Perfect for me (Max Thunderman x GN!Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Max Thunderman had his eyes on you since your friendship began but ever since your friendship with Phoebe you guys haven't been 'friends' necessarily. When he gets a moment with you, will he let his rivalry with his sister get in between you guys? Part Two: Imperfectly Loved Pronouns: You/Yours They/Them Warnings: None other than fluff to angst Word Count: 6.8k
Phoebe welcomed her friend, you, in with a bright smile and a short hug. “So, I was thinking, movie marathon with tons of snacks, some karaoke, and then we end the night with a sleepover!” The wavy brown haired girl told you, closing the door behind you as you walked in and sat on the couch.
You tapped on your knees with a smile to her, “Sounds great!” you responded, looking around the colorful home before turning your attention back to Phoebe. “I didn’t bring any of my stuff though, I didn’t know we’d be having a sleepover.” You told Phoebe honestly, shrugging your shoulders slightly but Phoebe simply laughed it off. “We can pick your stuff up later, no worries.” She comforted, putting a hand on your shoulder before going to the kitchen to prepare some of  the snacks the two of you would have. Suddenly she let out a rather loud groan, “Darn, I think I left my checklist in my bedroom, I’ll be right back okay?” Phoebe told you, already heading up the steps of her staircase. You yelled out an ‘Okay!’ as you watched her figure retreat upstairs, quickly turning back around and opening your phone to scroll through it in silence.
Footsteps were heard, echoing on the wooden floors behind you. You assumed it was Phoebe who had come back from her bedroom, so you turned around but were met face to face with Max Thunderman, Phoebe's twin brother. “Oh, hey Max.” You greeted, turning back around to sit properly on the couch, continuing with the activity you were doing.
Max slightly narrowed his eyes, “Hey…” He mumbled, going to the kitchen whilst looking at you suspiciously. “What are you doing here?” He asked, noticing the counter filled with tons of snacks. He tilted his head and filled his arms with about half of those snacks, planning to hideout in his lair. You were still looking down at your phone, not necessarily interested in whatever Max was doing. “Sleepover with Phoebe.” You said simply, not even looking up until you heard the rustling from the kitchen. “What are you doing?” You asked, raising your brow and turning off your phone. Max had snacks filling his hands, up to his chin. “Getting food.” He stated obviously, trying to walk from the kitchen to his tunnel that slid into his lair. You saw how Max was almost about to topple over from the amount of food in his hands so you finally stood up, “Are you going into hibernation or something?” You asked him, slowly walking to him as you noticed a few of your favorite snacks in the pile-up. “Yes.” The boy grumbled, trying to walk to his lair.
You shook your head and rolled your eyes, standing in front of him and grabbing the top portion of the snacks he had taken so he could at least see while he was walking. “Lead the way.” You told him, gesturing with your head. He walked only a few feet to a love seat type thing, he opened his tunnel by kicking a button on the wooden loveseat with a yellow cushion and matching pillows. The cushion opened up vertically, exposing a slide of sorts, your mouth was opened wide in shock. Max tossed his grouping of snacks down the slide, holding his hands out for the group you held. When you weren’t handing them to him, he looked up and noticed your shocked expression which caused him to smirk in pride. “You know, if you ever want a tour, I would gladly show you around down there.” He hummed, taking the group of snacks you held, throwing them down the same way he did the others. He then positioned himself to go down the slide, but he didn’t go down yet, he looked at you. “Do you wanna take up that offer now?” He asked, holding his hand out.
You contemplated it for a bit but your thoughts were interrupted by Phoebe coming back down the stairs, “Got the list!” She said happily, making it about halfway down the staircase before noticing you and Max. “Max! Leave them alone, go and be obnoxious somewhere else!” Phoebe sneered with narrowed eyes, walking to the bottom of the staircase to where you stood next to the tunnel. Max rolled his eyes with a smug grin, “Later.” He told you, winking slightly before sliding down to his lair, the entrance way closing.
Phoebe sighed, “Hopefully he won’t come back up here.” She mumbled, leading you back to the couch and turning on the tv. You sat on the couch quietly, smiling gently and shaking your head at the antics of the two siblings. Phoebe walked over to the kitchen where she left the snacks and her expression dropped, “The snacks.” She said bluntly, looking up at you, you turned your head in the direction of the entrance Max just went down into. “Of course.” Phoebe groaned, bringing the rest of the snacks to the living room table. “No worries, we still have plenty.” She reassured, though you didn’t need the reassurance, it was still appreciated.
The sleepover was successful, a night filled with music, movies, eating, and overall fun. You saw Max a few more times in the night, but it was nothing more than shared glances.
The next morning Phoebe and you said your goodbyes. Phoebe pouted, “I wish the night lasted longer.” She sighed, upset you had to go. You laughed, “I’ll sleep over another day.” You reassured, giving her a tight hug to which she returned. Max had entered the kitchen for a moment, walking back to his lair, he looked up to you and saluted a small goodbye, winking once again before going down the slide to his bedroom. You rolled your eyes at his exit and pulled away from the hug with Phoebe with a smile. “I will see you at school, stop sending me off like I’m going to war.” You laughed, scrunching your nose, hand gently holding your friends. Phoebe chuckled and shook her head, “I’ll see you at school tomorrow, be safe on your way home.” She told you and you nodded. “Bye.” You said your final goodbye, leaving the Thunderman household, making your way home.
Over the next few weeks, you had been at the Thunderman household for a good chunk of days during those few weeks. During one of those visits Phoebe had to leave in the middle of it, she told you to just hang out there until she came back from whatever errand she had to run.
You sat quietly, occasionally making small talk with some of the Thunderman family. You fixed Noras bow for her, picked a game for Billy to play, you said ‘Hellos’ to the parents. The only person you hadn’t seen pretty much all day was Max, which was surprising since he usually came up by this time.
You stood up and walked over to his lair entrance, biting your nail as you contemplated opening it. Unbeknownst to you, someone coming up the basement stairs noticed you near the lair entrance and smiled slightly, making their steps quieter. You were so in thought that you were unaware when that person came up behind you. They roughly placed their hands on your shoulders, “Boo!” The person said as you jumped practically ten feet in the air. You turned, clutching your chest, and trying to catch your breath. There was the perpetrator, Max Thundermand. “Max.” You sighed out, still taking deep breaths, calming your beating heart. He hummed, hands behind his back innocently as he tried to stop himself from laughing. “You’re at my entrance.” He told you, raising a brow, head tilting to where you stood. You laughed gently and shook your head, hand lowering from your chest, “I haven’t seen you all day, for all I know you could’ve died down there.” You teased, crossing your arms.
Max nodded, “True, true.” He spoke, looking at you to the entrance, then back to you. “You want to take up that offer of a tour?” He asked, noticing how Phoebe was nowhere in sight. You couldn’t control how you broke out into a smile, nodding quickly. He laughed, pushing the button and opening the hatch, “After you.” He spoke, hand extended to you so you can position yourself. You took his hand, stepping up the two steps before putting both your legs into the tube. You were a little nervous, sure you’ve seen him do this a thousand times but there was still a small pit of anxiousness in the pit of your stomach. Max noticed your hesitance and released your hand, whistling slightly as he stepped down behind you and gave you a push, sending you flying down the slide. He could hear your original screams of fear until they turned in delight, your giggles echoing up the slide to him.
He smiled to himself, getting into position as he grabbed the top of the hatch, “Move out the way, I’m coming down!” He yelled, sliding down, closing the hatch in the process. Blue lights flashed by as he made twists and turns, sliding right down and falling onto his bed, lifting his head and seeing you holding your stomach, laughing on the side of the bed. “Was it fun?” He asked you, scooting to the edge of his bed. You nodded, calming your breaths from laughing and looking around.
You looked around his desks and bookshelves, noticing a few experiments , gadgets, and other things. Max watched as you looked around, a small smile on his features. He leaned forward, hands clasped together, “So, what do you do around school now?” He asked, trying to make conversation. You looked back at him with an unimpressed expression, holding some sort of orb. You hummed as you played with it a bit, he didn’t mind. “You don't have to act like I'm a new person just because I hang out with Phoebe.” You told him, turning back around to put the silver orb back where you found it.
Max looked down, soon looking around his room again, “I know, but, she’s a goody two shoes, she probably rubbed off on you, I haven’t seen you one on one in months.” Max told what he believed to be his ‘former’ friend. You frowned a bit, turning and sitting next to him. “I know, I'm sorry.” You apologized, bumping shoulders with him which caused him to smile a bit. “I’ve actually been busy, me and Phoebe finally got a hangout for that sleepover because my schedule cleared up.” You explained to him, standing back up, looking at his bookshelf area to see if he had anything actually readable. He looked at you as you looked around more. He cleared his throat, bringing your attention to him. “Since your schedule’s free now, I can show you around a ton of other places too.” Max said, putting a hand through his hair, smirking. You rolled your eyes at him but smiled anyway, Oh, can you now?” You asked blandly, putting his books back. He nodded, putting his hand behind him to prop himself up as he leaned back. “I sure can, I know all the best spots.” He bragged to you.
You walked over to him, crossing your arms, “It sounds like you're trying to ask me on a date.” You spoke, tilting your head and he flushed since you caught him. He didn’t change his expression or position, “And if I was?” He asked you, he was met with slight silence. He was a little worried due to that but you finally spoke up, “Maybe you should ask instead of dodging it.” You told him, arms still crossed.
Max was looking up at you since you were standing in front of the bed and he was sitting on his. He smirked, now being the one to roll his eyes at you. “Okay, okay.” He said, holding his hand out in surrender, “Would you like to go on a date with me sometime?” He asked, smiling at you, his cheeks a soft pink, his eyes soft. You smiled back at him, “I would love that.” You respond, ruffling his hair. His eyes widened, genuinely not expecting that response. He looked at you with another smile, this one a little dopier, “Really?” He whispered to you, standing up and meeting your eyes for a bit more proper eye contact. “Really.” You whispered back to him, biting your lip.
