Author's note: Don't have much to say, I wrote this for my big sis, 'cause she wasn't feeling well, mentally and phisically, and I wanted to cheer her a little bit. Hope this can make you guys smile too, and please always remember to take care of yourselves, your mental health matter as much as your physical health

"I can't believe..." Y/N mumbled as the slow creaking of the opening door reached her ears making her turn to the side and meet the guilty and obviously amused gaze of Edmund, who sneaked undisturbed into the room "You sneaked out again..." she sighed, letting out a hoarse laugh as she slowly, careful not to make sudden or too rapid movements, sat up with her back sunk limply against the pillows "You don't need to pass so often ... it's just a cold" she added while observing him with a sort of resignation as he confidently took his place on the chair next to her bed.

"It is necessary instead" Edmund replied with a smirk, leaning slowly towards her to place a delicate kiss on her forehead "I like to take care of you" he added as he took off his cloak letting it fall back on the backrest of the chair

"Uh uhm .... sure" Y/N said, amusedly tilting her head "Let's say you like to use me as an excuse to take a break from all those paperwork that Peter gives you" she chuckled slowly shaking her head

"Well let's say that I like to combine business with pleasure" Edmund replied with a chuckle, one of the mischievous ones, the kind that didn't promise anything good, the same that had stolen her heart by making her fall madly in love with him

"How are you feeling now?" he asked

"Better" Y/N answered, smiling just as if to reassure him "I rested all morning after Tumnus came to give me the remedy to lower the fever" she explained

"Were you able to eat something?" he asked again, looking at her with apprehension. Y/N smiled softly

"Yes" she replied "Tumnus brought me a hot soup with some toasted bread"

"Thank goodness" Edmund sighed with relief, grabbing her hand slowly, with all the delicacy he was capable of, placing a gentle kiss on her knuckles "It's a real shame that Lucy had to leave with Susan... the Cordial would have been useful" he said absently fiddling with her fingers

"What nonsense" Y/N immediately scolded him, frowning "The Cordial is for more serious things than a seasonal feaver" she added "I'm fine" she resumed then, softening the tone of her voice, gently looking up at him "You have no reason to worry so much" she tried to reassure him by giving him a small smile. Edmund shook his head slowly tightening his grip on her hand "I have more than one valid reason to worry" he replied seriously "The first is that you got sick because of me, because I forced you to ride in the rain the other day when we went out for a walk, and the second one is that I worried so much when they told me you passed out in the library. I felt my heart stopping when I saw you in bed, pale as a ghost .... you almost seemed ..."

"I'm sorry..." Y/N interrupted him, looking at him mortified "I didn't wanted to make you worry so much ..." she added guilty looking down at the blankets

"Don't apologize" Edmund replied, gently grabbing her face in his hands "I love you" he said, swetly looking in her eyes "It's normal that I worry about you" he added before placing a small kiss on her lips.

"You shouldn't be so close to me" Y/N calmly scolded him, moving away first and breaking the magic of that little kiss. "You will get a cold" she reminded him. Edmund shrugged his shoulders "Anything to spend more time with my queen" he chuckled placing another quick kiss on her lips. Y/N shook her head in amusement

"You really are a lost cause" she smiled, gently caressing his cheek

"I know" replied Edmund smiling at her sweetly, losing himself for a moment in the delicacy of her touch

"But now" he resumed, putting his hand behind his back with amusement "If you make room for me next to you - and he showed her a small book with an hard and a little damaged cover, sign that it had been read often, perhaps too often - I'll be more than happy to save you from boredom "

A glance was enough for Y/N to understand, to recognize the book that Edmund was holding in his hand; it was a storybook, the same one that every night, when they were still children and her parents sent her to Narnia to spend the winter, they secretly read together before going to bed, to finally be able to spend some alone time, without Peter, Susan or Lucy.

Slowly moving to the side, she made room for him on the bed. As soon as Edmumd was beside her, with his back comfortably placed against the pillows, Y/N leaned her head against his chest, and so, curled up in his arms, she listened enchanted to his voice giving life to the fairy tales that had made her childhood and that had started their love.

This is not a stand-alone part , so I'd recommend you to read the other parts first .

Warnings : Arranged marriage , changing POV's , time skip , English is not my first language . anything else?

Pairing : Edmund Pevensie x fem!reader , Lucy Pevensie x fem!reader (platonic)

Summary : After an alliance marriage with King Edmund , y/n begins the new chapter of her life only to be welcomed by her worst fears - thunder and lightning . But the thing to be noted was the fearless princess- y/n had a fear as such ..

Age : Edmund is 18 , reader is 17. (Golden age)

Meanwhile.. in the castle..

