Motorcyclists gather at the end of DGR Salisbury in the grounds of Salisbury Cathedral and the tallest spire in the United Kingdom.

The cathedral was built in the early 1200’s.

Parking the motorcycles in the home and museum of the Rifle Regiment.

Filming of some Harry Potter scenes took place in the cloisters here.

After having seen this movie a million times 🙈 we were finally able to go to one of its filming locations in London... ❤️😍 and we were like kids on Christmas morning 🤣

As Google maps says: Star Trek filming location. I'm still not sure why Star Trek gets the most notoriety for this since there have been hundreds of other TV shows and films shot here, but all the same. This is otherwise known as Vasquez Rocks, LA County, California. Of course, as my 2nd pic / screen shot shows, it certainly is the filming location for much of this episode from Star Trek (The Original Series - Friday's Child s2e11). I think I've said before, in this age of digital, virtual, computer generated sets and locations, it's nice to be able to go to actual places that really do exist. But what I also see is that as we, actors, films, even the plants come and go through time, the rocks remain for far longer. In looking this up, I realized I'm not much older than the Star Trek episode. William Shatner (Captain Kirk) is still with us and yet so many of the others have since passed on. I don't really take my pics to for others to remember me (let's face it, I'm no Ansel Adams), but I do take my pics so that I can remember me and share my experiences with my family - and you. .
