ok so! uh! normally this is the moment where id go "i have a normal amount of feelings about this movie [through tears]" but that actually isnt the case this time. guess i just didnt like it as much as all the other movies in the franchise
#there were a lot of things i didnt like#for example there were a handful of plot holes to me most notably the fact that scotty was on the enterprise b when kirk 'died'#because. if that was 73 years before the movie takes place‚ and THAT was roughly 2-3 years after the tng episode relics took place#then after being freed from the transporter pattern buffer after being in there for 80 YEARS#he would have KNOWN kirk was dead#but in the episode he says 'i bet jim kirk himself hauled the old gal out of mothballs to come looking for me'#thats usually not how you talk about someone who has (to you) been dead for 7 years.#now of course that kind of timeline fluke isnt the end of the world but. well........ i guess i kinda expected better?#i sound sooooo fuckin mean and nitpicky here but trust me thats not the only reason i was disappointed#i was also upset that they essentially made data a comic relief character throughout the majority of the movie?#he had like 3 actual emotional moments and the rest was just silly goofs. he doesnt deserve to be treated like that#(although his life form song was sick. i will admit)#and soran as a character was just kinda...... disappointing. he was a cheesy villain with a pretty iffy motive#not to mention they COMPLETELY missed the chance to give us the opportunity to explore guinan more. she DEFINITELY deserved more screentime#all she was in this movie was. well? just a support character who offered a little advice and explanation and then left#that upset me a bit too bc i love guinan soooo much#i guess overall it didnt. have like. a distinct feel to it. it kinda just felt like a long tng episode with a higher budget#(but evidently not that much to show for it)#the other star trek movies were so very obviously their own THING‚ separated from the original series#though i think that may have had a little to do with the movies taking place a while AFTER tos ended#whereas this movie took place like. really pretty shortly after the end of tng#that said i wanna make it clear i liked the movie. it just doesnt really hold much of a candle to the first 6#also what kinda gayass last words are 'oh‚ my' like htrghoieruhgoug ok gayboy#ANYWAY!!!!! thats my thoughts on star trek generations i guess. it wasnt as good as id hoped but still good for the most part#i only cried like. once. and that wasnt even actual crying it was just tearing up a little bit -_-#and i didnt have to take that many hyperfixation stim breaks either....#well either way im glad to have finished it! now i can go back to rewatching tos ^___^#also reading first best destiny YAYYY#can u believe its only 4am. i finished this movie like. super quickly compared to the other ones LAWL

Honestly my biggest fear is to end up writing my characters the same way vivzie does, I feel like she doesn't even try on certain characters(female characters and literally any other that isn't her "uwu baby boi must be protected at all costs" characters like stolas, angel dust). Like imagine completely missing the point of your own character/srs
to everyone pre-release worries and anxieties just as much as I have-- Please take this time to read or explore different interests of books or authors of subjects and genres you like ! In the era of internet where the golden age of information is rusting into brainrot, the less time online anymore the better. I've been taking javascript/python tutorials for myself attempting to make a dating simulator for literal years at this point and its bounced around to the point of where I branched off to develop my own murder mystery 2-d sidescroller !
I wish for this to be a farewell letter to the crushed hopes and dreams I had for the original hazbin pilot and crew has moved on to other things whereas viv attempted to spitefully keep a story she clearly doesn't have any passion over- it is very evident over her lack of care for her own characters purely for the monetary gains of attempting and sadly wriggling her way into industry the way she did is so abhorrent to the world of genuine art and animation I grew up with.
Has Vivzie ever read a Felix the Cat comic strip or Dilbert even Hägar The Horrible? Does she even know about the history and strive of depth that animation has been at for hundreds of years? Does she even like comics, clearly not if she doesn't even have the patience to write her own and horribly rush whichever story she's interested in that day. I've never seen a careless writer be this selfishly unashamed to write literal garbage and surface level 'intrigue' of design and then falling flat face first at EVERY step. Hope she becomes as unbearable of a director as John K. is because honestly even though I'm cringing making that comparison, it's pretty fair in my book considering the outright ABUSE she has always trying to talk or hoard artists into her 'pet project' I recommend above anything else to watch Dan Stamanolous' 'Moral Orel' if you want an actually funny dark comedy or Christy Karacas' fast paced dark horror comic-come-to-life Superjail! for good animattion that doesn't belittle its audience... *[Trigger Warnings for Adult Swim-esque outdated 2007 humor and light transphobia, read for your own triggers if you dont want to though, please!]
The fact that Stollitz is written so flimsily like a wattpad fanficiton of tropes rolled into one is astounding to me, I used to like the dynamic pre-season 2 as I've mentioned on here and @tired-hellowl so I really don't want to get a headache going into how I USED to like it-Realizing the problematic consent issues all of STOLASS is, I physically cannot watch another Helluva or Hazbin promo anymore without rolling my eyes into the back of my head.
To the anons and people who used to also enjoy vivs work, there are other artists and there are other stories to tell. If you wish to be inspired from Dante's Inferno/Hell or WESTERN CHRISTIAN BASED RELIGION keep in mind what source material you're doing because I don't even think vivzie has picked up the bible once in her life.... And I say this as a drifter in the world who believes in reincarnation I don't really vibe with the athiest stereotypes however, I don't believe in most religion but more power to people that do get hope and love from their teachings and cultures.
She entirely missed the mark for several years, nearly a decade. Viv has had time and time again chance and opportunity to give a chance of storytelling with demons and what does she do? Adult Cartoon that has the demons scream 'FUCK SHIT DAMNIT DAMNIT LOOK IM SO HORNY AND SILLY AND WACKY WOAHH THE SCREEN IS CONSTANTLY MOVING YOU CAN NEVER HAVE A SECOND TO BREATH IN ANY AMOUNT OF WORLBUILDING OR SETTING BECAUSE FUCK. YOU.'--
I have said this time and time again- there is no substance or worth about Helluva Bosses or Hazbins writing, even without the show not being released because Amazon seems ashamed about it, I know it'll be a shitshow.
Honestly at this point I agree with the redesign community, take any character you used to like and rewrite them until it's unrecognizable from the original source material, let those fuckers in space fight alien pirates or hell take them out of the heaven and hell trope and just flip it on it's head entirely out of earth or wherever you want to set your story! I'm personally redesigning angel to be a slight aid to my addiction help via rewriting him into my murder mystery heheh while keeping the sexual abuse and recovery in mind because woah that shit happened to me too man !!!
I wish the best to any future writers, animators, programmers, lovers of animation or art, you can do what you put your mind and hands to! Spread more positivity and love then hate in this world please guys, this'll be the last time I pop in I promise I'm trying to get a better job and hopefully get accepted in a community college that i've been on the fence over trying to do more online coding ! The sky is the limit!<3

Tossing out ideas for a hypothetical rewrite of The Power of Three
Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been rereading Po3 and, of course, as is usual within the fandom, I’ve been having lots and lots of thoughts on how I’d go about taking a crack at doing better. The likelihood of me actually writing out this whole thing is pretty close to 0 as I don’t have the discipline or interest for such a long writing project, but I’m constantly writing about these characters and this time period so you might see some of these concepts reoccur in my writing. But as with all my other ideas, I'm releasing them into the wild for anyone to do what they please with them. I just ask to be credited and sent a link to whatever you end up using them for.
So, without further ado!
As I mentioned with my other post on rewrite ideas, the arc is going to be split in two halves. The first half serves to explore the relationships between the three siblings while the second half focuses on them as individual characters as they face off one by one with Sol.
The Sight:
This one is a Hollypaw and Jaypaw book, focusing on their swapping of careers as a main plot, while Lionpaw’s chapters introduce us to other key players in the story such as Ashfur, Heatherpaw, and Breezepaw. I’m undecided how to make that into a compelling subplot but there should be something there.
I want the career swap plot to be something that’s built up to be more a mutual recognition by Holly and Jay that their interests and skillsets are better utilized in the other’s chosen path, by means of helping each other out with what they find difficult in their training. Though I also want to stress in Jaypaw a lingering disappointment in himself  that will be brought up later.
Also rather than this all happening over the course of like, a moon, space it out over a season. In canon they each had like. A week of training which kind of portrays their mentors as not even giving them a chance. Not to mention the absolute wasted opportunity it is to not have Hollypaw attend a half-moon meeting.
Dark River:
This one can remain mostly intact. The throughline of Lionpaw and Hollypaw having both out of Clan friends they find hard to part with is solid. The main changes are to the Jaypaw part of the plot.
There’s a couple main ideas I want to explore with Jaypaw: 1) his lingering disappointment in himself, even as he finds himself better suited and more engaged with his new role, 2) a growing distaste for StarClan’s cryptic ways, and 3) his conflict with Leafpool over how she’s handling Cinderpaw’s injury.
This all comes to head when he finds the stick and goes into a past life regression. This is where the Jay’s Wing plot from Long Shadows goes in this hypothetical rewrite. It’s very important that Jay’s Wing is blind here and that instead of a time travel journey it is essentially a flashback sequence.
Through living through Jay’s Wings’ memories, Jaypaw thus learns of the society pre-Clans and how they lived a life he finds more fulfilling as he doesn’t need to chose a role but like all other ancients he does a little bit of everything. He also finds fulfillment in the easygoing nature of their society as they don’t have to be on edge with constant conflict on their borders and in the fact that he can be heard as an equal in their democratic system.
When the climax rolls around and the littermates set out to find the missing WindClan kits the plot progresses as normal. However instead of having a ghost guide in Fallen Leaves, Jaypaw is able to tap into the memories of his past life as Jay’s Wing and leads the group by himself. The day is saved, but the roots of a divide have begun to grow within the littermates as Hollypaw and Lionpaw grow more entrenched in the warrior code while Jaypaw gains an ambition for completely overhauling the system.
Outcast:
The core concept of a journey that forces Breezepaw to interact with his half siblings is good, but I don’t like that they had to force the Tribe into it or that it ended up in Clan cats chastising this other group for not being more like them. I don’t have a concept for an alternative journey for the cats to be taking but I think it should be something where: a) Breezepelt interacts with all the siblings, not just Hollypaw and Lionpaw, and b) the focus of the book is in building up some sort of relationship between Jaypaw and Lionpaw.
Also, I’d suggest that by the end of this book, Hollypaw, Lionpaw, and Breezepaw get their warrior names.
Eclipse:
In this one I think we should cut to the chase with the battle as soon as possible. Obviously some buildup of Sol is necessary beforehand and perhaps have something about Cinderpaw’s recovery too, without having the whole of the second part of her subplot. I’m sorry, it’s a nice part of the arc, but is not all that essential and in the interest of giving Sol’s plot more time to develop is the most obvious cut.
But anyway, as Sol is going about doing his thing trying to build up a following in the clans so he can lead through soft power, I think we should focus on Lionblaze and how he’s reacting to Heatherpaw’s betrayal. As Sol searches for recruits, he eyes Lion and gets him to spill about his desire for vengeance. Sol tries to manipulate him but he ultimately rejects Sol.
It seems everything’s well and that Lionblaze has been able to move past his violet impulses, but just as things seem to be going smoothly Sol reveals he’s got ShadowClan wrapped around his finger and he’s got a medicine cat ally: Jaypaw, now the self-named Jaywing.
Long Shadows:
This book is an expansion of the saving ShadowClan from Sol’s influence plot. We see how Sol is acting as a despot, treating ShadowClan as his play thing and maintaining his power by a combination of fake displays of power and Jaywing’s collaboration lending him legitimacy. While Jaywing maintains an ideal of using this power to improve Clan society, Sol tries to tempt him into exploiting his power for personal gain. This eventually causes Jaywing to try and look for a way to expose and oust Sol.
Meanwhile in ThunderClan, Tawnypelt and her kits have arrived. The cousins have some good bonding time, but it becomes clear the kids don’t want to be ThunderClan, they want to be ShadowClan. They all want to do something about Sol but they don’t know what. That is until Jaywing reaches out to them and offers them a plan. It’s with their help that they stage a situation where Sol is exposed and Jaywing publicly denounces Sol.
Following that, Jaypaw takes on his apprentice name again and after helping Leafpool through a really bad outbreak of greencough he earns his legitimate medicine cat name of Jayfeather. It seems all’s well that ends well until Ashfur opportunistically seizes the situation with the thunderstorm and the fire and gets Squirrelflight to confess something he’d figured out ages ago: she didn’t give birth to her own kits and she hid it from them.
But his plan was not only to get her to confess to them. Now that he sets out to reveal it at a gathering, Hollyleaf does her thing and murders him. When Leafpool prepares his corpse for burial she of course finds the incriminating evidence but only reveals that another cat must’ve murdered him. Thus the search for Ashfur’s murderer is on.
Sunrise:
With the backdrop of Ashfur’s murder being investigated, our siblings set out on their own search for answers. Is Ashfur’s murderer their mother who was warned by Squirrelflight about the secret? Or perhaps it was Squirrelflight herself to protect her reputation? What of the possibility they’re not Clanborn? What of the possibility they were born out of a half-Clan relationship?
The questions hang heavier in no other than Hollyleaf’s mind, so she seeks out Sol, who has been hanging around the lake still, hiding as he tries to think of a new plan of attack. She hopes that, even if his power over ShadowClan was based on manipulation, his knowledge of things not even StarClan seems unaware of may be genuine.
Sol agrees to give answers on the condition she do certian small tasks for him. These eventually are adding up and Hollyleaf figures out Sol is trying to frame a ShadowClan cat as the murderer of Ashfur so he can step in as a herald of peace in the middle of a ThunderClan-ShadowClan war, thus gaining power for himself. As soon as she learns of this, she rebukes Sol.
Jayfeather meanwhile has figured out Leafpool’s secret and through asking around she’s learned who the only person who could possibly be his father is. He informs his siblings and this ends up breaking Hollyleaf. She confesses to all her crimes at a gathering and ends up fleeing.
Thus, the events are set in motion for the next part of the story.

ok i've already made like three posts about this but i have more that i've been thinking about so i'm gonna dump them here
the more i think about it, the more it felt like the first batch of routes (which I'll refer to as B1 for short from now on) was just warm-up for EAA, in terms of lore and worldbuilding, like an introduction. Whitethorn Lore 101. it establishes the existence of several elements of the world, but doesn't get the chance to fully explore them. that's presumably where B2 and B3 come in.
since maybe midway through B2, with Arin and Abel and Lavinia, i figured we would probably have learned more about the trees and how they fit into the lore. this is because
2 out of the 3 LIs have such direct connections to the trees (Lavinia might have an indirect connection)
and it just plain makes sense to try to make sense of them. the pre-launch promotional posts for EAA very prominently name the trees as protectors and that there's more to them than meets the eye. that's reinforced in canon, namely with the first day speech MMC gives and the justification for the uniforms. after all this buildup, it would be weird not to try to explore what exactly about these special trees is hidden from ordinary eyes, wouldn't it??
i think B3 (probably another set of three LIs: Omar, Rapunzel, Josephine?) would have been a great opportunity to cover other areas of the lore. some likely suspects: the fires, the labyrinth, the history of the university and the town in general? there is a lot of potential there to explore too.
we've seen some fires across a few routes so far (Nora, Arin, Lavinia), but none of the incidents feel connected, so I'm not sure what to make of them.
in Nora's route at least, the labyrinth is briefly touched on and is made out to be like an ancient yet currently abandoned area of the school, so it would logically be closely linked to the history of Whitethorn in general.
possibly related to the labyrinth is that, as was mentioned in Ezra's route iirc, the path between worlds used to be open and people roamed freely between. that has huge implications for the triad itself, and also seems linked to the history of the university and the town. plus, Ezra is notably seen reading up on Whitethorn in his own route. all in all, the history doesn't seem unimportant...
if i'm on the right track, i think we would've had a very complete picture of how everything in the EAA universe works by the end of B3. no LS series ever gets got more than 9 routes total, so B3 would've been it for EAA. therefore it would have been expected for the creators to wrap everything up with a neat bow on top by then.
all the pieces of the lore (the whitethorn trees, the fires, the labyrinth, the magic library, the history of Whitethorn and its founding family) might even be interrelated—in fact, i find it hard to imagine that they wouldn't be? even though it is hard to see how, since we don't know everything.
am i overthinking this? did they not plan as much or as deeply as i’m speculating they did? are most of these elements just kind of flavor text that’s meant more for atmosphere than be plot points to explore? possibly.
did we find out the answers to a few of my (many) burning questions and i just missed them? am i ignoring them because i thought they were too obvious or not as elaborate as i envisioned by i’m a chronic overthinker? probably at least to some degree.
that’s part of why this series being chopped off in the middle (just as it was getting really good!) is so disappointing.
idk. i really wanted to find out just how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Talks Machina Highlights - Critical Role C2E129 (March 16, 2021)
Tonight’s guests are Matt Mercer and Taliesin Jaffe!