Max decided the best place for a date was an abandoned museum in Hiddenville. The objects were covered in dust, no security systems, some of the glass was even broken. That wasn’t why he took you there though, he pulled you up a ladder to the roof, carefully sitting the two of you somewhere stable. You had a beautiful view of Hiddenville, the warmth of the sun on your face and the cool breeze made it all perfect.
After your visit to the abandoned museum you guys made your way back to the Thunderman household, hand in hand. Once you guys returned, Phoebe still hadn’t returned, it had been hours, the sun was practically setting. You and Max sat on the livingroom couch together, Max’s arm around you as you talked about the abandoned building, the sunset, anything you guys saw, everything.
You smiled, looking up at him, him looking down at you since you were leaning on him slightly. “That was fun.” You told him, smiling gently, “I guess you do know the best spots.” You said, admitting that he stuck to his word. Max laughed slightly, “Wasn’t it cool? I knew you’d have fun.” Max told you, rubbing your arms gently with the tips of his fingers. You shivered slightly at the feeling, looking at the table in front of you, but you didn’t pull from his grasp. You inhaled slightly, catching the smells of grass, metal, and a slight whiff of chemicals. None of which was surprising you since you saw his bedroom earlier. “It was really fun, it was amazing.” You told him, “You’re amazing.” You said suddenly, not noticing how you made his gaze soften even more to you.
He took his free hand and played with your hand, “You’re nice to be around, you always are.” He said to you, his voice quieter than it usually was. You looked back up to meet his gaze, “You think so?” You asked, fingers interlocking with his. Max nodded his head, licking his lips slightly, “I can be comfortable around you, that might sound weird.” He spoke, his voice gentle, which you were not used to. You shook your head, enjoying this quiet little moment between the two of you, “No, no.” You reassured, thumb rubbing the back of his hand. “I feel comfortable around you too.” Your comment made the tips of ears turn red and you laughed slightly, taking your free hand and messing with them.
Max shook you off his ear and looked at you blankly but you laughed at his expression, leaning more into him. Max shifted a bit, “Would you like to do things like…this, more often?” He asked you, referring to the current position they were in and the day as a whole. You gave him a toothy grin, “More dates?” You asked innocently and he squeezed your hand gently, chuckling a bit. “Yes, more dates. Would you like to go on more dates more often?” He asked you, and you thought about it. You had done this earlier so he just raised brow, turning your chin to make you meet his eyes once again.
You pursed your lips, “How about this question…” You began, backing out of his grip to face him and talk to him more comfortably. “Would you like to date me and see how that goes?” You asked, the question causing Max to pause, sitting up a bit. His mouth opened a bit in shock, “Yes…” He whispered, but you acted as if you couldn’t hear him. You cupped your ear, leaning towards him, “What was that?” You asked, smiling wide as he pulled you in by your waist. “Yes, I would. I would love that.” He responded, his eyes shining once he met yours eyes. He brought his lips to yours, his soft lips meeting yours, he couldn’t control it when he smiled against your lips. “This is all I need.” He mumbled against your lips.
After a little bit the two of you pulled apart and you sat next to him, the two of you just talking. Soon enough, Phoebe walked through the front door, looking up and seeing you before quickly looking back down and putting her keys in her bag. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t expect that to take so long.” She said, walking as she looked down, “Do you wanna have a sleepover?” She asked, completely stopping in her tracks when she looked up and noticed Max next to you on the couch as you guys talked. The two of you looked back at her, but you had a message lit up on your phone. You frowned, scrunching your nose, “Sorry Phoebe, I gotta get home since it’s late.” You said, standing up and brushing yourself off. Phoebe pouted and hugged you goodbye over the couch, “Okay, be safe on your way home. Maybe next time we can have a sleepover.” She said, you nodding in response, smiling at her sweetly. She waved goodbye, walking upstairs.
You walked to the door, Max seeing you out. He leaned on the doorway, “See you next time?” He asked, his face bright red, but his eyes were dilated. You nodded, smiling at him for the millionth time that day, kissing his cheek gently. “I’ll see you next time.” You said, starting your walk home.
Max closed the door, holding his cheek softly, a lovesick smile on his face. Phoebe rushed down the stairs and glared at him, “Stay away from my friend.” She grumbled to Max, pointing to him menacingly with a glare before running back up the stairs. Max ignored her and went back down to his lair.
You and Max, after establishing a sweet relationship, had been hanging out more. You guys had been going on more dates, breakfast, lunch, dinner. It wasn’t every single day but, it felt like it, not that either of you minded. The two of you didn’t hide your relationship, you just chose not to mention it, it wasn’t either of you guys’s obligations to share the information of your newfound relationship.
Eventually the weeks passed, you hung out with Phoebe, you met with Max, it was a routine. Sure, you hung out with your other friends, but it was mainly the Thundermans
Phoebe had hung out with you occasionally, not as much as before though. She had noticed you saying you couldn’t hang out more and more so she messaged you. She asked you if you were free the upcoming Saturday and you responded with an energetic yes. You and her made plans to meet at Splatburger for lunch to talk and maybe arrange a sleepover the same day, just see where the day takes you guys.
At Splatburger Phoebe sat in a booth, looking around for you as she looked down to her phone, typing out a message. Within the same minute you saw across from her, “Hey there stranger!” You greeted, smiling ear to ear when the girl in front of you looked up. She gave you a toothy grin, “Hey!” She greeted, shimmying her shoulders. “It feels like it’s been forever.” She told you, looking at the tablet and ordering a drink. You hummed in response, nodding as you also ordered a drink, setting the tablet to the side. “You’ve been busy?” Phoebe asked, also setting her tablet to the side. You smiled at her, your eyes shining, “Yeah,I guess so. I’ve been hanging out with friends.” You told her, tilting your head ever so slightly. Phoebe's facial expression kind of dropped at the mention of that, but she didn’t say anything.
The waiter came by, giving the two of you your drinks. “Enjoy your meal.” He said, walking away to clean tables or go to the kitchen, whichever.
You took a sip of your drink, cheeks warming since the drink was so cold. Phoebe was messing with her straw, her expression looked as if she wasn’t having a good time. You knocked on the table slightly, “You okay? You’re zoning out on me.” You asked her, eyebrows furrowed, a small frown on your face. Phoebe snapped out of it and looked at you, contemplating as if she wanted to say something. “What’s wrong?” You questioned, a little worried since she was so quiet.
Phoebe licked her lips and made brief eye contact with you. She inhaled a bit, getting some air before speaking. “I noticed you and Max have been..” She paused, biting her lip to find the right words. “You guys have been hanging out a lot.” She said, finger slightly tapping on the table. You didn’t understand why her question was toned so strangely but you brushed it off, continuing to sip on your drink. “Yeah, he’s fun to hang with.” You said after swallowing, pushing the drink to the side, a small smile on your face as you looked over a bit, thinking about the Thunderman you had hung out with the day before.
Phoebe noticed how you looked and rolled her eyes, groaning. She leaned her head on the back of the booth, “Ugh,” She began, tilting her head forward to look at you properly, “Don't tell me you like him, I’ll barf.” She continued with wide eyes to emphasize her disgust. You looked at her with a raised brow, not saying anything. Phoebe almost choked on her drink, covering her mouth as she properly drank her drink. “Oh my god, is that why you’ve been ditching me?” She asked, fists lightly hitting the table as she tilted her head, mouth open a bit.
You were confused about this entire conversation, you crossed your arms at her accusation. “Ditching you?” You asked, shaking your head, trying to process what she was saying. Phoebe nodded as if it were obvious, “Yeah, you’ve been ditching me.” She said slowly, her mouth spinning into a frown. “Is it to hang out with him?” She asked, a little louder than her previous comment, hands clasped together in front of her onto the table. You dropped your crossed arms, placing them on each side of the seats. “First of all,” You spoke, voice harsher than you meant it to be, causing Phoebe to put her hands in her lap. “I haven’t been ditching you.” You continued on, closing your eyes to take a deep breath. “Second of all, I have friends other than you and Max.” You informed Phoebe, reminding her that you have plenty of other friends who wished to spend time with you.
Phoebe looked away, refusing to look you in your eyes. She blinked, nose twitching slightly, “I see you guys, when you hang out.” She spoke quietly, facing you once more, not looking in your eyes. “The museum, the park, even here!” She continued, listing it out. You tried to get her to look at you, facing yourself in her eyesight. “Okay? Is that really that much of a problem?” You asked honestly, your eyes soft. Phoebe looked in your eyes immediately, practically yelling out, “Yes!” Your eyes were slightly wide, you expected that response, you just didn’t expect her to say it so quickly. “Why?” You asked, breathily, shaking your head in disbelief. “He’s my brother!” She whisper yelled, face slightly irritated that you weren’t getting it. All you could think and say was, “So?”
Phoebe leaned back into the cushions of the booth they sat in. She took a deep breath in, sighing the same one out. She closed her eyes, “I’m sorry.” She mumbled, looking at you once again, with a more apologetic look. “I’m  just worried he’s hanging with you more to get under my skin.” She expressed, taking another sip of her drink, almost as if she didn’t just say that. You paused, biting your lip, eyes searching Phoebe's body language for clarification before resorting to just asking. “What do you mean by that?” You asked, looking down at the ice in your drink. Phoebe lifted her brow, messing with her straw, not looking at you once again. Not like you were looking at her anyways. “I mean that he hasn’t hung out with you until me and you did.” She told you, a frown on her face as she spoke. “You guys being together more is concerning.” She continued on, eyebrows furrowing and mouth cornering to the side. “He would do anything to torment me, he doesn’t care who he hurts along the way.” She finished off, putting her hand up, leaning on it.