Peter's POV

"It can't be , Mr.Tumnus !" Peter sounded shocked..

"It is the truth , your honour ." Mr.tumnus spoke solemnly as he saw the couple strolling into the castle happily .. through the window of King Edmund's room .

"Are your sources this strong to be trusted?" Peter questioned as he held the picture in his hand .

"Yes , your honour .. please trust me .. i have no doubts" Tumnus concluded .

"Alright.. get this mess cleaned up .. none of them should know we were here.. especially Edmund ." Peter spoke shortly.. and walked out of Edmund's room .

Third person's POV

She kept walking ahead of Edmund, blushing as well as being happy.. the fact that her life could have happiness..that she could also fall in love with her husband..that they had chances to work ..

Edmund kept following her silently as they made it to their room ..

In the room ..

Y/n entered the room first , followed by Edmund who shut the door behind him . Edmund also made all the cleaners go away ..

Edmund was confused as to why cleaners were in his room at the time for the first place ..

The shutting of the door did cause both of them to get a bit shy .. due to the hormones that were building inside of them ..

"So .. did you like it?" Edmund asked the question while slowly making his way towards y/n who had settled herself on a chair near the balcony ...

"Yeah .. it seems too beautiful to be real .. Edmund" Y/n glanced at him with soft eyes which made Edmund doubt if she was talking about the turn in their relationship or Narnia ... Well both of them didn't know what they were talking about , both hoping it's about the sudden turn in the relationship ..

"Yeah , it does" Edmund agreed , taking a seat opposite to her . A small table in between them with tea and biscuits..

Edmund cleared his throat awkwardly , not knowing what to say ..

"Edmund , mind if I ask you a question?" Y/n asked .

"well depends on the question" Edmund said smiling , with a wink .

Y/n laughed a bit and spoke "What are your interests ?"

"I love to play chess . Swordfighting , horse riding—" before Edmund could continue , y/n gasped

"You know how to play chess ???!!" Y/n seemed very excited and impressed .

"Yeah .. i might add that i win against everyone in this castle !" Edmund tried to impress her even more .. and succeeded in that .

"Holy Aslan , that's amazing, Edmund !!! Would you mind teaching me how to play chess ?" Y/n questioned , excitement and thrill was dancing her eyes .. ofcourse Edmund couldn't deny her request ..

He didn't ask for any servants to bring it out so as to keep the privacy maintained . He got up and opened his cupboard , bought out the gold classic chess set but noticed that it was a bit differently arranged .. compared to when he left it ..

"Y/n , did you take out my chess set yesterday?" Edmund questioned .. even a bit of disarrangement alerted him .

"Not at all... Is something wrong?" Y/n spoke .

Edmund thought of letting this brush off and enjoy the evening with Y/n .

"Not at all" he mimiced her and they laughed ...

Peter's POV

I glanced at the letter from King Dorian .

I'll be visiting Narnia soon ..

He wrote .

King Sanders had a long history of writing 'ill be visiting..' , and it had always meant ill . Nothing good . At all .

Peter was visibly tensed .

"What do you think he's gonna be here for ?" He questioned.

"I can't have any ideas , your majesty" Mr.Tumnus spoke .

"I think he might reveal that y/n is not his real daughter.. and there's technically no alliance between us .." Peter spoke , huffing.

"How can we fall for such a scam?! Mr.Tumnus , i want you to find out what y/n's real family background is. Also , order Lucy to take y/n away from Edmund , we'll have to do her interrogation .. in case she knows anything." He ordered , getting up from his seat and walking out .

Before leaving, he spoke "Make sure nobody knows about y/n's secret and our moves , Mr.Tumnus ."

Part II of Silver

Plot overview: Three years after being crowned King and Queen of Narnia, the newly-wed rulers embark on an adventure over the unknown sea, where rumors of disappearing people and a mysterious green mist have shattered the once-peaceful waters. Only so many other surprises in their wake and difficulties will come for them, their reign, their trust, and their relationship. Thankfully, a couple of familiar faces won't let them face it alone.

Series warnings: female!reader, yet reader *still* has no name other than her alias (the Silver Knight, y'all, keeping it cringe), also queen of narnia for obvious reasons i guess, hehe. canon-typical violence, the fic follows the plot of the third movie (so if you haven't seen it don't come for me), cringy dialogue too, anything else i remember will be specified in each chapter ;)

A/N: you asked for this, and i delivered. hope you enjoy this. also, this moodboard has been in my drafts ever since silver ended. also, when i thought i was done writing, i kinda suffered a whole mental breakdown and decided to start again, so that's why it's taken me a WHOLE YEAR to bring this to u (pls don't hate me).