Matt, on DMing Luc’s Revivify: “That was weird. It’s one thing when it happens because of player action and circumstances and the choices they make. When it’s entirely on me, unintentional, and just realizing different chess pieces you’ve set up, that’s rough.” It was especially rough since this was a child NPC related to a PC. “I was hoping somebody had a spell slot left.” He kept in mind that there are two clerics in the room and that they could resurrect the next day even if the Revivify went poorly. “A good chance, since it’s his first time. Okay, okay, okay, okay, I think we’ll be okay, we’ll see how this goes. It was really stressful in the moment! I did not set out to have that happen, but when I realized what was going to happen, I tried to see it through.” He wouldn’t have prevented a chance to bring him back. “There may have been an offshoot short-run series of games to find a way to bring him back. I would have found some way to correct the circumstance so the players could feel good about moving forward with the story and there was no undue punishment beyond their control.”
Taliesin on Cad’s response: “This is a big thing if you’re a cleric. It was very much coming in like an EMT. Everything should be fine... hopefully. Just focused in and got it done. The minute things started to go south it was like, okay, that’s the next problem.”
On Yeza’s feelings: “It is a very complicated situation. I think he, much like how Veth is trying to figure out what it is that she wants, I think he’s trying to help her find that while also figuring it out for himself. I think Yeza’s also noticing that because Veth’s the more active of the two of them she also takes the weight of the responsibility and the blame for things when they go wrong, unnecessarily. Especially when he himself acknowledges that he’s partially at fault for even dragging everyone in with the Conclave. As much as he’s appreciative for them coming back for him, there’s a lot of back and forth. He’s filled with a lot of regret, too, but he’s very much trying to convince Veth that it’s a burden that she doesn’t have to keep to herself, that they can share it and work through it together.” Matt mentions that, as an actor, he really loves exploring interactions between characters first and foremost. “Especially when you don’t know where it’s going to go.” He also praises Sam as a scene partner - “I really cherish that.”
How does Caduceus feel about Revivify and Speak with Dead? “Speak with Dead is an interesting middle ground, because he knows that it’s not actually speaking with the dead. It’s really just-- it’s almost medical, really. This is just reactivating a brain at a certain point. It’s practically just a muscle twitch at this point. That doesn’t really prod him in that direction. Revivify is interesting, because it had never really come up. At first I thought of it as bending the rules, but it’s not bending the rules. You knock over a plant, you replant it, you don’t stare at it and go ‘Well, that’s over.’ This is just doing the work. No, we can bring this thing back to health. This is all part of the circle of life, that sometimes we can save something. Especially given the stress that he’s put himself through over the past year of being with these people. He’s started to think of himself a bit as a battlefield medic, and triage is just part of the deal, and it’s completely acceptable.”
Did Trent really just want to talk? “Yeah, that circumstance, as it came together, Trent would never have arrived if there wasn’t an indication that there was some kind of infiltration or attack. Even beyond that, it was Jester breaking the concentration on her charm on that one guard when she created her duplicate.” The guards’ job is to inform a member of the Cerberus Assembly, and Trent lived the closest. “He didn’t know who it was, didn’t have any expectation necessarily. The minute he saw the illusion, he knew a powerful magic user was involved.” Seeing Caleb was an unexpected surprise. “I don’t think he wanted to throw down necessarily. He was more interested in figuring out exactly what the nature of this was.” Matt had multiple battlemaps that didn’t get used. “They managed to cleverly out-maneuver him in his surprise of seeing them.” The Nein rocketed up his priority list after that very quickly. Taliesin: “We’re so fucked.”
On Cad being “Uncle Caduceus” to Luc: “It’s the thing he misses most about home, is being a juvenile shit. It’s nice to be able to express that part of him again, as opposed to the serious, life-threatening, constant intensity. I’m very at home just being a little difficult.”
Cosplay of the Week: an amazing Beau! (_rumor_king, photography by kourtyardproductions on Instagram)
On Marion: “Like a lot of people in this whole narrative from the beginning, getting swept up in things larger than her and trying to adapt. This is a circumstance she’s avoided for a long time. She’s having a rough time in some ways, but simultaneously, she’s enduring. Like a mother would. She’s adapting, she’s making it work. Without much of a choice, you just kind of do the best you can and lean on the people around you to help you where they can. Luckily she has a daughter there. She’s probably surprising herself at how well she’s doing given the circumstances.” Matt talks about how weird it is to feel proud of character he’s created. “Of the many things Marion is incredible at, she’s a studier of the human condition. She’s seen and heard the stories of so many. That gives her a very special perspective. She can see elements of that fractured individual within Caleb, and knowing the good that he’s brought to his friends, and knowing he’s possibly saved her life from bad circumstances, she couldn’t not speak up. She very easily falls into that role of maternal comforter, because it’s one of the many things she’s really good at, she enjoys it, and she can see well when people need it.” He’s been enjoying having Marion along for this (despite the difficult circumstances) because he was always a little sad that they only got to see her for short periods of time.
On the Blooming Grove’s safety: “He’s afraid that it’s a premonition. He’s not pinned it down, but he’s happy to let his imagination wander. He at the very least feels like there’s a reason he’s having these thoughts, and that there’s a reason to go there. He’s a big believer that these things don’t just happen. He’s more likely to think that there’s a good reason to go versus a danger to go. He’s had a couple of ominous warnings lately, and he’s not used to them and not a fan. He’s more likely to read something like that as, there is something there waiting for you that you have to discover. There is something that is going to be helpful to you, even if it hurts.”
On Astrid: “While maybe not as readable in overall personality as Trent is, I still want to be careful to not discuss things that are still being discussed within the game and tossed around as possibilities. Astrid is another complicated character, as anyone would be who’s been through the life she has. I can’t say too much. I can say she’s definitely legitimately happy to see Bren/Caleb after all this time.” His reemergence definitely caught her off guard. “We’ll have to see where it goes from there.”
On Cad’s successful Divine Intervention: “He’s definitely hit the ‘on a mission from god’ stage. He’s been that way for the entire campaign of, this, this is what I’ve been waiting for. Even when it sucks a lot, it’s been nice that those things have popped up to remind him, no, no, you’re doing it right, everything’s good. Probably not going to survive the next week, but you’re doing good! Not quite 1 in a 100 chance, but I forget so often to make that roll, and it’s such a great roleplaying roll. I don’t know how at level 20 you could deal with the fact that you can do that every day.”
On Zeenoth getting his comeuppance: the kidnapping was a concept Marisha brought up for Beau’s backstory, and Matt went with it even though it was opposed to the Cobalt Soul’s philosophy because he knew rooting it out would make for an interesting story. “I felt it was an important beat to bring to her, because it was something that she was wronged by. And to show that there are still some good people out there who are trying to make things right.” After the tentative peace, dealing with this became Dairon’s next focus. “I was glad we finally got to it. So many people don’t have the opportunity in their lives to get that sort of justice and vindication, so if I can bring elements of that justice into our world, even for our own hope, I’m going to do that. Especially for my wife’s character, especially for a character that deserves that.” Taliesin points out that if it had come too early, Beau wouldn’t have believed it.
Cad’s thoughts on the Tomb Taker betrayal? “He knew it was gonna come at some point. There was no way that was gonna last. He was hoping it was gonna last a little longer. He was really hoping they had a vested interest in getting them all the way to the end. Nope, this is apparently as far as we go, and he was not prepared for that.” He was expecting the potential for de-escalation. “Caduceus is the only character in there that doesn’t have a history with Lucien. I think he sees him a little more clearly than everybody else does. They’re all looking for this person that Clay, at least, is of the opinion that he’s just not there. This is a very manipulative, very dangerous infernal human. Just smarter than all of them. Really aware that there is no calculating what the hell is going to happen. Conversation is the only way you can deal with someone like that.”
Fan Art of the Week: An amazing Caleb closeup! (rynn_birb on Twitter)
Taliesin on Lucien: “I’m excited he’s the one that’s going to kill us all. Poetic that this is how the game ends.” Matt was delighted when Taliesin handed him carte blanche to do what he wanted with Molly’s past. “I was like ‘shit... oh, wait!’ The character of Lucien was always intended to be an antagonist so that it would have been Molly being chased by the person who wanted their body back. But then it happened that he got his body back.” Taliesin: “He’s so much worse than I ever hoped.”
Matt, on the Holy Avenger: “I hadn’t thought to initially even give that sword.” The good roll was the only reason Kima handed that over. “Well, sure, you get the sword. It was very reactionary, it wasn’t my intent originally. I was like, well, I mean, there’s two avenues she can take with this.” Multiclass into Paladin, or lean into the fact that her subclass is essentially a barbarian paladin. “This really works out in a uniquely beautiful way. Let me see if I can lay out a path for her to earn it.”
On Cad’s attempt at lying blowing up in his face: “He was like that kid that had a really bad day in high school and was like, you know what? I’m going to let loose. This is it. I’m gonna dye a streak in my hair. And then tries to give himself a haircut and ends up with half bangs. Well, okay, obviously I’m not that person. I was feeling a little distraught and I didn’t handle it well. Maybe I’m going dark... no, I’m not going dark. Nope.” Matt mentions how much he relates to Caduceus.
Matt, on the Eyes: “What can I tell you? I’m enjoying the hell out of it. The moment they began to really push to read that book, I was like, okay, this is on you. I’m excited for the point in the narrative where the march continues back to Eiselcross. I am almost impatient - not really - because we’re on the cusp of getting to more of the meat. There’s so much to learn, so much to see, so much to explore. I love instilling my players with absolute terror.”
Thoughts on Jester’s Tarot reading? Taliesin cackles. “Molly made the cards, so. Did it to himself, he did, he did.” Matt: “Once again, another example of things working out unexpectedly and too perfectly for an improvised moment. Fuck.” Taliesin: “Bless the wisdom of chaos.” Matt: “I love that even at this point in the campaign, Molly continues to fuck with people. I’m just so proud. That deeply shook Lucien, for reasons.” Taliesin: “It’s the everlasting gobstopper smoke bomb.”

God where do I even begin on 6x10? Random assortment of thoughts:
- I suppose it was Nia's turn to fuck up badly but she's so innocent about it I can't even be mad
- that PSA was hilarious but what's even funnier is the show trying to convince me that it's viewership is so high because of the message and not because of how awkward SG looked in it. Gen Z's are making TikToks out of that shit.
- also thinking about Nate from Legends screaming: I LIKE BROCCOLI!!!
- Kelly and Alex sparring? Give me that any day
- "get me on the ground" where was my chest to chest, panting in each other's faces and then full on macking and groping scene? Where was it?!?!?
- J'onn was pretty much useless in this episode
- Andrea made a 1 minute appearance but fuck did she imprint an image into my brain in that blouse. Holy shit
- can I just say that I'm actually digging the reporter colleague dynamic of William and Kara?
- but also I'm missing Kara being the wise sensei mentoring her student Nia. Like did the show forget that reporting was where Kara first started mentoring Nia? Not superhero shit!
- Orlando's speech was honestly the best part of this episode
- Nia's mom was so unhelpful. All that for what exactly? For her to point out how big Nia fucked up? We know goddammit. I'm glad the show is exploring Nia's hangups with her powers and her ability to make terrible choices but still.
- why is this show continuing to make Kara look like a complete idiot? That livechat was a trainwreck. Like the show does remember that Kara won a Pulitzer (tho for what idk because can't be the Lex expose this time)? A prize the likes of LOIS LANE has also won?
- citizen: *asks legitimate question*
kara: because....reasons!!!
- also kara acting like an expert on an issue she herself only became aware of five minutes ago? Sigh.
- does no one in this show have any level of general cynicism and suspicion? Or was that all used up on Lena in previous seasons?
- the Kelly screen time was down significantly in this episode and I'm not even sure why. What was it replaced with? I'll tell you: broccoli. They mention that fucking PSA every chance they get.
- the Nia scenes were so scattered and diluted, just like last week's
- NOBODY TOUCH MY CHAIR - god Brainy thank you for adding some gold to this episode
- since the tiger king looking people are back, does this mean that Kara remembers Nia and Brainy? Did anyone tell her about that time travel adventure? What info has and hasn't been shared?
- not that I want to see Lex but the way no one has even mentioned him in anyway since Kara's been back. Like does kara not want to know where this guy is so she can dangle him off a cliff and drop him?
- I guess we're done with the PZ trauma. The ice taking over the building would've been a perfect trigger for Kara since she talked about how the PZ literally felt like ice!!! How the fuck do you miss that opportunity???
- "only magic can defeat magic" so since Mxy obviously isn't sticking around until the end, I guess this really means Lena might be getting magic and I'm already tired
- but also, what I'm hearing is, Lena can protect Kara from pretty much everything she's vulnerable to and I think that's neat
- does Kelly not have military training tho? Even people not in the trenches have to go through training. They're acting like Kelly is some rando photojournalist with a flimsy blackbelt and no practical experience....oh wait
- Alex doesn't have powers, why do they talk as though she does? She has a shape shifting gaudy bracelet. That's it!
- Lena missing from this episode makes sense cuz she could've fixed the housing problem in 3 seconds flat
- Nia and Brainy in the same episode but no Brainia scenes? What even is this?
What can I say? The only positive here is that it continues from the previous episode and we got to see a little more Orlando. But everything else? The no Lena, the very little Andrea, the unsatisfactory Nia and her mom, that God awful PSA and even worse livechat, kara once again looking hella ignorant (you'd think after S4 she'd be so much more aware and skeptical)
Let's just say, I'm ready for Lena and doubles doubles and some random Newfie in what appears to be the same PZ cave Kara was in.

The one with the marathon
Part 7 of The one where Bucky has a cute neigbour series!
Pairing: Bucky Barnes X Reader (f)
Summary | Reader and Bucky become friends after he saves her from  a creep in their apartment building. Each chapter explores a different  point in their friendship - very slow burn!
Warnings | 18+ only, Smut in later chapters (this is a slow burn), swearing, unprotected sex, oral sex, (later chapters)
Mentions of PMS in this chapter! I’ve also given Y/N a couple of interests to add a bit more to the story to help it progress
Will include elements of TFATWS in later chapters
Chapter 7 |Chapter 6 | Chapter 5 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 1 | Masterlist
You’d been doing your best to dodge Bucky as soon as you felt your body's usual symptoms start to develop. It started as it always did with feeling bloated before the short temperedness set in. Bucky was sweet and kind and he didn’t deserve to be on the receiving end of your temper so you opted out of your usual Friday night pizza with him, giving the excuse of being called into work which he accepted with disappointment.
Saturday morning came and as usual, painkillers did nothing to soothe the ache in your lower gut. Traipsing into your kitchen, you filled the kettle up with water before putting it on the hob and started to root around for your hot water bottle whilst you waited for the water to boil.