Your eye twitched slightly, still looking at the ice swirling in your cup, “Why would you say that?” You whispered, looking up at her. She looked up at you as well, noticing your sad tone. You put your hands up on the table, putting them on top of one another. “Why can’t you just believe he wants to be around me?” You asked, your expression was unreadable to her. Phoebe sucked her teeth, rolling her eyes, “Please, Max has this whole thing where he tries to be ‘edgy’ or ‘evil’.” She spoke, nodding her head along with her words, “He doesn’t have a bone in him that's good.” She continued on taking another sip of her drink. She picked up the tablet to order food and a refill since she was finishing her drink. “I think he does.” You spoke quietly, still looking at her even though she wasn’t looking at you anymore. “I live with him, trust me, he doesn’t. Mom and dad say it’s a phase that will pass.” She kept speaking of him like you didn’t know who he was, like he was a stranger to you that Phoebe was ranting about. You shook your head, “I think that’s a bit much, I don't think he’s evil.” You spoke lowly, confused as to why Phoebe was acting like this. “He likes hanging out with me.” You told her, enunciating each word with narrowed eyes. Phoebe laughed slightly, “Sure…right.” She said, smiling a little, not noticing how her friend was looking at her.
You grabbed your items and stood from the booth, “If you’re just going to keep dogging on Max I think I’d rather pass.” You told her, a blank expression on your face. Phoebe put the tablet down,
“What are you talking about?” She asked, clearly confused, standing up as well. “I’m leaving Phoebe, when you want to be mature, come back to me.” You explained, leaving the booth and the restaurant, leaving Phoebe to stand by herself in Splatburger.
You left Splatburger, texting Max that you wanted to talk to him. He invited you to go over to his place, so you accepted, walking over to his house. You knocked on the door and Nora opened the door, “Hi!” she greeted, waving slightly and letting you in.
You said your hellos to her, walking inside, waving to Billy who waved back to you. “Hey!” He said to you, stepping up the stairs. You walked to the lair, opening the entrance and sliding down, the doorway closing behind you as you landed on Max’s bed like you have multiple times before.
Max was standing, putting a few items together. His ears perked up, hearing your entrance. He turned around and greeted you with a smile, walking to his bed and crawling on it slightly, engulfing you in a hug. Your hardened expression softened as you inhaled his scent, “You smell good.” You mumbled against his shoulder, slightly pouting as you pulled away from him. His eyes shined when he looked at you, “My shampoo does wonders.” He joked, fixing his position so he was just sitting next to you.You smiled gently at him, leaning on him, your mood slightly off, which he noticed. “What’s going on?” He asked you, his bright smile faltering, arm going around your shoulders to hold you close.
You sighed and pulled back, looking down to your hands then back up to his brown eyes. “I was at lunch with Phoebe and…” You paused, hands playing with Max’s blanket that you sat on. He urged you to go on, hands propping himself up as he leaned back slightly. His expression didn’t really tell you much, it was overall neutral. “She was saying some really bad things about you.” You continued, biting the inside of your cheek, looking down sadly. “Saying things like you’re going to hurt me, that you’re with me because you want to torment her.” You continued on, looking up and seeing how his brows furrowed and he was now sitting forward, looking concerned. You waved your hands a bit, “I don’t believe that though!” You reassured him, this comment making him sigh out in relief, holding his chest slightly. “She was just talking really, negatively about you.” You told him, frowning as you shrugged, unsure of how to feel about it all.
Max stood up from his bed and rolled his eyes, sighing. “Of course she was,” He said, completely used to it. “she doesn’t have a good time unless she’s showing her superiority to me.” He sneered, his face a mixture of disgust and anger towards his twin. You looked at him, your eyebrows knitted as you stared at him. “Don’t talk about her like that.” You told him with a frown, disliking that he was now talking about Phoebe. Max turned to you, eyebrows raised, his hand gesturing to you. “You just left lunch because she was talking badly about me!” He spoke in confusion, wondering why he can’t just state how Phoebe acted. “That doesn’t mean I want to hear the same sort of talk about her!” You said in the same tone, eyes wide.
The two of you sat in silence for a moment, neither of you looking at each other. After a little while, after thinking for a moment, you stood up, standing in front of Max. His eyes lit up as he looked into your eyes, searching them and your expression for how you felt right now. You smiled gently, that made him feel comfortable.
You took his hands in yours, “Max, Phoebe is my friend,” You began, the comment making his gaze flicker elsewhere for a moment, “and you are my boyfriend.” You continued on, wanting his eyes to stay on you. He looked back to you, squeezing your hands, “Okay, so… you choose me over her?” He asked, because that’s what he was getting from this. You shook your head which made him even more confused. “I’m saying that because both of you are trying to make me pick sides.” You told him, letting go of one of his hands and placing it on his shoulder. He shook his head, “No we aren’t-” He tried to start but you cut him off, “by speaking bad about each other, trying to make me think less of each one of you. That’s basically making me pick sides, pick who I think is better.” You told him bluntly, frowning. He tried to lightly shake his head but he realized you were right. “You hate when I hang out with her, she hates when I hang out with you. I hate when you guys act like this.” You continued, letting go of his shoulder and his hand, backing away. Max stayed quiet, trying to study you to see your next move. “Since you guys keep putting me in the middle I don't want anything to do with either of you.” You explained, going up his stairs, Max chasing after you. “Wait!” He called out as you walked into the living room past Nora and Billy who were throwing a football around.
You walked out the door without saying goodbye to the two kids, Max trying to get to you, leaving the front door open as he followed you. Nora and Billy stopped playing their game, Billy holding the football as they listened out.
In the end Max couldn’t reach you, you had gotten away. He cursed in his mind, putting his arms over his head, kicking one of the pots they had outside. Max walked back inside his home, rubbing his hand on his face. He turned and closed the door, forehead on the wood of it, his arm raising and his fist resting above his head.
Steps were heard near him, but he made no other movement. “Max?” His little sister's voice called out, this caused him to turn his body to her, arm still leaning on the door. He took a deep breath and put on a small smile. “Yeah Nora? What’s up?” He asked, biting the inside of his cheek, looking at the girl with a rather large bow in her hair. Nora looked at the door and then to Max, looking up at her older brother with a frown, that’s when Max knew she was going to say something about you. “They looked so…” Nora paused, trying to find a word, her brows furrowing, fingers messing with her palms. Max sighed, taking his arm off the door. He brought the back of his hand to quickly wipe the underside of his nose slightly, a simple action many do, but Max did it to muffle the sniffle he let out. “Sad? Upset?” Max gave ideas to the girl to what emotion might’ve been expressed on your features. Noras face was softer now, a frown still present, “Angry.” She told him quietly, the word caused Max to look back at the door. “Yeah, that also makes sense.” He sighed, putting his hands into his pockets. “Why does everybody look at you like that Max?” Nora asked, that question caused him to freeze. He bit his cheek even harder as he looked down, tears burning his eyes, “I usually deserve it.” He mumbled out, walking past his sister and pressing the button to his lair, quickly going down the slide, the hatch closing as his figure disappeared.
Nora watched as Max went down to his bedroom, the hatch closed so she was able to see her second oldest brother, Billy. He stood on the end of the staircase, a worried expression mirrored from Nora to his own face. “He looks..really upset.” Billy said, walking over to Nora, both standing and looking at the hatch. A piece of them hoped you would walk back through the door, or that Max would come back upstairs. Neither happened. Noras eyes shifted to Billy, “I think he was about to cry.” She told him, and the older boy looked at her with sad eyes, his lips downturned. Both of them showed pure concern for their older brother, not knowing what to do.
The rest of the day was passing and the sun had set in Hiddenville. Barb, the mother of the household, and Hank, the father, had been setting the table for dinner and calling each of their kids down to eat. Nora and Billy had sat at the table, and Phoebe was walking down the stairs to go eat. Brab stopped her before she sat down, “Phoebe, honey, get your brother and tell him dinner is ready.” She told her daughter, taking a seat and passing around some bread rolls to the youngest. Phoebe's eyes narrowed as her neutral expression contorted to one of annoyance, “Why do I have to do it? Besides, he never likes eating with us anyways.” She said simply, rolling her eyes as she continued walking to the table. Barb gave Phoebe a look, raising a brow and sticking her tongue into her cheek, “Phoebe Thunderman, go get your brother for dinner. Now.” Barb ordered, daring Phoebe to try to speak against it. The girl didn’t even attempt, she held her arms up in surrender before going down the stairs to the basement.
She was clearly annoyed with the fact she had to be the one to get Max for dinner, or the fact they had to get him at all. She opened the door and noticed it was dark, the only thing lighting up the room was the blue LED lights around the ceiling, some on the desks he had around, and in his slide. Phoebe looked around and saw Max’s figure hunched over the edge of his bed, the side furthest from the door and turned away from the doorway as well. He was looking down at something, for all Phoebe knew he could be working on something to prove how ‘evil’ he was, like usual. She knocked on the wall to make him aware of her presence, “Max, Dinner.” She said bluntly, but received no sort of response. Due to that she snapped her fingers at him, “Hello? Dinner, upstairs, come on.” She stated, rolling her eyes and dropping her hand once he didn’t respond, again. “Whatever.” She said, turning to go upstairs until she heard a sob escape Max. She turned back to face him, not moving further into the room. “Max?” She asked, softer than usual.
Max was on the edge of his bed scrolling through his phone, looking at the messages he had been sending to you all day that were left undelivered.
He couldn’t contain his sobs, he started crying the moment he got back into his lair, and he was finding it really hard to stop. “They were perfect for me, Phoebe.” He muttered out, “They were perfect, they are perfect.” Max whispered, eyes glossed over as he gently sniffled. “I like them so much, I…” He gasped out, hand to his nose to stop himself from breaking into uncontrollable sobs in front of Phoebe. “I love them.” He spoke, his voice cracking as he tossed his phone to the side, putting his face in his hands. “I loved them so much that I wasn’t thinking about anything or anyone else, just them.” He continued, his voice was raspy, scratchy. Phoebe's eyes widened, she was blinking, lost in his words. “Were you guys?” She asked, not finishing her thought, closing her mouth once she heard his sniffles start up again. He wiped his tears, clearing his throat, “You ruined the one good thing I had.” Max stated, blinking back more tears.
