• You hadn't been in the neighborhood for long. In fact, you hadn't originally planned to be in the neighborhood at all, instead following a route that surpassed it completely. But all of that quickly changed once a floating hat with the voice of an invisible man greeted you excitedly, apparently very pleaded and surprised to meet someone new on a supply run

• From them on, you had been dragged by the arm onto a strange village; the invisible stranger you'd met turning out to be a rather handsome and good spirited phantom named Wilbur—whom of which wasted no time showing you around

• "Sorry about er basically abducting you by the way. We uh, don't get a lot of visitors, and I wanted to make sure I introduced you to the Pube—I mean Pub before my little brother found you." The hybrid laughed a little, face now visible with the passing of daytime. It was a soft purplish blue color that reminded you of stargazing on a hill

• You just shrugged and adjusted the bag full of belongings of your back uncomfortably before choosing your next words

• "It's not that big of a deal. You're nice enough and it's not like I really had a set destination, so honestly this is better than whatever tree I was gonna spend tonight setting up camp under." You said, being honest with him

• Wilbur seemed to like that answer, once again wrapping an arm around your shoulder and practically dragging you alongside him

• "Come on stranger." He grinned, looking down at your face. "You have lots of new faces to meet!"

• He certantly wasn't lying. You were quickly taken from a dusty forest path to a homey looking village. Which, you noted, had a building floating high up in the air with two elevators leading to it. You barely had time to read the 'Wet' and 'Dry' signs on them before being shoved in the one without water

• You were given a thorough tour of the Pub and all its wonderfully inclusive details. At least, you had been until a blur of yellow and red divebombed your vision

• The air was quickly knocked out of your lungs as you were tackled to the ground, barely able to hear as Wilbur called out in distress at someone

• "Rescued you Wilbah!" A voice grinned from above you. "Big man Tommy to save the day, hah!"

• The weight on your chest was lifted moments after as Wilbur scurried over, lifting whoever had decided to attack you into the air with a glare

• As soon as you were able to stand again, you got a better look at the person who had so violently knocked you to the ground. It was no mistaking that he was Wilburs younger brother that he had mentioned earlier—even if the youngers' golden locks differed from Wilburs' deep chestnut ones

• Safe to say Tommy, as you learned his name to be, got a kick in the shin for his behavior before apologizing and going to shake your hand with such vigor the motion became but a blur

• You liked him immediately

• "You know—" Wilbur said your name with a crooked smile, talking over Tommy's rambling in the background as he quizzed you over everything and anything, "—if you'd like, we have a nice spot right by a friend of mines hut that'd be perfect for a house. I know you said you were traveling, but it couldn't hurt to kick up your feet for a while."

• Maybe it was the charismatic nature of the phantom that had found you, the way Tommy was currently rustling through your bag with a mischievous grin, or the prospect of meeting even more people like them that had you not even hesitating to respond

• "I think I'm gonna like it here, Wilbur." Was all you said, kicking off a new chapter of your life that you couldn't help but want to unearth

Friendly Banter | dream smp x GN!Reader

Request - Could you do some Niki and Techno banter?

Niki

You laid comfortably on your couch reading a book, your feet up on the Coffeys table, as your girlfriend was snuggling next to you.

She laid her head on top of yours letting out a small sigh as she did so.

You wriggled your toes in your sandals.

You heard Niki let out a small giggle. You look over at her cocking your head to the side, like a puppy.

“What?” She looks over at you and giggles once more.

“I never noticed this before,” she paused to laugh once more.

“Your toes are so tiny!” she teased.

You open your mouth unsure on how to react. You hadn’t expected her to say that.

You pucker your lips and narrow your eyes.

“Well,” you paused, "your feet are just big.” You shoot back making her laugh at your remark.

“Yeah but yours are just strangely really small."

You scrunched up your face trying to come up with something else to argue back.

“Your toes were just so cute when they wriggled around ."

“No they aren’t, my feet are beyond the definition of cute!"

She giggled at this.