A knock on your door interrupted your hunt and rather reluctantly, you made your way over to the door, unbothered by your sleepwear attire.
Swinging the door open, you instantly regretted not ignoring it.
“Hey doll”
It was upsetting seeing Bucky look so good on a morning when you felt so rotten. Even worse, you were fully aware of how you currently looked - unbrushed hair, no make up and Bucky’s t-shirt which only just covered the tops of your thighs. Self consciously, you eased the door closed a little bit and shielded your body from view.
“Hi Bucky, what’s up?” You asked, trying to sound as casual as possible.
“Can I come in?” He asked, tilting his head to the side as he tried to catch more of a glimpse of you.
“Now’s not a great time…” You grumbled, feeling guilty as you saw the smile drop from his face.
“Are you avoiding me?” The words rushed out of his mouth before he had time to stop them.
Taken aback by his forwardness, you paused for a moment, your jaw opening and closing as you didn’t quite know how to respond. “I’m sorry, you don’t owe me an explanation. It’s just I heard you in your apartment last night crying but you said you were at work and I was worried-”
He started to ramble as he panicked he’d overstepped the mark so you swiftly cut him off. “Don’t be, you’re right, I have been avoiding you.”
“....oh” Bucky's eyes shot down to the floor as he nodded his head. Your admission cut deep and every insecurity Bucky felt rushed to the surface as he processed your words. “I thought-” he started but not quite knowing how to finish his sentence.
You cursed your inability to think before speaking as you reached out towards him, no longer caring about your appearance as you took his metal hand in yours. “It’s nothing you did, I’m just not myself at the moment, I’m not exactly great to be around when it's my time” You emphasised the last bit, hoping he’d get the hint without having to spell it out.
You were wrong.
Bucky lifted his head and looked back at you, confusion etched across his handsome features. “You’ve lost me”
“Remember how you got that scar on the back of your head?”
“Yeah my sister threw a book at me”
“Uhuh, and do you remember why she did that?”
“I ate the biscuits she saved for when she- oh!” It suddenly hit Bucky as to what you’d been hinting at and suddenly he felt like the world’s biggest idiot.
“Safe to say me and your sister have the monthly mood swings in common” You joked, trying to lighten the mood.
“Well...um… if you need me, you know where I am”
“Thanks Buck” You smiled up at him and tried not to swoon on the spot as he leant towards you, his lips pressing against your forehead, gently kissing you as he cradled the back of your head with his hand.
His thumb stroked the back of your neck as his lips left your skin, sending shivers down your spine.
“I’m sorry for avoiding you, I thought I was saving you
“Trust me, I’ve survived worse” He joked, tucking one of your many stray hairs behind your ear. It suddenly dawned on you what your current state of attire was and you hastily tried to flatten your hair and pull the t-shirt down to cover more of your bare legs.
Bucky tried his best to avert his eyes from your state of undress, not having taking note of how you donned his t-shirt beforehand, too focused on your wellbeing but he found himself failing miserably. You were too cute with your bed head hair sticking up in random places and slightly dark eyes where you’d not completely removed yesterday's mascara. And then there was his t-shirt. Fuck - he’d nearly lost it when you’d warn it the night you’d gotten locked out of your apartment but thankfully your legs were covered. But now? It was driving him mad seeing inch upon inch of bare skin, his t-shirt barely covering your underwear. He wanted nothing more than to shove you against the wall and run his hands over your impossibly soft skin.
The sound of your kettle boiling over snapped him out of it and he watched as you darted over to the kitchen, leaving him standing in the doorway, facing away from you as he was positive he’d be able to see your ass as you walked.
“I’ll come back doll”
Before you had a chance to respond, he’d already closed your door behind him.
Hastily, you made up your hot water bottle and quickly jumped into the shower, unsure as to when he would return.
Half an hour later, Bucky was back at your door, grocery bag in hand. “I’ve brought you a few things for... y’know.”
Opening your door wide for him, you chuckled at his awkwardness and gestured for him to come in. “You really didn’t need to-are those Peanut Buttercups?!” Rushing towards him you grabbed the bag out of his hands and began rummaging through his purchases.
Laughing at your response he left you to it as he hung up his jacket next to yours as he usually did and took up his spot on your couch.
“I remember what Rebecca was like and figured you might appreciate a bit of sugar.”
You could only moan in response as you devoured your chocolate treat. Grabbing your hot water bottle from the side table, you made your way over to the couch and sank into the seat next to Bucky, resting your head against his shoulder.
“Any plans for today?” You asked, holding up the last bite of your candy bar.
“Nope” Leaning forward, he took the chocolate from you using his teeth as he finished it off.
“Then you’re in for a treat” You sunk deeper into the sofa as he lifted his arm up, resting it along the top of the couch cushion, letting you lean further into him. Bucky also took the opportunity to pull the blanket from the couch down onto you, tucking you into his side.
To say Bucky was excited when you told him there were sequels to The Hobbit would be an understatement. For him to then find out they were turned into movies was almost too much.
He was in heaven. He was watching Middle Earth come to life, just how he imagined it would be whilst cuddled up against his favourite girl.
He wished it could be like this all the time, when he was with you the memories of who he was before subsided, along with all the guilt and shame. Even when he was in Wakanda, he hadn’t dared to dream of having any sort of normal life, he’d accepted it just wasn’t on the cards for him. That he’d always be alone.
When Steve left, that only solidified his belief that he was destined to be alone. Part of him was okay with that, this way he wouldn’t hurt anyone ever again. But the other part of him, the part that even Hydra couldn’t wipe out, longed for a companion, whether it be platonic or romantic.
Finding you was a miracle. You were so carefree, so honest, open and kind. You put up with his old fashioned ways, you didn’t make fun of his odd quirks or question why sometimes he needed to just be on his own. You both also had a lot in common, you both enjoyed modern technology and sciences and often found yourselves watching documentaries and educational pieces on TV together. Bucky was also delighted to learn you were obsessed with motorcycles and was planning a road trip for you both for when you next had some time off work - a surprise he was having a hard time hiding from you.
Half way through the first film he felt you nodding off, having come down from the sudden sugar intake. Pulling you tighter against him, he kissed your head and lowered the volume on the TV, not wanting to wake you.
As the second film started, you stirred awake, the cramps returning with a vengeance. As you opened your eyes you realised you’d snuggled into Bucky, nuzzling into his chest, leaving a small amount of drool on his black t-shirt. Jolting backwards, you hastily wiped your mouth and tore yourself from his arms in embarrassment.
Bucky’s eyes hadn’t strayed from the TV as he remained completely emerged in Middle Earth.
“Sorry I didn’t realise-”
He quickly shushed you as he continued watching the film. However he did miss your warmth and spread his arms wide, inviting you back into your previous position. “C’mere”
Trying not to read too much into it, you smiled and sank back into his arms, sighing as they wrapped around you, his right hand resting over your stomach, soothing your cramps.
It was well into the night when you finished your movie marathon, both of you enjoying every minute. You knew friends didn’t cuddle - not like this. They didn’t make your heart race like Bucky did. They didn’t make butterflies erupt in your stomach every time they so much as looked at you.
You were in trouble.

Lost Legends
Okay so I read Lost Legends: The Rise of Flynn Rider and general thoughts? It was cute and fun, and I have gripes here and there but I can still recommend it. I don't want to compare it to WOWM because it's like apples and oranges but Lost Legends wins points for me by actually acknowledging the TTS storyline and characters, even though it's kinda brief and not quite as... entertaining.
And before I go into the in-depth spoiler review I'll jot down a few thoughts here: there's a lot to be said about tie-in media and 'canon', but where I think it becomes contentious is where two pieces contradict each other, and whether those contradictions necessitate a canonical hierarchy or cancel something out completely. And the reason I'm bringing this up is because while LL borrows TTS lore it also contradicts it? which is. ironic.
but i'll get into that. Spoilers ahead
Basic Summary of The Plot
Our story starts at the Dark Kingdom, with a short prologue. It's all stuff we already know from the series: King Edmund tries to grab the moonstone, his wife dies, Eugene gets sent away for his own safety. What's funny is that Ms Queen still doesn't get a name, but her Lady in Waiting/Handmaiden gets a name (Maeve), and it's Maeve who really drops the ball on dropping Eugene off at an orphanage instead of raising him as Prince Horace. Go girl give us nothing
And from here the LL timeline begins, as Eugene and Arnie are now twelve year olds (I think?) in an orphanage in Corona. Which is the first contradiction to 'canon' but shelve that thought for now. Eugene and Arnie are good little boys but they're getting too old to keep hanging around and the orphanage needs money for the evil Tax Man, so they decide they'll go off into the world and send some money back when they're rich off their famous adventuring. What happens instead is that The Baron's circus rolls into town (yes that Baron) and Eugene and Arnie decide to try their luck signing up for that gig.
To prove themselves to the Baron, Flynn and Lance have to perform a hazing ritual a heist. The heist is literally just to buy a key from the Weasel but it plays out as this huge dramatic thing with a guard chase which is eternally funny to me because two kids walk into a bar, buy a key and then leave, and it's treated like fucking ocean's eleven. The Stabbingtons try to betray them (those guys are here too) but Flynn and Lance outsmart them, beginning a rivalry for the ages. Also, the pub thugs are all part of the Baron's circus crew. Don't think about it too much.
Anyway, as this has all been going down, Eugene is really interested in getting to talk to this guy with a tattoo of (what we as the audience know is) the brotherhood symbol, which Eugene recognises from the note left with him as a baby. He wants to talk to this dude in the hopes he'll get a clue about who his parents are, but this dude keeps eluding him. He also hasn't had a chance to tell Lance about this yet, so when Lance finds out about it he assumes Eugene only tried to rope him into the circus so he could find his parents and ditch him. Cue an ongoing silent treatment.
Eugene eventually does talk to this guy and he learns that the Brotherhood symbol is from the Dark Kingdom but the Dark Kingdom is gone so he shouldn't bother looking for it. Bummer. And now the Baron is planning a huge heist of the reward money for the Lost Princess' return, and Eugene is getting cold feet. He's been okay with a little bit of thievery so far but this feels like too much for him, and he's not okay with pulling it off but Lance still won't talk to him.
As the plan unfolds, Lance and Eugene reconcile and then they work together to betray the Baron and return the stolen treasure that they stole back to the King and Queen. They get caught by the Baron, escape, then get caught by the guards, but it's okay because they're presented to the King and Queen and when Eugene explains that they felt really sorry about it and promise not to do it again they're let go. And so the story ends on a high note.
My Thots™
Okay so here are the thoughts
Canon Compliance?
The obvious takeaway here is that this story offers you a beautiful pie in the form of the characters you know and love and the established lore, then shoves the pie in your face with things like "Eugene already knows the Dark Kingdom and the Moonstone exist but he never brings this up" and "Eugene betrays the Baron in a very significant way but somehow they'll make up and he and Stalyan will get engaged". Which means that if the integrity of the series is important to you, you'll probably just mentally cross out Eugene knowing about the Brohood/DK/Moonstone.
And imo that's fine! My own approach to this story is a kind of general 'if it works it works, if it doesn't I'll leave it' thing to work my own headcanons around. Because there's a lot of fun things to pluck from, like a new ex-Brotherhood member and other characters that could pop up from Eugene's past and other worldbuilding details.
The Story
The story was pretty short and obviously very tailored towards a younger audience, but it still felt kind of... slow? Mostly because nothing particularly exciting is happening until the big heist and even that feels pretty underwhelming. And of course I don't expect a story like this to be particularly complex and can appreciate its simplicity, but I felt like if it had been longer there could have been more twists to keep things interesting.
For example, the Baron is set up as a character not unlike Gothel, who lavishes praise upon the boys and goes on about how they're 'family' but is obviously just manipulating them and would throw them to the wolves in a heartbeat. Eugene underestimates just how criminal the Baron is, but at no point in the story does the doubt we have in the Baron's sincerity ever amount to anything- Eugene only turns against him because he has a morality crisis, which I'll get to in a minute.
Misc. Thoughts
Okay so one thing I thought was really cute was that each chapter has a little 'quote' from a Flynnigan Rider book, and I wrote them all down so if you've read this far and want me to post those separately lemme know. Anyway I just thought it was a very cute touch.
An honourable mention goes to every time Stalyan shows up, she doesn't really do anything in the story yet still is somehow the only character holding the brain cell. Rapunzel gets an indirect cameo by Lance and Eugene stumbling upon her tower and going "Whoa that's Crazy. Anyway. " which is amazing, and Cassandra even gets a little mention by the Captain! And to answer the question nobody asked, there's a chameleon running around Corona because she's an escapee from the circus, and Pascal's mom's name is Amélie!
Characters - okay really just Eugene
Eugene/Flynn is the title character of the book and we get the story exclusively from his POV, so there isn't a lot to say about Lance. On the one hand while I can acknowledge that this is a story about Flynn, not Lance, there's a few choices that feel like a missed opportunity at best given that this book really was an opportunity to explore Lance's character in a way the series never really does.
And it feels extra egregious when the plot demands conflict between Eugene and Lance, because while the emotion between them is engaging when it's happening, at other times it just feels like a convenient way to shove Lance offscreen again. (As a side note, as contrived as the conflict is these are also two twelve year old boys so. Can't blame em too much).
Also, Eugene coming up with the name "Lance Strongbow" on Lance's behalf while he's unconscious is one of those backstory things I'm not going to be acknowledging, thank you.
The Robin Hood Dilemma
Something I touched on after reading What Once Was Mine is that Eugene's characterisation prior to the movie isn't something writers seem to really like... dealing with. And it kind of makes sense that the author received a lot of characterisation notes from Chris Sonnenburg, because little Flynn does feel very similar to the Eugene we know; only the Eugene we know is an adult man who has since grown out of his Flynn Rider persona. But the Flynn Rider persona he needed to grow out of isn't something that ought to be cast aside entirely!! Stop being cowards!!
Taking a step back, the whole premise of the book is kind of a paradox- because Eugene needs to become Flynn Rider before he can learn to embrace his authentic self, but Flynn Rider isn't hero material, he isn't a good guy, he's not the right protagonist for a story for kids. So what we get isn't Flynn Rider, it's really just Eugene trying on a new name. That works for the beginning of the story, because he is just Eugene trying on a new name, but he doesn't grow into it.
At the beginning of the story, Eugene is an orphan in a poor but still functional orphanage run by a kind old lady, and he is surrounded by nice little boys. Eugene is motivated to leave and get a job by a desire to send funds back to the orphanage, and when he joins the Baron's circus he's taken aback to learn he's among thieves. Here's where I thought: okay, this might get interesting. We might be getting a G-rated 'angel falls from heaven' story about Eugene being morally corrupted by the Baron, of learning that the world outside is tough and he needs to look out for himself first and foremost-
but no. The Baron shares his plan to steal the reward money for the Lost Princess, because all the people he's surrounded himself with are already criminals who don't give a shit, but Eugene thinks that this is going too far! What about that poor lost princess who people need an incentive to search for? (he's like, projecting about his own parent issues which is fair, but still). And so the story ends with Eugene turning on the Baron to return the money to the "right" people (aka the king and queen of a kingdom?? okay) but he takes a single golden egg for himself so he can send it to the orphanage.
Which is all sweet and nice but. He still has to become Flynn Rider, asshole extraordinaire. He still has to lose his morals to the point where he'd take an inexperienced young woman to a pub that he, in this book, recognises is a dangerous place in the hopes that he can ditch her. He still has to go and become a wanted thief and rejoin the Baron and then ditch Stalyan on their wedding night.
The reason I'm going on about this so much is that the appeal of Eugene to me is that he is this good guy who wants to be a better person for the people he loves, but that means recognising that he has behaviour he needs to change, and his development is meaningful for that. Watering him down to a righteous Robin Hood hero does him a disservice.