Phoebe stood quietly, the statement caused her to blink slightly in confusion. She didn’t know how to feel at the display in front of her, he’s never talked so openly about his feelings with her.
Max sighed out, messing with his fingers in his lap. “The one person who didn’t try to change me and actually liked me, actually listened to me and they’re gone.” He continued on, looking to the ceiling. “Max you…” Phoebe started but paused, trying to find the right words, “They were my friend Max.” She mumbled, kicking the ground. Max turned to her quickly, his eyes were red and puffy, he looked terrible, “They were my everything Phoebe!” He yelled with a glare, before hiccuping a sob. “They were everything to me!” He said, much quieter, his voice hoarse so it didn’t get any louder. Phoebe could see his eyes glossing with tears, like they would pour any second. She looked down to the floor, she didn’t know why she couldn’t look at him. “You talk about them as if they can’t be friends with you and be with me at the same time, that is exactly why they broke up with me!” He yelled, pointing to his phone that showed his lines of messages to you that were left undelivered due to you blocking him. He put his hands on his temples. “God, and I thought…” He started, choking up slightly, he sniffled harshly, clearing and calming himself for a moment. He placed his hands down, looking at her. “Thank you Phoebe.” He suddenly said, a frown on his lips. “For what?” Phoebe asked, her voice quiet as she slightly looked up at him, they made eye contact. He nodded slightly as he spoke, “For showing me which one of us was evil. Because you really proved that it’s not me.”
Phoebe was hugging herself, tears brimming her eyes. She covered her mouth, her face covered in shock. She tried to speak, “I’m-” She was cut off by Max turning back around, “Just go, I’m not hungry.” He mumbled to her. “Max-” “Get out Phoebe!”
She rushed back up the stairs, the family all looking at her, expecting Max to be following her. Phoebe bit her lip, blinking back tears, looking away from them, “Max isn’t hungry, I’m not either.” She said, running up the stairs to her room.
Barb and Hank looked at each other and sighed, shaking their heads at their two eldest children. Billy and Nora on the other hand, were even more worried than they had been earlier.

"That's ridiculous, Phoebe. Max and I are not in a relationship together." Y/N said.
"Oh, really? I caught you and Max sleeping in bed together. Also, why was Colosso in the middle of you guys?"
"Because he was jealous and wouldn't let me cuddle with Max."
"Ah ha! So you admit it?"

Pairing: Beck Oliver x Afab!Reader
Fandom: Victorious (Nickelodeon)
Summary: You’re poorer than the average student at Hollywood Arts. Beck Oliver takes notice.
Warnings: Cursing, Smut
Tumblr media
*******
Beck always noticed you. He noticed that whenever an extra-curricular activity required out-of-pocket spending, you opted out. He noticed you only had three t-shirts that you switched out with the same pair of jeans every day. He especially noticed those dark circles under your eyes that never seemed to go away.
He decided to do something about it one day while everyone was finishing up their lunches and heading back to class. Beck pulled you aside. “Hey,” he started.
    “Hey.”
Beck asked, “Do you want to hang out after school today?”
The question wasn’t completely out of left field. You and Beck would hang out all the time. Only at his trailer, though. Beck had never been to your place.
“Sure,” you answered him with a smile.
He nodded. “Great. Maybe we could go to the mall or something?”
You hesitated. “Uh...Sorry, I can’t. I’m, um, a little low on funds at the moment. Maybe some other ti--”
Beck was quick to offer, “Don’t worry, I got you covered.”
You shook your head. “No, Beck. I don’t want to worry about paying you back--”
“Don’t worry about that either, okay? Just come to the mall, and have a good time.”
You and Beck stared at each other for a moment while you bit your lip, deliberating. “Okay,” you finally replied. “Now, come on. We’re going to be late for History.”
After school that day, Beck drove you to the mall. You guys were there for hours. Despite how long you were there for you, you only got two more t-shirts, and two more pairs of jeans. Beck had to practically beg to buy them for you, too. He didn’t mind. Any time Beck spent with you was fun, no matter what you were doing.
You two left about an hour before the mall closed.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to drive you home? It’s getting late,” Beck pointed out, concerned.
“I know,” you shrugged, “But my house isn’t that far from here, and I like walking anyway, so...Thank you.”
“No problem.” Beck thought that was the end of it, so he started meandering back to his car.
    “I mean it, Beck.”
He heard that you were walking back up to him, so Beck turned around.
You leaned forward and kissed his cheek. “Thank you,” you told him again before walking off in your own direction.
Beck didn’t feel great about what he did next. Was it considered stalking if you truly cared about the person and were just making sure they were okay? Probably. Beck followed you to a more run-down part of town. He saw you go into an old, abandoned shop with boarded up windows.
Beck slammed his truck into park, hopped out, and ran in after you.
    “Y/n?”
He saw that you nearly jumped out of your skinned when you heard him. “Beck?! What the hell are you doing here?”
He turned the question back onto you. “What the hell are you doing here? Y/n, is this where you live?”
    “No...” You were obviously lying.
    “Y/n!” Beck pushed.
“Okay! I’m sorry. Yes, I live here,” you confirmed. “My parents ditched me a while back, and I didn’t want to go into the foster system, so...” You gestured around you.
Beck took a few steps forward. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Because I didn’t want you to think I was this poor, dirty kid who’s only good for anything because they got a scholarship to Hollywood Arts,” you answered, tears forming in your eyes.
Beck took your hand. “Hey, I could never think that. You’re such a good person, Y/n...Come stay with me.” Beck didn’t know he was going to say that, but he stood by it.
“What? No. I can’t ask you to--”
“Then at least stay with me tonight,” begged Beck, “I can’t stand the thought of leaving you here.”
The tears began to roll down your cheeks as you started to sob. You took the one step necessary to hug Beck.
He gladly took you in his arms.
So, you packed a bag and headed to Beck’s trailer for the night.
When you got there, you stood awkwardly in the corner while Beck made the bed for you. He then started to put a couple blankets and pillows on the floor for himself.
“Beck, I’m not going to take your bed from you,” you insisted.
After a little bit of arguing, you and Beck settled into bed together. He turned the lights out.
“I can’t thank you enough for doing this for me,” you pressed.
He said these next words like they were nothing. “It’s not a problem. I’d do anything for you.”
    “Why?” you whispered.
Beck thought a moment before responding, “Isn’t it obvious?” He was sure you could hear his heart, it was beating so loud.
    Suddenly, you were leaning in.
Before Beck could even think, your lips were on his.
Beck slowly moved his lips with yours. He put a hand on your cheek, and one of your hands ended up in his hair. He moaned. He found he loved it when you played with his hair.
Things were getting more heated. Beck rolled on top of you without even realizing it.
Then, you reached down to tug on the waist band of his shorts, and Beck was sure he felt all the blood in his body rush to his dick.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.” Beck grabbed both your hands and dragged them up to where he could see them. “Are you sure about this?” he asked you.
“Yes. Come on. I want you inside me.” You pulled Beck in for another kiss.
He moaned at your words, and this kiss. Beck then helped you take off your own shirt before taking off his own. The two of you then kicked off your pants and underwear to get yourselves completely naked for each other.
“Oh, fuck. You’re so wet,” Beck cursed, coating his cock in your juices. “Are you ready?”
“Please baby.” You were gazing at him through half-lidded eyes.
Beck almost chocked on his own spit after hearing you say that to him. He pushed inside you, moaning with you as he went. Beck had to look away from you because he swore if he was looking at you while you were making him feel that good, he would’ve cum then and there.
Once he had sunk all the way into you, Beck started to pull out and thrust back in. This began a whole new series of moans from both you and him.
Beck had his hands planted on either side of your head, and your head was tossed back as you moaned each time he entered you.
Suddenly, you grabbed onto his hips. “Beck...!”
“I know, I’m close too,” he assured you before speeding up his thrusts.
Your moans only increased in pitch each time Beck moved, until finally, you shouted as you reached your climax.
With you tightening around him, Beck only needed a couple more thrusts before he was cumming right along with you.
After, Beck collapsed next to you, and the two of you caught your breaths among your tangled limbs.
Beck turned his nose into your cheek. “Stay with me.” It was clear he meant longer than that night.
You nodded, “Okay,” then turned to face him, only to capture his lips again.

Summary - Reader meets Spike for the first time

Masterlist
“Y/N!” She heard Leo scream out of her phone, as soon as she answered it.
“Hello to you too, Leo.” She replied back.
“Can you come to our house? The lab to be exact.” She could hear banging in the background.
She narrowed her eyebrows, “why?”
“Well, Adam made Chase angry and Spike decided to make an appearance.”
The girl let out a sigh, of course. “Where’s Davenport?”
“Out of town.” She could hear Adam scream in the distance.
“Tasha too?”
“Yep. Are you coming?”
“Yes, I’m headed there now.”
“Good. Hurryy-” He hung up after screaming.
The girl walked the street to the Davenports, only 10 minutes away. Arriving, everything looked normal from the outside.
She walked into the house, seeing Bree on her phone on the couch, Adam in the hallway, looking out of breath, and Leo running into the living room.
“Thank God! He's in the basement.”
Y/N crossed her arms, “what’s in this for me?”
“Uh- Chase will do your homework.”
“We already do our homework together.”
“Oh.” Leo looked defeated, “I’ll cover for Chase next time y’all want to stay out past curfew.”
“Hm.. ok.” She shrugged, heading towards the elevator.
Going down towards the basement, she couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous. She’s heard of Spike, but never actually met him. She trusts Chase though, and according to Leo she could do it.
The elevators open and she’s greeted with silence. Walking through the doors, she hears a loud bang, causing her to jump.
