Writing Update ✍️

Well, what a busy summer it's already been! Know I've been active here and there, but tbh, life has been crazy - both in good and in bad ways.

I still find solace in writing no matter what, so just wanted to post a tiny update about what I'm presently working on and what I want to work on eventually 🤗📖

Very subject to change but I'm excited!

Current project:

Squarepants family fic

I'm currently working on a fic (mentioned here) that involves the Squarepants family. 🧽👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 What started out as a plot bunny has evolved into something much bigger, which (unfortunately) means it's been taking me a bit more time than expected.

Additionally, with all the lore and headcanons I'm including, this fic is becoming slightly longer than I originally thought. It was going to be ~6 chapters but I'm thinking it might go up to 7-8.

Hoping to share some teasers by the end of this month, but we shall see.

SquidBob is the main pairing. 🧽🐙

Fortune teller/soulmate fic

Yes! This is still happening, I swear it!

I've already shared quite a bit about this fic, but deets are here and here. There will be more teasers when I have more figured out + written/edited.

No ETA yet.

Main pairing is SquidBob, with a relatively big Plabs/Karendy side plot. There will also be Fancykins if you squint.

TLM AU fic

I've definitely said somewhere that I don't usually write/read full-blown AUs (i.e., not canon divergence), but I'm about to do something I never thought I'd do and try my hand at writing an AU fic. 🙌

As with many AUs in SBSP, it will involve humanization. However, it will also involve non-anthro critters that maintain cartoonish attributes (ex. Finding Nemo, Lion King [animated], etc).

Setting is probably ~1800's in a seaside kindgom/village. It won't be super accurate but I'm here to entertain, not educate - unless the opportunity presents itself in a fun way. 🤯

It isn't going to be the timeliest either lol, but it was somewhat inspired by this. 👀🧜‍♀️

I haven't even started drafting this, so no ETA yet.

To the surprise of no one, SquidBob is the main pairing. 😊

Werewolf lesbians fic

I haven't posted much original content for Sims, but I'm a total Simmer and I'd love to do more Sims storytelling at some point. Fun fact: my username was actually inspired by the Tragic Clown from the games. 🤡

The Sims 4 Werewolves did a great job on the lore so I've had this idea to write a story (maybe with screenshots?) based on that with my own made-up lore sprinkled in. 🐺There would obviously be a romance aspect because I'm a sucker for it and there's this "Fated Mates" feature that I just have to include. 💏

So, just a couple of days ago the new SpongeBob video game “Cosmic Shake” released and I’ve already completed it! Really fun game and a great follow-up to Battle for Bikini Bottom! One of the new characters introduced in the game is Madame Kassandra, you’ll find yourself collecting jelly for her throughout the many stages! In my opinion, she’s a girlboss fr fr. I also love her design, her voice and just her character in general, would be nice to see more of her after the game! Maybe a show appearance or a role in a future game, perhaps?? Well, anyways, I hope you like my art of her! Bye!

Ok, ngl here, but I think that PoseidonXKassandra is kinda interesting if ya think about it.

Even though I do ship Poseidon with Salacia like in the Original Myths, how do you think Poseidon and Kassandra would interact if they ever met?

I kinda like to think Kassandra was a past fling he had. Maybe long ago they knew each other and had a thing, then they broke up. Can't really imagine on what terms. Probably bad since Poseidon is VERY kinda narcissistic. That's definitely going to tank a relationship.

Not sure how they'd meet. Maybe Poseidon deciding he's a bit bored of Atlantic city and decides to go traveling? He tours around in the seas and he ends up near her shop(?) And at first she sees him as someone to swindle but then realizes he's king of Atlantic city. She can rob him blind and resell his treasures. But she'd need a plan. She decides to woo him to get closer and they end up dating. I imagine Poseidon caving into any attention he receives and happily dates her. He just wants someone to shower him with compliments and the job here is a little too easy for Kassandra.

Though with time she can't help but find him amusing. Perhaps she finds his stupidity hilarious. Perhaps she finds his obliviousness amusing. Perhaps she finds it somewhat endearing. Perhaps she finds it cute. Before she knows it she sorta ends up catching feelings. It doesn't help that they are somewhat together. Maybe not all of this fake dating was all so fake.

Of course she has a job to do and she does it well. She does feel regret somewhat but the dyll pain in her heart is easily remedied by the thoughts of the wealth she'll obtain through this scheme. Poseidon is just too easy. Also I think his narcissism makes it all a little easier both literally and emotionally. Yeah she somewhat likes him but its barely reciprocated in a meaningful way so its not really a loss. Sometimes she does wish it could have been better but eh she's not the type to hang up on her feelings.

I feel like post sotr if they met up again it would've been better. Idk how much she's willing to look past his current appearance but ya know? It might be a little better. She'd still rob him blind. It's just she'd actually feel bad about it this time lol

So, I was having a hard time articulating this in the tags but I already have another ✨squidbob fic idea✨ and I felt shouting it into the void would hold me accountable to write it so... here it goes. 🤡✍️

I haven't played it but I've seen some content for SBSP: The Cosmic Shake and Madame Kassandra really inspired me to write a soulmate/fortune teller fic. 🧜‍♀️🔮 More deets/potential spoilers below the cut.

I don't want to give too much away, but I'm thinking Madame Kassandra is a scarily accurate fortune teller (but not a villain) that shows up in Bikini Bottom in her caravan. Like she uses a crystal ball, tarot cards and shit.