The Real Villain Was Capitalism All Along
I will not elaborate nor should I

DATING GOT7 HEADCANON A⇴Z ⇴ BamBam
Tumblr media
A ⇴ AFFECTION
BamBam is more than happy to cling to you, he loves any type of attention, and if affection gives it to him, he’ll happily take it. The second you leave him he’ll pout and groan until you’re back with him once again.
B ⇴ BEFORE DATING
He was full of confidence, which quickly pulled your attention towards him at the event you both attended. He tried to play it cool, but he could feel your eyes looking in his direction, enjoying the attention you gave him. Being BamBam, he couldn’t help but push things a little more, but when he tripped over his own leg, he quickly regretted it.
C ⇴ CONFESSION
After his little mishap, he thought it was game over for trying to impress you, but when you appeared in front of him with a drink to check if he was alright, he was beyond surprised. BamBam quickly pulled himself together, shrugging it off as no big deal even if his ankle throbbed. He invited you to sit with him whilst he accepted the drink, and after talking for a while, he asked if you wanted to get out of the place with him.
D ⇴ DATES
There’s never a boring date with BamBam, he loves fun, and loves spoiling you too which creates the perfect conversation. He equally loves active and recreational dates, but also is fond to a nice restaurant where he can show you a different, much calmer side to him. He hates dates at home, he likes getting out and doing things, and exploring with you. You worry sometimes about being out in public so often for your dates, but BamBam is always quick to reassure you and put your mind at ease, putting your safety as his biggest priority.
E ⇴ EXPERIENCE
He’d had a few dates, maybe a couple of passionate nights, but nothing as serious as things were with you. He quite enjoyed being a flirt and having so much attention, but that all changed when he met you. He couldn’t quite put his finger on what it was about you that changed his personality so much, but he loved having a serious relationship. He loved waking up in the morning and still having someone there, or if he was having a hard time, knowing he had someone to talk to. After being with you, he never wanted to go back to being just the flirt again.
F ⇴ FIGHTING
There were times when BamBam could definitely be quite stubborn, but that never meant he liked arguing with you. If things began to get quite serious, he’d try to crack a joke or nervously laugh to brighten up the mood again, but when you didn’t smile back at him, he knew he was in trouble. He was usually a very calm and relaxed person but when you didn’t react and decided to drag out an argument longer than he wanted to then he’d get a bit frustrated, deciding to leave the room for a while and try again once the two of you had had some time apart to try and relax and clear your minds a bit.
G ⇴ GETTING TO KNOW HIS FAMILY
You’d only ever met his family through calls and Skype, which BamBam hated. He couldn’t wait for the day when he could take you home and introduce you to all of his family. Similarly, they couldn’t wait to meet you either, each of them was desperate to be able to hug you in person and thank you for putting up with BamBam.
H ⇴ HOME
He never thought too much about you moving in with him, until after the first night you stayed over. He had butterflies for the rest of the day, the feeling of waking up beside you, and seeing how you both seamlessly settled into a routine around each other was something he definitely felt he could get used to.
I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”
BamBam was the first one to say, ‘I love you,’ just as he left for tour. He didn’t know when he’d have the chance to see you or speak to you as he moved halfway around the world, and for him, there were no words greater to leave you with than those. The best bit was grabbing his phone when he landed to see you’d text, letting him know you loved him too.
J ⇴ JEALOUSY
No on tried harder to mask their jealousy then BamBam, but as soon as you’d confront him about it and the nervous laugh would appear again, you knew exactly what was happening. He’d slowly move closer towards you when he began to get jealous, little showers of affection would arrive that usually didn’t happen, and he’d talk to you, and only you, as much as possible. Each time he knew he’d get a lecture about how he had no reason to feel jealous when you were alone again, but sometimes he just couldn’t help the feeling.
K ⇴ KIDS
Having children was another subject he tried to remain calm about, but secretly he couldn’t wait for the day when he had little ones around for him to spoil. Whenever you asked him what he was thinking about he’d just say it was nothing but judging by his smile you knew he was thinking about something. Seeing you around children as well always made him smile, he knew there was no one else he wanted to have a family with.
L ⇴ LAUGHTER
He loved to laugh and joke around, there were very few things in the world that BamBam found serious. Knowing that he made you smile, and laugh was the greatest honour for him, it didn’t matter how he did it, just knowing that he was the reason for it was enough. As already mentioned, he hated awkward tension or serious moments, so he’d often use his laughter and humour to try and bring a bit of light back to a situation, even if it wasn’t quite right for the situation, he’d do anything to get rid of the silences and tension.
M ⇴ MISSING
Before his first trip away from you, BamBam was pretty confident he’d be fine considering he’d spent years away from his family now. For the first couple of days, he was fine, but when he fell asleep in his hotel room alone for the first time, having spent the first few nights rooming with Yugyeom, he really began to miss you. The feeling of not having someone there with him through him completely, and then he began to spiral. All the little things that he began to take for granted with you by his side, built up every day. He never realised how much he actually depended on you being around until you were no longer there.
N ⇴ NICKNAMES
You tended to just call BamBam, ‘bam,’ considering he was so fond of his nickname anyway. He loved to call you, ‘princess,’ it would always make you chuckle, and make sure you knew he loved to spoil you.
O ⇴ OBSESSION
He was obsessed with your bum, he loved to lay over it or rest his hands against it when you weren’t expecting it, always making you jump and squeal.
P ⇴ PDA
No one could ever stop BamBam from being affectionate with you in public, he didn’t care at all what others thought. If he wanted to kiss you, he would, or if he wanted to wrap his arm around you, he’d do without a second thought. He wasn’t afraid to show you he loved you, no matter where the two of you were.
Q ⇴ QUESTIONS
He’d love to ask for your opinion on the things he wore and his style. Shopping with BamBam at times was a nightmare, he was very meticulous on the things he wore, spending hours through the aisles, asking your opinion each time.
R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS
Being bilingual, BamBam was able to write in many languages, which often impressed you. In one of the languages that you couldn’t understand, he’d often leave little notes around for you to translate. It was a habit he often had when he was going on tour, scattering little notes around to remind you he loved you. He especially loved when you got the translations wrong and he’d have to sit and explain to you what it actually said.
S ⇴ SEX
He loved to try and dominate as he saw it as an opportunity to show off in front of you. Especially with how much his body has changed recently, he loves to impress you with his strength and move you around by lifting you high in the air. He craves a lot of attention, he wants to be able to feel your hands explore his body and feel your lips trace across his skin, just like he always does with you.
T ⇴ TEXTS
You’d receive many texts throughout the day from BamBam if you were busy. If he was at home alone, he’d ask you to come over, and beg you to finish your day at work sooner so that he could see you and cuddle you.
U ⇴ UNIVERSE
He was very much a people person, who had plenty of friends, but out of all of them, every time, he’d choose you. No one connected with him like you did or understood all his quirks the way you’d learnt to.
V ⇴ VACATION
The minute BamBam had the chance to go on vacation, he was desperate to take you home. Weeks of planning had gone into your vacation to Thailand, both from him, but also his family. He promised you the adventure of a lifetime as he showed you all the places that meant the most to him, being able to make new memories with you.
W ⇴ WHINING
He loved attention, if he didn’t have your attention, he’d do absolutely anything to make sure he had it, he didn’t have any boundaries.
X ⇴ XXXXX
Again, he was very affectionate and clingy, and his kisses were no different. Luckily for him, you were absolutely obsessed with his lips and how they felt against your skin. Bambam’s kisses were often playful and teasing, inviting you for more, but he also knew when to give you something a bit more loving, especially if you’d had a bad day or you were beginning to fall asleep.
Y ⇴ YOU
You were the Pebbles to his BamBam, the two of you were the perfect match.
Z ⇴ ZZZ
He sought great comfort from having you there beside him at night, he’d always like to have some sort of contact with you, even if it was just being able to hold your hand under the duvet, he’d take anything he could get.

⚠️⚠️SDR2 SPOILERS⚠️⚠️
How I would have done a blackened Sonia
All right, so, I never thought Sonia was going to survive till the end of the game. She seemed suspicious to me in every trial and I felt she always had possible ways of killing the victim that were less far fetched then some of the actual killers.
She also seemed easy to kill, she is a princess with 0 real world experience so fooling her into being in dangerous situations would be easy. Being a foreigner as well, means you could get away with some bullshit saying it was just cultural difference.
I know Kazuichi is the easy route, but I think it would be interesting if she killed him.
I'm thinking specially about chapter 4, where she would have been the killer instead of Gundham. In part because when I played I thought that Gundham is was dumb to make an elaborate kill like Nekomaru's. However, I would make Gundham the most suspect person in this one case.
Since he and Sonia spent a long time together that chapter for the first time, it makes a quick correlation between him, her and Kazuichi.
The circumstances of Kazuichi's death would be:
-He is found dead stabbed on the chest, laying in his own bed;
-He is found with strange blood splatters in his suit. His arm is close to his body, but the blood splatters in his sleeve and chest form a big and unusual angle.
-his knees are pointing to the wall, close to the end of the bed, but the knife is in his chest, so if the person was sat in the bed they would have had to reach around him to kill him, or he really was stabbed while laying on his back.
In my version, I'd add more scenes to the chapter: one of some of the students playing with Gundham's hamsters, probably Hajime, someone from strawberry house and Kazuichi himself, adding a new clue:
-He has white, grey and brown fur on his hand/sleeve.
The other scene would be very minor, Kazuichi would go explore the Straeberry house together (as usual the victim spends more time with the protagonist before their death). Kazuichi and Hajime have a very awkward time since Kazuichi is clearly so suspicious of Hinata since the last trial. They never solve this weird tension and it keeps bugging Hinata after the trial because he knows Kazuichi wanted to believe him because of the talk they had during exploring the house.
During the exploration of the strawberry house/grape house there is a throw away line mentioning that Kazuichi paints his nails very poorly. Which leads me to the new clue about the body:
-Kazuichi's nails are perfectly painted black.
Someone beside's Nagito still has used the final room and someone notes that one of Kazuichi's tools is missing from his toolbox, that Kazuichi has mentioned to Hajime that he is proud to still complete (he is clumsy, he loses stuff sometimes). The elevator is broken in the grape house.
Now to the trial:
Sonia is one of the very first accused, but is quickly considered innocent since she wasnt part of the playing with the 4 devas of destruction scene. She even assumes she isnt as sad as she would be for his death like he was from previous victims, but that is shrugged off since he did bother her a lot and she was never seen being mean to him.
As I said, Gundham is suspect n°1. The fur in Kazuichi's hand/ sleeve is the collor of the 4 devas of destruction, though the other person in the scene and Hajime are also framed and considered suspects (mainly Hajme, since he also searched the houses with Kazuichi).
Out of the ones left, who else wears black nail polish? Gundham of course. Someone reveals that they did see Gundham entering his room, but all the other floors of the house where occupied and no one saw him in them beforehand.
I already told you Sonia is guilty, and I think part of the reason they move away from her so soon would be that often the game comes up with weird complicated tangents that distract from the real case, but the cases are often stupidly complicated as well, so this would get the player off their rithym by actually being one of the easiest things to explain.
"The elevator was stuck in grape house, but he died in strawberry house. The murdered probably made it stop on grape house as a red herring!" How did he do that? Idk, but they assume that's it and latter have to return and remember theres no proof of a way someone in strawberry house could make the elevator stop at grape house.
"Sonia wasnt playing with the hamsters, the fur in Kazuichi's sleeve was probably from that moment" Sonia didnt play with the dark devas, but that doesnt mean she couldn't have done it in another moment, when she was hanging out with Gundham.
"How would have Gundham gotten inside Kazuichi's room?" First conclusion is that he offered to paint Souda's nails as a excuse to get in his room.
And heres the thing: he was indeed the one who painted Kazuichi's nails, it even happened in Kazuichi's room. The someone who saw him enters his room did actually see him coming back from Kazuichi's room, but at that moment Kazuichi was still alive.
What happened was: Sonia went to Kazuichi's room after Gundham left, because she knew Gundham was going there, he mentioned it to her when they explored the houses together.
She gets in the room and plays a little with Kazuichi, pretends to be interested, gives him some affection and he ends up laying on her lap, which makes things easy when she finally stabs him.
Theres 2 ways you could play this out, the Souda x Gundham way and the non shipy way.
So if you are not interest in the shiping side, heres how I would do it: Gundham doesnt like seeing people fight, it's part of his nurturing nature, he offers to paint Kazuichi's nails as a peace offering and to explain he isnt romantically interested in Sonia, as well as to ask him to not doubt Hinata either, since he can sense (as in: knows by his body lenguage) that Hajime doesnt plan on hurting anyone, much less Kazuichi who he considers a friend.
Sonia did approach Gundham for an interest in his obscure aesthetic and the thing about raising animals that is important for courtship rituals in her country, that she mentions in her free time event. But when Gundham tells her he wants to talk to Kazuichi she is an opportunity to frame him for the murder, she is already reached her boiling point with Kazuichi, even if she doesnt show it (like celeste).
Like celeste, she has been desperate to leave the game (as she also mentions in her free time event). She feels the responsibility to come back to her country, that she cant leave her people without a governor and she finally saw a chance of escaping the island.
Ok, shippy way: Sonia is jealous of Kazuichi because Gundham tells her he has a crush on Kazuichi. And Sonia has a crush on Gundham.
She cant stand Kazuichi anymore, all her life people have pretend to be her friends/lovers to gain her trust and favours, she doesnt trust anyone who is too enthusiastic about being close to her. That's why she likes Gundham, he is mysterious and quiet and she feels she has to conquer him instead of having him lead her on for favours.
Gundham is pretty bad at expressing his feelings but (as seen in his free time events) he is also clearly starved for affection. Kazuichi seems to have a grudge against him and Gundham admires that he is so enthusiastic about how much he likes Sonia, and fuck dude, he wants someone to be in love with him like that.
Sonia is completely done with Kazuichi already, and kills him out of anger and jealousy. He got Gundham interested in him despite being annoying all the time and she feels like he was stealing Gundham from her right when she was able to conquer his friendship.
She likes true crime, she has seen lots of stories of people murdering others for love, she even thinks its romantic.
So yeah, that's it. Its kinds dumb but I think it's ok since so many of the cases in the game are already dumb.

Meant to Be (Charlie Weasley x OC)
What happens when Bill brings home a girl and Charlie is completely awestruck by her?
WARNINGS: mentions of alcohol, curse words, angst
Chapter 9
Charlie
On the Saturday after the week Rhylee found out about the trial, I woke up early. I looked through my window and saw a cloudless sky. It was the perfect opportunity to hike up to my favorite spot and watch the sunrise. I have been so busy all week that I simply didn’t find the time to do it and I missed it so much.
I got dressed and made myself some coffee. I stretched and went outside. I took a long whiff of fresh air. It does wonders to the lungs. I loved that it was getting warmer. The Summer breeze was just around the corner. I started walking toward the hill.
I loved living here because it wasn’t as hot in the Summer as in most places. After all, we were surrounded by mountains but at the same time, we didn’t get that much rain and it was rarely windy because we were in the valley, hidden from the rest of the world.
Surrounded by nature, magic, and dragons. What a perfect life.
I felt so energized this morning. I don’t know why, but I was in a better mood than I was most days this past week. I slept well and I was excited to watch the sunrise. I wish Aami was still just a baby, I would love to bring him along.
I did it once. Nobody knows about it because Peter would probably kill me but since Aami can’t fly, I couldn’t resist. He walked around, his eyes on me as I explained why I liked to sit on a rock and stare at the sun. It was one of my fondest memories of him.
I came to the top and put my hands on my knees, panting. A week without hiking or going for a run and I was already out of shape.
Come on, Charlie!
I looked up, to see how the sun was progressing and wanted to take a step closer to the place where I usually sit when I stopped.
