This is a Lilanette/Cerisette wip.

I planify this draft for the @mlbfemslashfebruary event. I will color that in next weeks.

In this draft, Lila/Cerise and Marinette play rock music together. Lila/Cerise plays electric guitar and Marinette plays keyboard. And they make an illegal concert. In this AU, the Supreme from the Re-Verse has forbidden the music. The latter's logo gets vandalized.

About their fashion styles, I am based on Heavy Metal. The two girls remind me of JEM, A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga and some Rock Bands (Europe, The Who, Guns N'Roses, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Nirvana, Twisted Sister).

Lila/Cerise's hair is a wig with a sky-blue dye. Marinette is just Emonette-Shadybug.

Marinette is the Ladybug and Cerise is the new Hesperia for this concept.

In this AU, there is a band called Kitty Resistance (the Kitty Section counterpart). The two girls collaborate with this band.

Brutally Honest Design Opinions Time; Shadybug and Emonette

So, I really like Shadybug's design. It feels like a lot of thought and intention went into it, even more than the main timeline Ladybug's look. I like the balance of the red and black, the way her hair color and style change along with her eyes, and normally I have a pet peeve about active characters being designed with heels, but it doesn't bother me here.

The only thing I don't like; the implied shape of high stockings and a garter belt on a 14 year old... feels very icky to me, especially with that posing. I don't know if it was intentional, or maybe it's just me, but either way that's my least favorite aspect of an overall really good design.

Now, "Emonette"... I don't like it. The design somehow feels like it's trying too hard, while being half assed at the same time. Whereas Shadybug feels like Marinette with a completely different life path and personality, Emonette just feels like regular Marinette, but if she halfheartedly took a few styling cues from Juleka. There are things I do like about it, like the nail polish and the boots, and other things I think would work for me if they were tweaked a little, like the hair, gloves, and maybe the scarf. But, overall I don't think it comes together well. Especially with three separate shades of magenta/pink.

Her eyes popped open at the shout, growing wide as she recognized the black-haired girl running straight for the rubble.  She sucked in a breath when a guard caught her and held her back, her screams turning manic as she fought him.  Juleka’s hand dropped from her pendant, moving to lift her skirts as she turned from the window and ran for the nearest staircase.

No one knew.

She was the only one Luka had told of his deception – of his discovery.