She could see lab equipment all over the floor, some in pieces, others still salvageable. Spike was standing in front of the tubes, looking mad.
“Hey there, pretty lady,” he smirked, “what’s your name?”
Y/N crossed her arms, “Y/N.”
“Pretty name for a pretty girl. I’m Spike, but you can call me whatever you want.
She huffed. He was annoying, to say the least. “Well, Spike,” she jumped up onto a counter, swinging her legs. “What do you wanna do?”
“Other than you?” He continued to smirk, causing her to roll her eyes. “I want to destroy this place.”
“Ok then.” She slowly pushed a lamp off the counter she was sitting on. Keeping eye contact with Spike the entire time.
His eyebrows rose, he slowly walked towards his left, towards Davenport's inventions. Copying what the girl did, he slowly pushed one off, causing it to break in half.
The girl hopped off the counter, keeping eye contact, she walked towards the middle of the lab, taking her arms and sweeping everything off the table.
Back in the living room, Adam, Bree, and Leo were watching everything on Eddie's screen.
Leo drug his hands down his face, “what is she doing? She’s supposed to stop him from destroying the lab, not help mess it up.”
Bree shrugged, “it’s working.”
Looking back at the screen, they could see the smiles on both their faces. They were causing havoc, but were happy about it.
Now they stood face to face, about five inches apart. “If they kiss, I’ll throw up.” Leo gagged, walking over towards the couch.
Y/N put her forehead on Spikes, looking him in the eyes. “You happier now?”
He laughed, “yeah.” He pulled her in and kissed her lips. The girl slowly kissed back, putting her hands on the back of his neck.
Pulling back after a couple of seconds, she realized his hands were on her waist. “Chase?”
“It’s me.” She pulled him into her, hugging him tight.
He slowly pulled away, looking around at the damage. “Did I do this?”
“Not all of it.” She winced.
Chase let out a smile, pulling her into another kiss.
“Is it clear?” They hear Leo yell from the hallway.
They laugh as they let go of each other. “We’re good.” She called back.
Leo, Bree, and Adam walk into the lab, looking around at the disaster. Adam and Leo walk towards Chase, while Bree walks towards Y/N.
Bree bumps shoulders with her, “someone had fun.” She teased.
Y/N gasped, “you were watching?” Bree laughed and nodded.
Chase wrapped his arms around YN, “now I’ve got to see this video.”

HIII omg youre like the only active person writing for Henry Danger and i would like to request dating headcanons with Henry!! (x female reader please!)
A/N- omg no fr it makes me so upset that there's so little fanfics (especially good ones💀) for the danger verse😭
CW- ngl these are kinda halfassed and writen on like 3 hours of sleep, not proof read (only spell checked), physical touch, the L bomb, angst, death, and suggestive if you do the squintiest squint, thats it??
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
❥ his love language is physical touch and words of affirmation. fight me.
❥ hes gives kinda golden retriever bf vibes, but not like overly or whatever yk??
❥i feel like for your first date, he might want to try hard and do something nice or whatever, especially if you guys weren't friends before hand, but he prefers to just stay home with you and hang out.
❥ i feel like he said 'i love you' first tbh.
you were in (yet another) life or death situation, and he was like kinda panicking. he was getting annoyed with how slow shwoz was working to try and save you or whatever, and he started ranting and somewhere in the rant he ended up saying he loves to, however you heard him say it.
once you were very much so alive and ok, you said it back to him.
❥you'll never miss the chance to sleepover at henrys house. ever. even if you guys have had an argument that same day, or the day before. then however, instead of sleeping in the same bed as him, you'll sleep on the couch that up in the corner of his room.
❥ at first piper definitely tells you that you can do better 💀
❥ you know about his past minor loyalty issues, but he quickly gains absolutely all of your trust once he finds out that you were overthinking it.
❥jasper lowkey be your hype man ngl
❥i wouldn't necessarily say that gift giving is one of his love languages, but if its yours or you want something, hell have absolutely no issue in getting you whatever it is.
❥ when you guys first started dating, you would sneak through his window at night all the time, or after school. one time tho, henrys dad ended up catching you. surprisingly tho, he wasent really upset. he was just like "omg this is awesome this is like the most 'rebellious' teenage activity we've ever gotten out of him" and after stifly waving at you he just walked away.
❥ henry stutters alot when you make him nervous. (which by the way is quite easy to do)
❥ he pays attention to the little stuff just as much as you do tbh.
❥ i feel like he'd make forts with you 😭 he likes making them at night tho, cause then they have less of a chance of getting ruined by his sister. plus, then you guys can go to sleep in them.
❥ catches your hand from a high five so you end up holding hands.
❥ whenever he get jealous, for the most part hes chill. he knows you'll be good on your own, but hell keep a close eye out just incase.
❥ hes pretty protective tho. once again, he knows you can handle yourself, but sometimes people are so rude to you and it makes him mad. however, he tries to keep his composure for everyone sake, and embarrassment.
❥ i feel like hed want to play with your hair?? like you guys would be laying so your back was facing him, and you just feel him start to play with your hair. you could tell he started to attempt to braid it. "henry stop you're gonna make it all tangled" "you want me to make it all tangled?"

...
“This isn’t exactly how I expected Pizza Thursday to go!” Leo exclaimed as he got into a battle stance, the pizza--monster--yokai--thing roaring, mushrooms and olives flying out its mouth
“Yeah, well I don’t think everyone expects a mutant pizza monster to attack them on their weekly outing,” Donnie sighed, flipping down his goggles as he pressed a button on his staff, two jets appearing at the ends.
“It’s alright. This guy doesn’t seem too tough. We’ll bake him and get back to Pizza Thursday before we kn--MIKEY!! STOP EATING THE MONSTER!” Raph’s eyes went wide as he caught sight of his youngest brother.
The pizza-yokai cocked a bell-pepper eyebrow, looking down at it’s foot, only to let out a horrified shout at the sight of Mikey nibbling on his ankle.
“Whraf can I sayph? Hessh sawwr goowd!” Mikey smiled with a full mouth, disregarding his brother and continuing to chow down.
“Gross, man,” Leo grimaced, shuddering at the sight as he cringed away from the scene.
Donnie sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “’Angelo, if you’re gonna eat him, at least talk without your mouth full.”
“ENOUGH!” The yokai roared, flinging Mikey off his ankle and into Donnie, the two crashing into a window.
“Guys!” Raph exclaimed, snapping his head over to the window, worriedly.
Two shaky thumbs up slowly raised from behind the now shattered window, and Raph let out a sigh of relief.
“Oh, you’re in for it now,” Leo spat, his usual shit-eating grin replaced with an icy glare.
“Leo, wait! Don’t r--.” But the sound of a closing portal cut Raph off, making him groan in frustration.
“Rush in.”
Leo appeared in mid-air, right in front of the monster, and sliced off the olives it used for eyes, chopping off its weird crust feet once he landed on the ground.
“Guess you could say I really...sliced things up,” his smirk returned as he proudly stood up, his back to the yokai.
The thing, now blind and footless, let out a blood-curdling roar, swinging and flailing in every direction like a wild animal.
“Leo, behind you!” Raph, Don, and Mikey warned in unison, Leo not turning around fast enough.
The monster’s cheese arm sent Leo flying head first towards a brick wall.
“LEO!” his brother’s frantically shouted, trying to make it to the wall before he collided.
“Nope, nope nope!” Leo quickly said, creating a portal in front of himself just in the nick of time.
Now, instead of having his brains splattered on a wall, he was now strewn over a whole bunch of soft garbage bags.
He let out a sigh of relief, tiredly letting his head lay limp.
‘Never thought I’d be so thankful for trash.’
But as his angle changed, he was able to view the ledge of a rooftop, what he saw making his heart stop dead in it’s tracks.
It felt as if all the world’s distractions were sucked out, horns, sirens, the squeaking of rats, all to let this moment stand alone.
Sitting on the ledge was the most jaw-dropping girl Leo had ever seen.
Her hair, her eyes, skin. Hell, it had looked like she had been dozing off. But her half-lidded smile at the stars made his heart start up again, now thumping twice as fast.
Leo quickly rubbed his eyes, just to be sure he wasn’t seeing things.
He hit his head pretty hard.
But she was still there, looking down at him, actually. She looked concerned.
Wait, was she talking?
“Huh?” Leo groggily asked, shaking himself out of his reverie as he focused on what she was saying
“I asked if you were you alright? You crashed pretty hard,” you called from above, your voice smooth and silky.
Practically music.
“Oh, yeah! I’m okay! Right as reign!” Leo smiled, quickly changing his sprawled out position to a relaxed one, mentally scolding himself once he realized what he said.
‘Right as reign? You are such an idiot.’
A kind smile quirked on your lips. “That still sounded bad. I’m gonna come down,” you squinted, trying to make out the figure below.
Leo frantically got up, dusting off banana peels and stray apple cores as he drew his swords.
He had to get out of there and fast.
There was no way she could see him. She’d probably be grossed out at the fact he was a turtle-guy.
Don’t get him wrong, he wanted to do nothing else but stay and talk to the super-model before him.
But being a mutant isn’t exactly the best conversation starter.
You carefully stood up, wary of you balance as you planted a foot right on the ledge.
But, unluckily, the brick fell out, causing you to free fall from the top of the roof.
You let out a terrified yelp, and without a beat, Leo was already in the air, catching you and pulling you tightly against his plastron.
You curiously felt at his plastron, making the poor turtle turn dark red, before opening your eyes, going wide at the sight of him.
In that moment, your stomach dropped to your feet.
The portal that he just jumped out of was no never mind right now, you were more concerned with him.
Even with the turtle-y parts, you still found this man incredibly handsome. Shit, if anything, the turtle-y bits might’ve assisted in that department.
“Whoa, careful there,” Leo smiled, safely landing on the ground with the two of you still in tact.
“Wouldn’t want you falling for me.”