I stood frozen on the spot as if someone stupefied me. It was Rhylee. She was sitting on the same boulder, waiting for the sunrise as I usually was. Why was she here?
Wasn’t it enough that I was spending so much time with her already? I know I brought it on myself when I offered to help her with the case but I couldn’t say no to her. I couldn’t gaze into those beautiful eyes of hers and tell her that I won’t help her.
But I was not okay with this. She can’t take this away from me too. This was my happy place. The place where I came to empty my head and forget about my worries. The fact that I had feelings for her was one of my biggest concerns these days and her being here meant I can’t let go of that.
There is no way she saw me. If I turn around and sneak away she will never know I was here and I can go find a new spot from where to watch the sunrise from.
Yes, that’s what I’ll do! I turned around and started walking back down the hill.
“Charlie? Is that you?”
Fuck. How did she hear me?
I slowly turned back around, cursing my heart for not obeying me to just beat normally, and waved at her.
“Hi.”
Could I be more awkward? Charlie, you’re such a git!
“Is this the place you were describing when you told me you go sunrise watching?” She said gently. I can’t believe she remembered that I told her that. I just nodded. “Want to join me?”
Not really, Rhylee.
I would rather roll myself back down to the village than sit next to you and watch the bloody sunrise.
Did I do that?
No.
Her smile won. It always does.
I can’t resist her lips curving into a hopeful expression, indicating that she would love to spend time with me. I’m too weak and I didn’t care. I hated myself for it but I couldn’t help it. Most days it felt like an invisible string was drawing me toward her and I couldn’t get away.
I wanted to be around her all the time. I wanted to talk to her and make her laugh. I wanted to hug her and touch the soft skin of her cheeks. I wanted to kiss her forehead and hold her hand.
I wanted to be with her.
“Charlie?” I blinked at her when I heard her say my name. “Join me.”
She said, more determined this time, and patted the spot on the rock next to her. I moved as fast as my legs allowed me, which wasn’t very fast at all. They felt like jelly. I wanted to melt, that’s how beautiful she was.
I awkwardly sat down next to her, looking straight at the sunrise. I know she was scanning me with her eyes, waiting for me to look at her but I couldn’t. Every time I did, I started overthinking. She always looked at me differently than the rest of our friends.
I always felt as if she was trying to read me, to know what I was thinking. I constantly felt like she wanted to talk about everything else with me but our job or dragons but she always stopped herself as if she was afraid she would say something that she isn’t supposed to.
I know I was an idiot but I didn’t do anything about it. I felt the same way for Merlin’s sake! But I couldn’t talk to her. I can’t. She’s my co-worker and it’s been more than 2 years since we slept together.
It’s also been two years since I saw Bill.
Just thinking about it made me sick. I despised myself for the fact that I didn’t visit him. That I couldn’t talk to him. That I couldn’t tell him. I don’t even want to know what my family thinks or if he said anything to them about me.
I went home for Easter last year just because I knew he wouldn’t be there. How horrible does that make me? I think I reached rock bottom a long time ago and I was terrified that I wouldn’t be able to come back up.
I think about taking a few days off and visiting him every single day.
Every. Single. Day.
And yet I never bring myself to do it. After 2 years, what would I even say to him? He was the nicest and the most forgiving person I know but he wouldn’t forgive me and I wouldn’t blame him.
Why would he?
First, I sleep with the girl he likes, and then I disappear off the face of the Earth for 2 years. I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs that’s how much it hurt. I basically tore my family apart.
My family. People who meant more than anything to me in this world.
“You’re quiet today.” Rhylee’s gentle voice and nudge to my shoulder brought me back to reality.
“Huh?” I turned to her. “Yeah. Sorry. A lot on my mind.” I smiled weakly, feeling the heat on my cheeks.
“Anything you want to share?” She asked, concerned.
“No.” I said quickly. Too quickly.
That wasn’t the word I wanted to use. I wanted to say yes. I wanted to tell her how I feel about her. I wanted her to know that I still feel guilty about what I did to Bill. I wanted to tell her that I wish we would’ve met under different circumstances. How much I wish I was the one who met her first. How beautiful she was and how she takes my breath away no matter what she wears or what she does. I wanted to tell her all of that and so much more but instead…
“I usually come here to clear my head, that’s all.” That’s what I said instead.
Because I’m an idiot.
Because of all the guilt that I can’t let go of.
Because I don’t deserve her.
Because I am absolutely and without a single doubt in love with her.
“You want me to leave?” She started to get up.
“No.” I grabbed her wrist to make her stay. “I’m just not used to anyone else being up here.” The first truth that came out of my mouth today.
“I can’t believe nobody is.” She shook her head in disbelief. “I felt like exploring this morning and I stumbled upon this place just as the sun started to rise. It took my breath away.”
Like you take mine?
“It’s just so calming. Makes you forget about all your troubles, you know.” She glanced at me but quickly looked away.
She took a deep breath and I could feel her moving a bit away from me.
“Thank you for putting so much of your time to help me, Charlie.” She said with a husky voice after I didn’t say anything back. “I wouldn’t be able to do it without you. You give me so much hope.”
Don’t say that, please.
“I…”
I turned my head to her.
There it was. That look in her eyes. The look that told me that she had so many things to say but no words to express herself. She had moments like this every now and then when we were alone. As if she remembered something and wanted to talk about it but couldn’t for some reason. As if something stopped her. As if she was afraid of what I might say back.
“I just wish life was easier, you know.” She sighed and leaned on my shoulder.
I tried hard not to react to her touch. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of our bodies touching. It was the most I will ever get the chance to experience.
I hummed in response. I didn’t know what she meant by that. I didn’t know what she was referring to. To be honest I don’t think I wanted to know. I wasn’t ready. I don’t think I’ll ever be.
“I asked around and there is a big library in the village over that mountain.” I pointed my finger to our left.
I could feel her head moving to see where I was pointing but she didn’t pull away from me. It felt as if she wanted to be even closer.
“I was thinking of going there on Monday during lunch. Perhaps find some books that could help our case. Your case.” I quickly corrected myself.
“Thank you for being such an amazing friend, Charlie.” I felt something shatter inside me when she called me her friend but at the same time, I felt relief.
I can finally stop questioning if there is something between us and stop overthinking all of her gestures and looks. I can relax around her and just be myself because I know she sees me as a friend. No more pressure. No more feeling guilty. Who knew I would love to be in the friendzone. Now that she said it, she can lean on my shoulder and hug me as much as she wants to.
I have been stifling my feelings for 2 years. I was used to it by now and this was my sign that I was doing the right thing. At least someone didn’t hate me.
“No problem and right back at you.”
Seriously, Charlie? This is the best you can come up with?
We sat in silence and admired the sunrise until we had to go to work. We walked down the hill in silence too. If I think about it, I don’t think we said a single word to each other the whole day.
I joined the boys in the tavern after work and she wasn’t there. I had this strange feeling that it had something to do with this morning but I have to stop thinking about it. I have to change some things about myself. I was too young to go through so much bullshit and I only got myself to blame for it. I have to stop beating my head over her. I have to stop bringing myself down. I have to stop feeling so guilty and own up to my mistakes.
I have to get my shit together and talk to Bill. I need my brother back. I need my best friend back. I have been so selfish, feeling sorry for myself that I didn’t even think how he must feel about all of this. Who goes from spending Christmas together to not seeing his brother for 2 years?
“Charlie, you alright, mate?” I turned my head to John, sitting next to me.
“Yeah. A bit tired.” I yawned. “Been busy with Rhylee’s trial case.” I lied.
The last time I talked about my feelings to them was that night when Rhylee started working here and if I have anything to do with it, it will never happen again.
“You two have been spending a lot of time together.” Theo winked at me, moving his glass from his right to his left hand.
“As I said, we have been working on the case together.” I acted unphased by his mockery.
“Come on, Charlie! We’re not blind.” Andrew joined in.
Great. I love when they corner me like this.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I sighed and gulped down my whiskey.
I didn’t drink enough to have a conversation of this sort and I will do anything to stop it.
“Right.” Peter rolled his eyes. “Let’s all pretend like Charlie does that nothing is going on between him and Rhylee.”
“You mean how they look at each other when they think the other person isn’t looking?” Evan smirked.
“Or the fact that they keep blushing every time they see each other?” Added John.
“Or how they just can’t stop their smiles from spreading across their faces when their eyes meet.” Theo made a kissy face.
“Are you done?” I poured myself another drink.
“Oh, we can go on all night, that’s how much is going on between you two.”
Peter, you might be my boss but I will strangle you. Next on the list was my heart which was now beating so fast that I started shaking.
“As I said…are you done?” I said without a single ounce of interest in my voice.
“Why do you keep denying it?” John cried.
“I didn’t say anything.” If they can mess with me I can mess with them back.
“You really like to torture yourself, don’t you?” Evan frowned at me.
“Mhm.” I said with a clenched jaw.
I was a rat’s hair away from standing up and leaving.
“Charlie, this is not some silly crush anymore. We know you have feelings for her.” Peter never sounded so serious before.
“We know you like her, Charlie. A lot.” John put a hand on my shoulder. “It’s all over your face, mate.”
“Like her.” I scoffed.
“You’re seriously going to deny it?” Andrew rolled his eyes. “You’re going to say you don’t like her?”
“Like her?” I raised my voice. “I don’t like her, Andrew! I…” Damn, they made me mad sometimes! Why do they have to be such noisy gits and why do I feel like talking about Rhylee to them? “I’m in love with her.” I said under my breath but I know they could hear me.
“Then what are you doing here sitting with us and not telling her that?” John said gently after a long pause.
I think they were shocked that I admitted it.
I looked up at them. They were patiently waiting for my response. They weren’t serious, were they?
“I can’t just knock on her door and tell her how I feel.” I shook my head and chugged down my whiskey.
“Yes, Charlie. You can!” They said together.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I poured myself another glass of whiskey. I drank it as fast as I could, their eyes following my every move.
“Fuck it.” I stood up and they started clapping.
I was already miserable and at this point had nothing to lose. Might as well try right?
I walked over to her hut as fast as I could before I would change my mind. I stopped on her front porch and I wanted to bang my head against the wall.
Can I do this?
Am I really doing this?
Am I actually that insane?
I knocked on the door and turned on my heel. I wanted to run. I can’t do this. My chest was rising and falling fast from my heavy breathing and my heart is going to jump out of it any second now. This was taking too long. She’s obviously not home. I’m leaving.
I put my hands in my pockets, ready to head home when…
“Charlie?”

mean it. (sfw)
a/n:  welcome to the sfw version! it has been modified to cover all of the character development that happens while these two chatty cathies are gettin down ‘n dirty with it. this has been my favorite ajf fic so far, and will conclude the berry hill section of the story. we’ll have two more fics that take place in 2011 following this one, but they won't be so explicitly part of this arc - just fun little early-relationship ‘we’re still keeping this from the team’ moments. i am SO excited to share this with you. (here’s the nsfw version, for our friends who are grown ups!)
words: 7k warnings: implied smut, some making out on the couch, language, light drinking/alcohol use summary: the levy breaks.
masterlist | a joyful future masterlist | requests closed!
You brush past him into the apartment, turning on him when you reach the middle of the living room. He closes the door and faces you, looking drawn and exhausted. You know Jack’s gone - staying with Jessica until tomorrow afternoon, so this is your only opportunity to lay into him the way you want to.
“When did you know?”
He sighs and scrubs a hand over his face. Your name leaves his mouth in a tired sigh.
You know he flew back in an uncomfortable supply transport for close to fifteen hours. You know he hasn’t slept in close to three days. You know this is the last thing he needs, but there’s too much anger and hurt and exhaustion in your chest to not pick a fight about something, anything. “Stop. Answer me.”
“Last week. I knew last week.”
You cross your arms. “So when you called to check in four days ago you couldn’t have, I dunno, shared that with us?”
He lets out a dissatisfied chuff, unable to answer.
“We spent months without you, Aaron. Months.” And what horrible months they were. “It was so hard, and I missed you so much.” Your voice breaks, and you take a shaky breath, your hurt overriding your caution. “I missed you so much I couldn’t breathe.”
His eyes meet yours with a hurt and fire that mirrors your own. All you can do is grab his face and kiss him.
He gasps as he pulls you toward him, his hands tight on your hips. You know you’ll have bruises later and the thought only drives you further. The kiss is brutal - you bite at his lips, your tongue laving over his with an aggression you hardly recognize in yourself. Your tears mix in with the taste of him - bitter coffee and something achingly familiar. His beard is rough against your hands and cheeks and neck as he moves from your mouth, giving you room to breathe as he explores your overheated skin. The beard is an element of this you weren’t expecting, and it’s not unwelcome in the slightest.
Almost all of you wishes these were different circumstances, that your first kiss would be gentle and soft and full of laughter.
When has anything with him been typical? When has anything ever been the way you wanted?
Then, God, he’s good at this.
Bastard.
When he reaches your pulse point, you raise your hands and yank on his hair. He lets out a loud groan, and you attack his mouth again. His hands roughly crawl up your back, fingers digging into the skin of your shoulders and ribs. Aaron is everywhere - the only thing you can feel, the only thing you can hear.
“I can’t stand you,” you whisper against his mouth.
(You don’t mean it.)
Aaron huffs, and it's almost a laugh. He kisses you roughly. “I know.”
(He knows.)
You pull back from him and shove, and he tumbles back onto his couch. His pupils are blown, his lips red and swollen, hair a mess. You know you don’t look much better, likely with blossoming hickies on your neck, not to mention the beard burn.
There’s a flintiness in Aaron’s eyes when you meet them again, like he’s daring you to make your next move.
The breath leaving you is heavy and hot. You’ve never been angrier in your life, and yet you’ve never wanted him more. You just want to be close to him - to feel him. He was away for so long and you hate to admit it, but you missed him like you’d miss a limb. The beard also inspires something in you that’s almost embarrassing in its intensity. You shelve the thought for the time being.
You pounce into his lap, straddling him.
“What are you doing?” He asks, like he already knows the answer, his mouth at your collarbone.
Unexpectedly, the tears start up again, and your breath catches in a sob. “I want you. I can barely look at you right now, but I still want you. I always have.”
He softens for a moment, his eyes melting as they meet yours. He cups your face in his hand, brushing your tears away with his thumb. You lean into his touch and your eyes flutter shut. The wind has been knocked almost entirely out of your sails, but he’s always had that effect on you.
His lips brush against yours. “While I’d much rather we do this when you’re not considering homicide,” his words make your mouth twitch up into a small smile, “I want you so badly.” He kisses you again, and you melt into him, pressing your chest to his. “Years,” he punctuates every assertion with kisses, “years, years, and years of wanting you.”
You tip your head back, looking him in the eye again. “I’m not any less mad at you.”
“I know.” He nods, and kisses the underside of your jaw. “Will you let me show you how sorry I am? For everything?”
A sigh leaves you and with it comes a breathless, “Yes.”
Holding you close, he stands and you link your ankles around his back. He never once lifts his lips from your skin as he carries you to the bedroom. You’ve always known he was strong, but the ease with which he carries you sends a shot of heat through your belly.
You rest your cheek on his temple as he paints kisses all over your neck and collarbone. You can feel the apology in them. With a little bit of a start, you realize you can feel the love in them, too.
He reaches the bedroom, and lays you down on his gray linen duvet without acknowledging anything in the room that isn’t you.
+++
After, there’s a reverence to the way he cleans you up. He’s gentle with you in a way you knew he would be, but never expected. Even the sting of the water against the developing beard-burn is soothed with warm hands and kisses.
He stretches out on the bed beside you when you’re both clean and refreshed. The scene is almost identical to one ten months prior, back at Berry Hill.
You tuck your arm under your head and turn to face him. Your eyes are heavy, but you know he has more to say, more to share with you.