Anyway, Spongebob and Patrick go see her and then try to convince Squidward to get his fortune told, too. Reluctantly, Squidward does. At first he's super skeptical and makes it known, but she accurately tells him things about himself that she wouldn't be able to figure out with a lucky guess. So Squidward starts to believe her - he even gets a bit enthusiastic about it - so he asks her about his future love life. Kassandra tells him all these great things about his soulmate/fated partner (i.e., his partner is a natural artist, they bring out the best in him, etc.). As Squidward asks more questions, like where he'll meet them, he soon figures out that his soulmate is none other than.... Spongebob Squarepants.

So he basically tries to brush it off as some "mystical nonsense" and spends much of the fic in denial. However, he slowly but surely comes to realize his true feelings. And maybe it turns out Spongebob found out the same thing but didn't say anything?

I probably won't get to it for a bit, but it's an idea I'm playing with and I think it'd be pretty cute & fun to write. Thinking it'd be a short multi-chapter as I don't want to rush the ending and I do love a slow burn. 🔥

А я хочу поділитися шип-кідом одного з улюблених шипів - Afterdeath. Сподіваюсь, що зможу стати частинкою цікавого і приємного контенту Undertale AU.

Не можу назвати себе художником, оскільки я не маю певної освіти чи достатньої кількості досвіду в малюванні, але бажання візуалізувати свого шип-кіда та підтримка друзів допомогли мені спробувати себе. Пробачте мене за помилки в малюнках, також у майбутньому я намагатимусь позбавляти персонажа схожості з джерелами натхнення 🙏🏻.

Ця мадам - мій шип-кід Afterdeath. Її ім'я Кассандра (коротко Касс, Андра, а також Леді-тінь) та їй 29 років.

Кассандра дуже спокійна і навіть холодна леді, вона надає перевагу класичному стилю. Має гарний голос!

За все своє життя мала багато хобі, але все ж таки наука затягнула її (проте своїм основним заняттям назве медицину).

Касс обожнює тишу, читати книги в улюбленому кріслі та спостерігати за природою здалека. Намагається підтримувати теплі відносини із сім'єю. Її можна назвати суворою сестрою, проте вона дуже піклується про братів/сестер, а також до неї можна звернутися за порадою.

Кассандра - сильний маг, в особливості добре розвинена лікуюча магія. Смертельний дотик від Ріпера їй передався деяким відсотком, вона має ауру, що забере життя, але цього не достатньо, аби вбити когось. Тому біля неї можуть загинути, наприклад, квіти або пов'янути трава. Аура має чорно-фіолетовий колір, може з'явитися у вигляді туману/диму.

Андра холодна тілом, тому може носити рукавиці, щоб при контакті не морозити когось. Знайома з багатьма всесвітами й іншими шип-кідами, відноситься до цього абсолютно спокійно.

Good afternoon, fans of Undertale and it's alternate universes!

I think many of you have your AU or version of any character from the original game. Someone openly talks about them, and someone, for various reasons, doesn't have the courage to show their creations. I wish everyone success, inspiration and self-confidence! Everything will work out for you!

And I want to share a shipkid of one of my favorite ships - Afterdeath. I hope that I can become a little part of the interesting and enjoyable content of Undertale AU.

You can call me DD or Babay!

I can't call myself an artist because I don't have a certain education or enough experience in drawing, but the desire to visualize my ship kid and the support of my friends helped me to try myself. Please forgive me for the mistakes in the drawings and in my English, I'll also try to make the character less similar to the sources of inspiration in the future 🙏🏻.

This madam is my Afterdeath shipkid. Her name is Kassandra (short form Kass, Andra, and also Shadow Lady) and she is 29 years old.

Kassandra is a very calm and even cold lady, she prefers a classic style. She has a beautiful voice!

Throughout her life, she had many hobbies, but she was still drawn to science (however, she called medicine her main occupation).

Kass loves silence, reading books in her favorite chair and watching nature from afar. She tries to maintain warm relations with his family; can be called a strict sister, but she cares a lot about her brothers/sisters and you can ask her for advice.

Kassandra is a strong mage, especially well-developed healing magic. The death touch from the Reaper was transferred to her by a certain percentage, she has an aura that will take life, but it's not enough to kill someone. Therefore, flowers or grass may wither near her, for example. The aura is black-purple in color and may appear as fog/smoke.

Andra has a cold body, so she can wear gloves so as not to freeze someone on contact. Kass aware with many universes and other shipkids, she is absolutely calm about it.

Kassandra belongs to me.

REVIEW | "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake" | B3 - Boston Bastard Brigade

As licensing games go, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom ranks highly. It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly two decades since that title first graced a GameCube, with one follow-up SpongeBob game after another failing to recapture that magic. Perhaps it’s a good thing Purple Lamp Studios — who developed the remake back in 2020 — was given a crack at making a proper successor to that game. The end result, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, feels exactly like what a true sequel should be, albeit with a couple of minor flubs.

The Cosmic Shake begins after a day at the Glove World theme park. SpongeBob and Patrick meet the mermaid fortune teller Madame Kassandra, who sells them magic bubble soap that claims to make wishes come true. After goofing off with the soap, the duo discover that it belongs to King Neptune. Soon chaos erupts, with Bikini Bottom being ripped apart, and its pieces sent to various dimensions.

Now SpongeBob and Patrick — the latter of whom has turned into a balloon — must fix their shattered town. To do that, Madame Kassandra instructs them to collect Cosmic Jelly to help make costumes for SpongeBob to wear. One of the great things about SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Jelly is its story. The narrative and dialogue feel like they’re a part of the golden age of the classic cartoon. With an homage or two from the series’s best episodes in tow, Purple Lamp Studios manages to craft a story that’s not just entertaining, but also laugh-out-loud hilarious! From a certain bus stop in spooky Rock Bottom to the Flying Dutchman’s beloved socks, every little nod showcased fits terrifically with the narrative being told.