You smiled as Leo put you down, a soft laugh leaving your lips that made him practically melt.
“Are you alri--.”
You quickly wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him into a tight hug, giving him a quick squeeze.
“Thank you for catching me. I’d probably be dead if you didn’t,” you sighed, the recent events now sinking in.
Leo was thanking the stars that hugs didn’t let you see the other person, because on the other side, he was blushing like a maniac.
“No problem,” he, surprisingly, managed to say without a voice-crack. “What were you--uh--what were you doing on the ledge, anyway?”
The two of you pulled away, and you awkwardly scratched the back of your neck, hoping you didn’t overstep anything with the hug.
“Oh, I just like to sit there and think. The view helps me really focus,” you sheepishly answered, looking up at him through your lashes, the height difference now very clear.
“I’m just glad you were here to catch me.”
He smiled a bashful smile, avoiding eye contact with you at all costs. “It was no biggie.”
You smiled, thoughtlessly checking your watch to see that it was way past midnight.
“Shit. It’s past my curfew. I gotta go,” you sadly sighed, pointing back to your building.
Leo pouted.
You were going? Already? But he had just met you.
“Will I see you again?” he asked, a little more desperate than he wanted.
You grinned, shooting him a nod. “Of course. I got too many questions to not see you again.”
You whipped out your phone, pulling up the contacts app. “Here,” you handed it to him, “Type in your cell so we can text.”
His smile stretched from ear to ear as he carefully took your phone, punching in his number and handing it back to you.
You took the phone back and threw an arm around his shoulder, pulling him in for a selfie and taking it in one motion, the poor turtle blurry and blushing.
“There,” you quietly snickered, making the unprepared photo his profile picture. “All set.”
You turned to the turtle, giving him a regal curtsy. “Until we meet again, good sir.”
Leo smirked, playing along and bowing. “Until we meet again, madame.”
And with that, you flashed him one more smile before stuffing your hands in your pockets, walking around the alley corner and right into your complex.
Once Leo was completely sure you were out of ear-shot, he sighed, slumping against the alley wall.
‘That....was amazing.’
He whipped out his phone, his heart wanting to text you right away, but his head knew it was too soon, scraping the idea.
But what he did see, was 15 missed texts from Donnie, 6 from Mikey, and 146 from Raph.
‘Oh, I am so dead.’

Tumblr media
Panic attack
Jade west x fem!reader
Warnings: hurt/comfort, panic attacks, bullies, Jade being a soft protective girlfriend, talks of violence
You were at your locker sorting through some of your things when you heard a couple of footsteps behind you. When you turned around you saw that it was Ashley and her two friends beside her. Ashley has been bullying you since kindergarten and you never understood why. You were hoping she would just go away, no one knows you are dating Jade west. Jade asked you to be her girlfriend about two months ago and the rest is history. It’s not that y’all aren’t affectionate in front of people, they just don’t seem to pay attention.
“Hey. Four eyes! Look at me when I’m talking to you.” Ashley yelled as she grabbed your shoulder and yanked you around so you are facing her. “W-what do you want a-Ashley.” You whimpered out as her friends smirked at Ashley’s actions and your response. “Oh nothing. I just like tormenting you all the time.” She smirked evilly at me while her friends laughed along. Your heart started to beat faster and you felt your breath gone shallow. Ashley grabbed the front of my shirt and slapped me so hard that she knocked off my glasses.
A few seconds later and Ashley was pulled off of me and her friends were laying on the ground groaning. Jade pushed her against the lockers and looked dead into her soul. “If you ever touch, go near, BREATHE her air again. I will take my scissors and take your eyeballs out slowly while I rip off your limbs.” She threatened to Ashley in her low scary voice as Ashley nodded her head in rapid speed. Jade smirked and slammed her head against the lockers one more time for good measure and let her go. Ashley and her friends scurried off pissing their pace as Jade put her focus back on me and she frowned.
She didn’t say anything but have a sad look on her face as she gently cups your cheeks in her hands and inspected your face. She then realized you were having a panic attack and sat you down on the floor as she kneels in front of you. “Hey hey baby breath. I’m right here. It’s okay angel.” Jade said softly as she takes your hand and puts it on her heart while her other hand goes on top of your chest where your heart is. “What’s five things you can see babygirl.” Jade asked as you tried to look around you. “I-I see you…the lockers…I-I see a water fountain…I-I see p-people walking around..a-and I s-see the front doors o-of the s-school.” You said breathlessly.
“Good girl. Now. What’s four things you can touch?” Jade said and you gently put your other hand on top of the floor. “The floor…you…my face…my clothes…a-and your clothes.” You breathed out as your heart started to beat normally now. “Okay now three things you can hear.” She said as you closed your eyes and focuses your attention on what you could hear. “I can h-hear me breathing…I can hear you talks and o-other people talking.” You stuttered out as you opened your eyes to look back at your girlfriend. “What’s two things you can smell?” She asked and you sniffled a bit. “I can smell the bad cafeteria food and I can smell your minty gum.” You said with a small smile as your girlfriend laughed loudly. “Good baby good. Now this is the last one okay? What’s one thing you can taste?” She asked.
You decided to be smart about it and hopefully make your girlfriend laugh. “My salvia.” You said bluntly and Jade rolled her eyes at you while having a small smile plastered on her face which made you giggle. She realized you didn’t have your glasses on and immediately looks on the ground for them. She spotted them a few inches away from y’all and bends down and grabs them. She gently puts them on your face and you reach up to fix them. “Thank you…for helping me…” you said quietly to your girlfriend as she keeps her hands on your cheeks, softly rubbing them with her thumb. “Anytime babygirl. If they ever mess with you again or if anyone else tries to, you let me know okay?” Jade said softly as she looks deep into your eyes which made your knees weak.
You nod in understanding and you hug her tight which catches her off guard for a second but hugs you back even tighter when she gets out of it. “Now. Let’s get out of this hell hole. I want some sushi.” She stated as she slings her arm around your shoulder, leading y’all to her car outside. “And yes I’ll stop by to get you some chicken tenders and fries.” She bluntly stated which made your face light up in happiness. You couldn’t ask for a better girlfriend.

hello! can i request a max thunderman fic where he falls in love with a girl who seems like a goody two shoes but can be casually manipulative in a way nobody notices? thank you!
Sweet Deception (Max Thuderman x Fem!Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Max doesn't like the reader because she's similar to Phoebe. A goody two shoes, follows the rules, never breaks curfew. His locker is unfortunately next to hers and he has a few classes with the reader so he hears snippets of her conversations. These conversations peak his interest, not because of the subject, but because of how she responds within them. You intrigue him. Pronouns: She/Her, You/Yours Warnings: Manipulative words, manipulation tactics. Word Count: 2.9k A/N: Sorry that this took a week lol, I literally did everything but write this TvT. I think this is casually manipulative, I had to research subtle manipulation. Also, I focused more on the manipulation aspect so he isn't like, head over heels in love with her. I hope that's okay.
Max Thunderman walked up the stairs of his lair in the basement, making his way to the kitchen. When he looked over he saw Phoebe and you, sitting and watching tv. The two of you heard his footsteps and turned to face him. His face contorted in disgust at how in sync the two girls facing him were, “Ugh.” He grunted, rolling his eyes and walking to the kitchen area.
Phoebe crinkled her brows as she crossed her arms, “What are you grunting about?” She asked him, not moving from her spot, you looking over as well, letting out an inaudible sigh. Max grabbed a drink from the fridge and smiled sarcastically at her, “When I see you and your practical carbon copy,” He spoke, leaning his back on the kitchen island, “I find the need to vomit.” He told her, nodding his head with the scrunch of his nose. Phoebe stuck her tongue out to him childishly, Max doing the same and hopping up the steps and kicking the button to his lair.
You bit the inside of your cheek, adjusting yourself on the couch. “Phoebe,” You said her name, causing her to turn back to you. “I actually have other things to do today, so if we aren’t doing anything I’m just gonna go.” You told her, standing up. The girl stood and awkwardly smiled, nodding, “Yeah! Of course, sorry.” She said apologetically, rubbing the back of her neck. She opened the door for you and you said your goodbyes, giving her a small hug and walking away, typing on your phone.
Phoebe closed the front door and breathed out a puff of air, causing her hair to move out of her face. Max still stood on the platform, his lair door open as he looked at the doorway where Phoebe stood with an expression Phoebe couldn’t understand. When the girl looked to her twin brother she walked a little closer, contemplating even asking the question she wanted to ask. The quirking up of his eyebrow caused her to just shake her head to herself, “Max, do you think I’m boring?” She asked him, brushing her hair out of her face. Max stayed standing on the platform as he thought about it, bottled drink in his hand. He tilted his head a bit, “Yeah.” He shrugged, sliding down to his lair, the door closing and leaving Phoebe with an annoyed expression. She poked the inside of her cheek with her tongue, “Of course.” She mumbled to herself blankly, dropping her hands to her sides as she walked up the stairs to her room.
The very next day at Hiddenville High, Max hoped he had gotten to school early enough to be able to miss you later on going to your locker. Your locker was right next to his and he didn’t enjoy the people he had the displeasure of meeting anywhere near his locker. He reached the locker with a relieved smile, you weren’t there, you must not be at school yet. He put in his combination, shuffling through the small space for a few specific items.
He was enjoying the silence until you walked up with your perky blonde friend Cherry Seinfeld, your expression was fairly neutral but Cherrys had her typical bright smile. When you reached your locker, Max wanted to bang his head into his own, not wanting to hear Cherrys high pitched laugh. This day though, Cherry wasn’t laughing, he slightly tuned into you guys’s conversation.