He stares at the ceiling as he speaks. “There was only one way to keep Emily safe, and it was for all of us to believe she was dead. If JJ and I had shared the truth with anyone,” he looks over at you and slips his hand into yours before turning his gaze back to the ceiling, “even you, there was a great chance she could have been killed before she completed her mission.”
You nod. “I understand.”
“I know that it doesn’t make it any easier. I hated every second.” He rolls to his side, and tips his forehead to yours. “I hated knowing I had the power to make your hurt go away, but couldn’t use it. I’m so sorry for lying to you. I’m sorry for leaving. I’m so sorry.” His eyes close, and you wrap around him.
You know that there was no way to go about protecting Emily without this lie. It made all the sense in the world. You couldn’t be angry with him for that - not for saving Emily like he did. In fact, you admired it. The very thought of lying to him like that was a Herculean feat. You had no idea how he managed it.
Pakistan. That’s how he managed it.
Right.
A few more tears escape your eyes, but Aaron can’t see them with your head tucked under his chin. He does, however, feel them against the bare skin of his chest. He can only guess at what you’re thinking. Shame slogs through his whole body and tears fall out of his eyes too, landing on the pillow underneath his head. He takes a shuddering breath, and your arms wind tighter around him.
He’s sure your position can’t be comfortable, one arm and one leg trapped under his body, your head at an odd angle. He rolls onto his back, taking you with him. You tuck your arms into yourself and your legs tangle together as you curl up against him with your head on his chest.
Eventually, and you’re not sure how exactly, you both end up under the covers. Despite the difficult day, despite the tears, despite the inevitable nightmare waiting for you at the bureau tomorrow, you sleep.
+++
When you wake up in the morning, you’re wrapped in his arms. He’s awake, tracing patterns on your hip with his fingers. Your bodies are flush together - legs tangled, his chest against your back, your hips slotted together.
“Good morning,” he says.
He loosens his hold on you just enough for you to turn in his arms, and you tuck yourself back into him, throwing a leg over his hip to maintain proximity. It elicits a small laugh from him. “Good morning.”
“Breakfast?”
Your brow pulls. “Don’t we have to go in?”
He sighs deeply. “Check your email.”
Uh oh.
You throw an arm out, finding your phone on the table beside you, charging.
When on Earth did he do that?
The man is a magician.
Scrolling through your email, you find the one he’s talking about, sent at 6am sharp this morning.
FROM: Erin Strauss SUBJECT: Suspension - Effective Immediately Pending Senate Investigation
You tip your head back in frustration before reading through it, but the subject (albeit long) pretty much sums it up. “Goddamn it.” You turn back to Aaron. “Can’t we go one month without some kind of forced unpaid vacation?”
He huffs a laugh and shrugs. “Guess not. On the bright side...breakfast?”
+++
You twist back and forth on the barstool, your chin in your hands. You’re wearing one of his shirts and a pair of Haley’s pajama pants (it’s surprisingly less weird than you thought), watching him put together an elaborate breakfast spread of fruit, bagels, eggs, and turkey sausage.
At your first questioning glance, he informed you that Jess had stocked the fridge the day prior upon notification of his return.
Very considerate. But then again, it's Jess.
You, of course, expected nothing less from her and look forward to seeing her later this afternoon. You’d grown close in Aaron’s absence, as Jack asked for you often and you were, of course, happy to oblige his requests. There was more than one happy side-effect from Aaron’s task force assignment, and a new-found friend in Jess is one of them.
Aaron places a plate in front of you, and rounds the island with his own. You thank him and dig in. Apparently, your outburst really took it out of you last night in addition to certain...other activities that required significant sums of energy.
When you’re done, he turns toward you and takes your hands in his. “This may be a bad time, but do you want to talk about us at all?” The little emphasis on us sends a shot of something warm through you, but panic follows on its heels.
“Can we just...be? Right now? I want to make sure we can keep our heads screwed on straight and settle back into normal before we say anything to the others.”
He nods with a solemn finality. There’s no hurt in his eyes, only disappointment. You have a strong suspicion it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with him. “I understand.”
You swallow and look down at your hands. “I just - I just need some time.”
“Okay.” He gently tugs you forward and you stand between his knees. “Take all the time you need. I’ll be here. And I swear, I’ll spend the rest of my life making this up to you if I have to.”
“I know.” The corner of your mouth pulls up in a smile.
He kisses your knuckles and his breath washes over them. “This may go without saying, but...” he pauses, meeting your eyes. “I love you.”
A little huff of laughter leaves you, and something eases a little in your chest. “I love you, too.” With a little tip of your head, you concede, “I promise, no matter how much I hate you, I love you more.”
He smiles. “That’s good to know.”
You release his hands and wrap your arms around his neck, tucking your face into his shoulder. His hands cover a broad swath of your back, holding you to him with an even pressure that all-but alleviates your remaining anxiety.
“I missed you.”
He kisses your shoulder. “I missed you too. Every day. All the time.”
No matter what, he loves you.
He loves you.
+++
You end up going to the office before Jack gets home to pick up any random items you’ll need in the weeks of suspension to come. You don’t think too hard about it, grabbing your extra set of clothes from your go bag and jumping into Aaron’s car.
Aaron hops up the stairs to his office while you gather your necessaries from your desk in the bullpen. You feel someone approach from behind you, and you smile when you find Emily.
“Hey,” she says, as if she’s not sure how she’ll be received.
You gather her up in your arms, and she relaxes into you. “Hi.”
She pulls back, her eyes narrow. “Where were you last night?”
“What?” Your brow furrows, and you realize with only a little alarm that you haven’t showered.
Her squint deepens. “You don’t smell like yourself. You smell like…” she pauses, thinking, “...sex and a handsome man. Who is he?” An eyebrow raises, questioning and playful.
“I worked out this morning and didn’t shower - I didn’t think I’d run into anyone today, seeing as we’re all suspended.” You reach around her for a stack of files, tucking them in your arms.
She refuses to give it up, acting your shadow as you go to the kitchen for your favorite mug. “Oh, nuh uh. You’re not about to use my own excuse on me.”
Shit. That is her excuse, isn’t it?
Yep.
“Emily, I’m not seeing anyone.” And it’s the truth. Hotch almost walks out of his office, but lingers by the door. He’s already overheard a little bit of Emily’s interrogation and figures the opportunity is too good to pass up. Already suppressing a smile, he settles in for the show.
“Oh, please! You totally got laid last night. Who is he?” She’s basically chasing you around the bullpen at this point as you fabricate tasks to keep her off your tail. “You know I’ll find out!”
“Emily -”
“Wait, who got some last night?” Penelope pokes her head around the corner as she passes, carrying a box of comfy-cozies from her dungeon.
You look up at the ceiling. Maybe a benevolent deity will smite you where you stand.
This is hell. This is what hell is. Nothing could be worse.
Emily throws her thumb at you, and Penelope’s eyebrows shoot to her hairline. “You’re joking. Who?” She almost squeals, and you shush them both.
“Would either of you at least attempt to keep your voices down?” You grab your things from your desk and attempt to leave the bullpen, but your best friends bar you in. “I am not seeing anyone.”
“Oh yeah? Then why do you reek of sex?”
Hotch, leaning just out of sight in the doorway, covers his mouth with his fingers to hide his smile. You haven’t lied to Emily yet, at least not outright.
You roll your eyes. “That’s ridiculous.”
“You do!” Emily barks a laugh. “Come on. I’ve been dead for the last ten months, the least you can do is tell me who you’ve been fucking since then.”
You tut at her. “Don’t be crass.”
“Oh, please. You’ve heard worse.”
Your last name rings out across the bullpen, and you simultaneously thank and curse Hotch for leaving you out to dry like this and then coming to your rescue. With one last glare to both Penelope and Emily, you trot up the stairs and into Aaron’s office, leaving the door open behind you.
“You’re an asshole.”
His mouth twitches as he sits down.
“Was that fun? Did you enjoy that?”
The amusement drops out of his face, and you’d be a little more intimidated except for the fact he’s still wearing jeans and a t-shirt. “Immensely.” He looks down and jots a few notes on a case file.
“So did you just call me up here to save me or did you actually have something for me, sir.”
He looks at you from under his brows, his eyes dark. “Don’t start something you can’t finish, darling.”
Your heart leaps into your throat. Between his tone and the beard, you find yourself almost uncomfortably warm.
Duly noted.
“Though, I did have this for you,” he hands you a file, and you flip through it. “When we get back, we’ll have to circle back with that coroner - his report is incomplete and we need the rest to officially close the case.”
You shut it and set it on the corner of his desk. “I’ll make sure that’s on my list if and when we get our jobs back.”
He huffs a laugh down his nose. “We’ll get our jobs back. We always do.”
“Yeah, you, maybe.”
He stands, offering you some space in the box on his desk for your things. You throw your case files in there, and follow him, empty-handed to Strauss’s office.
He knocks twice and waits for her permission before pushing the door open. “Ma’am?”
“Good morning, you two.” She rises, her hand extended palm-up. He pulls his credentials out of his pocket, and you follow suit, stacking them neatly in her hand. “Thank you. We’ll be in touch regarding the Senate Affairs Committee hearing in the coming weeks. In the meantime,” she sighs, “try to enjoy your time off. Get some rest.”
Aaron nods. “Thank you, ma’am. I can make myself available to assist in anything you may need between now and then.”
She dips her chin, and you’re dismissed.
It’s not unusual for you and Aaron to leave together, and for that you’re grateful. You stop back at his office for your things, and you walk down the stairs together.
Emily’s in the kitchen, emptying the coffee pot, and she calls to you without looking. “I’m gonna figure out who’s been getting it in, don’t you worry.”
Aaron snorts, and she turns on her heel. “Oh my God, Hotch. I didn’t realize -”
She meets your gaze, and you don’t look anything but tired. You take Hotch’s elbow and steer him out, throwing Emily the finger on your way out the door.
When you finally close yourselves into the car, you both laugh so hard you can’t breathe. You can almost trick yourself into thinking everything is normal. The thought sobers you a little bit, and you quiet, looking out of the windshield, staring at nothing.
His hand crosses the center console, and you take it in both of your own.
“Hey.”
You look over at him. “Yeah?”
“All the time in the world, remember?” The corner of his mouth pulls, and you lean over the console to kiss him.
“Thank you.” He’s gentle with you. His thumb and forefinger capture your chin, and he kisses the corner of your mouth, soft and chaste.
+++
The first order of business when you arrive back at the apartment is a shower. You scrub yourself down twice - Emily made you jumpy in the extreme.
You step out in a fresh shirt of Aaron’s, planting yourself on the couch. He passes you a cup of coffee when he returns from the kitchen and sits beside you. As soon as he’s settled, you scoot into his side and tuck under his arm.
“So,” you say. He looks down at you. “I don’t think it’s a good idea to change the routine we had before you left for Pakistan.”
He hums, taking a sip of his coffee. “I agree. It would be hard on Jack.”
“I’d miss you. And I already missed you and I’m sick of it.” Your voice is small, and you’re almost embarrassed, but he presses a kiss to your head.
“I’m sick of missing you, too.” He nuzzles into your temple. “And I am not done with you yet.” His fingers, one at a time, gently tap over the bruises on your hip from last night.
You shiver. “That’s convenient. I’m not done with you, either.”
He sets his coffee down and tips your chin up with his finger. He hovers a hair's breadth away from your lips, dropping his voice to a whisper. “I love you.” Before you can respond, his lips are on yours.
Keys rattle in the door, and you lean away from him. He chases your lips, unwilling to part from you until the last second. He stands just in time for Jack to bust through the door and into his arms.
“Dad!”
Aaron lifts Jack into his arms and swings him around. Jack’s arms are tight around his neck, and soon they stop moving. They cling to each other for a moment, father and son.
Jessica embraces you when you rise from the couch. “Hey!”
“Hey, Jess.”
You keep your arms around each other as you watch your boys. Jack leans away from Aaron and puts his hands on his father’s cheeks.
“Your beard is scratchy.”
Indeed it is, Jack.
Aaron laughs, and nuzzles into Jack’s cheek until he’s laughing. “Do you like it?”
Jack’s face crinkles up, and that’s answer enough. A split second later, he registers your presence and wiggles out of his father's arms and throws himself into yours.
“Hey, bud.”
He tucks into you, and he looks over his shoulder at Aaron. “Dad’s beard makes him look funny.”
You suppress a smile and lean in conspiratorially. “He doesn’t really look like himself, does he?”
Jack shakes his head with a giggle, while Aaron looks completely betrayed. You kiss Jack’s head and set him back on his feet, stepping into the kitchen with the nearly-empty coffee mugs to give the Brooks-Hotchners some much-needed time together.
You sneak back into the master bedroom, stretching out against the headboard with your laptop. Suspension means no work to submit, but nobody said you can’t draft emails and consolidate the veritable mountain of work that will inevitably find you upon your return.
After about twenty minutes, the front door opens and closes, and Jack’s little feet patter past you, headed toward his bedroom. Aaron swings into the bedroom and quickly crosses to you, stretching across the bed to reach you. Taking your face in his hand, he presses a sweet kiss to your lips.
“We’ve got LEGOs in Jack's room when you’re done in here.”
You hum, and wind your fingers in the hair on the side of his head. “Oh, while you’re here,” you say his lips, “I’ll make you a deal.”
“Oh?”
“Shave the beard to appease your son, but keep the hair.” Your fingers wander to the back of his head and pull once, sharply.
His breath leaves him in a huff. “What did I say about starting things you can’t finish?”
You plant one more filthy kiss on him before shoving him away from you. “To not to?”
He rolls his eyes and leaves you to your work. You don’t miss the way he adjusts himself in his jeans on the way out the door.
+++
By the end of the evening, you all have a fairly impressive collection of LEGO vehicles. You lean against Jack’s bed frame, your bare feet stretched out in front of you. To anyone watching, it looks like a typical Saturday.
Aaron conceded to an easy dinner of sandwiches and veggies in Jack’s bedroom. You figure he’ll be a pushover for another few days as he makes up for his long absence, if tonight is anything to go on.
“Alright, bud. Time for bed.” Aaron stands and takes all the plates into the kitchen while you help Jack with the LEGOs.
The finished pieces go on his bookshelf, of course, while the loose pieces go back into the bin that lives under his bed. It’s safe to say have the lay of the land after nearly five months without Aaron. Jess needed a break just as much as the rest of you, and you were more than happy to take Jack for a weekend here or there, sleeping on the couch or in Aaron’s bed, or having a slumber party on the living room floor of your house.
Aaron returns a few minutes later, wearing a soft white shirt and sweatpants. He lingers in the doorway, watching you tidy up with Jack. The way you are with him is easy. You toss a set of pj’s out of the drawer, and Jack catches them.
“Get those on, little bug. Dad will be back in to read you a chapter of one of your books, okay?”
Jack snags your hand, and you kneel so you’re eye-level with him. “Are you sleeping over?”
“I think so, but I’m not sure.” You glance up at Aaron with a smile just for him. “I think we should ask Dad if that’s alright.”
He turns promptly, leaning into you. You hook your chin over his shoulder and wrap your arms around him. “Daddy, can we have a sleepover?” Jack’s request is very polite and pulls a smile from you.
Aaron’s lips pull into a fond smile, unable to say no to two of his favorite faces looking up at him. “Yeah, we can have a sleepover.”
“Yes!” Jack breaks your grip and runs down the hall to his bathroom, where he will inevitably brush his teeth too fast and change into his pajamas.
You stand, and cross to Aaron, who’s waiting for you with a place in his arms. “Sleepover?”
“Mhmm.” He presses a kiss to your temple and you lean into him.
Jack comes running back down the hall and you slip out of Aaron’s arms and crouch, letting Jack’s tiny body knock into you full force. You pepper his cheeks in kisses before holding him to your chest, his head tucked under your chin. He wraps his legs around your waist and you haul him up as you stand, passing Aaron in the doorway.
