooooong.
Spoilers for Jimmy's Empire S2 recent eps.
*breaks down into tears*
anyway. poor pathetic man is (hopefully) getting a villain arc and i think he needs it. he deserves to snap and hurt and use Lore on the others. so *so* badly i want them to listen to him but i know it's unlikely. and *gem* being the one to kill him. one of the few, few people who at least pitied him.
and then *the past sheriff.* let me tell ya, my brain is riddled with angst by him.
because the moment i saw him, after getting excited about it being martyn, i was like 'oh. oh. Jimmy is going to *idolize* him.' and i was like i can see where he could end up like a positive figure but then. *but then* he started explaining how he was the most respected sheriff so my brain took a curve to be like 'oh, he's going to be like Jimmy. lying to people about respect.' and then he explained that "people were so in awe of me that they'd run inside and shut their doors." and i don't know if my brain has ever taken a sharp turn so quickly. generally, i try to see the fluffy things and those are my comfort, but when i tell you my next thoughts were 'oh no. he was feared. people respected him bc he was scary.'
and it *kept going* with the alcoholic tendencies, people trying to keep him away, R.E.S.P.E.C.T, *ricky*. bc in the stream (i only watched a little) he says that ricky was his ex-deputy that did nothing but cause trouble. my next few thoughts went like this;
'he was a corrupt sheriff for sure.'
'they trapped him on purpose. they wanted him to be gone.'
'he's going to ruin Jimmy.'
and for the life of me, i couldn't stop thinking about how the past sheriff would probably be super manipulative in that nice way so that Jimmy could only rely on him for any positive reinforcement, Jimmy is willing to do *anything* so someone will *just stay*, and in the end, i genuinely think the past sheriff is going to try and take his spot. bc Jimmy already is listening to everything he says and of course, everyone already likes the past sheriff more, just to mess with Jimmy.
and, of course, the sheriff likes other people more too.
bc tumble town is empty. what do you mean it's empty? he's got villagers, yeah but he doesn't interact with them. he, in general, probably forgets they're there. but like that literally broke my heart bc he's alone. and people only visit him to taunt him.
so yeah i think Jimmy deserves to be a little bit mean. he probably won't be. he'll probably be manipulated and ignored and we're all going to go crazy. he's probably going to end up like how pearl was in double life.
[sidenote: it sucked to type on mobile and try the italics. so the asterisks are italics for the parts it didn't work. except that first sentence. i am in tears. i spent like 20 minutes faffing with the italics. and i can't get rid of them otherwise the entire paragraph changes so. yeah. it looks ugly.]
(i do want to mention that i nearly died laughing at the beginning of the stream where fwhip just chases the past sheriff around asking if he needs a deputy.)

even if i study social sciences in highschool i really want to study physics, mathematics, coding, chemistry, anatomy and economy in my free time. there is so much knowledge, so many things yet to be known. i chose social sciences so i can focus on what i love doing, and to have more free time. one of the main advantages is that i can also choose to study things outside of my school curriculum without the pressure of grades and the need to compete with anyone else but myself. i love learning by myself for myself.

Michael Tau — Extreme Music: From Silence to Noise and Everything in Between (Feral House)
Tumblr media
One of the best and most interesting things about Michael Tau’s new overview/catalog/traveller’s guide Extreme Music: From Silence to Noise and Everything in Between is that you would be equally justified in calling it Extreme Musics. As that subtitle tries to sum up, Tau isn’t playing favourites with one particular kind of extremity, but instead trying to give the reader a tour through the various ways many people over the years and decades have gone outside what is usually considered pleasurable or worthwhile music, or even music at all. Often works like this are put together either by the already hopelessly devoted (which risks stranding all but fellow travellers) or those approaching the exercise with a kind of patrician disdain. Tau succeeds by adopting neither pose; he’s not afraid to ask “who, exactly, likes this stuff?” but crucially he’s actually invested in figuring out the answer to that question.
Extreme Music is divided into seven sections: Extreme Scenes (devoted to extremity of sound and content), Extreme Durations (in either direction), Extreme Records (interesting LP and, let’s say, LP-aping formats), Technological Quirks (various other formats and technologies), Extreme Packaging (including packaging taken to the extent it changes or hampers the music itself), Recordings? (going even further in that direction, with silent, damaged, and unplayable records), and The Digital Age (which considers some more recent/innovative formats and scenes, and includes a series of profiles of recent outsider artists). As you might expect from that breadth, the book is more interested in seeking out exemplars, histories, and boundaries than in going too deep in any area, but one of Tau’s other strengths is that he’s quite good at giving brief but surprisingly deep readings of particular scenes and sounds. There might only be around ten pages devoted to, say, harsh noise wall records or music on floppy discs or disgusting packaging, but each section sticks with you. Throughout there are occasional sidebars listing Tau’s picks (sometimes sourced by genre artists and experts) for introductory canons to some of the types of music discussed wherein.
Almost by definition, most people who will wind up reading Extreme Music will be more interested in reading about these types of music than in getting deeply into all of the various types Tau covers. But as mentioned, Tau takes the devotion small groups of people have to each type he covers here seriously, conducting plenty of interviews with artists, label heads, etc. and when he doesn’t himself feel visceral attraction to a type of extreme music giving a good faith effort to represent the reasonings and experiences of those who do. Especially once Extreme Music starts getting into less… hearable forms of music (a vinyl LP you play by rubbing dirt on it, conceptual pieces that exist in both the experimental music and fine art spaces, deliberately damaged media, and so on) the book also does a solid job of explicating the reasons one might want to make music that isn’t “really” music, for any readers who don’t already feel the pull.
Ultimately Extreme Music is an impressive and fascinating work of documentation and compilation, one where even relatively seasoned (or jaded) music fans are likely to come away with some new fascinating bits of information and music to check out (and/or avoid). The most endearing aspect, of both the book and the music it covers, is the way even the most “extreme” of these musics are ultimately made by people for plenty of ordinary human reasons - to try and make a quick buck, to see if something can even work, to outdo a friend or rival, or just because we all have things we think sound good that make most others wince. Extreme Music doesn’t at all softpedal just how extreme in various directions these forms are (including, sometimes, in ways that range towards the unethical), but it also commendably demystifies these sometimes exoticized forms as what they ultimately are: human forms of artistic and creative expression.

hi. genuine question here for y'all alloromantics(i think that's the term) out there.
how does flirting work?
is it just aggressive compliments? because i do that with my friends. is it pet names? i also do that with my friends, but that would make a little more sense to me, but it seems uncomfortable to do to someone you aren't already dating. do you just bat your eyelashes at each other????
