Blood And Pressure Masterlist
Yandere!Pjo × Fem!Grisha!reader. (Platonic Yandere gods) (romantic!various characters)
Romance: Clarisse La Rue, Grover Underwood, Annabeth Chase, Luke Castellan, Percy Jackson
this is a shadow & bone slight crossover. Reader is a heartrender and that's all really (maybe more in the future!)
Please note that all characters are aged appropriately, so all characters are older versions of the book characters. So 17-19 characters for these, you can choose any of them really. Just that they are older teens. I will be imagining Charlie Bushnell as Luke.
warnings : short, yandere behaviors, obsession, stalking. slightly sick love, possessive, manipulative, gaslighting. platonic yandere too, blood powers, powerful powers but not godly, and future warnings when more chapters come out.

i have this headcanon that percy and rachel reconnect after his first year at new rome. he visits camp half-blood and runs into her. they talk for a few minutes and agree to see a movie together as friends. and within a week. they're back to finding comfort in each other's presence. having inside jokes. and bi-weekly painting sessions. and late might conversations about their hopes and dreams for the future. just a really healthy friendship that they've needed since they were fifteen.

Some of you are expecting show Percy to act like the Last Olympian Percy or Son of Neptune Percy. "why can't he use his powers?" He's hasn't them learned yet. "Why aren't their epic battle scenes?" He has no training. "Why is he so under powered" he's not at that level yet! Percy in the show didn't have a Luke training montage, he doesn't really know how to properly use a sword. He spent like what a week or so at camp? What do you want him to be OP right out of the gate? The second he knows he's has water powers to master them? You need to wait, he needs to progress and get more confidence. Then he'll get better and be able to fight and use his powers.

ok last thing i will say. The PJO TV Show was fun. It was exciting. The characters were easy to connect with and I want to see more of this world. Was it perfect? No. But if I step back from my twenty somethin self who has loved this series for a decade +, I realize that PJO is a show that genuinely engages its key audience and I can only imagine it gets better and more mature with every season. Much like Harry Potter movies, I’m sure diehard fans bemoaned the missing details and the characterizations and the pacing and the actors, but the movies were so successful in bringing in new fans and new readers and new enthusiasm. In the end, that’s I want for Percy Jackson, and I think this tv series is the perfect vehicle for that.

18 year old me watching Grover be grumpy as hell when being woken up by children: I have never related to anyone more.

have you watched the pjo show?
I saw the first 2 episodes when they came out at a watch party one of my friends threw, and as soon as they ended I realized I didn't particularly care to keep going. It wasn't like, outrageously bad by any means, I just don't think it gripped me enough to want to continue, and there were enough odd adaptational choices that I thought weakened the story that I lost interest. I might have tuned back in if the changes actually built to something interesting in the later episodes, but from everything I've seen it kinda seems like they just took the teeth out of the story, which was what I was worried about.
That being said, the cast seems really great and well suited to their roles, so like, if they improve the writing and pacing in the later seasons and stop sanding down all the rough edges, I might pick it back up. But otherwise, pass.