He scuttles under the covers and you tuck him in, pressing a kiss to his forehead. “I’ll see you in the morning, okay?”
“Okay. I love you.”
You smile at him. “I love you, too.” With a final kiss to his forehead, you straighten and make your way to the master bedroom, getting plenty comfortable as you wait for Aaron to return.
Aaron settles in at his son’s side, propped against the headboard with his ankles crossed. He realizes just how much he’s missed in that moment - the book in his hands is a new one. They must have finished the other one while he was in Pakistan.
Jack tucks into his side, and he starts to read.
With both doors open, you can hear the low murmur of Aaron’s voice from down the hall. You curl up under the covers, letting your eyes close. A light in the hallway turns off, and you hear Aaron tell Jack that since “the grown-ups don’t have work in the morning, we’re all gonna sleep in.”
Sleep in. Right.
For someone as big as he is, Aaron is surprisingly quiet. With your eyes closed, you only realize he’s back when the door clicks shut. The lights turn off, and he slips into bed beside you.
“Aaron?”
He reaches for you in the darkness, and you take his hand. “Yeah?”
“I still don’t like it, but I understand it.”
He knows you’re talking about Emily, and your admission comes with a bit of relief. There’s no need to defend himself, but he feels compelled to assure you of one more thing. “You know I would never lie to you if I had any other option, right?”
You huff a laugh, and scoot closer to him. He wraps you in his arms, and a little piece of the ache in your chest quiets. “Yeah, I know.”
“You also know there will be some things I can’t share with you.” He presses his forehead against yours, and you nod. “And while I may have to keep things from you, I promise I will never fabricate a reality outside of the truth ever again. If you ask me a question I can’t answer, I will tell you as much. If you ask me if what I communicated is all the information I have, I will tell you that, too.” He huffs something that’s almost a laugh. “I will be as forthcoming as possible about the things I cannot be forthcoming about.”
You cup his jaw in your hand. “Thank you.”
Aaron’s lips meet yours, and it’s like coming home.
The kiss turns heated quickly, and you break apart after a moment. You’re both breathless and wanting. It’s torture.
Aaron closes his eyes and kisses the corner of your mouth. It feels like a promise. “What do you want?” The question is loaded. He drops down to your throat, kissing the skin under your jaw.
“You.”
+++
Jack, ever the gift, sleeps late the next morning, so you and Aaron have more time together than you expected.
Aaron drew you into his lap when you first woke, leaning against the headboard with your head against his shoulder.
“Can I tell you something?”
You smile, your finger tracing his bare chest. “Of course.”
“I can’t believe you’re not more upset with me over Emily.”
You laugh a little. “I just understand it, you know? You explained yourself rather elegantly, and now I’m over the initial shock of it, I’m fine. It’s the goddamn Pakistan bullshit that got to me.”
“Yeah.” He kisses your temple. “I still don’t feel great about that.”
You burrow into his neck, your nose under his jaw. “Why didn’t you tell us?”
He sighs, and you know he’s actually thinking about his answer. “There wasn’t a good time to tell you when I found out about the assignment, and then I kept putting it off and putting it off. The longer I waited, the more difficult it became.” You can feel his jaw tighten, and you flatten your hand against his chest. “It was selfish of me. I couldn’t face telling you, especially when I didn’t know how long I would be gone.”
“Promise me you won’t run from us again?”
He pulls you close to him, and you can feel his breath in your hair. “I don’t have a reason to, anymore.”
+++
It breaks your heart, but the time finally comes to shave the beard. You find him in the bathroom with shaving cream and a razor. He’s already got half of his face lathered up when you walk in.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
He looks over at you. “Shaving? As requested?” It’s definitely a question.
You shake your head and hold up a finger. Jogging to your go bag, you pull out the shaving kit you keep in there, just in case. In it, the tool you’re looking for. You walk back to the bathroom with the little cloth bag in your hand, hopping up on the counter to sit. The marble is cold on your skin, covered only by his shirt and a pair of sleep shorts.
He watches you, a curious look on his face. You unzip it and pull out a classic single-blade straight-razor.
“May I?”
Wary eyes glance at the blade, and his breath picks up. “Do you have to use that one?”
“Do you trust me?” You take him gently by the arm and pull him between your knees.
“Of course,” he answers quickly. “It’s just...I just -”
“Knife shit. I know.”  Your casual, understanding tone doesn’t reveal the flash of panic you feel in your chest. The memory of his broken body in that hospital bed, stabbed half to death by Foyet, is never far from the forefront of your mind.
As days go, that was one of the scariest.
He nods and swallows.
You set the blade down and put your hands on his cheeks, shaving cream be damned. “He can’t hurt you anymore. He’s gone and you’re here with me.” You press a soft kiss to his lips, and he lifts his thumb to wipe at the foam on your cheek. “Can I do this for you?”
Another shaky breath leaves him. “Yes.”
“If you need to stop, just put your hand on my waist okay?” There’s nothing but love in your eyes as you watch his gaze flicker across your face. “We can stop anytime and I can leave you alone and you can shave this beautiful thing off your face yourself and rob me of my grieving process.”
His lips pull up in a smile. “Okay.”
You start the hot water in the sink beside you and wet your hands a little to finish lathering him up with the shaving cream. His nose crinkles when you pop a dot of it on his forehead.
“Really?”
You shrug with a little smile and wash your hands, drying them on the towel hanging over the edge of the sink. Picking up the blade, you raise it slowly. He still flinches a little, nostrils flaring as he controls his breath.
You gently shush him. “It’s just me.” You press your fingers into his chin, gently tipping his head to the right. His eyes flutter shut as you take your first pass against his cheek, but he opens them soon enough. You move slowly, deliberately, and carefully, narrating every single touch of the blade against his skin. You’re so proud of him for his stillness and restraint and trust. He watches you, and you meet his eyes every once in a while - just checking in.
Shave, rinse, dry, repeat. You fall into a rhythm, and he relaxes further and further into your touch each time.
His hands rests on your thighs, his thumbs rubbing back and forth on your bare skin. You caress and gently pull and press wherever you need to for a close shave, and he lets you.
The real challenge comes when it's time to do his neck. His breath picks up again as you tip his chin up. You place your hand on the back of his neck, supporting his head and playing with his hair. “You’re okay, Aaron. Just me, remember?”
“It’s harder when I can’t see you.”
You wrap your legs around the back of his thighs, pulling his hips flush to yours on the edge of the counter. Pressing a kiss underneath his ear, you whisper. “Does that help?”
He can’t bite back his smile. “Yeah, that works.” His hands wander to your hips, and you try to keep yourself from wiggling against him.
“Hold still.” You tip his chin up again and run the blade up his neck, over his Adam’s apple, under his jaw, past his carotid artery. To combat the rising panic he’s no doubt experiencing, you press a kiss to every patch of freshly-shaven skin.
Soon, you’re finished. You take one final section underneath his jaw, rinse, dry, and fold the blade back into its case. Snagging one of the washcloths nearby, you soak it in the warm water and wring it out, bringing it to Aaron’s face.
He watches your eyes as you wipe the remaining shaving cream from his skin with a heartbreaking tenderness. The warmth is divine, and all his panic melts away at your touch. A profound feeling of safety washes over him. With a little bit of a start, he realizes there’s not a nick or cut on him at all.
That’s talent.
When you bring the towel down again, your Aaron stares back at you. “There you are.”
“Here I am.” His hands play with the edge of your shirt, and your heel sneaks up the back of his leg. “Jack will be home soon.” The warning is weak at best, and you check the clock.
“Henry’s soccer game doesn’t end for another twenty minutes, and you know Will will take them for ice cream after.”
Aaron hums thoughtfully, pretending to think. He cants his head and studies you, his eyes narrow.
“What?” You ask through a little laugh.
“I’m just trying to figure out why I can’t get enough of you.” His hands reach your back and pull your chest flush against his, and you let out a little unintentional whine from the back of your throat.
“Aaron…” You tip your head back against the wall as his lips wander from the corner of your mouth to your neck and collarbones, his hands sweeping over your skin.
He returns to your lips, and you wrap your arms around his neck. “You know,” he says against your lips, “we haven’t christened anywhere except the bed, yet.”
You pull back, and find a wicked glint in his eye. “Aaron Hotchner, are you suggesting what I think you are?”
“I’m not suggesting anything.”
+++
After, he holds you to him, and you stay there for what feels like hours, just resting against each other.
+++
Emily is relentless - three drinks in and she’s still badgering you about your sex life. “I’m serious, and I’m just drunk enough to ask the good questions.” She wiggles her eyebrows suggestively and bumps you with her shoulder.
It's the third week of your suspension, and the committee has subpoenaed you all starting next Tuesday. Tonight, the team drinks to a possible future of unemployment.
You laugh, taking a sip of your water. You’re playing designated driver tonight, along with Hotch. You figure it’s easier to sneak around when the rest of the team is drunk. “Yeah, and I’m sober enough to not answer them.”
“Oh come on, at least give us something,” Penelope whines.
Against your better judgement, you relent a little. “Alright. You get five vague questions - no names, no identifying details. Five.”
“Each?” Garcia’s eyebrows raise, but immediately fall into a scowl when you reply -
“Total.”
Emily downs the rest of her drink. “Alright. I’ll go first. Size?”
Your lips twitch. “Impressive.”
“Stamina?” Penelope chirps.
“Exceedingly impressive.”
“What’s exceedingly impressive?” Derek comes up behind Emily and kisses her on the cheek. She preens a little before answering.
“Well, someone,” she points at you, “is sleeping with someone, and we have been granted five vague answers to five vague questions.”
Aaron rounds the other side of Penelope, where his singular beer awaits him. He takes a sip to hide his smile. From here, you’re the only one who can see his face straight-on.
Clever bastard.
Derek offers you a fist, and you tap his knuckles with your own. “Yes, sweetness! You know you gettin’ it!” You laugh.
“Shut up, Derek.”
He winks at you.
Penelope reviews the previous two questions, rapid fire. “We only have size and stamina so far - impressive and exceedingly impressive, respectively.”
You do your best to avoid a pair of watchful and amused brown eyes. “Alright, three more.”
Emily ponders for a minute. “Record?”
“For?”
“How many times have you gotten off in one night?”
You pretend to think for a moment. “Do you actually mean one night, or just in one round.”
Penelope’s jaw drops, and you try not to laugh out loud.
“Um…” Emily’s caught off guard a little. “One night - wait, are you sure you’re dating a man-person?”
A laugh escapes you. “Yes, I’m sure he’s a man person, I’m not dating him, and to answer your first question, I would conservatively estimate six, but I’m... honestly not sure.”
Derek’s eyes look like they’re going to pop out of his head. “Where did you meet this guy?”
“I refuse to answer on the grounds of specificity.”
“Alright, fine.” He amends. “Rank?”
“As in, how does he numerically compare to other men I may or may not have slept with?” Derek nods, and you tip your chin rather arrogantly, still avoiding Aaron’s eyes across the table. “One. Ten out of ten. Five stars.”
You take a sip of your water and finally glance in Aaron’s direction, throwing a wink at him. The corner of his mouth quirks, but he recovers quickly.
“Hotch, do you have a question?”
He waves her off, taking another sip of his beer. “Don’t indict me.”
“Okay, then I’ll take last one. It’s gotta be good and I’m really gonna put you on the spot.” Emily points at you, and you push a water glass toward her. That’s invitation enough. “Do you think he’s it for you, then? If he’s the best? Do you know him well enough that you could say he’s The One - not that I believe in that sort of garbage or that sex is the be and and end all, of course - but, yeah. You’re definitely into him. I can tell. So spill.”
You take a deep breath.
Decisions, decisions.
A small smile stretches across your lips. “I think he’s got a really decent shot, if he plays his cards right.”
And we all know how good Aaron is at poker.
Derek tips his head. “I’ll drink to that.” He raises his glass. “To one lucky motherfucker, wherever he may be.”
You take a sip of your water and chance a glance across the table again. A silent conversation begins, taking place over the course of a split second.
His eyebrows raise, just a touch for just a moment. You mean it?
You suppress a smile.
He sighs, nodding to himself just a little. Gotta play my cards right, then, I guess.
Guess so.

Jedi: Fallen Order thoughts 2/?
Discussion on "Star Wars - Jedi: Fallen Order". First post here, spoilers and lengthy rambling after the jump.
Tumblr media
Honestly, I love this box art so much purely for the facts that 1) I made sure to remove that poncho the instant I could because the game's cloth dynamic rendering had it flailing about wildly as if it were trying to attack the universe through sheer defiance of physics in every cutscene. And 2) see that alien dude on the left with a pistol? In-game, he's an utter coward who never once participates in anything remotely resembling violence and sure as hell never wields a gun. It just reminds me of how Kirby is always given angry eyebrows in the US because marketing people are fucking stupid and think players won't be drawn to the game with an abjectly cute mascot.
Tumblr media
So! The story.
As mentioned in my previous post, "Fallen Order" basically wants to tell a Found Family tale about a ragtag group of remnants who leave behind their previous lives and forge a new future together. We have our main character Cal Kestis; a former Padawan who survived Order 66 and has been in hiding for a handful of years. Cere Junda; a former Jedi who's cut herself off from The Force, Greez Dritus; a gambling addict pilot with a troubled past he's trying to leave behind, and BD-1; an annoyingly named but utterly lovable Droid who is far and away the best character in the entire damn game. There's also Nightsister Merrin; the presumably last survivor of the Nightsisters and potentially Cal's love interest, but she basically only shows up in the last 10 minutes of the game and doesn't get a lot of screentime despite being presented as a major part of the cast.
The game takes place a handful of years after the purge of the Jedi in Order 66, where both Cal and Cere's core character thrust is tied into. Cal was a child who survived only due to his master sacrificing his life to save him and has been wracked with guilt and PTSD ever since. Cere, on the other hand, unintentionally abandoned her own Padawan and other younglings, directly leading to their death, corruption by the Dark Side, and almost falling to the Dark Side herself. The bulk of the narrative throughout the game is dealing with the relationship these two have with one another, coming to terms with their own trauma, and moving forward from there. Meanwhile, the overall plot itself focuses around finding a Holocron that has a map and list of Force-sensitive children throughout the galaxy, which the gang can use to rebuild the Jedi Order while also keeping it - and thus the children - out of The Empire's hands. The whole series of events culminates in a big showdown between Cere's former Padawan whom she abandoned and became corrupted into an Inquisitor, Cal contending with his own guilt, and the decision on whether or not the gang has the right to interfere with the Force-sensitive children's lives and potentially put them in danger if another purge were to occur.
On paper, it's a solid enough story. The actual execution leaves something to be desired.
Something I absolutely hate in games (which has become frustratingly abundant in recent years) is the illusion of choice. If a player is presented with choosing A, B, or C, that decision should matter. Which path is taken should have impact, consequence, and change the course of the story. If all three routes converge back together at the same outcome regardless of what you picked, then your choice never mattered at all. "Fallen Order' suffers from this. There are fairly sporadic points in the game where you're given the option to choose how Cal will reply to a given conversation, or whether or not to take a certain action, but it doesn't matter at all. The conversation's outcome nor the overall story isn't affected by your choice (or even if you bother to have the conversation at all), and the any time you try to do something other than what the game wants you to do, it'll just reset itself endlessly until you cooperate. You have no choice in the matter, but the game makes it appear as if you do to emulate your involvement.
I absolutely hate this in games. If a game presents you with choices, then your choices should have consequences. Your input should matter. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a linear, plot-driven game where the player has no direct input on the narrative. If anything, that gives the story even greater opportunities to shine because it allows the writers and directors to be in full control of the presentation, characterization, and story.
