Haven’t had a lot of time to draw lately so figured I digitalis’s some of my class work just to have something to post and compare to. First up is what I call The Deer Series. Pretty much I had to use a stencil (That I had to make) and had to fill out certain prompts. The digital art vers will be me fleshing out the original concepts I had before having to change them. (Also just cleaning up lines and stuff)

First (but not first made) is Asymmetrical

Before anyone asks I know it isn’t technically asymmetrical, the way it was defined in my class was a lot of one thing on one side with one of one thing on the other. I am not risking my grade over a definition

Okay this shot of Colin is giving me the vibes of this little part of their first night together:

He's figured out that he loves her before this moment but he's just feeling so much that he also can't believe it's all because of Penelope, his lifelong friend who he didn't even see any other way before this season. He's like: "What the fuck and how the fuck are you making me feel these things" and I LOVE IT

He also looks like he was crying (or maybe that's just me) but that would also bring the whole scene on another level

Hello Tumblr again after a while, this will be my first post of 2024 and it’s gonna be buff Revik!! 😩

To be real, somehow on the first day of January AKA of 2024 overall I got sick for a week- And the only time I got better to go do stuff again without feeling like I was gonna collapse was when school started again for me, currently got so many things due this month, kind of an L in my case ngl 💀

Anyways though, just wanted to make a post because I’ve been not checking many/or any at all notifications from Tumblr out of stress and being overwhelmed!! 😍

And I’m realizing now that I’ve been getting @‘d at for things that I could have been reblogging- I SWEAR, it’s not because I’m trying to ignore, please I just get overwhelmed from the internet and I’m that kind of person who overchecks their things, so I just solved my issue by making sure I don’t get too addicted to using Tumblr-

Tomorrow or later today, I’m gonna try to respond to some of the things I’ve been pinged for and I also got a lot of drawings nearly done so I’ll be posting some eventually (Also the pings ngl where mainly just from @whereismyhat5678, and I’m so sorry bro for not interacting on your blog for a while man! The pandemic gets me down and makes me feel like extended concentration hurts (also, hi ADHD). I used to do these massive quilting projects where I'd hyperfocus, but lately I just ain't got it with managing all the other stuff, so this is my little art project. I get three lines, a typewriter I picked up at some random antique store with an old tape and sticky keys. No do-overs, and it comes out how it comes out. I'll add sketches if the spirit moves, starting in pencil and then over the top with fountain pen. I don't tie myself to doing it every day, so I'll do a bunch at once if I fall behind. Then I snip and paste into my passport size traveler's notebook.

Okay so I had the idea to use a new technique to make this. I used a syringe to add water drops, then I dabbed a little pigment on each bubble. I did 2 layers of this. It takes quite a while to get this effect because the larger bubbles took over 12 hours to dry and you can't move the paper!! I had fun with this and I did some basic edits. Really digging all 3 versions