Cherrys hair bounced with her steps, her hands behind her back, “Did you remember to bring the folder of ideas?” She asked, occasionally looking into your locker, believing you were going to pull it out. You stopped shuffling around in your locker as you turned to her, blinking your eyes. “I didn’t know you needed it.” You told her, tilting your head as your brows knitted together. The blonde's smile dropped a bit as her hands landed to her sides, “I asked you to bring it today, last week.” She reminded you, moving her head with her words. You shook your head, turning back to your locker and grabbing a journal. You hummed to her comment, “You should’ve reminded me yesterday if it was so important for today.” You told her, moving a few magnets on the inside of your locker.
Cherry frowned, playing with her fingernails and looking down, “Well, I didn’t remember until today.” She slightly mumbled. You closed your locker, it closed with a slightly loud bang that caused Cherry to jump a bit. You turned around to her and put a hand on her shoulder, a small sympathetic pout on your face, “Well, you do tend to be a bit forgetful.” You said sweetly, the comment making Cherry nod sadly a little bit, but Max looked at the back of his locker with confusion when hearing the words. You nodded, painting a sweet smile on your face, “It’s okay though!” You reassured, patting her shoulder. “I’ll stop by my house at lunch and grab it.” You told her, causing the girl in front of you to light up with a smile. She clasped her hands together happily, “Thank you, and I’m sorry for not reminding you.” She told you, “It’s no problem, don’t worry.” You responded, walking off to your class.
Cherry had a free period for first period so she hung by her locker, texting a few of her friends to see what to do after school. Max closed his locker and leaned on it, looking intently at Cherry. The blonde felt his stare and looked over, “Hi Max!” She greeted, with a smile, looking back down. Though she greeted him, he still looked at her. She pursed her lips and cleared her throat, eyes flickering up to him as she typed. She finished her message and put her phone into her back pocket. “Well, I should get go-” Cherry began, but she was stopped before she could even pick her foot up to take the first step to her next destination.
Max looked at her seriously, arms crossed, “What she said was kind of mean,” He said, referring to you, standing straighter, “and that’s coming from me.” He finished his sentence, slightly bewildered that he even spoke on it. Cherry was confused about what he was talking about and it showed easily on her face. Max nodded, “When she said you’re forgetful. She forgot to bring something and then said it was because you forgot to remind her. That was rude.” A small breath of a chuckle escaping his lips when apparently Cherry wasn’t getting it.
The girl crossed her own arms, head tilted, her blonde curls pooling over her shoulder, “Were you eavesdropping on us?” She asked him with her lips slightly poked out, eyes gently narrowed.
Max looked at her blankly, one of his hands pointing to the lockers they were right next to. “You guys were talking an inch away from me and my locker, I had no choice.” He stated, stopping himself from rolling his eyes. Cherry dropped her arms and shook her head, a gentle smile coming back to her face. “Well, it wasn’t mean.” She claimed, “She was right, I should’ve reminded her, a week is a long time for anyone to remember to bring anything.” Cherry defended you, which confused Max. Before the brunette could get a word in, someone walked past Cherry, gesturing her to follow and she did just that, leaving Max alone to his thoughts.
Max decided to keep a closer eye on you and your interactions, he tends to try to ignore you but your recent conversations catch his attention. He’s taken note that you don’t just do this type of thing with Phoebe and Cherry, you do it with everyone.
One day, Max was sitting at a table with his friends during lunch, talking about nothing important. At the next table over, you sat alone, scribbling in a notebook.
A boy named Tyler had walked up to you, clearly distressed. You were looking through your notebook, eating, your gaze only flickering up to him for a moment. “Hi Tyler.” You greeted, writing a few things in the journal. He sat across from you, adjusting the collar of his shirt nervously which caused you to put your pen down and look at him with soft eyes. “You okay?” You asked, folding your hands over one another, your voice taking him out of his own head.
Max heard your voice and slightly listened to your conversation, still giving responses to his friends.
Tylers eyes widened and he nodded before shaking his head. You looked at him curiously, as if telling him to go on with why he wasn’t. Tyler took a deep breath, “I know we talked about this earlier but, I still feel weird about it.” He spoke slightly, the words making your lips thin into a line before folding back out, Tyler didn’t notice. “How so?” You asked politely, placing your hands into your lap. The boy rubbed the back of his neck, “I just feel we aren’t really friends anymore since you hang out with everyone else more than me. I feel a little neglected.” He spoke, waving his hands around nervously. You nodded in understanding, “Yeah, I understand that.” You told him gently, moving yourself a bit to get more comfortable. “But,” you began, “We had this conversation earlier, yeah?” You asked him to which he nodded, his hands gripping the edge of the table. You nodded, “Yeah, we did. I said I’m sorry and you forgave me.” You told him and he looked down, he knew you said sorry, but he still felt upset about it. “If you didn’t forgive me and were still hurt, why did you say you forgave me?” You asked him and Tyler gently scratched his head. He eventually sighed, “Yeah, you’re right. Maybe I’m just still worked up.” He suggested to which you looked at him with big eyes, “If you think so, then sure.” You spoke, reaching out and patting his hand that stayed on the table.
Max was listening to the conversation, his jaw slightly dropped as his eyes widened slightly, ‘What?’ He thought to himself, utterly confused. How was it possible that you could get other people to just blame themselves instead of you? That piqued Max’s interest far more than he thought you could.
He watched you more closely, you said these things so easily, so kindly that people just let you. He’s heard so many to the point Max was getting fed up with the people around you, it was absurd how no one noticed. It might’ve drawn him to you, but your friends had to be idiots.
You were talking to Flunky about some sort of idea he presented to the student council and it went badly, he told you that you said the idea would work but you simply frowned, brows pushing together, confusion written over your face. Max heard a phrase he quickly got used to hearing, "I don’t think I said that specifically, are you sure you're remembering correctly?” When Flunky started doubting himself you would side hug him with a soft smile. You would say “It’s okay, you just misunderstood me. Misunderstandings happen all the time.” As if you didn’t contribute to his downfall to the student council.
Max has heard, “I don't think you're seeing the situation clearly. Maybe you should take a step back and think about it.", "I didn't mean to upset you, I was just being honest.”, “You’re so negative, you should be more positive.” All with a bright smile on your face and everyone would just smile back, say you’re right and move along as if you didn’t just completely turn the situation around back on them. He’s never seen someone so, ‘good’, act in such a way, he couldn’t quite explain his feelings on it.
Enough was enough for Max, so one day before the last period bell rang he grabbed you by your arm and gently pulled you behind the staircase. You weren’t exactly shocked by who it was so you didn’t struggle, you walked along with him, asking a small, ‘Where are we going?’ which was ignored until you guys were under the stairs. You looked around a bit, an amused smile on your face, “Hello to you too Max.” You lightly chuckled but Max’s face was stone cold, only a small stem of light reflected in the brown of his eyes.
“You’re confusing.” He stated, arms crossed and you genuinely laughed. You stopped laughing, clearing your throat when you saw his face, “Okay, you’re serious.” You spoke, hiding your mouth with your hand before dropping it back down to your side. Your eyes blinked at him, “How am I confusing?” You asked, a small smile on your face, your brow raised. Max smirked, “I am so glad you asked!” He said with bright eyes before his expression dropped back into blankness, “You’ll say something with your sweet voice, but it’s so hurtful to other people.” Max told you, pointing at you. You nodded gently, arms still at your sides, your head slightly tilted to the side as you spoke, “It’s interesting to me that you perceive my words in that type of light.” You told him, your bottom lip slightly poking out.
Max inhaled sharply before letting out a deep exhale, “It’s been clear that everyone around you is blinded by your displays.” He said, hand waving in the air to gesture to you, poking the inside of his cheek with his tongue, “I’m not.” He spoke bluntly, putting his hand down. He then licked his lips, looking around slightly before locking eyes with your amused expression, “Okay, I’ll say it outright since no one else has.” He spoke, walking closer to you, slightly leaning forward to gently tower you. “You’re mean, and you’re borderline evil.” He stated, his lips in a line, pulling back, “And for the second time within the past two weeks, that’s coming from me. “ He mumbled, surprised he’s saying such things.
You sighed, smiling a bit, “Do you feel better?” You asked him, noticing how his shoulders relaxed after saying it. He didn’t respond which made your smile slip a bit before it was placed right back, “I think it’s,” She paused, trying to find the right words and Max tilted his head. Were you stumped because you’ve been caught? You shook your head, disregarding your last thought, “I don’t think I’m evil.” You said simply, your eyes big and bright, but Max huffed a laugh at the comment. He smirked ever so slightly, breaking his majorly serious facade, “Your words are covered in venom but it’s like you manipulate everyone into only seeing honey dripping from them.” He told you, fingers scratching at his eyebrow as he tried to think about all your words. “You're some sort of wolf in sheep's clothing, you bite when someone gets too close to something you don't like.” He continued on, the phrasing causing your smile to drop completely. You bit your tongue slightly before speaking, “I’m sorry you think that.” You spoke quietly, the tone of your voice made Max create eye contact with you.
He smiled, smiled at you. “I thought you were insufferable,” He spoke about prior moments, “but, you interest me more and more everyday.” He told you, this made your eyes narrow in confusion. “I’m sorry?” You asked him, crinkling your brows, your nose scrunched and your mouth twisted. Max nodded, smiling, crossing his arms, “I just told you about how your words are manipulative and responded with ‘I’m sorry you think that’ as if it’s my fault. You’re doing it to me!” He laughed, he didn’t even seem mad about it. “You’re so interesting, I just can't stop myself from listening when you talk to people.” He told her, leaning on the back wall. Your tongue touched the bottom of the top row of your teeth as you looked away in disbelief, “You’re definitely looking into what I say too much, but you find it…?” You paused, leaning on the opposing wall, foot balancing you on the wall. He continued the sentence for you, “Intriguing. I find you intriguing.” He told you, his smile turned into his typical smirk.