At the risk of sounding like a cranky old man, this is very much a "back in my day!" sort of situation where older games wouldn't shy away from simply locking a player out of content if they chose a certain path. If you pick A, you don't get to see what happens down B or C. If you want to join the Jets, you don't get to join the Sharks. If you want to see what lies down those other routes, then replay the game and make different decisions. Sometimes it was a specific design choice, other times it was a way to handle hardware/programming restrictions. But there's a big notion these days in particular where there's a desire to make sure the player sees all the game's content up front. I anecdotally chalk it up to an increase in non-gamers entering into video game development at management level and making design decisions they're not qualified for, but that's just my own take. Like, I understand the thought process behind it. "We have all this content, so we want to make it a selling point and ensure the player gets to see all of it! If they play our game and miss a bunch of stuff, they might bitch at us and cause reviews". I get it, I do. But it's also bullshit because it directly harms the final product. If a game is good, players will replay it ad nauseum for ages beyond release. So they're going to see all the content one way or another. When the "we have to let the player access all content up front" mind set is in effect, it means the player's choices ultimately don't matter and the resulting abundance of content is quantity rather than quality.
In the case of "Fallen Order", your choices don't matter one bit and it's not even out of a case of accessing content. For some reason the developers put in this vestigial, pointless façade of a dialogue tree and choice system when the game frankly would've been far stronger if it had just been left out entirely. Developers have to invest one way or another. Either make it a fully narrative-driven game and tell a solid story, or make it a player-driven game and put in the effort to make the player's choices matter. Especially in a Star Wars game, as RPGs in this franchise have historically have Light/Dark Side choices, character deaths, and alternate endings based on your decisions. A big part of "Fallen Order"'s story is characters contending with the risk of falling to the Dark Side because of their trauma, but the game itself never actually gives the player any chance to explore that at all. It's a huge missed opportunity either way.
I think that's where a lot of the story's trouble comes from in the end. It's a lot of build up on a good idea that fizzles out and goes nowhere. Cal spends the entire game getting to a point where he's ready to move on, and then the game ends. Cere comes to terms with her past mistakes and tries to redeem her fallen Padawan, only for said fallen Padawan to be killed abruptly and completely cut off that entire story thread. Greez's past coming back to haunt him is shoe-horned in randomly and never goes anywhere. Merrin doesn't have enough time on screen to matter. There are three major villains throughout the game who are just cast aside casually and with no lingering impact for ever having been there. The biggest final boss, who has been the core antagonist and a major point of emotional conflict for the entire game, is discarded with no resolution because this is a Star Wars game and we just can't have one that doesn't feature Darth Vader sweeping in to steal the spotlight.
It's just... ugh. There's potential here. There's obvious, glowing moments of potential where things could've been developed into something really impressive if they were just given the opportunity. It feels like a huge waste and the end result is just a "meh" game that doesn't go anywhere, doesn't contribute to the setting, and could very easily be dismissed entirely from the franchise with absolutely no impact.

*this gif make me weak 🥵*
Tumblr media
Sleepiness was slipping away from your body just the way the little rays of sunlight slipped through the curtains of your bedroom, but you still refuse to open your eyes and leave the warmth of your boyfriend's arms that hold loosely around your waist. You can hear his soft breath and his steady heartbeat, you can smell his sweet natural scent, you can feel the soft skin of his bare chest, both of your legs tangled, and you don't want to lose anything of that.
You slowly open your eyes and see yourself cradled in the crook of his neck, your favorite darkness and place to sleep. You press a little peck on his neck and lean back a little to admire his sleeping face. "How can you be so beautiful while sleeping, Kim Inseong?", you whisper to yourself, bringing one of your hands up to trace his delicate features.
Starting for his forehead, you press sweet kisses over his face, on his eyelids, his cheeks, the tip of his nose, his chin, the corner of his lips, feeling his heart beat a little faster with each movement and his arms tighten instinctively around you. “You’re missing a place”, he mumble in his slow groggy morning voice without moving nor opening his eyes. It takes you by surprise, but you smile and caress his cheek. “Am I? Where?”, you ask him teasily. He pouts indicating he want your lips on his, what make you chuckle.
Thinking about teasing him a little more, you press a slow peck in the space between his nose and his top lip, followed by another one right below his bottom lip. He whimpers sulkily and press his body even further into yours, both of your faces now only millimeters away from each other. You stare at his mouth for a couple of seconds before your noses touch and you brush your lips against his in a lazy kiss. Impatient, he bring one of his hands to the back of your neck, deepening the kiss while sliding his tongue into your mouth.
Your kisses are slow but firm and he manages to make you dizzy as always. He feels you melting into his arms and take the chance to pull you on top of him, your warm bodies now totally tangled. You only break the kiss when your lungs lose all their air and press your foreheads together, panting heavily. Inseong finally open his eyes and smile sweetly at you, sliding his hands into his shirt you are wearing to draw soft patterns on the soft skin of your back. You smile back, pecking the tip of his nose once more while running your small hands through his hair. He closes his eyes again and hums at the relaxing feeling, leaning in your caresses.
"Good morning, my love", you whisper against his lips. "Good morning, my baby", he whisper back closing the little distance between you. You part again just to move to pepper his jawline and neck with sweet kisses, making his heart skipping a beat. Sitting up a little, you put your legs on either side of his hips and start to trace a tentative trail of open mouthed kisses along his shoulders, collarbones and chest, lingering longer with every touch of your lips on his bare skin.
Inseong squirm beneath you with the warm sensation your pretty mouth leave on his body. "Baby, this is too dangerous. I'm almost naked", he says into giggles. Inseong was almost naked indeed, wearing only his boxers, but so were you, wearing only an oversized shirt of his and some comfortable panties - that's the way you both sleep almost every day, apart from the nights you shed all of your clothes and sleep completely naked. "So what? I already saw all of this hundreds of times before", you tease licking a sweet spot on his neck, "and I love every single part of this", you complete as he cups your cheeks in his large hands bringing your face up. His eyes scans your beautiful features, his gaze full of love and admiration while a slight grin lights up his lips.
You lay on him again and adjust your position to be face to face with him. He still caresses your cheeks and lips, his eyes lost in a lovely trance. "You're perfect, Y/N", he whispers when your eyes meet. A suddenly wave of shyness run through your body and your hide your reddish face onto his neck, soft giggles scaping from your lips. He laughs at your reaction and starts to caress your hair saying "Don't be shy, baby" rocking you from side to side. "I'm not perfect at all and you know it very well", you mumble against his neck. Inseong sighs and cups your face again to make you look at him. "You're perfect to me, don't matter what". He brings you closer and places a soft kiss on your lips. Then, he presses your foreheads together again and you both keep quiet, just enjoying each other's warmth.
His hands, that left your face, now are lazily roaming around your body - your arms on his shoulders, your back, your sides, your hips, passing by your butt and reaching the back of your tights, then made a little return to land on the cheeks of your butt, squeezing them softly and playing with the hem of your panties. "Hey, what are you doing down there?", you ask suspicious. "Enjoying my girl's cuteness", he answers teasingly. "Do you mean my cuteness is on my butt?", you pout. "Hhhmm... maybe", he teases you again and you roll your eyes, "So silly", moving to his neck again while he laughs at you.
Inseong really loves your body as much as he loves you. He could spend hours exploring every curve and line of you as he's trying to memorize every single centimeter of your being. For both of you, being naked around each other is an crucial intimate moment shared only the two of you. As years passed by, you both got used to not freak out when you see each other's bare skin. And even though he ends up pounding hard into you most of times, these moments are beyond just sex, it's one of your favorite opportunities to show how you love and trust each other.
"I love you so much, my princess", he says tighten his arms around you and pressing a sweet kiss in your temple. You look up at him again, bringing one of your hands to cup his cheek. "I love you too, my prince. You know you are my favorite person, right?", you smile at him and he melts under you, his heart beating really fast. "I know. And you are the love of my life, the last woman I'll ever love". Now, it's your turn to melt between his arms. "Am I your last woman?", you ask. "Well, not really. There will be another woman that I'll love", he answers looking thoughtful all of sudden while a sweet smile appears on his lips seeing you pouting. "Don't worry. You'll love her too and she'll call you mommy and I'll be her daddy", Inseong's smile now wide and as bright as sunlight. You're so surprised at his words that you don't know what to say and just followed his grin. "Do you want to have kids with me?", you manage to say after some seconds. "Of course I do. A lot of them", he winks at you and you laugh. "Okay, then. Let's have a bunch of them", you give in his conversation. "Really?", he asks happily and you nod. "So, can we make one right now?", your eyes widened at his question and you crack a nervous laugh. “Seongie, not now! We are not even married yet”. “So, let’s get married!” “Hey, calm down, boy! And you have to propose to me properly later”, you slightly sulk. “Okay, okay… We still have time, right?”. “Of course we do. All the time of our lives”, you answer kissing him softly and he immediately kisses you back, your tongues dancing together.
You share some more kisses till you make out the reality and part. “I think it’s time for us to get up now, huh? What do you want to do today?”, you asked putting your hands on his shoulders. “Let’s stay in bed all day”, he murmurs snuggling deeper into you. “But, baby, we have to get up and eat breakfast to start the day”, you say softly -  but deep inside you love the idea of spending the day in bed with him. “Are you hungry?”, he asks still cradled onto you neck. “Not really. And you?”. He moves to look into your eyes and adjusts your position to you straddle him again. “Actually, I am starving”, his hands kneading your butt once more. “What do you want to eat?”. A flash lights up his eyes as he looks right into yours. Then he brings his head up a little to whisper his answer in your ear. “You”.
Your eyes wide again and a squeal leave your mouth as he turns both of your bodies so now he’s hovering above you. You instinctively tighten the grip of your hands onto his shoulders and wrap your legs around his waist while he supports himself on his elbows to not crash you. “Inseong, what are you doing?”, you whisper a little breathless. “Preparing to love you. Don’t want to?, he asks cautiously. This is exactly your and Inseong’s favorite position to make love and he knows how weak you become beneath him when you’re like this. You blush and look away only to whisper a soft “I do”, making Inseong chuckles. Normal people usually use their hands to bring the face of their lovers up to look at them, but your amazing boyfriend does different. He maneuvers his head and goes directly with his lips on yours, ruling out any chance of you run away. And so he goes, deep into your mouth, with you showing no resistance. “I want to make love to you all day long”, he growl against your lips. “I’m not the one who’ll stop you. You know I’m all yours and only yours”, you manage to talk between pantings when he moves to attack your sensitive neck. His hips starting to roll slowly on yours, his clothed hardening member rubbing your clothed core rightly, your folds getting wetter with every move, choked out moans scaping from both of you.
Inseong moves away a bit to lift your shirt and take it away from your body only to give him access to your soft skin. He presses open mouthed kisses on your shoulder and collarbones, till make his way down to your breasts, giving an special attention to your hard nipples. He licks and nibble your sensitive budds, you're a completely moaning mess under his scalding body. "Baby", he calls. You can only hums while he continues his assault on your nipples. "Can I eat you?", he asks so lovely and sexy at the same time, his voice low and hoarse. "Yes, please", you manage to say into your growing moans. Inseong chuckles and slides his hot mouth down to your stomach and belly till reach the hem of your now soaked panties. He gently releases your legs around him and knees between them, locking his eyes with yours. "I'm taking this off, okay?", you just nod and he slides your panties down your legs, leaving you completely naked, exposed and spread out for him.
He crawls up to kiss you once more while his long fingers gently rub your pussy. "You're so damn wet for me already, love", he murmurs against your lips and you smile into the kiss. He immediately finds your clit and you arch your back into his body, already breathless. Inseong realize you're ready for him and goes down on you, licking your wetness and attaching his hungry mouth to your centre. A loud moan instantly escape from your throat and you unscrupulous lock your fingers on his hair, grinding on his face. He hums appreciatively against you, the vibrations sending rays of energy and heat through your body. Then, he begins to play with your hole too, inserting one finger in it. "In-inseong", you moan loud and he gets the signal to go further, inserting a second finger and immediately finding your g-spot. This time, you scream his name and feel the knot on your stomach tighten, your legs shaking slightly as the pleasure invades your whole body. Inseong's movements on your clit and hole are driving you crazy and he can feel you clenching around his fingers and your breath failing. With some more touches, you can't handle the knot inside you anymore and come all over Inseong's mouth and fingers, your legs shaking desperately as he moves to kiss and nibble slightly your inner thighs.
He sits up again and clean his lips, patiently waiting for you to recover your breath, as he caresses your hips. You finally open your eyes about one minute after your climax and look at him, a sweet smile gracing his face but a huge bulge on his boxers, a dark spot there left by his precum. You mouth water at the view and he follows your gaze to his member. His expression immediately change to a dark one and you feel a heat run through your spine again. Inseong crawls up on you, kissing you hungrily this time, making you breathless once more. "As much I love your pretty mouth around me, babygirl, I can't handle this anymore. I want you so badly right now", he growls on your ear, kissing the sweet spot there before moving to hungrily nibble your neck with deep love bites, you panting heavily while scratching his upper back.
Inseong gets on his knees to take off his boxers, his now free length bouncing on his stomach, his red tip glowing with precum. He palms himself a little, although his member is already full hard, before cradling between your legs and wrap them around his waist. Now on top of you again, he positions himself at your entrance, sliding his length slowly but easily into your pussy. You both moan loudly at the feeling of him filling you up. "You're so tight, baby", he cries out when he's balls deep inside you, giving you time to adjust to his intrusive member. "This is so good, Inseong. You're so good", Inseong smiles at you and presses a firm kiss to your forehead. "You can move now", you whisper very close to his lips. He interwines your hands together and give you a breathtaking kiss, starting his thrusts slowly, just the way you like. Inseong's penis stretchs you out and your pussy embrace him so perfectly as if the universe knew that you are made for each other since the beginning. Now, you both knew it. After so many years dating, every look, every touch, every kiss is like the first one - sincere, full of love and devotion. And in intimate moments like this, you know you can give all you have to each other, with no regrets, with no pain. It's like, in the whole world, it's just you and him and your special connection. And none of you want to lose this ever.
His thrusts now are deeper and faster and find their sweet spot inside you, making you break the hot kisses you were sharing and scream his name as loud as you can. Inseong loves seeing you like this, being pleasured by him, screaming his name in delight. "You're so beautiful, my love", he whispers against your lips. You're not able to talk anymore, only moans, whimpers and screams leave your mouth and Inseong knows that very well, so he moves to your neck to plant sweet kisses on the marks he left earlier. The friction his body makes on your clit plus the right thrusts on your g-spot are making your high approach again and you clench around his penis, causing him to moan loud too.
Now, his movements are sloppy, erratic and rough as he's close to his orgasm as well. Both of your high-pitched moans and his balls slamming hard against your pussy are the only sounds you can hear, filling your bedroom and probably the whole house - luckily, your neighbors couldn't hear you, but even if they do, neither of you care. Your moans become even louder and you grasp Inseong's shoulders tighter as your orgasm is inevitable and with a few more thrusts, you both cum together - your waters wash over Inseong's member as he releases his seeds deep inside you, both of your legs shaking hard, uneven breaths, hearts pounding hard.
Inseong collapses on top of you, embracing you tight and pressing sweet little kisses all over your face. "Wow, baby! I've never had an ejaculation so hard and long like this", he says and you both laugh. You bring your hand to his cheek and look at him fondly. "Inseong", you whisper softly. "Yes, my love". "Let's stay like this a little longer", you refer to him still inside you. "Sure. We can stay like this forever if you like", he whisper playfully and peck your lips.
You continue connected for what seems like an eternity, but neither of you can't ignore his length getting hard again. He looks deep into your eyes, a naughty smirk on his face. "Round two?", he asks trying hard not to move yet. "Hhhmm... Can I ride you this time?". "You can do whatever you want to me, princess", he answers maneuvering both of your bodies so now you're on top of him.
And the day goes on like this. A long day full of love, passion, sweat and moans. And you’ll never complain if every of your days together are like this.