“Well I think They are.”

You sighed and smiled, “You got a foot fetish or something! Leave my poor feet alone.” you whined.

“I think they are just the right size."

Techno

You trudged through the snowy biome along side Techno. You were freezing cold as it was probably only thirteen degrees out.

You shivered slightly as you only had a light layer of clothing on.

You mentally cursed yourself out due to you rejecting the extra layer of clothing because you thought you could handle the cold.

You and Techno were going to go cause some minor terrorism in the dream smp, as you both do regularly.

You walked out side to check how cold it was, guessing around thirteen or fifteen, you decided you could make it all the way to the dream smp with out a coat or anything.

You walk back inside noticing Techno putting on his cape.

“Do you really need that? I mean we are just headed to the SMP, it isn’t that far."

Techno glanced over at you raising a brow.

“Of course I’ll be wearing this, it’s cold out.” he argued back.

You rolled your eyes, “It’s not that cold. We’ve been through worse."

“Your not wearing anything yourself?” he questioned.

“I’ll be fine, it's not that long to the portal anyways."

Boy were you regretting not wearing anything now. You were positive Techno had noticed you shivering.

“You look a little chilly,” he teased.

Definitely noticed.

You narrowed your eyes and spoke, “I’m fine.”

You were a very stubborn person, you weren’t about to give in that easily.

“Man this cape sure is nice and warm.” He smirked glancing back you at you.

“I know what you're doing here, it's not going to work.” you grumbled angrily at him.

“What ever could you mean? I’m just saying I’m so warm and cozy.”

You scrunched up your face, something you tended to do when frustrated.

A wave a coldness spread quickly through your body making you shiver once more. You knew Techno would tease you relentlessly if you gave in.

Though eventually you did give into the cold and asked for Techno’s cape which he gave over graciously, not before teasing the crap out of you though.

• I'd like to imagine that you'd work as an inspector of sorts—visiting once every other week to check on the place and talk to Schlatt behind closed doors

• You don't spend nearly as much time at the restaurant compaired to if you were a full time employee at the establishment, but you still see enough to feel like you're a part of the chaos in some weird way

• It probably all started on your first visit to the place—when you were grabbed at the wrist by a frantic Charlie just as you stepped through the doors to the diner; afermentioned man screaming (in a very high pitch) at the top of his lungs as he ran from Schlatt chasing after him with you as his human shield. All the while yelling something about how he didn't want to be circumcised again

• That was just your first time meeting them

• Schlatt had apologized to you at first after he had caught up to Charlie and sent him back to the kitchens where he would deal with him later. But after learning that you weren't going to press charges, and honestly found the whole thing kind of funny, he stopped giving a so much of a shit

• "Oh, you're one of those laid back asshole up at the Big Corp? That's nice, that's nice. Business can always recognize business, as I say here at Schlottzkys." He had cackled, popping open a bottle of something from behind his desk to pour in what looked like an alcohol glass

• "With all due respect Mr. Schlatt—"

• "Call me Big Man, toots."

• "—the most business I've seen from you was threatening to circumsize your employees."

• He laughed loudly before changing the topic, still leaving you to wonder what all that had been about to this very day

• Eventually on your second visit back, this time to answer a complaint a customer had sent straight to corporate about a dangerous looking stove, you got to meet both Tommy and Niki in the kitchens

• Tommy was as energetic as a fast food employee could be, which was still overwhelming to say the least

• The first thing he asked you after shaking your hand at the speed of light was if you wanted to see how he cleaned the bathrooms. Only after catching Niki vigorously nodding for you to say no out of the corner of your eye did you politely decline

• Niki was a sweet person in herself, if not very outwardly disturbed. You could see that Schlottzskys had taken its toll on her, and the more you stuck around the longer you wondered if it was the restaurant doing that, Schlatt, or even the customers

• Seriously. Some of the customers you had had the pleasure to meet were downright crazy. One was even dressed up as a milkman carring what he called his 'blood boy' around. The last you saw of him was through a cracked door to Schlatts office. And personally, you didn't want to get involved with whatever that was