Your expression softened, “So, you like me?” You asked bluntly, causing the boy to glare at you. “I said you interest me, you do things that make it so I can’t focus on other things.” He explained, rolling his neck a bit and you nodded. “Right, you totally like me.” You teased, “Quit it.” He responded, rolling his eyes. You shook your head and began walking into the hallway, Max following. “If I’m so…’interesting’,” You quoted, turning to him, “you can meet me after this next class that we’re late to, and we can talk more then.” You finished your sentence and he looked over to you boredly. You guys were by your lockers so he unlocked his and shrugged, “Okay.” he said, shuffling in his locker as if he were busy. You began to walk away with a grin, waving, “Bye Max.” You told him, walking into your class late.
Max was staring at the back of his locker with a matching grin, soon putting his head down on the bottom of his locker, a small flush on his face. He was definitely going to meet you after this last class.

W/n=Wrong name
*******
Love was in the air at Hollywood Arts, and you absolutely hated it. You sat on the stairs in the main hallway and watched all the main couples of the school go about their day.
Trina came into view. She was running after Jade. “Babe! I said I was sorry!”
Jade’s jaw tightened as she turned back around to her girlfriend. “You walked in on my auditions!”
“I’m sorry! You know how I get! I see an opportunity and I just gotta take it. Y’know?”
Her words didn’t soothe Jade’s anger. “My audition isn’t your opportunity!”
Trina paused for a moment. “Well, yeah. I know that now...Listen what if I buy you those new scissors you wanted?”
That seemed to immediately resolve a lot of Jade’s resentment. “...The ones that are diamond encrusted?”
“The very same,” Trina nodded. “Do you like me again?”
Jade took a step up to Trina, took her hand, and kissed her cheek. “Maybe...”
    The two walked off together.
“Whatcha doin’?” Beck was suddenly looming over you.
You turned around to look at him. “Wallowing in my loneliness.” You turned back around and rested your head on your hands.
“...That sounds like fun,” Beck responded, not knowing what else to say.
“Robbie!!! Robbie!!!” Cat burst onto the scene by running down the stairs and screaming bloody murder for Robbie. She reached the middle of the main hallway and released her loudest scream yet. “ROBBIE SHAPIRO!!!”
The boy came sprinting into view on Cat’s right. “What? What is it? Everyone’s telling me you’re looking for me, Cat. Is everything okay? Are you hurt?”
“No,” Cat answered, much calmer than before.
“Then what is it?” Robbie asked, still very concerned.
Cat’s response was simple: “I missed you.” She then leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Robbie’s torso.
Robbie let his head rest on top of hers. Probably to equally revel in her cuteness and insanity. “I...I missed you too, sweetheart...But next time, maybe try calling me on the phone...” His voice trailed off as he and Cat walked away.
“Hey, guys.” Tori approached you and Beck, hand-in-hand with André.
You immediately rolled your eyes. “Here we go. Yet another couple to rub their happiness in my face.”
“I’m sorry?” Tori wasn’t sure if she should’ve apologised for her happiness.
“What’s with the sour attitude?” André wondered. When he and Tori came to a stop, he traded holding hands with her with putting an arm around her shoulder.
“Nothing’s up. Right, Y/n?” Beck answered for you. Before you could respond to Beck, he asked the three of you, “You guys wanna get lunch?”
Both Tori and André nodded. “Sure.”
Beck grabbed your hand. “You’re coming too. C’mon.” He dragged you along with him.
Outside, you were mainly focusing on your food, which was why you didn’t notice, at first, a guy walk up next to you. When you did notice him, you saw that he wasn’t just a guy, he was Ryder Daniels, a senior. A really hot senior at that. He was talking to you.
    “Hey. It’s W/n, right?”
“Y/n.” Beck corrected without looking up from his meal.
Ryder cleared his throat. “Y/n, right. How are you doing?”
    “I-I’m doing okay...How are you?”
Ryder smiled at you. “I’m good. So, Y/n, I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime?”
You felt your eyes widen. “With me?”
Vaguely, you heard Beck go, “With her?”
Ryder gave a weird look to Beck. “Yeah...” He turned back to you. “What do you think?”
“Uh, s-sure.” You had to physically push the word out.
“Great.” Ryder grinned and walked away.
“Great!” you called after him, then turned back to your friends. “What just happened?”
Tori was the first to answer. “What do you think just happened? You got a date!”
Your heart was beating out of your chest. “Really? Are you sure?”
“Yes!” André congratulated you. “Be happy, Y/n!”
You were pretty sure that was what you were feeling. Your heart wouldn’t slow down to tell you anything else.
That night, you had just finished a pretty fun night with Ryder. You couldn’t believe it, but you were pretty sure you had just fallen into your first relationship.
There was a knock at your door.
You walked toward it, confused. “Ryder? Did you forget something?” You opened your door to find not Ryder. “Beck?”
“I don’t like this.” He came marching into your home.
Your confusion only grew. “Don’t like what?”
He jumped onto another subject. “How was your date?”
“It went fine. We’re doing the Full Moon Jam together. Is this what you’re upset about?” you wondered.
    Beck’s jaw clenched. “Maybe.”
    “Why?” You were flabbergast.
He thought for a second. “I don’t-I don’t know, but I just don’t like the idea of you with someone else--”
“Are you kidding me?!” you shrieked. “All this time, I’ve been alone, Beck. So I swear to god, if you tell me you like me now--”
“I don’t like you!” he shouted back. “I just don’t want to see you with him! I don’t want to see you with anyone unless it’s m--” Beck immediately stopped talking as realisation dawned on his face.
“...Get out,” was all you had to say.
Beck hung his head as he followed your order.
And just like that, you were left alone.
The next day, you were excited to see Ryder again. You were excited to see anyone that could distract you from Beck. You decided to meet Ryder at his locker.
You were about to round the corner when you heard Ryder talking to one of his friends.
“Hey, Ryder. Congratulations! I heard you’re dating that one girl--What is it--W/n?”
“Yeah. Only until she gets me an A on this Full Moon Jam assignment. Then you can have her.”
That was all it took to have you booking it in the other direction.
You weren’t sure how many hours you spent in the janitor’s closet, but you were pretty sure you’d heard the bell ring three times. You weren’t willing to do the math.
Suddenly, the door to the closet burst open. “There you are!” Beck called out, relieved. “Jesus, I’ve got everyone looking for you, y’know...Y/n?”
“He’s using me,” you tearfully informed, “He’s using me to get a good grade on the Full Moon Jam assignment, then he’s gonna dump me.”
Beck didn’t know what to say, “Oh, Y/n.”
“Why didn’t you say anything?” You sprung to your feet.
He thought you were talking about Ryder. “I didn’t know--”
“Not about him. Why didn’t you tell me you liked me before all this mess?”
Beck was ashamed. “I didn’t know about that either until Ryder asked you out.”
“Why didn’t you tell me--?” Your sobs cut you off. You started crumpling into yourself until Beck enveloped you in a hug.
For some reason, life didn’t seem so bad anymore. You hugged him back. The tears kept falling.
“I’m never going to let anyone hurt you again,” Beck whispered, “Whether I have you or not. No one will ever treat you like this again--”
    You kissed him.
It was an intense kiss. Beck roughly backed you against some drawers, and you forcefully ran your fingers through Beck’s hair.
Eventually, you two had to part for air, and you just smiled.
“What’s the smile about?” Beck asked. His expression matched yours.
“Oh, a few things,” you answered teasingly. You kissed him again. “I think I know how to get revenge on Ryder, and I’m gonna need your help.
    “Anything,” Beck promised you.
“Good,” you grinned, and kissed him again.

Not judgmentally, not emotionally at all for that matter, he just stares
Consider it his waiting period for his central processing unit to catch up
After a brief moment of registration, he nods and continues on with whatever conversation or demonstration or interaction was occurring before
Donnie directly lets you know that it is always okay for you to experience your tics
None of that trying-to-restrict-it-for-politeness’-sake business around here
When you feel uncomfortable or tense or just overall weird, he wants that you always feel comfortable to express whatever you need to in his presence
If you ever try to apologize for one of your tics, he bluntly asks, “What do you have to apologize for?”
He knows that it’s involuntary, that you have no genuine intention to say something flippant
He doesn’t expect an apology for that
Mikey:
Mikey immediately pales and pouts
That’s just his spontaneous reaction
His thought process is kind of just: Mean words? Mean words directed at me? They must mean it personally and I must be a terrible person and they must hate me and-
But then he realizes: Oh. Right.
And the bad thoughts stop flowing
If his reaction makes you think that he’s upset with you, he quickly assures you of the opposite
He didn’t mean to seem aghast
He was just surprised
So he reassures you that he would never, could never get mad at you for something out of your control
He loves all aspects of you and will always be your biggest supporter through anything and everything
Leo:
Leo’s pretty chill, pretty nonchalant about it
Normally he just moves along; that’s all one really can do
Sometimes, however, like if the tic occurs at a comically bad time, he laughs
Not just a normal giggle either
It’s the kind that one tries to stifle, but it bubbles up their throat and nose and actually ends up being significantly louder
Either that or he smirks
Although, if you feel like he’s poking fun at you, he fervently clarifies that he just found the timing funny, not you or your tics
He also apologizes profusely (if you’ve been looking for a favor from or leverage over him, now’s the time)
Leo feels slightly guilty if you happen to pick up a rude word or phrase from him
He also finds it objectively funny, only if you’re not upset by it, of course
Raph:
Raph instinctually mutters a “language” if he’s not paying much attention when he hears your tics
Pin it on his big-brotherly/motherly instincts
He hears a swear and/or vulgar language, he calls it out
After a moment of you just looking at him, he realizes his error
Quietly, Raph admits and says sorry for his mistake
Other times, he hears you and tilts his head, waiting for elaboration
His conversational awareness, at times, is shoddy, so he can use some help understanding whether or not you intended to say something or not
He’s not perturbed with you at all, no matter what you end up saying
He could never blame you for it, seeing as you have no volition in what your tics are, though he’ll do his best to educate himself on the topic, ask you about your triggers so he can avoid them, see if there’s anything he can do to help
Whatever you need, he’s got you