• Schlottzskys is filled head to toe with crazy people, questionable morals, and was probably being run by some sort of weird citizen mafia. But the longer you spent ganging around the place, the more you found yourself growing attached to the joint

Strange (Niki)

Another one, this idea came to me from a TikTok the creator @drag0nmistress the video basically is two women going on about their day till the end it was like all in her head or like a dreamso yeah. This is my first time writing a y/n x woman so let me know if I should continue writing y/n x female. Anyways the song on the TikTok was “Strange” by Celeste. So this is a cute and simple story so I hope you like it. So y’all next week for a story.

Waking up to smell fresh bread in the kitchen. Walking up to only hear humming. Seeing the women of my dreams. Wearing pink dress with some floral. Her hair up in a ponytail with her bands and some hair on her face. "Morning Niki." Giving a smile she turned to me. "Oh hello y/n sorry if I happen to wake you up." She put pan on the table. "It's alright Niki I had to wake up anyway for today. To spend time with you." Going over to her with the bread as I tried to touch it only to get my hand hit by her. "These are hot and you can wait y/n." Bringing my hand back I laugh. "Well If I can't eat it yet. Can we at least go for a walk?" All she did was nod. Waking upstairs to put something formal. Something that she likes. Walking down in an hurry to see her waiting looking at the flowers we have both picked. The flowers were slowly dying so the walk was needed. "Let's go shall we?"

Walking around the to past some trees. The colors of everything were sweet and bright. The grass was greener. The flowers on certain trees were blooming. Niki and I were walking side by side with our hands brushing against each other. Till I held her. She started to smile gripping to my hand. We were both talking about many things. Everything she was saying to me. I just memorize her the way she talks. The way she is dedicated to something. Is one of the reason that I like her. She started to point out the flower walking ahead as our hands were still connect. All I did was smile.

We stopped near a tree that she favorited.The reason why she favorited this tree so much it was on a hill honestly I think that why I liked this tree also. But I didn’t tell her. Laying down on the grass. We were cloud watching. We both pointed out different clouds. She picked and elephant in a car. I notice a dragon pushing a baby stroller. Turing my head, she start to put them out for me to see. I started to stare at her She would found the clouds as I just turn my head to stare at her. Sliding my fingers back into her hand. She stop talking feeling my hand hands on her. While I laugh. “Starstruck Niki” I laugh while she push me with her other hand. She brought herself closer to me.

Leaving the tree, walking back to a village buying more ingredients for us to make a cornbread. Hearing the music as we got closer. Niki was trying to buy things well I was focusing on the music. Turning back to Niki with a smile. “Let’s dance?” I asked her as she just look at me then outside to hear the music. “No one even dancing y/n” Looking back i nod, “ well maybe someone needs to start it first for other ti join,” asking her once more, “please Niki?” Bringing up a smile she nods. Bring her out while holding her hand. Pulling her close to me with a smile. We both started to dance. The music kept playing while we dance. Other joined but I hardly notice them. I only noticed Niki. Spinning her around to see her smile watching me. Spinning her back into me holding her close against my body. In the heat of the moment, I kiss her forehead. She was starstruck once again. Slowly smile one more as we both looks at each other once more.

Heading home to end the day, we ate the bread she made the morning with some soup. Everything was nice. Niki had a spare of clothes so she stayed over. Till the end of the night we both walked to a bench near my house. She sat while my head laid on her lap. She was playing with my hair as we both stargaze seeing the dipper. The constellations. The planets. It was amazing. Sad to say this was how the day had to end. Niki looked down at me as I smile back. She started to lean down to kiss me. Time was going slow. As I close my eyes as well.

Falling into a pit of darkness. Shortly waking up, opening my eyes to see no dress. No smell of bread in the morning. No Niki. I looked to the side to see no one there with me. Looking out a window to see the color was dull. Only to realize, I was alone in this cruel world.
